Speaker 2: All righty, 3.05 in the afternoon, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Welcome
• 0:08
Speaker 2: to Wednesday. Another gorgeous day, is it not? Wednesday, October 21st,
• 0:12
Speaker 2: we're sitting with 69 degrees. Sun is shining. It's just
• 0:16
Speaker 2: an absolutely perfect afternoon weather-wise. And they seem to mean
• 0:20
Speaker 2: a lot more to us this time of the year
• 0:22
Speaker 2: because we know it's going to change before too long
• 0:24
Speaker 2: as we get closer and closer to the end of October.
• 0:27
Speaker 2: And we get into the lousy weather here in the
• 0:29
Speaker 2: great state of Ohio. But you just appreciate these terrific
• 0:33
Speaker 2: days much better, obviously, like you have today. And it's
• 0:36
Speaker 2: looking good, I mean, for the rest of the week.
• 0:39
Speaker 2: I think last I checked, they said the first chance
• 0:41
Speaker 2: of rain might be on Tuesday. So, so far, so good.
• 0:44
Speaker 2: As I always say to you, I want to get through,
• 0:46
Speaker 2: have a beautiful October and frankly, November. And if then
• 0:50
Speaker 2: once I get through November, then I say, let's get
• 0:53
Speaker 2: through December without any snow. And then winter goes by
• 0:56
Speaker 2: pretty quick, January, February, and boom, you're right back. Pretty
• 1:00
Speaker 2: close to springtime. A little optimistic thinking here at the
• 1:04
Speaker 2: beginning of the broadcast today. Speaking of optimistic, I was
• 1:07
Speaker 2: just thinking about something. I was talking with Joe Kovach,
• 1:11
Speaker 2: Rockport's wealth advisor. And when it comes to housing. How
• 1:18
Speaker 2: many times have I heard about people talking about houses
• 1:20
Speaker 2: and they're never going to be able to afford a
• 1:23
Speaker 2: home and all this kind of stuff that goes on?
• 1:26
Speaker 2: And if you take a look at what's going on
• 1:28
Speaker 2: in housing right now, obviously interest rates have gone up.
• 1:31
Speaker 2: And what's the goal of when they raise interest rates
• 1:34
Speaker 2: is to squelch demand, right? It's to make it more
• 1:38
Speaker 2: difficult for you to buy stuff, right? That's what it does.
• 1:41
Speaker 2: And if you squelch demands, that means prices usually come down.
• 1:45
Speaker 2: It's supply and demands, kind of basic economics. So what
• 1:49
Speaker 2: you're seeing right now with housing, I just put this
• 1:52
Speaker 2: out there, a little optimism for the folks that are saying,
• 1:55
Speaker 2: I don't know, will we ever be able to afford
• 1:57
Speaker 2: a house? There's two things that are going on right now.
• 1:59
Speaker 2: You have higher interest rates, so there's less activity as
• 2:03
Speaker 2: far as house sales are concerned. So you see houses
• 2:07
Speaker 2: sitting on a market longer, and it's a buyer's market now,
• 2:11
Speaker 2: not necessarily. Remember the seller's markets when you put it
• 2:14
Speaker 2: on the market and you'd get beyond asking price? Well,
• 2:18
Speaker 2: those days have changed, pretty much changed in the vast
• 2:22
Speaker 2: majority of the country where it's a buyer's market, where
• 2:24
Speaker 2: people are putting it on the markets and waiting for
• 2:28
Speaker 2: offers and waiting for offers and waiting for offers. And
• 2:32
Speaker 2: the price comes down and the price gets lowered. So
• 2:35
Speaker 2: you can see housing prices are starting to decline as
• 2:38
Speaker 2: a result of some of the interest rates hikes that
• 2:42
Speaker 2: are out there. So it's lowering the price of houses, hopefully,
• 2:46
Speaker 2: so more people can afford them as time goes on.
• 2:49
Speaker 2: And then, as I point out, in addition to that,
• 2:52
Speaker 2: the baby boomers are dying off. And this is the
• 2:56
Speaker 2: economic reality, being part of the baby boomer generation. The
• 3:00
Speaker 2: end of it, a lot of people in the baby
• 3:02
Speaker 2: boomer generation are passing away. So last time I checked,
• 3:06
Speaker 2: you can't take it with you. And so consequently, you'll
• 3:10
Speaker 2: see more and more houses go on the market for
• 3:12
Speaker 2: sale as a result of death. And so time and
• 3:18
Speaker 2: time marches on. So there's two things that I think
• 3:20
Speaker 2: will affect housing prices as time goes on that will
• 3:24
Speaker 2: be favorable for the consumer. Uh, Obviously, high interest rates
• 3:29
Speaker 2: isn't favorable for the consumer, but it's accomplishing what it
• 3:32
Speaker 2: wants to accomplish, which is lower demands and lower prices
• 3:37
Speaker 2: for the house that you might be looking at buying.
• 3:41
Speaker 2: And secondly, the death of the baby boomers. As that
• 3:44
Speaker 2: goes on, and that's a large part of housing that
• 3:48
Speaker 2: is out there and that will be on the markets
• 3:50
Speaker 2: and available. So I'm optimistic for the folks that are
• 3:56
Speaker 2: of the younger generation that are thinking about their housing needs,
• 4:01
Speaker 2: give it some time. I think you'll be pleased that
• 4:05
Speaker 2: you'll be able to afford a house. I hear so
• 4:07
Speaker 2: many people say, ah, the inflation, I'm never going to
• 4:09
Speaker 2: be able to have a home. And I do think
• 4:11
Speaker 2: time can change those scenarios by those two reasons, death
• 4:15
Speaker 2: of baby boomers and the interest rates. So Things change.
• 4:18
Speaker 2: It's just like anything. If there's less building going on
• 4:22
Speaker 2: because of high interest rates, well, all of a sudden,
• 4:25
Speaker 2: that cost for that two-by-four comes down in price. Now,
• 4:28
Speaker 2: I'm not saying this stuff is going to go back
• 4:30
Speaker 2: to what it was pre-COVID or anything like that because
• 4:35
Speaker 2: there are things that don't change. I mean, obviously— Employers
• 4:39
Speaker 2: are paying more for health care benefits. Employers are paying
• 4:41
Speaker 2: more for wages. So there are built-in costs that cause
• 4:45
Speaker 2: you to raise the price of the item. But hopefully
• 4:49
Speaker 2: you can get some of those costs to drop as
• 4:51
Speaker 2: time goes on based on supply and demand now. If
• 4:54
Speaker 2: people aren't buying the stuff, what do you do? Have
• 4:56
Speaker 2: a sale, mark it down. If you can get housing
• 5:00
Speaker 2: in line and if you can get transportation, cars, trucks, SUVs,
• 5:04
Speaker 2: get the price of those down and groceries and energy down.
• 5:08
Speaker 2: I think we'll all be in a better place. We
• 5:10
Speaker 2: shall see. We are at a time, boys and girls, class,
• 5:14
Speaker 2: we are at a time, and I am more convinced
• 5:17
Speaker 2: of it than ever, as I look at the polling
• 5:20
Speaker 2: that is taking place right here in the great state
• 5:22
Speaker 2: of Ohio. And this is what is deeply disturbing, troubling,
• 5:30
Speaker 2: and concerning to me. To a certain extent, I think
• 5:37
Speaker 2: we're raising a lot of wusses. What did he say?
• 5:42
Speaker 2: You heard what I said. We're raising a lot of wusses.
• 5:47
Speaker 2: I am to the point where I think just people
• 5:49
Speaker 2: expect things, that they're owed things. They expect things, they're
• 5:55
Speaker 2: owed things, they're victims if they don't have them. And
• 6:01
Speaker 2: I think this is becoming of epidemic proportions. What's the
• 6:07
Speaker 2: government going to do for me? Health care is a right,
• 6:12
Speaker 2: not a responsibility. They just expect things to expect things.
• 6:20
Speaker 2: And that's why you see these Democrat socialists that seem
• 6:27
Speaker 2: to get hold of some people that are younger basically saying, hey, listen,
• 6:33
Speaker 2: the system just isn't fair. And if you go with
• 6:38
Speaker 2: our mentality, the Democrat Socialist will take from this person
• 6:41
Speaker 2: and will give it to you. Now, we know this
• 6:46
Speaker 2: doesn't work, but for some reason, a lot of people
• 6:48
Speaker 2: are buying into it. And you see it with some
• 6:51
Speaker 2: of these far-left Democrat Socialist candidates that are winning in primaries.
