- 0:09Speaker 1: Ad vices Low and Low.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host,
- 0:19Speaker 2: Rob Shooter, and it's Tuesday, which means our dear friend
- 0:22Speaker 2: Delena Dixon joins us. Hey, mister, are you there?
- 0:25Speaker 3: I am? I am, and I've just gotten off of
- 0:28Speaker 3: a fabulous weekend with my nephews. I missed them already,
- 0:32Speaker 3: I missed them so much. But we went everywhere, Rob.
- 0:35Speaker 3: We went to the Lion King, we went to Aladdin,
- 0:38Speaker 3: we went to Lego Land Discovery Center. We even went
- 0:41Speaker 3: for sushi and Tim Square.
- 0:44Speaker 2: You are Auntie Mame. They are lucky to have you. Okay,
- 0:48Speaker 2: let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:50Speaker 1: It is tea time.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Big story at the top of the show. So Sui
- 0:54Speaker 2: Cruz turns eighteen and now she's free to talk about scientology.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Let me explain. So, as Suri.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Cruz, who's the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes,
- 1:05Speaker 2: as she turns eighteen, and there's a lot of speculation
- 1:08Speaker 2: about her potential freedom to discuss scientology publicly. Now, Tony
- 1:15Speaker 2: or Tager, that's a namer you should remember. Tony or
- 1:18Speaker 2: Tager is probably the most respected journalist who covers scientology.
- 1:23Speaker 2: This is really his only beat in the same way
- 1:26Speaker 2: that I'm an entertainment expert, so are you, miss I
- 1:29Speaker 2: probably specialize in royals. Being British, I know that world
- 1:32Speaker 2: really really well. You're a TV expert as well as
- 1:35Speaker 2: everything else. Mister Tony is the scientology guy, so when
- 1:39Speaker 2: he speaks, we all listen. Now, he mentioned that Suri
- 1:43Speaker 2: would be free to talk about Scientology now if she chooses.
- 1:48Speaker 2: He does point out that regular members of Scientology who
- 1:53Speaker 2: leave the organization they are known as SP's. That means
- 1:58Speaker 2: suppressive people, and you should disconnect with these people. So
- 2:05Speaker 2: if you and me are scientologist, Misty were not, and
- 2:07Speaker 2: I left the church, I would become an SP and
- 2:10Speaker 2: you would have to end your friendship with me because
- 2:13Speaker 2: I was no longer pont of the church. Now a
- 2:17Speaker 2: lot of people are arguing this is why Tom Cruise
- 2:19Speaker 2: doesn't talk to Suri or Katie Holmes anymore. Neither one
- 2:23Speaker 2: of them are scientologists. But now that she's turned eighteen,
- 2:28Speaker 2: she's free to say whatever she wants. Do you think
- 2:32Speaker 2: Suri is going to reveal all?
- 2:35Speaker 3: I would say The answer to that is probably no.
- 2:40Speaker 3: She didn't grow up in it as much obviously Tom
- 2:43Speaker 3: Cruise as her father, but we know that they did
- 2:45Speaker 3: not spend a lot of time together, so I don't
- 2:47Speaker 3: think this was a part of her normal life. So
- 2:49Speaker 3: for her to speak out on it or speak on
- 2:52Speaker 3: it just doesn't make sense. We haven't heard a lot
- 2:55Speaker 3: from Surrey in her lifetime, so I don't think if
- 2:58Speaker 3: she all of a sudden turned eighteen into to engage
- 3:01Speaker 3: with the public, this is the first thing that she'd
- 3:04Speaker 3: be talking about. Now. Does that mean that she may
- 3:07Speaker 3: start talking about her relationship with her father, Yes, please
- 3:09Speaker 3: make it happen, because we all want it. But I
- 3:12Speaker 3: think scientology would be kind of more of a side
- 3:16Speaker 3: passing than her talking badly. I mean, we know a
- 3:19Speaker 3: lot about scientology from Leah Remney, obviously from King of
- 3:23Speaker 3: wink Queens, who's come out and spoken about how horrible
- 3:26Speaker 3: it is. But for her, for her, I should make
- 3:30Speaker 3: that clear. But I don't think you're going to hear
- 3:32Speaker 3: this from Surrey Cruise. There's I'm sure she has a
- 3:35Speaker 3: lot of other things on her plate she'd rather discuss.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Yeah, she was such a baby when she and her
- 3:40Speaker 2: mother left the religion, so Suri was sort of born
- 3:44Speaker 2: into it at the time Katie Holmes was a Scientologist,
- 3:47Speaker 2: she was married to Tom Cruise, and so Sui was
- 3:50Speaker 2: sort of borning to it. And there's been a lot
- 3:52Speaker 2: of speculation that one of the reasons Katie got divorced
- 3:55Speaker 2: is she didn't want her daughter to grow up being
