Latest / The Vault: The Epstein Files / The Russian Intelligence Allegations Now Haunting Peter Mandelson
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. When Peter Mandelson was first arrested, I told
- 0:09Speaker 1: you that it was going to be big trouble for
- 0:10Speaker 1: him if he had anything else to hide. Well, here
- 0:14Speaker 1: we are. And now it's coming out that Peter Mandelson
- 0:18Speaker 1: was considered a privileged Russian contact. So not only was
- 0:24Speaker 1: he passing sensitive information to Jeffrey Epstein, he was also
- 0:28Speaker 1: a privileged Russian contact. Whatever that means. Now he'll say
- 0:33Speaker 1: that it's no big deal, right? Ah, that just means
- 0:36Speaker 1: I was, you know, friendly with some people over in Russia.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Whatever the spin's gonna be. But it's obviously a lot
- 0:42Speaker 1: more than that. And the question becomes, was Peter Mandelson
- 0:47Speaker 1: selling state secrets to get rich? And I know it's
- 0:52Speaker 1: uncomfortable to ask that question, but it sure looks like
- 0:56Speaker 1: Peter Mandelson was engaging in espionage. And that, of course,
- 1:00Speaker 1: means he committed treason. And if all of that stuff
- 1:04Speaker 1: pans out, I really wonder where the UK government goes.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Does Mandelson get the death penalty? When's the last time
- 1:13Speaker 1: that happened over in the UK? So shit just got
- 1:17Speaker 1: real serious for Peter Mandelson. And today we have an
- 1:22Speaker 1: article from the International Business Times digging a bit deeper
- 1:26Speaker 1: into the topic. Headline, Lord Peter Mandelson is Russia's privileged contact,
- 1:33Speaker 1: according to a leaked dossier. This article was authored by
- 1:37Speaker 1: Jujime Owit. Did former MP Lord Peter Mandelson work for Russia?
- 1:46Speaker 1: According to leaked intelligence dossier, Lord Mandelson, a former U.S. ambassador,
- 1:51Speaker 1: was a privileged contact by Russian intelligence agencies for more
- 1:54Speaker 1: than 30 years. Yo, this is crazy. We're talking about
- 1:59Speaker 1: one of the most prolific English politicians over the last
- 2:04Speaker 1: few decades possibly being compromised? That is a serious, serious allegation.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And it makes you wonder just how much information, how
- 2:14Speaker 1: many secrets, if all of this is true, have been
- 2:18Speaker 1: passed on by Lord Mandelson. And I think the answer
- 2:23Speaker 1: is very disconcerting, especially considering who we're dealing with. The
- 2:30Speaker 1: leak report reportedly considers Mandelson as the most significant Russian
- 2:34Speaker 1: intelligence services achievement in manipulating UK politics over the last
- 2:39Speaker 1: three decades. The report was shared by a UK broadsheet,
- 2:44Speaker 1: which clarified there is no concrete evidence that backs the claim. Yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 1: where there's smoke, there's fire. And if he was giving
- 2:52Speaker 1: that information to Epstein, do you really think that's where
- 2:54Speaker 1: it stopped and started? Or is it more likely that
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's what he was doing? Gotta supplement that income somehow, huh?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Gotta make sure you get an extra few million. And
- 3:06Speaker 1: what better way to do that than sell secrets to Russia?
- 3:10Speaker 1: You know, they're in the business of paying for that shit.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And don't get it twisted. I don't think Mandelson has
- 3:16Speaker 1: any loyalty to Russia. I think Mandelson has loyalty to self.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Just like his buddy Jeffrey Epstein. However, Mandelson's involvement is
- 3:26Speaker 1: still worth looking into as the disgraced former Labor Party
- 3:30Speaker 1: politician also had links to the late Jeffrey Epstein, a
- 3:34Speaker 1: notorious pedophile. This link was examined in the leaked documents
- 3:38Speaker 1: through a report known as Project Fish. Yo, Mandelson's cooked.
- 3:44Speaker 1: This dude's in big trouble. Now, I don't know if
- 3:47Speaker 1: he's going to end up getting nailed on treason or espionage,
- 3:51Speaker 1: but his life as he knows it is certainly over.
- 3:54Speaker 1: The days of being some big shot British politician, that's done.
- 4:00Speaker 1: and he'll be lucky if he doesn't end up in prison. So,
- 4:05Speaker 1: what is Project Fish? Project Fish is the codename for
- 4:09Speaker 1: a previously confidential dossier on how Russia influenced some British operations.
