- 0:09Sean McAllister: Well, it's exactly what happened for one guy from Georgia.
- 0:13Sean McAllister: We'll tell you about it.
- 0:14Dayna Roselli: And if you love the movie Cocktail, this is for you.
- 0:17Dayna Roselli: A Bar Flare competition is taking place on the strip, and you can watch for free.
- 0:23Sean McAllister: There's a new state-of-the-art sports book off the strip, and we check out a few restaurants around town.
- 0:29Dayna Roselli: Plus, we read your fan mail.
- 0:31Dayna Roselli: All that and more coming up on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Vegas Revealed, presented by Level Up Law, starts now.
- 0:41Sean McAllister: Hello and welcome to Vegas Revealed, episode 237.
- 0:45Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister here, along with Dana Roselli.
- 0:49Sean McAllister: We're past Labor Day.
- 0:51Sean McAllister: And now we can move on with fall, right?
- 0:53Dayna Roselli: Right, our regularly scheduled lives.
- 0:55Dayna Roselli: That's what we call that.
- 0:56Dayna Roselli: Since everyone's been all over the place for summer, right?
- 0:59Dayna Roselli: We've been away here and there, people are away.
- 1:01Dayna Roselli: It's been one of the hottest summers ever.
- 1:02Dayna Roselli: It's 106 still this week in Las Vegas.
- 1:06Dayna Roselli: It feels like we're kind of getting back in a groove of, you know, everyone's routines and hopefully working hard and still continuing to cover all the amazing things that are coming up.
- 1:18Dayna Roselli: And we're going to talk about that in a minute.
- 1:20Dayna Roselli: But we have to address a couple of our fan mail text messages that we got this week.
- 1:24Dayna Roselli: I'm excited about this, Sean, because we really got some good like messages with a lot of substance and detail.
- 1:32Sean McAllister: We did.
- 1:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah, because I talked a lot about the ease of getting around here.
- 1:54Sean McAllister: Right.
- 1:54Dayna Roselli: You know, compared to Seattle.
- 1:56Dayna Roselli: I talked about how the Uber ride from the airport was$64 and it had a slash through it and said it would normally be$75, but so it's usually around$75.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: And just, you know, the Uber system there and all that kind of thing.
- 2:09Dayna Roselli: So someone wrote us from Colorado and said, I love this.
- 2:13Dayna Roselli: This is so great.
- 2:14Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 2:14Dayna Roselli: So uh she said, So funny you were talking about your experience in Seattle and your appreciation of Vegas for a milestone birthday girls' trip.
- 2:22Dayna Roselli: I was deciding between Vegas and Seattle.
- 2:25Dayna Roselli: I just had a feeling that Vegas would be best for our group of eight.
- 2:28Dayna Roselli: Well, we just got back on Sunday and had a fantastic time.
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: Thanks for the confirmation that the right choice was made between the two destinations, and thanks for your podcast.
- 2:39Dayna Roselli: So we love that.
- 2:41Dayna Roselli: Um, so great to get that message.
- 2:43Sean McAllister: Yeah, it is.
- 2:44Sean McAllister: And it's nice to see that that conversation was, you know, appreciated and you know, action was taken on it.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and that was from Hope, by the way.
- 2:54Dayna Roselli: She wrote her name.
- 2:55Dayna Roselli: I think it's hope, and that the sentence didn't get cut off.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: And she was gonna say, Hope you it might just be hope.
- 3:01Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 3:02Sean McAllister: I think it's hope.
- 3:02Dayna Roselli: I think it's hope from Colorado.
- 3:04Sean McAllister: Ohio.
- 3:05Sean McAllister: Uh, we also got a message from Veronica in Indiana, who was just here in Las Vegas.
- 3:11Sean McAllister: She said, My boyfriend and I stayed in Vegas over Labor Day weekend for his birthday, and it was one of the best vacations we have ever taken.
- 3:20Sean McAllister: Our Uber driver from the airport gave us some great recommendations of where to go, things to see.
- 3:25Sean McAllister: And one of them was Chinatown, which we've been talking for a long time about how we need to do a deep dive and do a big episode about Chinatown because there's just so much there.
- 3:37Sean McAllister: Um, so in addition to Chinatown, Veronica said they went also to Oh, and she said they had the best Chinese food ever in Chinatown.
- 3:45Dayna Roselli: So that's cool.
- 3:45Sean McAllister: Which is, you know, appropriate.
- 3:48Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's good.
- 3:49Sean McAllister: Uh also they went to Pepper Mill, which she said gave Austin Power Powers vibes.
- 3:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it does.
- 3:55Dayna Roselli: I love it there.
- 3:56Sean McAllister: Um, and went to Dre's, loved seeing celebrities sitting at the table behind them.
- 4:00Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:01Sean McAllister: And that whole nightclub vibe, a great view up there as well.
- 4:06Sean McAllister: Um, but what kind of capped everything off was that they got married down on Fremont.
- 4:13Dayna Roselli: Isn't that cool?
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: Congratulations.
- 4:15Sean McAllister: Congratulations.
- 4:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she said Vegas created a memory for us that they'll never forget.
- 4:21Dayna Roselli: She loves the podcast.
- 4:22Dayna Roselli: I'll continue to listen to it religiously.
- 4:25Dayna Roselli: Thank you.
- 4:26Dayna Roselli: And she says, thanks for making great content every week.
- 4:28Dayna Roselli: So thank you, Veronica from Indiana.
- 4:31Sean McAllister: Yes, we love that.
- 4:32Sean McAllister: And if you uh you can message us anytime you want about anything you want.
- 4:37Sean McAllister: There's a link down in our show notes.
- 4:40Sean McAllister: Um, all you have to do is click it and it'll open up the text tab.
- 4:44Sean McAllister: Um, just be sure if you want us to know who the message is from, just leave your name at the end because we don't get that information when the messages come through.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: No, and we don't get the phone number either.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: So don't worry about privacy or anything.
- 4:56Dayna Roselli: And that's why we can only talk about it on the podcast, not respond to you by text.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: So, but you know what?
- 5:02Dayna Roselli: I just love two positive messages that two people had a blast in Las Vegas and made memories.
- 5:07Dayna Roselli: This is just, I feel like I don't know, it just makes me so happy.
