- 1:00SPEAKER_00: I am so grateful you're here, so excited.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Back with another fire episode.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: We are talking about morning routines.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: I love, I'm very, I'm very protective of my morning routine.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: My fiance knows if I don't have my morning routine, like there's just there's no point in the rest of the day.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Like zero.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: My morning routine is so so important, even more important to me than like my night routine or my evening routine, because the morning really sets the tone for the day.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: I'm going to get go through the nitty gritty of my morning routine because I'm obsessed with it.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: It is, it's divine.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: It is incredible.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: What I do, why I do it, some tips for you, um, and all of that kind of stuff.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna go through all of that.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: So hopefully you find this helpful.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: If you have stuff in your morning routine that you think I should add, and you're like, Liv, I think you'd really like this, let me know.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Send me an Instagram DM.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Um, or if you really enjoy this episode as well, I would love for you to share it.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: If you share my podcast episodes, it really helps other people because they discover it, they can get all this really free value and help implement it into their lives, and I can change more lives, right?
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: That is what we are we're here to do.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: We are here to change lives, and you guys know I make these podcasts really value dense, and yeah, I'm excited.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: So let's go ahead and dive into my morning routine.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: So, the number one thing before I get into like the step-by-step is morning routines are so important.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: I tell this all of my clients because it is how the energy for your day is gonna go.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: All right, how you start your morning dictates whether you are the co-creator of your day, whether you the day responds to you, or whether you respond to your day.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: So everything I do is because I am creating the environment, I'm creating the reality for my day through my morning routine.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I am not reacting to the day.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: So that is the most important is like everything I do is consistently nourishing my power and nourishing my energy and nourishing my nervous system.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: As you guys know, your nervous system is the bee's knees.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: If you start your day from an empty cup, you're gonna feel like shit midway through the day, at the end of the day, week after week.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: You're gonna be easily triggered, you're going to be angry, you're going to be upset, worn down, gut health issues, physical symptoms, pain, like you name it, it fix your morning routine and watch how much your life changes, right?
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: So, number one, I wake up, naturally, but I do not set an alarm.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: To me, there is nothing worse than a blaring alarm going off in the morning.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know about you, but like your nervous system jolting to this, like horrible.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Now, if you are someone who like you absolutely need an alarm, A, I would try to get yourself to train your body to wake up.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I've gotten so good where like I can tell my body if I wanted a specific time, like, wake up at 5 30, wake up at 6, and it actually wakes up.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: I've never actually slept in past when I told my body I wanted to wake up.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So tell your body when you want to wake up, but also try to choose a gentler alarm.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: So if you absolutely need an alarm to get up in the morning as you're practicing getting your body in like a rhythm, use something gentle.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Please don't use some sort of blaring fog horn.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Use like, I don't know, birds chirping, some calm music.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: I remember when I my fiance first started setting alarms and he had this blaring fog horn.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: My god, after the first time, I was like, no fucking way in hell.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: There's like no zero chance of that happening now.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I've even gotten him not to use an alarm at all.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: It's taken a few months, but we're there.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: But if you have that alarm, something calm, low volume, so it's not jolting your nervous system.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Because if you jolt your nervous system and respond to that blaring alarm first thing in the morning, you are actually sending glycortisol ramping through your body at a high level because it's it goes with a fight or flight.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: So then you start your day in fight or flight by this blaring alarm.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: So you can use that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: I've also in the past um used those uh what do I call those alarm clocks where the light like naturally shines because in the winter time, if you're listening to this like me and you're in the hemisphere where it's dark now when you wake up, um they have these alarm not alarm clocks, I guess well there's a clock on it, but it shines light.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: I believe the brand is Philips, um, and it worked really well when I body wasn't like habitual waking up, and it kind of mimics sunlight, so it'll wake you up gently.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: It's also actually really good for seasonal affective disorder.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: I think it's like oh a hundred, a hundred and something dollars um on Amazon, probably somewhere else too.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: But that can also be really helpful for not a blaring alarm.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So we do not get up with a blaring alarm.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: We naturally wake up when I do, but like I said, it's fairly early, 6, 6 30, maybe on the weekends, like closer to 7, but normally like anywhere between a quarter to six and like 6 30, it really kind of depends.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So then as I'm waking up in bed, I'm kind of like, ooh, what day is it?
