- 0:25Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:29Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trey Trenholme, Raj Sharma and Jerry Caldwell on a Fridday,
- 0:40Speaker 1: March seven, twenty twenty five. Happy Friday, everybody, Happy Friday.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Happy Friday Friday.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Trey and Raj don't sound nearly as excited about Jerry,
- 0:51Speaker 1: but that's okay. I'm used to that. I'm going to
- 0:54Speaker 1: do what I can to up your excitement level here
- 0:57Speaker 1: on this big Friday that was all for you show
- 1:01Speaker 1: inside the Treeouse. This makes me so happy. You know
- 1:07Speaker 1: what makes me happy. Cute and cuddly creatures. Cut and
- 1:11Speaker 1: cuddly creatures make me extremely happy. It's a strap.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Right out of the choot man, right in, right into
- 1:21Speaker 3: the streets.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:25Speaker 1: You guys suck.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So you were telling us about being a furry.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I'm not a furry, but I do like cut and
- 1:37Speaker 1: cuddly creatures, especially when if I've been doom scrolling social media,
- 1:41Speaker 1: I get the occasional cute and cuddly video or thing
- 1:45Speaker 1: that will pop up to kind of break up the
- 1:47Speaker 1: doom scrolling. It's it's it's very needed these days, which also,
- 1:52Speaker 1: by the way, is part of the reason the show exists.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Is similar to a cute and cuddly creature, we will
- 1:59Speaker 1: break up the doom in your life with fun and
- 2:03Speaker 1: laughter or in this case, lily little wooly mice. Science
- 2:10Speaker 1: has been very busy in recent years. It's not all
- 2:14Speaker 1: artificial intelligence, because there are some scientists who are working
- 2:18Speaker 1: to revive the wooly mammoth, and part of the step
- 2:24Speaker 1: part of the steps they are taking to revive the
- 2:26Speaker 1: wooly mammoth is practicing on other creatures. Scientists have just
- 2:32Speaker 1: recently created the wooly mouse. On the way to reviving
- 2:38Speaker 1: the wooly.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Mammoth Island of Doctor Moreau. Here we come.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Maybe a little bit of that as well. Scientists at
- 2:47Speaker 1: Colossal Biosciences, which sounds made of are working to revive
- 2:52Speaker 1: the wooly mammoth by genetically modifying Asian elephants, aiming for
- 2:56Speaker 1: the first calf by twenty twenty eight. As a proof
- 3:01Speaker 1: of concept, they created genetically modified wooly mice with traits
- 3:06Speaker 1: for cold tolerance, including thick wooly hair. Basically, think of
- 3:12Speaker 1: a bunch of mice that are blonde and have just
- 3:15Speaker 1: had massive blowouts on their hair. That's what the wooly
- 3:20Speaker 1: mice actually actually look like, really cute. By editing multiple
- 3:26Speaker 1: genes linked to hair and fat metabolism, the scientists validated
- 3:30Speaker 1: their approach, though many experiments did not yield offspring, so
- 3:34Speaker 1: it's still a bit of a work in progress. Still
- 3:37Speaker 1: though on their way to creating or reviving the wooly mammoth,
- 3:42Speaker 1: scientists have created wooly mice.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Are you excited about this because of the science or
- 3:50Speaker 5: because you're in some Richard gears.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm pretty sure that Richard gear stuff has been debunked.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I think that's real.
- 4:03Speaker 5: However, it wasn't a mouse, but it sounds like they're
- 4:08Speaker 5: these are these are bigger than average mice?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Well, they are wooly, and I think that's reference more
- 4:16Speaker 1: of that. I was saying, the genetic modifications of the
- 4:19Speaker 1: hair and the cold tolerance traits. And look, if we're
- 4:24Speaker 1: being honest, if you are into inserting rodents into your
- 4:29Speaker 1: back door area for pleasure, I don't think the wooly
- 4:33Speaker 1: version is the version you're gonna want to go. I
- 4:35Speaker 1: think you want to go more on the hairless side.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Those are adorable my general common sense thinking about a
- 4:45Speaker 1: nonsensical subject.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Tips from Dan.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Sometimes more about.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You walked right into it. You back up.
- 4:57Speaker 1: What I'm going to say. It's I buy back into
- 4:59Speaker 1: those things.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Jesus. Well, at least we know you go hairless.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Look again, I'm not into that sort of thing, but
- 5:10Speaker 1: if I was, I think, wouldn't that be the way
- 5:12Speaker 1: to go? Otherwise you're going to be constantly cleaning these
- 5:15Speaker 1: things like you gotta pull up hair. Never Mind, I've
- 5:20Speaker 1: said too much. Scientists on their way to reviving a
- 5:24Speaker 1: wooly mammoth have created wooly mice, and I for one,
- 5:29Speaker 1: am very excited to see one day when we get
- 5:32Speaker 1: the wooly velociraptor. Yeah, that's because that's what this is.
