- Week 6 Fantasy Football Start Sit Advice: Week six is here, injuries, buys, everything in between. Your lineup is looking disgusting, but don't worry about it. Today we're covering who you should start, who you should sit, so stay tuned. Well, welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. Today we're taking a look at my starts and sits for week six in the NFL season. We've got four teams on a bye this week Bengals, the Lions, the Vikings, and the Dolphins. There are some big name players on those four teams. So your lineup is definitely going to have some holes in it this week. You've got to really hit that waiver wire. Hopefully you already did, and hopefully your lineup will be set, ready to rock. But if you've got any start sick questions, let me know down in the comments below and let's jump into it. Starting off with the Thursday night game between the Broncos and the Seahawks, this one should be fun. two good defenses, two offenses that have been up and down. I think that it'll probably be an okay game all around. But we we will jump right into it though. Sam Darnold, we are gonna go ahead and fire him up as a low end quarterback, too. If you're in a two quarterback league, I think that he is a fine start this week. I know that Denver defense is a little intimidating and being on the road could be a bit of a problem, but I'm gonna go ahead and trust Sam Darnold. George Helani, he is just fumbling his job away. I don't know what's going on there. But Emmanuel Wilson, he is a bona fide start until we get the return of Zach Charbonnet. Head coach Mike McDonald has been very adamant that Charbonnet will not play this week. I would assume that they'll take that long week after this game to get him ready to go for week seven. But until then, Emmanuel Wilson. Deserves to be in there at in your starting lineup. Jackson Smith and Jigba, same thing. He was a little banged up in week five, had that ankle really wrapped up, but played through it. I haven't heard anything as of the recording of this video, so he should be a start going forward. AJ Barner was we're sitting down. On the Denver side of things, I really don't want any part of this Denver offense right now. Nick's is up and down playing against a tough defense. I mean, really, you could make the same argument you made for Sam Darnold. Both of them could be low end starts. Both of them could be sits. J.K. Dobbins, I think probably finds the end zone, but he's not somebody I'm rushing out to start. If I need a flex play, I could throw him in there. RJ Harvey, we're sitting down. He's supposed to be getting the password. He didn't really do a whole lot in week five against San Francisco. and then Jalen Waddle, if you need a flex play, I guess throw him in there. Not really any better pass catching options for Denver, so Waddle's gotta pick it up at some point. Over to London, the Sunday morning game between the Texans and the Jaguars. Stroud, we're gonna sit for now. I think this Jacksonville defense is is pretty good. We're gonna just hold off on Stroud for another week. He's heating up, but we're gonna be put patient on that one. David Montgomery obviously got banged up. He will be out with this game with that groin issue. Woody Marks, I think, can jump right into your flex spot, maybe even a low end RB two this week. Nico Collins is a start. Marvin Harrison Jr., we're gonna hold off and see how he fits in this offense. Still, still got to be learning the playbook, right? I'm sure they're gonna have some dedicated passes in there where they just tell him what to run and where to run to, and CJ Stroud will try to put it on the money. Wouldn't even be surprised to see him get a kind of a pity touchdown here, a up yours Arizona type touchdown. But I'm not rushing to put him into my starting lineup. Dalton Schultz, he's been pretty bad. We're gonna stay away from him. On the Jacksonville side of things, I really like this Jacksonville offense. Lawrence, Tootin, Washington, and Strange are all starts for me this week, but I would temper expectations on all of them against that Houston defense. Brian Thomas Jr. and Jacoby Myers, I'm gonna I'm gonna hold off on those guys. Just don't think that they see the volume that they need to see to be consistent, reliable fantasy starters for you. Over to the best offense in the history of the game of football, the Chicago Bears, or so they thought they were gonna be. Caleb Williams hopefully is gonna be back for this game as of the recording of this video. Haven't heard a whole lot, but they've been talking about week six kind of being the target of where they want to get him back. If he's back, I'm gonna go ahead and sit him until I see it for a week. But I do think that that will help this offense in getting him back. Tyson Bajan has not looked great over these past two weeks. So if Bajan is the guy, I would temper expectations a little bit on the pass catcher. Certainly DeAndre Swift, we're gonna go ahead and start. Kyle Manungay haven't heard if he'll be back this week or not, but obviously was out in week five