- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost Famous podcast with I R Radio
- 0:04Speaker 1: Bob getting here with Trista Sutter. Welcome to almost Famous
- 0:08Speaker 1: the O G S And we are back in your
- 0:11Speaker 1: living room, your car, or your earhole, wherever you may be,
- 0:15Speaker 1: taking of wherever we may be. Trista, it's a different
- 0:18Speaker 1: setting for you. It looks like you're in some plush,
- 0:20Speaker 1: luxurious hotel, fantasy suite of sorts. Look at you. Oh, yes,
- 0:25Speaker 1: the fantasy suite. I can't tell you the details just yet,
- 0:29Speaker 1: but I'm in l A for just a couple of days,
- 0:32Speaker 1: real quick trip away from the fam, away from the
- 0:36Speaker 1: home and uh and I'll fill in later. All right,
- 0:41Speaker 1: are you there doing anything with anyone we may know?
- 0:44Speaker 1: That's all I would like to ask. Is there anyone
- 0:47Speaker 1: we may know? So, Ashley I invited me to come
- 0:51Speaker 1: to l A for an event that she's hosting. So
- 0:54Speaker 1: very really excited to be able to see her and
- 0:58Speaker 1: a few other people that everyone may know. A networking
- 1:03Speaker 1: friendships that come as a result of handing out flowers.
- 1:07Speaker 1: That's right, hey, um, And speaking of friendships made as
- 1:11Speaker 1: a result of handing out flowers, guess who I got
- 1:14Speaker 1: to see last night? I was like, who can have
- 1:17Speaker 1: dinner with me? Who can have dinner with me? And um,
- 1:20Speaker 1: Lisa Levinson I got to sit next to last night
- 1:23Speaker 1: and have drinks with Yeah, oh my gosh, one of
- 1:26Speaker 1: our executive producers from back in the day. She's an
- 1:32Speaker 1: She is an o g she was they're from the
- 1:35Speaker 1: beginning like creating the show and had her hand and everything.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I honestly owe her and Flice and all the EPs
- 1:44Speaker 1: so much. I feel like they really we're looking out
- 1:48Speaker 1: for me, her especially so you know, I always say
- 1:52Speaker 1: that the producers, um, they want a happy ending because
- 1:59Speaker 1: because validates the show, because you know, people want to
- 2:03Speaker 1: see a happy ending. I think a lot of people
- 2:05Speaker 1: assume that they just want the drama. But I know,
- 2:08Speaker 1: at least when it was my season, they wanted a
- 2:12Speaker 1: happy ending. They wanted to do everything possible for me
- 2:18Speaker 1: to find my happy ending. So I think they needed
- 2:22Speaker 1: it anyway. You know, I think that the franchise, the
- 2:24Speaker 1: franchise needed it, and so it was one of those
- 2:27Speaker 1: things that would validate the show. And I mean, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: you probably gave him an extra ten seasons just from
- 2:34Speaker 1: rejecting rejecting my affections and turning your head, turning your
- 2:41Speaker 1: head to Ryan Sutter because the fact that I rejected
- 2:45Speaker 1: your affections made you the Bachelor, So that just continued
- 2:50Speaker 1: the franchise even longer. Excellent point, just excellent. So if
- 2:55Speaker 1: you're just tuning into our show, you will know that
- 2:58Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago we started this little fun
- 3:01Speaker 1: project where we're kind of filling in for for Ben
- 3:03Speaker 1: and Ashley, and we went through trista season with a
- 3:08Speaker 1: fine tune with comb and then last week we went
- 3:10Speaker 1: through mine. Just the first episode though, shying you. Yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 1: just first and and I have to say that, Sorry
- 3:17Speaker 1: I'm interrupting you, but I do have to say that
- 3:18Speaker 1: the episode about my season, it says my ment my women,
- 3:23Speaker 1: my mentell all. But we definitely didn't go there. So
- 3:26Speaker 1: if you're listening to if you go back and listen
- 3:29Speaker 1: to that episode, it wasn't my mental all was my
- 3:31Speaker 1: first episode. And maybe we'll get to the menteal ally
- 3:35Speaker 1: episodes because that could be fun. Anyway, go ahead, Sorry, yes, no,
- 3:39Speaker 1: no problem. And then it was a hot seat. I
- 3:41Speaker 1: felt like I was in the hot seat last week,
- 3:43Speaker 1: especially considering the fact that we had my runner up
- 3:46Speaker 1: on the show, Kelly Joe, who joined us. If you
- 3:50Speaker 1: if you you know, we're only able to listen and
- 3:52Speaker 1: you didn't get to see the clips we posted. She
- 3:54Speaker 1: was in the in the stylist chair getting her hair
- 3:57Speaker 1: did with the foils in there. And then Julie Smith
- 4:01Speaker 1: joined us. He was also on my season, and we've
- 4:05Speaker 1: had a great friendship. That's that's growing out of the
- 4:07Speaker 1: Kentucky Derby that started with The Bachelor of course, but um,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you know, we had kicked her out a couple of ideas,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and one of the things we threw out there last
- 4:14Speaker 1: week was to put out some questions to our listeners,
- 4:17Speaker 1: the people that have been listening in for us. And
- 4:18Speaker 1: I've been getting a ton of awesome feedback on the show,
- 4:21Speaker 1: by the way, so that's been really nice. And there
- 4:24Speaker 1: were some great questions that came along, a couple that
- 4:27Speaker 1: I think we probably would already know the answer to
- 4:29Speaker 1: right like, for example, um, you know, I think did
- 4:34Speaker 1: they give this was something that I thought I was
- 4:36Speaker 1: making fun of you the first week saying that you know, Trista,
- 4:38Speaker 1: as you can see, she's already got a stylist in
- 4:40Speaker 1: the glam squad there in the hotel. Just I mean
- 4:43Speaker 1: I did, Yes, I will back up I did have
- 4:46Speaker 1: a style list, but she wasn't Carrie Fetman. Like you
- 4:50Speaker 1: were like, did you have Carrie Fetman? I did, but
- 4:54Speaker 1: she wasn't Carrie Fetman, and she was great, but I
- 4:57Speaker 1: pretty much had chosen. There's a really on story. I
- 5:00Speaker 1: don't know if you want to hear it, um, but
- 5:02Speaker 1: I had pretty much gone shopping for all of my stuff.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I set up this thing at sacks um and got
- 5:09Speaker 1: all of the clothing. Um. So I had a stylist
- 5:14Speaker 1: kind of helping me organize which days I would wear
- 5:17Speaker 1: which outfits. But it was not Karrie Fetman who was
- 5:21Speaker 1: going after the you know, the big brands and asking them,
- 5:25Speaker 1: you know, if I could wear their their beautiful gowns. Yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 1: it was Cary Carry definitely brought a different Carrie Fetman
- 5:32Speaker 1: came on, I believe right after your season. I'm not