• 6:56
Speaker 2: And who knows if they might win in the general election.
• 6:58
Speaker 2: Only time will tell. But I sit back, even in
• 7:04
Speaker 2: the state of Ohio, when I look at this polling,
• 7:06
Speaker 2: and the polling in Ohio shows Amy Acton and Sherrod
• 7:13
Speaker 2: Brown winning. That's what it shows. Now, I'll be the
• 7:19
Speaker 2: first to say, I mean, is Houston a great candidate?
• 7:22
  Speaker 3: No.
• 7:24
Speaker 2: But I'll be voting for them. I sure won't vote
• 7:28
Speaker 2: for Sherrod Brown. And I say this to you guys
• 7:30
Speaker 2: all the time. I cannot vote for Sherrod Brown, a
• 7:33
Speaker 2: guy that supported everything Joe Biden did. I can't vote
• 7:39
Speaker 2: for Sherrod Brown. He's a progressive left guy. I'm not
• 7:44
Speaker 2: for tearing down statues and whitewashing history. I'm not for
• 7:50
Speaker 2: renaming Columbus Day Indigenous Peoples Day. I'm not for getting
• 7:58
Speaker 2: rid of, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, mother and father,
• 8:02
Speaker 2: and replacing it with birthing person. You must accept transgenderism.
• 8:08
Speaker 2: You must accept gay marriage. You must accept all of
• 8:10
  Speaker 2: this stuff. And if you don't, you're a bigot. There's
• 8:12
Speaker 2: something wrong with you. We don't care about your religious beliefs.
• 8:16
Speaker 2: And we want to put it in your school system, too.
• 8:20
Speaker 2: I just don't go with any of that stuff, as
• 8:21
Speaker 2: I said to you numerous times, that Sherrod Brown supported.
• 8:26
Speaker 2: There's so much more to me in this upcoming election
• 8:29
Speaker 2: than just the price of a gallon of gas. Not
• 8:33
Speaker 2: that that isn't important. There's so much more to me.
• 8:38
Speaker 2: I looked at the bizarreness. I don't go for open borders.
• 8:43
Speaker 2: I'm watching this situation in New York where you have
• 8:47
Speaker 2: this guy that was shot that was here illegally with
• 8:51
Speaker 2: a substantial criminal record.
• 8:55
  Speaker 4: And they're.
• 8:58
Speaker 2: They're glorifying him and vilifying the police or Homeland security
• 9:03
Speaker 2: or the border people. So they're glorifying. This is a
• 9:09
Speaker 2: far left. They're glorifying a guy that was in this
• 9:11
Speaker 2: country illegally with a big criminal record fleeing your folks
• 9:24
Speaker 2: that want to enforce our laws. ultimately gets shot and killed,
• 9:30
Speaker 2: and the far left forgets all of the person's backgrounds,
• 9:34
Speaker 2: and they vilify the police, and they glorify the criminal. Now,
• 9:39
  Speaker 2: I just think that's ridiculous. I think it's stupid. And
• 9:45
Speaker 2: this is where the far left is. This is where
• 9:49
Speaker 2: your Sherrod Browns are and your Amy Actons are. Make
• 9:53
Speaker 2: no mistake about it. I said it to you, and
• 9:56
Speaker 2: I'll say it to you again. If you think the
• 9:58
Speaker 2: Democrats are the answer to better... fuel prices, whether that's
• 10:01
Speaker 2: heating oil, gasoline, diesel, they hate fossil fuels. They say it.
• 10:10
Speaker 2: Biden has said it. They're perfectly happy with Well, you
• 10:15
Speaker 2: happen to see it. Putting regulations down to make it
• 10:18
Speaker 2: difficult to drill on federal lands or offshore, making it
• 10:21
Speaker 2: more difficult for drilling. Supply and demand, you make it
• 10:25
Speaker 2: more difficult. With oil, it's something that you've got to replenish.
• 10:32
Speaker 2: Wells go dry. You've got to keep drilling. And they
• 10:35
Speaker 2: want to make it more difficult for that to be
• 10:37
Speaker 2: the case. So if you think you're going to be
• 10:39
Speaker 2: better off with energy prices, I don't care if it's electricity,
• 10:43
Speaker 2: natural gas, diesel, gasoline, you name it. If you think
• 10:48
Speaker 2: you're going to be better off with your energy prices
• 10:50
Speaker 2: under Democrats, you're fooling yourself. They are against fossil fuels.
• 10:57
Speaker 2: They want to force people to have electric stoves. They
• 10:59
Speaker 2: want to force people to drive an electric car. They
• 11:05
Speaker 2: shut down coal plants in the great state of which
• 11:08
Speaker 2: we're in by regulating the amount of business, insisting that
• 11:11
Speaker 2: they be torn down. This is who the Democrats are
• 11:16
Speaker 2: when it comes to energy. So if you're worried about
• 11:18
Speaker 2: your energy costs and you think, well, I'm upset with
• 11:21
Speaker 2: Trump and that I'm going to vote for the Democrats,
• 11:23
  Speaker 2: that's a huge mistake. I can't stop you for voting
• 11:26
Speaker 2: for the Democrats, but I'll sit here and tell you
• 11:28
  Speaker 2: it's a huge mistake and you'll see. I will sit
• 11:32
Speaker 2: here and say, will you wait? You'll see. Because I
• 11:36
Speaker 2: do know this much with the high prices that we
• 11:38
Speaker 2: have now as a result of this situation with the
• 11:41
Speaker 2: wars going on in the Ukraine and also in Iran.
• 11:45
Speaker 2: I do know there's an end in sight. Once again,
• 11:50
Speaker 2: I don't know everything Trump and Rubio know as to
• 11:52
Speaker 2: why they did what they did. I'm opposed to it,
• 11:54
Speaker 2: but they certainly know more about it than I do.
• 11:57
Speaker 2: But there could be an end in sight. And when
• 11:58
Speaker 2: this ends, oil prices will go down and things will
• 12:02
Speaker 2: get back to normal. And there always is that possibility
• 12:06
Speaker 2: that it could be a much safer world as a
• 12:08
Speaker 2: result of it. We don't know. We just don't know.
• 12:15
Speaker 2: But I take my shots at that as opposed to
• 12:18
Speaker 2: the Democrats that I know hate fossil fuels or the
• 12:22
Speaker 2: Democrats that think the answer is we have to tax
• 12:25
Speaker 2: everybody more. You're not paying your fair share. We have
• 12:28
Speaker 2: to tax people more. Because we're going to Take it
• 12:34
Speaker 2: from these people. Forget the fact that you gave up
• 12:36
Speaker 2: your 20s in college to become a doctor when somebody
• 12:42
Speaker 2: else didn't do that or couldn't do that or whatever,
• 12:46
Speaker 2: didn't have a desire to do that. You gave up
• 12:49
Speaker 2: 10 years of your life, your 20s, to become a doctor,
• 12:51
Speaker 2: so you're making good money. But we should tax the
• 12:54
Speaker 2: living hell out of you. And give it to the
• 12:56
Speaker 2: person over here who decided not to make any of
• 12:59
Speaker 2: those sacrifices. Why would you want to take the incentive
• 13:02
Speaker 2: away from people that work hard? That start a business?
• 13:06
Speaker 2: That get a great education? Get a great skill? The
• 13:11
Speaker 2: incentive for them to do more and grow and make money?
• 13:16
Speaker 2: Why would you want to take that away from them?
