Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Felix here and welcome to this no longer echoey live stream here.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Pre-market I want to walk you through probably the biggest earnings day of the year Tesla, meta, what that means for NVIDIA, microsoft, the ongoing deep-seek panic and what to do about that, and also what I'm buying on a day like today, because I think it's a glorious, glorious opportunity.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I also asked you in the chat whether you ever procrastinate, as in put things off.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You realize you need to make a change, but you don't.
- 0:35Speaker 1: And 81% of you answered yes, which is rather honest of you.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Now, procrastination does what it puts off change, right.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It prevents change and holds us back, and change is it's never a matter of ability.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's always a matter of motivation or drive or reasons, right, but change is not a matter of ability.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Anybody can change.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Anybody can become a better investor.
- 1:05Speaker 1: It's just a question of whether you want to or not.
- 1:07Speaker 1: What's your motivation, what's your drive, what are your reasons?
- 1:11Speaker 1: And let me ask you this how many of you have an area in your life where you know what you need to do but you are not doing it?
- 1:22Speaker 1: It's just like nah, can you relate to that?
- 1:25Speaker 1: Can anybody relate to that?
- 1:26Speaker 1: Put a one in the chat If you are procrastinating or putting something off that you know you want to do.
- 1:32Speaker 1: It might be going to the gym, it might be eating healthier, it might be, you know, looking after your investment better, maybe learning something like anything like that.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Okay, kk, you're honest.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I appreciate you for that.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Well, the only reason you're not doing it?
- 1:47Speaker 1: So Kiwi, dave, clap, my dog, all you guys here who are not doing something, you know most of us, right, most of us are doing that.
- 1:55Speaker 1: The only reason you're not doing it, even though you know you kind of have to do it or want to do it, is you don't have a strong enough reason.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So because whatever you're doing, that's not good right now, it does still meet some of your needs, right.
- 2:11Speaker 1: That's why people watch tv, is why people scroll on instagram and people smoke and drink and all these things.
- 2:16Speaker 1: That gives them some level of satisfaction because you can meet your requirements in a negative way.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But if you actually really want to grow, if you really want to contribute good, if you really want to get better, then you kind of need to create that need.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You need to have a need.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You need to have a reason, something against the other bed this morning.
- 2:36Speaker 1: That makes it into what a must.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So then the goal becomes a must.
- 2:42Speaker 1: What's your goal for today?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Whatever it is, you want to change whatever it is, you want to improve.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Make it a must.
- 2:45Speaker 1: What's your goal for today?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Whatever it is, you want to change whatever it is, you want to improve.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Make it a must and find out a reason for why you really want to do that.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Ideally something outside of you, right?
- 2:53Speaker 1: If you say, oh, I must buy a Lamborghini, that honestly isn't all that strong a motivation.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But if you say I must do this to provide for my child, that's very powerful.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I'd like for you to do that today.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Make a little note, just like write it down.
- 3:08Speaker 1: What's your reason?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Why?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Why do you want to get better?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Maybe you want to become a better investor.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Who wants to become a better investor hands up like I put a one in the chat to make make some money.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm not also a psychologist.
- 3:19Speaker 1: No, it's all mindset, like trading, investing, it's it's 90 mindset.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I always say that everything in life pretty much is mindset, but I know you're not here for a mindset lecture, but I think it's so important that I kind of want to get it in sometimes because I see so many people who are like, yeah, yeah, I'd like to get better, but I'll do it next week, I'll do it next month, oh, I've got to do this first, I'll do it next month, oh, I've got to do this first.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It's too hard, it takes too much time, it takes too much money.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You know all that kind of stuff.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I'm actually not drinking GAC juice today.
- 3:49Speaker 1: For those of you who followed me for a while, today we're on the pomegranate juice, you see, that which is I was in Dubai for two weeks, right, and that was one of here and I love it.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Who says works gets in the way?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you see, there's something.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You know.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You're letting it get in the way.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So you can be honest with yourself, right, you're just not, you're not putting it that much of a priority on the thing you want to do, maybe it's getting better at investing, because you haven't got a real, really hardcore motivation for why you want to do it.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And you know often, like for me, it was.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You know, I didn't exercise, I never moved, and then one day I fell over and I couldn't walk and I couldn't walk for like six months and I was in horrible pain.
- 4:38Speaker 1: That became my motivation.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I'm not saying that's a good thing to do, by the way, to wait for that long, but that's something in my mind now.
- 4:46Speaker 1: If I don't exercise, I might get back to that stage.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So I exercise all the time.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Slurp away Okay, is this a slurping back?