- 5:36Speaker 1: sure if he was with Andrew or Aaron, but I
- 5:39Speaker 1: know he was on my season. Stylist came in all
- 5:42Speaker 1: of a sudden, you know, the the fashion level went
- 5:45Speaker 1: through the roof, right, because Carrie's pretty great at that stuff.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And I remember he he got me a tuxedo to
- 5:51Speaker 1: wear to the Emmy's which was really cool. Yeah, so
- 5:55Speaker 1: I had a tuxedo to wear, which I thought was
- 5:56Speaker 1: pretty awesome. You know. Unfortunately I don't even think I
- 5:59Speaker 1: could fit my sigh in it now. But back in
- 6:01Speaker 1: the time, back in the day, it fit me like
- 6:04Speaker 1: a glove. Now it's like trying to, you know, where
- 6:08Speaker 1: my kid's glove. But yeah, we got some questions, and
- 6:12Speaker 1: a couple of are pretty specific, and one of them
- 6:14Speaker 1: I thought that was pretty interesting, you know, and I think, um,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you know, we both know the answer to this one.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Do you think your life would be different after the
- 6:22Speaker 1: show if social media was around when we were the
- 6:25Speaker 1: leads of the show, And I I definitely think that that. Uh,
- 6:29Speaker 1: We've said it a lot that the show would be
- 6:32Speaker 1: very different, um, and our lives would be very different, um,
- 6:36Speaker 1: because we didn't have to deal with that, So I
- 6:38Speaker 1: can say this honestly, I was lucky. I was on
- 6:40Speaker 1: the beginning of when, um, social media kind of started,
- 6:45Speaker 1: or I shouldn't even say the beginning. It was more like,
- 6:47Speaker 1: basically there was chat rooms that were pretty prevalent during
- 6:51Speaker 1: the time of me being on The Bachelor, and man,
- 6:54Speaker 1: it was brutal, Like I literally had no idea how
- 6:58Speaker 1: to even access the chat rooms. So I just had
- 7:00Speaker 1: the luxury of people bringing it up to me when
- 7:02Speaker 1: they would meet me and tell me, oh, yeah, you know,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I was reading on the chat boards that you know,
- 7:05Speaker 1: you have an Ogilvie homeperm. I'm like what, so you
- 7:08Speaker 1: know it was never nice stuff, very nice stuff. I'm like, no,
- 7:11Speaker 1: this is a natural sister. But you know, how about you?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Do you think that things would have been a whole
- 7:16Speaker 1: lot different with I'm sure with you know, social media
- 7:19Speaker 1: and stuff, especially with you being the first woman doing
- 7:21Speaker 1: the show. Oh for sure. Uh, people I don't think
- 7:26Speaker 1: would have been well, okay, so I'll say that during
- 7:30Speaker 1: my season there were message boards. You you know, you
- 7:33Speaker 1: talked about the chat rooms. There were message boards, and
- 7:36Speaker 1: I have a little bit of technological savviness in me,
- 7:40Speaker 1: and I did look at all of those and they
- 7:43Speaker 1: were not fun to look at. So I feel like
- 7:46Speaker 1: the level of the message boards is maybe down here,
- 7:49Speaker 1: but Instagram and Facebook everything would have been way higher
- 7:54Speaker 1: and way um more intrusive, way wayney nerve um. So
- 8:01Speaker 1: I definitely think things would have affected me in a
- 8:06Speaker 1: in a negative way because I'm very sensitive and even
- 8:11Speaker 1: though you know, going through this process you have to
- 8:17Speaker 1: have a thicker skin. You just have to or you
- 8:20Speaker 1: will not survive it because people come out of the
- 8:23Speaker 1: woodwork just criticizing everything about you. I mean, I was
- 8:27Speaker 1: criticized for the way I walked, the way I talked,
- 8:30Speaker 1: my baby talk. Oh god. I mean to this day,
- 8:33Speaker 1: if I do a story or something and I'm talking,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you know, when you're talking to your kids, your babies,
- 8:39Speaker 1: or your dog, you know which I always talk baby
- 8:41Speaker 1: talk to my dog. Oh look at your fie beer,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you know, or whatever, I'm like, Oh, I can't. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: can't sound like like, you can't use my baby talk
- 8:50Speaker 1: voice because people will criticize me because that's what they
- 8:53Speaker 1: did back then. So you have to have a thick skin.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But I think it's really really difficult being in that position.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And yet I it would have been really hard for me. Well,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I would hear like one, I would hear like five
- 9:06Speaker 1: nice things and they would just be like, you know,
- 9:10Speaker 1: not that they were wasted on me, but it would
- 9:11Speaker 1: just be like, and then I hear one mean thing,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and man, it would stick with me for a week,
- 9:14Speaker 1: you know, And it was brutal. So I can only
- 9:16Speaker 1: imagine with social media being the way it is now,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and someone going through their in the microscope, you know, Um,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I mean I don't think that. You know. The question
- 9:24Speaker 1: that we got was do you think that you would
- 9:28Speaker 1: your your life would be the same. Do you think
- 9:30Speaker 1: your life would be different after the show if social
- 9:33Speaker 1: media was around when you were the lead. I don't
- 9:35Speaker 1: think my life would have been different because I do
- 9:39Speaker 1: think that um, Ryan and I had a very strong
- 9:43Speaker 1: bond and worked on it after the show regardless. But
- 9:48Speaker 1: I do think it would have been way harder. Yeah, agreed,
- 9:52Speaker 1: no doubt about it. You know. I think that was
- 9:53Speaker 1: a great question too. And another question I saw in
- 9:56Speaker 1: here that I thought was really uh topical and relevant
- 9:59Speaker 1: was for me specifically, says Bob, is your wife ever
- 10:02Speaker 1: watched your season? And what is she thinking? So the
- 10:06Speaker 1: answer that is, no, she's never gotten to see my season.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Allegedly now her mom her mom, her mom was a
- 10:14Speaker 1: big fan of of of your season and my season,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and um, but Canyon Jessica was in her senior in
- 10:22Speaker 1: high school slash freshman year in college, so she was like,
- 10:25Speaker 1: you know, well, you know, I may have watched Tris
- 10:28Speaker 1: this season, but no offense, you're too old for me.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I would have you know, like too old for you.
