- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, Ron, good morning.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Hi, good morning.
- 0:02Speaker 1: I understand you have a situation you need to run.
- 0:04Speaker 3: By us, yes?
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well, you know, I heard a little thing about do
- 0:10Speaker 2: you consider it cheating or not, that whole conversation, and
- 0:14Speaker 2: I have a pretty good story about that and what
- 0:17Speaker 2: I think cheating is.
- 0:18Speaker 4: You were talking about the other day, we were talking
- 0:19Speaker 4: about is it cheating like if you text with a
- 0:22Speaker 4: co-worker late at night, or is it cheating if you
- 0:26Speaker 4: send sexy emojis back and forth, that kind of thing, right?
- 0:29Speaker 2: No, it's, uh, today I was cheating if, say, a
- 0:32Speaker 2: girl kisses another girl, your wife kisses another female, or
- 0:35Speaker 2: something like this, right?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I consider cheating, uh, anything that they do that's outside
- 0:41Speaker 2: of your knowledge kind of deal.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Um, we had a party, and I have a bar
- 0:46Speaker 2: in my basement, and I have a pool table and
- 0:48Speaker 2: an air hockey table and a foosball table, and one
- 0:52Speaker 2: night we had this huge party. I don't even know
- 0:54Speaker 2: what the party was for, but next thing I know,
- 0:56Speaker 2: this gal takes her shirt off, right?
- 0:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Rips my wife's shirt off and they're laying on the
- 1:02Speaker 2: floor and they're kind of making out and stuff. To me,
- 1:06Speaker 2: I didn't consider that cheating. Well, I didn't consider it
- 1:09Speaker 2: cheating because I was there and I watched the whole thing.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I wasn't doing anything behind my back.
- 1:13Speaker 1: That's how I play foosball. Okay.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So, no, this is crazy. So, next thing I know,
- 1:20Speaker 2: this gal and her husband were there and they She
- 1:24Speaker 2: took all her clothes off, and she sits on my
- 1:27Speaker 2: pool table and puts one leg down one rail and
- 1:29Speaker 2: one leg down the other, right? Completely naked. And my
- 1:32Speaker 2: wife looks up, and she's trying to shoot pool. She's like, oh,
- 1:35Speaker 2: my God. She goes, what am I supposed to do
- 1:37Speaker 2: with this? And I go, you can so make that.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I said, that's an easy shot. That's a big right there. Okay.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And I was in so much trouble. But the night
- 1:48Speaker 2: goes on a little bit more, right? And we're trying
- 1:50Speaker 2: to get her dressed and not knowing that they're swingers
- 1:53Speaker 2: by nature.
- 1:54Speaker 3: You did not pick up on that. By nature.
- 1:56Speaker 2: We didn't pick up on that immediately because I'm the
- 1:59Speaker 2: soccer coach. I was the coach of their son's soccer team.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So that's how we became friends anyways. But, man, this
- 2:07Speaker 2: woman was out of control. So my wife drinks a
- 2:10Speaker 2: little bit too much. And her husband says, oh, you
- 2:13Speaker 2: can go ahead and get with Ron. My wife drank
- 2:17Speaker 2: and went to bed and left me alone with these people, right?
- 2:20Speaker 2: And I'm trying to get everyone out of my house,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and they're the only ones left. And pretty soon, the
- 2:26Speaker 2: music's still playing, and she was fully dressed. Next thing
- 2:28Speaker 2: I know, she's naked again. She's stripped off all her
- 2:30Speaker 2: clothes again, you know? And he's like, you can go
- 2:34Speaker 2: ahead and get with Ron. And she goes, why don't
- 2:36Speaker 2: you go up and get with her? And he goes, no,
- 2:39Speaker 2: she's had too much to drink and whatever, whatever. And
- 2:40Speaker 2: I'm like, no, that's not an option. You know, I mean,
- 2:43Speaker 2: you didn't ask me. You guys are making decisions here.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So now I got this naked gal pressing up against
- 2:49Speaker 2: me and I'm against the wall. And I'm like, I'm
- 2:52Speaker 2: your son's soccer coach. You can't be doing this to
- 2:55Speaker 2: me right now. You guys need to go home. And
- 2:58Speaker 2: next morning, I say this night, finally, I get through
- 3:00Speaker 2: this night and there was no cheating on my part.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I mean, I watched my wife and her kiss and
- 3:05Speaker 2: stuff on, you know, before we played pool and everything.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But the next morning we're cleaning house, right? And my
- 3:12Speaker 2: wife picks up this pair of panties and says, what
- 3:15Speaker 2: the hell are these? And I go, that is your
- 3:18Speaker 2: fault right there. I did nothing wrong. I said she
- 3:23Speaker 2: kept taking her clothes off. I couldn't keep her dressed.
