- Courtney: Hello and welcome back to the Mission for more podcasts. I'm your host, Courtney, and I get to say this differently this week the face behind Rooted with Courtney on social media. So if you are following me on social media, you have seen a name change. My handle has changed to rooted dot with dot Courtney. It is no longer her mind on Mission. And when I came out of social media, I didn't really know what name I wanted, and that name had come to mind, and I just stuck with it because I was like, yes. this r truly is a mission field for me. And people have thought that over time my name was Hermione or they couldn't figure out what the name was because like her mind on mission. You know, you sometimes read on social media as like a name. So people were not getting the full vision of what her mind on mission truly was. And obviously there are some things going on here around in the background of things. And we are in the Rooted Woman audio series. I'm gonna be teasing a little bit more about what's to come, but I needed to make a change. And that was one of the first changes that are going to be coming as well as some other things that are coming down the pipeline. Stay tuned till the very end of this episode and I will hint something else for you. I hope that you are as excited as I am about all of it. And I was thinking going into this episode, like what do I want to say to lead into what we're gonna talk about? But all I could think of, and this is just like from the bottom of my heart, all I wanted to say was, I wish you were here. Like I I wish you were here. I wish we were all together, and I wish I could hug every single one of you that has been here from the beginning or the middle, or maybe you just recently started following along and tuning in. But I am so, so, so excited. grateful for each and every one of you. And I want you to keep this in mind because everything I'm doing here is truly for God's glory and for your good. It is not for me and my purpose of Courtney on social media. It truly is what the Lord is doing. And you're going to continue to see that weave in and out of the changes. But I'm just excited and I wish that I could get everybody together in one room to tell you all the things that have been going on. But for now, we've got the podcast. So episode seven. why you keep going back and how God actually changes you. I teased a little bit on social media. I like to do this before the episodes come out and actually it started off by accidentally doing this and I usually also accidentally do it. But I think that because my mind is already in that direction, it just naturally happens. But I'm just kind of teasing that we don't want behavior modification in our life, which is funny because you know what? I am a board certified behavior analyst. So behavior modification, behavior change is actually something that I am passionate about and trained in. But I don't want behavior modification change only for a season. I want heart transformation that is actually going to change my life. And what changes in your heart starts to change in your mind and how you think. And then that's going to start to change your actions. Behavior modification truly is only surface level. It's the output of what is going on internally or what you know we can make seem is going on internally for a short period of time. But when that runs out What is going on truly inside of us will spill over into all of the things that we are doing. And I want to talk about that because many Christian women think that they're struggling with discipline, but what you are actually struggling with is believing in an old identity that is no longer yours to carry. You are believing in an old identity that is no longer yours to carry. I want to break this down a little bit today. So I've talked about this so many times because it truly just is the heartbeat of my message in many ways. We start off by saying, I'm never going to yell again. I'm going to start over on Monday. This time I'm really serious about this. I swear I'm finally going to be consistent. And then somehow, three days later, we are right back to where we started. And I want to talk about the why here. We've talked about that this does happen and we've talked about why it it can happen sometimes, you know, things going on in our life. But truly the the why is because behavior is not the the real root. It's the belief. And if you believe that when you fail a little bit, when you make a mistake, when you step out of this plan that you've made for yourself, when you maybe eat over on the calories you intended to eat for the day, when you do raise your voice and yell at your kids, When you said that you weren't gonna do this thing and now you've done it again. The belief is I failed. I'm a failure because my worth is in how I perform as a mother. And most of us wouldn't actually say that out loud, but you know, my worth is in how I diet, my worth is in my weight, my worth is in how I perform and all these roles and responsibilities around me. And that belief and that identity is going to trigger a certain response. And that response is going to be to tuck ourselves away, to hide away, right? And We think that it's the behavior. Like if I just fix my behavior, I'll be good. But what happens when we really fix our identity is that I can trust that I am a daughter of the most high king and I don't have to be quote unquote good because he is good and he is working all things for