Lara Trump: The Persecution of the President & the Battle of Good & Evil · Man in America Podcast

• 1:33
Seth Holehouse: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Man in America. I'm your host, Seth Hohaus. So as we enter into the election year next year, all eyes are on the presidency. And the question is well, there's a lot of questions, but one of the big questions is, will Donald Trump actually be able to potentially bypass or somehow overcome all of the shenanigans and chaos we know will be created to make sure that he does not get into the White House in 2024 or 2025. And there's a lot more questions surrounding that.
• 2:09
But also, how's he holding up? I mean, this guy is under constant, constant attacks, like a million attacks every day that one of these attacks would take out your average person. And so joining us today actually for, I think, a more lighthearted conversation about what's going on and the nature of this battle and the battle of good and evil is his daughter-in-law, Laura Trump, who's married to Eric Trump. And so she's someone who's been very outspoken was very involved in his campaign. And we're just going to have a really just sober, you know, kind of simple conversation about where things are at right now.
• 2:46
What's 2024 going to look like? How's President Donald Trump holding up amidst all this and what her thoughts are heading into 2024. So, folks, you're gonna enjoy this interview with Laura Trump. Laura, it is such a honor to have you coming on the show. Thank you so much for being here.
• 3:08
Speaker 2: Oh, well, it's the honor's mine. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to chat.
• 3:12
Seth Holehouse: Yeah. Perfect. And that's exactly what I want to do. I want to chat. I'm not a Sean Hannity with my pointed questions about the indictments.
• 3:20
I just I like getting into these real human elements of what's what's happening. And so starting off, just you know, one of the big questions I have is, obviously you're part of the Trump family I've interviewed Eric before. Maybe I've maybe I've shaken your hand backstage at reawakening but there's a lot of people coming through so. But the big question I have is, you know, being in the family, Trump family, how has your life changed since 2016? Going from probably a dis beautiful kind of jet setting wonderful life under the you know, as part of the Trump family, then really becoming political persecution target number one in not just in America, but really the whole world, it seems, against the Trump family.
• 4:10
  So what's that been like?
• 4:13
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Well, I mean, I would have to go back to pre twenty sixteen to to tell you the truth. And for me, as a person coming into this family and as a person coming into the family who really, I mean, by all accounts, had no business being part of this family. Seth, I grew up in North Carolina. I grew up in a middle class family.
• 4:34
I assume I grew up probably like most Americans did. And so in my wildest dreams, I never even thought about having, you know, ties to a family with a very well known last name. And then I met my husband, Eric, and, we dated for, like, five and a half years before we got engaged, six and a half by the time we got married, and we got married in November of twenty fourteen. And if you recall, June of twenty fifteen is when my father-in-law famously came down the golden escalator in Trump Tower, announced he was running for president, And that is when things significantly changed. So for me, just personally, I mean, it's been quite a whirlwind from the day I decided to move to New York City to the day my father-in-law announced he was running for president.
• 5:26
That in and of itself would have been kinda crazy for most people. But then you're right. Then on the other side of that announcement, things got really crazy. And for all of us in our family, it was interesting because if you think back, the Trump name was never associated with anything political. None of us had done anything in politics, even my father-in-law who then announced he was running for the highest office in the land.
• 5:50
And so I think we kind of got into this and were very naive. We were certainly very green, but I don't think we understood what was about to happen to us. Now my father-in-law, I think, knew full well what was about to happen because there there's a sort of famous story, and it's true that he sat down with our entire family a couple of days before he announced he was running for president. And he said, I need you guys to understand what we're about to do because this is not just going to involve me. It will involve our whole family, and people are gonna come after us.
• 6:25
You know, we're gonna find out who our real friends are. And we were all like, oh, this sounds great. You're gonna run for president. But, I mean, we really had no idea what would happen. I think he knew that in order to do the job that was necessary to really make this country great, to really expose so much of what was going on in the swamp in Washington, DC, he really was going to be targeted.