- 10:32Speaker 1: We're married. She's like, well then then you then you
- 10:34Speaker 1: know so. But she found out the other day. I
- 10:38Speaker 1: told her that I watched the first episode the other
- 10:40Speaker 1: night and that I couldn't stand my voice, my hair
- 10:43Speaker 1: and half the things that came out of my mouth.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And she's like, read a minute, because you know, it's
- 10:46Speaker 1: been difficult to find um. And she's like, hold on, wait,
- 10:49Speaker 1: you were able to watch it. I want to watch it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I'm like, are you sure because you've only seen the
- 10:53Speaker 1: only episode she's ever gotten to see was on TiVo.
- 10:56Speaker 1: My brother in law TiVo the whole season thinking that
- 10:58Speaker 1: cutting edge technology would still be around, and clearly doesn't.
- 11:01Speaker 1: He plugged it into his TV. It was kind of
- 11:03Speaker 1: in black and white, which sort of helps her joke
- 11:04Speaker 1: because she likes to say those kind of things. And
- 11:08Speaker 1: it was basically like where I was the kissing bandit
- 11:10Speaker 1: in this one particular episode and every time she turned around,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm like making out with somebody. She was just like, Okay,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I've seen enough. I told her. I'm like, okay, we're
- 11:21Speaker 1: gonna watch it. We have you know, when we moved
- 11:24Speaker 1: back to Michigan, we redid our basement. We have a
- 11:26Speaker 1: movie room in our basement, so I'm going to stream
- 11:28Speaker 1: it to the movie screen so she can actually watch
- 11:31Speaker 1: it in uh, you know, big screen magic. So we'll
- 11:34Speaker 1: see how that goes, all right. Have you ever been
- 11:47Speaker 1: to the Bachelor mansion that they used today? Short answer, No,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I've been past it. I've actually ridden past it, and
- 11:55Speaker 1: uh I was invited to it probably three or four times,
- 11:58Speaker 1: but I have not been able to go to it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: As of interest, I know you have been. I have.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I went. The first time I went was for an
- 12:08Speaker 1: event that um Sean and I were handing out roses
- 12:13Speaker 1: to the media and we invited the media to come
- 12:17Speaker 1: in and see, and I think at that point in
- 12:19Speaker 1: time it was the first time that the media had
- 12:21Speaker 1: been invited inside, so that was kind of exciting. And
- 12:25Speaker 1: then the second I believe I don't think I've been
- 12:28Speaker 1: more than two times. The second time was for the
- 12:30Speaker 1: Bachelor at reunion that we taped. I think it was
- 12:33Speaker 1: two years ago, maybe three, and that was so much fun.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I mean, I think the one of the obviously, the
- 12:45Speaker 1: thing that I'm most am grateful for because of this
- 12:48Speaker 1: experience is my husband and the life that we've created.
- 12:52Speaker 1: But the second thing that I'm most grateful for is
- 12:54Speaker 1: the friendships and to be able to meet all of
- 12:56Speaker 1: these women that all share one you know, this this
- 13:00Speaker 1: really rare thing in common to be able to you know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: be the lead on this show that has been around
- 13:09Speaker 1: for you know, um almost twenty years. But it's really
- 13:13Speaker 1: part of pop culture, and I'm just grateful for that.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So it was really really fun. And my daughter was
- 13:20Speaker 1: there because it was springbreak and we had, honestly it
- 13:24Speaker 1: timing worked out. We had planned to go to l
- 13:26Speaker 1: A for spring break, so I brought her along and
- 13:29Speaker 1: she got to meet all the girls, and at least
- 13:32Speaker 1: until that point, so it was um who was the
- 13:37Speaker 1: last one? Hannah wasn't there? I think it was probably,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I don't know. Wasn't Rachel there? Rachel? Rachel? It was Rachel.
- 13:46Speaker 1: So Rachel. I remember the photos from that. I remember
- 13:49Speaker 1: the pictures from that, and it looked like it was
- 13:51Speaker 1: just a ton of fun. I mean, I would love
- 13:53Speaker 1: if they did something like that for the guys too.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I would I would love that, But but I also
- 13:57Speaker 1: understand that it's it's actually probably a lot more fun
- 14:00Speaker 1: to see all the all the girls together that it
- 14:01Speaker 1: would be to see all the guys together necessarily, you know,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I would love to see how I would love for
- 14:06Speaker 1: all of us to get together. I would wish they
- 14:08Speaker 1: would do because the anniversary, Um, I feel like that
- 14:13Speaker 1: would be a big one if it's still around. I
- 14:15Speaker 1: really wish. Maybe I'll even write Flice and be like, dude,
- 14:19Speaker 1: come on, get on party planning. Let's put something together
- 14:23Speaker 1: and invite everybody, like you're right, because that's like the
- 14:27Speaker 1: silver you know, you know, the silver anniversary of Sours, right,
- 14:30Speaker 1: that's what that is. And I think that'd be pretty
- 14:33Speaker 1: cool to do. I mean, yeah, I agree with you.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I think that'd be awesome. I think it be a
- 14:36Speaker 1: ton of fun. Um. Yeah, and we you and I
- 14:39Speaker 1: have talked about a couple of the questions that popped
- 14:41Speaker 1: up on here. One. Um, do your kids know what
- 14:43Speaker 1: the show is? And how does the show where? You know?
- 14:45Speaker 1: I know for you that they do for me. My
- 14:49Speaker 1: kids are three and nine months old. So yeah, I talked.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I talked about it daily. You might be surprised, of course,
- 14:54Speaker 1: of course, why wouldn't you. This is a good one.
