- 0:12SPEAKER_00: But welcome back.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: I am so excited to be interviewing our guests today.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: This is a brand that has been on my radar for a while.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: So I've been really enjoying um learning more about them, trying their products.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: Everything is phenomenal, by the way, and I can't wait to introduce you guys to them.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to the marketing director and the product development consultant for Manuka RX, uh Rebecca Ann Hunter and Mervey Samur.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the show, guys.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited to be hosting you.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: Thanks, uh it's uh it's an absolute pleasure um speaking with you today.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: And uh we can't wait to tell your followers about Manuka RX.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, I'm I'm excited to learn about the brand.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: I've been really enjoying it.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: I was uh listening, we were talking before the episode, and I was uh telling both Rebecca and Mervay how much I love the brand, and it's a really, really awesome and unique brand, you know?
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Um and I can't wait to dive into that.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: But I would love to learn about uh just the brand overall.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: If you guys could tell us, maybe Rebecca, you could get us started with just a little bit about the brand, you know, like what really made it uh come to life and and the ethos behind it.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: So just before we get started, I've got a question for you, Hector.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: And that is what do you know about manuka oil?
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: I know absolutely nothing.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: It's I'm just kidding.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I know that it's supposed to be very nourishing and uh very good for your skin and just body overall, but I don't know any details.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: Um that's good, that's good.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: That's what a lot of people when we ask them say.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: But would you know anything about manuka honey?
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: That I do know about.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I know about the antimicrobial properties of honey and also manuka honey specifically is actually I think of it as like honey on steroids.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: That's how I'd think I'd like to think about it.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: It's like way better.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: So I guess um, if we sort of start from the beginning, um, our co-founder, Stuart Cairns, was looking into manuka honey as a medicinal export about six, seven years ago because of the incredible antimicrobial properties of the honey.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: And when he was investigating um and looking into the research behind the honey, he stumbled across some scientific journals and papers around manuka oil.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: So the essential oil that comes from the same tree as the honey, the manuka tree from New Zealand, but it's actually the oil itself is about a thousand times more powerful than the honey.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: So, like you say, it's basically honey on steroids, um, but it's an essential oil and it's got incredible skin health benefits.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: And uh, we're just sort of touching the surface on what the ingredient can do.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: And Manuka RX was started um to basically allow for a way that we could use that oil um in a in a way that's safe for people because using an essential oil, you sort of got to blend it and measure it out in a way that you can put it on your skin.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: But we've basically developed formulations that are ready to use, um, very efficacious, and can be used for helping to restore skin um as well as the earth, which we'll talk a little bit about later on in the podcast episode as well today.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Oh wow.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So I want to know, Murray, maybe you could answer this question about in terms of the oil, like is it an extraction from the honey?
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Like, how is the oil derived?
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, so funny enough, that's another question that we always think you get as well.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Uh so oil actually comes from the same plant from the honey comes from, but basically um it is an essential oil distillation from the leaf and the bark of the tree, whereas uh honey comes from the flower.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: Um we do uh cut the um tree before flowering, so actually the tree tree doesn't die and it and actually it can regenerate itself, so it's a sustainable tree growing and also sustainable plantation as well.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Um so the oil is more potent because it basically comes from the essence of the tree, and it is uh antimicrobial, so that means that it's antibacterial, antifungal, and also it's effective against um mold as well.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: So um that's why we call it anti uh actually anti-verity most of the time.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it is antioxidant, and actually there are studies that show that it's actually uh collagen boosting at the same time.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: So it's a real multifunctional ingredient by itself.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Wow, that is so cool about the mold.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: That it works against mold as well.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Um, I I knew that honey was, you know, it would it had certain capacities, especially like I think also, you know, people confuse like normal honey.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: They think that it's as antimicrobial, but really it's the osmotic uh potential of it that draws out a lot of stuff.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: So I'm really interested in manuka honey actually because I have read that it's uh like I said, you know, it's it's like honey on steroids.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: But um Rebecca, I think I had interrupted you.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: You're telling us all about the brand, and um, if you could continue telling us a little bit more.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: So uh as soon as Solomon Stewart came across this Manuka oil ingredient um and realized that it had a lot of potential, he started by creating the first product um in the Manuka RX range, which is our skin rescue ointment, which is basically an ointment for cats, scratches, insect bikes, itchy skin, um, anything like that.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: So this sort of multi-purpose ointment.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: And because of the success of that product, it sort of drove further innovation and NPD further down the line.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: And that was about six years ago, and now we've got over 20 skews in the range, ranging from our best-selling collection, which is uh our collagen-boosting range, um, which heroes manuka oil and rose if oil that works synergistically together to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Um, and we've also got like a brightening range, which is cakado plum, which is the native, um uh the native kakado plum from Australia, um, which has got incredible brightening properties.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: It's the highest natural form of vitamin C.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: So we synergistically burn that with manuka oil um to provide a really lovely skin brightening range.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: And we've got blemish control and everyday products as well.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: So a whole, a whole mixture.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: And I guess in the evolution of the brand and where we are today, we've sort of found a really unique space in the fact that one, we've got this really incredible, unique native botanical that no one's ever heard of, being manuka oil that's in all of our products.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: But also our focus um from a marketing perspective is actually focusing on older women um in terms of looking at mature skin and and really creating products that speak to that audience.