- 5:37Speaker 1: This is once again, uh the saying goes life imitates
- 5:42Speaker 1: art right. In this case, science is imitating art. And
- 5:46Speaker 1: that's very scary because the art that we're referring to
- 5:49Speaker 1: in this scenario is Jurassic Park. And in the film
- 5:52Speaker 1: Jurassic Park, it was very obvious, don't f around with
- 5:58Speaker 1: mother Nature. Those animals are extinct. Let's not bring them back.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Otherwise you get something more horrifying than a juiced up
- 6:07Speaker 1: t Rex. You get Jurassic Park three or even worse.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And I saw this on a streaming platform the other day.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You get Jurassic you get Jurassic World Dominion, the extended cut.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'd rather be dropped into a velociraptor nest than to
- 6:22Speaker 1: than to have to watch that movie again, let alone
- 6:24Speaker 1: an extended version of it.
- 6:29Speaker 2: That's where you draw the line on movies. Really, what's
- 6:32Speaker 2: say again?
- 6:33Speaker 1: I draw the line on a number of movies, but
- 6:36Speaker 1: that's one of them. That is an example. It's important
- 6:38Speaker 1: that I share with you guys. I do have standards
- 6:40Speaker 1: with some films.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I guess I'm gonna have to give it a watch now.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Don't just no, don't don't do it. Don't do it? No.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I like it, really did?
- 6:53Speaker 3: I think.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I think it's on Peacock. Tara and I were watching
- 6:56Speaker 1: something and I saw on the suggestion now available Ratic
- 7:00Speaker 1: World Dominion Extended Edition. It's like, my god, who would
- 7:04Speaker 1: watch that? Who hates themselves that much?
- 7:09Speaker 2: I didn't think it was that bad.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It's pretty bad.
- 7:14Speaker 2: It's bad. When Dan says it's.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Bad, thank you. It's the first nice thing any of
- 7:20Speaker 1: you guys have said to me. This entire show.
- 7:22Speaker 5: I disagree, Raj, because you look at some of the
- 7:25Speaker 5: things he says is good.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Eh, that's a very uh. That scale slides a lot.
- 7:31Speaker 1: You guys have bastardized a lot of what I said,
- 7:35Speaker 1: because a lot of the movies I have said that
- 7:37Speaker 1: I hold close to my heart aren't necessarily good. I
- 7:40Speaker 1: just have fond memories of them because they watched them
- 7:43Speaker 1: as a child. Whether it's a Christmas Story, which Raj,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you hate, Trey you don't think is good. You guys
- 7:49Speaker 1: say that doesn't hold up. If I watch it for
- 7:51Speaker 1: the first time as a forty five year old man,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I too would probably say, but I saw it as
- 7:55Speaker 1: a kid. It's got a soft spot in my heart
- 7:57Speaker 1: and I love it.
- 7:59Speaker 3: And Dana.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Same thing with American Ninja. I watched American Ninja one, two, three, four,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and five when I was, you know, in my ten
- 8:07Speaker 1: to twelve year old age range, and I have I
- 8:10Speaker 1: hold a soft spot in my heart, not only for
- 8:11Speaker 1: the film franchise, but for Michael Dudokoff, the actor.
- 8:17Speaker 2: From Michael Doudakov.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Now that's a name.
- 8:23Speaker 6: No.
- 8:23Speaker 7: I think he's working next door with Chewi's right now.
- 8:25Speaker 7: I think we can come see him.
- 8:29Speaker 3: At least there's looking.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's the only gig he gets now.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Well, no, no, no, no no. He is up for
- 8:38Speaker 1: a new role as the wooly American Ninja, and I
- 8:45Speaker 1: for one will be lined up for that premiere.

