- 0:00Donald Trump has done something else that I cannot support.
- 0:04This leads me to worry that have conservatives actually lost their way because
- 0:09it sure seems like they might have.
- 0:11Gavin Newsom signs a bill into law that will further lead this country away
- 0:16from our founding principles.
- 0:17And I hate to say that I told you so, but I told you so. This is Gene and you're
- 0:23listening to Dumbasses Talking Politics.
- 0:28Hey hey welcome back to dumbasses talking politics i hope you had a great weekend,
- 0:34mine was kind of just there so anyway let's get to it you know i usually i was
- 0:40going to do this last night and i decided no i got to do it in the morning i
- 0:43just wake up early and then i noticed gosh now i know why i don't do it the night before,
- 0:48stuff just happens and it happens a lot So there are two big stories.
- 0:53First off, let's bring up this story about Krista Gale Pike.
- 0:58This is the broad murder, vicious, brutal, cruel, unrepentant murder,
- 1:06who murdered a gal back in 1995, a Colleen Slemmer. Let's not forget her.
- 1:12And apparently I mean, murdered her Beat her in the head with a brick.
- 1:19Slashed her throat Six times Just very cruel Broke her skull Kept part of her
- 1:27skull As a souvenir This was a wonderful woman This was a burgeoning serial killer.
- 1:34Anyway, no repentance. When she was given the death sentence,
- 1:39she was like, okay, I'm giving the death sentence. Whatever.
- 1:42You got to do what you got to do.
- 1:44And then they botched a 30 years later, they gave her the death penalty through
- 1:50a lethal injection and they botched it.
- 1:53And essentially what I told you last week was, you know, they stuck the needle.
- 1:57It probably went through her vein and then into her tissue. And that's exactly
- 2:01what they are now saying it did, that they missed the vein.
- 2:05By the way, here's some dirty little secret. They missed the vein at the hospital
- 2:11too when they tried to revive her.
- 2:13So it's something's wrong with her veins there. Who knows? Bad diet,
- 2:18not enough water, just an evil whore that needed to die. And God said,
- 2:23no, just, yeah, let's let her suffer. Well, she's brain dead.
- 2:28So I guess we can go out and say that the execution wasn't botched,
- 2:34that it did whatever it was supposed to do.
- 2:37And I know her attorneys are talking about, oh, the cruelty,
- 2:40the cruelty, the cruelty. I don't care.
- 2:42I personally think you don't want cruelty. Well, then do firing squads.
- 2:47Do hanging, do something, do... Let's bring back to guillotine.
- 2:51If you really are worried about the cruelty that the suffering she's going through,
- 2:55first off, if she's brain dead, she is not suffering.
- 2:58She's gone. She's basically dead.
- 3:00So congratulations, Tennessee You had a successful execution And.
- 3:08Couldn't have happened to a better person And if she suffered a little bit,
- 3:13It still is far less than what that poor Slemmer had to go through Colleen Slemmer
- 3:18had to go through in 1995 In other news We really need to start watching who comes into our country,
- 3:29and know who they are because there are other countries, our enemies,
- 3:34that seem to come into this country and do whatever the hell they want.
- 3:38And they just come and go whenever they want, causing all sorts of havoc or
- 3:44running their rules, their laws from their country in our country.
- 3:49In this case, we're talking about China.
- 3:51So China has been known to have secret police in the United States.
- 3:57They've got a police force in Texas by the Chinese consulate.
- 4:03We knew that. That was a big thing.
- 4:06California we know they're running illegal businesses in California We know
- 4:10they're donating to certain political parties I'll let you guess which ones,
- 4:14We know that's happening,
- 4:16The books have been written about this stuff No one seems to really do anything about it Well,
- 4:22I guess they caught somebody.
- 4:25This is from Fox News. A California realtor accused of spying on a Taiwanese
- 4:29official's family for Beijing was arrested at LAX as she tried to leave for
- 4:33China, federal authorities announced on Sunday.
- 4:38Wang Yingzhen, 34 of Irvine, also known as Heather, allegedly worked with an
- 4:44associate to photograph or record the family outside their Seattle home,
- 4:49according to the criminal complaint obtained by Fox News Digital.
- 4:53Now, understand something about China. China is not done with Taiwan.
