- 0:00SPEAKER_03: Thick fog now, 76, believe it or not, later today.
- 0:04SPEAKER_03: Oh really?
- 0:04SPEAKER_03: A little bit of a warm-up, a little bit.
- 0:06SPEAKER_03: I mean, I will we see much sun?
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: Who knows?
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: This has been the longest living Nor'easter side effects I've ever seen in my life.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: You know what I did do today, though, and I know it's not October yet, but I'm just slipping into the Halloween season.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: I wore my bat earrings.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Do you see them?
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: They look like little coffins with bats inside.
- 0:24unknown: Uh lighting and all that.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: No, I'll have to get closer later.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: That's okay.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: Maybe I won't with what you got going on there.
- 0:29SPEAKER_03: I'll just take your word for it.
- 0:31SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Stay far over there because I did get one of our coworkers sick, and I feel really bad about it.
- 0:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and if you know, they say that you really never can get over a cold till you give it to someone else.
- 0:39SPEAKER_03: So I'm kind of glad you gave it to her.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: Although our GM had the funniest expression for describing Cooper yesterday.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Cooper's the one I got sick.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: She was like, we were working really close together at the Dolly party, which I know is exactly why she got sick.
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: Well, he goes to her, he goes, Watch out, she's a little stabby today.
- 0:57SPEAKER_03: And I called her stabby all the rest of the day yesterday.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: She probably kind of liked it.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: I I kind of love the line stabby.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: And I've apologized to her a thousand times because I feel really bad that I gave it to her because she was so helpful at the Dolly party.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: It's inevitable.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: She's the only one that stayed and helped clean up, despite the fact that somebody said, Ah, well, Zach's here, he'll help Allie.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, well, no, that's not his job.
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: That's nice that somebody uh volunteered somebody that doesn't work here to do something.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: Good for you.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Good for you.
- 1:29SPEAKER_03: Use that as an acronym.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: Take the letters.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: So Cooper helps clean up and then I get her sick.
- 1:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, way to be.
- 1:36SPEAKER_03: 2851.
- 1:37SPEAKER_03: Back real quick.
- 1:38SPEAKER_03: I want to wrap up this whole thing.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: Is it a real or fake diamond?
- 1:40SPEAKER_03: And you were saying you wanted to, in your soul, you wanted to ask your girlfriend who you don't see that often.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: No, I haven't seen her in three years.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: Then that's a hard no.
- 1:50SPEAKER_03: You do not ask.
- 1:51SPEAKER_03: You just go on through life thinking to yourself, yeah, fake.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: Um, but uh this one came from 2851.
- 1:58SPEAKER_03: When I went uh when I went to get size last year, okay, they went to the uh Zales and uh the lady said lab grown are on the rise over regular diamonds.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: Lab grown, still diamonds, but cheaper.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: Okay I've heard the exact same thing from uh other places.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: I like this one too from Shan.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: When my niece got engaged, she got a white sapphire set in platinum, gorgeous and huge.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I would never have known it.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: Huge.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: I would have never known it wasn't a diamond if she hadn't told me.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: Okay, well, that's a relative that would just come right out and tell you in natural conversation, not you.
- 2:30SPEAKER_03: So I'm just telling people.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: The funny thing is, I don't even care that it's a diamond or not.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: I'm just so freaking nosy that I can't help myself.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: Speaking of slugs of guys, Chris and Britney texted.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: Uh, good everyone marking 14 years with my husband, married for eight of them so far.
- 2:50SPEAKER_03: I honestly thought when I was gonna read the text, Chris and Britney, which I would imagine this is Britney, not Chris, that uh is texting.
- 2:57SPEAKER_03: I thought you were gonna say 14 years with my husband, and four have been good.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's where the slug comment came from.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: I thought that was gonna be the joke.
- 3:05SPEAKER_03: But hold on, there's one more thing.
- 3:07SPEAKER_03: I gotta scroll way down because I don't want you to think that you were forgotten, pony Joe.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: Good, everyone.
- 3:12SPEAKER_03: It's my friend Connie.
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: We have to do it.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Connie.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Canny.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Can he love a Connie?
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: I have an Aunt Connie.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: It's uh Connie's son's birthday today, and uh he's out uh oh, he's out of the single digits.
- 3:25SPEAKER_03: Oh, he's 10 today.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: Yes, and his name is Aaron.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: It's pronounced like saying the letter R, then Ren.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Aaron.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: R Ren.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Aren?
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Arn.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Aaron.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Arn.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: Arn.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: R.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Arn.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Aaron.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Arn.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Oh, you know what?
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: This is our birthday song.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: It isn't very long.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: So your name's kind of like Ern, like what you put ashes in.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Arn.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Arn?
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: Arn Arn.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: Arn Arn.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: Arn.
- 3:51SPEAKER_03: Aren't it time for us to move on?
- 3:53SPEAKER_03: Yes, please.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: Can we?