- 10:32Speaker 1: you very much to Defender Outdoors new sponsor here inside
- 10:35Speaker 1: the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with Trey Trenholm, Raj
- 10:38Speaker 1: Sharma and Jerry Caldwell on frid Day, March seven, twenty
- 10:42Speaker 1: twenty five, and then seeing it as boisterously that time
- 10:45Speaker 1: because you guys have sucked all the love out of
- 10:48Speaker 1: my life by repeatedly referring to me as being into
- 10:52Speaker 1: bedroom activities that I am not into. So on you
- 10:56Speaker 1: now they're more into you, damn it. In a mostly
- 11:04Speaker 1: unrelated story, we all know what plumbers crack is, right,
- 11:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Well, plumbers crack isn't just for plumbers anymore
- 11:12Speaker 1: because it's the new hot fashion trend out of Milan.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Oh boy, okay, yeah, I now. Look, keeping in mind,
- 11:26Speaker 1: fashion has a tendency to blow things out of proportion,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and just because something may be in in the fashion
- 11:33Speaker 1: world doesn't necessarily mean it'll cross over into the real world.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It might be some version of it that crosses over.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But still, these things happen, and they have a way
- 11:42Speaker 1: of somewhat crossing over into our fashion. I mean, it's
- 11:45Speaker 1: a it's a it's a big leak to go from
- 11:47Speaker 1: the runways of Milan to the shelves of Old Navy,
- 11:50Speaker 1: but I mean you can see little traces of it,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and plumbers crack might be one of those things that
- 11:55Speaker 1: actually happens. Because in Milan, the hot new fashion trend
- 11:59Speaker 1: at law Fashion Week was low cut jeans, which Trey
- 12:03Speaker 1: Raj We've all talked about that that's something from the
- 12:05Speaker 1: nineties that we were all happy to see come back,
- 12:08Speaker 1: which is low cut jeans, especially after the mom jean
- 12:11Speaker 1: crazed you know. But it didn't stop at just the
- 12:18Speaker 1: low cut jeans, because at Milan Fashion Week it was
- 12:21Speaker 1: low cut jeans with a hint of plumbers crack showing.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Now with this good news comes bad news because the
- 12:30Speaker 1: plumber's crack is in, but it's in for both men
- 12:34Speaker 1: and women.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Oh no, yeah, didn't pretty much. Didn't we try but
- 12:43Speaker 3: cleavage in like the late oughts?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Did we? Or was that just accidental?
- 12:51Speaker 3: I think they actually tried that, didn't It didn't go anywhere.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It didn't stick. No, well, go ahead, roj.
- 13:00Speaker 7: Just saying how do you bring that up at the meeting? Like,
- 13:01Speaker 7: how do we what are we going to design jeans?
- 13:04Speaker 7: How are we going to do the genes this year?
- 13:06Speaker 7: You know, we need but cleavage.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I think that's exactly how it happens. I think they
- 13:11Speaker 1: all sit in a room at the various fashion weeks
- 13:14Speaker 1: and they have discussions about this and say, you know what,
- 13:16Speaker 1: we need more of more crack, and then some designers
- 13:20Speaker 1: take that with different meetings. But at Milan Fashion Week, Diesel,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I think it's the genes company Diesel. Diesel debuted its
- 13:30Speaker 1: latest collection and it features extremely low cut genes and
- 13:35Speaker 1: despite the sagging, there were no boxers or other underwear
- 13:38Speaker 1: showing underneath for men or women, so plumber's crack was
- 13:42Speaker 1: on full display. On the Milan runway. People immediately went
- 13:46Speaker 1: online and said they're hoping it doesn't become the hot
- 13:49Speaker 1: new trend. But you know, fashion has a way of
- 13:53Speaker 1: doing things, especially if it can be shocking and as
- 13:57Speaker 1: a means to stand out. So if you start seeing
- 14:01Speaker 1: a bunch of butt cleavage and plumber's crack out of nowhere,
- 14:04Speaker 1: it may not be accidental. It may be on purpose
- 14:07Speaker 1: because that person saw it at Milan Fashion Week and
- 14:10Speaker 1: they want to make sure that they're a trail blazer.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I guess, trendset or whatever.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It just.
- 14:18Speaker 4: So.
- 14:18Speaker 3: There was a movie called So Fine in nineteen eighty one.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I don't know if anybody's familiar with it, but accidentally,
- 14:28Speaker 3: the fashion that became all the rage was jeans with
- 14:32Speaker 3: the butt cutout in the In the movie, there was
- 14:36Speaker 3: a designer who bent over and his jeans split and
- 14:40Speaker 3: his butt was hanging out, and to save face, he
- 14:42Speaker 3: said he did it on purpose, and it caught on
- 14:45Speaker 3: and the next thing you know, in this particular movie
- 14:49Speaker 3: were jeans where your butt cheeks are cut out and exposed.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Sounds familiar.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Didn't Prince do that at the Grammys?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Maybe that's why it sounds familiar.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I was just afraid you guys were looking in my closet.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I was just wondering if you know you're disappointed, you're
- 15:11Speaker 5: gonna have to wait till next winter with your ugs.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Well, you don't want all of you to be cold.
- 15:21Speaker 1: My butt might be a little chili bo to make
- 15:23Speaker 1: sure my feet are toasty.
- 15:29Speaker 4: You are tree House.

- 16:15Speaker 2: Yay.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and
- 16:19Speaker 1: Jerry Caldwell on Fred March seven, twenty twenty five. All right,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I'm curious Trey's kind of got that look on his face.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Where are you smirking about their? Trenholme?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Oh, it was just a very stupid line.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I hope we cross it today if we
- 16:41Speaker 1: have it already, h okay. Speaking of stupid things. Earlier
- 16:45Speaker 1: this week, we told you about a very interesting story
- 16:48Speaker 1: and that was about a young Florida woman. How many
- 16:51Speaker 1: romantic comedies start out, But there was the story we
- 16:55Speaker 1: talked about earlier this week. It was the Florida woman
- 16:58Speaker 1: who wanted revenge on her ex boyfriend by vandalizing his car.