- 4:14Speaker 1: The report was compiled by a former British spy who
- 4:17Speaker 1: has knowledge about Russian intelligence. While the former MI6 was
- 4:21Speaker 1: not named, all fingers point to Christopher Steele, who ran
- 4:25Speaker 1: the Russia desk between 2006 and 2009. Steele currently runs
- 4:30Speaker 1: Orbis Business Intelligence, a global private investigation consultancy. Okay, hit
- 4:37Speaker 1: the brakes. Christopher Steele? That guy's notoriously a liar. He
- 4:43Speaker 1: embellishes and makes up a bunch of bullshit. So, take
- 4:48Speaker 1: this all with a grain of salt, because you have
- 4:50Speaker 1: to keep in mind, our information is only as good
- 4:54Speaker 1: as our sources. And I really don't find Christopher Steele
- 4:58Speaker 1: to be a reliable source. Mandelson was not the only
- 5:03Speaker 1: UK politician named in the report. Project Fish also examined
- 5:07Speaker 1: British leaders and their possible importance to Russia. It mentioned
- 5:11Speaker 1: former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was described as likable,
- 5:15Speaker 1: but not trustworthy, with startling flashes of instability. So is
- 5:20Speaker 1: this report just going one way? Just one party or whatever?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Because if that's the case, then it's going to be suspect.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Project Fish also noted that Russian intelligence believed that Johnson's
- 5:32Speaker 1: former chief advisor, Dominic Cummings, was secretly working for MI6. Further,
- 5:38Speaker 1: the intelligence dossier stated that MP Nigel Farage was not
- 5:42Speaker 1: worth investing time in. Well, I don't doubt that. Doesn't
- 5:46Speaker 1: exactly seem like the kind of guy that's going to
- 5:48Speaker 1: be jumping in bed with Russia. But when it comes
- 5:51Speaker 1: to money, unfortunately, you just never know. Only Mandelson's link
- 5:57Speaker 1: to Russia had substantial weight But those close to the
- 6:00Speaker 1: former politician called the allegations nonsense and said that Mandelson
- 6:04Speaker 1: never acted improperly against his country to favor Russia. Well,
- 6:08Speaker 1: we'll have to see the evidence, right? We're just supposed
- 6:11Speaker 1: to believe Lord Peter Mandelson? Mr. Stiff Upper Lip himself?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Zero chance. According to Project Fish, KGB first took interest
- 6:22Speaker 1: in Mandelson when he became the Labor Party's Director of
- 6:25Speaker 1: Communications from 1985 to 1990. He was contacted by the
- 6:30Speaker 1: KGB for the first time in about 1990, and since
- 6:33Speaker 1: then has become privileged contact for Russian intelligence. The report read, So,
- 6:39Speaker 1: is there evidence to back that up? Or just another
- 6:44Speaker 1: fanciful creation of Christopher Steele? And considering that he's involved
- 6:49Speaker 1: in this, I think we need to have corroborating evidence
- 6:52Speaker 1: that backs up whatever he says. He is an unreliable
- 6:57Speaker 1: narrator as far as I'm concerned. The Russian group continuously
- 7:02Speaker 1: spied on Mandelson until they hit the jackpot with his
- 7:05Speaker 1: ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The relationship was
- 7:10Speaker 1: an important link to manipulate Mandelson to do Russian bidding.
- 7:14Speaker 1: That seems likely. Don't think for a minute that the FSB,
- 7:20Speaker 1: the GRU, and Russian intelligence isn't keeping an eye on things.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And don't think for a minute they're not going to
- 7:27Speaker 1: try and manipulate the Epstein situation to benefit them. Just
- 7:31Speaker 1: like they manipulated the situation while he was alive to
- 7:34Speaker 1: benefit them. You don't think Russia benefited from any of
- 7:38Speaker 1: the intelligence, from any of the information that Jeffrey Epstein had?