- 3:57Speaker 2: a scientologist, so I'm told by my so Katie has
- 4:01Speaker 2: really done an amazing job being a single mother. She's
- 4:04Speaker 2: protected Suri and moving forward, she is eighteen now she
- 4:07Speaker 2: can make her own choices. If Suri does want to
- 4:09Speaker 2: speak out, Katie will support her. If she doesn't, she
- 4:12Speaker 2: will support that too. But I'm not really sure there's
- 4:15Speaker 2: much to say here about the religion. She doesn't know it,
- 4:19Speaker 2: she wasn't a member of it. Can she blame it
- 4:21Speaker 2: for breaking up her family? Yes, I think that would
- 4:23Speaker 2: be a very easy argument for her to make. But
- 4:27Speaker 2: the inside details don't expect Suri to have Like Leah
- 4:31Speaker 2: Emoni did. Leah was a member a member of Scientology
- 4:35Speaker 2: for decades. She knew this organization inside out. She knew
- 4:39Speaker 2: the rules, she knew what happened to people that broke
- 4:42Speaker 2: the rules. She knew the good the bad, and she
- 4:44Speaker 2: has revealed all that Suri was a baby once again,
- 4:48Speaker 2: a really really little girl when her mother and she
- 4:53Speaker 2: left scientology. So I don't think she's gonna have a
- 4:56Speaker 2: lot to say there, but about her father, she's gonna
- 4:59Speaker 2: have a lot to say say about that. I'm sure
- 5:01Speaker 2: it must be difficult having one of the most famous
- 5:04Speaker 2: fathers in the world. Do you see on posters, on
- 5:07Speaker 2: the covers of magazines, when you're watching TV, there's always
- 5:10Speaker 2: a reir ring of Missian impossible, Misty. They seem to
- 5:14Speaker 2: be on television every single night. That's her dad, and
- 5:17Speaker 2: that's the man that doesn't really want to see her.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but when you think about it, the other Tom
- 5:23Speaker 3: Cruise children, we don't really hear from them either. I
- 5:26Speaker 3: think that this family or they're the children and the offspring.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I just really wanted to keep things on lockdown. It's like,
- 5:33Speaker 3: sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Give people nothing to work with. And look, if they
- 5:40Speaker 3: don't have a relationship with their father, they're probably indifferent
- 5:43Speaker 3: at this time, so why even bring it up. Maybe
- 5:46Speaker 3: they're dealing with it in therapy, but it just doesn't
- 5:49Speaker 3: seem like something that they're going to come out and
- 5:51Speaker 3: yell to the rest of us.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I think you're probably right, Mitch ste which brings us
- 5:57Speaker 2: to our pole question of the day. So you're to
- 5:59Speaker 2: cruise to and now it's free to talk about scientology.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Our question is quite simple. Should she tell all? What
- 6:09Speaker 2: do you think? I know you wanted to tell all?
- 6:12Speaker 1: That's not the question. We all love a good tell all.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Should she should? Sure? Tell all?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Hey, go vote on a page at Naughty Nice robb
- 6:22Speaker 2: or at Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip. I'm be
- 6:25Speaker 2: sure to check back tomorrow for your results. Hey, mister,
- 6:30Speaker 2: what are you.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Working on that? Well?
- 6:32Speaker 3: Jesse Palmer, who hosts The Bachelor and he hosted The
- 6:35Speaker 3: Golden Bachelor, has finally broken his silence on Jerry Turner's
- 6:39Speaker 3: divorce from Teresa nest And so basically he's just sharing
- 6:44Speaker 3: his support for the couple, even though they're no longer
- 6:47Speaker 3: a couple. They recently announced that they were separating from
- 6:51Speaker 3: one another after three months of marriage. So Jesse shared
- 6:54Speaker 3: a heartfelt message expressing gratitude for having known Jerry and
- 6:58Speaker 3: Teresa and being a part of their journey. He mentioned
- 7:01Speaker 3: learning important lessons about life and love and family from them,
- 7:06Speaker 3: and he wished both of them and their families nothing
- 7:08Speaker 3: but happiness moving forward. Now, this news really sadden a
- 7:13Speaker 3: lot of Bachelor fans. You know, you thought, hey, it's
- 7:16Speaker 3: possible to find love later in life. But Rob, I'm curious,
- 7:21Speaker 3: what do you think was the reason this relationship just
- 7:25Speaker 3: didn't last.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I think it's because of the way they fell in love.