- 17:03Speaker 1: The problem is she vandalized the wrong car. Jerry, you
- 17:09Speaker 1: weren't here for that conversation, but that was the real
- 17:11Speaker 1: thing that happened that we talked about earlier this week.
- 17:13Speaker 1: In eighteen year old Florida female wanted revenge on her
- 17:16Speaker 1: ex boyfriend, so she and a friend of hers drank
- 17:19Speaker 1: a little bit too much, including four loco by the way, yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and traveled to where the ex boyfriend lives and proceeded
- 17:28Speaker 1: to vandalize his vehicle, spray painting horrible things all across
- 17:33Speaker 1: the car, and police were called. They showed up and
- 17:37Speaker 1: informed the young lady that's not his car. So another
- 17:42Speaker 1: great example of four loco and alcohol mixing to make
- 17:46Speaker 1: a bad compound. And we're not ones to leave things
- 17:52Speaker 1: well enough alone here inside the treehouse. So we decided
- 17:56Speaker 1: we would turn that unfortunate situation of the Florida woman
- 18:01Speaker 1: vandalizing the wrong car into a treehouse Top five. So
- 18:08Speaker 1: here we go. It is time for the treehouse Top five.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Today's category The top five things that the boyfriend said
- 18:16Speaker 1: to the girlfriend before she spray painted the wrong car.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Are we ready all right?
- 18:24Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:25Speaker 1: We will start with you at number five. Today's category.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Top five things said to the girlfriend before she spray
- 18:31Speaker 1: painted the wrong car Number five tray.
- 18:34Speaker 2: No, baby, you're a great driver. I always flinch at intersections.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Number four. The top five things that number four. The
- 18:50Speaker 1: top five things that the boyfriend said to the girlfriend
- 18:52Speaker 1: before she spray painted the wrong car RAJ number four.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Whatever you say, baby, you got it.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Of the top five things said to the girlfriend before
- 19:09Speaker 1: she spray painted the wrong car, Trey number three.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Sweetie, I was laughing at something else when you ask
- 19:16Speaker 5: if you were fat.
- 19:20Speaker 1: It's definitely dangerous territory m h threehouse. Top five things
- 19:27Speaker 1: said to the girlfriend before she spray painted the wrong car.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Number two Calm.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Down, Oh yeah, m that'll do it.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Look you made it out of the car.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Yeah you I feel like There's there's two C words
- 19:51Speaker 1: you can throw out a woman if you really want
- 19:53Speaker 1: a relationship to end. One of them is calmed down.
- 19:57Speaker 1: The other one is Trey's favorite. I think we all
- 20:01Speaker 1: know what that one is. Don't say it out loud, Tray,
- 20:03Speaker 1: we all get it, all right. And finally, the tree
- 20:08Speaker 1: House Top five for today, the top five things that
- 20:10Speaker 1: the boyfriend said to the girlfriend before she spray painted
- 20:14Speaker 1: the wrong car seeking revenge Number one.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Tray, Fine, we just won't eat then. That has been.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Another edition of the Treehouse Top Five. Right here inside
- 20:29Speaker 1: the tree House show the top five things the boyfriend
- 20:32Speaker 1: said to the girlfriend before she spray painted the wrong car.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I really got chills as I said, calm down, because
- 20:42Speaker 1: I've been married. Now this year, I will have been
- 20:46Speaker 1: married for thirteen years. I've never said that to my wife.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Mmmm.
- 20:52Speaker 1: And it's no coincidence that I've never said that to
- 20:54Speaker 1: my wife and we're still married, because I know better,
- 21:00Speaker 1: most of us know better. Trey. Have you ever used
- 21:06Speaker 1: that C word on on a woman or just the
- 21:08Speaker 1: other one?
- 21:10Speaker 2: Oh? No, I've used that one.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Does it precede the other one?
- 21:18Speaker 5: Like sometimes it's after just because that just uh.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Oh you'll you'll like put the Yoda spin on it.
- 21:27Speaker 1: We'll be like, calm down and then you wave her
- 21:33Speaker 1: hand and she disappears.
- 21:37Speaker 5: No, it's just kind of you know, once you've gotten
- 21:41Speaker 5: that mad and they're spinning and then calm down, sweetie,
- 21:46Speaker 5: it's not that.