- 5:12Sean McAllister: Well, and you know, I and once again, congratulations, Veronica, to you and your new husband.
- 5:19Sean McAllister: Um, but Vegas is now going to be that place that holds these special memories.
- 5:26Sean McAllister: You know, for being married here and you know, for having this great trip that you're always gonna look back on fondly.
- 5:33Sean McAllister: And now you can make repeat trips to make new memories and you know, mark the milestone.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: So true.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: And there really is just so much to do here.
- 5:43Dayna Roselli: There is, you know, it really is endless, and so you can come back again and again and again and again, never do the same thing, or go do one of the things that you loved last time and then add on it something new, you know?
- 5:54Dayna Roselli: It's great.
- 5:55Dayna Roselli: Um, speaking of Chinatown, you actually went to a restaurant in Chinatown, but this did not have Chinese food.
- 6:01Sean McAllister: It did not have Chinese food.
- 6:02Dayna Roselli: This is uh You've become a repeat customer here because you love it, and I haven't been yet.
- 6:06Sean McAllister: It's called Mas Porfavour.
- 6:08Sean McAllister: Um, it's a a taco speakeasy, I would say.
- 6:13Sean McAllister: So when you walk in the front door, it looks like it's just like a regular restaurant where you walk up to the counter, order your tacos, and sit down at the tables that they have.
- 6:23Sean McAllister: But there's this big metal sliding door, and if you go back down this dark kind of winding hallway, you end up in their parlor.
- 6:33Sean McAllister: And this is where they've got the bar, there's some high top tables, there's another section that has um some couches, some lower seating, uh, and they have a DJ booth in there too.
- 6:44Sean McAllister: So in the evenings, it kind of kicks up a couple notches.
- 6:48Sean McAllister: Um, they have great food.
- 6:50Sean McAllister: I've been there many times.
- 6:51Sean McAllister: Um, but the one thing I wanted to mention is we went in there before going to see Chelsea Handler over at the Cosmopolitan.
- 6:59Sean McAllister: And so we went in at 5:30 because we had to be over there for the show at, I don't know, I think doors opened at seven or whatever.
- 7:06Sean McAllister: Uh so we went in and there was still a half hour left of happy hour.
- 7:10Sean McAllister: So happy hour at Moss Porfavor is from three to six every single day.
- 7:17Sean McAllister: You get deals on the food, you get deals on drinks.
- 7:20Sean McAllister: It is a great spot.
- 7:21Sean McAllister: Just make sure to make a reservation in the parlor.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, because you do have it.
- 7:27Dayna Roselli: You I've tried to go a couple times and I make a reservation, they're always full.
- 7:31Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 7:31Dayna Roselli: So they fill up quick.
- 7:32Dayna Roselli: It's very popular.
- 7:33Sean McAllister: They do.
- 7:34Dayna Roselli: I love that for an off-strip restaurant.
- 7:37Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 7:38Sean McAllister: And there's a ton, you know, like Veronica mentioned, there is just a ton over in Chinatown.
- 7:44Sean McAllister: I have never had a bad experience in Chinatown.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, me either.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: It's always great.
- 7:48Dayna Roselli: And there, you're right, there's so much there.
- 7:50Dayna Roselli: So we hit a couple other restaurants too, we're gonna talk about in a minute, but still want to talk about a couple things at Allegiant Stadium.
- 7:57Dayna Roselli: Um, FYI Pink is coming back again to Las Vegas.
- 8:02Dayna Roselli: She's doing a show September 13th.
- 8:03Dayna Roselli: I think we've mentioned it before, but we wanted to let people know since this is her second stop here, there seems to be a lot more tickets available.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: And I'm sure they're gonna like fill up the final week, but they are reasonably priced.
- 8:16Dayna Roselli: So if you're looking to get in and see a fantastic show, someone like Pink at Allegiant Stadium and enjoy a concert there, this might be the time for you to get some tickets.
- 8:26Sean McAllister: It is.
- 8:27Sean McAllister: I went to see her uh October of last year of 2023 when she came through with her tour the first time.
- 8:34Sean McAllister: And uh we just ended up buying tickets to go see her again.
- 8:40Sean McAllister: Right coming up on the 13th.
- 8:42Sean McAllister: And what we did before, so we spent extra to sit down on the floor for her concert before.
- 8:48Sean McAllister: And that was a great experience.
- 8:50Sean McAllister: Absolutely loved it.
- 8:52Sean McAllister: But when she's flying around the arena, there's one point where she flies all the way to the back and she's kind of hovering for all the fans who are in the upper deck.
- 9:02Sean McAllister: So we were like, well, you know what?
- 9:03Sean McAllister: For this time around, how about we get seats up there?
- 9:06Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 9:07Sean McAllister: They I think we're under 50 bucks.
- 9:09Dayna Roselli: No, I would looked because um it's actually on my birthday.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: And I was like, I'm not really doing anything on my birthday.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: Maybe like because you said they were affordable, right?
- 9:16Dayna Roselli: Maybe I'll grab my friends and like we'll just go, you know, put our feet up, watch Pink, you know, and they were like$44 up there.
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: And then in the 50s, 53, I think in the section below that.
- 9:28unknown: Yeah.
- 9:28Dayna Roselli: So I was like, you know, if you just want to go enjoy a concert, I don't need to be up close and see Pink.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: I mean, you already told me she flies around.
- 9:34Sean McAllister: Right.
- 9:34Sean McAllister: And the uh listen, the music is incredible.
- 9:39Sean McAllister: Yeah, you're gonna know just about every song that Pink performs.
- 9:43Sean McAllister: In addition to Pink, uh Cheryl Crow is opening.
- 9:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:48Sean McAllister: Which is, I mean, talk about another icon.
- 9:51Dayna Roselli: She was just on an episode of One Tree Hill.
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: Oh, she's watching.
- 9:56Sean McAllister: She was just on an episode 20 years ago from 2004.
- 10:02Sean McAllister: I know I'm she looked great.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: Oh, she looked great.
- 10:05Dayna Roselli: I'm late to the One Tree Hill uh game, but that's what I'm currently watching.
- 10:08Dayna Roselli: Um, but yeah, I was like, wow, Cheryl Crow, and she's still kicking.
- 10:13Sean McAllister: She is.
- 10:13Sean McAllister: She's great.
- 10:14Dayna Roselli: She is.
