- 0:08Speaker 1: Scalable advice. Shog Spice. It's nice never never never, never know.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Welcome to the naughty but nice Show. I'm your house
- 0:18Speaker 1: round shooter. Hey. Joining us today is our favorite Mr
- 0:23Speaker 1: Lana Dixon. Hey, Miss d Are you there? I am?
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's Monday, Monday, and it's a very special Monday. Today
- 0:29Speaker 1: we are commemorating Juneteenth, Miss d You've been commemorating this
- 0:35Speaker 1: for a very long time, mistake. Yeah, ever since I
- 0:37Speaker 1: was a kid, we celebrated Juneteenth. And for people who
- 0:40Speaker 1: aren't exactly sure what it is, it's the commemoration of
- 0:45Speaker 1: the day that enslaved people in Texas found out they
- 0:48Speaker 1: were free June nineteenth, eighteen sixty five, a full two
- 0:52Speaker 1: years after the Imancination Proclamation that freed the slaves. So
- 0:57Speaker 1: it's a celebration, of course, but for a very kind
- 1:00Speaker 1: of twisted reason. But yes, as a kid, we did
- 1:03Speaker 1: a lot of Juneteenth parades and barbecues to celebrate the day.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Are you allowing to say, is it right to say
- 1:09Speaker 1: happy Juneteenth? Or is that not the right expression? Mist
- 1:14Speaker 1: I mean, you can definitely say it, but maybe just
- 1:17Speaker 1: say it and be like happy Juneteenth, if that's cool
- 1:19Speaker 1: with you. But hey, we're gonna jump into the show.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But I think to miss D the day gives us
- 1:26Speaker 1: an opportunity to not only think of how far we've come,
- 1:31Speaker 1: but also to think about how far we still have
- 1:34Speaker 1: to go. Absolutely, we love our country, we love America,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and I think we're all still learning that to deal
- 1:42Speaker 1: with the past, we have to talk about the past.
- 1:45Speaker 1: And I know that's really challenging for some people. But
- 1:48Speaker 1: the more you learn, the more you make sure that
- 1:51Speaker 1: you understand different people's backgrounds, whether they be African American
- 1:55Speaker 1: or Caccasion or wherever your background is from. And then
- 1:59Speaker 1: we get to relate to each other because you'll probably
- 2:01Speaker 1: find out that we have a lot more similarities than differences. Men, Hey,
- 2:05Speaker 1: my friends, what time is it? It is D at
- 2:09Speaker 1: the top of the show. So Buckingham Palace is being
- 2:11Speaker 1: accused of burying the investigation into Megan Markles alleged bullying.
- 2:17Speaker 1: So the London Times, this is a very fancy paper
- 2:20Speaker 1: in London. It's like the New York Times. Never shocking
- 2:23Speaker 1: shocking new report out that Buckingham Palaces investigation into Mega
- 2:28Speaker 1: markles alleged bullying of staff has changed procedures and policies
- 2:34Speaker 1: within the Palace, particularly the HR Department. But they go
- 2:38Speaker 1: on to say that the findings are so highly sensitive
- 2:42Speaker 1: that they have buried this report and will never ever releases.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Sources said this is both to protect the privacy of
- 2:53Speaker 1: the successes, but also too they want to tamp down
- 2:57Speaker 1: any tensions. So they finally saw of getting along. Not really,
- 3:01Speaker 1: but things might be a little bit better. The last
- 3:03Speaker 1: thing they need to do is put on an explosive
- 3:06Speaker 1: report about Prince Harry's wife. He will blow up. This
- 3:10Speaker 1: could get really, really nasty. Do you think Mr this
- 3:14Speaker 1: is the right decision to bury it. Well, I think
- 3:17Speaker 1: they are protecting their assets because we know that Prince
- 3:21Speaker 1: Harry and Megan Markel have no problem if somebody says
- 3:25Speaker 1: something about them taking to a TV station, a book,
- 3:30Speaker 1: a podcast, a Netflix, I like that back yes, to
- 3:35Speaker 1: say how they feel. And so these findings could come
- 3:38Speaker 1: out and Megan can come out and say that they're
- 3:41Speaker 1: taken out of contacts and give her side at the story.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So I think this is they're burying them because they
- 3:49Speaker 1: just don't want to have that happening. It's really sensitive
- 3:52Speaker 1: to give Megan, Yeah, really really sensitive. Now the Queen
- 3:55Speaker 1: privately funded this. She paid for an independent law firm
- 3:59Speaker 1: to look to these accusations. They began last March when
- 4:02Speaker 1: two senior members of the palace staff said they were
- 4:06Speaker 1: bullied into leaving their joms they were working for the
- 4:10Speaker 1: Duchess of Sussex. Then a third person came forward and
- 4:13Speaker 1: said that they were humiliated by Megan Marco after she
- 4:17Speaker 1: arrived in Kensington Palace. At the time, Megan Marcos spokespeople
- 4:22Speaker 1: they denied all these accusations and they said they were
- 4:25Speaker 1: saddened about the attack on her character. Also, two people
- 4:30Speaker 1: noticed that these attacks came just before her interview with
- 4:34Speaker 1: Oprah Winfrey, so lots of suspicious time in care. Now
- 4:38Speaker 1: I've been poking around my Megan insiders tell me they
- 4:42Speaker 1: doubt this story is true because if the palace had
- 4:45Speaker 1: any dirt on Megan, they would love to release it.