my good and for his glory. And if I made a little mistake, God does not love me any less. Remind yourself that. If you, sister, have made a mistake, God does not love you any less. And we just need to keep moving forward and do the next best thing. What is the next best choice that is leading me in my identity to be rooted in him? Because that is what's going to take us way further than behavior modification ever will. And I think we really recognize that and grab a hold of it. Then we can see the how. We start to finally see the how because we always say, like, I want to be this, but we don't say, Here is how I'm going to become this. And when we change that language, we start to really see the dots being connected. And so I want you to think about that. What have you said recently? Maybe it's I'm gonna start over on Monday. I really need to get back to exercising. I swear I'm not going to yell anymore. I want to save more money, no more spending money on coffee in the drive-thru. Whatever it is that you have said, then you have not followed. through with. I want you to think about how do I become that type of person? How do I become the person that no longer stops at the drive-thru? How do I become X, Y, and Z fill in the blank? And then really pause at that part and journal it and write it down. I think you'll start to be able to connect the dots more when you actually pause and process through it. But we think about these things and I want to come out as the behavior analyst in me. Like I said, it's not all about behavior change and behavior modification, but when we look at the small and the practical things, so if you say I want to be a more frugal person, okay, so how do I become a more frugal person? Well, one thing I can do is not stop at the drive-thru to pick up coffee when I go and grab gas or go for a drive with the kids or go to grab a car wash, whatever it is, right? It's I'm not gonna stop and grab coffee and we're not gonna have dinner out. Out, right? That's going to help me to become a more frugal person. But if you always grab your coffee and you've got that pattern in your life, that habit in your life, you need to do something to replace that. So, okay, here is the the step on how I'm going to not go, not just be a frugal person, but not go grab coffee. How? I'm gonna make my coffee at home and put it in the car to go with me along the way. Or, you know, like me, I love to have my electrolytes. So I'm gonna make my electrolytes and have them in the car so I don't feel like I need to stop anywhere and if maybe I it's you know, going and grabbing a snack or lunch out to eat. Like I know that this is what I'm gonna have for lunch when I come home. Like pre-planning these things and having something in the place of what you would normally go out and do is going to help you replace that behavior. And if you've got your drink already in the car, it's gonna be much harder for you to be like, yeah, I can justify going and grabbing a coffee while I'm out in the drive-throughs right there. Now, if I say I'm not going to yell anymore, I don't want to be the mom that yells. I want to become the peaceful mom. Well, how do I get there? Something that we have started to do in our house because it just seemed like the kids were talking over us and then we were trying to talk over them. And then it would get really loud. And I don't like when it's loud in our house. And so then I will say, it's too loud in here. I'm getting overwhelmed because I voice how I'm feeling, just so my kids know where I'm at. And if I step away, it's because I have been overwhelmed and I'm trying not to be, right? And so what we've started doing is whispering. We will whisper. If we feel like we're going to yell. And what happens is it actually brings down the voice level in our house because we're bringing down our level. And most of the time our kids are just trying to match us. And so we whisper, sometimes they whisper back, sometimes they continue to yell for a moment until they realize that we're not talking over them. And it helps to really change the peace in our home. So if I don't want to yell, what am I going to do in place of yelling? I am going to whisper instead. And when we start to replace the behavior, we will start to have a a new pathway that we can take so that we are shifting out of that old habit and building a new habit in our life. And I want to talk about fruit because we've talked about fruit, like, okay, I want to have good fruit in my life. I want to bear good fruit. And we have these habits and hopefully we will see the good fruit. But when I think about, okay, who do I want to become? How am I going to get there? And the third part of that is what fruit do I want in that season when I do get there? I want to talk about the fruit in our lives because when you come under the identity that the Lord has given us as daughters, that we just need to tend to our roots. We need to be deeply rooted in Him. And then the good fruit. Fruit in due season is going to grow, but I want to highlight something here about the fruit. Fruit does not grow by trying harder. You know, I know that sounds silly to say out loud, but like stay with me here. Think about the tree illustration that I often have used. If we have an apple tree, okay, the the tree does not. Wake up in the morning and try harder to produce apples and say, like, okay, I am going to produce 10 apples today. No, the apple tree is literally just an apple tree. And as