- 0:01I'll stop in 523 actually. 520. 3523 So the overall idea at the
- 0:11end of the book is for a person to realize that I, although I
- 0:15gave you massage and gave us all the different steps of life of
- 0:20how a person could develop. He wants a person to realize
- 0:23that I didn't give you everything.
- 0:25I only gave you, in a certain sense, a little bit of which
- 0:27one. I gave you the beginning and our
- 0:29our own minds. And what time does it happen?
- 0:31You start to fill up your own opinions.
- 0:33You start to develop your own approaches to life.
- 0:36And those approaches and opinions, if they're built on a
- 0:38good foundation, literally are a larger mosaddis effort.
- 0:41You are writing your own mosaddis effort based on your
- 0:44life experience, based on what you've learned.
- 0:47You combine the two and you build a certain picture.
- 0:50You know how to respond to a fight.
- 0:52You know how to how to think about a certain situation.
- 0:55You know when you're being tested by your side.
- 0:57I have an understanding of yourself and on the situation,
- 0:59and that's your own moose eyes. And the person is supposed to
- 1:03constantly be developing more moose ideas and more moose ideas
- 1:07for themselves. I'm to be honest with you, if
- 1:10you develop these ideas well enough, you for sure can give
- 1:13them over to other people the same way you talk to your
- 1:15grandchildren and give them some advice.
- 1:17That's what that is. It's a combination of your, to
- 1:19our knowledge, combined with your experiences and therefore
- 1:23your perspective on life. That's what he tells you.
- 1:25And every person's got their own, right?
- 1:28So on 5/23, he writes a wise person listens and he takes more
- 1:36when I want a smart person develops different ideas and as
- 1:42a person wants to become better. So you know to us and helps me
- 1:48peeped out when Hashem gives a person more wisdom Ayashirish
- 1:52ish to shrink each person and the way with neighbor on the
- 1:57service of Hashem. In other words, Hashem helps us
- 2:00develop and obtain more tools to our development is that for a
- 2:05shoot. It's obvious he called Adam.
- 2:09Every person, the Theo Minuto Chebiador, according to his own
- 2:13life situations via SSI, was sick.
- 2:19Every person, according to his profession, has to have his own
- 2:23way and his own approach to developing himself.
- 2:26If you're in one business, you have one sort of challenge.
- 2:29If you're in another business, you have another sort of
- 2:31challenge, Right. If you're a rabbi, you have a
- 2:33whole set of challenges. If you're a layman, yeah, go say
- 2:36child. Even within each line of work,
- 2:38yeah, be set of challenges. Key data has a dude how to
- 2:41really meet the way of a person to develop.
- 2:44If a guy learns all day for him to become a good person is
- 2:47different. Misha Tarato Manute and Odeda
- 2:51Kahassidu how to really Misha Sarika ask you that's more if
- 2:56you're learning all day, you have one social challenges, you
- 2:59have your own challenge of how to support your family.
- 3:02You have your own challenges of how to develop and turn
- 3:05different ways financially. And then if a person works and
- 3:08he works with his friend, he has his own set of challenges.
- 3:12Veloze Vaze Tedaka has a dude. So now I give you 3 people.
- 3:19He gives you so far three people.
- 3:20Take a quote out. Person, person spends as they
- 3:23were. Does he have challenges?
- 3:26Does he have challenges? Sure, he has challenges.
- 3:28And our age challenge is unique and different than the guy who
- 3:31works for a boss. Very much so.
- 3:34And is that employee, his challenges very different than
- 3:38the guy who has no boss and he himself is his own boss?
- 3:41They're very different, right? And everyone who's been in these
- 3:45situations knows just how different they are.
- 3:47I mean, I have to some degree to call no challenge.
- 3:49I had it for a long time. I have to some degree I don't
- 3:53have they're working for somebody else challenge.
- 3:54I never applied that one. I have some degree.