• 13:19
Speaker 2: and say we're going to somewhat punish you and take
• 13:22
Speaker 2: that and give it to this person over here who
• 13:23
Speaker 2: doesn't have those abilities or that ambition. Never has worked,
• 13:28
Speaker 2: never will work. But I see us going in that
• 13:32
Speaker 2: direction when I see these Democrats, Socialists, basically talking how
• 13:35
Speaker 2: capitalism is so unfair. Well, as I said to you,
• 13:38
Speaker 2: as my father said, all men are created equal until
• 13:40
Speaker 2: the first school bell rings. It is unfair. There are
• 13:44
Speaker 2: people that make more than I do. There are people
• 13:46
Speaker 2: that make less than I do. That's just capitalism. That's
• 13:51
Speaker 2: how the system works. But it's a great system in
• 13:58
Speaker 2: a great country that has changed so many lives. And
• 14:01
Speaker 2: yet you have people that say, oh, no, we got
• 14:03
Speaker 2: to become socialists. I don't think so. But I'm telling you,
• 14:13
Speaker 2: I think that's where they are. So many people want
• 14:16
Speaker 2: to take their problems and make them my problems. Your
• 14:20
Speaker 2: problems should be my problems. I don't go along with that.
• 14:25
Speaker 2: If you decide to get hooked on drugs, that's your problem.
• 14:29
Speaker 2: Stop sticking me with the $ 400 a day bill for
• 14:31
Speaker 2: rehab for you time and time again. At some point,
• 14:35
Speaker 2: there's got to be personal responsibility for the decisions you make.
• 14:39
Speaker 2: Stop sticking the taxpayer with the bills for babies of
• 14:43
Speaker 2: fathers who don't want to pay child supports or mothers
• 14:46
Speaker 2: who don't want to get a job. Maybe they need
• 14:49
Speaker 2: to think about that before they go down these roads
• 14:52
Speaker 2: and the consequences to it. Just like if you start smoking,
• 14:56
Speaker 2: it increases your odds of lung cancer and having heart issues. Well,
• 15:01
Speaker 2: that's pretty good knowledge out there. So if you decide
• 15:03
Speaker 2: to smoke and that happens, don't be surprised. It's a
• 15:07
Speaker 2: decision you make. There's not always second chances to decisions.
• 15:16
Speaker 2: And that is where we are today with so many people.
• 15:19
Speaker 2: They don't want personal responsibility. Don't blame me. I'm not
• 15:24
Speaker 2: to blame. It's somebody else's fault. The government should take
• 15:28
Speaker 2: care of that. This is ridiculous. It's absolutely ridiculous. And
• 15:36
Speaker 2: you're seeing it in this country. And I think you'll
• 15:38
Speaker 2: see it in this state with Amy Acton and not
• 15:41
Speaker 2: with my votes or Sherrod Brown, not with my votes.
• 15:45
Speaker 2: Absolutely not. Comments, 330-729-9977. 330-729-9977. We'll get you through to us.
• 15:58
  Speaker 2: It's an old line, but it's a powerful line. Don't
• 16:00
Speaker 2: make your problems mine. At some point, you've got to
• 16:03
Speaker 2: own them. You make the decisions. What to do with
• 16:09
Speaker 2: your life in this great country. This great country that
• 16:13
Speaker 2: says you can live right here in Youngstown, Ohio, or
• 16:16
Speaker 2: you can decide to get in a car and drive
• 16:17
Speaker 2: to Georgia and live there tomorrow. That's called freedom. You
• 16:20
Speaker 2: can decide to go learn a skill in a trade.
• 16:23
Speaker 2: You can decide to go to college. You can decide
• 16:26
Speaker 2: on your own to open a business. You can decide
• 16:29
Speaker 2: so many things on your own. That's called freedom. Don't
• 16:34
Speaker 2: deny yourself freedom or put shackles on you when you
• 16:38
Speaker 2: do this to say you now should be punished for
• 16:41
Speaker 2: it because we're going to have socialism. Because I keep hearing, well,
• 16:45
Speaker 2: the rich don't pay their fair share. And I keep asking,
• 16:47
Speaker 2: what is their fair share? Because I know this much, 50%
• 16:51
Speaker 2: of the people in the country don't pay federal income tax.
• 16:55
Speaker 2: What about them paying their fair share for the services
• 16:58
  Speaker 2: they get?
• 16:58
  Speaker 4: 330-729-9977.
• 16:59
Speaker 2: Ron Verp from the Kingdom of Mahoning. Hi, this is
• 17:07
Speaker 2: Ron Verb. If you're looking for exceptional ideas, go to KBN.
• 17:10
Speaker 2: All right, back to it. News Radio 570, go to KBN,
• 17:13
Speaker 2: and you're on the air.
• 17:14
Speaker 5: Hey, what did you do? Did you take your smart
• 17:17
  Speaker 5: pills this morning?
• 17:18
  Speaker 3: No.
• 17:18
Speaker 5: You sounded pretty good.
• 17:20
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, just, uh, I've been doing some thanking.
• 17:25
Speaker 5: I mean, it's kind of like common sense going out
• 17:28
  Speaker 5: of there.
• 17:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just looking at it. I was listening to
• 17:31
Speaker 2: polls yesterday showing Amy Acton winning in Sherrod Brown. It
• 17:34
Speaker 2: looks like that's going to be the outcome here in Ohio.
• 17:37
  Speaker 2: And I think that's just, I just think that's stupid.
• 17:40
Speaker 2: I really think that that is absolutely stupid. If it
• 17:43
Speaker 2: wasn't for the Republicans, your re-evaluations on your current property taxes,
• 17:49
Speaker 2: you would be paying more. Because of Dave Thomas and
• 17:52
Speaker 2: the Republicans, they got that adjusted to the rate of inflation,
• 17:56
Speaker 2: not on the 20 or 30 percent re-evaluations. That benefits everybody,
• 18:00
Speaker 2: and it's solely because of the Republicans in Ohio. The
• 18:04
Speaker 2: Democrats are opposed to this kind of stuff. The Democrats
• 18:07
Speaker 2: think they should get more of your money and spend
• 18:10
Speaker 2: your money. They can spend your money better than you
• 18:12
Speaker 2: can spend your money. It's insanity.
• 18:17
  Speaker 6: It is.
• 18:17
Speaker 5: And what we have to do, you know, people going, oh,
• 18:20
Speaker 5: I'm not going to vote for these Republicans.
• 18:22
Speaker 7: Anymore, blah, blah, blah.
• 18:25
Speaker 5: Keep voting for the Republicans and do like what happened
• 18:28
Speaker 5: in the primary. Get rid of John Cornyn. He's been there.
• 18:32
Speaker 5: He's a Republican, been there forever. Won't protect the border
• 18:35
Speaker 5: in his own border state, right? We got rid of him.
• 18:39
Speaker 5: That's what needs to happen. Weed them out. The Democrats are,
• 18:44
Speaker 5: they might as well just move to France.
• 18:45
Speaker 8: Because that's what they are.
• 18:47
Speaker 5: And there's Republicans out there, right? John McCain, great war hero,
• 18:54
  Speaker 5: all this stuff.
• 18:55
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 18:56
  Speaker 9: Terrible politician.
• 18:57
Speaker 7: Terrible for his own state.
• 18:59
Speaker 5: Wouldn't take care of his own state on the border, right?
• 19:03
Speaker 5: Get rid of them. Weed them out and keep getting
• 19:06
Speaker 5: a new batch, right? Who doesn't want to hear this?
• 19:10
Speaker 5: What's his name? Brandon Gill, Texas. Who doesn't want to
• 19:15
Speaker 5: hear him talk all the time? He's saying everything correctly
• 19:19
Speaker 5: and pointing out what the heck's going on. Sorry, people.
• 19:25
Speaker 5: I guess you can play the racism card all you want,
• 19:29
Speaker 5: but that's not the reality in America. We've had a
• 19:33
Speaker 5: black president for eight years, for Christ's sake.
• 19:38
  Speaker 6: Right.
• 19:39
Speaker 5: And this is why you're going after the fraud in
• 19:43
Speaker 5: Columbus or Minnesota. Because people are rescinding you? No, you're
• 19:49
Speaker 5: stealing our money. We bring you over here, we let
• 19:55
Speaker 5: you come over, whatever you want to say, and you're 82%
• 19:58
Speaker 5: on the dole. Okay, after 10 years of you being here,
• 20:05
Speaker 5: the average is you're 79% on adult. You didn't get
• 20:09
Speaker 5: a job yet? You didn't get health insurance to cover
• 20:13
Speaker 5: you and your family? Or did you just lie about everything,
• 20:18
Speaker 5: like Ilhan Omar and her family, and just come over here.
• 20:21
Speaker 7: To steal off of us?