it remains an apple tree and it has healthy roots, it is going to produce apples in due season. And instead of trying harder, like, yes, there is the who do I want to become and how do I get there? But it is not about trying harder or having this like outward change that we have. It truly is just remaining rooted in him and allowing God to transform our hearts in that process so that we can connect our belief in our identity in Christ versus the belief that I am how I perform. And if I yell at my kids that I'm a bad mom. And you know, we connect these beliefs in our minds, but we really have to uproot those lies and really replace it with the truth and come under that identity that we have in Christ. That's why I said these episodes really do build on each other so that we can get the the tools and the path to And all of that from the Lord to move in the direction of becoming who you want to become and taking the steps that you've laid out on how you're actually going to get there. And again, the how is not, I'm gonna do these 25 things every single day so that I can be the healthiest and hottest and wealthiest. You know, that's like the popular terminology right now on social media version of me. Like that's who I'm gonna become and I'm gonna get there before the end of the year. No, what is God telling you is the next Right step. I'm talking about Holy Spirit conviction, not how to guides with 25 different steps on how to get there. Holy Spirit conviction, communion with the Lord. What is the next best step to move in the direction that the Lord is calling you to go? Your fruit is going to be evidence of you being connected and rooted in your identity as a quote unquote apple tree and being tended to and having a good root system and being healthy. Okay. I want you to think about that in the back of your mind. Am I am I healthy in my roots? Am I moving forward to produce the fruit that I am longing for in due season? And are the steps that I'm taking and the choices that I'm making helping me to become the person that God is calling me. to be, not this person that you're creating in your mind, this perfect version that you need to be. I'm really meaning like, no, who God is calling you to be, that conviction that sets in when you surrender to him. I talk a lot about women feeling stuck. We often go into that way of thinking, like, I have to start over if I have made a mistake. Maybe next month we'll revisit our financial goals that we have. I know you know what I'm talking about, 'cause many of us have done this in one way, shape, or form, where we feel so ashamed by the choice that we made that we kind of tuck ourselves away and hide our tail between our legs and say we're gonna start over later because it feels so defeating that you've made the choice that you made in the moment, just like Eve and Adam in the garden, right? It's like, Okay, I made this choice, now I have to run away and I'm ashamed of of what I've done. And we shouldn't feel that way when we've made just one mistake, right? When we've slipped up and we ate a little bit more than we were supposed to. We had that snack before bed. We made a purchase that we didn't, you know, include in the budget. We should not feel the need to completely start over, And I truly believe that's the depiction of the of the son, right? Of God giving us his son to die for our sins and show us that there is hope in eternity with God, that we have a bigger mission, a bigger call in our lives as his daughters, than the things that are going on in our current situation, than the things that make us feel like we are a failure. And so I really want you to start thinking about that. Who do you want to become? What is the fruit that you want when you get there? And how are you going to make steps to actually go in that direction? Because when you have your sight so fixed on that and you begin to pray into it, you're going to become more aware of the decisions that you make. And whether it's gonna be bringing you closer or f taking you further away from becoming that version of you that the Lord is calling you to become. I know so many of you who have done the holy habits challenges have said this in the past, that you know it is a big challenge for you to finish the challenges, or it is really hard to build those habits. And I want us to be able to do that. I think the missing piece truly is not knowing who you want to become. It's like, well, I'm gonna get up every single day and read my Bible. I wanna be in my word before I pick up the phone, you know, and when you see the bigger vision of like, no, I just want to become somebody who reads the Bible every day, you're not gonna be so fixated. Yes, the plan is to get up and read your Bible before you get on your phone, like put God in your mind before anything else gets there, right? But just because you touched your phone first doesn't mean you give up and now you don't read your Bible for a month. It means okay, I do read my Bible at some point during the day. That's my non negotiable. I cannot go to bed without reading the Bible because I'm becoming a person who is in the Word of God every single day of her life. Right. And I Think if we keep pushing it off and pushing it off, the enemy just brings more and more shame. And that's what drives us away from the Lord, right? In Romans 12, 2. I'm actually reading from the CSV. Most of you know I really like to read from the ESV, but I do like this version. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may discern what is good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. I do not want to know the will of myself over my life. I want to know God's will for me over my life. I want to be so surrendered to him that I am walking in the will that he has for me and not trying to strive my way into what I think that he wants for me or what I think that I need to be in order to deserve his love. And that's often why shame comes in because we still have that thought like if I just do these things, I will get the affirmation that I'm looking for. I will be a better Christian. I will be a better wife or a daughter, you name it. We can fill in the blank with so many different roles that we walk in each and every day. But if I'm truly being renewed and transformed by the Lord through the amazing grace that He has given me as a sinner and as somebody who fails all the time, I no longer need to start over on a Monday. I just need to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. What is the next best choice that is going to help me to get to who I want to become and to see the fruit that I'm longing to see when I get there, who God is calling me to be. And if you keep this in the back of your mind, how am I being transformed right now? Right now, as you are literally about to pull into the drive-thru once again to get the coffee. How am I being transformed right now? Okay, I know that the Lord has put on my heart to be more frugal, to save money, to pay off debt. I'm not going to go through the drive-thru. I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. I'm actually going to go a different way so I don't even pass the coffee shop. Whatever you need to do, it will help you to begin to recognize whether or not you are being transformed, whether or not your mind is transformed, your heart is transformed, and now your actions are being transformed too, because of the transformation happening in internally, which is funny because I, you know, as a Christian, I can blend this like picture of being a behavior analyst and being a daughter of the most high king because behavior analysts really only look at the outward behavior, the output of everything. But I know as a Christian, there's so much that goes on internally that affects that output. And all of it has to do with whether or not we are believing in who God says that we are or we're believing in the things, the lies that have maybe been spoken over us and what is our belief attached to. And really taking off the behavior analyst hat and speaking as your sister in Christ, God wants this transformation because He wants the transformation. Like we're talking about not just behavior change, right? So the transformation in your heart, the recognition that you are his daughter and the submission to the identity that he has first given you. Because as silly as it sounds, like to not go through the drive-thru to be so grateful for that, right? It bleeds into stewarding your money well. And when you're stewarding your money well, and now you have more to give, and now you're giving to the church and wow, you're serving in ways that you never thought you and your family would be able to serve in. And when you were serving, there was this person who's unchurched and doesn't know the Lord that you got to encounter and you got to pray with them. But would you would not have been able to do that if you were working overtime hours to maintain, I don't know, your coffee drive-thru addiction. You know, I I know it sounds so silly and this is maybe an example that may or may not resonate with you. But think about those small shifts can really take us in or out of the will of God in our lives. Are you in or out of obedience? When he's putting conviction on your heart, are you in or out of walking in the fruit that he has for you? Ask yourself, am I in or out? Because as your sister, I want you in. I want you here with me. And how I said in the beginning, like I just wish you were here. Like truly, I wish you were here. I wish we were all together. I wish that I could just group hug it out. I wish that I could look each and every one of you in the eyes and say, I want so much more for you because I know God has so much more for you. That is the heartbeat behind the series, behind the message, behind what the Lord is doing all around, not just through the things that I'm doing on social media. Like I said, it this is not me. Okay. It's not about Courtney. I'm seeing it everywhere. I'm seeing similar messages. all over the place and I have said it for about a year now. and it's been in my the back of my mind for more than that, but over the last year it's really been so evident, God is aligning the hearts of his daughters because there is a greater message and a greater mission that we are called to. And it looks a little bit different in all of our lives. But if we will just kind of fine-tune these things in our lives, how much greater of an impact if you go and you impact ten people and they each go and they impact ten people, and you keep going down the line like a domino effect. And I'm doing it with every single person, like tuning in and then there's 50,000 more people online because of the people that they're listening to and tuning into and being mentored by in person or online. It doesn't matter. Just imagine the impact if we all come under that alignment and the will of God in our lives that we will have for the kingdom. I want to get the vision back