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's what they said. Her friends are like, the palace
- 4:50Speaker 1: has never held back to protect her, so why would
- 4:53Speaker 1: they suddenly be doing it now. My sources at the
- 4:56Speaker 1: palace tell me the investigation didn't really uncover anything that
- 5:00Speaker 1: was too big a bombshell, But it's all very uncomfortable.
- 5:03Speaker 1: After all, there's still a family. There are some criticisms
- 5:06Speaker 1: of her within the palace. These were investigated. Now that
- 5:10Speaker 1: report because the Queen privately funded it. She owns this report.
- 5:14Speaker 1: She's not going to release it. I say it ultimately
- 5:17Speaker 1: gets out misst These reports always leak out, so it's
- 5:20Speaker 1: better off just putting it out. I think, I don't know,
- 5:23Speaker 1: because you you hit on something there, and I don't
- 5:26Speaker 1: want to say it because I didn't want to insult anybody.
- 5:29Speaker 1: But you know, Megan's from She's an American, so maybe
- 5:33Speaker 1: she said things that people who grew up in England
- 5:37Speaker 1: the British just didn't understand or it just didn't jive
- 5:41Speaker 1: with the culture there, and so that might have been
- 5:43Speaker 1: the reasons people felt uncomfortable. They just weren't used to
- 5:47Speaker 1: the way she wanted to do things. And so I'm
- 5:50Speaker 1: thinking maybe if it comes out, it's not as as
- 5:52Speaker 1: shocking as people thought it was going to be. It's
- 5:55Speaker 1: that shocking. I mean, maybe she's a little bossy. We
- 5:57Speaker 1: know that I'm a little boss you know what I mean? Like,
- 6:00Speaker 1: maybe she didn't do things quite the British ways. She's
- 6:03Speaker 1: an American girl and she's not a child either. She's
- 6:06Speaker 1: a growing woman. And she has strong opinions. I think
- 6:10Speaker 1: those are celebrated in America, maybe not within the British
- 6:14Speaker 1: royal family. But I always believe this mystery in life.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Get it out, say it, drop the report and then
- 6:20Speaker 1: let me respond. Though I will respond to them. Don't
- 6:22Speaker 1: get angry when I fight back. But I think hiding
- 6:25Speaker 1: it never ever works because ultimately it will leak out.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It brings us to our pole. Question of the day.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Buckingham Palace have allegedly buried the investigation into Megan Markles
- 6:36Speaker 1: alleged bullying. The results of that investigation are now final, however,
- 6:42Speaker 1: the Palace will not release them. What do you think
- 6:45Speaker 1: should the palace? Should the Queen, and she's in charge,
- 6:49Speaker 1: should she release the findings of the investigation? Yes or no?
- 6:54Speaker 1: Go Vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
- 6:58Speaker 1: Facebook page is naughty Girls Here she check your results.