- 3:57They're running something challenge and they all have
- 3:59their own issues. For example, running something
- 4:03you have the issue of a nod. I mean, boss, you have to have
- 4:05your own self motivation. You have to have your own self
- 4:07pushing. You have to have in a certain
- 4:09degree. If you're running something on
- 4:11your own, you have to have certain degrees of honesty that
- 4:14you can test yourself with for sure.
- 4:16If you're in the Coral world, challenges are clear that
- 4:19support your family. You have to figure out and make
- 4:21enough money to support your family.
- 4:23You have to figure out a remain very low budget in order to do
- 4:27that properly. You have to make sure your whole
- 4:29life is consistent with the way you're trying to your ideals a
- 4:33lot there right? I call a person, for example,
- 4:36has to be just give me a classic example.
- 4:39He has to make sure that his entire life is consistent with
- 4:43the ideals of life he's trying to live.
- 4:45It means if you're spending your whole life learning Hashem soda,
- 4:48you're not allowed, whether someone tells you or not, you're
- 4:50not allowed to do certain things that don't fit with that
- 4:54lifestyle. And you have to challenge
- 4:55yourself to to keep yourself on that level.
- 4:59And the same thing is true for someone who works.
- 5:02You have your own level of challenges.
- 5:03And he's trying to tell you that every person has a development
- 5:07and every person has a growth. And that's why you'll never see
- 5:11two people that are looking exactly the same, because you
- 5:13never see two people with the exact same life situation and
- 5:17the same challenges. And because of that, the outcome
- 5:21and the development will be very different.
- 5:22That's what he tells you all right, called the Kala Misha,
- 5:25who the female shoe that will in law that has to do it.
- 5:30And it's not because a great Jew has different forms.
- 5:34There's only one great Jew that's a person who serves of
- 5:37Shen and because of his different life situations, it
- 5:40develops differently. Every single Jew has the exact
- 5:46same rule become a great person. Yet because of the different
- 5:49situations developed, every person has one job to do what I
- 5:56Shem wants about because life changes and the situation
- 6:04change, it's impossible that no two people.
- 6:07It's impossible that every person is going to have the same
- 6:09outcome even though the overall goal is the same.
- 6:14So you can imagine that every person has one task to be a
- 6:20great Jew, yet every person has a completely different path to
- 6:24people, to brothers, to friends, to people, even in the same line
- 6:27of work, especially to people in different lines of work, they
- 6:30are going to be different. Even if they were both going to
- 6:32be great, and you could say about both of them at their
- 6:35special they great and impressive.
- 6:38You can't find the flaw in them. And yet they're still so
- 6:41different because everything about them and their makeup and
- 6:43the situation is so different. That's it tells you and
- 6:46therefore your job is never to try to copy somebody else, never
- 6:49your job, never in your mind. You think I want to be like that
- 6:53person, I want to be like them and I want to have their
- 6:56approach to life, want to have the understanding.
- 6:59I want to have maybe their character that yes, but I do not
- 7:02want to be them because I don't have them.
- 7:05I don't have their marriage, I don't have their children, I
- 7:07don't have their parents. I don't have their line of work.
- 7:10I don't have the level of income, I don't have the health
- 7:12situation. I have no idea their experiences
- 7:15in their background. I don't have them, so how could
- 7:17I be like them? The perfect Jew is a perfect
- 7:20cocktail of combinations. That's a perfect Jew, someone
- 7:24who took the situation and made the best of it.
- 7:27And I think about this whole time, What if you have a guy
- 7:29who's got a rough background? Lily didn't have the greatest
- 7:32upbringing, didn't have the greatest parents.
- 7:35That person, it's possible he can become a Sadiq.
