- 0:13Speaker 1: return to the FM area yesterday for Cleanup Week. The
- 0:20Speaker 1: second you hear that, you just know exactly what it
- 0:23Speaker 1: is cone iconic right, Well, if you do not know this,
- 0:28Speaker 1: once a year piano man shows up in the FM
- 0:31Speaker 1: area looking for a piano to play, but never to take,
- 0:36Speaker 1: but never to take. And we caught a glimpse of
- 0:38Speaker 1: piano man yesterday here in the FM area. And you
- 0:41Speaker 1: can catch a glimpse of this warlock on a big
- 0:44Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 1:06Speaker 2: And then he does, yeah, he escapes.
- 1:08Speaker 3: He disappears.
- 1:08Speaker 4: He only shows up once a year, and that's on
- 1:12Speaker 4: cleanup Week.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And I'll be honest after we watching that video, if
- 1:17Speaker 1: I can, if I can say this, ang, if you'll
- 1:19Speaker 1: allow me to honestly, not too bad but performance for
- 1:22Speaker 1: not knowing how to play the piano or that song.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I feel like, hm, I feel like
- 1:30Speaker 5: Gabe has a closer relationship with the Cleanup Week piano
- 1:34Speaker 5: man than I do.
- 1:36Speaker 4: But I was just happy to be part of the sighting.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I love when I catch sight of the Cleanup Week
- 1:43Speaker 4: piano man doing his thing on a random set of keys.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah, last year he busted out a Nirvana song on
- 1:50Speaker 1: the piano. Now that one. I've spoke to piano man
- 1:53Speaker 1: last the one. Last year he knew how to play
- 1:55Speaker 1: ahead of time. This year, piano man, he had never
- 1:57Speaker 1: practiced that song and learned it three minutes. Foehand on
- 2:00Speaker 1: YouTube real quick to go, try to you know, entertain
- 2:03Speaker 1: the masses for cleanup.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I really like that.
- 2:05Speaker 4: The Cleanup Week piano man likes to spice it up
- 2:09Speaker 4: because he knows no one just wants the same thing
- 2:12Speaker 4: every year.
- 2:13Speaker 2: That's right, all right.
- 2:15Speaker 4: If you want to catch the sighting of the Cleanup
- 2:18Speaker 4: Week piano Man, you can head to the Big ninety
- 2:20Speaker 4: eight point seven Facebook page.
- 2:25Speaker 6: Celebrating life's little victories. Every morning. We practice gratitude on
- 2:31Speaker 6: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 2:32Speaker 7: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 2:34Speaker 7: basket job, bust it out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Share your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 2:41Speaker 6: two eight oh one, ninety eight seven.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Kids.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I also needed to win that day, Angie. Do you
- 2:47Speaker 2: have a little victory for me this morning. I hope
- 2:49Speaker 2: it's something more.
- 2:49Speaker 7: Exciting than the pathetic performance of the Minnesota Wild last night.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Oh gosh, I didn't know where you were going.
- 2:55Speaker 2: But oh my god, was it mad.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I did a workout yesterday that included three rounds of
- 3:04Speaker 4: four arm planks.
- 3:06Speaker 2: All those are good for today.
- 3:07Speaker 3: It was forty five seconds for each plank.
- 3:10Speaker 4: And let me tell you, planks I think are the
- 3:12Speaker 4: bane of my existence.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Maybe the worst.
- 3:16Speaker 4: They're good if you're trying to, you know, tighten up
- 3:18Speaker 4: your abs and whatever, build strength.
- 3:20Speaker 3: But what a nightmare.
- 3:22Speaker 4: However, yesterday, little Leah, my son who's nine, he decided,
- 3:28Speaker 4: I'll plank with you, mom, so that you're not alone.
- 3:31Speaker 4: That's what he said, and that was very sweet. And
- 3:34Speaker 4: we planked together and I did way better than him.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So no, oh wow, I thought it was gonna go
- 3:41Speaker 2: the other way.
