⚡Gold and Silver Investor⚡- You won't Believe THIS! - (Precious Metals Price NEWS Update) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

Silver, gold and the precious metal mining stocks are in an
• 0:04
unbelievable position right now. Unfortunately, that's happening
• 0:09
because of the the world. The wheels seem to be falling
• 0:13
off the bus of the world. We're going to talk about in
• 0:15
this video like 28 reasons why we can be optimistic about the
• 0:20
silver and gold price. Big news from Trump.
• 0:23
  Things are really happening there.
• 0:25
We'll talk about that in the latter half of our time
• 0:28
together, but we got a bunch of small stories that are big
• 0:32
stories that add up to a very, very optimistic future for the
• 0:36
price of silver and gold. The thing I'm most optimistic
• 0:39
about is the fact that you've decided to join me here today.
• 0:42
Thank you for choosing to be here You're important, your time
• 0:46
is important. Please subscribe to the channel,
• 0:48
give the video a thumbs up. You can read the comments.
• 0:51
You can see that everybody doesn't agree with me and that's
• 0:54
OK leave a comment in the comment section.
• 0:57
But let's talk about silver first, because this is getting
• 1:00
very interesting. We know the silver deficit, we
• 1:03
know the demand for silver's going through the roof.
• 1:06
But what are we hearing from the world's biggest silver producer,
• 1:11
the world's biggest silver miner, which will indicate to us
• 1:15
that we could be in for even better times in the silver
• 1:18
market? Let's take a look at this.
• 1:19
I was shocked to hear this. And what we are seeing is from
• 1:24
Silver Academy. Silver on the brink.
• 1:26
The world's most critical metal faces eminent extinction as
• 1:30
mines can't keep up with soaring demand.
• 1:33
But here's the interesting part guys, and I'm going to give you
• 1:36
the reason why this is so important.
• 1:39
The decline in the world's largest silver miner begins.
• 1:44
Fresnillo PLC reported 12% decline in first half 2025
• 1:52
silver production. Global silver mines supply to
• 1:55
continue declining in the years ahead.
• 1:58
And that's from Stephen Saint Angelo.
• 2:00
And as you can see on this chart right here, which shows the
• 2:04
first half of 2021-2022, 2023-2024, and then 2025 fell
• 2:13
off a Cliff. This is the world's biggest
• 2:19
silver miner, the world. There's nobody that makes more
• 2:22
silver than Fresnio. Their output is going down, not
• 2:27
staying level, going down. We already know that there
• 2:31
happens to be a a physical silver deficit.
• 2:34
There has been for like the last five years.
• 2:37
What does that tell us? Right.
• 2:39
  There's a reason why we're not, I say, excited.
• 2:42
We're just talking about the facts that when the world's
• 2:44
biggest silver miner reports a massive decrease in production,
• 2:48
that bodes well for the the demand is going to keep going
• 2:51
up. The supply is going to keep
• 2:53
going down. OK, let's move on here in the
• 2:56
silver shorts are still high. We're going to go out to Arcadia
• 3:01
Economics. Our good friend Chris Marcus.
• 3:05
I did a screenshot of this one day.
• 3:07
This was in his. He has a sub stack that you can
• 3:10
subscribe to. One final note is that the
• 3:12
silver short position held by the banks actually did decrease
• 3:16
last week by 693 contracts over the past reporting week.
• 3:22
Remember, big short position could lead to a big short
• 3:26
squeeze to a net short position of 48,707 contracts, which is
• 3:32
not far off from the all time record and means that the short
• 3:36
position is still on the high side right now.
• 3:40
So these big bullion banks, these big players out there in
• 3:44
the world of silver, the paper, the Comex in the LBMA, the
• 3:48
London Bullion Market Association in London, England,
• 3:52
who has suppressed the price of silver for decades and decades,
• 3:55
they still have a massive short position.
• 3:59
What that means is they sold silver, OK, and at some point
• 4:04
they're going to need to buy it back to fulfill their contract.
• 4:07
That can create a short squeeze. And we still are near
• 4:11
historically very high levels when it comes to the short
• 4:15
position that those fine people at the electronic and paper
• 4:18
exchanges have right now. OK, let's move over.