- 4:57China has a lot of plans for Taiwan. They are going to evade eventually.
- 5:02They're not going to do it under Trump. They're waiting for a Democrat to become
- 5:06the president, especially after what we've done with Iran.
- 5:10But they are not giving up on Taiwan And what they're doing here Is exactly
- 5:15what they typically do They're hunting them down They're hunting these Taiwanese down,
- 5:21And they will either disappear Or have heart attacks or something But these
- 5:29people are dangerous And they don't care where they have to go They don't care
- 5:34if they have to come to the United States,
- 5:36They'll come to the United States They'll use their visas If they have people in the United States.
- 5:42They will contact them And they will say, hey, go do this Is this gal a full-fledged spy?
- 5:48Probably not She's a real estate agent in Irvine,
- 5:52But she's in bed enough with the Chinese government That when they say something,
- 5:57she'll do it By the way, that's how Islam works too Now I've given you the definition
- 6:03of Islam Which is a theology,
- 6:07a political movement And a military doctrine Versus Muslims Which are basically,
- 6:14Just people who follow the religion,
- 6:17Here's the reality. Muslims have to follow Islam.
- 6:21And if an Islamist decides to contact a Muslim, there's a 50% chance that Muslim
- 6:27is going to do what he needs to do because that's part of the religion.
- 6:32Same thing with China. Communism, I know China is not a big fan of religion,
- 6:40but communism to the communists is a religion.
- 6:45I'm reading a fantastic book called The Naked Communists This was written back
- 6:49in the 70s about communism It is actually a book used.
- 6:56By the FBI and the CIA To understand the psychology of a communist and understand
- 7:02their behaviors Guess what?
- 7:04The communists haven't changed from 1970, 1960, 1950 to today It's the same
- 7:10thing You talk to socialists or technically they're communists You talk to them,
- 7:16you listen to AOC, you listen to Mom Donnie, you listen to even Gavin Newsom to an extent.
- 7:23They all have the same ideas. They all share the same theology,
- 7:27and that theology is communism.
- 7:30Okay, so she's being arrested for not reporting herself as a foreign agent,
- 7:36which means she's just going to get slapped on the wrist and deported if she's an immigrant.
- 7:43I think she probably is. She's just going to get slapped on the wrist,
- 7:46maybe serve three. She's probably already out on bail and then be deported back to China.
- 7:53There's nothing that's going to happen to this gal.
- 7:56So this stuff just happened today. I decided to go over it. Maybe if there's
- 8:00more news on it, I'll bring it up tomorrow.
- 8:03But I mean, I am literally reading this stuff right now.
- 8:08OK, so let's get let's get to some more news. Donald Trump's first term was
- 8:12fantastic. I got to tell you, his second term. And if you listen to my podcast
- 8:17that I released last Friday, his second term is very good. There's no question.
- 8:21But he is doing something.
- 8:24He is not as good as he was before because he seems to be worried about the
- 8:30elections and leaning closer and closer to the same thoughts that the leftists are believing.
- 8:38Okay. And that is giving away free shit.
- 8:41And I really don't like this. I don't think we need this. And he seems to do
- 8:45this before every election.
- 8:47So this is what he's doing now. And I think this is indicative of a bigger problem
- 8:53with the Republican Party. and we need to talk a little bit about it.
- 8:56According to the AP News, Donald Trump is promising more payments to voters
- 9:01just ahead of the November 3rd midterms, this time to more than 20 million seniors,
- 9:06giving them $90 each to pay for Medicare payments.
- 9:10The announcement, made late Friday night by Trump on social media,
- 9:15comes after the president last month said about 1 million people would get rebate
- 9:19checks of $500 for Affordable Care Act premiums.
- 9:25He also promised on the campaign trail to send every American adult $5,000 if
- 9:31Republicans retain control of the House and Senate in the midterm elections.
- 9:37That pledge, which would require approval from Congress, would likely cost more
- 9:41than $1 trillion, adding to the deficit and worsening inflation.
- 9:44Of course, Let's understand something. This is coming from the AP News.
- 9:48So they're always going to put a leftist spin on it.
- 9:51The AP News did not give a rat's ass when Obama and Biden blew out the actual deficit.