- 3:41Speaker 3: No, No, you know why, it's that I didn't wanna.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Not that he would have cared, I guess, but in
- 3:46Speaker 4: my head, I'm like, I can't let him down. I
- 3:48Speaker 4: can't stop planking before the timer is up. And so
- 3:52Speaker 4: he helped motivate me to get me, yeah, through those
- 3:55Speaker 4: forty five second forty five second plank.
- 3:58Speaker 3: It's long as forty five seconds of my life.
- 4:00Speaker 2: You just didn't want to lose to your son.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Ah that part too, But it was really nice to
- 4:05Speaker 4: have a workout buddy.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And then during like the other parts of the workout, he.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Would count the reps for me so I could stay focused,
- 4:12Speaker 4: and it was just very nice.
- 4:13Speaker 3: To have him with me.
- 4:14Speaker 7: That's adorable. Little workout, buddy, Little workout buddy, Liam.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah, what about you, Gabe. What's your little victory today?
- 4:20Speaker 1: I've told this story before, but you know, I think
- 4:23Speaker 1: it was last week. I just told you about this
- 4:25Speaker 1: record player, this very old school record.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Oh, you were gonna put it out for cleanup week.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I got it out to the end of the street
- 4:33Speaker 1: last night. Not be looking forward more to seeing that
- 4:38Speaker 1: thing gone. It's kind of amazing how much space there
- 4:42Speaker 1: is in my garage now, even though like I have
- 4:45Speaker 1: a nice size, solid size i'll say solid sized garage. Yeah,
- 4:49Speaker 1: but it's weird when one big, kind of dresser looking
- 4:52Speaker 1: thing is no longer in it. You're just like, oh,
- 4:54Speaker 1: there's so much room for activities in here. Yes, And
- 4:57Speaker 1: then here's my other little victory, And you would think
- 5:00Speaker 1: that I would have been smarter than this, but I'm not.
- 5:03Speaker 3: No, I don't think so.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah, right, but I am not. But I did figure
- 5:06Speaker 1: it out. So Angie has seen this. In my wife
- 5:10Speaker 1: and my vehicles that we drive every day. We have
- 5:13Speaker 1: the bases for car seats right now. Oh yes, yes,
- 5:18Speaker 1: got them installed.
- 5:19Speaker 2: They're all good to go.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We're obviously gonna bring them to there's some class thing
- 5:24Speaker 1: we have to go where they check it and make
- 5:25Speaker 1: sure everything's good.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Right, you're gonna do that?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Well, I think so. I don't necessarily thing I need it,
- 5:29Speaker 1: but I guess I'd rather.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Be better to be safe than sorry. I love that.
- 5:34Speaker 1: But you know, there's that little ball thing that goes
- 5:37Speaker 1: back and forth to let you know if it's level.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Right on Sunday, I for the life of me could
- 5:43Speaker 1: not get this little ball thing to be level.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I'm like, what is going on? What is the problem?
- 5:49Speaker 1: And then I realized I was parked on the slant
- 5:52Speaker 1: of my driveway that entire time.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So when I parked in.
- 5:56Speaker 7: The flat garage, Yeah, the ball leveled out immediately into
- 6:00Speaker 7: feel it. So I could not have been more embarrassed
- 6:03Speaker 7: to not have quite realized what was going on in
- 6:05Speaker 7: the time being, but hey, you know what, we got
- 6:08Speaker 7: it figured out a couple of days later.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's good to face some adversity.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's really good to face some adversity. And now I
- 6:14Speaker 1: know my car seats are gonna be just my.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Dog out.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Has your pet ever caused an injury to you? Seven
- 6:27Speaker 1: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven. Yesterday
- 6:31Speaker 1: I was sitting watching the wild Game. And one thing
- 6:34Speaker 1: I've learned about when you go into my house it
- 6:37Speaker 1: is there's it's never still out of the.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Corner of your eyes.