- 22:54Speaker 1: On a day March seven, twenty five earlier, we were
- 23:00Speaker 1: talking about how scientists have created wooly mice on the
- 23:05Speaker 1: way to reviving the wooly mammoth. But that's not all
- 23:10Speaker 1: that scientists are up to. Scientists have created a shape
- 23:15Speaker 1: shifting nano robot that flows like liquid and hardens like steel.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Soun'dm familiar to anybody. Uh yes, terminator to do doom, Doom,
- 23:29Speaker 1: do doom. Yeah. I'd also like to point out that
- 23:33Speaker 1: reading headlines that start with the words scientists create is
- 23:37Speaker 1: now one of my biggest fears, because I feel like
- 23:40Speaker 1: they're doing a lot less scientific method and a lot
- 23:43Speaker 1: more of around and find out. I don't want to
- 23:52Speaker 1: be here when they find out. I mean, reviving the
- 23:56Speaker 1: wooly mammoth. I mean, we made fun of it, but
- 23:58Speaker 1: I mean that's that's Jurassic Park level stuff. I know
- 24:02Speaker 1: what that group of scientists think. It's just a woman mammoth.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That's where it starts. But once you figure out how
- 24:09Speaker 1: to do that, some fat guy with a barber saul
- 24:10Speaker 1: can will steal that knowledge, hand it off to someone,
- 24:14Speaker 1: and then next thing you know, we actually will have
- 24:17Speaker 1: weaponized wooly velociraptors running around the planet. So yeah, I
- 24:22Speaker 1: think we're just sealing our own fates here. But then
- 24:26Speaker 1: on top of that, Jurassic Park's not terrifying enough. Now
- 24:30Speaker 1: you've got robots actively trying to create As Jerry said,
- 24:33Speaker 1: the T one thousand from Terminator too, because Hollywood looked
- 24:38Speaker 1: at that film and said, you know what, Arnold Schwarzenegger's
- 24:42Speaker 1: Terminator was pretty scary, but we can do better. We
- 24:45Speaker 1: can make it even more terrifying. And they did. They
- 24:49Speaker 1: had the robot that was liquid metal and could harden
- 24:52Speaker 1: and cause murderous things to happen, and now they're trying
- 24:56Speaker 1: to create it in a lab.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Didn't That did not work?
- 25:02Speaker 1: After that movie, Oh no, he was in the X Files.
- 25:07Speaker 1: He was in the X Files for a while. He
- 25:09Speaker 1: was type cast for a little bit, the guy that
- 25:11Speaker 1: played the liquid terminator in T two. But he's actually
- 25:15Speaker 1: had a really good career and he's been doing a
- 25:17Speaker 1: lot of things lately. He was a bad guy in
- 25:20Speaker 1: season two of Reacher. He's also Peacemaker's dad in the
- 25:25Speaker 1: Peacemaker series.
- 25:29Speaker 2: He was on Scorpion.
- 25:30Speaker 1: He was on Scorpion. He's done really well for himself.
- 25:33Speaker 1: It helped that he got older in fat because he
- 25:37Speaker 1: was so good at playing the liquid metal terminator. He
- 25:41Speaker 1: was terrifying. You couldn't really cast him in anything like
- 25:44Speaker 1: he wasn't. He wasn't going to be able to make
- 25:47Speaker 1: the jump into sitcoms, although kurtwood Smith did. Kurtwood Smith
- 25:53Speaker 1: the actors, the guy that played the dad of Eric
- 25:56Speaker 1: on that seventies show, despite being a horrible, horrible bad
- 26:00Speaker 1: guy and robo cop, which I didn't kind of working
- 26:04Speaker 1: for that character dead Poet Society he was. He was
- 26:07Speaker 1: also in dead Poet Society. And guess what he was
- 26:09Speaker 1: in Dead Poet Society. He was oh mm hmm, it's
- 26:14Speaker 1: kind of his thing. Yeah, he had that look, had
- 26:17Speaker 1: that voice, which and again maybe that was part of
- 26:19Speaker 1: the reason he worked as you know, Eric's dad in
- 26:22Speaker 1: that seventies show, but otherwise, you know, Robert Patrick from
- 26:25Speaker 1: T two was very scary face.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Anyway, scientists are trying to create him now, I just
- 26:33Speaker 1: want to know that going for.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Us when they do, you know, recreate the wooly mammoth
- 26:36Speaker 5: and then inevitably velociraptors and t rex. How long do
- 26:43Speaker 5: you think it'll take before the first white woman, you know,
- 26:44Speaker 5: sees a baby and it's like, oh, come here, little sweetie,
- 26:47Speaker 5: and then gets mulled.
- 26:51Speaker 1: If I'm being honest, Tray it can't happen soon enough.
- 27:00Speaker 10: Treehouse Visit us online, a Treehouse on Air dot com.

- 27:36Speaker 1: everywhere you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Maley along with
- 27:40Speaker 1: Trade Trenholme, Ras Sharma and Jerry Caldwell. Speaking of Jerry calledwell,
- 27:43Speaker 1: what was it you were saying in the break Jerry?