- 10:15Sean McAllister: I love Cheryl Crow.
- 10:16Sean McAllister: So again, that's on September 13th.
- 10:19Sean McAllister: Uh great priced tickets still available.
- 10:22Sean McAllister: So if you're gonna be in town, uh keep pink in mind.
- 10:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, for sure.
- 10:26Dayna Roselli: Um, speaking of Allegiant, I was at Wynn over the weekend, went to breakfast, had some friends in town that were here for a bachelor party.
- 10:34Dayna Roselli: And so we crashed the bachelor party breakfast because they were good friends of mine, um, and went over to the win, and everyone was there in college gear.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: We had a big college football game at Allegiant Stadium, and it seemed like the strip was just full of people.
- 10:49Dayna Roselli: And then I was looking online when they posted the video of inside, and it looked totally sold out.
- 10:54Dayna Roselli: And you were saying there were more people there than even the Super Bowl.
- 10:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, so this was the big college football kickoff weekend uh that was hosted there at Allegiance Stadium.
- 11:06Sean McAllister: It was USC and LSU playing.
- 11:09Sean McAllister: Uh both teams, marching bands, were making appearances all around Las Vegas.
- 11:14Dayna Roselli: That was so cool.
- 11:15Sean McAllister: There was USC gear everywhere, there was LSU gear everywhere, the fans were all over the place.
- 11:21Sean McAllister: More than 63,000 fans packed Allegiance Stadium for this game.
- 11:28Sean McAllister: And if that isn't a testament to the uh drawing power that Las Vegas has for fans, right?
- 11:35Sean McAllister: Like if we just hosted regular regular season college games, marquee games would be ideal.
- 11:43Sean McAllister: But like really big rivalry matchups, if we just hosted them here in Vegas, whose fans wouldn't want to come here to see the game?
- 11:52Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: And what an experience we give them, right?
- 11:55Dayna Roselli: Like everything.
- 11:56Dayna Roselli: You're right though.
- 11:57Dayna Roselli: Uh we should just do it more often.
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: We should.
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: We have a few.
- 12:01Sean McAllister: As you mentioned, yeah, we did have more fans inside Allegiance Stadium for this college game than we did for Super Bowl.
- 12:08Sean McAllister: Now that is because a lot of sections of the stadium were taken up for media coverage of Super Bowl.
- 12:17Sean McAllister: So, you know, uh the entire facility wasn't available for fans at that, but still it shows just what a big deal it is to have these college games being played here.
- 12:29Sean McAllister: And I have a feeling that it's not the last.
- 12:32Sean McAllister: We are going to be seeing uh a lot more uh college football here, right?
- 12:37Dayna Roselli: And you know, our UNLV Rebels football team plays there, and just keep that in mind.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: If anyone's looking to get inside Allegiant Stadium and go to a football game, you know, the Raiders prices can be it can be pricey.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: Um sometimes there actually aren't seats available, but maybe you go to a UNLV Rebels football game.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: They are playing at Allegiance Stadium uh starting September 7th is Saturday, and they have games all the way through Saturday, November 30th.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: Go support our and you know, maybe you like the team they're playing or you know, uh whatever.
- 13:09Dayna Roselli: But just to get the experience of being in there, I think it's a great opportunity.
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: I know tickets are affordable.
- 13:15Dayna Roselli: We won our first game.
- 13:16Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 13:17Dayna Roselli: So congratulations, Rebels.
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: Um, looks like we got a good quarterback.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: So it could be an exciting year for UNLV, and that might be worth it.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: So, FYI, in case you forgot, the Rebels do play at Allegiant Stadium.
- 13:30Sean McAllister: And by the way, their tickets start at$29.
- 13:34Sean McAllister: Great.
- 13:34Sean McAllister: At Allegiant Stadium.
- 13:36Dayna Roselli: Amazing.
- 13:36Sean McAllister: So if you want to get in and see the stadium, experience what football is like over there, that's the way to do it.
- 13:42Dayna Roselli: That's the same price as an espresso martini at the center bar of a certain hotel on the strip.
- 13:49Dayna Roselli: And that was a topic from last week.
- 13:51Dayna Roselli: But see how many things we can get for the same price?
- 13:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 13:54Sean McAllister: We can go to a football game or a whole football game.
- 13:58Sean McAllister: Your choice.
- 14:00Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 14:01Dayna Roselli: Too funny.
- 14:02Dayna Roselli: We did get a few comments on our uh drink conversation too.
- 14:05Dayna Roselli: Uh, someone sent me a DM and said, I know you suggested like to get around it to ask what the price is of the drink before you order it, but I don't know.
- 14:12Dayna Roselli: I'm I'd feel so silly doing that.
- 14:14Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, well, that's up to you.
- 14:15Dayna Roselli: But you know what?
- 14:16Dayna Roselli: If you want to protect your wallet and you want to know how much something's gonna cost before you order it, you have every right to ask.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: And it's Vegas, baby, don't worry about it.
- 14:25Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 14:26Sean McAllister: Uh, just going back to Allegiant Stadium really quick, too.
- 14:29Sean McAllister: Um, if you want to get inside on a non-game day, they do offer regular tours of Allegiant Stadium, and it's a great tour.
- 14:37Sean McAllister: I've done it at least two or three times.
- 14:40Dayna Roselli: Me too.
- 14:40Sean McAllister: Um, you go down into the locker rooms.
- 14:43Sean McAllister: A lot of times, if you're able to, you get down onto the field, see parts of the stadium that you wouldn't see on a game day.
- 14:50Sean McAllister: So highly recommend that.
- 14:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah, good idea.
- 14:52Dayna Roselli: And it is a really cool.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: We were on a tour once with the players because um they were we were doing a video for them, and it was more of an event.
- 15:01Dayna Roselli: Like they were, you know, taking some kids around uh from a certain organization, and some of the players were like, We don't even get to go on the tour, we have to pay for our family.
- 15:09Dayna Roselli: So they were so excited to see the tour.
- 15:11Sean McAllister: They were like, we never get to see this stuff because we're either in the locker room or on the field.
- 15:16Sean McAllister: That's it.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 15:17Dayna Roselli: So isn't that interesting?
- 15:18Dayna Roselli: So funny.
- 15:19Dayna Roselli: Um, so that was a lot of fun.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: Hey, some things coming up.