- 7:05Speaker 1: What was the interview we've all been waiting for? Amber
- 7:08Speaker 1: heard sat down with Dateline and she shared her post
- 7:12Speaker 1: trial plan. So she said, I look forward to living
- 7:16Speaker 1: my life. So in an hour long interview with Savannah Guthrie,
- 7:21Speaker 1: she said, now that the trial has concluded, she's looking
- 7:24Speaker 1: forward to motherhood and she says, I get to be
- 7:27Speaker 1: a mom. I get to be a full time mom.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So now, for those not in the know, Amber welcome
- 7:35Speaker 1: to baby girl back in July via surrogate and said
- 7:40Speaker 1: she would be both the mom and the dad to
- 7:43Speaker 1: the baby. And I quote what she said. I think,
- 7:47Speaker 1: no matter what, it will means something. I did the
- 7:51Speaker 1: right thing. I did everything I could to stand up
- 7:54Speaker 1: for myself and the truth. And I look forward to
- 7:58Speaker 1: living my life and I have a long one, I
- 8:01Speaker 1: hope in front of me, and I will continue to
- 8:03Speaker 1: walk through this with my chin up. That's what she's
- 8:08Speaker 1: really difficult here, and so I think focusing on her child,
- 8:13Speaker 1: on her private life is probably a good idea. I
- 8:16Speaker 1: don't totally believe it, though, because she said this while
- 8:18Speaker 1: sitting down with NBC. So the best way to focus
- 8:22Speaker 1: on your family is to just do it, not to
- 8:25Speaker 1: say you're going to do it. Drink an interview, I think, Amber,
- 8:28Speaker 1: if you're listening law law, LAWA, stop doing these interviews
- 8:31Speaker 1: just for a while, get your head together, think about
- 8:33Speaker 1: what you're gonna want to say. It's too soon. It's
- 8:35Speaker 1: too soon for you to know yet, really how you
- 8:38Speaker 1: feel about all this. Take at least a week off.
- 8:41Speaker 1: How about a month off, disappear, be with your family,
- 8:45Speaker 1: figure this out, and then take the next steps. I
- 8:49Speaker 1: think jumping right away into not a little interview. This
- 8:52Speaker 1: is Savannah Gatharia. This is a major interview. Misd. I
- 8:57Speaker 1: think it's a mistake. Yeah, but it's so hard when
- 8:59Speaker 1: you feel that you've been wronged, especially in court in
- 9:02Speaker 1: front of the whole world, to hold back on your feelings.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You want to be like, wait a second, that's not fair.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And I think this is her, that's not fair at
- 9:11Speaker 1: tour that she's doing. Not to say that she shouldn't
- 9:14Speaker 1: take because you know what, the biggest control you have
- 9:16Speaker 1: is between stimuli and response. So I agree in taking
- 9:20Speaker 1: some time to really think about what you want to say.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But it's hard when people are saying you're dead wrong
- 9:26Speaker 1: and you don't feel your dad. I live it every day.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I live it every day. Okay, let's move along. Chloe
- 9:31Speaker 1: Kardashian is setting the record straight about her dating life.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So anonymously, somebody reported that Chloe's dating another NBA player.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Chloe saw this responded saying it's definitely not true. I
- 9:44Speaker 1: love you and I thank you for your nice wishes,
- 9:47Speaker 1: but I'm not seeing a soul. I'm happy to focus
- 9:49Speaker 1: on my daughter and myself for a while. So the
- 9:52Speaker 1: rumor comes after a recent episode of The car Dashian
- 9:55Speaker 1: Show that showed a lot of drama unfolding in how
- 9:58Speaker 1: Chloe spit up and had Chloe split up with Tristan Thompson.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It was very, very very ugly. But she's not dating
- 10:06Speaker 1: again just yet. Let me tell you a little secret,
- 10:09Speaker 1: my friends, when Chloe's dating, Chris Gener will tell us
- 10:12Speaker 1: all we don't have to work, we don't have to worry.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It's so lovely as reporters, mistery, we don't have to
- 10:18Speaker 1: work that hard on the Kardashians because they tell us everything.