- 7:29Speaker 2: These reality shows just don't work. If we look at
- 7:32Speaker 2: the history of them, more people are not together than
- 7:35Speaker 2: are together. There are a few that are still together,
- 7:37Speaker 2: I acknowledge that, but most of them are not. And
- 7:39Speaker 2: it's just the process. And it makes me really disappointed.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Because I followed the Golden Bachelor. I got sucked into it. Mister,
- 7:46Speaker 2: I was really really watching along every single week. I
- 7:49Speaker 2: even watched their live wedding when they got married on ABC.
- 7:53Speaker 2: And I feel like I've been tricked here. My insiders
- 7:55Speaker 2: are telling me Jesse is doing damage control the Bachelor
- 7:59Speaker 2: of French. No, this is a problem because just a
- 8:03Speaker 2: few weeks ago we watched them get married. It's only
- 8:06Speaker 2: been three months. They should never have got married on
- 8:09Speaker 2: ABC in a televised wedding if there was problems, but
- 8:13Speaker 2: they wanted to because they wanted the attention, they wanted
- 8:15Speaker 2: the money. They got a big fat paycheck from doing
- 8:18Speaker 2: these shows, even though she does have to give the
- 8:20Speaker 2: ring back. But nevertheless, he made a lot of money here.
- 8:23Speaker 2: He now likes being famous. I bumped him to them
- 8:25Speaker 2: at a cocktail party. He loved being a star. And
- 8:27Speaker 2: I don't say that as a criticism, but I think
- 8:30Speaker 2: he enjoyed being a star more than he enjoyed being
- 8:32Speaker 2: a husband. And that's the problem with these type of shows.
- 8:36Speaker 2: We wanted to think, and I really believe this mystery
- 8:39Speaker 2: because of their age. We thought, oh, they're not going
- 8:42Speaker 2: to be in it for the money or the fame.
- 8:45Speaker 2: They're at a period of time in their life when
- 8:48Speaker 2: that doesn't matter. It always matters if you want to
- 8:50Speaker 2: be famous. It don't matter if you're fifteen, sixteen, sixty,
- 8:53Speaker 2: sixty five, eighty five. You want to be famous. Jerry
- 8:57Speaker 2: loves the attention, he loves what this show brought to him,
- 9:00Speaker 2: and all of that is fine. If he also loved
- 9:04Speaker 2: the lady that made him famous. You can't have one
- 9:07Speaker 2: with that the other. I'm told ABC is absolutely spinning
- 9:10Speaker 2: out of control here. They're worried about the ratings for
- 9:13Speaker 2: the next one, because once the public starts to doubt them,
- 9:16Speaker 2: once we start to think this is all fake, it's
- 9:19Speaker 2: all phony, Bloonney, We're gonna stop watching.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Oh you've said so many things in there that are truth, right.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I also think, like, guys, if you couldn't decide where
- 9:30Speaker 3: to live before the wedding, like oh, do we live
- 9:33Speaker 3: in New Jersey or wherever he lived, why did you
- 9:36Speaker 3: think you were going to be able to make a
- 9:37Speaker 3: difference afterwards? And it's like, I know that you were
- 9:40Speaker 3: a certain age, but you know what, there's nothing wrong
- 9:43Speaker 3: with taking some time to know someone. Or you could
- 9:45Speaker 3: have decided just to live in different places but stay married.
- 9:48Speaker 3: So there's a lot going on here. And I think
- 9:51Speaker 3: what happened is you do a show like this and
- 9:53Speaker 3: you think I'm not gonna get caught up in the fame.