- 3:55SPEAKER_03: Alright, let me give you this then.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: Let me make sure that we set it up right.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Got extra weight that you just dread.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: GLP one can help you shed.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, zap it wake up Monjaro 2.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Look at you, you're almost brand new.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: But wait, there's more.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: There's something you'll find.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: You might look better, but you're going blind.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Lose the weight, look great.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Just squint and get nearer because you might miss yourself in the mirror.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Woo!
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: So my dad has lost 80 pounds on a GLP one.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: And he has had the weirdest side effect that I've never heard before.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: They are called skinny ears.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: And what happens is you have a little flapper in your ear.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Well, apparently, those can get fat with you.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: And right?
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So then Hey, fat ears! When you put down When you lose all this weight, my dad says the the the flap kind of just like blah blah blah blah blah.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: It flaps.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: The flap gets flappier.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: There it is.
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: There it is.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: So it starts to kind of close up the ear hole.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: My dad said it felt like an ear hole.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: My dad said it sounded like he was underwater.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: So when he went into the doctor has hearing problems anyway, so this is the worst man to describe this.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: He does, he does.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: So he just he thought, okay, maybe that's what it was.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: But then he goes into the doctor and they said this is they've found this has become a side effect of GLP1s.
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: Along with going blind.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Well, okay, that too.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Along with getting a flat butt.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's many, many side effects.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: But this is working great for everyone.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Does my dad look fantastic?
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: He actually does.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: He just went to his 50th high school reunion, and I'm sure all the ladies from the graduate graduating class of 1976 were all over him.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: But anyway.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: I'm sure your mom was thrilled about that.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, she didn't go.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: So that's a that's another story.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: That's another story for another day.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: We'll get there.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: Anyway, so he has to put some like he has to shoot something in his ears.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: I think it's like a saline or something to try to like puff him up.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: I'm not really sure.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Remember the puff up tennis shoes back in the day?
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: The old yeah, the Nike pumps.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: So my dad has to pump his ears.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 6:03unknown: Wow.
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: I just love the idea of calling someone, hey, fat ears.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:08SPEAKER_03: Do I have fat ears?
- 6:09SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
- 6:10SPEAKER_03: Now I'm self-conscious.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Well, you don't hear anything I say, so I'm gonna answer yes.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: What?
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: So now wait a minute though.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: Okay, so that's your dad's side effects.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 6:19SPEAKER_03: You gotta read the text that came in uh that we have about uh uh about this kid in a GLP one.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Okay, so that's oh my god, I forgot about that too.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: So I'm watching my neighbor's kid.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: We're a close neighbor.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: Hold on, I gotta cough.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: Why don't I start again?
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: I'm watching my neighbor's I'm watching my neighbor's kid.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: We're a close neighborhood, and my neighbors across the street had to leave out of town for a few days for a funeral.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: It was an aunt, and they didn't want their kid to miss school for a relative.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: They didn't really know.
- 6:50SPEAKER_03: Okay, I get that.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: I have no problem with that, but I have to give this kid a shot for a GLP one, and for some reason it's really bothering me.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: This kid is only 12 and already on a GLP one.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: Can I tell my neighbor, no, I'm not giving him the drug?
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll watch your kid, but I don't subscribe to GLP 1s and I'm not comfortable with giving him a shot.
- 7:09SPEAKER_03: Well, is it not subscribing to a GLP 1 for a 12-year-old or just in general?
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: It sounds like they said this kid is only 12 and already on a GLP one.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: Okay, so they're aiming this to the 12-year-old.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, more so than just they don't personally their feelings of GLP ones, I guess, that really are aimed more at the 12-year-old.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 7:30SPEAKER_03: So can they tell their neighbor, no, I'm not giving him the drug that he's been on for a very regular basis, it sounds like I mean, I suppose you could say no, but uh I mean, because it doesn't sound like it's gonna be that long of a trip out of town.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Would you be comfortable giving one of Gavin's friends like because Gavin's around the age of 12, right?
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: Isn't he?
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: So would you be comfortable giving, you know, Joshua a shot?
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: No.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: That's the weird part to me.
- 7:57SPEAKER_03: Here's the thing.
- 7:58SPEAKER_03: I uh okay.
- 8:00SPEAKER_03: It now you have to look at it like this.
- 8:02SPEAKER_03: If the kid actually had type one diabetes and needed daily insulin and that required shots, I suppose we would have had the conversation if I was watching Joshua with his parents going, what do I have to do for the three days you're gone?
- 8:14SPEAKER_03: You know, take me right through the process because I don't want to mess it up.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: You know, you know, that you wouldn't want that to happen.
- 8:20SPEAKER_03: So that's a little different though.
- 8:22SPEAKER_03: That I'm having a hard time with this one.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: Uh before I give you my answer, you guys text, are you uh would you would you potentially tell your your your friends?
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: I mean, let's you guys are friends enough.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: You you're you're not gonna give your twelve year old the GLP one while you're out of town, you don't agree with it.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: Would you do that or would you just go with it and suck it up, even though it's against what you quote and subscribe to?
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: You have feelings about it.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: What do you think?