- 4:53Speaker 1: I hope so.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I hope so.
- 4:54Speaker 1: It's high in sugar, is it?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Is it?
- 5:04Speaker 1: You're right, 14 grams Doesn't taste like it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Bloody, bloody, sour, 100% organic pomegranate juice, not from concentrate.
- 5:14Speaker 1: But yes, it's a little high in sugar, but somehow I like it.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Anyway, let's move on to our favorite stocks here and making some money.
- 5:21Speaker 1: The 14-hour shift, sue.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that'll do it.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Anyway, let's move on to our favorite stocks here and making some money.
- 5:24Speaker 1: The 14-hour shift, sue.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that'll do it.
- 5:25Speaker 1: That'll get you tired enough to lose focus.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I get that when you're tired, it's easiest to slide into the bad habits and it's a little tougher to do that.
- 5:37Speaker 1: So you, sue, need a goal and a reason that is probably twice as big as anybody else, because you will be tired and and therefore you have to be like well, I'm really tired, I just want to sit here, I want to have a drink, I want to sit on the sofa, I want to sleep.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Um, so you need an even bigger dream.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You need an even bigger goal, but I can't give you that.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You need to find that one for yourself.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Is it added sugar?
- 6:00Speaker 1: No, no, no, nothing added.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Nothing out of the tool.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Um, this is literally just pure juice from pure pomegranates, nothing added.
- 6:07Speaker 1: So, no, no, I wouldn't buy it if there's sugar in it separately anyway.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So right, tesla, tesla earnings out.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I've made an entire tesla video which is coming out straight after this one.
- 6:17Speaker 1: So if you are really interested in tesla, watch that.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'll break down the whole thing for you.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'll walk you through my trades and everything else.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But this is probably the number one quote from the earnings call, and Elon said I see a path to Tesla being the most valuable company in the world.
- 6:32Speaker 1: There's a path to Tesla being worth more than the next top five companies combined.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Next top five companies at present are worth $15 trillion, which would take us to 12x.
- 6:44Speaker 1: At the moment, tesla is a $1.22 billion company approximately.
- 6:48Speaker 1: So you multiply that by 12, you get to $15 trillion.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Now we do know Elon thinks big and all of that.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So maybe it's a little bit ambitious.
- 6:57Speaker 1: But let's say, cut it in half, let's just say it's a $7 trillion stock.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm still quite happy with my 6X, so pretty extraordinary stuff.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But if you want to get the full detail on that, go back to the channel and you'll get the pop-up for the proper video there later.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Omegon reduces prohibitively expensive, at least in my area.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It isn't cheap, I grant you that.
- 7:26Speaker 1: So make more money and then it becomes relatively inexpensive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: All expenses are relative.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I really like to try to figure that out.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It's all relative, like every single thing I used to think was expensive.
- 7:38Speaker 1: It becomes relative, and that's the beauty of making your money work for you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So you, I used to think was expensive.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It becomes relative and that's the beauty of making your money work for you.
- 7:43Speaker 1: So you know what to do.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Um zooks, little play thing here.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Meta pretty impressive numbers.
- 7:50Speaker 1: This is earnings per share growth.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Right, this is the growth.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So they're growing faster last quarter than in any quarter since 2019.
- 8:00Speaker 1: He's really pulled it out of the bag.
- 8:02Speaker 1: That one Amazing data from Meta.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So very, very, very happy to see those numbers out there, and this one here is also good for the market.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They're saying they're going to spend $114 to $119 billion in 2025, which means a massive amount of spend on what?
- 8:22Speaker 1: On what Does anybody know?
- 8:24Speaker 1: On GPUs, on NVIDIA, basically.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So this should be very, very good for NVIDIA.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Now is the stock lapping it up.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Let me show you the Where's the heat map.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Here it is.
- 8:39Speaker 1: This was yesterday NVIDIA down 4%, tesla down 2% and the market.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Tesla up 4%, nvidia flat, at least flat right.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Microsoft down 5%.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I can walk you through that in a second as well, but it looks pretty good so far.
- 8:55Speaker 1: From a meta point of view, fox Gaming, my friend, you made 14% investment on your investment this month, learned everything from the masterclass.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Brilliant Fox Gaming Shall.
- 9:08Speaker 1: We encourage people to watch the masterclass.
- 9:09Speaker 1: In that case, fox, maybe we should do that, right?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Where's the link there?
- 9:13Speaker 1: It is FelixRensselaercom.