• 4:22
Let's talk about, think about this.
• 4:25
Think about this when the generalist investor starts to
• 4:28
see all the money that's being made, I mean, the miners are
• 4:32
making gobs and gobs of money. Not only is that going to bring
• 4:36
the generalist investor into the precious metal mining stocks,
• 4:40
but it will also bode well for the actual metals themselves.
• 4:45
Excuse me, silver and gold. We're going to take a look at
• 4:49
some crazy data. It is crazy we we've not even
• 4:53
begun to see the flow of money from the generalist investors
• 4:58
into the precious metal sector. And when that happens, it will
• 5:01
be crazy if you believe that the price of silver is headed
• 5:05
higher. If you love wonderful silver
• 5:07
products, check this out. It's a 5 oz silver bar from our
• 5:12
channel sponsor First Mint. First Mint is a mint located in
• 5:16
Las Vegas, NV, USA. This is made in the USA minted
• 5:21
products, but what's interesting is that they're owned by First
• 5:25
Majestic Silver, Keith Newmeyer's juggernaut silver
• 5:28
mining company. So First Mint gets their silver
• 5:31
from First Majestic who mines it in Mexico, sends it to Las Vegas
• 5:37
where it's minted into world class silver bullion products.
• 5:41
They have beautiful all unique rounds bars.
• 5:45
You need to check them out here. We'll run out to their website
• 5:48
quickly and see what first meant.
• 5:51
What, what are they showing for us right now?
• 5:54
That's the Year of the Dragon coin.
• 5:58
That's the Buffalo round with the Indian that I absolutely
• 6:01
love. There's their new Las Vegas
• 6:04
round that I've been showing you guys, and there's their silver
• 6:06
bars, firstmeant.com. Great prices, great selection,
• 6:11
free shipping on orders over $199, and there's a discount
• 6:16
code. I'm going to look you in the eye
• 6:18
when we say this VIPRB. That'll get you a little
• 6:22
discount as well. Thank you, First Men, for
• 6:24
sponsoring Ron Spaceman. But what about these profits
• 6:27
being made by the mining companies that are going to
• 6:29
bring eyeballs to the entire precious metal sector?
• 6:34
Let's run out here and take a look at what we learned from our
• 6:40
friend Tavi Costa. There we go.
• 6:45
Sorry about that. OK, gold producers, margins
• 6:48
updated. We're living through what could
• 6:51
be described as the golden age of mining.
• 6:53
Yet it's striking to see that many mining stocks still trade
• 6:57
as a gold were at $2000 an ounce.
• 7:00
And take a look at this chart, guys.
• 7:02
OK. The blue line is the cost for
• 7:06
the mining companies to get the gold out of the ground.
• 7:09
The yellow line is the gold price.
• 7:12
Do you see how incredible this is right now?
• 7:15
I mean, you know, we kind of we were in this like smaller zone
• 7:19
down here of profit. Look at this, look at this
• 7:23
  profit. That's profit margin.
• 7:25
Again, the reason why we want to recognize this is because when
• 7:29
the generalist investors come to the mining stocks, they're also
• 7:33
likely going to have money flowing into the metals as well.
• 7:38
And a lot of you are like me and also own not only metals, but
• 7:41
the but the precious metal mining stocks.
• 7:44
All right, let's go back out. We're all over the place today,
• 7:47
but man, we got some interesting things to look at right now.
• 7:51
We're going to talk about just thinking about the gold price.
• 7:56
And again, the gold price will have a major, major impact on
• 8:00
the silver price. And when we look at the the
• 8:04
amount of the price of gold as a ratio to to the US Treasury,
• 8:11
gold reserves currently account to a mere 2% of the outstanding
• 8:15
government debt. So this chart compares, right,
• 8:18
the gold reserves, which is the yellow line down here, OK, this
• 8:25
area down here to the US debt, OK, which is the blue line All
• 8:30
right, there it is right there. Tells us in the in the and look
• 8:33
at how right now, what is it, 2%?
• 8:36
Now, the important thing for us to remember on this one is that
• 8:40
the only thing that can fix this, think about it.
• 8:43
They're not going to bring the blue line down.
• 8:46
Again, the blue line is the national debt, OK?