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: Um, because I think with marketing in general and with skincare, that demographic's often forgotten about.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: And we really want to hero our customers and um and make people feel confident in their skin, whatever their age.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: And so yeah, that's a bit more about Manika RX.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: That's wonderful.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: And I and I really, really like that you guys have this very different take, I think, um, than a lot of brands that I've noticed that have like maybe honey-centered products, you know.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: They don't um it's it's I found it to be very interesting that you guys were very much founded on, you know, this this one ingredient and all of the potentials.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: So that's very interesting to me.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Um, everything you said.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: But I want to know a little bit more um if you could tell us about Stewart's story, um, the co-founder, and and where that all started, you know.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I I think it sort of comes back to his research around taking Manuka honey um and exporting that globally for medicinal purposes.
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: Um and then that's when he sort of stumbled across the oil itself.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: And I think that's sort of where the journey really began.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: Where we are now as an organization might be quite interesting to know as well, Hector, is that Manuka RX is just one of the brands within sort of a portfolio that we have now.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Um and the company as a whole, or umbrella company, is called Manuka Bioscience.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: And so as a business uh and as a company, we are really trying to put Manuka oil on the map because we know the huge potential from both a skincare um perspective, but also from more of an OTC and um pharmaceutical perspective as well.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: The potential is just massive and helping with lots of different skin concerns um globally.
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: So we're really excited about that.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: And as a business, it's quite unique for us because we actually do everything from seed to skin.
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: So today we've planted five million trees on the East Cape of New Zealand, which is where we grow our manuka.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: And that's where we find that the bioactives in the oil that we produce is that at the highest level and really potent and powerful.
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: And so all those trees, as Malvey mentioned, we sustainably cut the tops of to create the steam distillation process required for the production of oil.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: Um, and then we do everything from formulating in our own lab, which Malve um has here in the office.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: And so all the lot of propagations that we have in the Mini PRX have been developed by Malve.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: Um and we do that on site as well.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: So it's it's very unique that we're across all parts of the supply chain.
- 8:55SPEAKER_02: Um where we have at night.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: And uh Mario, I want to learn more about this whole process that you have to go through when it comes to creating your products because, like I said, I really love them, and I think that there is just so much here, you know.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: I I know with the honey we talked about some of the fundamental properties, but in general, I mean, the products really do leave your skin very balanced, very nourished.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: I've noticed they're very good for the skin barrier.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: So maybe you could share some of your inspiration behind when you're doing the product development, right?