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: It's half an hour time, you don't know the day it is.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: I do gratitude in my head as I'm waking up.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Now, why this is so powerful is that your brain is very susceptible during this state.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: So as you're falling asleep and as you're waking up, your brain waves are very susceptible to reprogramming.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: So I literally think about gratitude before my feet even hit the floor.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: What I'm grateful for, and I choose how I want my day to go.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: So I literally say things, it's going to be an amazing, productive, focused day.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna get everything I need to get done today, and I'm gonna feel nourished with my energy.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know, whatever it is.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: You can say it in your head, you can say it out loud.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: As I'm waking up, I choose how I want my day to go.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: You are a manifestor of your reality.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Your reality is not looking how you want it to look, that's on you.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: We can fix it.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: So I choose what I want it to be.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Maybe look at the time, but I don't go on my phone.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: So it's either like it's on do not assert airplane mode, kind of whatever you want to call it.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: There's no notifications.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: I'm not responding.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: So I'm not the first thing I do in the day is not responding to other people.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Because that would deplete my cut, right?
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: So we kind of leave that.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Snuggle my dog, snuggle my fiance maybe for a few minutes if he's not at the gym.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: I I like I don't know not everyone sleeps with their dog.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: We tried that.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: There's there was a brief period of Kasha not sleeping for like three months, and it was either after that three months of not sleeping through the night, I either brought her in bed or like go, so yes, a little less than ideal, but you know what, she's a snuggle bunny, so maybe I snuggle a bit with a Kasha or my fiance for a few minutes, maybe five, less than five minutes.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: Then I get up.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: First thing I do is I hydrate with Element.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Element has been a ride or die.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: I actually ordered Element on Amazon yesterday.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Was it right here?
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: I ordered raspberry, very good flavor, but I hydrate first thing.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Very, very important because your body is dehydrated when you wake up in the morning.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: So the first thing I do is element to hydrate.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I drink half a liter of water.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: So 500 milliliters of water, drink it before anything else kind of goes into my body.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: I also take L-glutamine at this time.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: L-glutamine is really good for your gut.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: I know there's some misinformation, I think it was TikTok or whatever circulating around about L-glutamine.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: The TikToks you see about L-glutamine are false.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: L-glutamine is really good at rebuilding the gut lining after kind of postpartum and all the things that the hospital had to give me, um, like drug-wise.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: I really wanted to rebuild my gut lining after all those intense drugs.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So um, if you want to listen more about that episode, um, go into there.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: I won't get into it.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: But just like gut support after that, very important.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: So I take my scoop of L-glutamine, I use AOR brand.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: I like to use a really quality L-glutamine.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: Um, so it's like this purple branding, you can't miss it.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: It's literally AOR, the letters.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Um, I use a scoop of L-glutamine in the morning.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna do kind of one round of that.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: So after this tub is done, um, it'll be fine.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: So do that.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: So, drink water, repair my gut.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: It's always important to do that on an empty stomach, and then I make my coffee.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Coffee is like literally my favorite part of the day.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: We do organic, we do decaf.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: A organic coffee is one of the most heavily sprayed things out there.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: One of the most heavily sprayed crops and food, right?