• 8:49
The only thing they they can't, it's mathematically impossible.
• 8:52
They just aren't going to reduce international debt.
• 8:55
It's only going to get bigger. The only thing that fixes this
• 8:58
graph is this right here, the yellow line, which again is the
• 9:03
value of our gold reserves. Well, there they drew it for us,
• 9:07
the red checkered line going up. And as you can see, right,
• 9:11
historically gold a lot of times was worth as much or more than
• 9:16
the entire national debt. So again, the only thing that
• 9:21
fixes this is higher gold price. And we know that a higher gold
• 9:24
price is going to mean a a higher silver price as well.
• 9:28
What about, let's move over here, what about the amount of
• 9:33
money that the Western investors have in gold?
• 9:38
We know again for with both gold and silver and there is some,
• 9:42
there are signs of improvement in this arena.
• 9:45
But when the Western investor comes back, this is a post from
• 9:48
Jordan Roy Byrne talking about the implied allocation to gold
• 9:53
  remains very low. OK.
• 9:55
This shows the amount of allocation of gold ET by
• 9:59
comparing ETF, the ETF market share of gold ET FS versus the
• 10:04
entire ETF asset universe. And as you can see, again, make
• 10:09
sure we got you guys on the right screen, which we do.
• 10:12
Let's pull out the crayons, OK? That number even as recently as
• 10:18
2011, gold ET FS accounted for almost 8% of the entire ETF
• 10:24
universe. Today, we're not even at 2%.
• 10:29
Look here we are right here. There's 2%.
• 10:31
We're not even at 2%. If that were to go to 8%, just
• 10:37
for example, if my math mathematics are correct, that
• 10:40
would be a four times increase in the amount of money that
• 10:45
would be inside of the of the gold and silver ETF sector, the
• 10:50
gold ETF sector. But again, that would bleed over
• 10:54
into the silver price as well and the silver ETF.
• 10:59
Hey, I want to say thank you one more time for being here.
• 11:01
Seriously, it's a big deal. I always want you to feel
• 11:04
welcome and like you found a home away from home here in the
• 11:07
  basement. One more time.
• 11:08
I'll beg you, please. We've got a special going on.
• 11:12
  Subscriptions. They're free.
• 11:14
We never charge anything. How could I charge you to come
• 11:17
down here and hang out in the basement with me?
• 11:19
Please subscribe to the channel, share and leave a comment.
• 11:22
But think about, OK, let's talk about scary.
• 11:26
This is bad. That's what the thumbnail for
• 11:28
this video said. And it is bad because suddenly
• 11:31
the wheels fell off the bus again.
• 11:33
We talked about it earlier in the week.
• 11:36
Donald Trump is all about volatility.
• 11:39
Donald Trump is all about drama. Donald Trump is all about really
• 11:43
craziness. And I'm not saying that it is no
• 11:46
way a political statement. This is not a political channel.
• 11:50
I'm just reporting the news as I see it.
• 11:52
But guys, things are getting crazy crazy out there.
• 11:55
And when things get crazy, people look for safe havens.
• 11:58
And that's the reason why we want to keep a close tab on
• 12:02
what's going on, because gold and silver are the safe havens.
• 12:06
But let's just talk about some of the craziness that's
• 12:09
unfolding right now. Let's go to story #1.
• 12:14
All right, here we go. Hold on, a little technical
• 12:22
  problem. OK, we're back.
• 12:23
Hopefully you guys can you see me and hear me?
• 12:26
I don't know, looks like we're having some issues here.
• 12:29
Hello. OK, hopefully you guys can see
• 12:32
me and hear me. I'll just keep going here.
• 12:35
This is from the Kobe C letter yesterday.
• 12:36
You know, we had the jobs numbers yesterday that were way
• 12:40
lower than expectations. And then this crazy revision of
• 12:44
250 they wrote down, they reduced the number of jobs that
• 12:49
they had reported in the previous two months by over 1/4
• 12:52
of a million jobs. Unbelievable, unbelievable.
• 12:56
And then you can't make this up. The Kobe C letter says Trump
• 13:00
literally just fired the person who revised the job numbers down
• 13:04
by 258,000. And he's questioning if the July
• 13:07
numbers are real. Calling the 7th 73,000 jobs
• 13:11
number a shock, only to conclude by saying that Jerome Powell
• 13:16
should be put out the pasture. Oh, I'm tempted.
