Gandhi Faces FIR Over Caste Ritual | India News
Rahul Gandhi faces an FIR in Uttarakhand after calling a post-rally “purification” ritual casteist and demanding action — sparking nationwide Congress protests framing it as an attack on social justice. The FIR, filed by a Valmiki community member, accuses him of promoting enmity and spreading false information; Congress insists the real target is BJP’s defense of discriminatory practices and demands charges be dropped while holding those behind the ritual accountable.