on that, not on the things that the enemy wants you to focus on. Right. That the the enemy wants you to focus on that identity being rooted in being perfect so that the shame comes in and you can't get back to that place that you really want to go. Just imagine if we all push those lies out of the way, push the enemy out of the way, put our blinders on to see what the Lord has for us in this season so that you can see the fruit that you are longing for in your life. And not only that, but you're gonna impact the fruit of other people's lives because of what God is doing in us first, all because of what he did first through his son for us, so that we would have the hope and the message that resonates for eternity, right? I don't know, just can you can you grab hold of that vision with me? As you can tell I'm like hopeful. I'm joyful. I'm I'm Is so excited. There's so much peace in all that God is doing. And the same time, I'm heartbroken because there are so many women who just haven't been able to hear this type of message and who are longing for it or just can't seem to get unstuck and who are begging God to pull them out of the pit. But there are things in their lives they're like, I don't, I just don't know the how. And I pray that this gives a few more tools in the tool belt to be able to get to where God is bringing us to link arms, link arm sisters. It is going to be so good. I've just been so deeply enamored by all that the Lord is doing and I can't come out of it. I truly can't come out of it. It's like I don't even know a waterfall of emotion, of gratitude, of excitement over all that he's doing. So just stay with me as we continue through the rest of this, as I continue going through this series and as we continue to do all that the Lord is is asking us to do here, even outside of social media. I know like in your community, I'm sure you are seeing things that are happening in and around you. It's like whoa. God is on the move. So I know I can't be the only one feeling it. Leave a comment if you feel it too. Now I want to talk about our habits. Every habit that we have, as I mentioned briefly a little bit ago, is attached to a belief. Again, when you think I have to earn God's love, I'm always behind, I'll never change, I'm just an anxious person. This is who I am. I'm just not disciplined. I'm not very frugal. We say these things, maybe they've been spoken over us. Things in our life affirm the way that we're thinking, and those beliefs start to shape our daily decisions. But what would happen if you allowed God? God in and He changed your heart and He changed your perspective and you started praying like God I want to see myself through the perspective that you have of me. God, I want to see the people in my life through the perspective that you have of them. God, I want to be so sensitive to your Holy Spirit leading and guiding me in the areas that you're convicting me on. God, I don't want to go out and buy another coffee. I don't want to be overspend. I'm done shopping on Amazon, whatever it is. You know, I want to be leaning into the conviction of paying off debt, paying down these bills, saving up. Maybe he's calling you to steward things differently in your home. Maybe it's about health and weight. I'm on a weight loss journey myself. So maybe it's like fine-tuning little things like I don't want to eat before bed. You know, all these little little shifts that we are making really be sensitive to what the Lord is leading you in and take that next best step. Step and you pray, like God, align my body, my mind, my taste buds, you know, even with all that you have for me. Help me, God, to choose the food that's going to nourish my body. You can pray these prayers into all of the habits that you are trying to build and even the habits that you're trying to break. Just asking God to help you to come into alignment with the will that He has for your life. And as you get those little nudges and convictions, begin to pray into them. And then you're going to attach those new beliefs as you start building new habits. This is again where. I really hope that everyone's tuning in from the holy habits challenges because I I you know just that thought of like I can't seem to finish the challenge, I can't seem to build these habits. but you can. You just need to change your beliefs and attach the new belief to the habit that you are trying to build and move forward in that direction. So you keep asking yourself and asking the Lord, is this something that's going to bring me closer to who I want to become and the fruit that I want to see in that season? And if it's not, then you have to ask, okay, what am I believing about this? What habit do I need to form here? And it starts. I know it sounds like a lot, but it starts to really come together like one big puzzle. And the Lord will reveal to you what is right versus what should be set aside. And you just keep asking, God, show me the next best step. And I bet you he will. I can bet on it, okay? Because I have a track record with the Lord in this area. And maybe you don't, but I know that many of you do and you can look back and see all that the Lord has done in your life. And if you don't, I promise you, he's trying to build a track record in your life. Start paying attention. Write it down, journal it, because he's doing it again and again and again. And I just fill with tears when I talk about wanting more for you because as much as I want more for you, I know that God