- Sue: Today's mundane chat refers to the last few days of extreme weather. At the moment, the rain has passed and over the past immediate couple of days dropped a total accumulation of about three inches of rain. Enough so that the water table flooded above the foundation of the house, which when that happens usually means that there's plenty of water reaching underground. And that means that I should have more available water to pump from the well. So I courageously took about the task of doing a load of bed linens and towels this morning in one load, and discovered to my not so surprise that in fact I did not have more than enough water for a load, as has happened recently, and of course it's a sign that this is a real drought situation. We are out in the woods and everything is damp, and we have yet to find any ponding where we did yesterday. The vertical distance of the bridge is footbridge to the level of the water now there's about ten inches less height. Yesterday's rain runoff churned over the footbridge. Lovely to hear the runoff water. But well as stressed because also the rainfall hasn't fully traveled underground to where it should in the aquifer to refresh, which might be another day or so. Nonetheless, it may also might mean and the more practical side of it as a homeowner is that it's time to change the house water filter. But to also exp anticipate that while changing the water filter is a good thing that should be done quite frequently, more than I have, that the result might not change simply for the fact that if there's no water in the aquifer, there's no water in the aquifer. One thing about manifestation or prayer or visualization of your future that kinda trips people up, which is that you keep doing it in the same manner with the same result in mind and never succeed because what the focus is is more about the tool that you have and to allow things to flow in such a way that you pick up this bit as it happens, pick up that bit as it happens, and you're always manifesting. It's just that you're going with the flow and adjusting because the goal doesn't change. How you get there does. And that might make all the difference in whether confirmation with a blue jay of whether you have success in your mind or not. It's also about the fact that you don't hang on to a very detailed version of what it is that you deem a success. That's the big one. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, are you sure it's a duck? And if it turns out that it's a goose, is that okay? Or the other side of it is, if you ordered duck and got a goose, do you receive it as you would a duck? I say yes. Confirmation with the birdie. Because it's the action that's important, not the actual material result. In the four and a half years that I've been the sole homeowner, well I know it's always ⁓ prudent to change your water filters every year, I didn't have the money until recently to do so. Let alone take apart the housing to get at the filter and rinse it out and replace it. So as a means to starting over in an anticipation that I might actually break the housing, I'm reordering the filter and the housing just in case it doesn't go well with my inexperienced hands of household tasks, which are easy enough to learn. It's just getting into the habit of doing that. Spiritually when you start to really lean into your intuition, you with your discernment and putting that level of faith in yourself and trust that you are in fact experienced these things the way the universe intended you to experience them, you get to a place where at first the path seems really kind of unsure and rocky because it's unfamiliar feeling. And then you let some time pass and then you still have these experiences that now start to validate that you were on the right path originally. You still are on the right path. And now with the tools that you have verified is useful spiritually, now you just continue forward with your path. Most often it's just simply about running on tick over. In other words, now that you've recognized what your tools are doing for you and you're giving them what they need in terms of your creativity and your positive vibes, your life goes into a tickover kind of mode where things are operating without much effort. You still have to take care of and maintain yourself, but you know, you've got your comfort level of understanding you're right from wrong. You're making better yes no decisions for yourself, and you've taken the opportunity to look at your physical environment in such a way that you look at all of that that is around you and get rid of the stuff that isn't meant to be at your side. Because as soon as you recognize it doesn't belong there, you don't hold on to it any longer anyway. Becomes that eyesore in the house. It becomes that one item that, you know, is sitting over out of the way but is visually there to remind you to chuck it into the garbage when the next pickup comes. And then once it's gone you understand the importance of valuing yourself simply because now you've gotten into the vibe of what it feels like to accept yourself and know that you're trusting your intuition because you've got solid discernment and that you're guided by the fact that that's gonna help me you make solid yes no decisions and all of that stuff that previously might have been written off is unseen and therefore unbelievable and don't waste your time on it gives you the kind of focus that you need to put time into it because these are the things that are showing you the way forward. The one thing that I've noticed for myself over the last four years or so, as I've learned to accept myself and realize that I'm the only one that's gonna make it happen is simply because I ha an aunt, my mother's sister, who never married during the course of her life and lived alone, kept to herself, and for a long time I lived single before I married Gareth, and resonated with living