- 15:22Dayna Roselli: We're not gonna get in depth because we're gonna be covering these in the future.
- 15:25Dayna Roselli: But FYI, U2 is day, um, well, U2 was here for a long time at the sphere, and they've made their concert into a concert film.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: Sean and I are going to check that out on its opening night.
- 15:37Dayna Roselli: Um, this podcast drops on a Thursday.
- 15:39Dayna Roselli: We're going that night.
- 15:40Dayna Roselli: And so we'll talk about it next week, but it's gonna be really cool for people to relive this if they've gone or if they haven't had a chance to go see you too.
- 15:50Dayna Roselli: Go in the sphere and watch this film that they've created.
- 15:54Sean McAllister: Yeah, I'm excited for that.
- 15:55Sean McAllister: Uh also coming up, um, disco show, the new Spiegel World uh entertainment spectacle that's opening over at Link.
- 16:06Sean McAllister: Um, official grand opening September 7th.
- 16:10Sean McAllister: Uh, so that probably has it's either today, tomorrow, or already happened when you're listening to this.
- 16:17Sean McAllister: Uh but Dana, you're gonna head over to that.
- 16:19Sean McAllister: I'm gonna be out of town, but I'm gonna be seeing it soon.
- 16:22Sean McAllister: Uh, but we'll cover that next week as well.
- 16:25Dayna Roselli: It sounds like a lot of fun.
- 16:26Dayna Roselli: And Spiegel World is always kind of wild and crazy and fun.
- 16:29Dayna Roselli: And so I look forward to see what they they did with Disco Show.
- 16:32Dayna Roselli: Uh, we also went over to Flyover Las Vegas, fly over Las Vegas, and uh there's a new Chicago show there.
- 16:39Dayna Roselli: We went on that, absolutely loved it.
- 16:41Dayna Roselli: We're gonna we interviewed some people.
- 16:43Dayna Roselli: Uh, we've got some great video too.
- 16:45Dayna Roselli: We'll be putting up on our social and one of our TV shows.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: That was a lot of fun.
- 16:49Dayna Roselli: But this Chicago show, it's called Chicago Believe, it for the first time they used drones, and so it was in and out of nooks and crannies and through the streets.
- 17:00Dayna Roselli: It's it was really cool.
- 17:01Dayna Roselli: So we'll tell you more about that as well on a future episode coming up soon.
- 17:07Sean McAllister: Uh we wanted to also talk about uh well Adele, because she has 10 shows left of her weekends with Adele residency over at Caesars Palace.
- 17:19Sean McAllister: And once those shows are done on November 23rd, uh the singer says that we're probably not gonna see her perform again for a really long time.
- 17:30Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she said she you won't see me, I'm going away, I'm taking a much needed break.
- 17:35Dayna Roselli: She's always been that way.
- 17:36Dayna Roselli: Her life, you know, which good for her personal life and everything takes um you know, takes precedence over everything.
- 17:44Dayna Roselli: Um also these remaining shows at the Coliseum, they are those the makeup shows from the shows she cancelled.
- 17:49Sean McAllister: Yes, I believe they were supposed to be spring shows in March, and those had to be postponed.
- 17:56Sean McAllister: So these are a set of makeup dates weekends with Adele.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: So like even though they weren't supposed to be the final shows where you'd catch her for the last time, now they are.
- 18:06Sean McAllister: Now they are.
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: So they're extra special.
- 18:08Sean McAllister: So Adele has been doing uh a second residency essentially over in Munich, where she's done a whole string of shows, and that's where she made this announcement.
- 18:18Sean McAllister: She told fans she was like, you know what?
- 18:20Sean McAllister: I've been performing now for three years, and which is the longest stretch of performances I've ever done.
- 18:27Sean McAllister: And she said she's really not that comfortable performing, even though she said she was like, I know I'm good at it, but I'm not it's I'm not that comfortable with it.
- 18:36Sean McAllister: So after these shows in Las Vegas, I am done for a while.
- 18:41Sean McAllister: So if you have tickets to these shows, which I believe they're sold out.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: If there's single tickets, if there's resale, this just made the the the price of these tickets skyrocket, I'm sure.
- 18:55Dayna Roselli: What timing?
- 18:56Sean McAllister: No kidding.
- 18:56Dayna Roselli: It's good for Vegas.
- 18:59Dayna Roselli: Her last 10 shows for a long time.
- 19:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 19:02Dayna Roselli: And you know, people have been talking, there's been rumors, you know, Adele might want to have a baby and all these things she's planned for this long break.
- 19:09Dayna Roselli: We'll see.
- 19:10Dayna Roselli: I wish her the best.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: She has been fabulous for Vegas.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: People have loved her show, never heard a bad thing.
- 19:15Dayna Roselli: She seems like she really makes it very personal, entertains the crowd, works the room.
- 19:21Dayna Roselli: She knows how to do it.
- 19:22Sean McAllister: She does.
- 19:23Sean McAllister: And we've talked about this before.
- 19:24Sean McAllister: Every single show that she has done has made headlines for one reason or another.
- 19:30Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 19:30Sean McAllister: Because of interactions she's had with the crowd, or because of celebrities who were at the show, or, you know, any number of reasons, but she, you're right, she has been great for Las Vegas.
- 19:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, really good.
- 19:44Dayna Roselli: All right, let's talk about these travel points in this Bellagio show.
- 19:48Dayna Roselli: Um, because I was reading this, and and when we did it on the television show, you were saying this person that got to choreograph the Bellagio show actually used over a million Marriott Bonvoy points, which I didn't realize.
- 20:02Sean McAllister: Yeah, 2.4 million.
- 20:04Dayna Roselli: Oh, really?
- 20:04Dayna Roselli: 2.4?
- 20:05Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 20:06Sean McAllister: Absolutely crazy.
- 20:07Sean McAllister: His name is Scott Krupa.
- 20:08Sean McAllister: He's an accountant from Atlanta, Georgia.
- 20:12Sean McAllister: Um, and he had so many Marriott Bonvoy points that he used those to bid.
- 20:18Sean McAllister: So basically, what happened here?
- 20:20Sean McAllister: Marriott Bonvoy partnered with MGM Resorts to offer this unique opportunity to design a Bellagio fountain show.
