- 0:00Speaker 1: Peter, hold my ears back. It's one more thing. I'm
- 0:03Speaker 1: strong and getty.
- 0:04Speaker 2: One more thing. Oh oh, I'm familiar with that reference.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll explain. I'll explain that reference here in just
- 0:13Speaker 1: a second. But first, I just came across this, and
- 0:16Speaker 1: we don't do a lot of politics on this One
- 0:18Speaker 1: More Thing podcast. Usually. We'll probably talk about this tomorrow
- 0:21Speaker 1: on the Armstrong Ngetdy radio show. This article, I'm just
- 0:24Speaker 1: reading about Hunter Biden's sugar brother, Kevin Morris, the guy
- 0:29Speaker 1: that we all just became aware of recently when he
- 0:34Speaker 1: was sitting there in Congress on TV and his crazy
- 0:37Speaker 1: wild sport jacket and his really long hair for a
- 0:40Speaker 1: sixty year old. He's got party guy written all over him.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I've been around the world enough to know what party
- 0:45Speaker 1: guy looks like, and he looks like party guy is
- 0:49Speaker 1: he is, have a good time, knows lots of people
- 0:52Speaker 1: we're gonna stay out all night guy, high dollar.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Hookers, like a big spending party guy. Yeah, lots of
- 1:01Speaker 2: not to crushed beer cans on our heads and get wasted.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Lots of really hot young woman hanging around a guy
- 1:08Speaker 2: who's sixty in greasy and not that attractive, but He's
- 1:12Speaker 2: got a lot of money.
- 1:13Speaker 1: That guy. He gave Hunter almost five million dollars to
- 1:19Speaker 1: cover back taxes eight hundred and seventy five thousand dollars
- 1:23Speaker 1: for his art. What is up with this dude? I mean, so,
- 1:28Speaker 1: we'll talk more about that tomorrow. But what is going
- 1:30Speaker 1: on there? So he's party guy and giving hundred tons
- 1:33Speaker 1: of money for what reason? I don't know what he
- 1:36Speaker 1: got out of it.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Well, and a Hunter's not doing the the drugs, guns
- 1:40Speaker 2: and hookers thing anymore. So it's not that.
- 1:45Speaker 1: We don't think he's doing the drugs, guns and hookers
- 1:48Speaker 1: thing anymore, just like nobody thought Matthew Perry was doing
- 1:51Speaker 1: drugs anymore.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, uh yeah. So but what does this guy want?
- 1:57Speaker 2: Political influence? He just wants to be connected.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Maybe it was just cool to be yeah, just in
- 2:03Speaker 1: with that crowd and he's got tons of money.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Maybe that opened up a different world of party friends.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Tell you what, if I got a buddy who just
- 2:14Speaker 2: lays tons of money on me, I'm thinking he's going
- 2:17Speaker 2: to reach for for the for the junk at some point.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I want something.
- 2:24Speaker 2: He wants something.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Katie is right, he's gonna reach for the junk.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he said, sooner or later, it's gonna be hey, whoa, hey, bro,
- 2:33Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But I thought I had I had an acquaintance in
- 2:37Speaker 1: college who did that. It was very disappointing, very to him.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Huh to him, it was just it was disappointing to me.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Very cool guy, and I thought I was kind of
- 2:50Speaker 1: in with the cool crowd. And that turns out that
- 2:52Speaker 1: that's what he was after. And and I guess we weren't.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Actually he wasn't really, And I realized, if you're a woman, Katie,
- 2:58Speaker 1: this is an old experience to find out that the
- 3:01Speaker 1: guys only interested in you physically and you're not as
- 3:05Speaker 1: good a friends as you thought. But it was it
- 3:06Speaker 1: was new to me. I'm shocked. You're shocked at what
- 3:11Speaker 1: that happens.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah, so how did you handle that? Just tell him
- 3:18Speaker 3: you're not interested and then the friendship's over.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I it happened, uh late at night, she passed out
- 3:27Speaker 1: on the couch and uh and uh, I just I
- 3:35Speaker 1: just wriggled away and went to another room and then
- 3:37Speaker 1: never brought it up. And then that w just kind
- 3:38Speaker 1: of parted ways. Hm hmm, yeah, fair enough, I mean,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I don't know. Is there a better way to handle it?
- 3:46Speaker 3: No?
