- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest mistake new people make when creating content online is creating content with an expectation that they have to keep up.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: You actually don't keep up.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of just find your way of showing up.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: Attention used to be the new oil without AI.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now with AI authenticity.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: is the new.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: Long-term consistency leads to indirect opportunity.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: You actually can't want to fight or fathom the result or the effect of the doing the thing that you're supposed to do.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: You referenced a video I posted 13 years ago on a podcast.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: So now my name is being brought up in rooms I'm not in.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's a personal brand.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: What are people saying when you're not in the room?
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: There are millions of people out there waiting for you.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: to make the decision to go all in and yourself.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Decisions beat intentions eight days out of the week.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Make the video.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: To like what did it take from you to become this version of yourself that you are today, in clarity, in purpose, in authenticity.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: What a question.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: The simple answer is
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: Omar, social media looks completely different than it did three years ago, five years ago, 10 years ago, things are changing.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody knows what to do.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like her moses putting out 500 pieces of content a week.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: What does the average person supposed to do to keep up with that level of content production?
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: The average person doesn't compare themselves to Alex Hermosie.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: My formula for getting people to unlock what I like to call infinite content is actually finding your way of showing up consistently.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: I like to call my content strategy, which I would love people to tap into.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like the Adele and Kendrick Lamar strategy.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: They at release something and then they kind of create space for the something they just release to be consumed and devoured and repeated and consumed and consumed.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather have people watch my stuff over and over than have me having to keep up.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I say find your flow based on platform, your flow might be in your car.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: Your flow might be have a conversation and film it.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's just one angle.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Your flow might be no camera's All audio turned that into carousel iPhone image posts.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: So How does somebody keep up?
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: You actually don't keep up.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of just find your way of showing up And that would be what I would tell somebody who's starting out brand new 2026
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and so what's the thing that stops people from even getting started?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest thing that stops people from getting started, hosting content, is perfection paralysis.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even overthinking.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's thinking that the way to do something right out the gate, that in your mind, and it's a very internal projection we often do when we're trying to do something that's resonating with us, like, I'm a dream to do this.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: I have a dream to build an online business.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: I have a dream to build an audience and help this demographic of human beings excel in this area or shorten the path of success here.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the algorithms aren't even rewarding.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: Perfectionism.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: My business coach, Miren Golden, he said something so brilliant a few weeks ago, we were doing a live event together and he said, with AI, attention used to be the new oil.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Alex Hermosie would have said.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: Without AI.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now with AI, authenticity is the new oil.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: So the goal is actually, how do you find ways to show up more you?
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes not editing it is more you.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes doing the lunch and learn in your local city and having four people show up and you teaching something.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: just human a human like and then you make sure that gets captured and that with a smartphone and that kind of that's like whoa this person's really connecting you know I'm doing a lot you do live podcasting Caleb Ross in a friend of mine who used to work for Alex
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's saying this line.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: He said the future of online courses is in person workshops.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, but it's true.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: If you can have a repeatable way of delivering an information or a framework or a curriculum, just do it in person, because with information being so devalued, the goal is to be authentic.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: So if you think an edited version of you is a more perfect way of showing up, I would argue you're just going to find yourself creating an expectation for an audience that isn't getting the really you to begin with.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'd rather start off raw than start off polished.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so my approach with our podcast has always been, let's not put the subscribe buttons and the title screens and the this and the that.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just literally have a good quality video and audio set up and just switch back and forth between his talking.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: So like my podcast really broke is it is not heavily edited.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: There are very few times where we'll do those like cinematic intros like you did on this podcast but as far as when the conversation starts there's there's not really much manipulation here.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's just let it flow and I'm a fan of that.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I want people to know me from my essence the biggest mistake new people make when creating content online is creating content with an expectation that they have to keep up with.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: every eight seconds, got something's got to change on screen or not.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: Or you can get so good at communicating and articulating your expertise where you can grab people in and make people wonder, wow, this person's obsessed with the thing I have a problem with.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: So how did you get so good at doing exactly what you just said?
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Or articulating your ideas, focusing on your purpose, being authentic because I just watched
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: your video of you 13 years ago when you started in your car of you talking to camera and you look and I was 13 years ago so you're going to look different but the way you speak the confidence who you are completely different and going through my own journey I know that it's not just you grew up so like what did it take from you to become this version
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: Man, what a question?
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: The simple answer is, I have a relationship with my God.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: This is some, like, I know who I am because I know who's I am.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And when you know who you are, fear, it's called the fear of man, the fear to perform or the desire to prove yourself,
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, there's no one to prove.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: I actually lost my father last year unexpectedly and for a man to man, we are looking for a man to prove ourselves to.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes that's an audience.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes that's actual fathers or a father figure.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: But when you, and this conversation could go there, I'm down to go there.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: But when you find your identity and who God says you are and you find your identity in Christ,
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: They say, Confidence comes from competence.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if I know my creator, and I know who I am, and I know what he's called me to do, then I'm gonna start operating in confidence because I have no one else to prove.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've already been accepted, I've already been logged in.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's kind of my, that's, that's probably why, you know, what people are seeing as they're seeing fruit of a daily walk with God, spending 15 minutes a day in the scriptures, uh, prioritizing my marriage over any other relationship.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: And, uh, we, I got married young that grows you up quick.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but the, what people are seeing is just simply an, an obedient human being to his creator.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: And over time, it starts to look very attractive.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, people want somebody who's secure and who they are.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: People want somebody who is stewarding their gifts really well.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: People, this is what we get the thought, we get the concept of a thought leader.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: You get somebody who actually carries out and thought before you do, you know, and, um,
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so yeah, I'm just a product of somebody stewarding what God's given me and what He's called me to do.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: And if God's given you something and your inability to communicate the gift God's given you is standing in the way that I've got to do whatever I can to get really good at communicating.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been attending church, I've been a church builder for 13 years, 14 years.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: and sitting under great communication on a week-to-week basis, you only get good just as a by-product of that.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can ask anybody who's in the realm of communication that no one is a naturally born good communicator.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: It is a skill that must be developed.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: And when you start to open yourself up to the art and science of communication, you realize that it's not just what you're saying, it's how you're saying it.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's having pauses.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's letting people lean in and it's changing your inflection.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, but I'm a professional yapper, but yeah, I just, I feel like God's just given and then really good to me, so I give him the glory for that.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: Was there a moment in the 13 years where this is like, God is speaking to me?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: And are you okay speaking on like, I'm okay with doing whatever you want to do, but yeah.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: And just like, you know, because there's people and I like, you know, I don't believe in God, but like something's out.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, I'm feeling called to a higher power for sure in this.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that, like, so some people out there are like, yeah, Cassidy, you just are on a podcast and you've got a microphone, but truly, I believe.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: I believe in inside of you that is unexplainable.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't it funny that there's literally a scripture that says, God has woven eternity in our hearts.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: We've all heard the story of the people that have accomplished everything in life and have still felt empty.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: So we're on a pursuit for our entire life to find.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: the meaning of why we exist because because our creator put it inside of us.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's why there's actually no actual tangible thing that will fulfill you because you'll find that out.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's just it's momentary.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: If you do anything that they call it missing the mark, like they call it sending in the Bible, but if you miss the mark, it feels good in the moment, but you have that regret and that remorse.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's because we're spiritual beings, but yeah, I didn't.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: I unpack whatever you want.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: living the path that I was living and was going to regret not having pursued this and actually it was it was damn our tell that like planted this thought in my head or this feeling of like your desire was placed there for you right my desire to do this what I didn't just come up with it on my own I
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: Not everybody wants to do what I'm doing.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody has a unique purpose in this world.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: And when I fast forward and I've heard the stories, the physical things will never make you happy.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, you hear these things and they're like, okay, there's something to this.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: I have to believe this and so what does that mean?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: It means that I have to live out my true purpose.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's what that means because only then will I be fulfilled.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: Only then will I feel like I've given the world and myself, the gift that I've been given and that I meant to give to the wind.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: the perfectly articulated.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: I would say most people probably listening or watching this, feel that.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's why they consume content like ours.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's because they know there's something more out there.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue to any theologian.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: that if you have a desire in your heart that exceeds the impact on just you, it goes beyond you, I would actually say that came from God.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: Because why would the devil want you to do something good and put out great information?
