Today, let's go somewhere a little more relaxing. Luna: Ooh, I could use some relaxation. Where to? Lucas: A park. A nice, peaceful park. We'll learn some vocabulary for things you might see there. Luna: Perfect. I love walking in parks, especially when there are benches to sit on. Lucas: Good, because our first word is exactly that: 'el banco'. The bench. Luna: El banco. So if I want to sit down, I look for el banco. Lucas: Exactly. El banco. Let's say it together: el banco. Luna: El banco. Lucas: Now, next to the bench, you might see... el árbol. The tree. Luna: El árbol. That's a pretty word. El árbol. Lucas: Good. And there's usually a path to walk on. That's 'el camino'. The path. Luna: El camino. So I follow el camino to get to el banco under el árbol. Lucas: You're already making sentences! And along the path, you might see... la flor. The flower. Luna: La flor. Pretty flowers. Lucas: And if you look up, maybe you'll see el pájaro. The bird. Luna: El pájaro. I love hearing birds sing. Lucas: Let's practice those all together. Repeat after me: el banco, el árbol, el camino, la flor, el pájaro. Luna: El banco, el árbol, el camino, la flor, el pájaro. Lucas: You've got them. I walk on the path. Luna: Camino por el camino. That's fun to say! Lucas: And to sit on the bench: 'Me siento en el banco.' I sit on the bench. Luna: Me siento en el banco. Lucas: And if you see a flower: 'Huelo la flor.' I smell the flower. Luna: Huelo la flor. Lovely. Lucas: Now let's do a quick review. What's bench? Luna: El banco. Lucas: Tree? Luna: El árbol.