with that turf toe. Luther Burden and Roma Dunze, I have as sits. But if you don't have better options, I mean they are There are okay options to throw out there. Odunze gets a lot of snaps, a lot of routes. Burden gets a lot of designed plays his way. Somebody's got to pop off at some point. And then same with Colson Lovlin. If you've got a better option, go ahead and start them over him. But Lovelin's got to get going at some point. He's too talented. We've seen it in the past with him. He will get going at some point. I don't know if it'll be this week, but for me, I'm trying to find a better option than him. On the Atlanta side of things, Michael Penix. He got banged up in that game in week five. Haven't heard if he will be in there or if it will be Tua. I think I'm gonna sit both of them, even though Penix has been pretty good. I'm just gonna sit both of them out of caution. Brian Robinson or B. John Robinson will start. Brian Robinson will be a sit. Drake London is a start in Kyle Pitts. We're going to stay clear of him. Really, the only parts that I want are Bijan and Drake London. They have been pretty good over these last three or four games. Over to the Ravens and the Browns, Lamar Jackson hopefully will be back this week from that ankle injury that cost him week five. Tyler Huntley stepped in and didn't look the greatest in that game against Atlanta. Hoping Lamar is back and will open up this offense. Derek Henry, Zay Flowers are both starts regardless. Rashad Bateman, we're sitting, and Mark Andrews, we will sit. Mark Andrews, I mean, he's just kind of a hit or miss. I I think that he's a low end tight end too, but he could pop up into that low end tight end one in any given week. That offense is certainly good enough. All it takes is a couple passes and maybe he's got a couple touchdowns out of it. So if you don't have a better option than Mark Andrews or you want to stream him, I'm okay with it, but I'm not rushing to throw Andrews into my lineup. I do know with the four bye weeks and some injuries that some lineups are going to get disgusting. And Mark Andrews There's definitely worse options than Mark Andrews. On the Cleveland side of things, Deshaun Watson is a sit this week for me. Quinshawn Judkins. Last I heard was in a boot. Haven't heard any new updates on him. So we're gonna keep an eye. If he is healthy, I don't know that you're in a boot one day and then you're healthy a few days later. So I'm gonna be very, very cautious to start him. He is a very low-end RB2 mid-tier flex play for me this week if he is out there. Denzel Boston. I think I'm starting him every week. I mean, he's got the he's shown that he has that potential any given week to go off for a touchdown, a long touchdown. I think he's a fine flex play moving forward. Casey Concepcion was injured in that game in week five against the Giants, had that concussion, bad, bad hit to the head. Haven't heard a whole lot about him, but we're gonna go ahead and hold off on him for now. Harold Fannon Jr. will throw into our starting lineups. To the Titans and the Colts, this Tennessee offense is not very good, and they are mainly held back by their quarterback Cam Ward. He is not touching my lineup. Tony Pollard, I've talked about Tony Pollard quite a bit being a kind of a low end, stinky RB2 that you're never really loving to throw into your lineup. The same is true here. I I don't want to put him in there, but I know there's a lot of guys out right now. So if you have to. There's certainly worse options, but there's also far better options. So I'm not trying to put Tony Pollard in my lineup, but if you have to, I get it. Carnell Tate, I think you can still put him in at flex. I think he's got a good matchup this week against the Colts secondary. He seems to get a lot of targets. I know last week, I think you can kind of throw that in the dumpster against a good Houston defense. I wouldn't look too much into that. He was kind of starting to heat up before that game, and I think he'll kind of return to that form here against Indianapolis. And then Wandell Robinson, we're also sitting down. Daniel Jones is a sit. Keenan Allen is a sit over on the Indianapolis side. And Jonathan Taylor, Josh Downs, and Tyler Warren are all starts for me. Josh Downs, I've got down for a flex. Over to the Jets and the Patriots. This one should be pretty fun. Geno Smith, we're gonna sit. Brees Hall, we might get back this week. Haven't heard a whole lot, but if not, Braylon Allen is a certified RB2, a touchdown magnet, big play waiting to happen. Love to have Braylon Allen in my starting lineup. Garrett Wilson is a start. Ed Nye Mitchell haven't heard when he will be back. And then Kenyon Sadiq was banged up in that game in week five. So we'll see when we get those two guys back. Over on the New England side of things, things are starting to really heat up for Drake May and this Patriots offense. After getting kind of dog walked for the last few weeks, Drake May has really turned it around the last two weeks. he should be getting AJ Brown back maybe as soon as this