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Like maybe walk us through some of your favorite skews that you've created for the brand.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: Yes, of course.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: Um, so actually I have started um working with Monacar X since almost uh they were one SQU, which was the skin rescue oriented, uh, which is the still the hero product um of the whole range by itself.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: But Monaco oil is really, really and sometimes the smell might be off-putting for um anyone other other than um who is living in New Zealand.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: So that's why it's um a real process to actually uh to come up with something that can be suitable for every market and um everyone can accept and also keep the formulation efficacious uh at the maximum on the oil that we can add to the product and um still make it um suitable for every market.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Um but uh Rebecca firstly talked about uh creating three different ranges and uh collagen restore, which was uh our pro-aging range by the by that time, was the first maybe the initial range that we have created.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: Um and collagen restore uh came with being um really synergistic with uh Rose oil.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: So there was um lots of trials and um lots of studies behind to see what monoclon can do, and we have seen actually it creates a real good synergy um with other ingredients, and actually it boosts other ingredients potency as well.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: Um so that's how Rose came in.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: And in all of the formulations, we tried to keep minimum 98% neutral, which was another challenge for us, but uh, I think we have tackled it so well, um, and also we have tried to use other actives that will support our claims really well, and we have designed uh all of our ranges according to the age ranges that we are being told of that uh that will go well.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: So like um the collagen restore range is really created for matrix skin, and it's really matrix skin friendly.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: We have tested on so many people.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Um, I think for the day cream, we have created like 40 alterations to find the perfect texture.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: So yeah, it was a good journey.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: So I wanna I wanna know, Marvey, I like in terms of like, you know, you had mentioned the rose up uh coming in, you know, the rose up oil and stuff, but like in terms of ingredients, right, that work with Manuka, like the oil, I mean, uh did you ever find like limitations there that you couldn't incorporate, or have it been pretty smooth sailing, you know, in terms of the overall formulation of any kind of product that you guys want?
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, you do have, like you said, many ranges here, you know, in the line.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: And um they I'm sure they require so many different ingredients, right, that are geared towards like, you know, different uh different needs.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: But how do those ingredients really play together with the Manuka oil?
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: So, of course, that was a journey to find out, but the main thing Manuka Bioscience does is actually turn back itself to science before taking it into um a product.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: So there were lots of trials with um other essential oils and see which one will give the best efficacy, and also of course with tremendous amount of other ingredients.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: Um and still uh to date monoco bioscience keeps investing on researching on monoco oil and its uh possibilities and um what it can do best with other ingredients as well.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: Um, so far we haven't seen any mixtures that is not working well, but of course it's an essential oil, so if you're using a um water-based uh product, you need to solubise the oil because it's an oil.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: So the limitations are like that, but it's normal for an oil by itself anyway.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: I want to know, uh honestly, Rebecca, this you might be the best person to address this is like, as you know, like honey has been a buzzword in the beauty industry.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: It's been everywhere, you know, we've known about it for a long time.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: But um, what are some things you've noticed from like a marketing perspective that maybe it's like misinformation or something that you've had to address, like, you know, as a company to clear up the educational aspect around this ingredient specifically?
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean it continues to be a challenge day in, day out.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Um I I guess just from an example, I remember we did a campaign once um with a publication here in New Zealand, and you know, our big thing is obviously explaining that we're not honey, we're very different to honey.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: We've set up it sort of approved everything with the email that was going to be sent out.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: Um, and then the email got sent out, and an emoji was added to the subject line of the email right at the last minute that wasn't approved, which was a honey emoji.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: So this whole email sort of explaining that manuka oil is different to honey and that you know it's far more effective and powerful, was sort of um, I guess, ruined in some ways because of the honey emoji that was then obviously leading people to presume that manuka oil was associated to honey.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: So it it continues to be um a big issue.
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: It continues to be something which you know we're trying to educate on.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: Um and I think that I think that's one of our biggest challenges as a business is that you know, in some countries we're lucky that people even know what manuka honey is with the all the with the come uh countries around the world that don't even know where what manuka honey is, we've got nowhere to really start from.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: I guess another way that we can sometimes kind of explain what manuka oil is like in comparison to another ingredient is tea tree oil from Australia.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: Um and so we can say, well, you know, that that as an ingredient's got incredible antibacterial properties like manuka oil does.