- 20:32Sean McAllister: And so, you know, Marriott Bonvoy members, if you had enough points, you could bid on this experience.
- 20:38Sean McAllister: And Scott won it for two almost two and a half million points.
- 20:42Sean McAllister: Now, I don't know what kind of travel you need to do to rack up that many points.
- 20:48Dayna Roselli: He must do a lot of business travel or something.
- 20:50Sean McAllister: He's got to.
- 20:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 20:51Sean McAllister: And I feel like he's not like uh uh like just a sit at the your desk kind of accountant.
- 20:59Sean McAllister: I feel like he's kind of a big deal and he owns his own accounting company.
- 21:02Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 21:03Dayna Roselli: The big question is is he single?
- 21:06Dayna Roselli: No, I don't believe he's gonna be a good one.
- 21:08Dayna Roselli: I can do some travel in my life.
- 21:11Sean McAllister: I don't believe he is.
- 21:13Dayna Roselli: Okay, he's not single.
- 21:14Dayna Roselli: Sorry about that.
- 21:15Dayna Roselli: I didn't mean to backtrack.
- 21:17Dayna Roselli: But this was also part of um Bellagio debuting uh um its 40th show, so big milestone.
- 21:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 21:25Dayna Roselli: And he set this choreographed show to A Beautiful Day by you too.
- 21:31Dayna Roselli: And so that's kind of cool.
- 21:33Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 21:33Sean McAllister: A good addition to the lineup.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 21:36Dayna Roselli: So good for um Scott Krupa.
- 21:40Dayna Roselli: Sean's left and still the asked if he was single.
- 21:44Dayna Roselli: Oh, we're terrible.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: I was even when we were talking college football, I was gonna tell you there was a lot of good looking LSU fans at the win over the weekend, by the way.
- 21:53Dayna Roselli: I don't usually turn my head that many times, but I was like, do I need to go hang out at LSU?
- 21:58Dayna Roselli: I mean, I know college kids.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: Young, but there were like older, I'm saying fans.
- 22:03Dayna Roselli: Like alumno.
- 22:04Dayna Roselli: I'm not talking college kids.
- 22:05Dayna Roselli: I'm not on the hunt for a 19-year-old.
- 22:09Dayna Roselli: But I was like, do I need to go like lay out a blanket in the courtyard at LSU and just hang out there for a weekend?
- 22:16Sean McAllister: Listen, I the reason I'm not going to be in town for disco show is because I'm going up to Salt Lake City for a Utah Utes football game.
- 22:27Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 22:28Sean McAllister: They're playing Baylor.
- 22:29Sean McAllister: So listen, everything about the college football vibe, the tailgating, the game itself, it's a blast.
- 22:36Sean McAllister: The lookers.
- 22:37Sean McAllister: You would love it.
- 22:38Dayna Roselli: I would love it.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: I do love, you know, I love football.
- 22:42Dayna Roselli: I love my football football TV shows.
- 22:44Dayna Roselli: All American I watch, Friday Night Lights, one of my favorites, all that stuff.
- 22:48Dayna Roselli: I'm into it.
- 22:49Dayna Roselli: But anyway, yeah, I did notice there was a lot of, you know, nice-looking LSU fans in town.
- 22:56Dayna Roselli: And it takes a lot for me to turn my head because I'm closed off to that stuff.
- 23:00Dayna Roselli: Anyway, back to the fountains.
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: Hey, Bellagio Fountains.
- 23:04Dayna Roselli: If you want to see those, we do get a lot of questions about this.
- 23:06Dayna Roselli: When do the Bellagio Fountains actually run?
- 23:09Dayna Roselli: And so, you know, they put this in the press release, and I thought we should remind people so they don't have to go stand there all day.
- 23:15Dayna Roselli: But it's every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, 3 p.m.
- 23:19Dayna Roselli: to 8 p.m., Saturday and holidays, noon to 8, Sundays 3 to 8.
- 23:26Dayna Roselli: Also every 15 minutes, daily 8 p.m.
- 23:29Dayna Roselli: to midnight, and Sunday, 11 a.m.
- 23:32Dayna Roselli: to 3 p.m.
- 23:33Dayna Roselli: Does that make sense?
- 23:34Sean McAllister: Just hit the rewind button and uh write down all those times.
- 23:39Sean McAllister: Because there's a lot of different days and times and basically it runs every 30 minutes during the day.
- 23:47Sean McAllister: And at night it bumps up to every 15 minutes.
- 23:49Sean McAllister: That's a good way to find it.
- 23:50Sean McAllister: Essentially.
- 23:50Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 23:50Dayna Roselli: No, that's right.
- 23:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: So, you know, you don't have to stand there that long.
- 23:55Dayna Roselli: 30 minutes, 15 minutes, it's pretty good.
- 23:57Dayna Roselli: But keep in mind it starts, you know, more midday during the week.
- 24:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:03Dayna Roselli: 11 a.m.
- 24:04Dayna Roselli: on the weekends.
- 24:05Sean McAllister: Uh let's get into some of the restaurants that we visited lately.
- 24:09Sean McAllister: Um I got an invitation to stop over at Pasta Cucina over at Sunset Station, which is one of the station casino properties that is in uh Henderson on the east side of the Las Vegas Valley.
- 24:24Sean McAllister: Um and stopped in there.
- 24:26Sean McAllister: And first of all, it is just such a pretty space.
- 24:30Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 24:31Sean McAllister: When you're stepping in, it looks like you're dining on this open-air Italian piazza.
- 24:37Sean McAllister: There's the it looks like the sky is painted on the ceiling.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: It's like an Italian garden.
- 24:43Sean McAllister: Like an Italian garden.
- 24:46Sean McAllister: Exactly, like an Italian garden.
- 24:48Dayna Roselli: Sorry, that's an inside joke with me and Sean.
- 24:50Dayna Roselli: I am just going off in a million tangents.
- 24:52Dayna Roselli: There was an Olive Garden review from like 1985 that we get a kick out of.
- 24:56Dayna Roselli: And they say it looks like an Italian garden.
- 24:58Dayna Roselli: Back to your thing.
- 24:59Dayna Roselli: It looks like an Italian open-air garden.
- 25:02Sean McAllister: It does.
- 25:02Sean McAllister: And there's lemon trees that are planted all throughout the dining patio.
- 25:08Sean McAllister: Um, and it's great.