- 6:41Speaker 1: There's always some motion one of the cats or the dog.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And it's only gonna get worse this, yeah, when baby
- 6:50Speaker 1: g arrives. But yesterday I'm watching the wild Game and
- 6:52Speaker 1: I had a cat jump on my thigh dig its
- 6:56Speaker 1: claws in because I like immediately jumped and sat up,
- 7:00Speaker 1: and now I just had all these claw marks in
- 7:02Speaker 1: my thigh. I had like blood through my sweatpants. It
- 7:05Speaker 1: was a gross Oh my gosh.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, man, if.
- 7:08Speaker 1: You own a cat or a dog, you know you
- 7:09Speaker 1: might be used to some injuries. Maybe you own a
- 7:11Speaker 1: parrot and a finger looked like a real tasty carrot.
- 7:14Speaker 1: One day, Yill wha has a pet ever caused an
- 7:18Speaker 1: injury to you seven oh one two eight zero one
- 7:21Speaker 1: nine eight seven. And not to be outdone, my dog
- 7:24Speaker 1: Winona had me looking like the scar from Lion King once.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Did that.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yes, this was a few years ago. She was maybe
- 7:32Speaker 2: six months old. Seven oh. She was just kind of
- 7:34Speaker 2: a little rambunctious puppy.
- 7:36Speaker 3: But I was gonna say not my Winona.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Now she's just a sweet lady. Yeah. Few.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I just posted this picture up on the Big ninety
- 7:44Speaker 1: eight point seven facebook page. Actually this was a couple
- 7:46Speaker 1: of years ago, but she I don't remember what we
- 7:49Speaker 1: were doing. Maybe it was partially my fault, but for
- 7:52Speaker 1: whatever reason, she like went to reach her paw out
- 7:55Speaker 1: at me, and one of her nails happened to clip
- 7:58Speaker 1: me right in the eye. I mean right across the island.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I literally look like scars identical to wind.
- 8:04Speaker 4: That's a tough spot to get because also you're it bleeds.
- 8:09Speaker 1: A lot, yeah, and you just feel it all day. Yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 1: and that kind of kind of hides.
- 8:13Speaker 2: A little bit. Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Pretty funny picture, which is up again on Big ninety
- 8:16Speaker 1: eight point seven's facebook page.
- 8:18Speaker 4: I don't have any pets, but when my ex and
- 8:20Speaker 4: I first started dating. His mom had like three cats
- 8:25Speaker 4: or something, and I was at his house and I
- 8:27Speaker 4: had fallen asleep on the couch and it was the
- 8:31Speaker 4: night before I was supposed to start my very first
- 8:35Speaker 4: day of work at Victoria's Secret, and I had fallen
- 8:38Speaker 4: asleep on the couch and I woke up because one
- 8:41Speaker 4: of these.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Cats used my eyelid as a launch pad. Oh wow,
- 8:47Speaker 3: and just gashed my eyelid.
- 8:49Speaker 4: That's how I know that it's an uncomfortable injury because
- 8:52Speaker 4: it was bleeding a lot and it's uncomfortable. And then
- 8:55Speaker 4: I showed up to my very first day of work
- 8:56Speaker 4: with his big old gash on my eye.
- 8:59Speaker 1: And it's you know, the answer is never great either
- 9:03Speaker 1: when it's like, oh, what happened to you?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Will my dog beat me up? Or like my yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 2: And then.
- 9:09Speaker 3: No one really has any sympathies.
- 9:11Speaker 2: No one cares.
- 9:12Speaker 7: They're like, hah yeah, right, Erica, what about you?
- 9:15Speaker 2: Did you ever have a pet accidentally cause some harm?
- 9:18Speaker 5: My dog got to do me and use my knee
- 9:20Speaker 5: as a launch pat, like I've heard a pop, and
- 9:24Speaker 5: he just kept on running like nothing happened.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Meanwhile, I'm on a floor in pain, and he comes
- 9:28Speaker 4: back like you good?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Do you want to play? Yeah?
- 9:31Speaker 1: I just got an uncomfortable feeling in my knee and
- 9:33Speaker 1: he popped. At the time, someone's like, oh I heard
- 9:35Speaker 1: a pop. That's when I'm out.
