  Ask any aeronautical engineer what the hardest part of getting an airplane to fly is.

  Without fail, they will tell you it is getting it up off the ground.

  The toughest part requires finding
• 1:15
  enough strength to overcome the forces pushing the plane to the ground.
• 1:19
  Gravity has a heavy hold on the plane, but through the power of a greater force
• 1:23
  called thrust, the plane pushes through the opposition to move easily through
• 1:28
  the air. So it is with the Christian.
• 1:31
  You have a formidable foe to fight. This foe is the devil.
• 1:35
  He is the prince and the power of the air, so he has a heavy hand with which to fight.
• 1:41
  But just as the airplane overcomes its opposition by possessing a greater power,
• 1:47
  you too can overcome the devil by possessing the matchless power of Jesus in your life.

  Well Ministries takes us through Psalms 31, which says,

  I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast lifted me up and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

  Hello and welcome to this broadcast of Woman at the Well Ministries.

  And when we think about the wind beneath our wings, I
• 2:16
  think it's incredibly important for you to realize
• 2:19
  that everything you do you do
• 2:23
  because of the grace and mercy
• 2:27
  and love of Jesus Christ he empowers
• 2:30
  us to accomplish everything that
• 2:34
  we accomplish and he is the
• 2:37
  wind beneath our wings the Bible
• 2:40
  says that the devil walketh about as a roaring
• 2:43
  lion seeking whom he may devour and then
• 2:46
  he tells us that greater is he that is in us than
• 2:50
  he that is in the world the devil wants nothing
• 2:53
  more than to irritate you aggravate you
• 2:56
  ruin your witness and cause you to lose
• 2:59
  your faith in christ but the devil will
• 3:02
  never defeat you you must give
• 3:05
  up the battle to him if he is going to win because jesus has never lost a battle
• 3:12
  and he lives inside of you and he He gives you what you need to overcome anything
• 3:19
  the devil would pass by you, through you, or at you.
• 3:23
  In fact, the Bible says that there's no temptation that is common to man that
• 3:31
  he has not offered you a way of escape.
• 3:35
  And so with every temptation that comes, God gives us the way to avoid it and to have victory over it.
• 3:44
  With every battle that comes into our life, if we just allow Christ to fight
• 3:49
  that battle, then we will be victorious just like little David was when he understood
• 3:55
  that he didn't need the armor of the world to fight.
• 3:59
  He only needed what God had instructed him and what God told him to do.
• 4:03
  What a lesson that each of us could learn from little David.
• 4:08
  If we would just realize it's not ourselves that we need to trust and rely upon.
• 4:12
  It certainly isn't the fixes that the world would tell you is right.
• 4:16
  It's not the logic of the world.
• 4:19
  But it is the spiritual guidance of God.
• 4:23
  The blessings and the way that
• 4:26
  he supplies what we need. And our complete trust and reliance upon him.
• 4:31
  That will allow us to win our battles. Because the battles are not ours. They belong to the Lord.
• 4:36
  That's what little David said. And taught us.
• 4:39
  Through the events in his life. It's that allowed him to slay the giant in his life.
• 4:43
  You see, you may be facing...
• 4:47
  A scary, big battle. You may find yourself in a situation that you have no idea
• 4:55
  how you've gotten there or certainly whatever choices you made,
• 5:00
  you had no idea it was going to land you where you are.
• 5:03
  And you really feel like you're sinking.
• 5:05
  But if you'll just stop for a minute and be still and know that he is God.
• 5:12
  When he says be still
• 5:15
  and know that I am God what he's
• 5:19
  telling you is to place your faith in him what
• 5:22
  he's saying is to stop for a
• 5:25
  minute and realize who he is
• 5:28
  and whatever you're going through right now
• 5:31
  perhaps you need to just stop and realize who God is who God is in your life
• 5:40
  and reflect upon the fact that he is still God and all things are under his
• 5:46
  feet and he is in control.
• 5:49
  And then as you do that, you need to realize that God says that we are to come
• 5:56
  to him with our burdens and we're to cast our cares upon him because he cares for us.