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like I would just say that might be a God desire.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now, everyone's on our journey and everyone kind of, you see your life, I was at a dinner with a brilliant communicator, his name's Irwin McMannis and my friend Neil Dingra and we were having dinner and Neil, he's been coming to church and I've been praying for him and I've been a friend over the years, he's been a really good friend to me, we're partners in business, but I remember him asking, he's like,
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Your guy says, like, what you guys believe, because her one's a pastor, follower of Jesus, with what you guys believe, is that like a moment thing, or is that an over time thing?
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, whoa, me and him looked at each other, like, who's gonna take this one, you know, you already?
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I said,
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: There is a moment in time where you need to make a decision, but when that decision's made what happens is the Holy Spirit just will reveal this whole time God has had his hand on your life this entire time and if there's been something good placed in your heart.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: to impact people's lives.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: I would just do it, like just do it.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's so, it will be, it's not just good for you, but if you don't do it, you not only rob yourself from experiencing the fulfillment that will happen by helping people, but you rob the potential thousands, millions of people that could be exposed to the way you help people.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, department fan, question for you, based on you listening to this podcast, you probably are either looking to grow your personal brand this year, build your audience online and just stop chasing business and start to have business chasing you.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: If that's you, I want to invite you to the content to cash challenge.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is a five day coaching experience, a live coaching experience with myself that's done all on Zoom and you get access to a private community and it
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: By the end of the challenge, you'll have unreal clarity on what you're supposed to do online and you'll have the insight on how you can make an extra six or even seven figures.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I said seven figures in your business this year.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: And if any of those things sound great to you, I want you to join the next content to cast challenge.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: Scan the QR code if you're watching on a television or click the link in the description.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Once you go through it, go ahead and upgrade to VIP because you'll get an extra hour of bonus VIP Q&A with me every single day of the challenge.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so looking forward to seeing you there, let's get back into the combo.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: This last Christmas, I was scrolling, Doom scrolling as we all do, you know, when the presents are open, and I found this guy on my Instagram feed and his name is Tire Dad.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: And the clip that hit me was him is a video of him watching his kids on his phone.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: He just filmed this phone, filming him, watching his kids opening up presents.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it says the internal struggles every man, every father has during Christmas.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then it cuts to him at night standing in front of the Christmas tree of like,
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: the way we carry the weight of our families and providing and gifting.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like we do all this stuff for our family to smile on our kids to smile.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Man, that clip went crazy viral.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you grew by a couple hundred thousand followers in one day, but I say all this to say, if this guy felt a way about posting and wanted to make it perfect,
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: Then, like, that piece of content wouldn't resonate.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then, I wouldn't follow, hit the follow button, and then realize he has a podcast, and see that, like, I have a lot of my dad friends in business that follow him.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, I'm just thinking about.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't do the thing that God's put inside of you to do, it'll feel like a curse.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying God's gonna curse you.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: It'll just feel like you'll start to get resentment for other people doing the thing that you're supposed to do.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see other people in the lane, like taking up the audience that you're called to lead.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like a get over yourself.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like insecurity is an obsession of self.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason why people don't take action is because you're so obsessed with yourself.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: I found that overthinking is actually under-thinking the payoff.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: Because when I just asked you, how is your life changed a year after having a podcast?
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: When you were overthinking, starting your podcast, we're any of those thoughts apart of it.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: or like, that those outcomes in your overthinking.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is really funny to you, I asked this because, yeah, I don't think you know this about me, but I spent two days, I bought all the equipment.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: It was like in my basement, okay.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: So being here with you and Ryan and Dan and Thatch and Mikey and all these people that I've had on, you're less than a year later crazy.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: In my basement, my wife was away for the weekend.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: I had no more excuses.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like on the ground in like physical resistance to being able to turn the camera on and sit and talk to the camera.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: I spent two days like that basically, you know, leaving the room coming back, leaving it on the ground, literally like making noises because I'm just like in physical resistance.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: But because I felt so cold and exactly what you described, watching other people and having criticism, or like, I was commenting and I was tricking myself that I wasn't jealous or I wasn't resentful, I wasn't those feelings and like, oh, I can do that.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then it took two days of me resisting, I recorded one episode in the next day, I recorded five.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: So solo episodes.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then from there, all in, yeah, all in an hour sitting here.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: And just for your audience, can you tell them some of the things that have happened in the year of you taking action just so that they could be encouraged?
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: The genuine relationships that I have created with the guests.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, even just you and I connecting, everyone that I've had of genuine relationships, the events that I've created, the response, the lives that I've changed, the leadership program that I went through, I would not have gone through my ability to articulate.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: I feel more love now, not from adoration and fans or anything like that, but actually my capacity to love and be loved and to truly understand what it means to give and that that's my purpose.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't have discovered this feeling and I would have been in
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: resentment and I call it purgatory, yeah, I would have been a purgatory because I had this knowing but I couldn't take action on it and it was the fears and the insecurities and it was the focus on self and now I get to sit here and I get to give you a platform to spread all this amazing information and good word to people.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: Long-term consistency leads to indirect opportunity.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: you actually can't quantify or fathom the result or the effect of the doing the thing that you're supposed to do.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's so linear in our brains because that's just the finite place in our brains.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: But like you didn't have that on paper to be in relationship with people.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: You had in your mind that it would be really cool to have a conversation with them, but in your mind you thought it was gonna end with a conversation and not gonna bleed into their team
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: Dan's video guy and then having him and then Dan's video guys on a journey trying to like I when you when you just start like backing up you're like, well, I could not have bad than this so like that's why I say overthinking is actually undervaluing the outcome of what you're overthinking about because you have no idea what's going to happen.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Which is why you know what you do it you have to do it for yourself.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: Bro might my podcast strategy is is just this.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to post a conversation every week until Jesus comes back.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's the podcast strategy.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, well, what up with it?
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Hey.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's it.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: So here we go.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta show up.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta post a video on New Year's Eve and on Christmas Eve and,
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: I got to post the podcast, the Wednesday after my father passes away.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it is making a promise to yourself to show up.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: And again, I can't, you cannot quantify the impact and effect that you're, I like to call it obedience.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: You reacted to a draw and you simply said yes.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's when I have a seven-year-old daughter in a two-year-old son, I want them to do two things.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: Listen and obey.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like everything's good.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: Ruby, if you just listen and obey, you know.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: You don't think they're the girl presenting you for that?