- 27:46Speaker 1: The Robo Cup remake?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Oh, the reboot was terrible. Yeah, it was a Joel
- 27:51Speaker 3: Kinneman was just he he just he wasn't it.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I don't know if it was necessarily his. So Joel Kineman,
- 28:03Speaker 1: He's been some other things, but yeah he was. He
- 28:05Speaker 1: was the new Alex Murphy, the new RoboCop and the
- 28:08Speaker 1: robot Coop remake. Trey, did you see the Suicide Squad
- 28:12Speaker 1: movie that had Starrow the big like the the starfish
- 28:16Speaker 1: stuck into people's faces. Yeah, he was the one that
- 28:19Speaker 1: Peacemaker killed okay, Lieutenant Flag. So that's that's Joel Kineman raj.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Do you have any idea what I'm talking about? Yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 1: that's okay. But you know RoboCop, right, And did you
- 28:30Speaker 1: see the original robot Cop?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 28:34Speaker 1: In the original robo Cop starring history professor Peter Weller,
- 28:39Speaker 1: it's true. By the way, he gets ambushed by a
- 28:42Speaker 1: group of bad guys and they basically shoot him to bits.
- 28:46Speaker 1: And I mean that literally they shoot him to bits.
- 28:48Speaker 1: And so this evil organization where he creates him as
- 28:52Speaker 1: a police robot. Okay, that's RoboCop. That was from like
- 28:55Speaker 1: eighty eight, eighty nine somewhere in there, and then they
- 28:58Speaker 1: did a couple of those, and then they remade it,
- 29:00Speaker 1: like Hollywood does everything, they did a remake and it
- 29:02Speaker 1: was starring this Joel Kiddeman guy. And in the remake,
- 29:04Speaker 1: instead of him being shot a bunch of times into
- 29:06Speaker 1: little bits and pieces, they blow him up. And in
- 29:09Speaker 1: the scene where they're showing what he looks like underneath
- 29:12Speaker 1: the robot exoskeleton, it's basically his face, like the lightning
- 29:19Speaker 1: that goes from like his esophagus into his throat just
- 29:23Speaker 1: basically the main food tube. All the way down into
- 29:26Speaker 1: like I don't know, was that like a like a
- 29:27Speaker 1: sliver of pancreas or something, Jerry.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Uh, something like that he had that they decided they
- 29:35Speaker 3: wanted to get rid of, so they actually took more
- 29:37Speaker 3: off of him when they put him into the suit
- 29:39Speaker 3: in the reboot.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 1: So in the reboot when it shows what's left of
- 29:43Speaker 1: him inside, it's practically nothing of it. It was actually
- 29:45Speaker 1: kind of I'm sorry, but I laughed when they showed it,
- 29:49Speaker 1: like I know in the movie they're supposed to be
- 29:51Speaker 1: showing it like, oh, this is really sad. They've really
- 29:53Speaker 1: stripped the humanity away from this guy, and they did
- 29:56Speaker 1: it too much to where it was actually funny. It
- 30:00Speaker 1: was basically like the dude's face actually it was like
- 30:02Speaker 1: part of his face, the food tube, a gall bladder,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and a thumb and that was it. And they tried
- 30:06Speaker 1: to stay see and it was just really really laughable.
- 30:09Speaker 3: And his lungs they let him keep his lungs.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and the food tube is just called the
- 30:14Speaker 2: zyphoid process.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yes, that they let him keep that. Hollywood's very technical, clearly.
- 30:24Speaker 3: It was kind of the I kind of had the
- 30:25Speaker 3: same problems with that that I had with the Judge
- 30:27Speaker 3: Dread reboot.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Oh, the New Judge Dread was good though with uh yes,
- 30:38Speaker 1: the guy that played Bones in the New Star Trek movies.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I'm brain freighting on the same I love him, Trey.
- 30:43Speaker 1: He's one of your favorite actors right now because he
- 30:45Speaker 1: plays Billy Butcher on The Boys. Yes, oh, yeah, him.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I can't think of his name all of a sudden,
- 30:53Speaker 3: I know it.
- 30:54Speaker 6: Kurt, Oh, I feel like I'm not white enough for
- 31:00Speaker 6: this conversation. I'm just tons of stuff. Carl, Carl, phenomenal actor.
- 31:08Speaker 2: And he can drop the C word just it's just artistic.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, you need to watch The Boys.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, The Boys is so good.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I'd be right up your alley.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Seriously, brother, all all of what you said sounded so wrong.
- 31:30Speaker 1: How wrong the show The Boys is? Trust I know
- 31:34Speaker 1: the I.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Know the kind of the history of the show.
- 31:36Speaker 7: It's like the Superheroes, but you get to see the
- 31:38Speaker 7: bad side of them. Uh huh so yeah, I know,
- 31:41Speaker 7: like the Superman characters are supposed to be like a rapist.