• 13:18
I can't. I'll let you guys read this on
• 13:21
your own. The stuff that is going on in
• 13:23
Washington DC between the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, between
• 13:28
the President and the Fed is truly unprecedented.
• 13:32
I mean, it is really, really a crazy situation here.
• 13:36
Let's go out and see what 0 Hedge had to say about this.
• 13:41
No one can be that wrong. Quote UN quote.
• 13:43
Trump fires Labor Statistics boss after rigged jobs data.
• 13:47
Now, what's interesting here is that Trump keeps pressuring
• 13:51
Powell the lower rates. And one of the things that
• 13:55
Powell would need to see the lower rates would be a weaker
• 13:58
job market. But Trump's kind of between a
• 14:00
rock and a hard place because if there's a weaker job market that
• 14:03
makes his economy look, quote UN quote, not strong, but it gives
• 14:08
it gives Powell more of a solid platform from which to lower
• 14:12
rates. It is it is absolutely nutty,
• 14:15
guys. It is insane what is going on
• 14:18
right now. And I want to remind you of
• 14:20
something very important. It's important that we take deep
• 14:23
breaths as we observe all this, but realize the most important
• 14:27
thing, which is that the net effect, when you distill all of
• 14:31
this craziness down, what it means is a weaker dollar in real
• 14:36
terms going forward, no matter how you slice it or dice it,
• 14:41
right? No matter what angle you look at
• 14:43
it, when we look around the corner, right?
• 14:46
Cuz that's what we do. You've got, you know, you've got
• 14:48
a good head on your shoulders. It's a known fact that US
• 14:50
basement dwellers, we have a little more, let's say
• 14:53
intellectual horsepower than the average bear.
• 14:56
But none the less, when we look around the corner, what we see
• 14:59
coming is a weaker dollar in real terms.
• 15:03
It can get very confusing trying to look at all this.
• 15:05
We got more Trump drama to look at.
• 15:07
But before we do that, I do want to say thank you to channel
• 15:10
sponsor First Mining Gold. They sponsor the gold and silver
• 15:13
Ron's basement content. They are a gold mining company
• 15:17
development stage OK with two big massive projects in Canada.
• 15:22
They're working through the permitting and the exploration
• 15:25
process. The Du Parquet project, which is
• 15:29
in Quebec, in the Spring Pool project, which is in Ontario,
• 15:33
both of which have multi million ounce deposits in the ground,
• 15:36
have been drilled to find all that wonderful stuff.
• 15:39
They also have another project called the Cameron project,
• 15:41
which also has hundreds of thousands approaching 1,000,000
• 15:45
ounces of gold resource in the ground.
• 15:48
It's stock that I've owned. Oh, I got to throw in my
• 15:50
disclaimer. I am not a financial advisor,
• 15:53
don't make any kind of financial decisions based on anything that
• 15:56
I say. I'm just a guy in his basement
• 15:58
who happens to have a very strong vision about the future
• 16:02
of gold and silver and precious metal mining stocks, but I'm not
• 16:06
  an official financial advisor. OK?
• 16:08
If you want to learn more about First Mining Gold, you can go to
• 16:11
their website, firstmininggold.com, and you can
• 16:14
even reach out to their Director of Investor Relations, Mr.
• 16:18
paul.morrispaul@firstmininggold.com. But what else is Trump up to?
• 16:23
Well, let's just go take a look. Here we go.
• 16:28
This came out. Metals and miners here.
• 16:30
President Trump, the latest. Hold on.
• 16:35
  There we go. Yep.
• 16:37
President Trump demands that the Federal Reserve Board wrest
• 16:41
control of the central bank from Fed Chair Powell.
• 16:45
He fires the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics and on the
• 16:48
same day starts to encourage a basically, I don't know, well, a
• 16:54
revolt at the Fed that the, that the Fed board take away and
• 16:58
basically fire Jerome Powell. I mean, it's becoming it.
• 17:03
Everything was like real smooth sailing for like 3 or 4 weeks
• 17:07
and then suddenly one day, oh, and what happened, man, I
• 17:09
  forgot. I apologize.