• 6:51
And, obviously, we saw that happen after he announced he was running for president. We saw that happen throughout the course of the campaign in 2016. But fast forward, Seth, to right now at this moment in American history, and we have never seen someone targeted in the way that Donald Trump has been. We have never seen a department of justice weaponized against a top political opponent on the other side of the aisle. We've never seen these sorts of things happen in this country.
• 7:20
And so I think for all of us in our family, every time we kind of, like, settle into this is our new reality, this is how things will be, It gets even crazier, and the stakes are higher, and, you know, everything gets really, really much bigger than any of us anticipated. And so here we are now in 2023, little over a year out from a presidential election that I think not just for us and our family, but everyone across this country really feels is so monumental, and and there's so much at stake. I really don't think we've ever had a more consequential presidential election than this one will have in 2024.
• 7:58
Seth Holehouse: And how is your father-in-law holding up? I mean, he's I I look at what he has to go through. And I think gosh, like if I could get through maybe a thousandth of that, I'd feel like I was a hero yet. He just keeps going and now he's potentially facing jail time and everything they're throwing at him, let alone I'm not sure even what kind of threats and who knows what's happening in ways that we don't even see. But what's his overall attitude?
• 8:29
Is it is it beating him down? Or is it fueling him?
• 8:33
Speaker 2: I mean, he is the most incredible human being I feel I've ever met. There is such positivity around him and and that he really exudes. You know? It's funny because he calls and and he'll talk to me and Eric rather often. And oftentimes it's in the wake of some major announcement, one of these indictments, something really big like that that for most people, you're right, Seth, would just totally ruin them.
• 9:00
I mean, it would take so many people down, and he remains so positive. And I I really don't know that any other person could withstand what he has. I mean, gosh, you look at what he did when he was president of The United States. Now we know so much more. I think hindsight is, of course, 2020.
• 9:19
And you look at all the attacks that that he had against him. Look at the impeachment over the phone call to Ukraine. And you think about, well, why was it that they had to impeach Donald Trump for that? Oh, because he was about to expose so much that was actually going on, and it would have impacted a lot of people, not just the Biden family. There's been a whole grift going on in Washington DC for decades that a lot of these swampy people are a part of.
• 9:46
But he got so much accomplished despite all of that while he was president. And then you you look at all these things now. You're right. They're trying to throw my father-in-law in jail. They are trying to imprison him.
• 9:58
They wanna lock him up, and they wanna throw away the key because they want Donald Trump to go away. They want that problem because he is a big problem for a lot of these people in DC. They want that to end, and and they really are pulling out all the stops. But I'm impressed by him every day. I'm impressed by his resolve, by his determination.
• 10:18
I do think kinda like you just said, it fuels him in some crazy way, because I do think he feels the weight of what is going on. And and and he knows it's bigger than just him. He knows it is targeted at him, but it's about this whole country. It's about the future of this country. It's about what kind of country he's gonna leave for his grandchildren and generations to come.
• 10:41
And I think he understands that if you have a weak person right now, someone that'll fold and and, you know, kinda crumble at this sort of situation, you don't have somebody who's gonna stand up and fight and say, no. We need to find out what happened in the twenty twenty election. No. I did nothing wrong, and I'm not gonna back down. I'm not gonna bow out of this, you know, race to be become president again.
• 11:03
I think he knows that if if you have someone who cannot stand up right now, honestly, the future of this country is is very, very unknown. We don't know what kind of implications lie ahead if we don't have a fighter right now. So I think he understands the gravity of everything, and I think he knows that he's fighting for every single American.
• 11:24
Seth Holehouse: Got a quick message for you. So, folks, thank goodness inflation is going down. Thank you, Biden. But wait, if inflation is going down, then why are food prices going up, energy prices going up, and gas prices going up? Well, because they're lying to us.