- 7:40No, no shot. He can hold anything against
- 7:42him. It's possible he can become a
- 7:43Sadiq. Yet his pathway to becoming a
- 7:45Sadiq, becoming a great person requires fighting a lot of
- 7:49things. Fighting and molding himself,
- 7:52developing himself, creating basic ideas that you and I grew
- 7:56up with. The obvious, he has to create
- 7:58those and he therefore might slip and fall a little more than
- 8:01you and I would and he might make some mistakes.
- 8:03Are you going to comment about him and say that guy doesn't
- 8:05know what he's doing? That's not true.
- 8:07He's finding out what he's supposed to be doing and that
- 8:09for that person is literally his pathway to greatness.
- 8:14The pathway to greenness is not the way the cookie cutter system
- 8:17in the book. It's not the pathway.
- 8:19The pair of the greenness is a person working on themselves,
- 8:23developing themselves and growing.
- 8:25That's the pathway. And it could be starting from
- 8:27the ground up, or it could be learning from a higher platform
- 8:30and going even higher. But it's the same, same concept,
- 8:34which is a person has to work at themselves and grow and serve
- 8:37action. But do not expect two people to
- 8:40look or seem at all like that's not the goal, never the goal.
- 8:44And even if they start at the same place, they still have so
- 8:46many different things coming their way and therefore their
- 8:49challenges are very different. For example, the given us says
- 8:51how one person in one line of work and beat the horn, right?
- 8:57Beat the horn is trusting Hashem.
- 9:00Simple concept, trusting Hashem and everything.
- 9:03Are you and I alike in the in the system of beat the horn or
- 9:06not? No, because you have to deal
- 9:08with certain business things and you have to deal with certain
- 9:11the industry changing and all these different things.
- 9:14And I have to deal with my own challenges financially and
- 9:16they're completely different. Pita Horn, which is 1 simple
- 9:19concept, Trust Hashant has so many different branches that
- 9:23come out of it and they're completely different, right?
- 9:26If you have a person who's about to say about to go to chosen
- 9:31too, you have a person whose kids always behave properly.
- 9:34OK, So for him, he doesn't even never really applied.
- 9:38He could say they didn't fully apply the constants of pita horn
- 9:41toward raising children. And then you have someone.
- 9:43I spoke to someone last week, a few days ago.
- 9:46I said I have no idea what I'm doing.
- 9:48And you guys, that's very normal.
- 9:50We all went through that and you can have someone who's facing
- 9:53that and that person throws up their hands and says, God, I
- 9:56need your help. That person hates beat the horn
- 10:00in raising children is a completely different beat the
- 10:02horn than the other persons, yet they're both two people raising
- 10:06children. They look the same, they act the
- 10:07same, but it's a completely different level, one out to dig
- 10:11deep and pull out a lot of trust of God.
- 10:13Another one never really went down that Ave. same thing's
- 10:16truth, like we said, finances, raising children, health, right?
- 10:20People fully trust Hashem in health only once they face
- 10:23something. Once they face that something
- 10:25and they realized that they were completely out of their control,
- 10:28that's when they dug deep and they pulled out trust in God for
- 10:31health. And the other person, he might
- 10:32say trust Hashem in health, but unless he applied it to certain
- 10:36challenges in health, he hasn't really had never really fully
- 10:39relied on God. And it's one after the other,
- 10:41after the other. Health, marriage, relationships,
- 10:45running a business, functioning Shalom in general, There's so
- 10:50many different areas where you're trusting our Shim.
- 10:52How about a character flow? A person's working on the
- 10:54character flow and they're working.
- 10:56They're working and they can't really get past it.
- 10:58It's an anger issue. They can't get past it.
- 11:00And they turn into our Shim and say our Shim, please help me.
- 11:03Please help me avoid the triggers.
- 11:04Please help me develop myself better.
- 11:06That person, his trust in God when it comes to character, when
- 11:11it comes to the assistance of just being me, it's a completely
- 11:14different level than the other guy who never even thought that
- 11:17he's supposed to go to Hashem for that area, right?