- 10:01I mean, the I'm sorry, the world record holder for deficit spending is Barack
- 10:06Obama with with Joe Biden a close second.
- 10:11I
- 10:13Don't want to hear much from the AP News about Donald Trump and his deficit
- 10:17spending. On the other hand, this is a terrible idea.
- 10:22I think the worst thing, I think the problem we're having now is,
- 10:27okay, Republicans are probably going to lose the House and Senate.
- 10:32I think we might keep the Senate, but it looks like we're going to lose the House.
- 10:36The polls are kind of on the rail. I mean, everything is within error.
- 10:43So we might keep both of them, but it's very doubtful.
- 10:47And the one thing that Donald Trump is doing, I don't like, throwing money at the problem.
- 10:53First off, throwing money out there. The $5,000 thing for each American adult
- 10:58is a stupid idea. That's just dumb.
- 11:00Why don't you take that $5,000 for each American adult and just put it into
- 11:04the deficit and try and cut the deficit? That would be much better.
- 11:09And then combine that with cutting spending. Now, I do like Trump in that he
- 11:13has cut some unnecessary bureaucracy, but Trump hasn't cut his spending.
- 11:18His spending is just as bad as Joe Biden's or Barack Obama's.
- 11:22Matter of fact, he'll probably spend the same amount of money that Barack Obama
- 11:26spent after his eight years.
- 11:28I like the fact that he's going out there and kind of trying to slim down entitlements
- 11:33a bit, but he's not slimming them down enough.
- 11:38Republicans seem to have a problem They've got a real messaging problem A serious
- 11:45messaging problem And that messaging problem has to do with They don't know
- 11:49that our ideas Conservative ideas.
- 11:54Republican ideas Republicans aren't all conservative Donald Trump's not a conservative,
- 11:57by the way Republican ideas are better than Democrat ideas Democrat ideas are crazy They're crazy,
- 12:04All a Republican needs to do is compare our policies to their policies.
- 12:10That's all you have to do is go out there and compare the policies,
- 12:14compare the fiscal policies.
- 12:17When you've got a Mamdani or
- 12:19you've got an AOC who's probably going to run in 2028 or a Kamala Harris,
- 12:25sit back and just compare Kamala Harris's Medicare for all, which is what is
- 12:30being pushed now by the Democrats and basically tear that apart and say exactly what needs to happen,
- 12:37which is basically as we need to clean up the medical system,
- 12:40but we need to clean up the medical system because the government has its sticky
- 12:43little fingers and everything.
- 12:45We need to get the government out of the medical system.
- 12:49We need to say, here's why drug prices are so high.
- 12:54And then, you know, like we talked about on Friday, drug prices have gone down.
- 12:59No one's quite touting that. Why are they not touting that? Drug prices have gone down.
- 13:06And they've gone down because the government sat there and said,
- 13:09well, you know, believe it or not, Donald Trump used the free market to lower,
- 13:14drug prices, not government regulations or anything. He took away regulations.
- 13:21And that's how the drug prices went down. That is the messaging. Explain it. Explain it.
- 13:29And here's the thing. You can't keep talking about what you did in the past.
- 13:32You need to talk about what's happening now.
- 13:35Because elections, Dana Perino said this on The Five, and I really like this.
- 13:41Elections are about the future. They're not about the past. That's why the closing
- 13:45of the border is not a big deal.
- 13:47But here's the problem. You get a Democratic Congress, you get a Democratic
- 13:51president, those borders are going to be wide open again.
- 13:54You need to sit there and point out that Democrats only give a damn about foreigners
- 14:00because that's their voting base. Look at New York.
- 14:05New York has something like 45% immigrant. It's some crazy number.
- 14:08I'm making that up. I'm not sure what it is, but it's way high.
- 14:12I know it's way high because I have seen the number before and I just can't
- 14:16remember what it is, but that's who they care about. They don't care about the American citizen.
- 14:21Okay, so Donald, Don, Don, President Trump, whatever, could you do me a favor?
- 14:27Just get mess, do what needs to be done. Don't shower people with money.
- 14:32It's just going to raise inflation.
- 14:34It's just going to cost more.
- 14:38If you think tariffs are the way to go, explain why.