- 9:55Speaker 3: And we've been on a TV show, Rob Now we
- 9:57Speaker 3: had a slightly different experience, but there is still a
- 10:00Speaker 3: little something about being on television, having yeah, people writing
- 10:04Speaker 3: to you and having fans and going to parties. It
- 10:07Speaker 3: can go to your head, especially if you've never experienced this.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And that's what has happened with these two. But I
- 10:13Speaker 3: wish them the best of luck. Find out I did.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Two I did too, and I understand what Jesse Palmer
- 10:18Speaker 2: is doing here without the Bachelor of the Golden Bachelor
- 10:21Speaker 2: of the Bachelorette. He doesn't have a job like this
- 10:23Speaker 2: is where he pays his bills, so he wants the
- 10:25Speaker 2: show to be a hit. But they are absolutely spinning
- 10:29Speaker 2: after this announcement to ABC is trying to figure out
- 10:32Speaker 2: the right way to handle it. I'm not sure there
- 10:34Speaker 2: is okay moving along. Aj Simpson will be cremated and
- 10:38Speaker 2: his brain will not be given to science. So the
- 10:41Speaker 2: attorney for OJ's state has confirmed that his body will
- 10:45Speaker 2: be cremated and there are no plans to donate his
- 10:49Speaker 2: brain for scientific research. The reason this is so topical
- 10:54Speaker 2: is many football players suffer with traumatic experience is playing
- 11:01Speaker 2: the game. And even though OJ now is probably more
- 11:04Speaker 2: famous the trial, even though that's really how we think
- 11:08Speaker 2: of him now, he still wants a very successful football
- 11:12Speaker 2: player for a long time. So the scientific community would
- 11:15Speaker 2: love to look at his brain. The estatus said no,
- 11:19Speaker 2: he is going to be cremated. His entire body, including
- 11:24Speaker 2: his brain, will be cremated. I want to say it
- 11:28Speaker 2: is their choice, it really is, and I don't want
- 11:31Speaker 2: to judge a family in a devastating moment, but it
- 11:35Speaker 2: feels here as if he's being selfish right until the
- 11:38Speaker 2: very end.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot to unpack here. And I'm certainly
- 11:42Speaker 3: no lawyer, but I'm thinking, and this is what went
- 11:45Speaker 3: through my mind. If they did study his brain and
- 11:48Speaker 3: find out that through the traumatic events of being hit
- 11:52Speaker 3: in the head at football caused any type of violent tendencies,
- 11:56Speaker 3: that information could be used in any type of civil
- 12:00Speaker 3: lawsuit or anything like that. So I think to avoid Again,
- 12:04Speaker 3: not a lawyer, just this is what I'm thinking. It's interesting,
- 12:07Speaker 3: but I'm thinking that might be one reason why they're like,
- 12:10Speaker 3: this is just, you know, a can of worms, pol
- 12:12Speaker 3: just don't want to open.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That's so smart mystery. I never thought about that.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Okay, moving along, Selena Gomes is setting the record strays
- 12:21Speaker 2: about a new dating rum or.
- 12:23Speaker 3: What is she saying, Well, for everybody who was hoping
- 12:26Speaker 3: that she dated a Kennedy, I'm sorry, I'm gonna burst
- 12:30Speaker 3: your bubble. So she's finally responded to the rumors of
- 12:33Speaker 3: dating Josh Schlosburgh by denying them outright. So she did
- 12:38Speaker 3: a comment on an Instagram post and she clarified that
- 12:42Speaker 3: she had never met John. You know, basically saying no,
- 12:45Speaker 3: don't know the human. And there were rumors that they
- 12:48Speaker 3: dated between twenty twenty and twenty twenty one, but again
- 12:52Speaker 3: she said, I've never met this human. Sorry. And look,
- 12:55Speaker 3: she's a busy woman. She got her career going. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 3: she just gotta shut it down and keep on moving.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I ain't mad at her.
- 13:02Speaker 2: I'm not mad at her either. I've got to give
- 13:04Speaker 2: a little secret though. John has moved into my building. Oh,
- 13:09Speaker 2: I have a Kennedy myster. The next time you're at Bottina,
- 13:11Speaker 2: will sit in the lobby. I saw him about a
- 13:14Speaker 2: month ago, and he's very tall, with a big, beautiful
- 13:17Speaker 2: nose and very skinny. And I thought to myself, who's
- 13:21Speaker 2: that cutie in the elevator with me? And then as
- 13:24Speaker 2: he got off the elevator and got on his bicycle
- 13:26Speaker 2: have adorable Yeah, I was like, oh, my goodness, that
- 13:30Speaker 2: is Jackie Oh's grandson. It took me a minute to
- 13:34Speaker 2: put it all together. I know his grandfather was JFK.
- 13:39Speaker 2: His mother is Caroline Kennedy. Oh. Do you think he
- 13:45Speaker 2: listens to our podcast? I'll have to ask him next time.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I know how old is he?
- 13:48Speaker 1: Elevator?
- 13:49Speaker 2: He's very cute, Okay, quickly, before we get a break.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Prince Harry has made about twenty seven million dollars from
- 13:55Speaker 2: his bombshell memoir his book Spare, which was released January two,
- 14:00Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, so over a year ago.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Now.