- 31:47Speaker 3: That he is terrifying. Yeah, it's all the worst possible
- 31:52Speaker 3: things imaginable. It's really great.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Anyway, how do we get off on that.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know how you all three
- 32:01Speaker 2: get off on that anyway.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Birthdays today is Fred Day, March seven, twenty twenty four.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Birthdays today, Brandon T. Jackson turns forty forty one. He
- 32:18Speaker 1: turns forty one today. He played al Pacino in Tropic
- 32:22Speaker 1: thunder God. That movie's good. He's also a I think
- 32:27Speaker 1: he's all if. He's a Jehovah's witness, but he's a
- 32:30Speaker 1: a mega Christian now, right, Raj. Because he's also a
- 32:32Speaker 1: stadium comedian. He's also he used to be my neighbor.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I used to walk my dogs past his house. He's
- 32:37Speaker 1: a black Mennonite. That's what it is. Yeah, small world
- 32:41Speaker 1: because we also had him on the radio show years
- 32:42Speaker 1: ago when he was in town at the Improv and
- 32:44Speaker 1: then he lived next to you, Raj.
- 32:47Speaker 2: And yeah, he like.
- 32:50Speaker 7: I just saw this guy one day with flowing robes
- 32:55Speaker 7: and like purple and gold ribbon in his hair, and
- 32:58Speaker 7: I was like, Okay, so the homeless are here now
- 33:01Speaker 7: in our neighborhood.
- 33:02Speaker 2: And I was like, oh no, that's Brendon.
- 33:06Speaker 1: This neighborhood's really gone to hell.
- 33:09Speaker 7: And I was walking my dog past him one day
- 33:12Speaker 7: he was in his gear and I said, Brandon, how
- 33:17Speaker 7: you doing And He's like, I'm blessed. And I was like, oh,
- 33:20Speaker 7: that's conversations about to stop right here. I'm gonna keep walking.
- 33:24Speaker 1: That was a weird day in studio, let me tell you,
- 33:26Speaker 1: because we somehow in our research for the interview that
- 33:31Speaker 1: part didn't really come up very much. We're a man
- 33:34Speaker 1: that focused on the movie Tropic Thunder that we all
- 33:37Speaker 1: loved because he was the one that has the argument
- 33:40Speaker 1: with Robert Downey Jr. And Robert Downey Junior says you people,
- 33:43Speaker 1: He says, what do you mean? You people? That's him,
- 33:45Speaker 1: love that movie, but very surprised by the actual man
- 33:49Speaker 1: as opposed to the character that he played.
- 33:51Speaker 7: Yes, and then there was Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thieves,
- 33:55Speaker 7: which just sounds like an R and B band from
- 33:57Speaker 7: the seventies to me.
- 33:59Speaker 2: But yeah, I would watch. I'd go see them in concert.
- 34:03Speaker 7: If you were like, hey, man, I got an extra
- 34:04Speaker 7: ticket person Jackson Lightning Thieves, I'm like, we are going.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Like I'm pretty sure Jodasy opened for them.
- 34:12Speaker 2: One member.

- 35:18Speaker 1: Show on social media. Today is actually really rich with birthdays,
- 35:32Speaker 1: so I want to share a few of those with
- 35:33Speaker 1: you before we take off for the weekend. And I
- 35:38Speaker 1: can't do it without my noise, So here we go, alright,
- 35:44Speaker 1: seven twenty twenty five birthdays today include in addition to
- 35:48Speaker 1: Brandon T. Jackson, and I didn't plan this one. This
- 35:51Speaker 1: is part of the reason I needed to share this
- 35:53Speaker 1: birthday with you, because we talked about it earlier in
- 35:54Speaker 1: the show, and I did not look at birthdays ahead
- 35:56Speaker 1: of time. And this is the exact reason why I
- 35:58Speaker 1: don't look ahead birthdays, because we get happy accidents like these.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Laura Prepond, who was Donna on that seventies show, is
- 36:07Speaker 1: forty five today, so we get full circle on how
- 36:11Speaker 1: we talk about something completely random earlier in the show
- 36:14Speaker 1: without even realizing when we were talking about kurtwood Smith
- 36:18Speaker 1: being the dad of that seventy show. One of the
- 36:19Speaker 1: kids from that seventy show. It's her birthday. Laura Prepond
- 36:22Speaker 1: forty five today, also from Orange is the New Black?