- 14:42Because I don't think they're working. Well, they're not as bad as they're made
- 14:45out to be, but they're not working either.
- 14:48Just explain your positions because here's the reality your positions are good,
- 14:53and stop trying to buy off people that's unnecessary let the democrats do that
- 14:59and then when they get elected fail,
- 15:01because you're going to do this and if you fail you better believe cnn msnbc ap news,
- 15:07all of the news media is going to sit there and say you failed,
- 15:10all right gavin newsom california California is becoming a crap hole state so
- 15:18much so I mean I all weekend.
- 15:21I'm lucky the power did not go out once it did not go out once that was fantastic,
- 15:27but every tower cell tower in the area was shut down so I would lose cell service,
- 15:34all day I did lose internet because they shut down all the cell towers because
- 15:40we have Santa Ana winds and 103 degree temperatures.
- 15:44So it's, I lost communication with the world for a while. So that kind of sucked.
- 15:49But Gavin Newsom is now moving into the world of Islam and basically,
- 15:57you know, I can't put up a, we can't put up a nativity scene on Christmas,
- 16:03in a, in a public spot.
- 16:06I can't set up a cross Yes.
- 16:08In my backyard without getting sued. But let's make official holidays of Islamist holidays.
- 16:16Okay, so according to the California Post, California Governor Gavin Newsom
- 16:21signed into law a bill that formally recognizes two Muslim holidays as state
- 16:26holidays on Sunday, making it, and notice it's on Sunday.
- 16:31Yeah, it's the Christian day of go to church. It's the holy day.
- 16:36And I think the other reason he did it on a Sunday It kind of hides it The media
- 16:41isn't really out on a Sunday I think he knows this isn't a popular idea.
- 16:47Making it the second state to formally recognize holidays statewide.
- 16:51California Assembly Bill 2017 officially added Ayd al-Fatar and Ayd al-Hadha,
- 16:58to the list of state holidays, which would permit public schools and colleges
- 17:02to close and allow state employees to be,
- 17:05eligible to observe those holidays. Oh, well, goody.
- 17:10The public schools and colleges will get the option to close?
- 17:15Yeah, let me get it. That law is actually worse than I thought it was.
- 17:19I thought it would give employees the option not to come to work.
- 17:22Apparently, no, they can close the public schools. Guess what's going to happen
- 17:26on Ied al-Fatir and Ied al-Daha? They're going to close the public schools.
- 17:32Frickin' incredible. I mean, they don't even really have a holiday for frickin' Easter.
- 17:40Did you know that? California doesn't really have an official holiday for Easter.
- 17:43Easter is officially closed. Sunday is an official day, but it's just called
- 17:50a spring break. They don't actually call it Easter break anymore.
- 17:55And typically you have to go back to school the day after Easter.
- 17:58So there really is no official recognition
- 18:01of Easter. And that is the most important holiday to Christians.
- 18:05Everyone loves Christmas, but that's because everyone loves Christmas.
- 18:08Christmas isn't the most important holiday.
- 18:12Allow state okay however schools and businesses will not be required to close
- 18:16on these days and courts will be required to stay open,
- 18:19this makes california the second state in the country after washington state
- 18:23there's a freaking shock to pass a statewide legislation recognizing the muslim holidays,
- 18:29before signing ab-217 newsom had multiple bills on his desk that provided protections
- 18:35and exemptions for other religious observances including jewish holidays such
- 18:40as Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
- 18:44Okay Again that's just trying to Even the soil so it Makes it easier this law wasn't a good law,
- 18:52And I think Gavin Newsom knows it that's why he signs it on a Sunday he would sign this On a Tuesday,
- 18:59And have all sorts of Media around him and They'd be celebrating and he'd be
- 19:05Hending out pens I never heard about this until I caught it on Twitter.
- 19:10So I told you this was going to happen. Another thing I told you was going to
- 19:15happen was that we're going to have a big, I just told you this last week,
- 19:20we're going to have a big problem with the MAID program coming to the United States.
- 19:26If you don't remember the MAID program, MAID stands for Medical Assistance in Dying.
- 19:31It is a statewide program in Canada.
- 19:34And now it's looking like 5% to 7% of Canadians are dying from the MAID program.
- 19:43So suddenly MAID is becoming one of the top killers in Canada.