- 9:14Speaker 1: If you want to watch the masterclass that Fox watched and he says, made him 14% this month, watch that.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And then let's see what the Microsoft CEO said.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Satya, I like the guy.
- 9:29Speaker 1: He's basically saying that what we're seeing with the whole DeepSeek thing, don't worry about it.
- 9:38Speaker 1: That's basically what he's saying.
- 9:39Speaker 1: He's saying if you can run models without massive cloud infrastructure, and he said, you can now run a model that required pretty massive cloud infrastructure on your PC, right?
- 9:53Speaker 1: So the models are getting more efficient.
- 9:56Speaker 1: He's saying for a hyperscaler like us and a PPC platform provider like us, this is all good news.
- 10:02Speaker 1: As far as I'm concerned, he's just saying people will use AI more.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It'll be omnipresent.
- 10:07Speaker 1: The cheaper it gets, the more people will use it and it'll just scale.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But he's not worried about it, not worried about it at all, and I can see that from his point of view.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It's a software company and what was I telling you about a year ago about software versus hardware?
- 10:20Speaker 1: I said software is next.
- 10:21Speaker 1: We've done a lot of the hardware growth.
- 10:23Speaker 1: The software guys will continue to grow for a long time.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Why are they getting hit?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Well, microsoft is getting hit here.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We got the numbers somewhere.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Okay, I don't have it written down here, but I can tell you their Azure cloud data I think I have a chart for it somewhere.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Their Azure, which is their cloud computing, grew a little bit less than expected.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's what it is data.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I think I have a chart for it somewhere.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Their Azure, which is their cloud computing, grew a little bit less than expected.
- 10:58Speaker 1: That's really it.
- 11:00Speaker 1: It grew a little bit less than expected.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It still grew 31%, which is pretty extraordinary, I think, but the market wanted a little bit more.
- 11:06Speaker 1: That's really it.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That's really all there is to it.
- 11:09Speaker 1: We saw that also last quarter, and last quarter the explanation was they didn't have enough GPUs.
- 11:13Speaker 1: They didn't have enough GPUs, so they didn't have capacity, so they had max capacity in the markets and I thought that was bad news.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I would just argue that Microsoft is a tremendous business.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You always get this right.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And this comes back to mindset there is always a reason to sell.
- 11:26Speaker 1: This isn't going back to like beginning of time.
- 11:30Speaker 1: This is going back just to 2009.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And look at all the things Cyprus, ebola I mean earnings recession, charlottesville, the Delta variant, you know.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Russia invades Omicron, israel war, the N2QE you know all sorts of stuff.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Silicon Valley Bank, the yen carry trade it's a gazillion reasons you can say let's jump off a bridge.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And right now it's the latest reason is deep seek.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Well, the stock market continues to go up right, this was COVID, by the way.
- 12:10Speaker 1: They're all bad reasons.
- 12:10Speaker 1: So stay invested.
- 12:11Speaker 1: That's what I always say Stay invested, but you can shift things around and make it more efficient, and if you do that, I think you could potentially make a heck of a lot more.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I mean, fox, what do you say?
- 12:17Speaker 1: You made 14% or something like that In a month.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Right, that's what the market usually does in a year.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So you can do better than the market, in my humble opinion, if you know what to do.
- 12:28Speaker 1: How do you do that?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Well, if you'd like to do that, then come and either watch the masterclass down below or just hop on a call with us, phoenixrunsorg freedom, and get your freedom call.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It's a completely free call.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You get to ask us a million questions about how we coach people.
- 12:44Speaker 1: How do we coach people?
- 12:45Speaker 1: One-on-one usually, so we hop on one-on-one calls with you, my mentors and you on zoom calls.
- 12:53Speaker 1: We run group calls as well um weekly live trading calls where you can see what we're doing and you on zoom calls.
- 12:56Speaker 1: We run group calls as well um weekly live trading calls where you can see what we're doing and you get to see people who've done this for decades inside investment banks and hedge funds and pension funds and manage very, very large portfolios, and see what they do and learn my rules, the system, the structure that I apply every single day, or at least every single week.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I'm a bit lazy, I don't do it every day and, as I say, it's completely free call, zero pressure.
- 13:21Speaker 1: You just have a chat with us, have a nice conversation, get a lot more clarity and maybe we'll help you find your reason.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Sue, maybe we'll help you find your reason.
- 13:32Speaker 1: If we can, I'd be very happy to do that.
- 13:34Speaker 1: You also coach about European style options.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not that different, it's just a few variations, but otherwise the theme is very much the same.