- 7:44Speaker 1: But how credible is Project Fish? A Russian-based journalist cast
- 7:48Speaker 1: doubt on the veracity of the report. I'll be shocked
- 7:52Speaker 1: if the source isn't Christopher Steele, Brian McDonald said on
- 7:55Speaker 1: social media. The Trump-Russia dossier guy. It sounds exactly like
- 8:00Speaker 1: his news cycle, Adjacent Fantasies. I don't like Mandelson, but
- 8:04Speaker 1: this claim is nuts. Russia in the early 90s was
- 8:07Speaker 1: broke and chaotic. Could barely run Russia, let alone a
- 8:11Speaker 1: minor UK opposition MP, McDonald also said. There is some
- 8:16Speaker 1: validity to that. And look, I'm not jumping to any
- 8:19Speaker 1: conclusions yet. Let's see the evidence, right? But this is
- 8:22Speaker 1: what's being reported. And considering we know for a fact
- 8:26Speaker 1: that he passed information on to Epstein, I don't find
- 8:29Speaker 1: it to be completely out of the realm of possibility.
- 8:31Speaker 1: But again, it's all about the sources, right? And considering
- 8:35Speaker 1: Christopher Steele has been involved in some BS, then I
- 8:40Speaker 1: think that it's a good idea to take it with
- 8:44Speaker 1: a grain of salt. McDonald, an Irishman, was sanctioned by
- 8:48Speaker 1: the UK in 2022 because of his work for a
- 8:51Speaker 1: Russian network. He referred to Steele as the Trump dossier
- 8:55Speaker 1: guy because Steele authored the controversial Trump-Russia dossier in 2017,
- 9:01Speaker 1: detailing the relationship between U.S. President Trump and Russian President
- 9:05Speaker 1: Vladimir Putin. And that dossier, I know a lot of
- 9:09Speaker 1: you don't want to hear this shit, but here's the truth.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That dossier has led to Trump being able to get
- 9:14Speaker 1: away with this cover-up with Epstein. It's given him that
- 9:18Speaker 1: political cover because now he can point to everything. as
- 9:22Speaker 1: a gigantic hoax, and as a scam to try and
- 9:26Speaker 1: get him. And all he has to do is point
- 9:29Speaker 1: back to the dossier that was obviously a bunch of
- 9:31Speaker 1: bullshit from the very beginning. And I remember when I
- 9:34Speaker 1: was pointing that out, there was a lot of people
- 9:36Speaker 1: out there that were like, well, what are you, defending Trump? Well, no,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm not defending anybody, but this is obviously BS. And
- 9:47Speaker 1: if something's BS, it's BS. I don't care what political
- 9:50Speaker 1: party it favors. If you want that kind of nonsense,
- 9:54Speaker 1: that kind of commentary, go listen to Hassan. Or go
- 9:57Speaker 1: listen to one of those idiot political commentators. I'm here
- 10:02Speaker 1: calling balls and strikes and I told you all those
- 10:05Speaker 1: years ago that the whole entire Russia thing smelled like
- 10:09Speaker 1: an operation and the truth is a lot of people
- 10:12Speaker 1: don't even understand what the FISA court is they didn't
- 10:15Speaker 1: understand it back then and they don't understand it now
- 10:18Speaker 1: But one thing's for sure, that whole entire fiasco that
- 10:22Speaker 1: ended up going nowhere, it gave Donald Trump a whole
- 10:26Speaker 1: bunch of cover for all the bullshit that's come in
- 10:29Speaker 1: the aftermath. And that was my warning then. And guess what?
- 10:32Speaker 1: That shit has come to fruition. That's exactly what he's doing. Oh, well,
- 10:38Speaker 1: it's just like the Russia hoax. This Jeffrey Epstein stuff.
- 10:41Speaker 1: They're out to get me. Meanwhile, there's an obvious cover-up
- 10:45Speaker 1: going on. But when it comes to Mandelson, look, like
- 10:48Speaker 1: I said, I don't take any of this as fact, right?
- 10:52Speaker 1: We have to do more investigating. We have to have
- 10:54Speaker 1: a deeper look. But it's certainly concerning. And it certainly
- 10:58Speaker 1: fits with the pattern of Peter Mandelson giving out state secrets.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So we'll see where it all goes. And we'll see
- 11:04Speaker 1: what the UK government ends up doing with it. And
- 11:08Speaker 1: as far as today goes, relatively slow day in news.
- 11:11Speaker 1: So we're going to get some of those Leslie Groff
- 11:13Speaker 1: episodes posted. As far as her transcripts. And also, we
- 11:18Speaker 1: have some Alec Murdoch news that we have to get
- 11:20Speaker 1: to as well. And we're certainly going to do that.
- 11:24Speaker 1: But until then, that's going to do it for this one.
- 11:27Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
- 11:30Speaker 1: found in the description box.