- 14:56Speaker 1: So did you get uh, do you still have the
- 14:59Speaker 1: same wedding ring that the same engagement ring that Ryan
- 15:01Speaker 1: proposed on the show to you with or do you
- 15:04Speaker 1: have another? So on the show at that point in time,
- 15:11Speaker 1: Neil Lane was not working with the show. So I
- 15:15Speaker 1: received a Harry Winston ring, and right right, I think
- 15:20Speaker 1: they had kind of like a deal with them at
- 15:22Speaker 1: that point. And so it was like an emerald cut, um,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and then too like side diamonds. I don't know what
- 15:30Speaker 1: you call it. So that that gets thank you the
- 15:35Speaker 1: diamond world. So, um, I love diamonds. I just don't
- 15:42Speaker 1: know a lot about them. So anyway, that's in my
- 15:44Speaker 1: safe that I have. I'm saving for maybe one of
- 15:47Speaker 1: the kids to use in some way. I don't do
- 15:51Speaker 1: something with it later because when we celebrated our tenth
- 15:54Speaker 1: wedding anniversary, we did a vow renewal on the show.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Actually we wanted to do something kind of more our style,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and so we had of our renewal up in Beaver
- 16:05Speaker 1: Creek with um, you know, just a small group of people, um,
- 16:10Speaker 1: and that at that point in time, Neil Lane was
- 16:15Speaker 1: part of the picture, and UM, Ryan got me a
- 16:18Speaker 1: Neil Lane. Um. I don't have it on today, but
- 16:23Speaker 1: I got a Neil Lane ring. At that point in
- 16:25Speaker 1: time and this ring is my um is my two
- 16:29Speaker 1: Corey ring. That was my one of my I actually
- 16:33Speaker 1: got two bands, two wedding bands from them, and I
- 16:37Speaker 1: were this one every day. I mean that's pretty yeah
- 16:40Speaker 1: all the time. Thank you. Kenyan has something like that,
- 16:42Speaker 1: like an eternity band, and she has a couple of those,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and you know, um, you know same. I mean she
- 16:48Speaker 1: was you know, she wasn't obviously the person I gave
- 16:50Speaker 1: the ring to. I do remember I gave the ring
- 16:52Speaker 1: to Estella, which was also a Harry Winston ring, and
- 16:55Speaker 1: she ended up selling it, and I remember did oh yeah,
- 16:59Speaker 1: after this became the from what I learned later, became
- 17:03Speaker 1: the Guinea rule that they had to stay together a
- 17:05Speaker 1: certain period of time or they had to give the
- 17:06Speaker 1: ring back. That's a little really, a little gossip for
- 17:10Speaker 1: you that I heard years later, because because she she
- 17:15Speaker 1: was able to sell that thing and make some some jack,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I would say, oh my god, could you imagine I
- 17:21Speaker 1: mean that those rings. I thought I remember reading somewhere
- 17:26Speaker 1: that it was it was like or something like that.
- 17:29Speaker 1: That could be totally wrong, That could be totally wrong. Yeah,
- 17:31Speaker 1: but I thought I remembered reading that somewhere and I
- 17:34Speaker 1: was like, well, that's nice. Good for her, you know.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even get it. I get come on, UM,
- 17:40Speaker 1: just kidding, just kidding everyone. Okay, So another question that
- 17:43Speaker 1: I thought was on there that was really interesting, Um,
- 17:46Speaker 1: do you think you would still know? I know the
- 17:48Speaker 1: answers to our questions because you and I are similar
- 17:51Speaker 1: in this regard. Do you still still think you would
- 17:54Speaker 1: go on the show in today's world? Will all the
- 17:55Speaker 1: changes one in the franchise? I would imagine your answer
- 17:58Speaker 1: is probably similar to mine. I love the way my
- 18:00Speaker 1: life has worked out. Obviously the answer would be yes,
- 18:03Speaker 1: because you know, if this led me to that, But
- 18:07Speaker 1: given the landscape of the world we live in today,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like it would it would
- 18:13Speaker 1: be a lot different show than when you and I
- 18:15Speaker 1: did it, you know, and we've we've lived through the
- 18:18Speaker 1: aftermath of the show in today's world, but we haven't
- 18:21Speaker 1: been the lead of the show in today's world. And
- 18:23Speaker 1: I honestly, I wonder to myself, like, I definitely say
- 18:26Speaker 1: that yes, I would do it, um, because it would
- 18:29Speaker 1: lead me to life I have today. But I wonder
- 18:31Speaker 1: if I would really think a little more long and
- 18:33Speaker 1: hard about it. Given how it. I mean, it's totally different, right.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I mean we when we went on the show, we
- 18:40Speaker 1: didn't come off of their selling tooth whitening kids. We
- 18:43Speaker 1: didn't even you know. I mean it was one of
- 18:44Speaker 1: those things like people have turned this into an industry
- 18:47Speaker 1: almost and um, I think peripherally you and I have
- 18:51Speaker 1: been a part of that, but not not that the
- 18:53Speaker 1: way that you know some people are today. I mean,
- 18:55Speaker 1: so Ryan aside, you know, finding your love match and
- 19:00Speaker 1: having the life that you guys have had for almost
- 19:01Speaker 1: twenty years. Do you think if you were you know,
- 19:04Speaker 1: you were the Trista, the Trista Wren that was you know,
- 19:07Speaker 1: on the show twenty years ago and they came to
- 19:08Speaker 1: today and said, hey, we want you to do this.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Do you think you do it? I? Oh, I definitely
- 19:14Speaker 1: would you know? And it kind of also ties into
- 19:18Speaker 1: whether or not the question I think we got a
- 19:20Speaker 1: question about would you have your kids do the show?
- 19:24Speaker 1: And it ties in a little bit to that and
- 19:26Speaker 1: that for me, I feel like I would be a
- 19:29Speaker 1: hypocrite if I said that I wouldn't do the show
- 19:32Speaker 1: because just because of how the changes and how it's evolved,
- 19:38Speaker 1: because I ultimately met the man of my dreams, and
- 19:42Speaker 1: you know, we created a successful life. So I know
- 19:44Speaker 1: you said Ryan aside, but I really can't put that
- 19:47Speaker 1: aside because he is the whole reason I did the
- 19:50Speaker 1: show and and we have made it work. So because
- 19:56Speaker 1: love was my end game, you know, I wanted to
- 20:00Speaker 1: find love. That was my goal. That was my biggest
- 20:03Speaker 1: dream that I wanted to meet someone and fall in
- 20:06Speaker 1: love and create a successful life, um together, I I
- 20:12Speaker 1: couldn't say no to the possibility of doing again if
- 20:17Speaker 1: if the you know, if the past wasn't the past,
- 20:20Speaker 1: and I was asked now. Also, I feel like in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the same regard, I couldn't tell my kids that they
- 20:26Speaker 1: can't do the show because that's how I met their dad. Now,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I would give them lots of coaching and tell them
- 20:33Speaker 1: kind of what I know, what I know of how
- 20:38Speaker 1: producers ask questions and um you know, like making sure
- 20:43Speaker 1: that you are very conscious about what you're saying and
- 20:46Speaker 1: who you're saying it too, and always being kind and
- 20:50Speaker 1: you know, thinking about because I've always said, they cannot
- 20:55Speaker 1: put words in your mouth. What they can do is
- 20:58Speaker 1: take the words and and mix them up a little bit.
