A 79-Year-Old’s Tribute Ride to Ground Zero | Green Bay News
A 79-year-old former EMS volunteer, Jim Brien, biked 343 miles from Boston to Ground Zero—not just for exercise, but to honor fallen firefighters and support first responders still battling health issues from 9/11. With the 25th anniversary approaching, this ride was his tribute to unity, resilience, and remembrance. He’ll continue his journey nearly 400 miles to Shanksville, PA, to honor Flight 93 passengers and crew, proving that one man’s dedication can carry the weight of history forward.