- 9:36Speaker 2: You know.
- 9:37Speaker 1: You know the show Ridiculousness yea with Rob dear Deck. Yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 1: my dad loves that show. I can't watch people get
- 9:44Speaker 1: hurt like that over now. It just it makes me squeamish.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not a big fan, but I do the
- 9:49Speaker 4: caveat is. I like when people get hit in the
- 9:52Speaker 4: face with like a weird object, for sure.
- 9:54Speaker 3: That always makes me laugh.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Brian, did a pet ever accidentally hurt you? It?
- 10:00Speaker 5: And my cat got scared of the fireworks and jumped
- 10:02Speaker 5: on me with his claws out and everything, and then broke.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Skin in a few places and it was super painful.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me. So not only
- 10:12Speaker 1: did I have to get my butt kicked.
- 10:14Speaker 7: By my cat, I had to watch the while get
- 10:16Speaker 7: their buds kicked up and down the ice.
- 10:18Speaker 4: This is your PSA to get yourself a nice goldfish.
- 10:25Speaker 6: This is am I. The problem it's me, Hi, The
- 10:31Speaker 6: problem is me. We'll hear one side of the story
- 10:34Speaker 6: and with your help decide if it's right or if
- 10:39Speaker 6: maybe you're the problem. That's right, I am the problem
- 10:43Speaker 6: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 10:46Speaker 4: So she's asked to stay anonymous, so we'll call her
- 10:51Speaker 4: and me for anonymous.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Sound good?
- 10:54Speaker 2: All right? Yeah? Nice? Nice?
- 10:56Speaker 7: Uh?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Nice segue there.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I mean to stay in eye to miss on this.
- 11:00Speaker 4: I'm genuinely shook. I love my fiance so much and
- 11:05Speaker 4: absolutely adore his family, but discovered recently that his dad
- 11:09Speaker 4: is cheating on his mom. But apparently this is just
- 11:12Speaker 4: a known thing in the family, and even his mom
- 11:15Speaker 4: has an idea it happens, but turns a blind eye.
- 11:19Speaker 4: And my fiance has known about this for years and
- 11:22Speaker 4: seems unbothered. So I obviously pressed him about the situation.
- 11:26Speaker 4: And basically, his mom just isn't a very sexual person,
- 11:30Speaker 4: and his dad is. His cheating is only physical and
- 11:34Speaker 4: not emotional, and the rest of the marriage is great,
- 11:36Speaker 4: so it's kind of an unwritten arrangement. He doesn't seem
- 11:40Speaker 4: phased at all, And now I feel a way because
- 11:43Speaker 4: what if we go through a dry spell or something
- 11:45Speaker 4: years down the road, will he cheat on me or
- 11:49Speaker 4: ask for this kind of arrangement. It makes me uncomfortable.
- 11:53Speaker 4: He is so chill about this. So essentially, should she
- 11:57Speaker 4: be worried?
- 11:58Speaker 3: Should she be.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Should be worried that her fiance is just kind of
- 12:02Speaker 4: cool with the fact that his dad be cheating.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Let us know what you think at seven oh one
- 12:07Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven. Angie, I'm gonna
- 12:10Speaker 1: let you take this verse one here? What because you
- 12:13Speaker 1: are a lady. Yeah, I want to hear from a
- 12:16Speaker 1: lady's perspective on what you would do if your boyfriend's
- 12:20Speaker 1: dad had kind of this unwritten deal and you were
- 12:23Speaker 1: going through this.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Okay, it's gonna be kind of hard for me.
- 12:28Speaker 4: I don't want to air dirtey laundry, but I guess
- 12:31Speaker 4: that's where I am in my life.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:33Speaker 4: So I was with a guy who's parents they didn't
- 12:38Speaker 4: have an unwritten arrangement. It didn't sound like it was
- 12:40Speaker 4: happy times, okay, but his dad was definitely cheating on
- 12:45Speaker 4: his mom and his mom did not know.