• 20:22
Speaker 5: Because that's what it certainly seems like for a lot
• 20:24
Speaker 5: of them. And we just go back to it at
• 20:29
Speaker 5: the top of your hour, dudes. J.D. Vance busted these people,
• 20:34
Speaker 5: busted those people. Oh, the lady's signing up people to
• 20:38
Speaker 5: get a green card illegally. Oh, she's signing them up
• 20:41
Speaker 5: to get Medicaid. Oh, she's taking money on the side.
• 20:46
Speaker 5: We didn't have any idea that any of this was
• 20:48
Speaker 5: going on. I blame the Bushes just as much as
• 20:53
Speaker 5: Biden or Obama. You know, their ideas ain't crazy, but
• 20:58
Speaker 5: they're the establishment. It's just it goes along, and we
• 21:02
Speaker 5: keep paying for it, and they keep coming over the border. Again, Republican,
• 21:08
Speaker 5: Democrat alike, this whole new system with whatever you call it,
• 21:14
Speaker 5: MAGA or America First, this is what works. This is
• 21:18
Speaker 5: what gets stuff done. This is what's going to bring...
• 21:21
Speaker 5: Also going to bring down housing prices. Getting rid of
• 21:24
Speaker 5: people that shouldn't be here in the first place. It's...
• 21:29
Speaker 5: You know, the whole time during Biden, you had, no offense,
• 21:33
Speaker 5: all the old fellas calling up you and Danvers going,
• 21:38
Speaker 5: this Biden's so stupid that borders wide open down there. Yeah.
• 21:43
Speaker 5: It wasn't him being stupid. It's a plan. They had
• 21:47
  Speaker 5: a plan.
• 21:48
  Speaker 9: And.
• 21:50
Speaker 5: It wasn't for that space. When I first heard somebody say, well,
• 21:56
Speaker 5: good thing Trump didn't win in 2020 because, you know what,
• 22:02
Speaker 5: they're 1 million percent right. They had enough information.
• 22:08
Speaker 2: Stand by. Stand by. Just stand by. Get back to you.
• 22:10
Speaker 2: Call us online. Stand by. We're underway here on a Wednesday,
• 22:14
Speaker 2: October 21st, 68 degrees. Ron Furb from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
• 22:17
  Speaker 2: Stay with us.
• 22:17
Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKVS.
• 22:20
Speaker 11: A Florida man is in custody in Connecticut shooting of
• 22:26
Speaker 11: a woman in Portage County Tuesday morning. Police in Atwater
• 22:29
Speaker 11: Township found the victim, later identified as Alice Tully, at
• 22:33
Speaker 11: a home on State Route 183.
• 22:35
  Speaker 2: She later died.
• 22:35
Speaker 11: 21-year-old Travis Lovett of Florida was arrested about an hour
• 22:39
Speaker 11: later in Guernsey County. Bond has been set at $ 1
• 22:42
Speaker 11: million for the man accused in a deadly shooting at
• 22:45
Speaker 11: the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. Craig Seip pleaded not guilty yesterday to.
• 22:49
Speaker 2: A charge of aggravated murder.
• 22:51
Speaker 11: Cuyahoga Falls police say on Sunday Seip shot and killed
• 22:54
Speaker 11: 61-year-old Sharon Dorn of Stowe. The Toledo City Council voted
• 22:59
Speaker 11: last night to delay a vote on a resolution calling
• 23:02
Speaker 11: for the removal of flock license plate reading cameras. The proposal,
• 23:06
Speaker 11: if passed, would call for the mayor to end the
• 23:08
Speaker 11: city's contract with flock and to deactivate or remove the equipment.
• 23:12
  Speaker 11: I'm Andy Betts.
• 23:13
Speaker 12: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
• 23:17
  Speaker 12: and sports radio.
• 23:18
  Speaker 13: Podcasts, too.
• 23:20
  Speaker 2: Download the app.
• 23:21
Speaker 1: Free never sounded so good. A to Z dependable services. Plumbing, septic, heating, cooling,
• 23:27
Speaker 1: and one-day baths. Dealing with some road work on 62.
• 23:31
Speaker 14: Now, Ron Verb. On NewsRadio 570, WKBN.
• 23:37
Speaker 2: And good afternoon, 335 in the afternoon, Ron Verb. You're
• 23:40
Speaker 2: on this Wednesday, and all right, so make your point,
• 23:44
Speaker 2: and I'll move along.
• 23:47
Speaker 5: And I appreciate you saying it's not just about you.
• 23:51
Speaker 5: You're not going to be here forever.
• 23:53
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 23:53
Speaker 5: You don't worry about your kids, your grandkids, blah, blah, blah.
• 24:00
Speaker 5: We're moving so we'll be closer to a better school,
• 24:05
Speaker 5: a Catholic school, because you know what? Even a good
• 24:12
Speaker 5: public school today, you get the wrong school board, you
• 24:16
Speaker 5: get the wrong administrator, you get the wrong something, and
• 24:20
Speaker 5: insane shenanigans are going on there. So it's not just
• 24:23
Speaker 5: about the money, right? It's not just about the economy
• 24:27
Speaker 5: or whatever's going on with that. You look at all
• 24:30
Speaker 5: these other things because your kid somehow gets the idea,
• 24:35
Speaker 5: your grandkid somehow gets the idea that, They're in the
• 24:38
Speaker 5: wrong body because these insane people.
• 24:41
Speaker 2: It's craziness, yeah. They're throwing that on kids today. And
• 24:48
Speaker 2: it's just a crazy society. And this is what the
• 24:51
Speaker 2: Sherrod Browns and Amy Actons and what these Democrats stand for.
• 24:56
  Speaker 2: And I don't buy it. I'm a man. I believe
• 24:59
Speaker 2: in standards. I mean, we reproduce by male and female.
• 25:03
Speaker 2: That's how we reproduce. So we know what is normal
• 25:07
Speaker 2: to do that. Everything else, you can try to act
• 25:09
Speaker 2: like it's perfectly fine, but it's not. It's just not.
• 25:13
Speaker 5: And it's going on all across the country, all 50 states,
• 25:20
Speaker 5: and you've got to watch. And I always say, I
• 25:24
Speaker 5: don't think these red-blooded American Democrats that are still Democrats
• 25:29
Speaker 5: believe in any of that malarkey.
• 25:31
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I go back to this guy.
• 25:32
Speaker 5: And we have to stop it.
• 25:34
Speaker 2: I go back to this guy where ICE.
• 25:38
Speaker 2: Shot this guy in New York. Oh, yeah, they shot him,
• 25:41
Speaker 2: and he had a five-year-old kid in a car. Well,
• 25:44
Speaker 2: they didn't know he had a five-year-old kid in a car,
• 25:46
Speaker 2: but guess what? The guy that was fleeing with the
• 25:49
Speaker 2: criminal record that was here illegally with a major criminal
• 25:52
Speaker 2: record of violence in this country, he knew he had
• 25:54
Speaker 2: his five-year-old in a car. So, I mean, so once again, here,
• 25:59
Speaker 2: this is a shining example in New York of the
• 26:01
Speaker 2: crazies there that are vilifying ICE and glorifying a violent,
• 26:08
Speaker 2: illegal criminal in this country. It's unbelievable to me, this mentality.
• 26:14
Speaker 2: Thank you, Jake. Appreciate it. You're on the air.
• 26:17
  Speaker 8: Hello, Ron.
• 26:18
  Speaker 15: Good afternoon.
• 26:19
  Speaker 13: Yes.
• 26:21
Speaker 15: Ron, listen, I'm calling from the great state of Pennsylvania.
• 26:23
Speaker 15: I need your honest opinion because you're not a cheerleader
• 26:26
Speaker 15: for anybody. What's the kerfuffle about this Ramaswamy ad? My goodness,
• 26:31
Speaker 15: it's sure getting a lot of airtime.
• 26:33
Speaker 2: It is getting a lot of airtime. Well, it's an
• 26:37
Speaker 2: ad of Amy Acton's mother saying, don't vote for her,
• 26:40
Speaker 2: she's a liar. And then, of course, they go back
• 26:45
Speaker 2: to Amy Acton saying that she was sexually abused by
• 26:48
Speaker 2: the mother's stepfather at the time.
• 26:53
  Speaker 13: Yeah.