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: But with research, we found that actually manuka oil is 30 times more powerful than tea tree oil and when used against gram-positive bacteria.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: So we've got evidence to prove it's more efficacious and in that space as well.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: But it it is challenging.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, I guess the goal of the business, if we could have manuka oil known as something like carallic acid or, you know, one of those sort of like really key buzzwords in beauty, that would be mission accomplished, job done as a mark.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: You can sit back and relax and know that we've um we've done a good job, but it's uh it's challenging, it certainly is.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: But we just I think we're just really excited as a team around the potential for this amazing New Zealand botanical and what the difference it can make across the globe for creating something that's natural that can do so much good for so many people, um, in terms of helping with skin concerns, but also helping with um a really remote part of New Zealand, which is where we grow our oil.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: So um the East Cape is where we produce or grow our trees and produce our oil, and it's it's a part of New Zealand that um has got the highest rates of unemployment.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: And I think this this opportunity that we've got to really um change an area of the country and provide job for locals and amazing opportunities for local landowners to use their land in a more sustainable, common, positive way is just it can have a transformative effect on New Zealand.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: And um, I think as a business, we're just really excited about how much of a difference we can make for both people um and the planet.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: That's so phenomenal.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: I love that you guys have this like broader mission there because, you know, I think a lot of times, you know, I've heard a lot about clean beauty, green beauty, um, you know, really a lot about sustainability.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes I do listen to people talk about it, but I always get lost because there's never this like direct, you know, source that they're referring to, like, you know, in terms of giving back, right?
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: It becomes hard to I could to keep track and to understand, but that's really great that you're giving back to the community that you're, you know, uh that's really you know, you're taking from.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: It's it's direct, it's a direct link.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: And I want to learn more actually about New Zealand's botanicals because you know, I have heard amazing things, and I would love for you to you guys tell us a little bit more.
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 17:36SPEAKER_02: Um, just one thing I wanted to quickly mention, which we've basically found out over the past sort of week or two, is that our umbrella company is gonna be B Corp certified in the next week or two.
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: So it's really nice that that would stand basically saying yes, we are a sustainable business and we can um we can use that obviously um from a marketing perspective, and we'll have Minuka Rx um having a brand review and the B Corp Cert early next year.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: So um we're super stoked.
- 18:01SPEAKER_02: Um we're super stoked about that.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: So their voices.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Actor.
- 18:07SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I guess in terms of New Zealand botanicals, I mean, you know, little old New Zealand in the corner of the world, and uh it's often forgotten about, thought to be an island off the coast of Australia.
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: But um I think because of that remoteness and the fact that it was predator-free for such a long time, the botanicals here are just really, really unique, and we're only just touching the surface around the potential for helping with um you know skin issues and um and and more health issues, I guess, generally as well.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: So obviously we've got uh the mighty manukka, um, which we've talked about today and the the amazing properties of that as a as a native New Zealand um plant, but there's also many others.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: There's um sort of like there's flax, we've got there is cava cover, yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Gosh, I feel like I've just got in the ball.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: There are lots of um native ingredients that you can find from New Zealand, and uh there are lots of good companies that's investing in uh researching for these ingredients and creating really, really beneficial um active ingredients.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: So if any formulators are listening, search for it.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: You'll I'm sure you will find it so easily.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: And everyone in here is really researching to find a way to uh get this ingredients known.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that is a huge photoshow.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: No, I think that's that's really interesting because um, you know, like like you had said earlier, you know, it's interesting, Rebecca, that when things are geographically kind of you know put like they're to the side a little bit geographically, there's a lot of um natural nourishment that takes place.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: And in the endemic species of certain areas, like I I hear this a lot about Greece, that in the Mediterranean area, for example, there's a lot of nourishment that's happening in the soil, you know, for a lot of those plants.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: So I'm I'm just imagining, I'm sure New Zealand is very similar to that, where there's so much more, you know, nourishing components in the soil, in the atmosphere, and the environment that these botanicals, these uh these plants are kind of growing in, that you can get so many benefits, right?
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Like it's almost like getting the best.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: And I think a part of it as well is to do with the fact that um there's sort of a big hole in the ozone layer over New Zealand, and so all these amazing plants have had to protect themselves against these really harsh UV rays.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: And so that in itself they've had to adapt.
- 20:36SPEAKER_02: Um, and so I think you know, that's why, or at least that's why we think that the antimicrobial properties of manuka and manual oil are so high, is because they've they've just had to climatize and adapt to that.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: Um and also the antioxidant potency as well.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: So basically the plant needs to uh protect itself.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: So that's why anything that grows around New Zealand has the highest antioxidant capacity to any anything that's grown in somewhere else.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's that's uh actually gonna lead me to asking you, you know, what are the real skin benefits here?