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, because what I want for them, they could not fathom.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: The protection that I see that they can't
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: They'll never, so in many cases, that's why I love being a father, because it teaches me so much about the heart of God.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: We think God is this guy with a thunderbolt.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: We think he's Zeus, and he's not.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: We God is loving the Bible.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus says, if your father on earth gives good gifts,
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: how much more would the God of heaven give it, with his infinite surplus of resource?
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus actually in comparison to a good father.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: compared to God the Father is evil.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: In comparison, you can't, so many things that I experience as a dad, it is just a glimpse of the heart of God and yet.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, everything that you're saying is like the message that I'm preaching and I'm a lived experience of a lot of it and the resistance and the clarity and a little bit of delusion of where I was when I started about how I was showing up, how I was being perceived, my true values,
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: all that.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then everything through this journey is like really shifted and I'm very aware of it feels like where people get stuck and in particular maybe men get stuck.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: Where do you think men and fathers are in terms of?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: Because you mentioned the tired dad, one of you'd be provider.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of men are just, I think they're scared, I think they're sad, I think they're disappointed.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's where a lot of the the stuckness comes from.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you feeling?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: Or what are you observing in men today?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm finding that man need to hear certain things.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: To keep going, you know.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: The way God orchestrated humanity is it started with man.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then out of the man came the woman.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: And in many cases, men are the leaders of the homes.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's why there's always like back and forth when like the wife wants to start a business and it's like the man feels like he needs to provide and you can't have a woman, you can't have the wife like make more than, you can figure all that stuff out.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: But like,
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: The way it's been ordained is that the leader of a home is the man.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if that's the case, then who does men run to to get the things we need to hear?
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll tell you what a man needs to hear from another man.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Men need to hear.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'm proud of you from another man.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Which is like, I, uh,
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: The crazy thing is, if it comes from your earthly father, so good, God bless you, you hit the lotto.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: You hit the lotto.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: With a dad that says, I'm going to go, you know, like even like art my shredder, he'll be on the phone with his dad on speakerphone and his dad will say, who will call him son.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like he doesn't call him art and and because my dad didn't necessarily call me son.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: He called me or musky or marsky, not my ring called you or musky now.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: And but I'm it it triggered and then when he gets off the phone his dad says love you son And I know it's like for art is just like but I hear it and it triggers something and I'm like
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I had a friend of mine, I told him this recently, but three years ago, he just saw like the kind of growth in my life and all those things, um, and he's just like, bro, I don't know if you've ever heard this man to man, bro, I'm proud of you, like not in a stunning way, but like man to man, I'm seeing the way you lead your home, the way you lead your family, the way you lead spiritually, the way you lead in church, the way you lead your, with, uh, and steward your, um,
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: authority and audience.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: Just want to say I'm proud of you.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: I just recently told him a few months ago that made me tear.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't know though because I just, because I didn't realize I needed to hear that from another man.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I think so, so where does that come from?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: That comes from being in community with the right men, with men who've gone first.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorite
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: Is that with the shared faith system, the shared belief, you get access to men who've been there done that and they know exactly what you're going through and know exactly what you're about to experience and know they they're in their second marriage or they're or they've been married for 58 years like
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: So being able to tap into men who've gone before us is so key, this is kind of beyond content.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like content is such a reflection of self.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: So if you don't get this stuff right, then your content's always gonna be off.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: But one of my favorite things about relationships is the three relationships you should fight for in every season.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: every season of life you should fight for a relationship where you are pulling somebody up.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: You've you've lived life long enough where there is someone or some group of people that you can pull up.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know in many cases I think of my business as a way of doing that.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: A hiring young people.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: I want to pull them up on every conversation is
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: trying to break limiting beliefs and saying what's on their life and like giving them our opportunity even in the form of like youth ministry and things like that just play people.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: So fighting for like who in your life?
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: They would consider you a voice in their life.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: They will consider you the man that speaks into their life, right?
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: So that is the pulling up relationship.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: Then you have the relationships where you are, you know, you guys are at the same level, maybe same age, same season in life, same season in building, what you're building, and there's like that shared,
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: These are the people that you can really process things with and you're doing life with these people.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then you fight for the relationship of who's pulling you up, which I found most people aren't gonna do that for you.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: You actually have to knock on the door and say, hey, can we grab coffee once a month?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: And be a good student, be a good mentee.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like that, don't ask somebody for help, get the help, do nothing with the help,
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, speaking of friends that are like you're doing life with me, obviously, in many cases, people will see what I'm doing and what I'm helping people do, and they're like, dude, Mark, can you kind of grab a cot and say, okay?
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: And these friends of mine, who I'm so openly handedly willing to give them any information that I can help them with,
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: Typically are the ones that don't implement the things I give them because I'm Omar.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm familiar.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: They've seen me grow, right?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Or they've seen the person I was and like who I am and they've seen the process.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of like when you have a kid, you don't really see their growth until you look at a old photo or old picture.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I remember asking my own family, I said, just ask me, well, I don't want to waste your time.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're not doing what you asked me for is what's wasting my time.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so what tends to happen is I tend to have the same conversations with the closest people in my life every year.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, weren't we here last year?
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like weren't you overthinking this last year?
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: But this is why I believe in the principle of paying to pay attention.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: Not saying, fam, a, a Nicole and my brother and my cousins and my friends pay me like I'm not saying that But the reason why they're not paying attention is because there's no cost to the information to receive it Even like that's what's so funny about the podcast.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: I have no gatekeeping.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't gatekeeping.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't gatekeeping because the context of consumption Is free so people aren't valuing this conversation at the level they could be
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: but you post this behind a paywall, oh my goodness, but nothing other ideas.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: The craziest unlocks they've been waiting on.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: So, that's the, you know, I don't even know where I was going with the answer that question, but I would say, fight for those three relationships and you will feel fulfilled in your life.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: Real talk.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I'm proud of you, text this morning.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: There was just on my heart.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: And it was more than just I'm proud of you, I had some context to it, but I know it's with the relationship
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: you know, I see him.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: He's 20 years old.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: I see him as me 20 years ago, but he's really fortunate to have gone through some things that will build him into a better man than I wish I would have been able to go through at that point, but I feel called to bring as many people up as I can, but like you said, a lot of times or many times, like people have to pay like my family similar story and people closest to me.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really hear from them.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like the people that I knew, pre this and pre real estate and all that, I don't really hear from them too much.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: They don't like my posts, they don't share it, they don't say I see you, I don't get any of that.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if it's because they see the old me or they don't get it or I don't know what it is.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, I would just, I would an overthink that part.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: I would just say familiarity breeds contempt, you know, that's all.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a character flaw.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a byproduct of knowing you and I would argue.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: that it's healthy to be familiar to people, because you don't want your head to get too big.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: And like there's a reality like people tend to ask me like how do you stay so grounded?
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I mean, I live seven minutes from my studio.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: I hire family and friends.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: I go to church every Sunday.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm involved in my community.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be really hard for me to get air again because my world and the people who see me consistently,
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be Omar Altacore at my church.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just passing her out.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, let's grab coffee.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: The number one question I usually get asked by people like you is Omar, how the heck does your videos look and sounds so dang crispy?
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the reality is it's the equipment I use and you'd be surprised how inexpensive it could actually be.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I've compiled all my gear and I've been
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: updated the list and I want to give it to you.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're listening or watching this, just hit the description box below and I'll send you my gear guide for every budget and let's get back into the conversation.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's like the math and economy effects, you know, which is what I don't even know.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: Incredible celebrity, like one of the biggest in the world.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: But he can be walking around Austin and he's not going to cause a whole scene because he's just... Oh dude, I stay in the math team a kind of hay effect then.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I stay over a farming in Las Vegas.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: This is out here telling me not to call for his bro.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, it's real.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: They did a very interesting situation happen recently about family and content.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's how they're seeing you consistently, right?