• 26:54
Speaker 2: I mean, if you're asking me, was that ad in
• 26:56
Speaker 2: poor taste? Absolutely. I mean, it seems to me when
• 27:01
Speaker 2: you're running against people, you should be running against– you
• 27:04
Speaker 2: should be talking about what you bring to the table
• 27:07
Speaker 2: and what you're going to do and the negative points
• 27:10
Speaker 2: about their platform. I mean, I think you should stay
• 27:13
Speaker 2: focused on that just as– I mean, I'm not saying
• 27:17
Speaker 2: that they haven't run negative ads about Ramaswamy and all
• 27:20
Speaker 2: the drugs and all this kind of stuff as far
• 27:22
Speaker 2: as when he made all this money and this kind
• 27:24
  Speaker 2: of stuff.
• 27:25
  Speaker 16: Listen....
• 27:27
Speaker 2: When it comes down to that ad, it doesn't change
• 27:29
Speaker 2: my vote one way or the other. I'm voting for
• 27:32
  Speaker 2: Ramaswamy because I think he's smarter and he's a better
• 27:36
Speaker 2: choice for governor for the state of Ohio. I think
• 27:39
Speaker 2: he's much more intelligent. I think his views are more
• 27:42
Speaker 2: in line with mine and I will be voting for him.
• 27:45
Speaker 2: Did his campaign put together a stupid ad and it backfired? Absolutely.
• 27:50
Speaker 2: Does that change my vote? Not one bit because I
• 27:54
Speaker 2: will be voting based on what, in my opinion, is
• 27:58
Speaker 2: best for me, best for the state of Ohio, and
• 28:00
Speaker 2: who can run this giant operation. I mean, who can
• 28:04
Speaker 2: run this big business? Amy Acton, once again, won't debate Ramaswamy.
• 28:08
Speaker 2: She left when she was the doctor of the state
• 28:11
Speaker 2: and couldn't take it and left. And I don't see anything.
• 28:14
Speaker 2: I see no reason why she should be governor. It
• 28:16
Speaker 2: makes no sense to me why anyone would vote for
• 28:18
Speaker 2: her other than she's a Democrat.
• 28:22
Speaker 8: You know what, Ron?
• 28:22
Speaker 15: You're a very intelligent voter, and you do all the
• 28:27
Speaker 15: programs and policies. But if you don't really study those,
• 28:31
Speaker 15: and you see that ad, and again, I'm calling from Pennsylvania.
• 28:34
Speaker 15: I haven't seen the ad. If that ad, he may
• 28:38
Speaker 15: have done himself more harm than good, especially with the
• 28:41
  Speaker 15: female votes.
• 28:43
Speaker 2: Well, he very well could have. But I'm going to
• 28:45
Speaker 2: tell you once again, I don't vote based on an ad.
• 28:49
Speaker 2: I mean, I just do not. votes based on an ad. Now,
• 28:56
Speaker 2: I'll be the first to say, as I sit here,
• 28:59
Speaker 2: and I was just listening to some of the ads
• 29:00
Speaker 2: that have been running during our break, I think a
• 29:02
Speaker 2: lot of the radio ads that are running here for
• 29:04
Speaker 2: local candidates are very well done when they're talking about,
• 29:07
Speaker 2: I'm a candidate, this is my history, this is what
• 29:10
Speaker 2: I've done, and this is why I'm running. I think
• 29:12
Speaker 2: those are very good ads, in my opinion. whether you're
• 29:16
Speaker 2: Democrat or Republican when you're talking about yourself. So do
• 29:20
Speaker 2: I think it hurt Ramaswamy from that standpoint? I absolutely do.
• 29:24
Speaker 2: I think it hurt him. I think he's losing to
• 29:28
Speaker 2: Amy Acton. And if you believe the polls, he will
• 29:30
Speaker 2: lose to her. And I think that people in the
• 29:34
Speaker 2: state of Ohio will regret Amy Acton as governor and
• 29:38
Speaker 2: the policies that she will put out. put forth. I
• 29:41
Speaker 2: just think it's just... Bad news?
• 29:44
Speaker 9: Well, I give you credit.
• 29:46
Speaker 15: Like I say, you're not a cheerleader. You tell it
• 29:47
Speaker 15: like it is. But my opinion from afar and from
• 29:50
Speaker 15: other states is that it's like a desperation. You're dealing
• 29:53
Speaker 15: with somebody that's losing.
• 29:54
Speaker 2: Right. I would agree.
• 29:56
Speaker 15: And it makes it appear to people that this is
• 29:58
Speaker 15: who this guy really is. Is he going to get
• 30:00
Speaker 15: down in the dirt and the mud so quickly?
• 30:05
Speaker 2: I would say there's campaigns and campaign people that orchestrate
• 30:09
Speaker 2: this kind of stuff, but ultimately he's held accountable. But
• 30:12
Speaker 2: one ad, one lousy ad, will not change my vote
• 30:15
Speaker 2: one way or the other. Amy Acton is a lousy candidate,
• 30:18
Speaker 2: lousy policies, and I will not vote for her based
• 30:22
Speaker 2: on any ad. I'll vote for Ramaswamy based on who
• 30:25
Speaker 2: I think is the best choice intellectually for governor.
• 30:30
Speaker 15: That's the way I vote, Ron, but unfortunately, one ad
• 30:33
Speaker 15: is all the people see television. It's an unforced error
• 30:39
Speaker 15: that's really going to cost them.
• 30:40
Speaker 2: I agree, and I agree with you. Thank you.
• 30:43
  Speaker 4: Thanks, Ron.
• 30:43
Speaker 2: Most people vote. I hear people regurgitate what they hear
• 30:47
Speaker 2: on these ads as reason why they're voting for people
• 30:49
Speaker 2: and are just regurgitating a TV ad like it's factual.
• 30:54
Speaker 2: Like it's 100% factual. And it's like, really? So you
• 30:58
Speaker 2: really don't know. That's how effective advertising can be. And
• 31:02
Speaker 2: so negative advertising can be effective as well. But who knows?
• 31:10
Speaker 2: I mean, is it a bad move on this part? Absolutely.
• 31:13
Speaker 2: Does it change my vote? Absolutely not. Like I said,
• 31:18
Speaker 2: I will not vote for Sherrod Brown. And I don't
• 31:24
Speaker 2: understand any of those Democrats. I mean, the bizarreness that
• 31:27
Speaker 2: I live during the Biden administration of we're not going
• 31:31
Speaker 2: to hire you based on who's best qualified. You got
• 31:34
Speaker 2: to be gay. We got to have a Supreme Court justice.
• 31:36
Speaker 2: And I want it to be a black woman. What
• 31:38
Speaker 2: about if there's better qualified people to sit on the
• 31:40
Speaker 2: Supreme Court? Doesn't matter. We're eliminating all of them. This
• 31:44
Speaker 2: is the stupidity of that mentality. We're going to hire
• 31:47
Speaker 2: based on anything but merits. Oh, are you gay? Are
• 31:50
Speaker 2: you transgender? How about the guy that was stealing luggage
• 31:54
Speaker 2: in the airport, some guy dressed up as a woman?
• 31:58
Speaker 2: I mean, just the bizarreness of it. You know, they
• 32:02
Speaker 2: talk about Trump with this last press secretary that, well,
• 32:06
Speaker 2: she went to law school, but she never took the bar,
• 32:10
Speaker 2: didn't pass the bar, so she isn't technically a lawyer,
• 32:13
Speaker 2: but she did complete law school. Oh, well, wait a minute.
• 32:16
Speaker 2: That doesn't make her a lawyer. Now, let me think.
• 32:18
Speaker 2: Who else did that? Oh, that's right. Congressman Tim Ryan
• 32:22
Speaker 2: went to law school, but he didn't take the bar.
• 32:27
Speaker 2: That doesn't mean he didn't have an understanding of the law.
• 32:30
Speaker 2: He didn't learn things that could benefit you maybe in
• 32:35
Speaker 2: life just from a legal standpoint or hard to argue
• 32:37
Speaker 2: and that kind of stuff. You know, I look at
• 32:42
Speaker 2: that criticism of her, and I just thought she was
• 32:44
Speaker 2: god-awful from when she first came out. But she had
• 32:47
Speaker 2: big shoes to fill with, the woman that left being
• 32:50
Speaker 2: press secretary. But to hear any Democrat criticize her, and
• 32:53
Speaker 2: I'm thinking of when you had Jean-Pierre or whatever that
• 32:57
Speaker 2: woman's name was that was just totally and completely incompetent.