- 21:02Speaker 1: But they cannot put words in your mouth. So if
- 21:05Speaker 1: you never say something, they can't use it. So never
- 21:10Speaker 1: be sarcastic, you know, because always sarcasm can bite you
- 21:14Speaker 1: in the butt if you say it and it's taken
- 21:16Speaker 1: out of context and shown on the show for under
- 21:20Speaker 1: something else, not with your face, like they just used
- 21:22Speaker 1: your audio. So I think that there would be a
- 21:27Speaker 1: lot of coaching. I I couldn't say that I would
- 21:31Speaker 1: want them to do it. But in the same regard,
- 21:33Speaker 1: like I said, I can't, I couldn't be a hypocrite
- 21:35Speaker 1: and say no, you can't do it because I did
- 21:37Speaker 1: it exactly. No, Yeah, I mean that's the same for me.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Like I mean, I think if you know, because you
- 21:42Speaker 1: gave me a lot of that same advice. I came
- 21:43Speaker 1: to you before I did the show, and um, you know,
- 21:46Speaker 1: you gave me a lot of that same advice, which
- 21:47Speaker 1: I think is very sound advice. And over the years,
- 21:50Speaker 1: oddly enough, I've been reached out to quite a bit
- 21:53Speaker 1: over the years when someone's been yeah, but you know,
- 21:55Speaker 1: often more often than not, it's been by by women
- 21:58Speaker 1: who I know through like friends. Yeah, Like I'll know
- 22:02Speaker 1: him through friends and stuff, and they'll reach out and
- 22:03Speaker 1: they'll they'll be like one of the contestants going on
- 22:05Speaker 1: the Bachelor that season, or it'll be like a guy
- 22:08Speaker 1: who's one of the guys going on the Bachelorette that season.
- 22:11Speaker 1: And um, not as much by the leads actually as
- 22:14Speaker 1: it has been, although that's happened once or twice, but
- 22:16Speaker 1: it's mostly been by people who call on the show.
- 22:19Speaker 1: And I've often said I've given the pretty much exact
- 22:21Speaker 1: same advice that you just gave, you know, which was basically,
- 22:24Speaker 1: you know, don't don't allow yourself to get so swept
- 22:27Speaker 1: up in things that you get manipulated to be somewhat
- 22:29Speaker 1: to be shown as something that you're not. If you're kind,
- 22:32Speaker 1: If you're kind, be kind, because the camera sees that,
- 22:35Speaker 1: and it's like, you know, even if you make bad decisions,
- 22:37Speaker 1: you're still a kind person. They can't take that away
- 22:40Speaker 1: from you. And you know, at the end of the day,
- 22:42Speaker 1: Like for me especially, I'm always a jokester and making
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know, wise cracks and stuff of that nature, mostly
- 22:46Speaker 1: against myself, but you know, I was very mindful of that.
- 22:50Speaker 1: You know, during the season of The Bachelor, I didn't
- 22:52Speaker 1: want to say something like I remember this girl, Um,
- 22:55Speaker 1: Jenny Hargrove who's on my season, who I've cut in
- 22:57Speaker 1: touch with over the years also via like social media
- 23:00Speaker 1: and stuff. And she was awesome. You know, she's she's
- 23:02Speaker 1: married a couple of beautiful kids. Actually she's she's dating again.
- 23:06Speaker 1: She's she's divorced, but um she uh. She brought a
- 23:10Speaker 1: harmonica onto my season of the show, and she would
- 23:13Speaker 1: just she's from Texas. You know, she'd have a Kyle
- 23:16Speaker 1: girl had on and she'd just be like playing the
- 23:18Speaker 1: harmonica randomly. Uh. And I remember it was so different
- 23:23Speaker 1: and funny that I loved it. So we'd be like
- 23:25Speaker 1: doing something ridiculous. I'm like, Jenny, give me, give me
- 23:28Speaker 1: a two, and she's like, wow, you know, just all
- 23:30Speaker 1: of a sudden started playing. And I remember, like I
- 23:33Speaker 1: told her, I'll never forget. I said to her, like
- 23:35Speaker 1: during the season, I was like, hey, just f y.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I I love it when you do that, and I
- 23:39Speaker 1: think you're really good at it. I hope you don't
- 23:41Speaker 1: think I'm making funny. I'm just I'm enjoying it and
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's so different and it's just lighthearted, and I really
- 23:46Speaker 1: think it's you know, it's making me comfortable to have
- 23:48Speaker 1: someone to play off of and have some fun with
- 23:50Speaker 1: so I hope, and she was adorable, you know, she
- 23:51Speaker 1: was super nice about it, and you know, but I
- 23:54Speaker 1: remember thinking, oh my god, I I laid it in
- 23:56Speaker 1: better wake one night, going I need to let her
- 23:58Speaker 1: know that I'm not making fun of her, like she
- 24:00Speaker 1: needs to know where it's coming from, because I was concerned,
- 24:03Speaker 1: you know, I was really concerned about it. And um,
- 24:05Speaker 1: you know that's the stuff that people at home don't know, right,
- 24:07Speaker 1: so that could have been twisted a million ways. Thankfully,
- 24:10Speaker 1: the producers were very kind to me. Um, you know,
- 24:13Speaker 1: they definitely you know, uh didn't use me. I guess
- 24:16Speaker 1: myself in those circumstances, which was you know, and I
- 24:21Speaker 1: think they can. I think they can for sure. Um.
- 24:25Speaker 1: And that also goes into like I think there was
- 24:27Speaker 1: a question about, uh, did you give anyone advice? And
- 24:32Speaker 1: same for me. I feel like now even though you
- 24:37Speaker 1: and I, well, I mean, your relationship obviously didn't work out,
- 24:41Speaker 1: but for me, like we've been the longest relationship. And
- 24:44Speaker 1: I really think it's interesting that they have it's all
- 24:48Speaker 1: about who is the person of the times, Like go
- 24:51Speaker 1: on social media, see who's got the most following, and
- 24:54Speaker 1: they'll have that person give the people advice. UM, when
- 24:58Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, so I guess an almost twenty year
- 25:01Speaker 1: relationship doesn't doesn't doesn't weren't giving advice. So I used
- 25:10Speaker 1: to get asked, um for advice with the leads who
- 25:14Speaker 1: were coming up, you know who we're going to be taping.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But now it's like even if I get like all
- 25:20Speaker 1: usually DM everybody who goes on the show and say congratulations,
- 25:25Speaker 1: good luck. If you ever need to talk, I'm here,
- 25:29Speaker 1: and you know, some of them don't even respond. I'm like, yeah, awesome, thanks,
- 25:36Speaker 1: good luck. They're like, I'm already sorry. I have a
- 25:39Speaker 1: root Beer commercial to do on my Instagram exactly. Um No,
- 25:43Speaker 1: I think you know, I get it. I'm the old
- 25:47Speaker 1: Fogy Lisa. Last night, Um, Lisa and I were talking
- 25:50Speaker 1: about how we're dinosaurs, and we are I always use
- 25:54Speaker 1: that term. I feel like we're just in relative terms,
- 25:58Speaker 1: we are dinosaurs when it comes to with the franchise.