- 10:20Speaker 1: They just tell us. Now, this is the exact opposite,
- 10:24Speaker 1: right to Chloe actually wants to take some time just
- 10:27Speaker 1: to focus on herself, focus on her child and every
- 10:30Speaker 1: I think all the fans want her to be happy,
- 10:33Speaker 1: so they're always saying, oh, no, she's in love with
- 10:35Speaker 1: somebody else. But you know what, after her breakup, you
- 10:38Speaker 1: need some time. You have to figure out what you want.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And look, if your Chloe Kardashian, you got the money,
- 10:45Speaker 1: the clothes, the family, the TV network, behind you to
- 10:50Speaker 1: take the time. She only know me have right now
- 10:53Speaker 1: ever need anybody hate, Chloe was sending you our love,
- 10:55Speaker 1: a level level love. This story made me sad. Mistery
- 10:58Speaker 1: Wendy Williams, we both being on her show many times.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I like to think of Wendy a somewhat of a friend.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I know that you have met lots and lots of
- 11:06Speaker 1: different occasions to what's going on with Wendy. The show's over,
- 11:10Speaker 1: the show is over, and you would think that her
- 11:13Speaker 1: purple chair and and other memorabilia from the show would
- 11:16Speaker 1: be saved. Sources are telling me that all her stuff
- 11:22Speaker 1: is just being thrown out in the trash. Now this
- 11:25Speaker 1: part breaks my heart and I might have to roll
- 11:28Speaker 1: up on the studio because they're saying the wigs are
- 11:30Speaker 1: still there be thrown out and they're going to be
- 11:34Speaker 1: thrown out according to the Sun, And I'm like, wait
- 11:36Speaker 1: a second, calm miss d I will take them. You know,
- 11:41Speaker 1: you would think, yeah, you would think that her chair
- 11:44Speaker 1: would go to the Smithsterian, just like they did with
- 11:46Speaker 1: the view when they celebrated after ten years. So it's
- 11:51Speaker 1: not happening. And and the show kind of ended kind
- 11:54Speaker 1: of with a just kind of fizzled out because Wendy
- 11:57Speaker 1: didn't come back. There was no goodbye or fan fair,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and so it's just kind of a sad ending to
- 12:03Speaker 1: quite the legacy is although a friend of Wendy said
- 12:06Speaker 1: to me, it's sort of the perfect ending because it's
- 12:09Speaker 1: messy and Wendy was messy. And I mean that with
- 12:11Speaker 1: total respect. They were like, the Wendy William Shue was
- 12:14Speaker 1: never going to end like you know, a big talk show.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It is never going to end like sign failed. It
- 12:19Speaker 1: was never going to end with a big celebration or
- 12:21Speaker 1: the last episode of Friends. It was always going to
- 12:23Speaker 1: end in a messy way. And I was like, really,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and they were like, that's why Wendy's fabulous. You're not
- 12:27Speaker 1: putting her down by saying it. I hope if she's
- 12:30Speaker 1: listening lower low, I hope she would agree that that
- 12:32Speaker 1: was her skill. So having a messy ending here might
- 12:36Speaker 1: be the right thing. I do think, though, just out
- 12:38Speaker 1: of respect, they should put all that stuff in storage
- 12:40Speaker 1: one day, maybe she will want it. At the moment,
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's difficult. I don't think Wendy has the infrastructure around
- 12:46Speaker 1: her at the moment. You can't call an assistant or
- 12:48Speaker 1: a manager or an agent to say, what does she
- 12:50Speaker 1: want with this? Like I think Wendy would probably want
- 12:53Speaker 1: that chair in her living room. Hey, I would want
- 12:54Speaker 1: it MD. We could sell it on eBay. We could
- 12:57Speaker 1: a lot of money there isn't it. So it makes
- 12:59Speaker 1: me a bit sad. But at the same time, I
- 13:02Speaker 1: think it was inevitable. And I also think to hey,
- 13:04Speaker 1: shout out to Sherry Shephard. I watched that last show.
- 13:08Speaker 1: She was in a very difficult position because she's taking over,
- 13:11Speaker 1: so she had to say goodbye to Wendy and then
- 13:13Speaker 1: she also had to transition into it becoming her show.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I thought the tone was really good, and I thought, Sherry,
- 13:19Speaker 1: you are a class act sitting there looking in the
- 13:22Speaker 1: camera giving respect to Wendy Williams, somebody who's not been
- 13:26Speaker 1: that kind to Sherry. Let's say. I thought it's a
- 13:29Speaker 1: real classy move. Where were you on that mystery? Absolutely,
- 13:32Speaker 1: the only way you can handle it is with class
- 13:34Speaker 1: and dignity and of course showing reverence for the person
- 13:37Speaker 1: who did sit in that chair for so many years.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So I mean, we all got a root for Sherry
- 13:43Speaker 1: and having success for her show. And you know what,
- 13:45Speaker 1: we all got a root for Wendy and the next
- 13:48Speaker 1: step in her head I have face. She can come
- 13:51Speaker 1: back with something over them. We haven't got a pick here.