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: They're seeing you post polished videos or clips that add value.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: They know you, they knew who you were before this year.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: You just had a transfer, I've learned that a transformation could take place.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: And if you weren't a part of the process of that transformation, it'll be too hard to comprehend who I am.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's just, wait a second, that's my parents.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: My parents raised this.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then when I was 20 years old,
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: May Jesus Lord and Savior of my life, and then my priorities change, my relationships change, my everything changed, my future decisions but change, and they couldn't comprehend what just took place.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I became a new person.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: And now in the last three and so years people have seen a big transformation between who I was, the Tech YouTube Omar, you know, and now I'm like business coach Omar.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: And if you weren't a part of seeing me evolve, then you're gonna have a hard time comparing.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so, yeah, I did, I had a post that I put out recently.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: And my parents and lot, both of them disagreed with it in the comments.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, y'all never comment on this stuff.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all never comment when I post Ruby and Russell, like, where y'all that, you know?
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, long story short.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, that's what they've been seeing.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're just seeing me post strong opinions and with content, bro.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why content goes viral is because you pick aside.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: And if you have to pick aside, you don't have time for context.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: So because there's no context in short form content for a series of time, you're just gonna see somebody and I may appear a little arrogant in my content because I'm so confident with what I'm saying.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: But there's new ones, bro.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, there's a conversation that can be yielded from a clip like this.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: And it's why content breeds content.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: And reaction content is, you know, reaction content does better than the actual video.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: Just the guy sitting there watching.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: And breaking the thing down.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I was watching another one that just came up with my feed with all this stuff with,
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: with what I'm drawing a blank.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: Charlie Carrigan.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: So this guy that's showing the DJI mic, and he's like, or he uses the word road.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, then this guy knows his mic brands.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, look, crazy views, crazy comments.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like the content on content.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think the tracks and YC right now.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: You see that guy with the watch, the watch is tracks in my sea.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: 80 million views.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm now that's becoming a trend where you can just knock on a thing and say, and demand something anyway.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say one last thing on your transformation and you become as a person because
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: I realized as I was like stepping into all this, that it's like, oh, my life is going to be more exposed.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: What I really believe in, what are my values, how am I showing up every day?
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know that concept of like, if you had a camera crew following you around, what would your life look like?
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: Would you be leading in the way that you say you are?
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: and you have a camera crew following you around.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, laterally.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: Literally.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: Two dudes, two dudes that are following you around and to like, to do that to men.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: Two men.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: That I'm very proud of.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: Suns.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Suns.
- 36:36[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: But what was the decision like for you as a man, as a father, as a husband, to now say, I'm going to be content.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be followed around.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to get my head in the clouds.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing this to provide value.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: What was it like for you to say, I'm going to be content, and I'm going to live my morals.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to live my daily values and live up to it.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: decision to take my personal brand very serious in May of 2022.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't have someone I was paying at the time necessarily, but I did know that I was showing up and giving value in many cases.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: I was doing Zoom calls.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: I was on the phone with people.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I was meeting people and I realized that on my feed, this is at the time, at the time on my feed,
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: and the thought I had to myself was, what if I can just be the four or five people to the people that follow me?
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: That was the simple thought.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the answer is, I just need to post every day.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you are not going to be able to post every day if you feel like you need to create every day.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: What I found was, we're already doing what we want people to see.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: We're already having the client meetings.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: We're already doing hopping on Zoom and doing the scary calls.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: We're already picking up the kids from school and showing this aspect to our life.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so...
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: just realizing that the inherent value of just capturing stuff with no real plan on everything that's being captured.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: But it kind of just came from that.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like let me just show up consistently and provide value and one way to do that is to offload that and then just have somebody film.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: And here's what's crazy about that.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so glad that I was capturing stuff.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like at a bare minimum,
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be recording audio for every conversation you're having because you can use it for AI.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: And we recently created a chat bot that's Omar's chat bot.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: And right now, I think it's at 8 million words.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: It has every coach call, every Q&A call, every podcast, every hallway conversation that was captured is in this chat.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if today I wanted to start a chatbot and I had no content to even start with, so it will always get more than what you pay for when it comes to just stepping on and like documenting, even if you can figure it out later.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, but that was a simple, that was it.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't wanna over communicate that idea.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to be, I wanted to essentially go to church and then people be like, dang dude, every time I open up that, you show up, there you go.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: as a marketer.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's the goal.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's the social media is working.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because I mean, how many people are really doing it?
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: You, Ryan, Dan, Alex, Cody, you know, there's what I think you are putting me in the center of those names.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I'm just saying, like, what do you mean, dude?
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even calling that false humility.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I think in my world, I'm doing a pretty decent job, but all that to say, I don't know, I don't see myself in that Mount Everest or Rushmore, yeah, now I'm not Rushmore.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: Show us how much I know geography, so how much I paid attention.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I did, I appreciate that.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: And so what was the conversation like with your wife?
- 40:19[SPEAKER_00]: around like hey we're gonna have these cameras around.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's funny.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry I haven't asked her permission yet.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know honestly I've been doing video since high school and my wife and I were in the same elective broadcast journalism and I was vlogging in high
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then when we reconnected in our young adult life when I was 19, 20, and she was 22, 23, I married up.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, she's older.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, a little baddie.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, anyway.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, video has always been a part of our lives.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: And even so even her, like she kind of, you know, did church news when we first started dating.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: So she was really good on camera.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: uh she she she also went to call we both went to college for journalism and media studies so it's kind of like always kind of been linger and it's been a part of us like we you know just social media evolution with Twitter and Instagram and posting outfits and stuff so that it wasn't foreign and I I would say she just trusts what
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: God's called me to do and it's crazy because like I was always behind the scenes and it's weird to think that I'll spend today.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'll probably talk for eight hours.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Just just see
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: But all those years, when no one was looking, I was working on myself.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I was serving the house and asking my wife what she needed.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: But it's always just that dual partnership.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't say I asked for permission.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas now, I mean, I guess
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't ask that by the way.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I didn't ask if you got for permission.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: I said, what was the conversation like?
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: That it's been, it's been an evolution of a conversation.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: Is that a, is that a byproduct of you just being like all in on the vision and like being a leader of your household and being a leader of the family?
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think it maybe has just like a man like I feel like I do feel like the podcast was.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: something I needed to do to step into the next season of our lives, which, you know, I had it really good, making content for Think Media.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_01]: It was like a part-time multiple six-figure situation, and anyone who's anyone would would kill for that.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: But again, when God puts a desire in your heart, sometimes it's bigger than what's that phase value, and I had a lot of insecurities that I had to work through.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I went with the podcast route, because I knew it was probably the
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: the best way that most aligned with the kind of way I like to teach and educate.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you said that most men want the opportunity before they've built the capacity.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: Can you speak more into that about the desires of men?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: Men and women, the desires when something's called on your heart, like, but wanting something maybe before they're ready?