- 3:48Speaker 2: No, no, I mean.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Message sent on his end over end, a reply occurred,
- 3:58Speaker 1: No need to discuss it any further, I don't think.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah, fair enough, all right. It was shocking to me though,
- 4:04Speaker 2: I mean shocking. Oh that's right, sugar brother. I was like,
- 4:08Speaker 2: how did we get here? I can't remember conversationally? Now
- 4:12Speaker 2: I remember Hunter's sugar brother.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You brought it up. You thought at some point, Hunter
- 4:17Speaker 1: sugar brother is going to reach for his junk.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's what I would think. Why are you
- 4:22Speaker 2: laying all this money? Oh wait a minute.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But he's in a difficult position. He can't just like
- 4:32Speaker 1: wriggle off the couch and go to another room and
- 4:34Speaker 1: not talk about it. Hey, dude, I gave you five
- 4:37Speaker 1: million dollars and penitentiary for tax problems right now if
- 4:42Speaker 1: I hadn't paid them for you bro, So anyway, yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 1: so come on now, be a little more uh.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Be a little more open minded accommodating.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Of Hunter Biden's track record. I mean he might have
- 5:01Speaker 3: a shot, you know, that's true.
- 5:03Speaker 1: That's true, that's true. At least he can't get pregnant.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Hunter that's the upside. So I opened the segment with
- 5:13Speaker 1: Peter holding my ears back. That's from a famous Family
- 5:16Speaker 1: Guy clip in which they all vomit a lot. You
- 5:19Speaker 1: can look it up on YouTube. It is hilarious.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It is one of the funniest things I've ever seen
- 5:24Speaker 2: in my life. It is disgusting, but it is funny.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, me and the kids probably watch it twice a year.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Laughed till we cry. But my son, who caught strap
- 5:37Speaker 1: from me, I didn't know one of the symptoms of
- 5:41Speaker 1: strap as you vomit a lot when you try to
- 5:43Speaker 1: eat or take medicine.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I don't know that it is. I don't remember that
- 5:48Speaker 2: being an aspect of it either.
- 5:49Speaker 3: When you were talking about this earlier, I looked it
- 5:51Speaker 3: up and not one of the websites on the Google
- 5:55Speaker 3: said anything about nausea or vomiting.
- 5:57Speaker 1: When it comes to story. That is interest because the
- 6:01Speaker 1: doctor brought it up to me and I and I said, yeah,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I've been. I didn't ever throw up, but I had
- 6:06Speaker 1: to pull over to the side of the road and
- 6:08Speaker 1: get out of the car when I was taking the
- 6:09Speaker 1: kids to the park and spit on the ground for
- 6:12Speaker 1: like five minutes. Thinking I was going to throw up
- 6:15Speaker 1: before I got back in the car and drove off,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and the uh, the doctor said, yeah, that's a that's
- 6:19Speaker 1: a thing that can go with STRAP, And so I
- 6:22Speaker 1: stopped taking any medicine. So that's one of the reasons
- 6:24Speaker 1: I felt so horrible. Every time I tried to take
- 6:27Speaker 1: ibuprofen or tiland all or anything like that, I would
- 6:29Speaker 1: think I was gonna yeah. Anyway, So my son was
- 6:32Speaker 1: having the same situation yesterday all day long, and he
- 6:34Speaker 1: probably threw up half a dozen times, and I was thinking,
- 6:39Speaker 1: how fortunate it is that I do not have the
- 6:42Speaker 1: if I ceased, I don't do the chain reaction thing.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Seeing somebody else throw up doesn't make me throw up,
- 6:46Speaker 1: doesn't make it doesn't bother me at all. It has
- 6:47Speaker 1: no effect on me whatsoever. It's it's the same as
- 6:50Speaker 1: if they I don't know, and they left breadcrumbs on
- 6:53Speaker 1: the couch and I had to clean them up and
- 6:55Speaker 1: just luckily. But if you are you that way, either
- 6:59Speaker 1: one of you, any bunny Michael that you other people
- 7:02Speaker 1: make you sick if they're sick, because it's pretty.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Typically enjoy cleaning it up or anything. But no, it wouldn't.
- 7:12Speaker 2: There was no chain reaction. I mean, I'm sickened by it.
- 7:14Speaker 2: It doesn't make me physically sick, though.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I've known a number of people that if they see
- 7:19Speaker 1: somebody vomit, they vomit. It's so funny.