week. We'll see. But that should certainly help this Patriots offense even more. They just lost Trebion Henderson, who will be out a few more weeks with his injury that he sustained in week five. That should really bump up Ramondre Stevenson and should be an every week start now for this Patriots offense. Romeo Dobbs, DiMario Douglas, and Hunter Henry are all sits for me right now. I know that Douglas had a big game in week five, but I feel like you're just chasing it if you try to start him in your lineup this week. Two weeks ago it was Romeo Dobbs. Last week it was Douglas. You just never know who you're gonna get as a pass catcher, who's gonna go off for this Patriots team. So I'm just steering clear if I have better options. For the Saints and the Giants, this one could be a shootout down the stretch. We'll see how Tyler Shuck looks. He's got that injured left hand. I think it's a broken hand, actually. He's been really trying to tough it out. Last week was a very tough matchup against Minne Minneapolis. That's not who they played. They played Minnesota. Very tough matchup. Tough game there for them, but I'm gonna put him back in my starting lineup. It'll be interesting to see how he does against this Giants defense that really likes to bring pressure, but I'll I'll trust him. He's been a top 10 quarterback this year multiple times. And I think he gets back to form a little bit here in this one. Alvin Kamara, Kendra Miller. I don't know what's going on with the backfield there. Nobody really does. It's disgusting. I'm trying to stay away from both of those guys if I can. Chris Olave, Devon Vele. And Juwan Johnson, I think are all good options for pass catchers for the Saints offense. And then over on the New York side of things, I really don't want any part other than Cam Scattaboo, Malik Neighbors, and Isaiah Likely. And I think that's probably going to be true going forward for the rest of this season. To the Panthers and the Eagles, man, this one would be really, really fun if the Eagles were at full strength. I think it still is going to be a pretty good game. This Panthers team coming off a bye. Had looked very, very good through the first month of the season. We'll see what that bye week did to them. But they should get Jalen Coker back for this game. and if he is back, he is in my starting lineup along with Bryce Young, Chuba Hubbard, Tet McMillan, and Darren Waller. I'm good starting all of them. that Panthers offense looked unstoppable through four weeks, and I think they're gonna pick right back up here against a tough Philadelphia defense. Jalen Hurts, I don't want to start him, but I think that there's some guys out this week and You might need to start him this week. Saquon Barkley still haven't heard a whole lot about his hamstring issue, but I'm gonna go ahead and assume he's out this week, which leaves room for Damian Pierce to be the RB1 for Philadelphia. I'm not rushing to start him this week, though. Devonta Smith, we may get back this week from his hamstring issue. If you do, I think you go ahead and start him. They need some big plays, they need some good players on this offense, and Devonta Smith should slate right back in as that wide receiver one as soon as he is back and healthy. Mikai Lemon, but Dontavian Wicks and Darius Cooper. I'm sitting all of them. I know Cooper scores a touchdown or two touchdowns every game, but you just can't rely on that. I mean, he's not getting the volume of targets that you really truly need. You're really just banking on a big play big play touchdown if you put him in your lineup. But Dallas Goddard, I think, is a guy that you could put in at that tight end position and get seven to ten targets every single week right now with how this offense looks. I'm okay starting Dallas Goddard. To the Steelers and the Buccaneers, Aaron Rodgers. My goodness, he has been lighting it up. I'm gonna put him in my lineup. Rico Dowdle should be back this week, but it is the Jalen Warren show. I am starting him. I'll start Metcalf. Jeremy Bernard, I'm not quite ready to start yet, but man, he looked really, really good in week five when Roman Wilson went down. Really excited to see what Jeremy Bernard can do for the Steelers offense. He is kind of a stash and hold for me right now. If you picked him up off waivers this week, Be excited. I think he's got some big play potential and this Steelers offense definitely needs that. Pat Fryermouth, he's looked very, very good. I'll I'll put him in my starting lineup as well. On the Tampa Bay side of things, not sure if we're getting Baker back this week or not, but Jalen Daniels looked pretty good in week five. We'll go ahead and sit him down. Bucky Irving, we will start. Omeka Abuka, I think is a mid-tier flex play for me this week. Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst were sitting, and K Dotten we are sitting as well. Cardinals and Rams, Jacoby Brissett looked very, very bad against a bad Lions defense last week. Tyler Algier, Jeremiah Love. I don't know what's going on with this Cardinals team. I thought they were gonna be pretty good just a couple weeks ago. Like I know in terms of NFL football and wins and losses, like they probably still weren't gonna be a very good team, but I thought their offense could at least compete. And then last week they just laid an absolute turd out there without Marvin Harrison Jr. Maybe he was the key. I don't know. But they look terrible against the Lions defense. Michael Wilson is really the only one outside of Trey McBride that I would start. And even Michael Wilson, I have my worries about going forward this year. but I'll start Wilson and I'll start McBride. Over on the Los Angeles side, who can Nakua, they just look to throw him the ball every time. I don't know what's going on. Devontae Adams saved his day with a couple touchdowns, but we'll go ahead and start Stafford, Kyron, Puka, Devontae, and Tyler Higby in that Rams offense. For the Chargers and the Chiefs, this one should be a fun one as well. Bad Chargers team looking to come in and spoil an undefeated Chiefs season right now. Justin Herbert, we're sitting As well as the entire Chargers offense. I don't know what you're doing if you're rolling any of these Chargers into your starting lineup. I mean, things must be very, very desperate if you need to start any of these Chargers players. They're not reliable. They haven't looked good. I don't want any part of them in my lineup right now on the road against a good Chiefs defense. to the Ch Kansas City side of things, Mahomes, Walker, Rice, and Kelsey are all starts for me. Xavier Worthy, we're not gonna jump on that train yet. But a train that I am willing to jump on is the Cyrus Allen hype train. He got all the hype in the offseason. And now maybe it's time. I mean, as of the recording of this video, they have signed Justin Watson, and that's the only other receiver that they have picked up since losing Taekwond Thornton. Wide receiver was already a position that was of concern for this Chiefs team. Maybe Cyrus Allen's actually going to get a shot in this game. We'll see. I'm definitely not starting him, but if you got him, hold him. If you don't, you might want to start picking him up. Over to the Bills and the Raiders, Josh Allen, James Cook, DJ Moore. If he is back, keep an eye on that injury, his shoulder issue that kept him out in week five. Maybe he's back here in week six. We'll go ahead and start him if he's back. if he is not back, Keon Coleman slots into that role, Khalil Shakir. I am not looking to start him ever. I mean, he is good for like eight to ten points every week, and that's about it. Dalton Kincaid, I have down as a start, just because I think that it's a very Disgusting week this week, but I really don't want Dalton Kincaid in my lineup at all. He has been not good over these last three weeks. Over to the Las Vegas side of things, Cousins, Genty, and Bowers are really the only ones I want to start on this Raiders team. And even Genty has not looked great. He looks like a guy who was hurt, but if the Raiders are putting him out there, I'll put him out there because he's gonna get the opportunities and the touchdowns should be there for him. To Sunday night, the Packers and the Cowboys. Prescott, Javante, CeeDee Lamb, Pickens, and Ferguson. We're going to sit Ferguson. We're going to keep an eye on CeeDee Lamb. Had that quad issue in week five, but should be good to go here in this one against the Packers. I want all the pieces in that offense. I want all the pieces in the Green Bay offense as well. Jordan Love, Marshawn Lloyd, crazy, but I will start Marshawn Lloyd. Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Tucker Kraft. I want all the pieces. I think that that's going to be a very, very fun shootout type Sunday night football. Give me all the pieces in that one. And rounding out week six on Monday Night Football is the Commanders and the 49ers. Jaden Daniels will go ahead and throw him in there. Gives you that rushing upside. Jacori Krosky Merritt, if you don't have better options, he's a solid flex play, I think. Terry McLaurin could be a good flex play as well. Stephon Diggs was injured in week five. We'll see if he is back here in week six or not. in Antonio Williams, I'm keeping an eye on, but I'm not ready to start him in any leagues just yet. On the San Francisco side of things, Brock Purdy has been very, very good. Quarterback number two so far on the season. Christian McCaffrey, quietly a good season, maybe not to the CMC standards, but still a solid RB1 right now for a lot of teams. Mike Evans had a big, big week in week five. And then Debo Samuel left with that hamstring issue. Probably gonna miss a few weeks at the the least. Didn't look good, doesn't sound good. Debo's gonna be out for a little bit of time. But then George Kittle, we're throwing in our lineup as well. Should be a good, fun Monday night football matchup. But that's all I've got time for today, guys. That is every matchup here in week six, the starts and sits. Hopefully I answered your questions. But if you've got more, let me know down below. I'll try to get those answered.