- 14:02Speaker 2: He got a twenty million dollar advance. The book was
- 14:05Speaker 2: so successful, Misty, he paid off that twenty million dollars
- 14:09Speaker 2: and also went on to earn an additional six to
- 14:13Speaker 2: seven million dollars. Insiders in the publishing world are describing
- 14:18Speaker 2: it as one of the most successful and fastest selling
- 14:22Speaker 2: nonfiction books of all time.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Wow.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Massive amounts of books he's sold, massive amount of money
- 14:30Speaker 2: he has earned, which is why you shouldn't be surprised.
- 14:33Speaker 2: My Royal insiders are telling me he's working on a
- 14:36Speaker 2: second one.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I can't word.
- 14:39Speaker 3: It's going to be a lot of juicy information in there,
- 14:42Speaker 3: you know, even if they have to sprinkle a little
- 14:44Speaker 3: kind of seasoned salt on it. But look, they're not
- 14:48Speaker 3: getting Royal money anymore. They have to finance themselves and
- 14:52Speaker 3: they know the fastest way to the money is by
- 14:56Speaker 3: writing a book or doing their next Netflix special, which
- 14:59Speaker 3: they were doing this past weekend. Oh, Meghan, you ain't
- 15:01Speaker 3: letting no woman stand next to your man. I get
- 15:04Speaker 3: your girl, I get you.
- 15:06Speaker 1: We talked about that yesterday. I love it. I love it. Yeah,
- 15:09Speaker 1: they can't win here.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Miss if they were taking money from the royal family
- 15:12Speaker 2: would say, oh, how dare they? They shouldn't be getting
- 15:15Speaker 2: any money. And if they're not taking any money, they're
- 15:17Speaker 2: still got to pay the bills. They've got to get work,
- 15:19Speaker 2: and they're not going to have jobs like the rest
- 15:22Speaker 2: of us have because that is not who they are.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So writing books, Meghan, making TV shows, I get it.
- 15:29Speaker 2: That's where the millions of dollars are get that money. Okay,
- 15:33Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:35Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'm your host, Rob Shooter with our dear friend, Miss
- 15:43Speaker 2: d Hey, Delaana. Let's get to the polls. Last year
- 15:47Speaker 2: we talked about oj Simpson's estate, saying the Goldman's will
- 15:52Speaker 2: get zero nothing. They are not going to give them
- 15:56Speaker 2: any money even though they owe them up to one
- 15:59Speaker 2: hundred million dollars. After the civil trial, should the family fight?
- 16:04Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Is it time for everybody to move on? Is it
- 16:07Speaker 2: too painful to pick the scab? Off the old wound
- 16:12Speaker 2: or should they fight? Eighty percent said yes they should fight.
- 16:16Speaker 2: It's their money. Get that money. I think I agree
- 16:19Speaker 2: with you. Noughtise, don't forget to vote on today's pole. Well,
- 16:23Speaker 2: got a Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob or a
- 16:26Speaker 2: Facebook page which is naughty garsip and be sure to
- 16:31Speaker 2: check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And now it's my.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Favorite moment of the show and nicest nice of the day.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Ah Well, our nicest of the day is Mandy Kahling,
- 16:44Speaker 3: who is proving again and again she's a darling of comedy.
- 16:48Speaker 3: So she's playfully roasting Prince Harry and humorously refers to
- 16:54Speaker 3: him as some book author who is married to one
- 16:58Speaker 3: of her friends. So there's a caption on his picture
- 17:01Speaker 3: and it just says, met my friend's husband at work event.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Seemed pretty cool, said he wrote a book, gonna go
- 17:08Speaker 3: check it out.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Didn't we just say?
- 17:10Speaker 3: He made like over twenty seven million dollars with his
- 17:13Speaker 3: book Spare so mindy, We love you. You are too funny.
- 17:19Speaker 3: But this was cute, cute, cute idea.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It's really really funny.
- 17:23Speaker 2: It makes me think about when George Clooney Anamal got married.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Some of the British papers said a international human rights lawyer,
- 17:34Speaker 2: Marry's Hollywood actor just adorable and nicest of the day.
- 17:40Speaker 2: And now I noticed the day naughty, naughty, naughty. CBS
- 17:43Speaker 2: is facing backlash for pulling the plug on Billy Joel's
- 17:47Speaker 2: performance at Madison Square Garden at a critical point. So
- 17:51Speaker 2: Billy Joel was singing his iconic song Piano Man when
- 17:54Speaker 2: they cut to the local news. Now we should explain
- 17:57Speaker 2: because of the Master's golf tournament, Billy's concert started late