- 26:00Speaker 1: So it's all good. I I still am happy to
- 26:05Speaker 1: give advice, but I feel like the producers, you know, obviously,
- 26:09Speaker 1: just want the people who they feel like are going
- 26:14Speaker 1: to get the most viewers to watch, and there is
- 26:16Speaker 1: the people with the biggest following. I mean, to be
- 26:20Speaker 1: quite honest, that's I feel like how it's going to
- 26:22Speaker 1: go down all the time from until the end of
- 26:25Speaker 1: the show. Yeah, I agree. Okay, here's another good one
- 26:38Speaker 1: that I thought was interesting. Um well, it's kind of
- 26:41Speaker 1: this question. What we got from one of our listeners
- 26:43Speaker 1: actually is one question, but I want to twist at
- 26:45Speaker 1: a touch. So their question was, you know, do you
- 26:49Speaker 1: ever look at the dates they go on now and
- 26:50Speaker 1: how glamorous and amazing they are and wish that you
- 26:52Speaker 1: had that during your season, Which we can answer that too,
- 26:55Speaker 1: but I also want to ask because I have something
- 26:59Speaker 1: specific I need to talk about, which is so funny. Um,
- 27:04Speaker 1: what was the you know, the biggest train wreck date
- 27:07Speaker 1: that you had? Um? So you know it's two parts, right,
- 27:10Speaker 1: So the first part is the glamour and the glitz
- 27:12Speaker 1: and the wonderment. Um, and the second part would be
- 27:14Speaker 1: you know, did did anything goes sideways that no one
- 27:16Speaker 1: ever got to see at home? That was bananas? So
- 27:19Speaker 1: you start alright, so glamour, I mean, please, I'm a
- 27:25Speaker 1: girly girl. I love my glamor. I would love to
- 27:29Speaker 1: have had more glamorous dates, but even more than that,
- 27:34Speaker 1: I would love to have traveled. Um And I've said
- 27:37Speaker 1: this since like since my show ended and they started,
- 27:42Speaker 1: you know, upping the budget and allowing, um or not
- 27:46Speaker 1: allowing planning for international travel. I mean that was one
- 27:50Speaker 1: of the reasons that I signed up for the show
- 27:53Speaker 1: Night NIGHTTI people and like we're going to the Netherlands.
- 27:57Speaker 1: It's like, let I went to Jackson Whole, Wyoming on
- 27:59Speaker 1: an exotic date right the same so and they had
- 28:04Speaker 1: two seasons. I think one was in Paris with trying
- 28:07Speaker 1: to Stork I believe, and then wasn't one in Italy
- 28:11Speaker 1: or yes? Yes, so you know I please. I love travel.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I am obsessed with travel. I would have loved that
- 28:22Speaker 1: type of lamour and are you kidding to be in
- 28:26Speaker 1: gowns like they are now? Like I'm a girly girl.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I would have loved all of that train wrecked date.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So I know that you probably could could have answered
- 28:38Speaker 1: this for me. But what people didn't see. I don't
- 28:42Speaker 1: believe they showed this to people the back story, um I.
- 28:47Speaker 1: And and you know when you when you're the lead,
- 28:50Speaker 1: they go through like what kind of dates you would
- 28:53Speaker 1: like to go on? I'm sure they still do it. Um.
- 28:56Speaker 1: What kind of dates you'd like to go on, what
- 28:58Speaker 1: your interests are, what you're scared of, because you know
- 29:01Speaker 1: they're going to get you to do something that you're
- 29:03Speaker 1: scared of, um, things like that. So they do kind
- 29:06Speaker 1: of like a questionnaire or the producers just have a
- 29:09Speaker 1: conversation with you and and then they planned dates supportingly.
- 29:14Speaker 1: So I don't know that this ever came up, but um,
- 29:18Speaker 1: my cousin was twenty one and he was he raised
- 29:22Speaker 1: go carts and he actually got in a very bad
- 29:25Speaker 1: accident and um and passed away because of this accident,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and they planned a go karting date. And so I
- 29:35Speaker 1: get there and I was like, wait, what we're go karting?
- 29:39Speaker 1: Do people not listen to me? Like my cousin passed away.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I know I had talked about it, um, So I
- 29:46Speaker 1: don't know if they did it because they thought it
- 29:48Speaker 1: would bring drama or thought it would like connect me
- 29:51Speaker 1: to the guys. But I was like, just just getting
- 29:56Speaker 1: to the go cart place, I was I think I
- 29:59Speaker 1: had to separate myself. I think I did like welcome,
- 30:02Speaker 1: we're here, and then I just broke down and was
- 30:06Speaker 1: in tears. I remember that I was on I was
- 30:08Speaker 1: actually on that date. I remember it well. I remember
- 30:10Speaker 1: we're all like geared up in these like race car uniforms,
- 30:13Speaker 1: and you were really upset, and I remember thinking, you know,
- 30:16Speaker 1: what is going on because obviously we didn't know. And
- 30:19Speaker 1: then when we did find out, we're like, where, why
- 30:20Speaker 1: are we even here? Let's just go do something else,
- 30:23Speaker 1: you know. I remember that. But then that rallied me,
- 30:26Speaker 1: like I was like, you know what, I don't want
- 30:28Speaker 1: this to affect the date. Let's just have fun with it,
- 30:31Speaker 1: and and it helped me kind of get past that trauma.