- 7:22Speaker 3: My husband's like that, and it actually makes me laugh because,
- 7:26Speaker 3: you know, if we're somewhere and somebody gets sick and
- 7:28Speaker 3: I'll see them getting Like we went to a theme
- 7:30Speaker 3: park and some kid was puking and I saw the
- 7:32Speaker 3: kid and I just looked at Drew like, oh, here
- 7:33Speaker 3: it comes, you know, oh man, h wow.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So yaws are contagious, and the technical or yawn is
- 7:41Speaker 2: contagious as well.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah, technical or yawn also contagious. I don't know how
- 7:47Speaker 1: you deal with your kids if you have that. That
- 7:49Speaker 1: would make for a really long day. They're sick, then
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're sick, and it's just and then you get into
- 7:54Speaker 1: that every parent's been in this and just the non
- 7:57Speaker 1: stop washing machine, dryer, going of owls and blankets and everything.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Everybody's walking around equipped with a trash can.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Somebody wanting to have children, I'm excited about all of this.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it's part of the deal. Definitely part of
- 8:14Speaker 1: the deal. Luckily he was pretty good. He was he's
- 8:16Speaker 1: getting older, got it. Got the bowl most of the time,
- 8:19Speaker 1: So that's good as opposed to when they're little kids
- 8:21Speaker 1: and it's just everywhere all the time.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Oh my god, your go ahead.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Well no, when he says the bowl, is that the
- 8:31Speaker 3: universal big plastic bowl that is used to.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Alorn having a big Yeah, the big popcorn bowl? Or
- 8:38Speaker 1: are we serve salad in it?
- 8:39Speaker 2: That was the Oh lord, no, that's too shallow. The
- 8:43Speaker 2: trash cans the perfect receptacle. The bathroom size trash can.
- 8:48Speaker 1: That's what you keep next to people when they are
- 8:51Speaker 1: feeling ill. Doesn't seem like, doesn't seem that handy for
- 8:55Speaker 1: laying on the couch or and better whatnot?
- 8:58Speaker 2: In what sense I mean? Is you put the trash
- 9:01Speaker 2: can in the bed?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Oh next next to it?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like that's asking for an extra step.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I like to have the bowl like right next to
- 9:12Speaker 1: their head and then just turn over and do their thing.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Well, I mean, if their health was like extremely terrible,
- 9:19Speaker 2: we never had any Yeah, I was reaching for it
- 9:21Speaker 2: and there's just no time.
- 9:23Speaker 1: So how does everybody feel about it? So then I
- 9:25Speaker 1: will wash that bowl and it'll be the same bowl
- 9:27Speaker 1: we serve salad in like Wednesday night. I would throw
- 9:30Speaker 1: that bowl away. Yeah really, yes.
- 9:33Speaker 2: No, of course not. You wash it out. It's fine.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Don't be a baby.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I've been using the same bowl for popcorn and salads
- 9:39Speaker 1: since they were little kids. And also the vomitball. You're right,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you're right, you're right, Michael. It costs like a dollar
- 9:49Speaker 1: and a half, I think, so having a separate one
- 9:52Speaker 1: probably wouldn't be that big a deal. But Joe thinks
- 9:55Speaker 1: you're too fancy.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you talking about? Wash it and it'll
- 10:00Speaker 2: be fine. Stop it. Puking is actually an evolutionary miracle
- 10:05Speaker 2: in that kids and pregnant ladies are much more likely
- 10:10Speaker 2: to puke kids because their immune system isn't fully formed
- 10:14Speaker 2: and is robust as an adults. And so if the
- 10:17Speaker 2: body thinks, you know, I'm not sure this should be
- 10:19Speaker 2: in me, let's just get rid of it. In the
- 10:20Speaker 2: same way that the pregnant woman is, you know, dealing
- 10:22Speaker 2: with herself and her fetus. It's like, mem I'm not
- 10:26Speaker 2: sure about this, We're getting rid of it. You go
- 10:28Speaker 2: to it. It's like having a different safety protocol for
- 10:31Speaker 2: what goes into your stomach, so it makes sense.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I wonder how many of us have had our lives
- 10:37Speaker 1: saved by vomiting, whether we vomited up some bad food
- 10:40Speaker 1: or too much alcohol that might have killed us if
- 10:42Speaker 1: it actually stayed in our stomach.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Saved by vomiting, the Joe Getty story. I don't know
- 10:51Speaker 2: some of us, maybe a few of us.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Well, I guess that's it.