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the Bible says,
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: Meaning, a good thing that you get, that you're not ready for, can actually be a bad thing.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I've just found that the best thing you can do is always be in a season of preparation.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: You should always be preparing.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: Myron would say, myron Golden says, a prepared messenger is better than a prepared message.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't have to, I didn't prepare to get on this podcast.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm in a constant perpetual state of preparing for an opportunity.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so Jim Rowan says, work on yourself more than you do your own job.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a very 1% concept to invest in yourself and to get better in your skills, get better in your capacity, get better in your mindset.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: Um, which I'm finding that once I made that jump from the 99 to the 1% which is simply just best thing in yourself.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's how you make the jump.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: How do you make the jump from being 99% of everybody else to being in the 1% of human beings that are really pushing the country and the in the world forward by just knowing that you can actually spend money on
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: you, and you becoming more, and when you become more, you'd be surprised what you end up doing.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then when you do more, you just end up having more.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, it's BDo have, it's a biblical principle of found in Genesis.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I'm actually reluctant to do things that a lot of regular people do, and I know this sounds so stinking arrogant.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: No, let's hear it.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: People need to hear this.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't go to concerts, because a lot of broke people.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't sit in the crowd because I'm not in the crowd.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm building stages.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: That sounds very conny.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: That was a very conny.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: It was more moment.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: No, but my wife went to dinner with her with my sister and another sister in law and a friend from out of town.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: and they had didn't type long and it was a great night and I took care of the kids and I love taking care of the kids and then she texted me she's like you want to go to back sheet boys tomorrow at the sphere and I just put broke people activities
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now, that was just my response.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: But there is just something psychological for me.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is why this is a me thing.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: This doesn't have to be anyone thing.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: I saw Ryan Sirhan was at the backseat voice concert.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, Ryan Sirhan's doing his thing.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: So like, but it's just a me thing.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, there is a, you know, I like to think of myself in the form of transforming or becoming the person or creating the capacity.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: You could shrink back to your old cell.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: You can, you could succumb to safety and comfort, but if you put yourself in environments what just constantly call you higher and challenge your thinking and show you opportunities, like then you stay at a perpetual state of, you know, leveling up.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: We recently watched a movie.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't watched a movie in so long, but because of the marketing, I had to watch Marty Supreme.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, based on all the marketing, I'm like, bro has or the way he's marketing this thing is sick.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: My friends got the merch.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, this is going to be the coolest movie in the world.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I made a deal to the people we watch the movie with.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I'm just not going to look on my phone.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember the last time I watched a movie without just like, oh, looking at the time or opening up Instagram while I'm watching a movie.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: But like, let me put the phone down.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I finished the movie and I was like, this is why I don't watch movies.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, like that could sound boring, but I don't know.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't mind throwing on a movie in the background or something.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but I don't know.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: I just love learning.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: And what's crazy is I didn't love learning when I was going to school.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_01]: I was actually a very, um, bellow average student.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's just because the scholastic educational system rewards
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: memory and creative people don't typically have the best memory, but we're very innovative.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: And if you give us freedom, we can build something significant.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so anyway, like all my life, I didn't get into the university.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_01]: I originally wanted to get into it.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: I eventually got into it, because I did community college, then transfer my credits.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: But in my later years, my adult years,
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: I just love, love, love learning.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, yeah, I go home, YouTube TV, boom, and I'm watching something.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: And even when I watch YouTube golf, where I'm watching Mark, a Matt Armstrong, who's a car channel or YouTube golf, it's because there's so much education in that content.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, I don't know, maybe it's creating more of an interesting dynamic of the way I communicate is just I'm learning I'm not always trying just trying to learn business or just trying to learn it's all kinds of things just I'm a student of life, bro.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's, um,
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's creators and consumers.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, right.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: And we do consume, right?
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking about learning and consuming that sort of education.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: But when you're talking about broke people activities, there's people that create things and there's people that consume things.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: 99% of people are just consuming all the time.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: They're living life by default.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_00]: They don't have a purpose.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know what drives them.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: For example, after I landed in Vegas, it was Sunday night, I used to watch football all the time.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: I used to spend my Sundays.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: It was an all-day affair, and then there's Thursday night football, and then, oh, playoffs.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: You got Saturday and Sunday.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and then I realized, I mean, man, there's a lot of time.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of time, especially when the team is not doing while you're like, what am I doing?
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I landed, and the Raiders were in the playoffs.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: They weren't even at home.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: But the streets were filled with radar fans, drunk, all geared out.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's something to be said for people that haven't created anything in their life.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: And they've just been living life by default, and they get the job, and they have the family, and they get all the debt, and the cars, and the house, and they're just drinking, and they're smoking, and they're gambling, like everything, right?
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: Versus what you're saying is really a truly
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm not here to dog or make us feel like because we've got a podcast, you know, and because I could see how like some people would feel that when I think about people who know more sports statistics than even Bible scripture, I'm like, why?
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like the way you can debate
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: I wish you can do that about something that is actually moving the world forward, you know?
- 50:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a waste of talent, honestly.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a part in Robert Cuesauki's book or shit of port eddy talks about how many, just people working regular jobs that he's met that are just like miraculous people.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: But they might be a mechanic, they might be a plumber.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_00]: Whether, none of the wrong ones are jobs, we need those jobs.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying like there's these individuals,
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: that have incredible talent.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: But it's wasted on learning sports statistics.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: Or whatever the thing is, when if you applied that to improving yourself and growing and learning and becoming the best version of yourself, like you could change the world, literally.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's what people don't realize, they can change the world.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: They can change the world, they can change their life, they can become any version of the selves that they want to be.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_00]: But, and I talked to Ryan, I was on a podcast earlier, like,
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: People in the 150 to $300,000 salary range, it's a really tough spot to be in because they make enough money that they've created a very comfortable life for themselves.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: They have everything that they've probably ever wanted.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: Their main motive entertainment is going out to dinner every night or ordering door to every night.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_00]: And they've got the cars, they buy fancy whiskey, like whatever it is.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: And the thought of going and learning and growing and doing something for themselves is too hard because one, they're probably at a cash because they spend it all and then two, they have to step out of their comfort zone versus someone that's making $30,000 a year.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: They got nothing to lose.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: They got time, because the 30,000 doesn't mean anything, and they can just go all in without fear, but this $300,000 range is a very comfortable life that they've created.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, I have a handful of those kinds of people in my coaching program.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I found the people that succeed the fastest in my coaching program are people who have
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: hired help.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: Or somebody is responsible for you to make decisions.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: Um, there's, there's a lot of people that are very comfortable in the program.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe like their keynote speakers and they get, you know, uh, 20 keynotes a year.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: They make 350K.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_01]: No video person.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe an admin, maybe, you know,
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's, yeah, is a comfortable life, which is fine.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, my thing is like, dude, don't do something you're not supposed to do, because I don't believe success means more.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: Always.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if that is always the driver, you'll never feel rested.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think success is actually, you know, finding your essence in what you're supposed to focus and do.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so I say all that to say one thing I would encourage somebody who has excess money is to just make a higher.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: hire somebody to help you and the information you get to implement, you won't have time to overthink because somebody has to get to work and then what you see is the benefit of somebody doing something.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: 10x better and faster than you because they had the full opportunity to be creative in their way of solving a problem.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: Freelancers who get multiple six figures and you know how this, great, or if you have high income W2, that's incredible.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like sometimes I think about like the last job I had was working in ministry.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_01]: I was making $34,000 in my salary full time.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: Something I did experience was freedom.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: I experienced, I did experience freedom at nights and I experienced weekends and vacations.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_01]: I got paid to go in vacation.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: When somebody has a high salary and they do really well,
- 54:21[SPEAKER_01]: don't take that for granted because what you actually do when you step into real entrepreneurship and building a business is you trade time freedom for mental bondage.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, although I have time freedom, I can golf if I want.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: I can go home if I want.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: I could do whatever I want when I want.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: There's beauty in that, but I believe the 24-7 mental thinking around the business and what it is, not everyone's supposed to experience.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's why seeing how Sean Cannell think media would the help of Heather Torres and her being the integrator and him being the visionary, and I saw the dynamic and how it scaled from just us three to 28 people, W2s, and like it was a whole thing.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: It gave me a lot of insight to realize that there are some people that are supposed to work underneath a vision and support a vision.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I still think of myself as a supporter of vision.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like I support people's business vision in my form of coaching.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like my podcast comes from a place of service to support people.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: So it's always pushing.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, if your life is good, just make sure you're investing your money so that you can actually do something fulfilling.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: But everything comes down to just, if you're not fulfilled, then what do you, you've got to consider something.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: I have this theory and it's sort of already happening that jobs won't exist in the way that they do today and that your personal brand will be the way that you get jobs in the future.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like, essentially, everyone will be a freelancer in the future, right?