• 17:10
Basement dwellers, what happened as the wheels fell off yesterday
• 17:14
is this. Let's go take a look.
• 17:17
We'll go out to CNBC and this is what happened.
• 17:21
Oh my God, I didn't realize it was that crazy.
• 17:24
Gold yesterday was up $67 in the futures market, 3416 dollars.
• 17:33
  Wow. And silver up $0.40.
• 17:36
I knew they were up big. I didn't realize they were up
• 17:38
that big. So that's why we're paying
• 17:40
attention to what's going on in Washington DC and with Trump
• 17:44
  here. Here's a Trump headline.
• 17:47
No, we're not even talking about the tariffs, right?
• 17:50
We've got that whole situation. Oh, sorry, I know I don't, but
• 17:54
we'll talk about that in the future live stream.
• 17:56
But we got the Fed keep firing the Fed head firing the head of
• 18:00
the BLS, the head of the feds not been fired.
• 18:03
We got the tariff situation. Oh, here to make it even more
• 18:06
interesting and and scary, I might add.
• 18:12
Here we go. Trump deploys A2 nuclear Subs
• 18:17
after Med Medvedev's foolish inflammatory statement.
• 18:22
So I guess the Russian defence minister said some stuff last
• 18:27
week. So now we have 2 nuclear
• 18:29
submarines moving into I guess what you might call defensive or
• 18:34
offensive posture around Russia. Just nuclear submarines.
• 18:38
On a serious note, of course we don't ever want war and we
• 18:41
certainly don't want to think about nuclear war.
• 18:44
But but this but this headline read what it will man are you
• 18:51
feeling exhausted? I mean it is just absolutely
• 18:53
crazy. Finally with Trump will do one
• 18:55
more. This is a OK this believe came
• 18:58
from the Arcadia economics earlier or later last week.
• 19:02
But Trump said this all right we he wants a weak dollar OK guys
• 19:07
he wants to run up the debt. Don't let whatever that whatever
• 19:10
they're saying he wants a weak dollar and to run up the debt.
• 19:13
Trump said a strong dollar sounds good, but you make a hell
• 19:15
of a lot more with a weaker one. Second paragraph here.
• 19:20
So when we have a strong dollar, one things hat, one thing
• 19:23
happens. It sounds good, but you don't do
• 19:25
any tourism. You can't sell tractors, you
• 19:28
can't sell trucks, you can't sell anything, Trump said at a
• 19:31
white at the White House before leaving on his trip to Scotland.
• 19:35
OK, we've got craziness going on and we have a weak dollar.
• 19:39
And what that means for you and me as a precious metal investor
• 19:45
is if we price this stuff right, silver like this 5 oz silver bar
• 19:50
from first met, right? If we, if we price it in U.S.
• 19:53
dollars as we go down, I'm not talking months, quarters, years,
• 19:58
I'm talking decades. My belief, right?
• 20:01
The value of this, if we decide to use it, the US dollar is the
• 20:06
unit of measure to value. It will go up in dollar terms.
• 20:10
But another important thing for you to remember?
• 20:13
Very critical, right? And it's a hard concept, but I
• 20:16
know you can do it 'cause you're smart.
• 20:18
Is that we don't want to think of this is, is this well,
• 20:22
  probably worth, what, about $180?
• 20:24
A 5 oz silver bar? Is it $180 or is it 5 ounces of
• 20:29
silver? Think of your metals in terms of
• 20:32
Oz, OK? Because these oz were around for
• 20:36
thousands of years before this thing came on the scene.
• 20:41
There it is, the paper dollar, right?
• 20:44
The Fiat dollar. Think of our metals in terms of
• 20:47
Oz. And that's a real pure,
• 20:50
wholesome way to think about it in a, in a, in a more of a
• 20:53
timeless way, because this right now, this is fresh silver, as I
• 20:58
told you, out of the ground in Mexico.