• 11:40
Imagine that. You see right now, the real rate of inflation is closer to 25%, not the 5% the White House wants you to believe. You can see this with your own eyes and your own wallet. What this means is that if you had a hundred thousand dollars in your savings account just one year ago, today, it's only worth about $75,000 in terms of your actual buying power. Your money is losing value by the day.
• 12:07
If you went back to 1920 and you had a $20 bill or a one ounce gold coin, you could walk into a men's clothing store and buy an entire suit, jacket, shoes, pants, belt, everything. But think about it, what would a $20 bill buy you today? Maybe some socks, but an ounce of gold will still buy you that same suit. And this is why I believe that now more than ever, it's a good time to consider transferring at least a portion of your wealth into physical gold and silver. Real world assets have stood the test of time.
• 12:42
And for this, I'm confident in recommending Doctor. Kirk Elliott. So Kirk has two PhDs and is an incredible Christian patriot who's dedicated to helping you break free from the trap of inflation. You can buy gold and silver directly even in small amounts or you can transfer your IRA into physical gold and silver with zero taxes or penalties. So Kirk is who I use, he's who my family and my friends use, and honestly, he's someone I trust completely.
• 13:07
And when it comes to your wealth, you need someone that you can trust. So to learn more, open up a new tab right now and go to goldwithseth.com or call (720) 605-3900 to speak to a real person right now. Kirk LA's team will answer all of your questions and take care of you every step of the way. And if you look at just the overall scale of this, I mean, back in 2016, it seemed it was easier to look at and think it's a political issue. Okay, he's running on the Republican ticket.
• 13:41
It's, you know, got to get the, you know, conservatives back in the White House and start making these changes. You realize over the next couple of years, it's like, wait, well, the GOP hates him just as much as the left does. It seems like you have this uni party system that's really this swamp creature. And then you have Trump, you know, he's this this isolated person that is really fighting and his support comes from, you know, we the people from the people on the ground, not from the establishment. But then as you get deeper and deeper into it, it's almost as if he's up against something much bigger even than the other side of the political party or even the uni party, and that it goes quite deep.
• 14:24
And so, I mean, do you ever have the thought that there's something bigger happening and it may be like what this is is a batter battle of good versus evil playing out?
• 14:37
Speaker 2: Oh, without a doubt. I I say that all the time. I mean, I don't think you can look around this country, Seth, and and think anything different at this point. There is so much that has happened in the course of a a very short number of years in this country. And and truly, it starts to become unrecognizable to people and and in a very frightening way.
• 14:58
And so I think a lot of people feel it. This is on a spiritual level in so many respects at this point. And I think it's it's really interesting because I always said that one of the things that would happen to us out on the campaign trail in 2016 is it didn't matter where we were, whether we were in Florida or Wisconsin or Iowa or Ohio, we were all across this country, and it happened to me, my husband, everyone in our family because we were all out campaigning for my father-in-law. The number of times people came up to me and they said, we are praying for you. We are praying for your family.
• 15:35
We are praying for Donald Trump. I really believe that God had a hand in the twenty sixteen election, and you'll never convince me otherwise. And and it's kinda crazy because then you fast forward to 2020, and, obviously, no one wanted Donald Trump to remain in the White House more than those of us in our family. Man, did we pour everything we had into that campaign, into that election. I actually was part of the campaign team.
• 16:01
Officially, I was a senior adviser to his campaign in 2020. And, obviously, that was a very tough loss for us to sustain as a family, as a country, all of his supporters. I know all of us out there felt that, but I actually feel like sometimes God has bigger plans. And I I tell my father-in-law this all the time. I really feel like that had to happen in that way, that election, to expose so much.
• 16:28
Because now look at all of the things we are uncovering. There are so many people who I think now are waking up and they are realizing what's been going on in this country. And and I truly I'll never I'll never think anything differently than that God had a plan that you know, in 2016, his plan was for Donald Trump to to blow the doors off of things, to kind of come out of nowhere and to become the president. Twenty twenty, as much as as we hated to see it, maybe it needed to happen so that people started to realize what was truly at stake right now. And here in 2023, as we head towards this election next year, I think you're right.
