  And this would be an incredible area of research.

  So whether or not people want to live on the moon, there's

  definitely a lot of science to be done.

  And I think it's closed as well. So that's that would be quite

  exciting to do. And then of course, we can go

  other to other places in the solar system like Saturn.

  And but the critical thing that we need to focus on I think is

  the fastest path to a self-sustaining City on Mars.

  This is the first is the fundamental thing.

  As far as we know, as far as we know, we are the only

  around for about four and a half billion years old, it was mostly

  molten magma for about a half a billion years.

  So but still several billion years with at least bacterial

  life and multicellular life for several hundred million years.

  But because interesting part like the, the sun is gradually

  getting hotter and bigger and over time, even in the absence

  of global warming, man-made stuff that the sun will expand,
• 8:58
  and it will, it will overheat the Earth.

  My guess is probably. This is on human timescales.

  This is a long time but it's there's only, you know, several
• 9:09
  hundred million years left. That's all, that's all we got,
• 9:12
  okay? Several hundred million years,
• 9:14
  but if it's sort of, in, if from an evolutionary standpoint,
• 9:20
  basically, if it took an extra 10% longer for conscious life to
• 9:24
  evolve on Earth, it would evolve at all because it would have
• 9:28
  been incinerated by the Sun. So, so what I'm saying is that,
• 9:34
  it's, it appears that Consciousness is a very rare and
• 9:37
  precious thing and we should take whatever steps we can to
• 9:42
  preserve the light of Consciousness.

  And the window, the window has been open only now, after four
• 9:48
  and a half billion years, is that window?
• 9:50
  Open, there's a long time to wait and it might not stay open
• 9:53
  for long. I'm pretty optimistic by nature,
• 9:57
  but there's some chance. There's some chance that window
• 10:00
  will not be open for long. I think we should become a
• 10:03
  multipath civilization. While that window is open.

  And if we do, I think the probable Outcome for Earth is
• 10:12
  even better if we cuz then you know, Mars could help Earth one
• 10:15
  day. You know?

  And so I think we should really do our very best to become a
• 10:21
  multi-planet species and to extend Consciousness beyond
• 10:24