- 11:19A lot of people don't realize you should go to God to help you
- 11:22fish our lament to go to God to help you feed a character for
- 11:25us. And again, one person developed
- 11:28in that area, the other person did not.
- 11:30And it's endless the differences between different people.
- 11:34And therefore it's endless to understand that you and I never
- 11:37supposed to look alike. Never.
- 11:39Instead, we're supposed to become the best version of
- 11:42ourselves. And therefore we look at our own
- 11:45situation. Here's what it does.
- 11:46You look at your own situation, your life, and you say God gave
- 11:50me a full world I own. It's got my own picture on it.
- 11:54It's got my own structure, completely mine.
- 11:57And this world has so many different ways for me to
- 12:00develop. It's all mine.
- 12:01It's all unique to me and every single aspect of my life are
- 12:06forms of my development, every aspect.
- 12:09And I cannot find one area of my life that is not there for me to
- 12:15develop. They're all, we said, tailor
- 12:17made it for me. They're all unique.
- 12:19They're all not like the other guy, but they're all developing
- 12:23the perfect machine and they also developed the perfect you
- 12:27and you and you. That's the idea and you should
- 12:29see that in your life. That means you look at your life
- 12:31and you look at every single Ave.
- 12:33You cannot find one Ave. that isn't there for Goose.
- 12:38It isn't there to help you develop.
- 12:39You want to develop your money. You want to develop how you
- 12:41handle money, how you handle your family, all these different
- 12:44areas. You want to develop your
- 12:45character, every aspect of your character.
- 12:48That's all tailor made to you. But it's based on this concept
- 12:52that the greatest Jew is the greatest you, not the greatest
- 12:56person that you heard of. Even being like a Gadol doesn't
- 13:00mean you want to copy their structure exactly.
- 13:04I'll give you an example that happened to me number years ago
- 13:07when rebel Yasha passed away. It's happened to a few people
- 13:11actually, whenever Yasha that's all passed away.
- 13:14So he was known for his his diligent learning, OK.
- 13:18And he was known specifically for the fact they learned all
- 13:21day long, never took a break towards something unbelievable.
- 13:24So a lot of people, young learners out there tried to
- 13:28copy, OK, myself included. I can't say I tried to copy him
- 13:32literally, but I remember once fully honest with you, I
- 13:35remember once I made AI, made a chart, I made a calendar on my
- 13:38day and I went through hour by hour, minute by minute, how I'm
- 13:43going to be a little like him. And I started to wake up very
- 13:47early in the morning, go to sleep very late, even though he
- 13:49went to sleep early. And I always start, I was some
- 13:54for a couple of days. It was unbelievable.
- 13:56I remember looking I have the paper in somewhere where has
- 13:59every minute and I got a few minutes for lunch, few minutes
- 14:02for dinner, few minutes for my wife to do so unbelievable.
- 14:06I can't tell you how much I crashed and burned.
- 14:08Have no idea. Have the couple of days I was
- 14:11fighting. I was angry, I was tired, I was
- 14:15exhausted. Why?
- 14:16Because now you still should have that motivation.
- 14:19But you can't be like him. That's not the goal.
- 14:22Your goal isn't to be yourself. Now it helps to try to be like
- 14:25somebody because it makes you be much more highly motivated.
- 14:29But at the same time it leads to a person, like we said, not
- 14:34being the healthy self. Your job, my job, our job, all
- 14:38of us is to always be the best version of ourselves.
- 14:41That leaves you a little bit open-ended because you don't
- 14:44know what's the best version of yourself.
- 14:46But it just means take every area of your life and say to
- 14:49yourself, how can I work with that area?
- 14:51And I can't just say that's handled, not handled.
- 14:54Every single area can be perfected, can be developed, and
- 14:57they're there for your developed and they're tailor made for you,
- 15:00for your development. OK, we'll stop with this.
- 15:03That we can understand these people who were abused as
- 15:06children, correct? They end up abusing their own
- 15:09kids.