• 17:06
I think people are starting to feel that it is good versus evil, that things are on another level in this country and in our world right now. And, in in some crazy way, I do believe that this is God's plan and that he has pegged Donald Trump as the person who who really is is carrying forth a lot of his will. And and I believe that he will be the forty seventh president of The United States.
• 17:31
Seth Holehouse: I'm I'm glad to see that kind of optimism. And it's interesting that you mentioned though that almost as if 2020, not like it had to happen, but I you know, way I look at things like, you know, I've had a lot of suffering in life as had every human being. I've had close family pass away, you know, various things. And what's oftentimes given me calm is realizing that well, nothing is outside of God's control. And it's, you know, it may not be like, I think I know what the best is until everything changes and I realize, you know, in hindsight, wow, like, you know, God had a much better plan than I thought.
• 18:07
And, you know, looking back at COVID is I think another perfect example. I think that COVID was, you know, the pandemic was something that so many Americans had become so comfortable. And it was as if life would never change in America. We live in this bubble and, and you know, no one's ever going to attack America. But I feel like I do a lot of touring and speaking and a lot of folks I speak to when I say what was your moment that really snapped you out?
• 18:34
What was your moment that woke you up? And for so many people, was COVID. And so looking back at it, much as it was a terrible thing to go through the lockdowns and just everything that happened, I feel like that there's been something really amazing that's come out of it, though, because it's taken so many people, and it's just it's shaking them from their slumber, and they're now waking up and they're seeing with new eyes, and they're saying, like, I don't you know, even if you could, it's like, I don't want to go back to life 10 ago. Right? Like, I want to build something new.
• 19:07
Because even though it seemed like life was beautiful and perfect ten years ago, it was still the same corrupt structures that were controlling almost every aspect of our lives. We just didn't see it as much until that COVID hit. So now I think a lot of people are now just looking to the future and saying, look, I wanna build what's new.
• 19:27
Speaker 2: Yeah. I think you're right. And once you see it, you can't unsee it. I I say this all the time as it relates to my father-in-law, but this is also, you know, a great example. And I think for for a lot of people out there, you know, maybe maybe they got to spend more time with their families and maybe it kind of reconnected them in that way.
• 19:45
Maybe it woke them up spiritually on on a different level. But for for some people, maybe it was just seeing with the online learning what their kid was learning at school. Maybe it was realizing that what we thought was happening in our public schools is is not the best thing for our kids. And I think that a lot of people, you know, came out of COVID, you're right, with a new set of eyes for for maybe several different reasons. But as it relates to everything, I really do feel like, and especially in the case of of my father-in-law, especially in the case of the corruption within, you know, our system of government right now, once you see it, you really can't unsee it.
• 20:28
And people can say a lot of things about Donald Trump, but one thing I'll say, people have to give him credit for. They have to give him credit for reinvigorating people to get involved in politics, to pay attention to politics because, man, once he came in, things were very different. Everybody all of a sudden was a political expert. Everyone's involved in politics. But you also have to give him credit for exposing a lot of what was going on out there, whether it was with the mainstream media or whether it was within our federal government and and our system of government.
• 20:59
There was so much, and there, I think, still is so much that has come out and will come out. And once people see it, they don't unsee it. Once you're awake, you can't go back to sleep. And so that is the beauty of of so much of this, I think.
• 21:13
Seth Holehouse: And and so looking ahead to 2024, and I'll I'll probably end up putting this up on YouTube so I'll be a little more crafty with my language. You know, there were
• 21:21
Speaker 2: lot Don't say anything wrong. They'll take it down. Right? Yeah. I know.