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have a bunch of people at own companies.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_00]: AI is going to do a lot of things.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't gotten quite there yet, but then most people will actually just be freelancing
- 56:21[SPEAKER_00]: and running their own business or whatever that might be, absent of LinkedIn.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: And so, I don't know, do you agree with that?
- 56:29[SPEAKER_00]: Is that like, in the back of your mind, like, how to make money or how to help people make money in the future with content?
- 56:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I guess that's why people pay me the big bucks, is to help them in that.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know when I was creating helpful videos that by creating helpful videos online, long form, I was passively building trust on automation.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: So that when it came time to launch something, though the response was crazy, people were waiting for me to invite them into the next step.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's,
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not just my opinion, I think the the most wealthiest individuals, like a Kevin O'Leary or the Shark Tank, it's like they all are like, man, I need to take my personal brand series and they're posting long from YouTube videos.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny because it says in Proverbs in the Bible, it says it's better to have a great name than it is to have great riches.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: So we should be focusing on building our name.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_01]: Our name should, when people hear your name, do they think trustworthy?
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: Do they think consistent?
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: Do they think brilliant?
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: Do they think gifted?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: Do they think best?
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like when we think about names of, you know, you got a Cartier vintage like,
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's card, it's cardier, it's got a name.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_01]: The reality is that we can do this with our faces in our names right now.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it's only going to get more difficult to break through.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: But I would say,
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: you know something you know this is actually a funny insight you know my friend Neil went to the hermosie workshop a little over a year ago and Neil makes a couple million dollars part-time and is coaching and consulting the mastermind business and stuff.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_01]: And they said his biggest flaw of his business is key man risk.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got Daniel Priestley making a book called Key Person of Influence.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, what are we doing here?
- 58:43[SPEAKER_01]: Key man risk or key person of influence?
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: Here's what I found.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: That to make a lot of money up front, a personal brand can allow you to do that because people resonate with the name of a human in a face of a human.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: if your objective isn't to build a company and scale it and then to sell it, then I'm talking to you.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: You can make so much money in the next five years in tandem while building your personal brand.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue that I'm getting the upfront cost of what it would be like trying to sell my business later.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 59:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm okay with key manners because my the owners intent of my business is to leverage who I am and what I know to help people move faster.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, so, but most people are really good at what they do or they they they they understand a process better than everybody else or they have a framework that can like get people somewhere.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like build build on your name.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_00]: And what you're basically saying is you can't sell a personal brand.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so if you have a coaching business or a busy cash flow business with no assets, it's really hard to sell that with Neil or whoever.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I will say I was verbally yapping to get to this point because I realized I forgot to let you just remember.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_01]: So here we go.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_01]: What we're what I don't realize I'm doing, but I do realize it is that I'm creating
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: When somebody knows, like, I get DMs and messages all the times of people starting new, literally speaking of Daniel Presley, I had a guy reach out and he said, hey, Daniel, your name came up in a room.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_01]: And he's working on this new thing.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_01]: Can we get a call?
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: We'd like for you to be a part of this in some capacity.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because your name is in the ether now.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_01]: So now my name is being brought up in rooms I'm not in.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's a personal brand.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_01]: What are people saying when you're not in the room?
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_01]: And here's my thing.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_01]: My, I feel like my big exit if that even is a thing.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: Because I don't even think about retiring.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to literally podcast till forever.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, but the big exit could literally just be an opportunity that I got invited into.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: Literally, Christmas Eve, my friend David Chance calls me.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, hey, we've been doing this conference every year.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's grown it to 2,000 people, and it's growing every year.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: Podcasts on it.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: in Atlanta and he's like, I want you to be a partner because I really want to get this thing like, let's talk.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_01]: So is there key man risk in building a personal brand?
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe directly in the business, but is there unlimited upside and opportunity because your name is known and you're trusted and people know, yes.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that was a very linear way of looking at meals business and saying that, you know, there's too much key man risk.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: You got to figure this out.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now you said, you can't really sell a personal brand.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_01]: If you build it right, you can.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_01]: The way you sell a personal brand is that you actually remove yourself and you lift up the frameworks or the processes.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: So two people, I know, one person I know that sold a personal brand, second person I know can sell a personal brand.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if they want to.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_01]: The first person is John Maxwell.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: He sold his name for like 150 million dollars.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_01]: So that John Maxwell books and that John Maxwell certification, notice that he's like created frameworks and certification and curriculum and subproducts that have his name but could be fulfilled by somebody else because he's dialed it down.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_01]: So he gets to sell that and then he gets to do what he wants now, right?
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_01]: So he sold his name.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_01]: Dave Ramsey would be the next person, yeah.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_01]: But what's crazy is he used his name to create a network of sub personal brands, which I think is the future of people like me, people like Dan Martell and Alex, it would be them having sub brands within the brand to help more specifically with different areas.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the thing, even with Alex, you're not, when you work with Alex or not,
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: buying Alex and buying acquisition.com or whatever product they're using or like pace, pace more be.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in this community, love pace.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, love pace.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_00]: And so if you're in pace's community, it's a lifetime option to get in and then he owns every company that provides a service into the community, the title company, the lending, like every service that's in there is a company that he owns that he technically could sell if you wanted to, right?
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_00]: So there's
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_00]: if I'm thinking 10 years in the future, how do I want to build it now, right?
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_00]: And making sure that I'm doing that.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_00]: And also, to your point, and this is who, these are the people that I speak to, not everyone wants to run $100 million company, right?
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_00]: The people that I talked to is like, let's get you out of your job, if that's what you want to do.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get you posting, let's get you buying real estate, let's get you some cash flow outside.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_00]: So there is no key me on risk of you being an employee, and then go like, do what you want to go do.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_00]: And with personal brand, you can make money along the way, like you said.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then like I was describing when you asked me a question, all of these opportunities, all these doors were opening, that wouldn't have existed how I not done this before.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_00]: Versus, if I tried to start a company five years ago, day one, I might be still be trying, nobody knows who I am, right?
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what I have gotten is creative, you don't know.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: And so sometimes it's even just...