- 25:10Sean McAllister: They just redid their menu over there.
- 25:13Sean McAllister: We started with the uh mozzarella, which is like a big square chunk of the fried mozzarella.
- 25:21Sean McAllister: Their meatballs were delicious.
- 25:23Sean McAllister: Uh the Bianca pizza, which had uh prosciutto, some arugula, um that was yummy.
- 25:30Sean McAllister: And keep in mind, this uh the style of pizza that they have is I would say the crust is a little more on the um like the softer side.
- 25:41Sean McAllister: Like it's not the crisp, super crisp, thin pizza crust.
- 25:45Sean McAllister: I know people are very particular about their style of pizza.
- 25:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they are, especially my dad.
- 25:50Dayna Roselli: He gets very into Oh, does he?
- 25:52Dayna Roselli: He likes his pizza crispy.
- 25:53Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 25:54Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 25:54Sean McAllister: All right.
- 25:54Sean McAllister: Well, tell dad stick to the pasta.
- 25:57Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 25:58Dayna Roselli: Good to know.
- 25:59Sean McAllister: Even though this was good pizza, it's not that style.
- 26:02Dayna Roselli: Got it.
- 26:02Sean McAllister: Um for the main course we had some chicken marsala, the rigatoni a la vodka, which by the way, they uh use peppers in the sauce, like spicy peppers in the sauce.
- 26:14Sean McAllister: So there's uh some heat to it, but it's no, there's spice to it, but not really heat.
- 26:19Sean McAllister: I got it, if that makes sense.
- 26:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 26:22Sean McAllister: Um a lot of classics.
- 26:23Sean McAllister: We had the seafood for a diablo, that was delicious.
- 26:28Sean McAllister: Um some really good stuff.
- 26:30Sean McAllister: They also just launched a brunch, which on the first Sunday of each month, they do a brunch uh over there at Pasta Cucina as well.
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: Okay, and we have a video up on our social media account, our reels, actually.
- 26:45Dayna Roselli: So Vegas revealed reels.
- 26:48Dayna Roselli: You'll see what Sean's talking about if you go there, if you want to look at the inside and look at some of the food as well, because it's a good little descriptor.
- 26:55Dayna Roselli: I went over to Peter Luger Steakhouse at Caesars Palace.
- 26:59Dayna Roselli: You and I went to the opening, but I hadn't been for a sit-down dinner.
- 27:02Sean McAllister: Yeah, neither have I.
- 27:03Dayna Roselli: Had a friend in town that's originally from the New York City area, knows Peter Luger's restaurant there, and said, I want to go to the Peter Luger in Las Vegas when I'm in town.
- 27:12Dayna Roselli: So we went, fabulous dinner.
- 27:14Dayna Roselli: Wait staff was incredible.
- 27:15Dayna Roselli: It was a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was packed.
- 27:18Sean McAllister: Wow.
- 27:19Dayna Roselli: Full.
- 27:19Dayna Roselli: We had to get a reservation.
- 27:20Dayna Roselli: We couldn't get one on Monday.
- 27:21Dayna Roselli: We had to get it on Tuesday.
- 27:22Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 27:23Dayna Roselli: Um, so very busy.
- 27:25Dayna Roselli: And this isn't the old Rayo spot, just in case you didn't know.
- 27:29Dayna Roselli: Um, it's been open for almost a year, and I just loved the staff.
- 27:35Dayna Roselli: They were so nice.
- 27:36Dayna Roselli: The food was absolutely delicious.
- 27:38Dayna Roselli: We got the wedge salad, and it's incredible.
- 27:41Dayna Roselli: It has those chunks of the really thick bacon on it.
- 27:44Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 27:44Dayna Roselli: Blue cheese.
- 27:45Dayna Roselli: I highly recommend the wedge.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: Um, we got a strip steak.
- 27:49Dayna Roselli: It comes out sizzling, and we got it medium, but they brought it out a little rare in the middle, and then like kind of finished cooking it right in front of us on the plate that was sizzling.
- 28:01Sean McAllister: I've not seen that before.
- 28:03Dayna Roselli: Oh, it was really cool and an experience, right?
- 28:06Dayna Roselli: To watch.
- 28:07Dayna Roselli: And then the Peter uh Luger steak sauce is amazing.
- 28:11Sean McAllister: Um have some in my cabinet.
- 28:13Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 28:13Dayna Roselli: Well, it's expired because I kept mine long too and went to look at it, and it's expired.
- 28:18Dayna Roselli: You have to use it in a timely manner.
- 28:19Dayna Roselli: Oh, really?
- 28:20Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 28:20Dayna Roselli: I was bummed.
- 28:21Dayna Roselli: Oh, wow.
- 28:22Dayna Roselli: I was just talking about that.
- 28:23Dayna Roselli: Darn it.
- 28:24Dayna Roselli: I went to use it the other day and I was like, whoops, I didn't realize we were supposed to use this like within a few months.
- 28:30Dayna Roselli: Oh no.
- 28:30Dayna Roselli: I know, bummer.
- 28:32Dayna Roselli: But you know, try it, boil it or something.
- 28:35Dayna Roselli: Um listen, we got the cream spinach.
- 28:38Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 28:38Dayna Roselli: It's they're known for their German potatoes.
- 28:41Dayna Roselli: We got that.
- 28:41Dayna Roselli: Here's my tip: we got one steak and split it.
- 28:45Dayna Roselli: They do have a steak for two, but it's a lot.
- 28:48Dayna Roselli: And so my friend is kind of really knows his steakhouse.
- 28:50Dayna Roselli: He's I think we only need one steak.
- 28:52Dayna Roselli: So we got one steak, one German potatoes, one creamed spinach, one wedge.
- 28:57Dayna Roselli: They split it in half and put it on two separate plates for us, and it was enough.
- 29:02Sean McAllister: And they're happy to split it for you.
- 29:04Dayna Roselli: Yep, happy to split it for you.
- 29:05Sean McAllister: Great.
- 29:06Dayna Roselli: We also got two martinis um and just had water for the rest of the buttons.
- 29:11Dayna Roselli: So I want to tell you the bill because Peter Luger could be a more expensive steakhouse, and it was just over 200 for all of that.
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: Wasn't terrible.
- 29:19Sean McAllister: That's not bad.
- 29:19Sean McAllister: No, it wasn't bad.