• 21:25
Seth Holehouse: There were, okay, my perspective is that there were a lot of shenanigans that happened in 2016. Yet, but I really believe it was by the grace of God that that Trump got in and it changed the course of history. I think if we had Hillary and this we're into Hillary's second term right now. Mean, who knows we'd be we could be in gulags for all I know. I mean, I think it could have gotten really, really, really bad.
• 21:49
But he got in 2016 against all odds. 2020. I mean, I we know what happened in 2020. We know what kind of stuff was pulled, but still however it happened, think that was still happened as it did and we have to accept that from the perspective that not saying we don't we don't try to fight to correct it, but we can't go back in time and change it and put him back in, you know, in the office in January of, you know, that year. But looking ahead to 2024, and looking at the all the different ways that the, especially the left has fortified the elections and all the the kind of concerning things that I think they're going to be doing, you know, 2,000 mules type stuff, etc.
• 22:31
To make sure that he doesn't get in again, not to mention the fact that trying everything possible to not even let him get on the ticket, right? You know, they're hoping he can be in jail by then. Do you think that do you think that it's, it's the right time again, like, know, almost from a divine perspective that it's it's time for him to come back in and and really help take this country to where it needs to go. Because I think that there's a lot of Americans have seen what's happened. Even people that voted for Joe Biden, I think a lot of them are now looking at this country saying, oh my gosh, I was duped.
• 23:08
Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, you were definitely duped. And by the way, you talk about 2016 and like, oh, yeah. We think there were shenanigans. We know there were shenanigans.
• 23:16
We know that everything that the Clinton campaign was accusing Donald Trump and our campaign of doing colluding with Russia, they were actually doing. We know that they were aided by the FBI in that pursuit. It is insane what has happened in the course of two presidential election cycles in this country, and that's what we know about, Seth. I mean, that is the really scary part. But I do I really feel like, you know, you're right.
• 23:43
I have people come up to me all the time. My husband, Eric, has people come up to him all the time, and they all say, you know, how much they appreciate what his dad is going through right now that they know that he's he's fighting for this country. And I think you're right. I think a lot of people who maybe were duped and will give them, you know, the nice phrase that they were duped by Joe Biden, old old Scranton Joe, you know, the old Uncle Joe type. He's gonna bring decency back to the White House really in the form of cocaine in the White House, in the form of people topless on the White House lawn, all all of this stuff that has happened under his watch as it relates to our country, that has taken America backwards, that we are in such a bad position on the world stage and things are so much harder for people in this country, I think people are starting to get it now.
• 24:32
And so look. You're right. There there will probably always be some sort of shenanigans, so to speak, whenever you're talking about a presidential election. There's a lot that happens. But I think as a party, the Republican Party, we have to get smarter this campaign.
• 24:49
We have to get smarter this election cycle. We have to operate differently than we have in the past because I think a lot of folks on the right have always been like, oh, you know what? We wanna go vote on election day. Great. I love that.
• 25:02
But why not go vote the day early voting starts? Your vote will count, and then you work every day from then on to get every single person you know to go vote as well. Anywhere that ballot harvesting is legal, we better be ballot harvesting. We better do it 10 times better than they're doing it on the other side. Otherwise, we're wasting our time.
• 25:23
And so I do know that there are so many people out there working on all of these different, you know, parts of an election that we can utilize as a party to make sure that it doesn't matter how much cheating or how much funny business there might be, whatever you wanna call it, and we better be careful if we're putting this up on YouTube, but it doesn't matter how much goes on out there. There will be so many people who legally and lawfully vote for Donald Trump and cast their one vote that we all get as legal citizens of this country that I do believe Donald Trump will be victorious.
• 26:01
Seth Holehouse: It's good to hear that coming from you. That that's your perspective. So, Laura, where can people follow what you're doing? I know you've got a show on Rumble. Right?
• 26:10
So where can people be going to find out what you're working on?
• 26:15
Speaker 2: So I have a show, a podcast. It's called The Right View. I have a show three days a week. You can go to therightview.com, or you can look me up on Rumble. Just Laura Trump.