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_00]: Take the path like a you don't need to be perfect.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_01]: No in this and what's cool is I believe and I'm finding a lot of you because I'm in I'm in Russell, Bronson's world and And in his world, it's a lot of people who've built their businesses solely on paid ads.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_01]: There's no real brand.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's just marketing And then they've been seeing my like
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_01]: cost per lead and like the conversions and things that and my numbers are they they don't make sense but it's because brand is the easy button to business in a recession of trust or trust recession.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_01]: The more known it's like this is why it doesn't matter if you're good at what you do it matters if people know you're good at what you do.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_01]: And so.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: My life is easy, business is easy because I have a brand.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_01]: And what people don't realize, like what you're doing by having a podcast, dude, is you're bringing down your ad costs down when you decide to start running ads.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like my return on ad spend row as with the first round of ads I ran in 2024, which is like the first time I went hand on ads to my level, hand.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_01]: It was $1,400 for every dollar I put into the ad machine I got back $1,400.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_01]: Now the question is how many times would you make that trade?
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_01]: infinite.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now the question is, if there's an activity you can do on a weekly basis or daily basis, would you do that activity so that you had a machine where you put a dollar in and you get a thousand dollars back?
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, ever to.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_01]: But we can't quantify it because we care about what people think.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_01]: So the power of just, and you don't even need the views to do that by the way, if you have a
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: My thing is, your goal for 2026, if you're listening or watching this, should be that when somebody hops on your Instagram, your TikTok, your email, your YouTube channel, is that they can do this.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_01]: How tell me you can be trusted online without telling me you can be trusted online.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_01]: Is that your, this is, and then if you click one,
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_01]: It leads you to start, you start binging.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, well, this person's the real deal.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_01]: And they did that on their own time.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_01]: So this is the power of being able to create trust on automation in a trust procession.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: And so if someone listens to this episode and changes nothing, what do you still hope that they take away from this conversation?
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_01]: Keep consuming until you automatically start doing.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_01]: I hope something that Miron has said, and I say a lot of Mironism's because he's been responsible for a lot of the transformation.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_01]: He says success and failure are both automatic.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_01]: No one necessarily is trying to fail.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: But also when you look at people succeeding, no one's really trying to succeed.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's just happening.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so the key is to get your mind in a position where you automatically are successful.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you do that by actually doing what you're listening to, like, I mean, it's not going to happen without implementation, but that's like sometimes, you know, a skill that I've really tried to get better in in the last three years is a skill of teaching and selling at the same time.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_01]: the ability to when somebody hears me talk that they are so persuaded by my words that they feel like they can trust me what they're wallet.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so that happens, again, back to the prepared messenger, that just happened by changing my operating system to operate automatically in towards success.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_01]: At some point, there will be a breaking point if you're just consuming consuming where it's just like, okay, I'm done consuming and I'm going to do, you know, and by the way, you're doing isn't just buying the gear, like this is what people thought I used to have this offer called dialed in a day, it was like 30 grand for a day, people bought it and I'd fly out and it's set up and they thought they were doing the work by getting the work.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_01]: done, and that was in the case.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_01]: You still have to show up on camera, bro.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it's all like, when people were like, can I see, you know, people's YouTube channels of all the studios you set up?
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I don't have examples because once they got it, it wasn't the thing they needed to get going.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_01]: They thought it was what they needed.
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_01]: We all have a smartphone.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_01]: We all have a car.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_01]: Some great studio to get started with, we all can drive over to a park
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_01]: and you can just make videos.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_01]: And just get, get it out there.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_01]: You referenced a video I posted 13 years ago on a podcast 13 years after the fact, like make the video that 13 years from now, somebody will bring up and be like, do you posted that video at the park?
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_01]: It was snowing that day.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_01]: Dang, I'm so glad I made that video, you know.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_00]: The other point to this about people's decision to go all in on content and whatever is they're going to do.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_00]: Self-improvement, that's my kind of thing, that's what you're doing, talking about now, whether you're a tech nerd or whatever you decide to go all in on, or whatever the thing that's on your mind and your soul.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_00]: There was this misbelief that I had that,
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_00]: There was other people already doing it.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_00]: There was the Myrans, there was the Danes, there was the Alexes, there's enough people out there that someone, everyone's going to find their person, right?
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then Dan and I referenced Dan a lot because Dan is my Myrans, right?
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Dan had a lot to do with my transformation.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_00]: Dan was like, Cassidy, if I didn't decide to go all in and write the book, start my coaching program, have the hike, which we met on.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_00]: would you be where you are right now?"
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, absolutely not.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_00]: If specifically Dan did not, if Omar did not, if Omar did not, if the person that's listening right now that has 100 followers did not decide, there are millions of people out there that will not find their person that gives them their transformation.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_00]: You specifically, Omar, you specifically
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_00]: find their specific people and those specific people find us or they may never find them and may never go through the transformation.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And so for everyone listening, you have a special gift, you have a talent.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_00]: And actually, I think at my let's said this, there are millions of people out there waiting for you to make the decision to go all in on yourself.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so please, please do it.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_00]: Omar, thank you.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_01]: Decisions beat intentions eight days out of the week.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for having me, bro.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_01]: This is great through this insane.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Can we do a rapid fire real quick?
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_01]: Let's rapid fire.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:11:28[SPEAKER_00]: Worst way to make money in content creation.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_00]: Google ads.
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's too little.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, don't make that the goal.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's the worst goal to have making money online.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_01]: Sell something.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Show a form of long form content, long form all day.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather have a thousand people watching our long video than a hundred thousand people watch a short form.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because trust is built with time and you can't replicate time spent.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Does manifesting work?
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we can like call things into existence.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I don't think I do think you could think your way into something, right?
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like the Bible says as a man thinks in his heart, so he is, so you are a reflection of your thoughts.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_01]: And if you can change your thought life, you can change your actual life, that I believe.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_01]: What's the worst business move you ever made?
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_01]: Investing into a Ponzi scheme.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_01]: of, I lost $100,000.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_01]: Sounded.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_01]: Is it a famous one?
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it'll be famous one day.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_01]: But that mean there was like 280, 300 people that were invested in this, I think there was $12 to $15 million.
- 1:12:39[SPEAKER_01]: It was supposed to yield the 20% return in six months.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_01]: If four months in, it looked like the emails weren't coming in anymore and then people started going crazy and it actually was the very reason why I buckled down and went all in is because
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't gonna be a loser.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm so glad that it happened because it created that fire.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody else kind of willowed in their self-pity.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, here's what happened in my mind.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_01]: I thought before that, $100,000 was a lot of money.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_01]: Losing it and seeing nothing in my life changed.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_01]: Still put food on the table, still paid our mortgage, still woke up the next day, still had a pulse.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_01]: Family was like, was good.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_01]: I really has $100,000 isn't a lot of money.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe a million dollars isn't a lot of money.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe money is literally a tool.
- 1:13:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like what God says it is.
- 1:13:37[SPEAKER_01]: And the Bible actually says, you can't serve God and money.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_01]: You have to pick one.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_01]: How do you know you serve money?
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_01]: You serve money when money stresses you out.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_01]: The idea of losing it stresses you out or the idea of making more of it stresses you out.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_01]: When you become none, numb to money, I like to say the pursuit of financial increase must be met with learning how to become numb to money.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_01]: Whether you make it or lose it, it's just money.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_01]: There's always more of it.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_01]: You can always get more of it.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can always make more of it.