- 30:35Speaker 1: But at the same time, I was like, really, did
- 30:39Speaker 1: you plan this on purpose? Or I have to choose
- 30:43Speaker 1: to believe that they didn't plan it on the face
- 30:45Speaker 1: And they too, you know, I mean because they loved you,
- 30:48Speaker 1: so I can't imagine that they would want to put you,
- 30:50Speaker 1: you know, in a situation like that night. And I
- 30:52Speaker 1: do remember, I mean, well, I actually I don't remember.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I should say I don't remember if they ever showed
- 30:56Speaker 1: the drama portion of that on the season. I don't
- 30:59Speaker 1: think they did. Yeah, um, so I guess technically then
- 31:02Speaker 1: I was a part of two train wreck dates because
- 31:04Speaker 1: I was on that one and then uh one from
- 31:07Speaker 1: my own season, but I'll answered the first part. So yeah,
- 31:09Speaker 1: you know, I would have loved I got to go
- 31:11Speaker 1: to Belize on one of my exotic dates Jackson hold
- 31:14Speaker 1: Wyoming and then uh, Kelly, Joe and I went to
- 31:17Speaker 1: the top of a glacier in Alaska, so those were
- 31:19Speaker 1: pretty cool. Believes was with Estella. That was amazing, and
- 31:23Speaker 1: then Jackson hold Wyoming was with Mary and that was
- 31:26Speaker 1: really beautiful too, even though you know, they were all
- 31:28Speaker 1: kind of really domestic except the Belize thing. That was
- 31:29Speaker 1: really kind of fun. Um. But but yeah, I would
- 31:33Speaker 1: have loved to, you know, especially when we were on
- 31:36Speaker 1: trist this season. It would have been so great for
- 31:38Speaker 1: all fifteen of us to get to take off and
- 31:40Speaker 1: you know, head to you know, Thailand or something like
- 31:43Speaker 1: they do now. It's that have been amazing. But train
- 31:45Speaker 1: Wreck dates, I'll never forget this because it started off, Um,
- 31:49Speaker 1: it was with Meredith who later became the Bachelorette. It
- 31:53Speaker 1: started off with me finding out that her grandma had
- 31:54Speaker 1: passed away, and um, and I was super close with
- 31:58Speaker 1: my grandparents and so I was just like Meridith passed
- 32:02Speaker 1: away during filming. During filming. Yeah, like they came the
- 32:05Speaker 1: priests come out to the car. I'm like getting ready
- 32:07Speaker 1: to come into the date and they're like, hey, Bob,
- 32:08Speaker 1: f y I Meredith's grandmother passed away. I'm like, oh
- 32:11Speaker 1: my god, so she's going home right, and they're like, no,
- 32:14Speaker 1: she she has decided to stay. And I'm like what.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I'm like, guys, I'll be honest, if my grandmother passed away,
- 32:19Speaker 1: I would leave the show right now. And I'm like
- 32:22Speaker 1: she should do the same, you know. So I remember
- 32:24Speaker 1: she and I had a moment where we talked, and
- 32:26Speaker 1: I don't even know. I don't recall because, like I said,
- 32:29Speaker 1: I mean, I was I was never able to really
- 32:30Speaker 1: watch the season where I was able to like sit
- 32:32Speaker 1: down and really absorb. But I can't remember if that
- 32:34Speaker 1: was covered too much in the episode. But on that date,
- 32:37Speaker 1: I remember saying to her, like, listen, you don't have
- 32:39Speaker 1: to go through with this, because she was the person
- 32:40Speaker 1: who was going to have the one on one date
- 32:42Speaker 1: for that episode. So I'm like, we don't have to
- 32:45Speaker 1: go through with this. We can just go sit in
- 32:47Speaker 1: a restaurant and talk if you want. You know, I'm
- 32:49Speaker 1: so sorry, you know, you're sure you don't want to
- 32:50Speaker 1: go home? Like I was really trying to encourage her, frankly,
- 32:52Speaker 1: to to go home and see her family. But um,
- 32:56Speaker 1: we ended up doing that when we did the hometown dates,
- 32:58Speaker 1: which was like two episodes later. Oh. But anyway, we
- 33:02Speaker 1: go on this date, and I mean, so I'm trying
- 33:06Speaker 1: to be sensitive to the circumstances, you know, and we
- 33:10Speaker 1: take this car, this limo, this stretch limo down to
- 33:13Speaker 1: Seal Beach in California there and yet we get to
- 33:17Speaker 1: Seal Beach and I'm like, oh, we're at the beach,
- 33:19Speaker 1: you know. And and I'm thinking of the beach state
- 33:21Speaker 1: that we were on and I'm like, oh, I bet
- 33:22Speaker 1: you they're gonna have something buried in the sand, you know.
- 33:24Speaker 1: So I'm like already kind of thinking about it. They
- 33:26Speaker 1: haven't really prepped me yet, because I think this kind
- 33:28Speaker 1: of was I don't know exactly where this episode was going,
- 33:31Speaker 1: but it was kind of at this point almost felt
- 33:33Speaker 1: like we were spitballing things. So we go out to
- 33:36Speaker 1: the beach and they have a couple of horses waiting
- 33:38Speaker 1: for us. So we're supposed to kick our shoes off,
- 33:41Speaker 1: frolic around the beach with our jeans and and and such,
- 33:45Speaker 1: and it's hot, it's yeah, I'm frolic go. Why don't
- 33:49Speaker 1: you guys go frolic and covert and then mount this
- 33:53Speaker 1: steed and ride down the beach. I'm like, okay, So
- 33:56Speaker 1: I've got on jeans and uh, you know, like a
- 33:59Speaker 1: like a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up,
- 34:01Speaker 1: and I can't remember what she's got on something similar,
- 34:04Speaker 1: and you know, we're in Clearly they knew we were
- 34:06Speaker 1: gonna be horseback riding. So we both get on the
- 34:08Speaker 1: horses and we're like, you know, get up and down
- 34:10Speaker 1: the beach. And I'm not I'm not a particularly good
- 34:12Speaker 1: horse rider. I haven't got a ton of experience cowboying
- 34:16Speaker 1: since watching yellow Stone. I think now i'd be badass
- 34:18Speaker 1: on the horse. But then so anyway, I'm riding down
- 34:22Speaker 1: the beach and and I'm trying to make conversation, you know,
- 34:25Speaker 1: because obviously quiet is not good television. They would always
- 34:29Speaker 1: tell us, right, So I'm like, I'm like talk and
- 34:32Speaker 1: she's on the horse, and she's like, I'm like, I go,
- 34:38Speaker 1: I go, hey, is everything okay? Because she's like, you know,
- 34:43Speaker 1: I mean, she you could tell she's having an allergy
- 34:45Speaker 1: reaction and she's like, I don't know, maybe I'm allergic
- 34:48Speaker 1: to horses, you know. And let me just let me
- 34:51Speaker 1: just preface this. I'm not sure that this is how
- 34:55Speaker 1: this story goes, but this is how I remember it.