- 3:26Speaker 2: And she kept messing up against me, and I couldn't
- 3:28Speaker 2: get him to go home.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Are you saying she's mad at you? Because she was
- 3:33Speaker 1: there when it happened, and then she went to bed, right?
- 3:35Speaker 1: So there's a lot to unpack with your story. But
- 3:37Speaker 1: it's funny because what this reminds.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Me of is– an extreme version of something Kyle brought
- 3:43Speaker 4: up the other day, right?
- 3:45Speaker 1: You probably don't know where I'm going.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Do you know.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Where I'm going? Try to make friends as an adult,
- 3:51Speaker 1: because he's, he's a soccer coach of their, so you
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't know these people. So you're, you're the soccer coach
- 3:58Speaker 1: with these kids. So how does it happen where you
- 4:00Speaker 1: get invited to a party? You're, you're their new friends.
- 4:03Speaker 4: And Kyle was like, you know, who's bringing the lawn chairs?
- 4:06Speaker 1: How do you make friends with someone at a party?
- 4:07Speaker 1: This is an extreme version of that, right?
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'm the soccer coach, right? And they kept asking me.
- 4:12Speaker 2: They call me at home sometimes and say, why is
- 4:14Speaker 2: my son so tired today? And I go, because this
- 4:16Speaker 2: is soccer. This isn't golf. You know, we run. We
- 4:20Speaker 2: run laps and we do stuff. And we were really good.
- 4:24Speaker 2: We were a premier team. They had to try out
- 4:26Speaker 2: to play for me. Then all of a sudden, all
- 4:27Speaker 2: these moms... I'm like this amazing guy, you know, and
- 4:31Speaker 2: all these moms are after me.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh, no.
- 4:34Speaker 1: At the foosball table. No, I brought it.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Up because my son started on a new baseball team,
- 4:39Speaker 6: and we don't know anybody. And it's like in the past,
- 4:42Speaker 6: we've gotten to know all the players and parents and
- 4:45Speaker 6: all the teammates and stuff like that. And it's like after, like,
- 4:49Speaker 6: and I think down the road, after sports goes away, like,
- 4:52Speaker 6: how do you make friends as an adult? Because it's, like,
- 4:54Speaker 6: usually easy to make friends with kids.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Well, I think she's going to get a pool table
- 4:57Speaker 3: in the basement.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't feel like.
- 4:59Speaker 3: You do make friends as adults.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Like, you just keep the same ones. A foosball table
- 5:03Speaker 2: and an air hockey table.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. I forgot about the trifecta and the
- 5:07Speaker 1: air hockey table.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Okay.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Clothes come off and friendships are made.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Yeah, buddy.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 2: You know what? I'm a foosball player. That's my favorite
- 5:17Speaker 2: game in the world.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Spinning?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Do you spin? No, I do not. There's a rule
- 5:21Speaker 2: to that. You only get one and a half spins,
- 5:23Speaker 2: so you have to control your ball and control your man.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Well, you did that night, and I'm proud of you.
- 5:28Speaker 1: All right, Ron.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Listen, let's just end it here. I don't think we
- 5:32Speaker 1: can go. I mean, there's just enough in the topic.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I'll tell you.
- 5:34Speaker 2: That I forgot.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You forgot what?
- 5:38Speaker 2: We were all drinking, and, I mean, there was no
- 5:41Speaker 2: physical touching from me. Right. If you have a good coach,
- 5:45Speaker 2: and I don't care who you are, for some reason,
- 5:47Speaker 2: I think... that parents fall in love with you.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I've had some good coaches coach my kids. I did
- 5:53Speaker 3: not fall in love with them.
- 5:54Speaker 5: I've got to say, though, like, who are you hanging
- 5:57Speaker 5: out with? That is, like, a legitimate fear, though. Like,
- 6:00Speaker 5: for me, right, I am a new wife, and my
- 6:03Speaker 5: husband is a basketball coach, and I legit have nightmares
- 6:07Speaker 5: about his players, like, moms trying to get at him.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Well, don't let him get a foosball table.
- 6:11Speaker 2: That's exactly what I'm talking about.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Maybe that's a whole thing. All right, Ron. Maybe that's
- 6:16Speaker 1: the story we should be following. That is the one.
- 6:18Speaker 1: We're going to have to check in with you every
- 6:20Speaker 1: once in a while. Can we get your number, Ron?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Can we get your number?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah. You can check in with me anytime you want.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Coach Ron.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Ron, Ron.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Coach Ron.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Ron Lasso. This never happened in Ted Lasso's show.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Hold on, Ron. A lot of episodes I saw. Hold on.