• 33:03
Speaker 2: But she was there because she was a gay black woman.
• 33:07
Speaker 2: That's how the Biden administration is. I don't want to
• 33:09
Speaker 2: get on a plane and say, oh, that pilot's there
• 33:11
Speaker 2: because they're a gay whatever. No, I want the best
• 33:15
Speaker 2: pilot in that cockpit in case something goes wrong. Or
• 33:19
Speaker 2: the best person in that operating room. I mean, honest
• 33:23
Speaker 2: to God, we can no longer use the term mother
• 33:25
Speaker 2: and father. It's going to be birthing person. You want
• 33:27
Speaker 2: to vote for that nonsense again? You should have your
• 33:29
Speaker 2: head examined. You're on the air.
• 33:32
  Speaker 7: Hey there.
• 33:34
Speaker 13: This is not a vote. and know what you're talking.
• 33:38
Speaker 13: It's a vote for the people that are watching what's
• 33:41
Speaker 13: going on with Trump and his administration. And the way
• 33:47
Speaker 13: that everything is so screwed up here economically because of
• 33:51
Speaker 13: the maneuvers he made and the people that he worked
• 33:54
Speaker 13: that are in his staff have hurt this country time
• 33:58
Speaker 13: and time again. And none of the conservative Republicans had
• 34:03
Speaker 13: the backbone and the ones that did He sought and
• 34:07
Speaker 13: went after to get them out of there because they
• 34:11
Speaker 13: said they did not agree with him on what he
• 34:13
Speaker 13: was doing. And that's what's going on here. It really
• 34:16
Speaker 13: doesn't have to whether... For me to clarify that is,
• 34:23
Speaker 13: I mean, take a look at the price of everything
• 34:24
Speaker 13: that's going on. We didn't need a tariff goofing on.
• 34:30
Speaker 13: He could have done that a different way to make
• 34:33
Speaker 13: it equal. But no, he wanted to push all these
• 34:36
Speaker 13: other countries around by screaming tariffs. And now look at
• 34:40
Speaker 13: our products. And now look at the way our products.
• 34:42
Speaker 8: Are going to be moved.
• 34:43
Speaker 13: They're not going to be moved like it was before. No,
• 34:46
Speaker 13: because people are tired of... Well, we're going to tariff, tariff, tariff.
• 34:51
Speaker 13: Trump is going to tariff, tariff, tariff.
• 34:53
Speaker 2: But as you're talking, I'm thinking, you remember when Obama
• 34:56
Speaker 2: said manufacturing is a thing of the past with the
• 34:58
Speaker 2: United States? He totally wrote off manufacturing. That's your Democrat
• 35:02
Speaker 2: right there. And I go back to say to you again,
• 35:05
Speaker 2: Trump is bringing manufacturing back into the country. He's bringing
• 35:10
Speaker 2: it back in. And what do tariffs do? Let's talk
• 35:13
Speaker 2: about tariffs. I've said to you before, do you think
• 35:17
Speaker 2: that a company here can compete with somebody making the
• 35:20
Speaker 2: same product in China with childhood labor? The factory in
• 35:23
Speaker 2: China doesn't pay Social Security. They don't have OSHA. They
• 35:26
Speaker 2: don't pay workers' comp. They don't do any of that stuff.
• 35:29
Speaker 2: They have dirt floors, childhood labor, and they can bring
• 35:32
Speaker 2: that product in here and put your American company out
• 35:36
Speaker 2: of business because they don't have to live up with
• 35:38
Speaker 2: any of those standards. And they also can get benefits
• 35:41
Speaker 2: from the Chinese government because the goal is to put
• 35:44
Speaker 2: you out of business. So likewise, we can see that
• 35:48
Speaker 2: going on in India right now. Hey, guess what? This
• 35:51
Speaker 2: guy in India, this engineer here makes $ 5, 000 a year.
• 35:55
  Speaker 2: That American engineer that makes $ 100, 000 a year. Don't have
• 35:59
Speaker 2: your work done by them. Ship it over to India. See,
• 36:04
Speaker 2: when you talk about tariffs, you talk the one side
• 36:07
Speaker 2: of it. And I keep going back to this. Slave
• 36:10
Speaker 2: wage nations, China. India, Vietnam, you cannot compete with them.
• 36:16
Speaker 2: And you sit there and tout how bad tariffs are
• 36:19
Speaker 2: until people lose their jobs. I sit here and say
• 36:22
Speaker 2: to you, if the best social program is a good job,
• 36:24
Speaker 2: we better have jobs for everybody to go to. But
• 36:27
Speaker 2: if we lose manufacturing and write it off like your
• 36:30
Speaker 2: Democrat Party and Obama did. and say, well, we're done,
• 36:34
Speaker 2: we can't compete by not putting tariffs in, that's stupid.
• 36:38
Speaker 2: I will pay more to keep my fellow Americans working
• 36:43
Speaker 2: and me working in America. Not saying, I want to
• 36:46
Speaker 2: go buy something dirt cheap because I have a job.
• 36:48
  Speaker 3: No.
• 36:50
Speaker 2: It's a circle. Sooner or later, it comes back to
• 36:52
Speaker 2: bite you in the ass or someone in your family.
• 36:55
Speaker 2: And I saw it, and you were around during it,
• 36:58
Speaker 2: when they brought you these trade agreements. And that liar
• 37:01
Speaker 2: Clinton told you how this is NAFTA and GATT were
• 37:04
Speaker 2: going to make everything come up to our standards. It
• 37:08
Speaker 2: was going to benefit our country. Well, did any of
• 37:11
Speaker 2: that work out well? when you're telling me how bad
• 37:13
Speaker 2: tariffs are? Because we lost jobs to all these other countries,
• 37:18
Speaker 2: and our wages were stagnant for 20 or 30 years.
• 37:21
Speaker 2: You don't understand tariffs. You do not understand them. You
• 37:25
Speaker 2: just are, well, I should be able to pay something
• 37:27
Speaker 2: dirt cheap until members of your family lose their jobs.
• 37:31
Speaker 2: And I'm here to tell you, That's what slave wage
• 37:35
Speaker 2: nations do. And I'm also here to tell you, I
• 37:37
Speaker 2: am going to rant and rave because AI is going
• 37:40
Speaker 2: to take a lot of jobs.
• 37:41
Speaker 13: Who in America that pushed to take these jobs out
• 37:44
Speaker 13: of the United States?
• 37:46
  Speaker 2: The companies left.
• 37:46
Speaker 8: It went all the way back to Reagan.
• 37:48
  Speaker 2: Oh, bull crap.
• 37:49
  Speaker 9: No, no, no.
• 37:49
Speaker 13: Don't even start that nonsense.
• 37:51
Speaker 8: It went all the way back to Reagan.
• 37:53
Speaker 1: Now, when did we do the trade agreements?
• 37:54
Speaker 13: Let's go over there and get it.
• 37:56
  Speaker 17: Done, Chief.
• 37:57
Speaker 2: This is craziness. It doesn't go back to Reagan. It
• 38:00
Speaker 2: goes back to the original trade agreements and Ross Perot's
• 38:03
Speaker 2: argument against him, and everything he said was accurate. Everything
• 38:07
  Speaker 2: he said.
• 38:08
  Speaker 18: I voted.
• 38:09
  Speaker 8: I voted.
• 38:10
Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, guess what? Clinton won, and guess what happened?
• 38:15
Speaker 2: You got those trade agreements, and everything Perot said came true.
• 38:20
Speaker 2: Every single thing on job loss and wages stagnating. Every
• 38:24
Speaker 2: single thing. So, you know, I could sit here. I
• 38:28
  Speaker 2: could sit here.
• 38:29
Speaker 13: What didn't stagnate was the fact that CEOs of these
• 38:34
Speaker 13: corporations make millions of dollars a year plus their benefits.
• 38:39
Speaker 13: And they don't raise the wages so that the people
• 38:41
Speaker 13: can buy the barracks.