- 29:20Sean McAllister: Two people.
- 29:21Dayna Roselli: So, yeah, two people.
- 29:22Sean McAllister: At a really nice elevated spot.
- 29:24Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 29:24Dayna Roselli: So we we were splurging.
- 29:26Dayna Roselli: Our birthdays are both in September.
- 29:28Dayna Roselli: We're good friends, and every year he comes to Vegas uh to do a little gambling, and we always kind of pick a s a spot that we haven't been and go there.
- 29:36Dayna Roselli: And so, you know, it was an occasion.
- 29:38Sean McAllister: Did you get a candle in your steak?
- 29:40Dayna Roselli: I didn't get a candle in my steak, but my waiter did give me a whole stack of the Peter Luger chocolate coins to go.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: I brought you over some today.
- 29:48Sean McAllister: Yeah, I'm looking at them right now.
- 29:51Dayna Roselli: So anyway, those are two restaurants we had uh gone to recently, one off the strip, one on the st strip, and and there you have it.
- 29:59Sean McAllister: Uh we mentioned football earlier, uh college football.
- 30:02Sean McAllister: Obviously, it is fall.
- 30:04Sean McAllister: There are gonna be there's gonna be football all over the place.
- 30:09Sean McAllister: We have hockey starting up soon, we have basketball happening, we have baseball.
- 30:13Sean McAllister: So there are a lot of sports happening, and there's a new sports book that just opened over at the Suncoast Casino, which is on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley.
- 30:25Sean McAllister: In is it in Summerlin or is it Summerlin adjacent?
- 30:28Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 30:29Dayna Roselli: Because I know Tibbley Village isn't in Summerlin.
- 30:33Dayna Roselli: So this is across the street-ish from that, so I'm not sure.
- 30:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, so it's it's near Summerlin.
- 30:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it could still be City of Las Vegas.
- 30:40Sean McAllister: Uh, but their new sports book that they just opened up, they had a ribbon cutting, they placed the the first bet.
- 30:45Sean McAllister: Um, it's a really nice looking space.
- 30:48Sean McAllister: It is.
- 30:49Sean McAllister: They have lounge seating throughout with some couches if you want to get really comfy to settle in and watch a game.
- 30:55Sean McAllister: Uh huge wrap-around LED screens um that can uh I imagine be configured to whatever to have as many or as few, you know, games up on those uh screens as possible.
- 31:11Sean McAllister: Bedding windows where you can walk up, talk to a person, or they put in several uh kiosks as well.
- 31:17Sean McAllister: A pretty big bar with some bar top gaming machines.
- 31:20Dayna Roselli: It looks nice.
- 31:21Sean McAllister: Yeah, it it looks really nice.
- 31:23Sean McAllister: We just wanted to let you know Suncoast has an all-new sports book now that we are in full fall sports season.
- 31:31Dayna Roselli: And sports books, you know, are are so popular here that they do fill up, especially when there are big games on.
- 31:37Dayna Roselli: They do.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: So we just like to give you other options, like maybe maybe you just take a trip off the strip, or if you're listening and you're from Las Vegas, you know, and you're looking for a new sports book to go watch a game, maybe Suncoast is it for you.
- 31:48Dayna Roselli: So could be a good idea.
- 31:51Dayna Roselli: Hey, wanted to mention an event um coming up.
- 31:54Dayna Roselli: Uh friend of mine, long time I don't know if I'd call him a hairdresser.
- 31:58Dayna Roselli: Is the hairdresser or an old stylist?
- 32:00Dayna Roselli: Celebrity stylist.
- 32:01Dayna Roselli: Celebrity stylist.
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: I'm like going like that's you know, old school.
- 32:05Dayna Roselli: Um, but Michael Boycak, he's an amazing, amazing stylist.
- 32:10Dayna Roselli: He's had a salon at Caesars Palace for a long time.
- 32:13Dayna Roselli: Michael Boycuk is known for doing blondes really well.
- 32:18Dayna Roselli: Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Britney Spheres.
- 32:22Dayna Roselli: And he has a great salon at Caesars.
- 32:24Dayna Roselli: He's doing a girl's night out, little black dress party.
- 32:28Dayna Roselli: Um, and this is all to benefit the Animal Foundation.
- 32:31Dayna Roselli: He is a big supporter of animals and really wanted to have like a, you know, attachment to giving back.
- 32:41Dayna Roselli: And he's doing this in partner with Vegas, uh, My Vegas magazine.
- 32:45Dayna Roselli: And it's at Hairdream Salon.
- 32:47Dayna Roselli: It's Wednesday, September 25th from 6 to 9 p.m.
- 32:51Dayna Roselli: There's gonna be food, fun, raffle, prizes, music, all of that.
- 32:55Dayna Roselli: So if you'd like to go, I would say go to MyVegas magazine on Instagram, and they've got a link there where you can RSVP.
- 33:03Dayna Roselli: It's free to attend, but they do want to get a count.
- 33:05Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 33:06Sean McAllister: Uh Michael's a great guy.
- 33:07Sean McAllister: I love that he's doing this.
- 33:09Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 33:09Dayna Roselli: Such a great person, great human.
- 33:12Dayna Roselli: So get out there and support, and it could be really fun.
- 33:14Dayna Roselli: They're gonna have a lot of uh Vegas entertainers there too, and so it's gonna be great times.
- 33:19Dayna Roselli: So FYI if you're looking for something to do on September 25th from 6 to 9.

- 33:58Dayna Roselli: All right, let's get to those tips now.
- 34:04Dayna Roselli: We've already had a lot of tips in the show, but for our tips segment, we always like to pick two standouts.
- 34:10Dayna Roselli: One of them is Bramare, and this is a new Italian restaurant off the strip, but close to the strip.
- 34:18Dayna Roselli: In fact, it's in a plaza where you, if you go to this parking lot, you can look and see the sphere right down the road.
- 34:23Dayna Roselli: Really well, yeah.
- 34:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's on Paradise, just north of Flamingo.
- 34:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's right there at Corporate Drive in Paradise, if you're looking for directions.
- 34:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, good little plaza over there.
- 34:36Dayna Roselli: Um, it's the same owners that run and open Pieros years ago.
- 34:40Dayna Roselli: Um, Evan Glossman, his dad, open and runs Piero's.
