- Jacob Bunce: Alright, welcome back to Fader Follow. ⁓ thanks for tuning in. Got Jacob here, Grant. ⁓ background a little different. I'm in the beautiful Marriott Marquee and ⁓ South Loop of Chicago. Lake View, no big deal. ⁓ kidding. My wifi here is complete ass. But anyway, we're gonna go ahead and jump right into our game picks for Thursday. ⁓ props that we like, first touchdown, and we'll go ahead and let Grant Kinda kick it off. Grant Nonnemacher: Yeah. Good ⁓ how you doing everyone. Good morning. ⁓ so we have I am not a morning, but so bear with me please. ⁓ so yeah, we got Packers versus Falcons. ⁓ two teams ⁓ kinda really disastrous starts to the season, even if the record for the Packers doesn't indicate it. ⁓ the Falcons have been an absolute dumpster fired, especially at the quarterback position. They've had two ⁓ Jacob Bunce: Grant's not a morning person, by the way. It's why he's yeah, he's even more quiet than normal. Horrible. Grant Nonnemacher: it tried to sign Tua. Penix has eighty year old man knees, can't seem to stand upright. ⁓ Cooper Rush has come in and just been an absolute disaster for them. Have not had one play in the red zone all year, which is an actually an unbelievable stat if you understand what that actually means. That means their offense has been so pitiful that they have not ran a single play in the red zone all year. And ⁓ their offensive players are frustrated to say the least. ⁓ Bijan has been the only person who has produced any sort of value from a fantasy perspective, from a gambling prop perspective. ⁓ we get Michael Penix back this evening. Hopefully that helps, but I am not s I am not super confident in the long term prospects of this team. But for tonight, I don't know. I think we can get them a little get some value with them at the plus six and a half line because the Packers are also in dire straits, especially along their O line. Jacob Bunce: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, you know, we got in right when the lines opened. I mean, we're recording on a Monday, so six and a half is is a great point. ⁓ I think the Packers win this game. I just don't think they win by a touchdown. ⁓ Cooper Rush, there's not a whole lot to say about the guy. You know, obviously we all saw weeks one and two. Pannox definitely has some upside. He'll be a little rusty, obviously. I mean, like Grant said, his knees are probably gonna give out. Grant Nonnemacher: Yes. Jacob Bunce: Hopefully they don't. but I just think the weapons are way too good on this offense to remain bad. I mean, Bijan Robinson, Drake London has been basically non existent. And I have them in some fantasy leagues, and it's been very, very frustrating. ⁓ Kyle Pitts always finds his way to score two. Him and Penix have this weird connection. Like you mentioned too, Green Bay is not healthy offensively. I mean, they're missing Jaden Reed, their O line is just not very good. Grant Nonnemacher: A hundred percent. Jacob Bunce: ⁓ and I think just over time too, Thursday night usually favors the dog. And if week two told us anything, take the points. You know, I mean it was we got decimated over the weekend to to say the least. I mean, we were able to scrape eighty-five to ninety percent of our money back with some, you know, last minute plays that we added after some some horrific losses. ⁓ but yeah, give us the Falcons plus six and a half, give us the points. ⁓ Grant Nonnemacher: Yeah, a hundred percent. Yeah. Jacob Bunce: Grant, do you wanna go next with our prop play that we like? Grant Nonnemacher: Yeah, absolutely. So I think ⁓ w so another so we mentioned we mentioned B Penix having connections with a lot of these weapons. I think w one that we really like is Bijan getting involved in the receiving game. We mentioned the rust coming back from the knee injury. He's gonna be looking for those check downs. He's not gonna be very mobile, so he's gonna be looking for if the Green Bay brings that pass rush, they're gonna be looking to get Bijon out in the flat and get some of those ⁓ get some of those easy yards, get the game get him back in the game and also just keep him from taking hits because they literally I d like I do not think Penix is long for this league. He is his knees if he takes one more if he gets one more significant knee injury, he might have to retire. Like that's he's had three A C L's at this point, going dating back to his days at Indiana. So so again, I d Jacob Bunce: Yeah. Yeah, and I I think too like like Green Bay has ⁓ go ahead, sorry. Grant Nonnemacher: No, sorry. But yeah, so our prop for the night is Bijan over forty two receiving yards. Jacob Bunce: Yes, yes. I mean Green Bay, as bad as they've been, have been pretty good against the run, I will say. ⁓ I mean obviously it's different when you're playing against one of the best running backs in the league. However, if that is their goal for this is to lock down Bijan and let's say the Packers go up a a score, maybe score and a half, they're gonna have to throw the ball. Grant Nonnemacher: Yeah, yes. Jacob Bunce: And when Penix throws the ball, half the time it's a check down to Bichon. So yeah, I think this in 42 yards, I mean, it's really not that like that's not a monster outbreak game either. You know, that's four solid catches. And like you said, I mean, he can't he has one breakaway or one good screen, and that's 25, 30 yards right there. ⁓ so yeah, give us Bichon over receiving. ⁓ and then for our first touchdown. Grant Nonnemacher: You can get that on one in Yeah, the Jacob Bunce: I'll just address the elephant in the room. We haven't been very good at these so far this year. I mean these are always a yeah, yeah, yeah. They're they're they're they're a coin flip. Or well, I guess if you're throwing 15 coins in the air, ⁓ flip. And you know, there's been a lot about this guy in social media, in the news. He was chirping ⁓ some people last week, and I just think he's angry. Grant Nonnemacher: Yeah. Yeah. They're they're they're they're sixteen they're fifteen to one for a reason. Jacob Bunce: I think Penix wants to get him right. Give us Drake London first touchdown. Grant Nonnemacher: Yes, sir. A hundred percent. Yeah, I think ⁓ at a certain point you've gotta you gotta get your number one guy involved. You gotta get him in the end zone. He is I y he I don't have many fancy leagues, so I haven't been following him as closely. I just know that he can't have done much of anything because Cooper Rush has been an absolute disaster. And wide receiver being a depend dependent position, if pr Cooper Rush hasn't done anything, that means Drake London hasn't done anything. So Jacob Bunce: Yep. Yep. So this is a just don't overthink it. Get your boy right. Remind everyone that you're a fucking beast. And ⁓ make us some some money too while you're at it. So ⁓ anyway we'll tweet out these these plays ⁓ on X later as well. Also please subscribe to the page, like the video. ⁓ Grant Nonnemacher: Yes. Yes, sir. Bye bye.