- 13:53Speaker 1: It's not even all often we we put two strong
- 13:56Speaker 1: women against each other. We don't have to do that.
- 13:58Speaker 1: We can be a fan of of Wendy and a
- 14:00Speaker 1: fan of Sherry, like you can be a fan of
- 14:02Speaker 1: Cape Middleton and also a cat fan of Mega Marco.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You don't have to pickle her. Everybody, Hey, quickly, before
- 14:08Speaker 1: we get a break. Britney spears. His lawyer is slamming
- 14:10Speaker 1: her dad for wanting to depose Brittany over her Instagram posts.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So Brittany's dad is furious that he thinks Brittany has
- 14:18Speaker 1: been trashing him on social media. She sort of parts
- 14:20Speaker 1: or maybe you know, she's been saying what she thinks
- 14:22Speaker 1: and then if it's trashing him, maybe it's just the truth.
- 14:25Speaker 1: He's furious about it, and now he wants to depose her.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Will The lawyer said, absolutely not. Hold on a minute here.
- 14:32Speaker 1: You have never sat for a deposition. They've asked him
- 14:34Speaker 1: for now a long time, and he's never done it.
- 14:37Speaker 1: The dad has already shown his true character years ago.
- 14:40Speaker 1: When it comes to Britney spears he has no no
- 14:42Speaker 1: credentials here, no reason to depose Brittany. Oh good grief.
- 14:47Speaker 1: This family drama, it's never ever going to end. We're
- 14:50Speaker 1: going to enter for a minute, then will be plugged back.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Lord. Now I'll show friend md
- 14:59Speaker 1: aim is. Let's get to the polls. Thank you very much.
- 15:05Speaker 1: The Royal family could cut off Megan and Harry if
- 15:08Speaker 1: they share details from the jubilee. Do you tell your
- 15:12Speaker 1: family secrets? This is about you, not Megan and Harry.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Let's have a look, good said, Yes, you do tell
- 15:18Speaker 1: your family secrets. I do too, mister, I do. I
- 15:21Speaker 1: just spend a week home with my family in Britain
- 15:24Speaker 1: and I've told all their secrets to everybody at party.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You know, if you're listening a lower, lower, low, mister,
- 15:29Speaker 1: you're actually pretty good at not telling secrets. Yes, I
- 15:33Speaker 1: can keep a secret really well. You'll never see it
- 15:35Speaker 1: on social media or in the public. However, you know,
- 15:40Speaker 1: when I'm talking to my girlfriends, when I'm talking to
- 15:43Speaker 1: my little sister, we'll be talking about the family. Never
- 15:48Speaker 1: get devotes on today's poll. Go to our Twitter page
- 15:51Speaker 1: and naughty Nice Rob on Facebook page. Is not yours.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I'm sure to check back to the road to hear
- 15:56Speaker 1: your results. And now it's time for Annisy Stone. Well.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Our nicest of the day is Harry Styles because he
- 16:06Speaker 1: was having a concert in Manchester, England, and he asked
- 16:10Speaker 1: the fans if they could be a quiet for just
- 16:12Speaker 1: a moment because he wanted to find one of his
- 16:16Speaker 1: first teachers who was sitting in the audience. He said,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you a favor because I'm going
- 16:22Speaker 1: to ask a favor from me because I'd like to
- 16:24Speaker 1: try to find someone. So it was his first ever
- 16:27Speaker 1: school teacher and Vernon. She was in the crowd um
- 16:31Speaker 1: and they were in the Emirates Old Tratford Stadium, which
- 16:34Speaker 1: hold twenty six thousand people. But within seconds he managed
- 16:40Speaker 1: to find her and he said, there she is, Mrs Vernon.