- 12:48Speaker 3: And I was, I mean shook when I found out.
- 12:52Speaker 4: And I had asked him like about the whole thing,
- 12:54Speaker 4: and he was like, yeah, he's you know, yeah, that's
- 12:58Speaker 4: just my dad, I guess, and he didn't I think
- 13:00Speaker 4: it was good and his mom didn't know. It wasn't
- 13:03Speaker 4: like a happy, happy thing, but he kind of just
- 13:07Speaker 4: was like, I don't I can't tell.
- 13:08Speaker 3: My dad what to do, you know what I mean.
- 13:11Speaker 4: And so I did feel a way about it, But
- 13:15Speaker 4: I just knew my relationship with my ex, and it
- 13:18Speaker 4: didn't seem like he was cool with the situation because
- 13:22Speaker 4: he was like, yeah, I love cheating, you know what
- 13:24Speaker 4: I mean. But I think as a child, sometimes you
- 13:28Speaker 4: can't not Sometimes most of the time you can't change
- 13:32Speaker 4: what your parents be doing, and so you can know
- 13:35Speaker 4: something and then what he's supposed to be worked up
- 13:38Speaker 4: about it all these years the boyfriend, Annie, your boyfriend
- 13:42Speaker 4: probably didn't love it in the beginning when he found out,
- 13:45Speaker 4: or fiance rather didn't love it in the beginning when
- 13:48Speaker 4: he found out, But what is he supposed to do?
- 13:51Speaker 4: Act shocked and surprised every time, like because it's been
- 13:55Speaker 4: going on for so long now. I think if he
- 13:59Speaker 4: just found out, if you guys found out together and
- 14:02Speaker 4: he was like, eh, that's fine, then I would think, Okay, Annie,
- 14:07Speaker 4: your guy does not seem to think that there's a
- 14:09Speaker 4: problem with that. But I think because it's been so
- 14:12Speaker 4: many years. It's something that he's just accepted, and so
- 14:17Speaker 4: maybe just communicate that with him, Annie before you walk
- 14:21Speaker 4: down the aisle, because clearly this is pressing on you.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Communication will definitely be key in this situation. I would
- 14:27Speaker 1: if I had to guess, all right, and don't I
- 14:29Speaker 1: don't know this young man, But if I had to guess,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I would guess that he still is not a fan,
- 14:35Speaker 1: hates it, probably to an extent, and maybe he's just
- 14:37Speaker 1: being chill about it because he doesn't want to talk
- 14:39Speaker 1: about it.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Maybe he's it's embarrassing, you know. Maybe he's like, yeah, oh.
- 14:42Speaker 1: No, he doesn't want to go down this rabbit hole
- 14:45Speaker 1: of how disappointed he is in the whole situation.
- 14:47Speaker 2: That could be a thing.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But I will say, Angie, and I always get these
- 14:50Speaker 1: phrases wrong, but here's one that I don't think I'm
- 14:53Speaker 1: gonna mess up. Okay that old the apple don't fall
- 14:56Speaker 1: far from the tree, okay O. Two things could be true.
- 15:01Speaker 1: He could be laxed about it because it's just it's
- 15:03Speaker 1: been normalized and maybe he really doesn't care. He could
- 15:07Speaker 1: also be laxed about it because maybe he's like embarrassed
- 15:09Speaker 1: to an extent, and it's not something he wants to
- 15:11Speaker 1: talk about, so he's chill about it just to get
- 15:13Speaker 1: it to move on. So I think communication from our
- 15:16Speaker 1: girl Anonymousita what's her.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Name, we're just calling her Annie, you keep her anonymous.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I think the key for her is gonna be to
- 15:23Speaker 1: communicate how not cool you would be with that.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, at no point are you ever gonna change.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Not in five years, ten years, twenty years now you
- 15:33Speaker 1: still could, but obviously you don't got to say that
- 15:35Speaker 1: part that you are not going to be cool with
- 15:37Speaker 1: that at any point. I think you need to kind
- 15:39Speaker 1: of put your foot down and make that very clear.