wants even more, abundantly more than you can think or imagine. Ephesians 3.20, he wants that for you so deeply. And if you begin to believe that, you're gonna believe so much more for yourself. Okay. And remember, God doesn't just want change. He doesn't want to change the things that we do outwardly, right? He doesn't want that's what I'm trying to say, behavior modification. He doesn't want behavior change. He wants to change how we believe. and what we see as we go through our daily lives emotions and the roles and responsibilities that we have. Ezekiel thirty six, twenty-six, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And how beautiful that when we come to the Lord and we submit to him, We can trust that the change is going to happen. Not maybe. No, like it is going. To happen. Keep surrendering because I'm telling you, he will show up and you will see the transformation, even if it is not overnight. Maybe God wants you to grow in this area and start to wrap it up and strength, you know, strengthen that muscle. and you're gonna have to practice and practice and practice. And you practice surrendering, practice putting your trust in him, practice remaining rooted and start to ask differently questions too, because the rooted woman asks questions like instead of asking, How do I become disciplined? you're going to start asking, what truth do I need to get me there? And how do I become the woman that God is calling me to be? Instead of how do I fix myself? How should I start over on a Monday? You know, maybe you ask where am I no longer submitted? Where am I not listening to that conviction that the Holy Spirit is giving me? And how, Lord, do I get to that place where I see the fruit that I'm longing for in my life and trust that as you are asking those questions, the Lord will reveal because he is so good and he wants you submitted. I mean, of course, he's the Almighty Father. He wants us submitted in proclaiming his name, professing the truth, and going and sharing all that he is doing. So why would he not want more for you? As we kind of wrap up here, I want you to journal the things that we've talked about. So again, how do I get to who I'm becoming? Who, maybe you need to go back, who am I becoming? Who do I want to become? What fruit do I want to see when I get there? And what habits do I need to repeat in order to move in that direction? Ask yourself those questions. Journal it down. I want you to stop striving and really start trying to come into submission with the will of God for your life. And you, you can ask, I can even ask right now, God, what is the will of God for my life? And I cannot tell you outwardly, confidently, that I know the exact will of God for my life, but I know that as I surrender step by step. For example, the smallest thing before I put the kids to bed, I recognize the boys began playing with their Legos. This is a thing that we've been doing. It's like every night they've got Legos in their room. They kind of forget about the Legos that are there. And then as soon as we're ready for bed, they start to think about the Legos. They wanted to watch a show. I said, No, we're gonna transition upstairs now because everyone still needs to brush their teeth and finish getting ready for bed. And I really felt like the Lord was like, Don't give grace here. But then as soon as we came upstairs and I recognized, wait, they're playing, I I realized, wow I need to give the grace here because we actually have the time for me to give the grace for them to play a little bit in their rooms as we're winding down because I told them to transition upstairs earlier. It is those little things. And had I not tuned into what the Lord was leading me to do as a mom in that moment, I would have missed it. And then bedtime would have gotten pushed back and I would have become frustrated because we're not listening and it's not playtime. And you know, the whole entire thing. I mean, we go through it all the time in my house and I'm sure any mom listening is chuckling as she resonates with this as well. But I want you just to focus on one small shift at a time. What is the next Best step. And God, how do I surrender to the plan that you have for me? If I want to be a more peace-filled mom, I'm going to pray into that. And the Lord is going to show me, just as I said with the kids, you know, transitioning upstairs earlier, He's going to show me exactly what I need to do. And it might be hard to be like, was that God? Was that me? Was that just wisdom, discernment? I don't know, but I'm counting it all for the glory of God. Anytime I see a victory in my home, I'm giving God the glory because there's no way that I could have come up with all the things that has been happening in my life, in my children, in my marriage and everything that I'm seeing around me that can only be because of well I just thought that up or you know whatever it no I want to give God all the glory because he's piecing it all together every single day and if you trust that he will lead you like that you're gonna start seeing him lead you in those small little ways and then those shifts are gonna happen and you're gonna be astounded by how far those shifts are truly going to take you. So let me pray. Father God we just thank you we thank you for all the ways that you are aligning the hearts of your daughters I've seen it time and time again and specifically this last year has just been so apparent. So I just thank you for that, Father, for