- 34:56Speaker 1: It's twenty years so cut me some slack up. I'm wrong.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But anyway, I'm like, so, I'm like galloping and she's
- 35:02Speaker 1: like and I go, oh my gosh, you know what
- 35:04Speaker 1: I said, Hey, you are right, And she's like, I'm
- 35:07Speaker 1: allergic to horses. And I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Oh heck, you know, shucks, she knew before. No, She's like,
- 35:14Speaker 1: I think I might be. The way I remember is
- 35:16Speaker 1: I think I might pay. But obviously this wasn't on
- 35:20Speaker 1: the on the questionnaire that they had given her, you know,
- 35:22Speaker 1: pre ship. So we ride over to this, yeah, we
- 35:25Speaker 1: keep we stay on the horses. We ride down to
- 35:27Speaker 1: where this, and they wanted us to go on the
- 35:28Speaker 1: water and such, you know, like the horses do. So
- 35:31Speaker 1: we get down to like this glamorous sand castle that
- 35:34Speaker 1: I had prepped ahead of time that I constructed out
- 35:38Speaker 1: of yes, because I just had some spare time on
- 35:40Speaker 1: seashells and sand and other things. And uh so we
- 35:43Speaker 1: go up and we're hanging out at the sand the
- 35:46Speaker 1: sand shack that I had prepared for us, and there's
- 35:50Speaker 1: a smoldering you know, the big leaves over the hole.
- 35:53Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, I I prepared us a snack
- 35:55Speaker 1: and I pull out a basket of shellfish as we
- 35:59Speaker 1: would do. Oh she's allergic shellfish. I literally, I mean,
- 36:07Speaker 1: I literally go seriously, Like any anybody asked this poor lady.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I'm like, she's having basically anaphylectic shock on our date.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Her grandmother just pas, for God's sake, people, Oh no,
- 36:21Speaker 1: start cars, everybody. That is horrible. That's how I remember it. Anyway,
- 36:30Speaker 1: maybe that's not exactly, but I will tell you that
- 36:33Speaker 1: as memory sirs, I remember thinking to myself like, oh
- 36:35Speaker 1: my god, this has got to be Like I feel
- 36:38Speaker 1: so bad right now that you know I granted, I
- 36:41Speaker 1: mean granted, you know, you do it, you mind off
- 36:43Speaker 1: of things. But I'm like, so, yeah, I took her
- 36:46Speaker 1: mind off of things because she was too itchy and
- 36:49Speaker 1: she's been scratching, been a drill, you know, just like
- 36:52Speaker 1: my allergic reaction. When we were in Uh I told
- 36:54Speaker 1: you that, I know. But when we were in Alaska
- 36:56Speaker 1: and I you know, had some vodka and Alaska King
- 36:59Speaker 1: crab legs and I wake up to getting like Benador
- 37:01Speaker 1: elotion rubbed all over me because I had an allergic
- 37:02Speaker 1: reaction similar you know, similar things. So I'm sure something
- 37:07Speaker 1: that nowadays, but back then, yeah, pretty crazy. I want
- 37:10Speaker 1: to go back and watch that episode and see what
- 37:13Speaker 1: they actually aired, you know, see. And I want to
- 37:17Speaker 1: go back to the Gookard episode and see what they
- 37:19Speaker 1: actually aired, what people saw compared to what actually happened.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, behind the scenes, it's just priceless. I mean,
- 37:26Speaker 1: it's that is that is Oh no, I feel so
- 37:32Speaker 1: bad for her, But that's funny. That's funny. Thanks for Sharon.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I have to say thank you to everybody who's sent
- 37:40Speaker 1: in questions. I think continue to do that because who
- 37:44Speaker 1: knows if one of your questions is something that will
- 37:47Speaker 1: guide us into an entire episode, you know, down the road.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I really would still like to bring Oh I heard
- 37:55Speaker 1: from I have to I know we're gonna we're wrapping up,
- 37:57Speaker 1: but um, I was posting on my stories, you know,
- 38:00Speaker 1: about the previous episodes on my way to l A.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, now I have some time to
- 38:05Speaker 1: sit down and actually post on my stories about the
- 38:08Speaker 1: about the episodes and share with people, and Ashley Eden's
- 38:13Speaker 1: wrote me back. She wrote the A d M and
- 38:17Speaker 1: she was like I was there. I'm like, yes, you were,
- 38:20Speaker 1: And actually you were in one of the episodes, either
- 38:23Speaker 1: my first episode or your first episode. I couldn't remember which,
- 38:27Speaker 1: but I remember seeing her in one of them, and
- 38:29Speaker 1: I was like, would you want to come on and
- 38:31Speaker 1: chat with us? Because I just I love what she's
- 38:34Speaker 1: been able to do. She became the ep or exect
- 38:37Speaker 1: producer for Dancing with the Stars and I believe she
- 38:40Speaker 1: works with Derek and Julian Huff. But um, but I
- 38:44Speaker 1: love you know, I would love to talk to some
- 38:46Speaker 1: producers and see how they started and where they ended up,
- 38:50Speaker 1: like where where their journeys took them. Um, in kind
- 38:54Speaker 1: of TV land. If you will into l A, you know,
- 38:58Speaker 1: tell her, tell her we'll we'll bring on uh, We'll
- 39:00Speaker 1: bring on the O G Trifecta, grab her Carbone Carbone
- 39:04Speaker 1: and Sally Anne and have a I literally asked her
- 39:07Speaker 1: if she still talks to Sally Anne, and she said, um,
- 39:11Speaker 1: I mean that's another great story too. We'll save it
- 39:14Speaker 1: because we need to we need to talk to the producers,
- 39:16Speaker 1: so that's right, Well do something like that. We need content,
- 39:19Speaker 1: so send us, send us content ideas because we'd love
- 39:22Speaker 1: to hear from you well as always great talking with you, Trista,
- 39:25Speaker 1: and hopefully everybody enjoyed listening to our fun little banter.
- 39:29Speaker 1: It's so easy to come on the show and just
- 39:30Speaker 1: talk to you. I love it, so fun, so easy,
- 39:33Speaker 1: so fun. I'm very grateful. Thank you to everybody involved.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Thank you Ashley and Ben. And we'll see you next week,
- 39:41Speaker 1: or maybe you won't see us, well, we'll chat at
- 39:45Speaker 1: you next year next time. Have a great week, everybody,
