  Speaker 2: I just happened to be a recipient.

  Speaker 1: I just happened to got a couple of things right,

  Speaker 1: and man, his grace and mercy carries you the rest

  Speaker 1: of the way. All you got to do is get

  Speaker 1: a couple of things right, and then his grace and

  Speaker 1: his mercy will take over his favor, his love of you.

  Speaker 1: It's it's already evident. I mean, you know, because so

  Speaker 1: many times we go along without even acknowledging him or

  Speaker 1: conferring with him in our decisions, and we look up
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: when we find ourselves in a predicament and He always

  Speaker 1: comes comes to the rescue. He always manages to show up.

  Speaker 1: He's never too late, he's never one minute too late.

  Speaker 1: And so in light of this today I wanted to

  Speaker 1: talk to you about something. It's another principle of success

  Speaker 1: that I'd like to share with everybody this morning. And

  Speaker 1: once again, these are not things that you don't know

  Speaker 1: or you've never heard before. These are just reminders along
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: the way. And one of the things you have to

  Speaker 1: be conscious of is don't be afraid to change. Don't

  Speaker 1: be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. See,
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: I have a theory, don't be afraid to change because
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: change is coming anyway. You know, everything changes, nothing remains
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: the same nothing, and change is inevitable. Now, you could
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: participate in the change, or you can react to the change.

  Speaker 1: Are you following me? You can participate in the change

  Speaker 1: or you can react to the change. But don't be

  Speaker 1: afraid to change because change is coming anyway. Now, what

  Speaker 1: I mean by that is this in participating in the

  Speaker 1: change or reacting in the change, there is a difference.

  Speaker 2: See, if you react to the change, that means the
• 2:24
  Speaker 2: change has.

  Speaker 1: Occurred and now you have to make the necessary adjustments

  Speaker 1: to the change. Example, the boss walks in, You think

  Speaker 1: your job is good. The boss walks in and hands

  Speaker 1: you a pink slip. That right there, that's a change.

  Speaker 1: Now you didn't participate in this change because you didn't

  Speaker 1: ask for the pink slip, But now you got to

  Speaker 1: react to the pink slip. Whenever you have to react

  Speaker 1: to the change, it's an adjustment period. It almost throws

  Speaker 1: you off. So change is going to come. It always does.

  Speaker 1: You could participate or you can react. Or let's say

  Speaker 1: your boss comes in and hands you the pink slip,

  Speaker 1: and you said, you know what I've been preparing for

  Speaker 1: this day?

  Speaker 2: Always knew nothing.

  Speaker 1: Last forever, I've been working on the sideline on the

  Speaker 1: business idea I had, and I had, or I had
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: several other applications in around town. I was just holding

  Speaker 1: off to see what was going going. So when they

  Speaker 1: hand you the pink slip, the transition, the adjustment you
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: make is a lot more smooth transition because now you
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: just transition into your new business idea that you've been
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: working on. Are you transitioned into the apps you already
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: had in or the contacts you made the preparation for
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: when the day they come in hand you the pink slip, Well, Steve,

  Speaker 1: what did they surprise you with it? This is just
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: one example I'm giving you.

  Speaker 2: So you know, let's Nick picked the message.

  Speaker 1: So what I'm saying to everybody is, don't be afraid

  Speaker 1: to change, because change is coming anyway. So many people
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: are stuck in a rut because of our refusal to change.

  Speaker 1: I was hell bent on a certain thing going a
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: certain way, and this is how it was gonna go. Well,
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: that that I was thinking didn't really fit. Now, in
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: my own personal experience, this may not be yours, but
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: in my own personal experience, the things that I've had
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: the most trouble letting go of was something I wanted.

  Speaker 2: When I line.

  Speaker 1: Myself up with the will of God to ask God

  Speaker 1: what he wanted from me. You understand, those things came

  Speaker 1: a lot more easy to me because it was in

  Speaker 1: the will of God. It was what God wanted me

  Speaker 1: to do too. Okay, see what you mean by that? Okay,

  Speaker 1: here we go. Things were going wrong in relationships.

  Speaker 1: What I did was the biggest mistake I've ever made.

  Speaker 1: Was I attempted to fix what was wrong in my

  Speaker 1: relationship outside of the relationship.

  Speaker 2: Feel me.

  Speaker 1: Okay, So I'm out there working my groove like I

  Speaker 1: want to. Well, now, guess what, there's a cause and

  Speaker 1: effect for all of that too. Your house ain't gonna

  Speaker 1: get better, it can't. And then that lays room for
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: some other things. And so now that when the change come,

  Speaker 1: guess what I got to react to it? Now, I gotta,

  Speaker 1: I gotta, I gotta have a reaction to it. Had

  Speaker 1: I lined myself up in the will of God, the

  Speaker 1: transition may have gone differently. It could have still ended
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: the relationship. But guess what, some of the pain I's

  Speaker 1: in I ain't had to go through. I bought a

  Speaker 1: lot on myself. Sometimes you're pursuing a passion of yours,

  Speaker 1: and what God really wants you to do is pursue
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: your gift. So now you're pursuing your passion, right, you
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: passion about golf. You love golf so much, you just determine.

  Speaker 1: But now you're done messed around. You ain't made it
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: on the PGA Tour yet, and you forty five, still
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: talking about I'm gonna play on the PGA Tour. Really okay,
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: Maybe you ain't as good as this you think, or
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: maybe you're not as gifted as you think.
• 6:32
  Speaker 2: Maybe you're pursuing a passion.
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: Sometimes, man, we have to change and we have to
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: ask God what is his will? His will is much simpler.

  Speaker 1: It's a simpler roule. Not going to be easier, it's simpler.

  Speaker 1: See when I wake up now, it's simple for me
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: to wake up because I know that are few things
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: that I have to do. I have to click this

  Speaker 1: mic on. I have to be positive, I have to

  Speaker 1: be aspirit, I have to be informative, I have to

  Speaker 1: be uplifting.

  Speaker 1: All I got to do is sit down, close my eyes,

  Speaker 1: ask God to help me be who he want me

  Speaker 1: to be, and for the most part, he tell me

  Speaker 1: what to say. Now, guess what he's done though, to

  Speaker 1: create this in me. I went through enough things in

  Speaker 1: my life. I had enough challenges. I made plenty of mistakes.

  Speaker 1: So now at my age, I can turn around and

  Speaker 1: tell somebody listening to me, Okay, this is what I did.

  Speaker 1: This is a mistake I made. Maybe you see yourself

  Speaker 1: in this story right here. Maybe you don't have to
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: go this way. Or this is what I've learned about
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: becoming successful. Here's a principle that I learned. But then,
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: guess what I had to be unsuccessful to get it though,
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: didn't I? So you can't have a testimony without a
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: test Change is coming. It's inevitable. You can participate or
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: you can react. I much prefer to participate in the change.