those who are listening in or those who are hearing a similar message somewhere else, that you are breaking us free of habits, addictions, struggles, pain points that maybe have held us back or kept us stuck. And God, for the woman listening, you are creating new habits and new thought patterns and new perspectives. And you are just not just changing the behavior on the outside in us, but Lord, you are transforming our hearts and our minds and our actions to Bring us into the woman that you are calling us to be to be, to bring the woman who's listening to become the person that you are calling her to be, to see the fruit in her life that she has been longing for. And God, I know that there is sometimes it it just feels impossible. And there are these beliefs that we attach to the habits that we have or we feel like a failure when we slip up even just a little bit. I pray against those lies that the enemy tries to bring in that hold us back. And I pray for the woman on the other side of this audio message, Lord, that she is going to so easily and confidently move. The direction that you have for her, God, because those lies will be silenced, and your truth is going to be so much easier to submit and surrender to. And she's going to see this track record of you being so faithful, built in her life, time and time again, prayer after prayer, cry out after cryout. And she is going to begin to see that transformation happening, not only in her mind and heart, but in the actions that happen as she continues to move in the direction that you have for her, Father. So I just pray a blessing over her today. I pray, God, that you continue to lead and guide this, all that's happening. on social media with me here, Lord, and the messages that you have put on my heart to give out, Father. And I just pray that they continue to resonate with women who are tuning in. But more than that, Lord, I just pray that we go out and we make an impact with the things that you are impacting us with, Father. Your word, your truth. I pray that we can share that and that will there will be a domino effect for your kingdom because of the transformation that is happening in us first, because of the grace that you have given us first through your Son Jesus Christ. So forgive us of the times that we have sinned, forgive us of the times that we have maybe sat back in our old ways because we felt like moving forward was too hard. And I just pray, God, that moving forward becomes easy and that the small shifts are so much more feasible than trying to build these huge big habits and these lists of 25 different things that we need to do to become her, quote unquote her. But God, I know that you have something so special for each and every one of us. And I pray that we can truly become who you have called us to be and walk in that identity and not the identity that we've placed on ourselves or the world has tried to place on us, Father. Help us To be so submitted to you. And when we're not, gently lead and guide us back on the path that helps us to stay within your will. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Thank you so much for tuning into the Mission for More podcast. Like I mentioned, a lot has been changing around here. And the name of the podcast, Sob, I'm a little sad, is going to be changing as well. Obviously, it's rooted with Courtney on social media. The name here is going to be changing in coming weeks, so stay tuned for that. really, the Lord led me into social media and Coming back on, I had a lot of fears, a lot of doubts, a lot of questions. And he has allowed me to fumble my way through it and also just been completely and utterly amazing in providing all of you in the community and letting, you know, the first holy habits challenge go viral and be in, I mean, what were we in, like 12 countries at first? I mean, just absolutely mind blowing to me. And at that point, when I I saw that fruit of just the small shifts in obedience in my own life, I realized this was going to be. much bigger than I anticipated and I started submitting and surrendering to it. So over the last year I've been praying so deeply into all of this and I know that there are just really fun things coming. So stay tuned because I'm going to come up or you know share more changes and more hints along the way. And really it's not for me. It's truly for the benefit of you and the glory of his kingdom. And I will say the hint that I have for you as we continue through this audio series is just that. Stay tuned because it truly is more than just me. This is a ministry. And I'm gonna leave you at that. So come back here next week for episode eight. And if you're not already in the free accountability group that we have, that name has also changed. It is called The Rooted Woman Connection. It is on Facebook. So if you go to Facebook and look that Up there, or I will put it in the show notes for you. You can hop into the group. It is free. It's going to remain free. Some of the things that we're doing in the group are going to be changing. Yes, there will be another holy habits challenge. Stay tuned for that. just trust me when I say that the Lord is doing a lot on the back end over here. So just come back next week. There will be more announcements as we continue through this series. Thank you so much for tuning in. Don't forget to send it to somebody that you think would benefit from listening. And I just appreciate you more than you know. I'll see you next Thursday.