• 21:00
But silver has been around for hundreds and hundreds of Fiat
• 21:04
paper money systems that have come and that have gone things
• 21:09
are bad. This I just want to end with
• 21:10
this, OK? I know it seems like everything
• 21:13
thing is hunky Dory. I heard people say, oh, I go out
• 21:16
on the street, people are at restaurants and I agree 100%,
• 21:20
right? Things on the surface look very
• 21:22
good in the US economy. But let me give you an example,
• 21:26
an analogy. If my financial if I came to you
• 21:29
as a friend, I'm coming to you right now as a friend, OK?
• 21:32
And I told you my financial situation was one in which I
• 21:35
own. I owed $500,000 on this
• 21:39
beautiful house I get to live in 500 grand in mortgage debt.
• 21:43
I've got 80 grand in car debt. I've got 100 grand in student
• 21:47
  debt. I've got, I don't know, another
• 21:50
50 grand and buy now pay later. I got another 100 grand in in
• 21:54
home equity line of credit. I got like 8-9 hundred, $1000 in
• 21:58
debt and I make about let's say 90K per year, all right.
• 22:03
But on the surface everything's great.
• 22:05
We got a like a six month old Chevy Tahoe in the in the
• 22:10
garage. We got a beautiful Honda Odyssey
• 22:12
  minivan. We're going on vacation.
• 22:15
We're doing great. We're doing great.
• 22:16
You'd say, yeah, maybe you are doing great on the surface, but
• 22:20
when you peel back the hood and look under the hood, Ron, you're
• 22:24
not doing great. You can barely afford to pay the
• 22:27
interest payment on the debt that you own, and you keep
• 22:30
piling up more and more debt. That is exactly what our country
• 22:34
is doing. So on the surface, and by the
• 22:36
way, that's not my financial situation, thankfully, but on
• 22:40
the surface, I would look, oh, I'm doing great.
• 22:42
I'm a great dad, a great father. We're doing wonderful.
• 22:45
But the reality would be something much different.
• 22:48
And I don't like to have to say that this either, but that's
• 22:52
what's going on with this country.
• 22:54
Look, I was born here. I love this country, I love the
• 22:57
United States of America. I hate what our previous
• 23:01
leadership has done to put you and me, if you are joining from
• 23:04
America in this horrible situation in which we find
• 23:08
ourselves now. It is very despicable.
• 23:11
So as we think about silver and gold, the reason I told I told
• 23:15
you that example is we think about silver and gold in terms
• 23:18
of the next decade. Guys, look, look, unless there's
• 23:24
some miracle that occurs, there ain't no way that the dollar can
• 23:28
do anything but continue to dilute, continue to devalue,
• 23:33
continue to be worthless. I'm not saying it's going to be
• 23:36
worthless. I'm not one of these.
• 23:38
Oh, you need to be ready with your silver because of the
• 23:41
zombie apocalypse and you're only going to be able to buy
• 23:43
  food. No, maybe that'll happen.
• 23:46
Not saying it won't, and I'm not casting any shade on people that
• 23:50
do, but most realistically, very realistically, we're going to be
• 23:55
in a situation where the US dollar continues to buy less.
• 23:58
I'm not even going to go down the China, India, Russia Rd. but
• 24:01
I will briefly, right? We're in a situation now we're
• 24:04
the world. Compared to that, we're very
• 24:06
similar to the 1970s, except for two big things.
• 24:11
And there's two big reasons why we want to pay attention to this
• 24:14
reason #1 as I just described it nauseam, the US financial
• 24:19
situation, the amount of debt that we have is way worse now
• 24:23
than it was in the 70s. And reason #2 the world has
• 24:26
changed. In the 1970's, the Chinese
• 24:30
economy, the Indian economy, and even the Russian economy was
• 24:34
nothing like it is now. But the world has changed.
• 24:39
Asia is taking over the, the, the, the, the, the pricing
• 24:44
mechanism of the metals. I mean, we are in a perfect
• 24:47
storm where I think I could be wrong.
• 24:50
I'm not a financial advisor. Trust your financial advisor.
• 24:53
They have fancy TV commercials and they're always looking out
• 24:56
for your best interest. But nonetheless, I think that
• 25:00
the future for silver and gold look better than ever before.
• 25:03
And heck, like we talked about earlier, the world's biggest
• 25:06
silver miner and productions going down.
• 25:09
Hey, thank you for being here. You are special, you are unique.