- 36:26Speaker 1: Also actually really other some really good birthdays today. Jenna Fisher,
- 36:29Speaker 1: who most famously played Pam on The Office, is fifty one,
- 36:33Speaker 1: which is stunning to say that out loud, that she's
- 36:36Speaker 1: fifty one. My goodness. And speaking of Hollywood neighbors, raj
- 36:41Speaker 1: birthday boy, Brandon T. Jackson was your neighbor when you
- 36:44Speaker 1: lived in Hollywood. And our buddy Tone who's big in Hollywood,
- 36:51Speaker 1: when he was living in Los Angeles. He's since moved,
- 36:53Speaker 1: but when he was living full time in Los Angeles,
- 36:56Speaker 1: his next door neighbor was Angela from the Who is
- 37:00Speaker 1: Pam from the Office's Best Friend? They'd have one of
- 37:03Speaker 1: the most successive podcasts in the world called The Office Ladies.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Once again, I know all these things. Don't remember what
- 37:11Speaker 1: happened last night? My brain is a shrinking WALNUTT put
- 37:18Speaker 1: that out there. Speaking of shrinking walnuts, trade, did you
- 37:22Speaker 1: see the story the other day? I wanted to share
- 37:24Speaker 1: this with you, that a study was done or research
- 37:27Speaker 1: or whatever. Something I saw online said that even one
- 37:31Speaker 1: alcoholic drink per day can shrink your brain, and I
- 37:36Speaker 1: feel like that explains a lot about me and my
- 37:38Speaker 1: head health.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It can't be that true or else I literally.
- 37:47Speaker 1: You'd look like Bob.
- 37:48Speaker 5: I'd be on a breathing machine because my brain couldn't
- 37:51Speaker 5: do it.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Not thought wine was supposed to be good for you.
- 37:57Speaker 7: Now they're saying, like, the two glasses of wine a
- 38:00Speaker 7: day is not apparently not good for you anymore.
- 38:04Speaker 1: It goes, it goes back and forth.
- 38:07Speaker 2: It's poison it is.
- 38:10Speaker 1: That's at the end of the day. Alcohol is poisoned.
- 38:14Speaker 1: And when research says that even one drink can shrink
- 38:19Speaker 1: your brain, it makes sense. I mean, Trey, you and
- 38:23Speaker 1: I definitely should look like Bob, the head shrunken guy
- 38:26Speaker 1: from Beetlejuice. Yep, now we know what Bob's problem was.
- 38:35Speaker 2: He wasn't he wasn't a ghoul. He was just an alcoholic.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't have the story pull up in front
- 38:43Speaker 1: of me right now, but that was the thing is,
- 38:45Speaker 1: like one drink per day really can have a profound
- 38:48Speaker 1: effect on the human body, including shrinking your brain. And
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'll be honest, I was not all that surprised by it.
- 38:59Speaker 3: The hell with it whatever.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I get it. I get it. Jerry,
- 39:03Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know. Trey is sober. Raj
- 39:06Speaker 1: you were not drinking since December. I'm not sure if
- 39:09Speaker 1: you're still on that train or not. My wife and
- 39:12Speaker 1: I did dry January, and we we nailed it. We
- 39:16Speaker 1: did dry January, and we have reintroduced some alcohol back
- 39:22Speaker 1: into our lives, but not nearly at the point that
- 39:24Speaker 1: it was pre January. So we're doing good on that front.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I feel better, I sleep better, but obviously some of
- 39:33Speaker 1: the effects of alcohol have taken it as toll. That's
- 39:35Speaker 1: why I still can't remember certain things. That's you know.
- 39:37Speaker 1: So when I saw the headline alcohol shrinks your brain,
- 39:40Speaker 1: was like, yeah, of course it does. That's not surprising.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Luckily it's something we only use like five percent of anyway.
- 39:45Speaker 1: So I've got room. Yeah, I've got room to I've
- 39:50Speaker 1: got room to ungrow.
- 39:53Speaker 2: This is how much alcohol.
- 39:55Speaker 7: I was comparing it to him, like five percent, like
- 39:57Speaker 7: five point two percent alcohol, Like what you talking about?
- 40:00Speaker 2: Like my volume, that's not even twelve proof.
- 40:07Speaker 1: I just need to know if I can get it
- 40:08Speaker 1: before noon on Sunday. So congratulations to a more scientific
- 40:15Speaker 1: data backing up your very wise decision to stop drinking alcohol.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Yeah, it wasn't scientific data that Vick made me quit drinking.
- 40:28Speaker 2: It's called rock bottom.
- 40:29Speaker 5: Yeah plus fifty feet.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I hit groundwater.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Thanks for hanging out with us, not only today but
- 40:42Speaker 1: all week inside the Treehouse. Do it's a huge favor.
- 40:45Speaker 1: We would appreciate it. Share the show with a friend.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Some of that needs a bit of a pick me up,
- 40:47Speaker 1: had a hard day, had a hard week, having a
- 40:49Speaker 1: hard life. Maybe they have a head the size of
- 40:52Speaker 1: Bob from Beetlejuice, or they have a tiny brain like
- 40:55Speaker 1: the rest of us from too much alcohol. Share the
- 40:57Speaker 1: show with them. They would appreciate it. Anyone that needs
- 41:00Speaker 1: a laugh, do that. At Treehouse OnAir dot com you

- 41:17Speaker 1: at that Jerry Guy. We'll see you back here on Monday.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Inside the Treehouse