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: Because I feel like um because you are coming from this place of these plants have adapted so much, I'm sure the benefits for our skin, um, you know, daily daily lives, you know, we all live in these urban centers now, I feel like, and um, you know, like you had mentioned, antioxidants are another buzzword in this industry, but rightfully so.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: You know, we all need them.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: And so, what are some skin benefits that we can look forward to with manuka oil?
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: So definitely being antimicrobial, that means if you have acne or skin that out of its microbiome and having some issues, it will definitely um have to restore its microbiome.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: And um, we are still um trying to prove it, but uh from our studies we can see that it um actually.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Doesn't kill all the good bacteria.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: It actually selects the bad bacteria and actually kills that.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: So we are trying to um prove it with certifications and everything.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: It's on the way, but we can say that it is microbiome friendly.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: And that's that's why it will restore your skin when you use it.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: So if um the products that we have created, um it will definitely help with other benefits that we have talked about, like firming, uh, lifting, brightening.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: But the best thing the money coil will do will be the restoring your skin and restoring your skin health.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: So it will um make your skin healthier or um take it back to its health um by itself.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Now you had mentioned there was the collagen line in the brand.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Now, what are some of the other um lines that are present in the collection?
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: So we've got the collagen with skill collection, um, which we meant before is manual oil and rose oil, which is scientifically proven to boost collagen one and three production.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Um, we've got our lovely skin brightening collection, which combines manuka oil that works in tandem with cacado plum, the highest natural form of vitamin C.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: We've got a blemish control collection, which the majority of the formulations have both manuka oil and tea tree oil, so they can work together as well as the kind of key ingredient combo.
- 23:31SPEAKER_02: And then we've also got an everyday collection, which has got things like the original uh OG ointment that we talked about before, um, and a few other sort of skin oils for just helping with um any compromised skin issues that people have as well.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: And we've got some exciting MPD in the work for next year, um, which unfortunately we can't sort of speak to today.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: Um, but just again helping to utilize the benefits of manugo oil in different ways um to help with skin health.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: That's I want to actually ask for our listeners because I know a lot of us struggle with putting a routine together, you know, that really works for us.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: And sometimes, you know, we love to go the extra mile.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: I love my 10 products, I'm not gonna lie, especially at night.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Like I literally I have a whole ordeal.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: I'm different though.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm I'm a freak.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: But like most of us, most of us, like two to three steps, right?
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: That's usually our kind of go-to.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: So if um Marvey, maybe you could help us with this.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: If you were to recommend out of the range, you know, for someone who just wants daily maintenance skincare, what are some great products for them to consider, you know, getting from the range?
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: So actually, we have a perfect trio uh that's why um in our collagen restorange.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: So it consists of um our skin oil, which is um restoring skin oil, which is um which has an instant lifting active inside.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: So if you need something to um make yourself feel good, and um if you are going somewhere that you need to hide your wrinkles, it will work so well.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: But of course, on the other side, um as an um nighttime finishing routine, it will really, really um help uh your skin to uh feel relaxed and uh replenish itself.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: And we have our farming day cream and nourishing night cream in uh in our trio as well.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: So basically um day cream is for day, and also it has natural ceramite identical um ingredients inside, so it will help to replenish your skin barrier.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: And in our night cream, we have um really high active ingredients to actually um help to harm your skin and of course restore your skin.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: And of course, every s I think every skincare routine is should be simple enough to clean your skin, um, moisturize and treat.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: So treatment you can choose by your uh complexation.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Uh to be honest, so if you have um issues with pigmentation, you can go for the vitamin C serum.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: But if you want um just a subtle skin that is really healthy and glowing, I would definitely recommend the um restoring skin oil and of course moisturize, don't forget to moisturize, it's really important.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: And and that's it.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: That's I mean, that's the perfect routine.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: And I one more question I do have is what about if you are layering the Manuka RX products with you know, like your favorite retinol or maybe a prescription, it's all is it safe to uh have the oil, you know, manuka oil is safe for with all of those kind of things as well.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: Um definitely and maybe something in the pipeline might be the following set.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited for everyone to actually discover the line because I really, really love it, and I'm you know, I'm I'm a huge fan of anything that is truly rooted in good green beauty, you know, if if uh you know everyone knows what I'm talking about, like just truly like botanicals, herbs, using nature, right, in the best way possible, but then bringing that chemistry in.