- 19:49And by the way, it's all white people. They're just killing white people.
- 19:52It's insane what they're doing up in Canada.
- 19:55And I told you it's coming to the United States. Illinois just signed it into law That fat J.B.
- 20:02Pritzker actually signed it in I loved, again, I'm going to point this out Do
- 20:07you notice everybody who's for the MAID program is for Medicare for All?
- 20:12Every person, Canada, huge Medicare for All country And they don't have enough
- 20:18medical care And so now they have to start killing the patients.
- 20:22Anyway, so this is from Perplexity. I heard this yesterday and I was like, oh, wow.
- 20:29Four orders of Catholic nuns joined a Catholic health care organization and
- 20:34the diocese of Rockville Center sued New York officials and federal court over
- 20:39the state's new Medical Aid and Dying Act.
- 20:42The central claim is that the law's counseling, referral, documentation,
- 20:46and accommodation requirements
- 20:48could force religious ministries to facilitate physician-assisted suicide in
- 20:54violation of their Catholic beliefs and federal constitutional conscience protections.
- 21:00The lawsuit plaintiffs include the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm,
- 21:06the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, the Missionary Sisters of St.
- 21:10Benedict, the Little Sisters of the Poor, the Diocese of Rockville Center,
- 21:15and Bishop John O'Barris, several Catholic health care ministries,
- 21:20including Catholic Health.
- 21:22The lawsuit was filed on July 17th in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
- 21:30It names, that's good, by the way, that's good.
- 21:33It might actually, there might be a conservative judge there that will say,
- 21:36yeah, this is crap, you're not doing it.
- 21:38It names the New York Attorney General Letitia James and state health officials,
- 21:43not Hochul personally, as defendants, although the challenge is to the law Hochul signed.
- 21:50Now, one of the things I do point out here, I want you to remember this.
- 21:56The central claim of the lawsuits is the documentation, the process to allow yourself.
- 22:05To commit suicide by medical assistance. And the law does not specifically say
- 22:11That religious ministries Health centers have to do it yet But it could Make
- 22:18them, force them To do this,
- 22:20Now remember the slippery slope Here it is Abortion was something that,
- 22:27Catholic run hospitals didn't have to do.
- 22:31And then what did they try to do? What the Democrats tried to do?
- 22:34I believe this was in California.
- 22:36They actually tried to make the Catholic hospitals like our Catholic hospital in St.
- 22:41John's in Los Angeles. That is a Catholic hospital. It is run by priests and nuns.
- 22:48The doctors are all paid by the diocese.
- 22:51Okay. It's an expensive hospital, Very nice hospital But that hospital It's
- 22:56an expensive hospital Because you have to help pay For your medical treatment
- 23:00But most of it's community based.
- 23:03That hospital was going to be forced by California to provide abortions,
- 23:07even though the law initially said, well, you don't have to provide abortions,
- 23:13but the law says that they can eventually force you if they want to.
- 23:18And that's a huge problem for the Catholic diocese.
- 23:22So the kicker, the thing, what the nuns are saying is, and New York,
- 23:27I think, had the same law with abortion.
- 23:29What the nuns are basically saying is, we're not doing this.
- 23:32We're suing you before you can actually force us to do this.
- 23:36Suicide is a mortal sin in the Catholic faith.
- 23:40I think in most Christianity, I know there are some versions of Christianity
- 23:46that are okay with it, but it is considered a mortal sin. It's murder.
- 23:51So they cannot do this. This is not a thing that Catholic nuns can do.
- 23:56The kicker is if any of these guys actually get state or federal help,
- 24:01That state can withhold that state money And I think that's what they tried to do with abortion,
- 24:08Okay, what the law does Hochul signed,
- 24:12the New York's medical aid in dying on February 6th It,
- 24:15permits certain mentally capable, terminally ill adult New York residents Generally
- 24:22those expected to have six months or less to live
- 24:25To request medication that they may self-administer to end their lives A clinician
- 24:31can prescribe the medication but does not administer it.
- 24:35If the intent is to prescribe medication to someone that you know is going to
- 24:43use the medication to kill themselves, you are administering it.
- 24:49You are directly responsible for that.