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, I'm glad that that was the worst business move in my life.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if that's a business move.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_00]: I had a similar experience.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, same last money.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_00]: It was about $100,000.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's an partnership in a real estate deal, but same like process and story in my inside myself was like, no, it's not that much money.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_00]: And there's the limitless possibilities out there.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_00]: And as a byproduct, money will flow.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_01]: What's the best business decision you've ever made?
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_01]: The best business decision I have ever made is investing a lot of money in myself.
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_01]: How much have you invested in yourself?
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_01]: In the last three years, it's over 250k.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, it's actually, uh, it's going to fire into yours.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's one ten, David's like 220, and then I just joined Russell.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's 50.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of crazy.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_01]: Can you calculate the return on that?
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the return is I will forever have the skills and awareness of what they've showed me.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_01]: and who have become in the process.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_01]: So they got the short end of the deal.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I can't grow.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_01]: And here's why it's funny because you pay them one, you pay a coach once and then you get the information that you can use forever.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_01]: and I've just run two plays that Russell just in one sentence is told me to do.
- 1:15:40[SPEAKER_01]: I never said this publicly.
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_01]: So he said number one, create a downsell offer.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_01]: I've always sold just one offer.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_01]: I created down so offer the week after he says that I create down so offer, I sell it and I made 105k just cool.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Would you trade 50k for 105k?
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, how many times?
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then the next time we met up for a mastermind, he said, I told him I was like, I'm going to take December off.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, why?
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think because.
- 1:16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Trying to take December off, you know, time freedom, bro.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_01]: He said, how did you think you did on your last challenge?
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_01]: The last challenge we did, we made over 700 grand in five days.
- 1:16:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then I said, I thought I did pretty well.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_01]: He said, just run an automated challenge.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_01]: I said, but what, but it, you know, all this stuff, which is all in here, we run an automated challenge.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_01]: and 20 people, but like 20K offer, I mean 400K on the golf course, so the question is have you seen the ROI in that?
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you'll get the ROI if you become an implementer of what somebody
- 1:16:57[SPEAKER_01]: you paid tells you to do.
- 1:16:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, John Maxwell says, leaders see more and leaders see before.
- 1:17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we don't realize there are people.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_01]: We're not, like, there's nothing new under the sun.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_01]: We're no special, we're nothing special.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_01]: So if you paid somebody and they told you to do something and you didn't do it, there's a girl in my program and her name's Addy.
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_01]: She would say that's called expensive entertainment.
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_01]: Just paying Netflix, bro, at that point.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_00]: Shelf help too.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_00]: Shelf help.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_00]: And you put it back on the shelf.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_00]: But now you're like spending a lot more money.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_01]: So do you know what I wrote this?
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_01]: I wrote, I don't know why.
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_01]: A couple of weeks ago, I wrote down things I would tell my 20 year old self.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_01]: But one of the things, because I'm going to speak to a big young adult ministry at the end of the month.
- 1:17:47[SPEAKER_01]: But one of the things was if you want the outcome of a book,
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: just read it now, and the outcome will happen.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm living in the fruit of the books I read from 26 to 31, and I think about them often.
- 1:18:07[SPEAKER_01]: So when guys that I know turn that age, I'm like, read books, because the fruit of whatever you're gonna read right now is not gonna happen in the year.
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's not gonna happen in the year after it's just gonna, you're gonna automatically,
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_01]: have a morning routine.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to automatically.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_01]: have a four hour work week.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna automatically, like it's just, it'll just happen because you put it in you.
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're feeding your mind.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_00]: So give me one of those books, but you recommend anyone read right now.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Read the Bible, read the book of Proverbs.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_01]: There's a book in the Bible.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's a sub book.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's called Proverbs.
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_01]: There's 31 of them.
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_01]: How many days in the month are there?
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_01]: So you just read one of it a day.
- 1:18:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's called the Book of Wisdom.
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_01]: The wisest man who ever walked this planet.
- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_01]: His name was King Solomon.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_01]: He wrote the Book of Proverbs.
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I would say read a proverb of a day.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_01]: I've been doing that for 12 years.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_01]: All right, a couple more.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah YouTube LinkedIn and Scrimmer took talk YouTube It's on by Google
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_01]: it's going nowhere.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_01]: There's more streamers on Google or there's more users and consumers on YouTube than there is on any other platform to include Netflix and Hulu and all that stuff.
- 1:19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Here's my question.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you could post your podcast on Netflix and Hulu, would you do it?
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_01]: Then post it on you.
- 1:19:22[SPEAKER_00]: You don't think I have this little vision of like, oh, what if I got an Netflix contract?
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's going to happen.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:19:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just saying with YouTube being even more right now that already is a reality.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_01]: So you don't need to buy the FX6 or the Netflix certified thing.
- 1:19:39[SPEAKER_01]: You can literally just garner the audience and do that.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_01]: I love seeing Ryan Sir Hans situation, bro.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like we're talking a post-COVID business, obviously he's had decades of experience and building a personal brand to the place where he would land a series that I'm a fan of.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's just that that should get entrepreneurs who are creating pretty excited and also yeah, podcasters.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think about comedians, we're probably the first wave of like, okay, you're producing your own comedy show.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what if we just like page you to produce the next one deal, hey, we look like you're producing your own podcast, like what if we, if we page, that's, that's gonna happen.
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Shappelle went around and he paid to have like four stand-ups and then he got what like $50, $150 million from Netflix.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Rice paid for his own YouTube, you know, stuff, what's the other, um,
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_01]: I did, honestly, all the comedians, that's the, that's the, the comedian framework for success is have a small show where you've tested the jokes and pay a production company to capture it really well, upload it to YouTube and then cut clips and then run that mug.
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_00]: Our podcasters just want to be comedians then, is that what we're saying?
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, I would say people are just into conversations or opinions or observations.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I wouldn't be surprised if like Patrick Beddade had got a deal because of the form of his podcast.
- 1:21:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:21:15[SPEAKER_00]: All right, final wrap-up for our question.
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_00]: Does God want you to be broke?
- 1:21:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, do you want your kids to be broke?
- 1:21:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, why not?
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_00]: Because there's no, there's no reason to be.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no, and what can you do with that?
- 1:21:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I love them, yeah.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_00]: And you do everything in your power to make sure that wouldn't be the case.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that they figured out on their own, too, right?
- 1:21:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_01]: based on what God's put in your heart as of, are you a father?
- 1:21:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what God has put in your heart as a father.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_01]: But also, there is just biblical backing of scripture where it says, test me in the tide and see that I won't open up the floodgates of heaven.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_01]: There are literal scriptures that people who are actual believers hate and its scriptures like God will make you successful.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like the word successful, does that mean broke to you?
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_01]: There's open up the floodgates of heaven, sound broke to you.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like a lot of money to me.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_01]: Does God can do exceedingly abundantly above all?
- 1:22:21[SPEAKER_01]: You can ask think or imagine, does that sound broke to you?
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think God's desire for us is to be broke.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_01]: The Bible does say, you know, the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
- 1:22:36[SPEAKER_01]: And the Bible also says in the same sermon on the Mount, it says, blessed are those who are poor and spirit.
- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_01]: that are humble, that don't allow the thing to God or Lord over you, but God is a rewarder for those who diligently seek Him.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_01]: And when I hear the word reward, it's not just money, but it is to include money.
- 1:23:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Mar, this has been absolutely incredible.
- 1:23:03[SPEAKER_00]: I thank you so much for being here, being a part of my journey, and sharing all this with the audience.
- 1:23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go, bro.
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