- 16:44Speaker 1: We fell to his knees. The crowd went wild. He said,
- 16:47Speaker 1: how are you? I heard you were retinning. I just
- 16:49Speaker 1: want to thank you for all those formative years. Thank
- 16:52Speaker 1: you so much, it means so much. And then he
- 16:55Speaker 1: dedicated a song to her Canyon Moon. So I'm sure
- 17:00Speaker 1: Mrs Vernon was touched and just giggled, pink, It's just
- 17:04Speaker 1: just just lovely. You know, there are teachers of mine
- 17:07Speaker 1: that I wish you could see how successful I've become.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm the Harry Styles, but there are some teachers that
- 17:13Speaker 1: were really, really instrumental in teaching me to be who
- 17:16Speaker 1: I am. I can name one right now, Mrs Higgins,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I remember her name. Do you have one? Yes, Professor
- 17:22Speaker 1: rut who I actually am still in touch with on Facebook.
- 17:26Speaker 1: She's she was one of the most popular instructors at
- 17:30Speaker 1: Boston University and she has so many followers and she's
- 17:34Speaker 1: just amazing. So Professor, if you're listening and you shout
- 17:38Speaker 1: out today, I love it. Let's do that. Naughties to
- 17:41Speaker 1: the day, Naughty, naughty, naughty. Jennifer Anderson has revealed that
- 17:44Speaker 1: that's salad that went viral. Remember she had the same
- 17:46Speaker 1: salad every day during the nineties while she was filming Friends.
- 17:50Speaker 1: That's salad that Jennifer Addison salad. It ain't her salad.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I know, can imagine this. So she said, quote, I'm sorry,
- 17:57Speaker 1: I feel like I'm disappointing everybody, but that's not my salad.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It looks delicious, but it's not the salad that I
- 18:03Speaker 1: had on Friends. So all this started when Courtney Cox
- 18:07Speaker 1: told the l A Times in that Jennifer had the
- 18:11Speaker 1: same salad every day and it was a doctored cop
- 18:14Speaker 1: salad while they were on the set together. Thousands of
- 18:18Speaker 1: different types of these salads have been recreated. They're all
- 18:21Speaker 1: over TikTok and Instagram. However, it's not the case. Jennifer
- 18:25Speaker 1: has no idea where the Jennifer Anderson salad recipe came from,
- 18:29Speaker 1: adding that I would never ever have chick peas in
- 18:33Speaker 1: my salad because it's not good for your digestive track.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I do have her salad of choice. She's finally revealed.
- 18:41Speaker 1: It's get your heads out. Her salad of choice is
- 18:43Speaker 1: totally different. It is shredded lettuce, chicken egg whites, a
- 18:49Speaker 1: couple of garbanzo beans I'm not sure even what they are,
- 18:52Speaker 1: some bacon or that surprising, and a bull slamic vinegarettes,
- 18:56Speaker 1: so now you know, and naughties of the day. Jen
- 19:01Speaker 1: you broke my heart. That sounds delicious. What do you
- 19:08Speaker 1: get you get? I found this quote in the book
- 19:13Speaker 1: The Forward Answer my book really inspiring and I wanted
- 19:16Speaker 1: to share it with you today. It's not that simple,
- 19:19Speaker 1: so hold with me, Mindy Kaling said the following quote,
- 19:23Speaker 1: Gratitude is the closest thing to beauty manifested as an emotion.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So if you want to know what beauty looks like,
- 19:33Speaker 1: real beauty as an emotion, it is gratitude. Yes, I mean,
- 19:40Speaker 1: we have to take time to be grateful for what
- 19:43Speaker 1: is already in our lives to make space to bring
- 19:46Speaker 1: in new things that are even greater. And it's so
- 19:49Speaker 1: hard because you're thinking, well, if I want a better life,
- 19:51Speaker 1: shouldn't I be thinking about, well, I need more of
- 19:54Speaker 1: this and I need more of that. That you have
- 19:56Speaker 1: to thank whatever it is you believe in and what
- 20:00Speaker 1: you have right now. And when you start doing that,
- 20:03Speaker 1: what happens is that you feel this freedom, this lateness
- 20:07Speaker 1: which allows more to come out. Absolutely absolutely so today,
- 20:11Speaker 1: if you want to feel, if you want to see
- 20:13Speaker 1: true beauty, don't look in the mirror, feel gratitude, feel grateful.
- 20:19Speaker 1: That is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 20:23Speaker 1: listening to The Naughty but Nice with Rom and ms