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Corn, coffee, and wheat are kind of like the top ones.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: You need if you're drinking coffee, you need to be drinking organic coffee.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: All right, like if the coffee's not organic, it leads to skin issues, gut issues, um, cognitive dysfunction, hormonal issues, honestly, some of the toxins found in it, like mold and stuff like that.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Um you just want you don't want to.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Like organic coffee.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: Spoiler alert, those espresso pods, not organic.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Those espresso pods, kind of toxic.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Like, I would say it's up there with canola oil, gluten, and non-organic coffee.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: So you want to be having organic coffee, makes a big difference.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: You'll also notice with inorganic coffee that there isn't the same kind of like jitters and crash and kind of like feeling of acidity in your stomach, and like that.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: If you drink non-organic coffee in an empty stomach and it kind of gets gut rot, it's probably due to low quality or like the pesticides and all the shit that's on the coffee, not necessarily the coffee itself.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Actual good quality organic coffee doesn't do that, so notes about that.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: I also drink decaf.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Um, just for like adrenal-wise, I really try to like not skyrocket my adrenals, so I like to have decaf, or sometimes I'll add in like um a little pinch of caffeine.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: I would say like maybe three-quarters decaf, a quarter a little bit, just if I feel like I want a little, uh.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: But other than that, mainly decaf.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I rotate between brands.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: I really like the kicking horse brand.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Um, I like life boost.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: I like I would say those are kind of like the two main ones.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: I like Ezra's pound.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, as long as it's really organic, you have nothing to worry about.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: So I make some organic coffee in my French press.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: It is like this beautiful copper bodum French press.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: It's beautiful.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Um, it's got that shine, it's a vibe.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I choose a mug that I love.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: This is like very intentional.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: I love to drink out of a nice mug.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Like it gives me so much pleasure in my morning coffee.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Honestly, it is like it's probably my favorite thing of the day.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we have that.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: Now, either my fiance will go to the gym kind of on his own, or we'll go together later, so it kind of depends.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: This is where the order of things can shift.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: So I do the same things every day, but this order might shift.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: So I'll kind of talk you through that.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: So then either I have coffee with him and he'll he makes regular, not but like full caffeinated coffee.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: Uh, I could not.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: One time I ran out of decaffeinated, had some of his.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: Holy! No, way too much on the heart.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Like, once you actually wean off of caffeine, it's incredible like what the full caffeine will do to your system and like the anxious feeling in your chest, kind of like that palpitations that racing.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: No, thank you.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Um, by the way, if you are looking to cut down your caffeine, do not go cold turkey because that will give you severe migraines.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: I really weaned down from doing like three quarters, one quarter, half and half, and like each week kind of reduced it.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Um, just kind of side note there.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: So if he is here with me, we will chat about life.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: Honestly, sometimes, usually about life and business things.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna be honest, it's a very like activating, like conscious kind of talk about things and how we want the day to go, what we have going on, if we need anything from each other, um, if we can support each other in any kind of way, and we use that time to kind of like just chit-chat and connect a bit before we start our days.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: Um again, that's if he's not going to the gym.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: If he goes to the gym and I have like the mornings on my own, which maybe they're like 50-50 in the week-ish, some weeks 60-40.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, it all really depends.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: I will listen or read something that's very activating.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: So I love my glow level 2 activations, to be honest, like they are divinely channeled, so those are really good.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Um, or I'll read like some pages of a book, either on spirituality, on wealth, on money mindset, um, or I'll watch like a YouTube video of someone I'm really interested in.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: I know you guys are gonna want like recommendations.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: So any kind of like Abraham or Esther Hicks, like either videos or books, um any kind of books on like quantum leaping, but like the physics of it, I really enjoy understanding the physics of spirituality, about like atoms and particles and the quantum and neurons and stuff like that.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of like my geeky nerdiness coming out.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: Um, but anything that's really going to expand my brain is what I like to do.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: Um, I just got my friend Christina Rice's book in Pain, Love, and Purpose.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: So that also has some really great like poems in there.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: It's just like a great way to start the day.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: So if he's not here, I'll either listen and watch or read something.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna have coffee, and then I meditate um uh using binaural beats.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: So this is like a non-negotiable for me.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Meditation has to happen because meditation helps land me in for the day.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: It is like to me, brushing your teeth, I would say just as important.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: So if you are not familiar with meditation, I mean I have a free abundance meditation on the podcast, go ahead and grab that.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Um, if you're in my programs, I have so many reprogramming tracks and meditations in there for you.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: So have them on your phone, have them easy access and start your day with them.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: Highly recommend.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: I just do the binary beats versus listening to a voice because I'm really trying to connect with my higher self, and now that I've meditating for a long time, I don't really need someone talking to me during them.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: Um, so I kind of just use binary beats.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: So I will choose binary beats or like frequency, usually one of those feggio frequencies, depending on what I feel like I need.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: So there's 852 hertz or 963 hertz, I would say 852 is my most common one, um, or around like the 400 hertz range or the 900 range.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: I don't really do the lower ones, I'll do one of those, and I just have that on.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: And the meditation for me is really about focusing on connecting with source, opening my channel, opening my heart, and connecting with my higher self, and really bringing and harnessing that energy kind of back down.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: And what that really does is it really expands my energy field.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: This is also where I protect my energy field and kind of solidify that in for the day.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I have my bubble, um, I connect my records also at this time.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: So I'll spend a lot of it like not asking for anything or not asking for information, kind of just sitting there and receiving.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: I think that's also very important is that not putting pressure on when you go in, trying to receive information.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: So I go in, I connect, invite source in, usually to my heart.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: And as I've kind of done this more and more, it happens very rapidly.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: So I can get from like dropping in to feeling source, universe, god, whatever you want to call it, usually in under 30 seconds, maybe max a minute, but usually under 30 seconds, I'll kind of get to that bliss void state where like I can feel the expansion of my consciousness kind of feeling floating around in the astral, etc.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Um, then I will journal how I want my day to go, kind of like a more expanded version of what I said in my head.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: I was kind of like groggy waking up from bed.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: So I will journal how I want the day to go, and then I will also channel a message that my guides have for me.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: So I kind of just do free scripting writing of like what they want to say to me, any guidance they have for me that day if I have a question about something, or you know, asking them like what would you like me to share today?