• 38:42
Speaker 2: You don't get it at all. You totally don't understand.
• 38:45
Speaker 2: The CEOs were saying, if we keep our manufacturing in
• 38:49
Speaker 2: the United States of America, we will be out of business.
• 38:52
Speaker 2: They are putting us out of business. So they move
• 38:55
Speaker 2: their manufacturing to Mexico or somewhere else to stay in business.
• 39:00
Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying to tell you is happening. Do
• 39:03
Speaker 2: you look around and say, why don't we make any
• 39:05
Speaker 2: washing machines here? Well, only Whirlpool does. I mean, why
• 39:09
Speaker 2: is so much of it made in Korea and these
• 39:11
Speaker 2: other places? All I'm saying to you is, wake up.
• 39:15
Speaker 2: That's what Trump's doing with the tariffs. And you see
• 39:18
Speaker 2: these companies that we're talking, well, we're going to come
• 39:20
Speaker 2: back into the United States because we don't want the
• 39:22
Speaker 2: tariffs coming against our products coming back in, forcing them
• 39:26
Speaker 2: to bring jobs back to the United States.
• 39:29
Speaker 8: What jobs did Trump get? bring back?
• 39:30
Speaker 2: There's been slews of them. Billions of dollars of companies
• 39:33
Speaker 2: have announced... Billions of dollars of what?
• 39:36
  Speaker 4: Pay attention.
• 39:37
Speaker 13: I don't see the factories being made.
• 39:39
Speaker 2: Are you following the news and the companies have announced
• 39:42
Speaker 2: coming back? It's been billions and billions of dollars coming back.
• 39:46
  Speaker 19: Into the country.
• 39:47
Speaker 13: But the thing of it is, when they finally talk
• 39:48
Speaker 13: to you about When the corporations or the companies they
• 39:51
Speaker 13: took to that are out of the United States, they
• 39:54
Speaker 13: come back and say, what? That's not what we talked
• 39:57
  Speaker 13: about with Trump.
• 39:58
Speaker 2: They come back out of fear of tariffs. You're clearly
• 40:01
Speaker 2: not paying attention. I tell you what, when people in
• 40:06
Speaker 2: your family lose their jobs or can't find a job
• 40:08
Speaker 2: because we're doing it in India on intellectual jobs or manufacturing,
• 40:12
Speaker 2: we're doing it everywhere else. You call me and tell
• 40:15
Speaker 2: me how dumb Trump was. You call me and tell
• 40:17
Speaker 2: me how smart the Democrats are that want to bring
• 40:19
Speaker 2: all these people into your country illegally that work for
• 40:22
Speaker 2: dirt cheap labor. And I'll be right back.
• 40:29
Speaker 17: Nobody likes getting ripped off, especially when it's your money.
• 40:33
Speaker 17: Frank LaRose knows how to fight back. In Army Special
• 40:36
Speaker 17: Forces Green Beret, Frank LaRose earned a Bronze Star serving
• 40:40
Speaker 17: our country overseas. As Secretary of State, LaRose created an
• 40:44
Speaker 17: election integrity unit to fight fraud and prosecute criminals who
• 40:48
Speaker 17: try to steal your vote. Now, Frank LaRose is on
• 40:52
Speaker 17: a new mission, protecting your tax dollars. As Auditor of State,
• 40:56
Speaker 17: LaRose will hunt down government waste, root out fraud in
• 41:00
Speaker 17: public programs, and when politicians steal from the people they serve.
• 41:03
Speaker 2: Frank LaRose will lock them up.
• 41:06
Speaker 17: Because life already costs enough, so government shouldn't make it worse.
• 41:11
Speaker 17: Endorsed by the hardworking men and women of labor, the
• 41:14
Speaker 17: Fraternal Order of Police, and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
• 41:18
  Speaker 1: Frank LaRose for.
• 41:19
  Speaker 2: Auditor of State.
• 41:21
Speaker 17: A battle-tested soldier fighting for a government you can trust.
• 41:25
Speaker 1: Paid for by LaRose for Ohio. 570-WKBN.
• 41:29
Speaker 2: All right, back to it. News Radio 5, so DWKBN
• 41:31
Speaker 2: and Ron Ferb, you're on the air.
• 41:33
Speaker 8: Hey, Bubba, how you doing?
• 41:35
  Speaker 9: Okay.
• 41:35
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 41:36
Speaker 8: Vote early and vote often.
• 41:40
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 41:41
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 41:42
Speaker 7: What's the matter? You're treating me cold now. My buddy
• 41:46
Speaker 7: called me up and said, hey, Ron's nice to you.
• 41:47
  Speaker 7: I said, yeah, I don't know. I don't understand it.
• 41:49
  Speaker 2: I don't understand it either.
• 41:51
Speaker 7: Now you're cold to me. Why?
• 41:53
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 41:53
  Speaker 9: What happened?
• 41:54
Speaker 7: What did I do?
• 41:55
Speaker 2: Nothing. It's not you.
• 41:56
Speaker 6: It's me. Oh, okay.
• 41:59
Speaker 7: Well, listen, just to let you know that Vivek was
• 42:04
Speaker 7: just trying to say that Amy Acton lies. That's all.
• 42:07
Speaker 7: He was showing an example with his mother. So whether
• 42:12
Speaker 7: it's right, wrong, the point is the Democrats lie. You
• 42:16
Speaker 7: should see all the bad commercials they got about him.
• 42:18
  Speaker 7: He's killing people.
• 42:20
Speaker 2: I got news for you. One commercial, whether it's good
• 42:23
Speaker 2: or bad, doesn't change my vote one bit. Under no
• 42:27
Speaker 2: circumstances will I vote for Amy Acton. What does she
• 42:30
Speaker 2: believe in? What does she stand for? What is she
• 42:32
  Speaker 2: going to do?
• 42:33
Speaker 7: Well, we know what she stands for because I lived it. Okay,
• 42:35
Speaker 7: you lived it during the COVID. She destroyed the state.
• 42:40
  Speaker 6: Literally.
• 42:41
Speaker 7: And I tell people, I broke it down one time.
• 42:43
Speaker 7: It took me half an hour, but I broke it
• 42:44
Speaker 7: all down. You know, shutting down businesses, you know, the
• 42:52
Speaker 7: mask thing. And by the way, I explain the mask
• 42:55
Speaker 7: over and over again on your program. I think from
• 42:57
  Speaker 7: February 20th, February, no, February of 2020, yeah, 2020, I
• 43:05
Speaker 7: explained the mask is not effective because it only filters
• 43:10
Speaker 7: out 0.06 microns. And these organisms are a lot.
• 43:14
  Speaker 4: Smaller than that.
• 43:16
Speaker 7: And I don't know where these people get off wearing
• 43:18
Speaker 7: a mask to protect themselves. So all it does is
• 43:21
Speaker 7: cut the oxygen levels going into children. That's why they
• 43:26
Speaker 7: went stupid, you know, in the four years. You know
• 43:30
Speaker 7: what I mean? So I'm just letting you know. Just
• 43:33
Speaker 7: like people say to me, oh, I got a filter.
• 43:36
Speaker 7: I'm not worried about mold. I got a good filter
• 43:38
Speaker 7: in my furnace. Filters do not catch mold. Mold is
• 43:42
  Speaker 7: smaller than.
• 43:43
  Speaker 4: 06 microns.
• 43:45
Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
• 43:47
Speaker 7: Anyhow, I'll let you go with that. I just want
• 43:49
Speaker 7: to let you know that just common sense, just like J.D.
• 43:52
Speaker 7: Vance says, common sense. Just use your common sense.
• 43:56
  Speaker 9: Right, Ron?
• 43:57
Speaker 7: You got common sense, buddy?
• 44:00
  Speaker 2: I think I do.
• 44:01
Speaker 7: Yeah, I hope you do.
• 44:03
Speaker 5: I'm working on it.
• 44:05
Speaker 7: I'm just letting you know what's going on.
• 44:09
Speaker 2: All right, thank you. All right, we'll pause for the
• 44:13
Speaker 2: headlines at 4. We're here until 6. Ron Verb from
• 44:16
Speaker 2: the Kingdom of Mahoning on News Radio 570 WKBN. Good
• 44:18
Speaker 2: to be with you.
• 44:19
  Speaker 20: 330-729-9977.