- 15:41Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 15:42Speaker 4: Seven one one two eight o one nine eight seven.
- 15:45Speaker 4: We also have this up on the Big ninety eight
- 15:46Speaker 4: point seven Facebook page. Should Annie be worried that her
- 15:50Speaker 4: fiance doesn't seem phased at all by the fact that
- 15:54Speaker 4: his dad literally be cheating on his Momie, We had Annie,
- 16:04Speaker 4: which is short for anonymous because she wanted to stay anonymous.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Right into us. Her fiance.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Knows that his dad cheats on his mom, and when
- 16:16Speaker 4: she found this out, she was shook, and she is
- 16:19Speaker 4: worried that maybe it's a red flag that her fiance
- 16:23Speaker 4: seems unbothered by the fact that his mom.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I mean that his dad cheats on his mom.
- 16:28Speaker 1: And I think Annie feeling away. I think that's fair.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I think I think it's extremely fair to be like, well.
- 16:34Speaker 7: I don't know if I love this, Yeah, but I
- 16:39Speaker 7: am a bit surprised.
- 16:40Speaker 1: There's kind of a there's kind of both sides of
- 16:43Speaker 1: the fence on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Well, I think that she shouldn't be worried unless you
- 16:51Speaker 4: had a both just found out and he was like,
- 16:53Speaker 4: that's fine, But he's known about this for years, is
- 16:57Speaker 4: the thing? And he said, it's kind of like an
- 16:58Speaker 4: unwritten thing.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just sadly been normalized.
- 17:01Speaker 4: It's just been normalized. And so I think it's more
- 17:04Speaker 4: that he just has to accept it because he can't
- 17:07Speaker 4: change what his parents do, right, And so I don't
- 17:10Speaker 4: think Annie should necessarily be worried. What are they saying
- 17:13Speaker 4: on Facebook? Because most of the time they have better
- 17:16Speaker 4: opinions than me.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Well, Stephanie texted, she says, it's not a good thing,
- 17:21Speaker 1: of course, but just because his dad does it doesn't
- 17:23Speaker 1: mean he's going to do it. You truly can't control
- 17:25Speaker 1: your parents. Your relationship is just that, not his parents' relationship. Now,
- 17:30Speaker 1: Julie said, it's a red flag that he's so conditioned
- 17:35Speaker 1: to his dad's cheating and is unfaced. So kind of
- 17:38Speaker 1: two sides there now, jump on Facebook. Chris said, I
- 17:42Speaker 1: think that's nyob.
- 17:45Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 17:46Speaker 1: None of your business? Of your business, That's what I thought. Yes,
- 17:49Speaker 1: it's concerning, but that isn't your marriage. If both partners
- 17:52Speaker 1: are fine with it, what's the problem. Sarah says, mind
- 17:56Speaker 1: your business. Obviously, whatever is going on between his parents
- 17:59Speaker 1: is what works for them. Sounds like every party is
- 18:01Speaker 1: aware of the situation and accepting of it. I'm sorry
- 18:04Speaker 1: it bothers you, but you can't let their relationship frame
- 18:07Speaker 1: out your own relationship. Leave it alone and enjoy your
- 18:10Speaker 1: life upcoming wedding and new family. And then we have
- 18:14Speaker 1: the other side here where Michelle says you need to
- 18:16Speaker 1: talk to your fiance about your feelings. Communication is key
- 18:19Speaker 1: to success in every relationship. She doesn't really say one
- 18:22Speaker 1: way or the other, but she kind of says what
- 18:24Speaker 1: we said about communication being a big thing. Crystal said,
- 18:27Speaker 1: him being so comfortable with all of it is really uncomfortable.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Here is what I'll say. If you're just tuning in
- 18:37Speaker 2: this morning.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I did say something along these lines about ten minutes ago,
- 18:39Speaker 1: but I will say this. It could be that he
- 18:43Speaker 1: is not cool with this and he is very uncomfortable
- 18:45Speaker 1: and does not love it all right, That could be possible,
- 18:48Speaker 1: And maybe by trying to come off unfhazed is his
- 18:52Speaker 1: way of not wanting to talk about it, not wanting
- 18:55Speaker 1: to kind of open up about how bothersome it is
- 18:58Speaker 1: to Yeah, maybe he really doesn't like it and hates
- 19:00Speaker 1: it and is just trying to bypass the whole thing
- 19:03Speaker 1: because he doesn't want to talk about being disappointed in
- 19:06Speaker 1: his dad or his parents in general.