solo, but that I certainly wasn't living that exact kind of life as she was. She was residing in the family homestead, working a local job that she held for her entire working career. at times lived in the house seemingly without utilities. We only know that because my dad used to work at the power utility and had access to know who had service and who didn't. She mostly kept to herself, and given the relationship she had with my mother, her sister, didn't really interact confirmation with it. Woodcracking. In contrast to me being single, I had several jaws, I traveled to different parts of the country to work, establish myself in different social circles, but otherwise probably didn't know any better how to live solo than she did in her life. And the lesson that I learned from that in retrospect now as a widow living in a homestead that I own, keeping to myself because I didn't have much money and right now I don't have much work, so it's a similar situation to what she lives. The resonance comes down to the understanding to make your life filled with things that give you passion and joy. You're gonna be spending a lot of time solo. You gotta have stuff to do. Not busy work or things that are just doing mindless activities for what you would normally want to spend your time doing, but the idea that you fall into some sort of activities that you en engage with regardless of whether you have money or not, to keep your mind active. Kind of interest that doesn't matter how old or young you are, you can enjoy it. And this is why Being musical performer of some sort, even if you're just singing in the church choir, is hugely important. That said, it's not for me to tell you what to do. It's just been my experience that I'm sharing. She was never a widow and so there is a point to which her life as mentoring my solo life breaks off in direction. I've learned that this is important for surviving living solo is that you do the stuff that you want to do. If you're doing it by yourself, you're gonna get the most out of it. And after doing so, you're gonna say, yep, that's time well spent. Because that ability, that happy vibration, that lightness of being that you feel after doing something that you love to do is exactly the kind of energy that you wanna find in someone that you want to combine lives with. Not saying that you should, but it's the tipping point for me of whether I engage long term with another soul as a life partner or not. Because at that point then, once you understand that, then when you're manifesting, you're praying, you're visualizing your future, you naturally start to feel that vibe. In my view, you're broadcasting. You're generating your own little creative energy and it's just going out, emanating out into the universe. And it's not that you're intentionally broadcasting, Hey, hi, how are you? Come on in, the door's open. No. It's the idea that you being you Sending out your energy, whether you intend to or not, you're doing that. At some point there will be someone that actually can feel that energy. Not everybody can feel your energy. They just feel it as dissonance or feeling off. This is why you have to be really careful about not blaming others if they're making you feel off, because it doesn't necessarily have to be anybody that you can see or know. You just know it is that's not a matching frequency or vibration. ⁓ I'm trying to sound metaphysical, I just lack the vocabulary to more clearly express my feelings here. But when you send out you being you into the universe, other souls that are also creating those frequencies will be able to harmonize with you. That's musical. That's called playing in tune. That's when everybody agrees that within a certain range a frequency, the sound waves will be played by each and every one of us coming together as one new combined way. I know probably my musician friends will just chime in as well and correct me on my physics knowledge as well as it pertains to musical performance. However, that's okay. I'm happy to be educated. Really about playing in tune if it comes down to it. If that energy is f making you feel off, the two of you are dissonant. You're not tuned into one another. That's as simple as I can put it in terms of understanding music. You know, how many of you have hit a key on a piano and immediately hear it as being out of tune? You might not be able to define it more clearly than that, but that's what I'm talking about. Or you replicate that sound with two human voices, then you can adjust, come to unison. And all that's what I'm saying spiritually with finding your centrife is that by virtue of you being you, because you are in control of yourself and doing the stuff that you find passionate and therefore living your life, there will be energies gravitate towards you if they already aren't you know. life that will be a harmonious frequency to yours, if not unison. And that while you're living solo, you just keep be being you. You don't think about anything of when or who. You just gotta live your life unbothered by things that you know will happen, but you don't need to have those details clarified for you because it's about the journey. It's about the action. It's about showing up and what you do to make yourself at peace and fulfilled, showing value towards yourself. Goodness knows, there are plenty of people out there who would just as soon take it. They'll take it by expressing themselves in a negative way. Whether consciously or not, they are trying to use your energy as a band-aid to make them feel better. So when you find your passion, it's all about sharing, but also recognizing that sometimes you're better off not. Choosing to not share your energy with those that are exposed to you as thieves of that energy is a well done you. Keep it up. Thanks for being you. Thanks for valuing you. Thanks for sharing some of your energy and listening to this today. I appreciate you. Yeah. Yeah.