  And we need to do business with the Lord.
• 6:07
  Talking to him about the things that are troubling us
• 6:10
  and hurting us telling him about the things that are
• 6:13
  in our life not because he doesn't know but
• 6:17
  because he requires us to have faith in him and to place our trust in him and
• 6:24
  when we call upon him we are showing our faith and trust that he will take care
• 6:30
  of us is taking care of us and is supplying our every need The Bible says in Jeremiah 33,
• 6:37
  3, to call upon the Lord and he will answer thee and show thee great and mighty
• 6:41
  things which thou knowest not.
• 6:43
  In Matthew chapter 7 and verse 7, he says, ask and ye shall receive,
• 6:48
  seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be added, opened unto you.
• 6:54
  The Bible tells us in Hebrews chapter 4 to come boldly through the throne of.
• 6:59
  God that we may obtain help in time of need and trouble.
• 7:03
  The psalmist David explains that it's the Lord from which we get our help.
• 7:08
  And all through the scriptures, we are assured to turn to him.
• 7:12
  Because when you think you can't go any further, when you feel like you're just living in the valley,
• 7:19
  the strength and grace and mercy and
• 7:22
  love of an almighty God will come in and swoop
• 7:25
  under you and pick you up and begin to lift you
• 7:28
  high above your problems to lift you high above
• 7:31
  your troubles to allow you to have victory
• 7:34
  over those things that at one point seemed like
• 7:37
  they were going to consume you but as soon as you
• 7:40
  allow God to have control and you
• 7:42
  begin to follow what he says in his holy word you
• 7:45
  begin to follow what he tells you as you're praying and
• 7:49
  trusting in him then you'll find a
• 7:51
  peace that passeth understanding and a
• 7:54
  joy unspeakable and full of
• 7:57
  glory the devil may be walking about
• 8:00
  as a roaring lion but i submit to you
• 8:03
  that daniel laid harmless in
• 8:08
  the lion's den as the lord shut the lion's
• 8:11
  mouth he'll do the same for you see troubles are going to come our way we don't
• 8:17
  belong in this world jesus had plenty of troubles as he walked around her here
• 8:22
  the world doesn't like us but i've got good news the god god that we serve is greater than the world.
• 8:30
  The God that we serve is greater than any problem that you have.
• 8:34
  The God that we serve cares about us.
• 8:41
  And the victory we need against Satan and the powers of this earth lies within us.
• 8:48
  Do you realize that the power within you is the same power that spoke the world into existence?
• 8:56
  It's the same power that tells the sun when to shine, tells the moon how to
• 9:01
  reflect off of the sun as the sun goes down, places the stars in the sky,
• 9:08
  breathes life into people,
• 9:11
  watches the worlds, holds them in perfect gravitational pull so that we don't
• 9:18
  get sucked into the sun or pulled away, but have perfect balance.
• 9:23
  Sees to it that we have the exact amount of oxygen that we need and balances
• 9:28
  that equation when no scientist can tell you how that happens.

  I know how it happens.
• 9:36
  Jesus provides what it takes to balance so that we don't burn up.
• 9:43
  Jesus is all-powerful. And the Bible says in Ephesians 3.20 that we can do according
• 9:50
  to the power that works in us, exceedingly abundantly above all that we ever ask or think.
• 9:55
  You see, so many of us live below our means.
• 10:01
  Oh, I'm not talking about earthly goods and perhaps finances.
• 10:05
  A lot of people in America, especially today, live above their means.
• 10:09
  I'm talking about spiritually.
• 10:12
  We could be soaring like eagles across our problems, above our troubles.
• 10:21
  We can soar with majesty and honor as we bring glory to the King of kings and
• 10:28
  the Lord of lords in our lives.
• 10:30
  As we allow him to swoop in and lift us high.
• 10:36
  As we lift him and exalt him.
• 10:40
  But so many of us hand the devil the victory by just choosing not to trust and
• 10:49
  put our faith in the Lord.
• 10:51
  But in this passage in Psalm chapter 30 and verse 1, the psalmist David is saying
• 10:56
  he's going to praise the Lord.
• 10:58
  Because he realizes he's lifted him up and he's allowed him to have victory
• 11:03
  over his foes. and he's not allowed his foes to rejoice over him.
• 11:12
  But instead, he can have joy in the midst of the storm because the peace of God rules in his heart.
• 11:20
  There is wind beneath our wings that will never be exhausted.
• 11:24
  And we need to discipline ourselves to come to the Lord in prayer,
• 11:29
  not just in time of trouble, but all the time. He says to pray without ceasing.
• 11:35
  That we might be able to live the life that he has planned for us and that we
• 11:42
  can have amazing joy in good times and amazing peace and joy even in the bad
• 11:47
  times because our joy and our peace isn't based upon our circumstances,
• 11:52
  but it's based upon the surety of God and the faith that we have that God is
• 11:57
  watching over us. He's supplying our need.

  He is taking care of us because he loves us and his mercy and his grace endureth forever.
• 12:07
  He's the wind beneath your wings. And if right now you're feeling a little down
• 12:11
  and you're feeling a little low,
• 12:13
  I encourage you to go to the Lord in prayer, to call upon him and to begin to praise him for who he is,
• 12:20
  that you might remind yourself of the God he is and the relationship you have
• 12:25
  with him and how he is all in all and how he watches over you and is taking care of you,
• 12:31
  that you might understand once again the joy of your salvation,
• 12:35
  that you may be able to be lifted as eagles and soar above the problems.
• 12:41
  For his wind will never cease, and his love for you will never be compared to anything else.
• 12:49
  Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.