- 34:45Dayna Roselli: Uh, he's now taken over, but he has other restaurants around town um with a partner, and they're fabulous.
- 34:52Dayna Roselli: So anyway, they opened a primare, and I went in there a couple times, twice so far, because I love the shrimp Caesar salad.
- 35:00Dayna Roselli: It's amazing.
- 35:01Dayna Roselli: And sometimes I just want a little something.
- 35:03Dayna Roselli: Me and my friend go down there and went in recently, was talking to the chef, and they're like, you have to try uh this appetizer, this broccoli rami.
- 35:10Dayna Roselli: It was amazing.
- 35:12Dayna Roselli: Then we got a pizza, and so I've had quite a bit there.
- 35:15Dayna Roselli: The food is fantastic.
- 35:16Dayna Roselli: But what I wanted to talk about was they were saying, you know, it is becoming a really popular place for people in the industry because it's open 5 p.m.
- 35:26Dayna Roselli: to 3 a.m., Sean.
- 35:27Sean McAllister: So I this kind of goes back to the conversation we were having here on the podcast a few months ago about the the lack of places to go and get a meal late night.
- 35:39Sean McAllister: Right.
- 35:39Sean McAllister: And this fills that much needed late night void.
- 35:43Dayna Roselli: It's so true.
- 35:44Dayna Roselli: And even uh some of the workers there were like, oh, they're just getting in and they were tired, and they were like, We we were like just got off work at 5 a.m.
- 35:50Dayna Roselli: because by the time we shut down and closed and everything like that, and they're like, the bar gets pretty full after midnight.
- 35:56Dayna Roselli: And so a lot of people in the industry that get off work like to go there or you know, whatever.
- 36:01Dayna Roselli: And it's close to the strip as well.
- 36:03Dayna Roselli: So you've got all those people that work in the area, um, work the nightclubs, all that kind of thing.
- 36:09Dayna Roselli: So uh they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, but they're open Tuesday through Saturday, 5 p.m.
- 36:14Dayna Roselli: to 3 a.m.
- 36:15Dayna Roselli: They also do some fun happy hours late night, and uh one of them is called the Nerdy and Dirty Weird Wines Happy Hour.
- 36:23Dayna Roselli: And they switch this menu daily, and they have a list of like uh champagnes, roses, sparkling, uh Riesling.
- 36:31Dayna Roselli: They have an orange blend on this one menu that I was looking at.
- 36:34Dayna Roselli: And what it is is the bottles are half price.
- 36:37Sean McAllister: Half?
- 36:38Dayna Roselli: Half price.
- 36:39Dayna Roselli: So if you're there's a bottle here uh for$68, it's half of that.
- 36:43Dayna Roselli: And you can get a nice bottle, sit there, and sip on some wine after work or whatever, and um becoming really popular.
- 36:50Dayna Roselli: So I love this spot.
- 36:51Dayna Roselli: I wanted to let everyone know about it, and I just thought if you live in Las Vegas and you're looking for a late night hang, that's super nice.
- 36:56Dayna Roselli: When you go in there, it's really nice.
- 36:58Dayna Roselli: Um, it's cool, they've got a great bar area, and um, it's it's kind of like golds and chocolates and uh no windows.
- 37:07Dayna Roselli: So you're in there and it's it's cool.
- 37:09Dayna Roselli: But um, it's over there, like you said, on Paradise, right near that corporate center area.
- 37:14Sean McAllister: All right, so Bramare over there.
- 37:16Sean McAllister: Uh, check that out.
- 37:18Sean McAllister: Uh, we also wanted to let you know about um this flare bartending competition that's happening down on the strip at the Allied Esports Arena.
- 37:29Sean McAllister: Um this is over inside the Luxor.
- 37:32Sean McAllister: Uh but it this kind of came to mind because uh we just posted not too long ago that video of from my cruise that I took over the summer up to Alaska where the bartender did that huge pour of stacked mixing cups and poured all the martinis out and one giant line.
- 37:54Sean McAllister: Well, we're gonna be seeing a lot of that kind of thing at this competition where um the the prize pool is 25,000 bucks.
- 38:04Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 38:04Sean McAllister: Which is the largest prize pool that they've had in the past decade.
- 38:09Sean McAllister: That's big.
- 38:10Sean McAllister: So for these bartenders who are competing, that's a a big tip that they could earn right there.
- 38:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's a big tip, right?
- 38:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it's at the Hyper X arena.
- 38:20Dayna Roselli: Allied esports is hosting this.
- 38:22Dayna Roselli: It's called the World Bar Flare Competition.
- 38:26Dayna Roselli: Best part is all day there's gonna be qualifying rounds so you can go and watch, and doors open at 8 a.m.
- 38:32Dayna Roselli: and you can go watch for free.
- 38:34Dayna Roselli: There was kind of a lengthy um like an evite link that you need to RSVP to to get the tickets.
- 38:41Dayna Roselli: Instead of like saying that all out, I'm just gonna put a link in our show notes.
- 38:45Dayna Roselli: So go there if you want to, you know, get in to watch this.
- 38:49Dayna Roselli: It's September 10th on Tuesday, and so coming up here shortly from when the podcast drops.
- 38:56Dayna Roselli: But hopefully you can get out there and watch.
- 38:58Dayna Roselli: We figured this is a good tip if you're looking for something to do that day.
- 39:01Dayna Roselli: The qualifying rounds uh starting around, you know, the as I said, the doors open at 8 a.m.
- 39:06Dayna Roselli: And then they expect the finals to begin about 8 p.m.
- 39:10Dayna Roselli: So there's a full day there.
- 39:12Dayna Roselli: But if you just want to see the finals, that's 8 p.m.
- 39:14Dayna Roselli: And I have a feeling you'll have to RSVP to that soon.
- 39:16Sean McAllister: So it's like first, before you go over there, watch Cocktail with Tom Cruise.
- 39:22Sean McAllister: I know.
- 39:22Dayna Roselli: Who doesn't love Tom Cruise?
- 39:23Sean McAllister: Get you in the mood.
- 39:24Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 39:25Dayna Roselli: And they probably come such a long way since then, right?
- 39:27Dayna Roselli: Oh, the fancy checks.
- 39:29Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 39:29Dayna Roselli: Like your Alaskan Cruz.
- 39:31Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 39:31Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