- 19:08Speaker 2: That could be true.
- 19:10Speaker 4: So I think, Annie, you gotta talk to him about
- 19:12Speaker 4: it now. If you do tell him, listen, I'm uncomfortable
- 19:16Speaker 4: about this because X y Z. And if his response
- 19:20Speaker 4: isn't yeah, I don't like it at first, but I
- 19:23Speaker 4: can't change my parents.
- 19:24Speaker 2: If it's not that, then no.
- 19:26Speaker 4: If it's not that, yeah, what I'm saying, Yeah, if
- 19:28Speaker 4: it's well, who cares?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Did it I?
- 19:30Speaker 4: And it gets defensive, then that's the red flat.
- 19:33Speaker 2: One thousand percent chime on in.
- 19:35Speaker 1: It is kind of interesting to see both takes on
- 19:37Speaker 1: this at seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 19:41Speaker 1: eight seven. At the end of the day, communication is
- 19:44Speaker 1: going to be very, very important with in this situation
- 19:47Speaker 1: for our girl, You're gonna have to let him know that.
- 19:49Speaker 1: At no point is that how you see your future relationship?
- 19:53Speaker 2: For sure, some.
- 19:56Speaker 6: Good starting off the day with something good. This is
- 20:02Speaker 6: Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Sometimes life throws you something unbelievably tough, and what you
- 20:10Speaker 1: do next is what really defines you. And you can
- 20:12Speaker 1: just ask Mindy Kneebauer Donovan from Fargo, a former standout
- 20:17Speaker 1: shot put athlete at Fargo South High School. Mini faced
- 20:20Speaker 1: years of pain, going through ten surgeries in six years
- 20:24Speaker 1: trying to fix her foot, but last fall, she made
- 20:26Speaker 1: the life changing decision of amputation. And here's where the
- 20:30Speaker 1: story kind of gets incredible.
- 20:32Speaker 3: No, I don't feel like I'm fifty.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I feel like I'm starting all over again.
- 20:37Speaker 7: I had ten structural surgeries over six years.
- 20:40Speaker 5: And I asked him, I said, well, you know, if
- 20:42Speaker 5: I get it amputated, what can I do then?
- 20:44Speaker 2: And he asked me, what do you want to do?
- 20:46Speaker 1: And I'm like, everything the morning after surgery. She was
- 20:50Speaker 1: already asking to go back into the gym. In two
- 20:53Speaker 1: days after being discharged.
- 20:55Speaker 2: She was there.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Now months later, Mindy is not only rebuilding, she's thriving.
- 20:59Speaker 2: She's dropped one hundred and thirty pounds.
- 21:01Speaker 1: She's training daily and already competing in Paralympic track and
- 21:05Speaker 1: field events. She even qualified for nationals at fifty years old,
- 21:09Speaker 1: and she's not done. Her goal is to represent Team
- 21:13Speaker 1: USA in shotput. From adversity to absolute inspiration, Mindy Donovan,
- 21:21Speaker 1: way to go to you. Congratulations. Obviously, you know things
- 21:24Speaker 1: kind of took a turn there, but she's not letting
- 21:25Speaker 1: it slower down. I stop her from reaching these goals,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and I think that's incredible.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Agree wholeheartedly that's right.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Don't forget my favorite quote, Broken Crans. They still color
- 21:35Speaker 1: and the world is full of nice people. If you
- 21:37Speaker 1: can't find one, you gotta be
