- 0:01Speaker: Hey there, Camden County.
- 0:02Speaker: It is Monday afternoon, and so you know what that means.
- 0:04Speaker: It means it is time for the Camden catch up, a rundown of everything that you can expect that is happening in Camden County this week.
- 0:12Speaker: Let's get right into it.
- 0:13Speaker: First of all, prom coming up.
- 0:15Speaker: It's this weekend, so if you didn't already know that your kids are about to, uh.
- 0:19Speaker: Spring it on, yet the last minute.
- 0:21Speaker: And so if you have a daughter who might be going to prom and you don't have a dress yet, please note that the Camden County Public Library is doing something called Prom Promise.
- 0:31Speaker: So as long as they have a library card, they're eligible to go first, come first serve, um, and pick out a prom gown.
- 0:38Speaker: Okay?
- 0:39Speaker: But gotta have a library card.
- 0:40Speaker: And if you don't already have one, it's a good reason to have one anyway.
- 0:43Speaker: 'cause.
- 0:44Speaker: You never know when you're gonna need an audible book or a Kindle book or, um, even, even old school hard copy of a book.
- 0:53Speaker: So go on over there, get you a prom dress, and head on off to the ball.
- 0:57Speaker: Tonight, you're probably gonna see this a little bit too late, but just a reminder that there is the Teen Fandom Club also at the Camden County Public Library that we talked about last week, and they are getting together to discuss.
- 1:08Speaker: Coachella.
- 1:08Speaker: So outfits, stars, all the things.
- 1:11Speaker: I don't know anything about it, but they're gonna talk about it.
- 1:13Speaker: And um, again, because it's a teen event, parents do have to sign in and sign out their kiddos.
- 1:19Speaker: So don't just pull up and kick'em outta the car the way that we normally do.
- 1:22Speaker: Okay.
- 1:22Speaker: On Tuesday.
- 1:24Speaker: Tomorrow, February 28th.
- 1:25Speaker: Of course, it's Tuesday.
- 1:26Speaker: It's feed Your Family for cheap nights.
- 1:28Speaker: So check out the specials that are going on around town.
- 1:31Speaker: And then also this is a library heavy start because at the Camden County Public Library, their reading crew, their book club is discussing first lie by Ashley Elston.
- 1:42Speaker: You can call the number that is going to be in the first comment.
- 1:46Speaker: If you have any questions or need further information.

- 1:57Speaker: This time St.
- 1:58Speaker: Mary's public library and they are actually going to have a petting zoo, so that's pretty cool.
- 2:02Speaker: Go support those FFA kids if you've got a little one at home, this might be an excellent story time that you wouldn't wanna miss when I had little ones at home.
- 2:09Speaker: The library story time got me out of the house, so I highly encourage you if you haven't been to one of those sorts of things.
- 2:15Speaker: Go.
- 2:15Speaker: It's a good time.
- 2:17Speaker: Meet other moms.
- 2:18Speaker: Your kids can meet other little kids and they can crawl around and do things.
- 2:21Speaker: Okay.
- 2:21Speaker: On Thursday at 10:00 AM kind of cool.
- 2:25Speaker: There is a produce drive going on at the St.
- 2:27Speaker: Mary's Senior Center, so if you are eligible for those services, you should always check their calendar because they're doing cool things all the time.
- 2:34Speaker: But this is a different thing.
- 2:35Speaker: This isn't one of their recurring events.
- 2:37Speaker: The produce drive, go and see what is available because it's Camden County.
- 2:42Speaker: You know the weekend is when things get pretty busy.
- 2:44Speaker: So here we go.