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: What can what wants to come through today?
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: Um, so either specific or general questions, but gratitude for how I want the day to go.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: I journal, I channel with emotion, invite source in and really connect.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: So that's that.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: With that, I'll also use sometimes some oils.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: So I like this Kate's Magic anointing oil.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: You can't see because I'm recording, but it's the Isis and Rebirth, Vanilla, and Rose, andor the one from Raw, and Raw is like an Egyptian god.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: So this is a sacred perfume, it's Reiki charged again.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: It's by Kate's Magic, which I really I love, I love, love, love um her stuff.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: I wish we could get in Canada, so like I kind of savor it.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: So I'll do that, I'll journal.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Usually, sometimes then I'll end up getting a lot of downloads.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: So I might write some stuff down for a program, um, an activation that I want to do, whether I want to share something inside the portal.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Which, by the way, if you haven't joined our free group, I will leave those links down below to join the free community.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: So join that um, or any kind of like other downloads that I get, I kind of jot those down as well during this time.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Then it is time for movement.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: So three times a week I train at the gym, which means like weightlifting.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Um, so three times a week it's that and walking, and then the rest of the time it's just walking.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: So I only work out, quote unquote, or like train three times a week, the rest of the day is walking.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: So I walk every day.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Um, and then yeah, like I said, I train three days a week.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: I don't make my own workouts, I'm just gonna completely like say that.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: So um I just follow what my trainer tells me to do.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Um, I have a workout A and I have workout B, and I alternate between those.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: So it's like A B A one week and then B A B the next week, and we kind of just go.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: I love that because she creates the masculine structure for my feminine to flow.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: I'm not an expert in fitness, she is, and I tell her these are my goals, she makes a treat, uh not treatment plan, uh a workout plan, uh training plan, and then I follow that.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'll either go to the gym and then come home and walk a caution and go on my walk, or if it's not a training day, I'll just go on a walk and love my morning walks, my morning walks, or like my fire time.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: If you are in any of my programs or one-on-one client or inside the portal, you know I get all of these downloads as I'm walking.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: Also, when you're a one-on-one, like I'm always connected to your energy.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: So as I'm walking, I'll just think of like I'm gonna use a non-name of one of my clients, like Jane, for example.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Let's say her name's Jane.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: Jane will pop into my head and I get all these insights and downloads for her, and I'll just start like boxering, like, blah, and they're like, oh my god, and it's like mind-blowing.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Because when you're moving, when you're walking, there's lots of energy flowing.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: So, this is a great time for me to get more downloads, receive more things, think about clients.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I listen to my boxer messages on my walk, sometimes I don't because I want the mental space for myself.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: During this time, this is where I listen to activations.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: If, for example, I wasn't reading or watching something in the morning because I was talking to my fiance, this is when I'll do that.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: I'll either then do more of that if I was also doing that in the morning, or I'll listen to a podcast or kind of Christmas music or any kind of music that just makes me feel high.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: I wanna say high vibe, but like puts me in a good mood.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: So right now it's been Christmas music, or it's kind of like more activations, or again, anything like on the science.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: In terms of podcasts, because I know there's gonna be questions, I haven't been listening to too many podcasts lately.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: I've been focusing more on either my own kind of space in my head, um, or like I said, the kind of like the more nitty-gritty science stuff, but the ones I do really like, I love Christina Rice's, like, yeah, she's my friend, but I've also been listening to her podcast for years and years and years now.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: So that one I'll listen to once in a while.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: I'll listen to the skinny confidential depending on who's on.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: I really like to, yeah, I think those are the only people I oh sometimes manifestation babe.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Trying to think of all the people I've listened to recently.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: I always listen to my friend Kelly's podcast.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: I listen to a lot of my friends' podcasts too, but um, yeah, I don't really listen to too many podcasts like lately because I focus more on my own energy, unless it's like a purely educational podcast, if that makes sense.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: So I like to try to like keep my energy clean if I can.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Um, and so I go on a walk.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: I like to try to get an average of like 10 to 14,000 steps a day, closer to 14,000 on average per day.