- 24:54I also want to be careful here. Notice the words. It permits certain mentally
- 24:58capable, terminally ill adults in New York residents to be able to get the drugs
- 25:06they need to kill themselves.
- 25:07Canada had the same law.
- 25:10And then I guarantee you, if we actually read the law, there's somewhere in
- 25:14there that says this law can be expanded without voter approval.
- 25:18That is wording that is always used in these documents.
- 25:23I guarantee you there's something in there Because in Canada,
- 25:26that's exactly what the MAID Act had They suddenly expanded it to not people
- 25:32who were ill Terminally ill They expanded it to people who had chronic pain,
- 25:38They expanded it to people who had depression.
- 25:44Mental health problems Anybody who would have any long-term pre-existing conditions,
- 25:52now is eligible for the MAID program in Canada. I got news here.
- 25:56It's going to be the same thing here.
- 25:58New York, it's going to be the same thing in frickin' Illinois,
- 26:01Washington, Oregon, California, Massachusetts, Virginia.
- 26:08All the same criminals out there. It's going to be the same states that are
- 26:12all going to do the same thing.
- 26:15Hochul's position is that participation
- 26:17is voluntary and that religious facilities can opt out for now.
- 26:25And I guarantee you there is that clause in that bill that says it can be expanded.
- 26:33So why are the nuns objecting? Well, besides the fact that, I don't know,
- 26:39medically assisted suicide is immoral and shows a real problem with our culture,
- 26:46that suicide, killing ourselves is okay, is a real sickness that we need to
- 26:52overcome, that seems like it's kind of an important reason to object to this.
- 26:58But let's listen to what Danette said.
- 27:00The Catholic plaintiffs do not contend that they would have to directly prescribe
- 27:06or administer the drugs.
- 27:07Rather, they argue that the statute and related patient information requirements
- 27:11may compel them to do things they consider consider participation,
- 27:16such as, here we go, counseling patients about assisted suicide. Yep, yep.
- 27:22That's exactly what California did with abortion policies.
- 27:26Discussing eligibility or access to life-ending medication.
- 27:30Making referrals or transfers to providers who participate.
- 27:34Adopting policies or record keeping that supports the patient's pursuit of the procedure.
- 27:40Permitting staff to assist patients in navigating the process within their facilities.
- 27:45In other words, you've got a mole.
- 27:47You've got someone in there that really thinks that you should be able to kill
- 27:50yourself, and then that person starts recommending that all the old Catholics go kill themselves.
- 27:56They're absolutely correct, by the way, everything they said.
- 27:59They say those duties conflict with the Catholic teaching, which regards euthanasia
- 28:04and physician-assisted suicide as morally impermissible.
- 28:10It's a mortal sin. It's like.
- 28:15If I murdered my next-door neighbor, it's considered the same thing.
- 28:19Killing myself and killing my next-door neighbor is considered the same thing.
- 28:23I have no right to kill myself Any more than I have a right to kill my neighbor,
- 28:27Their legal theories include the First Amendment's free exercise clause,
- 28:31the Federal Health Care Conscience protections, and the Federal Health Care
- 28:36Conscience protections.
- 28:38So I like that. The Health Care Conscience, that's the oath the doctors take. Do no harm.
- 28:45I personally think that's one of the reasons why any doctor that does the MAID
- 28:49program, Dr. Kevorkian was an example. I don't know if you remember Dr. Kevorkian.
- 28:54He's the first doctor that actually promoted assisted suicide.
- 28:59This is way back. I think it was in the 80s. This was way back.
- 29:02And he was actually taken to court and criminally charged.
- 29:07And I'm not sure if they ever took, maybe I have to look that up.
- 29:09I'm not sure if they ever took his license away because he violated his oath to do no harm.
- 29:15But yeah, this is a great argument because the First Amendment's free exercise
- 29:21clause, Well, the state can just argue, we're not stopping you.
- 29:24You don't have to participate.
- 29:28But the other thing is the federal health care conscience protections,
- 29:32that's kind of harder to argue because
- 29:34the doctor is not supposed to kill patients. That's part of his job.
- 29:37OK, I hope you guys have a great day. We'll talk to you tomorrow.
- 29:42God bless. This is Gene. And you've listened to Dumbass is Talking Politics.