• 26:25
If you type that in, it'll come up. All of my social media, is Laura Lee Trump, l a r a l e a Trump. And, yeah, I mean, if you follow me, we talk politics. There's a lot with my kids, my dogs, my husband, my father-in-law. So you get a whole variety when it comes to me.
• 26:43
Some working out I throw in there too. People people, for some reason, like all my workout videos, so I keep posting them. But yeah, we have a good time. We like to keep people informed. So we'd love to have some of your audience join us as well.
• 26:59
Seth Holehouse: Great. And any final words in closing?
• 27:03
Speaker 2: Well, I would just say, you know, this is it's a really interesting time in our country, and it is never lost on anyone in our family that we really, I do believe, have been put in a very unique position for a reason. You know, you'll not find them much tougher than those of us in our family. People are always like, how do you take it? How do you take the attacks? And honestly, it's an honor to do it because we know we are fighting on the right side of history.
• 27:32
We know that at the end of the day, the truth comes out that the best disinfectant is sunlight. And when light is shown, you know, we will see the truth and the reality of things. So I just wanna say thank you to all the people who continue to support my father-in-law, to people who believe in this country. We do truly live in the greatest country, you know, God ever created, and we're so blessed to be here in The United States Of America. And I I feel it's an honor every day to fight alongside my father-in-law because I believe that what he's doing is is right, and I believe that, he'll be vindicated.
• 28:09
And I believe he'll be the forty seventh president of The United States. So I just wanna say thank you to everybody for the support. And thank you, Seth, for having me on.
• 28:17
Seth Holehouse: Of course. It's it's been my pleasure. So thank you again, and I look forward to next time. And just, you know, thank you for what you're doing. And if you can whisper some words into your father in law's ears and say that, you know, he has a lot of support, which he knows, but he has a lot of support out there.
• 28:32
Speaker 2: Thank you. I will. I'll certainly I never get tired of telling him that. So we'll do. Thank you very much.
• 28:38
Seth Holehouse: Alright. Thank you. Alright, folks. I've got a quick message for you. I have one simple question.
• 28:45
If today you could no longer go purchase more food for your family, with the food stores that you have in your home, how long would you be able to feed your family? Would it be a week, three weeks, a month, two months, a year? This is a really important question folks that we have to be very realistic about because the elites are proactively trying to put us into a state of food crisis and a state of famine. I'm sure you've seen all of the different food processing plants and farms that are blowing up. You've got cattle dying by the tens of thousands.
• 29:18
They're proactively trying to collapse our food system because they know if they can control our food, they can control us. And so one of the best ways to be outside of their control is to be able to have our own stores of food and to be able to produce our own food. So there's really two things I would recommend. One is having heirloom seeds that you can grow your own food with, making sure that they're non GMO heirloom seeds that that way you can harvest your seeds this year, use them next year. You can use these seeds for generations.
• 29:47
Literally, it's how it will work. The other thing though is this high quality storable food. This is food that's sitting somewhere, it's hidden in your basement, buried in your backyard, whatever it ever it is. So that way if there is a crisis, if there is an emergency, you might have three months set aside to get through that time period. And so for this, I would highly recommend a company called Heaven's Harvest.
• 30:09
This is an amazing Christian owned patriot company, and what they're doing is they're making high quality storable food. Again, lot of the food companies, they say these food buckets, they're all about maximizing calories per dollar. They're filling the buckets with a bunch of filler and junk like sweet beverages, etc. But Heaven's Harvest, they focus on very high quality food that will last up to twenty five years on the shelf. They also sell heirloom seeds.
• 30:35
You can buy all of your seed, you can buy all of your restorable food. And look folks, personally, I would recommend having at least three months per person in your household, if not six months or even a year. Again, depends on your budget, but I'll definitely make sure you have some seeds because that seed, those seeds could be worth their weight in gold, if not more in the future.