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Um, so this is where I get like a bulk of my steps in for the day because if I don't walk a bunch in the morning, the next thing I know the day is gone and I haven't gotten a ton of steps in, so I always try to get my steps in in the morning.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: I also feel better, it gets energy moving, um, and everything like that.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: And then I come home and I shower.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: Now, this is important in the shower.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: I use contrast showers.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: I really like a contrast shower in the morning.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: Now it's getting colder, so it's a bit harder to do contrast showers just because it's cold outside.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: And but contrast showers are very good for you, for your nervous system.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: It shows your brain that you can do hard things.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: So I'll do that.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: And I also really like to create a shower vibe, whether it is like a good smell.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Bath products, eucalyptus in the shower.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: I kind of have a shower, but I'm very quick in the shower.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I'm even quicker than my fiance.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Like, if I'm not washing my hair, it is under five minutes, 100%.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Um, and I don't only wash my hair once a week.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: So, what I if you want to know what I use in the shower, I have a products that I love and by myself, that's what it's called.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: So go back to that episode and listen to that.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: So I'll shower, get ready for the day, like put on outfit, whatever I need, hair, fluff it up, a little bit of makeup, and then breakfast.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Breakfast is very important.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: It is literally like how you break the fast.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: So I always make sure I have at least 25 grams of protein.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: This is very important, and it's high fiber.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: You need protein to start the day.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: I find this is one of the major gaps I see in people's health, in the kind of like what they're doing, um, is the fact that they don't have enough protein in the morning.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: They have like a big bowl of oats, which is just sugar, which is going to be trouble for your gut, it's gonna be trouble for kind of blood sugar balancing and trouble for any kind of anxiety as well.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: So that I really avoid.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: I do high protein.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Um, and sometimes people think, well, I have eggs and so it's high protein, but just keep in mind that there's like math, there's like 10 to 12 grams of protein in two eggs.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: So, unless you're having what's the math on that?
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Like, four to five eggs, you're not actually having enough protein in the morning.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: So I always make sure, again, 25 grams of protein, high fiber, perfect way to start the day.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of like my morning routine.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: Then I'll sit down, get to get to work, um, kind of whatever I have going on for the day.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: But the reason that this morning routine is so powerful is that everything I'm doing is I'm consistently creating my power.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: So even though the order might slightly change depending on like whether my fiance somewhere that I'm training, everything I do kind of still gets done in the day or in the morning.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, unless of course it's raining, and then if it's like torrential downpour in the rain, like I'm not walking in the rain that day.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: But other than that, everything else kind of really stays the same and is super important because you want to be the co-creator of your day.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: If you find that you are responding to the day, chances are whatever you're doing in your morning routine, or maybe you don't have a morning routine where you are creating the power for your day, and that's normally where I kind of see everyone messing up.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: So really make sure that whatever you're doing in the morning, that it is setting the tone for your day, and you are choosing how you want to feel that day, and you are nourishing your energy and your power first.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: It's like bolstering your nervous system for the day.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: You want to do that first, right?
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: So I hope you guys enjoyed this episode.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Gave you insight into kind of what I do in the morning, why I find it helpful, um, why I do what I do.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Again, none of this is rushed.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: All right, I will say that.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: I give my I give myself tons of space in the morning because I don't ever want to be rushed.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: I don't want everyone to be rushed trying to get through coffee, run to the gym, come back, walk the dog, go on my walk, come home, shower, activating.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: Like, no.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Space.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Less is more.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: So if you feel like you don't have tons of space, it's better for you to do less, but to have space and not be rushed than to try to fit in 50 different things and be rushed because that's not gonna be good for your feminine or for your nervous system.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, I hope you enjoyed this episode.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: I would love it if you shared it or let me know kind of like what's in your morning routine, what you want to add, or what you think what you think I should add if you're something that you've been loving.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: I'd love to hear, like, I don't know, a podcast, a something.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Let me know.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Um, and with that being said, I will see you guys in the next episode.