• 44:19
  Speaker 2: 330-729-9977 gets you.
• 44:27
Speaker 2: In touch with us here this afternoon, Freedom of Speech
• 44:30
Speaker 2: lives here on NewsRadio 570. Nobody can be in, so
• 44:33
Speaker 2: you can contribute. We'll come back right after this. Don't
• 44:37
Speaker 2: touch that dial. Hey, Ron, I'm going to go check
• 44:40
Speaker 2: in with Mike Leonard. He's out at Bernard Daniels. They're
• 44:43
Speaker 2: right there at 250 Railroad Street in Canfield. It's where
• 44:47
Speaker 2: you go for lumber. It's where you go for decking.
• 44:50
Speaker 2: It's where you go for Anderson windows with the Great
• 44:53
Speaker 2: Window Warehouse. It's where you go for Silver Creek Kitchen cabinets. Hey,
• 44:58
Speaker 2: I'm telling you, it's all full of terrific products and
• 45:01
  Speaker 2: great savings. It's a stop you've got to make. Let's
• 45:04
Speaker 2: talk a little bit, Mike, about decking these days. What
• 45:06
Speaker 2: do you have for me?
• 45:08
Speaker 3: Well, if you're working on a decking project, we have
• 45:10
Speaker 3: treated lumber, we have 4x4s, we have treated decking, we
• 45:14
Speaker 3: have composite decking, we have Trex, some colors in stock,
• 45:18
Speaker 3: and we have a few big piles of closed-out decking.
• 45:21
Speaker 3: A lot of colors to choose from. It's worth a visit.
• 45:24
Speaker 2: Absolutely. Folks, I can tell you personally, I bought some
• 45:27
Speaker 2: of that closed-out decking, and it's terrific. Saved a bundle
• 45:30
Speaker 2: on so much at Bernard Daniels 250 Railroad Streets in Canfield.
• 45:33
Speaker 2: What are the hours, Mike?
• 45:35
  Speaker 3: We're here Monday through Friday, 730 to 5, Saturday, 8
• 45:38
  Speaker 3: to noon.
• 45:39
Speaker 12: Celebrating 100 years as the Valley's trusted news, weather, and
• 45:44
Speaker 12: talk station, 570 WKPN, Youngstown.

Speaker 21: President Trump defending his latest moves with Russia.
• 45:58
Speaker 22: I'm Lisa Brady, Fox News.
• 46:00
Speaker 21: After the release of retired American school teacher Stephen Hubbard,
• 46:04
Speaker 21: the 74-year-old held in Russia since 2022, accused of fighting
• 46:08
Speaker 21: as a mercenary in Ukraine, sent back to the U.S.
• 46:10
  Speaker 22: Earlier today.
• 46:11
Speaker 1: I hear he's in pretty good shape. He went through
• 46:13
Speaker 1: a lot. I spoke to him this morning. He is
• 46:16
Speaker 1: the happiest man around.
• 46:18
Speaker 21: President Trump says this follows his recent call with President
• 46:21
Speaker 21: Putin and that the U.S.
• 46:22
Speaker 22: Gave nothing in exchange for Hubbard.
• 46:24
Speaker 21: Though before his release, the president has been facing criticism
• 46:27
Speaker 21: for pausing new sanctions on Russia and allowing Russian diesel sales.
• 46:32
Speaker 23: We've taken Iran down to levels that they've never seen before.
• 46:35
  Speaker 2: They're very low.
• 46:36
Speaker 1: The military is completely gone.
• 46:38
Speaker 21: And he says part of the reason is that Russia
• 46:40
Speaker 21: and China have either not participated or participated in.
• 46:43
Speaker 22: A much smaller way for Iran than they could have.
• 46:47
Speaker 2: So I am very happy about that.
• 46:50
Speaker 1: So the last thing I want to do is.
• 46:53
Speaker 23: Upset an apple cart where we're getting close to settling
• 46:56
  Speaker 23: a war.
• 46:56
Speaker 21: The president also offering renewed optimism about peace talks for
• 47:00
Speaker 21: Ukraine as the Russian president agrees in principle to resume
• 47:04
Speaker 21: three-way negotiations with Ukraine and the U.S. President Trump heads

• 47:14
Speaker 18: While John Husted spent the last two years fighting for
• 47:17
Speaker 18: you and Washington, D.C., you have an opportunity to fight
• 47:21
Speaker 18: for him and fight for your future and re-elect John Husted.
• 47:25
Speaker 21: Husted's trying to keep Vance's old Senate seat up against
• 47:27
Speaker 21: former Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown. Relief for Pope Leo. The
• 47:32
Speaker 21: Pope's doctors just announcing no further treatment is needed. Following

Speaker 21: Stocks finish higher, the Dow up 361 points at the bell.
• 47:48
Speaker 22: America is listening to Fox News.

• 47:58
  Speaker 10: Hey, everyone.
• 47:59
  Speaker 1: I'm Nicole Polizzi.
• 48:00
  Speaker 22: I'm Candace Cameron-Buray.

• 49:04
Speaker 2: One down, two to go on NewsRadio 570 WKBN and
• 49:07
Speaker 2: on Verb. Beautiful Wednesday afternoon. October 21st already, and it's
• 49:12
Speaker 2: 69 degrees with the sun shining on just a comfortable,
• 49:16
Speaker 2: beautiful Wednesday here. Glad you tuned in. You're on the air.
• 49:19
Speaker 8: Hey, Ron, how are you?
• 49:22
Speaker 2: I'm well. Go ahead, sir.
• 49:23
  Speaker 9: Good.
• 49:24
Speaker 8: So a couple things. Number one, when that guy was
• 49:27
Speaker 8: talking about tariffs, do you remember a guy who stood
• 49:30
Speaker 8: on the floor and told everybody, beat me up, Scotty?
• 49:33
  Speaker 3: Yep.
• 49:34
Speaker 8: Remember that quote when he told them that NAFTA and
• 49:38
Speaker 8: GAF were a disgrace and it was going to destroy
• 49:40
Speaker 8: our country and nobody believed him?
• 49:42
  Speaker 9: Yep.
• 49:43
  Speaker 2: Okay, number one.
• 49:44
Speaker 8: That was the number one.
• 49:47
Speaker 2: Right, and Perot said it as well. I mean, that's
• 49:50
Speaker 2: a great thing, I guess, as you get older. I
• 49:53
Speaker 2: lived it. The history to me was what I lived.
• 49:55
Speaker 2: I watched it happen, and I watched entire communities disappear.
• 50:00
Speaker 2: Factories closed down. People lose their jobs. And become ghost towns.
• 50:07
Speaker 2: You had, as a result of it, you had foreclosures.
• 50:09
Speaker 2: You had drug abuse. You had divorce. You had the
• 50:14
Speaker 2: communities that didn't have money coming in anymore because of
• 50:17
Speaker 2: all this stuff. And that was because of these crazy
• 50:21
Speaker 2: trade deals that Clinton and Gore supported. Absolutely. And that's
• 50:27
Speaker 2: what tariffs is. I mean, I'm sorry that people don't
• 50:30
Speaker 2: like to hear it. And they usually don't until it
• 50:32
Speaker 2: affects their job. Now, right now, and I'm telling everybody,
• 50:36
Speaker 2: AI is going to replace a lot of jobs, just
• 50:40
Speaker 2: the technology is. And I'm saying to everybody, be cautious
• 50:44
Speaker 2: of what's going on. Many of these companies take all
• 50:47
Speaker 2: their IT stuff, and they don't do it in this
• 50:49
Speaker 2: country at all anymore. They ship it all over to India,
• 50:52
Speaker 2: over there, where they have it done for pennies on
• 50:54
Speaker 2: the dollar, compared to what they would pay to have
• 50:57
Speaker 2: Americans do it. Is that the direction you want to go?
• 51:02
  Speaker 7: Well, absolutely.
• 51:04
Speaker 8: To make one of your points is you were talking about, well,
• 51:07
Speaker 8: that guy, he's not worried about it because it hasn't
• 51:09
Speaker 8: happened to any one of him or his family, correct?
• 51:12
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 51:13
Speaker 8: Also, that's one of the problems I see with this country.
• 51:16
Speaker 8: A lot of people, not everybody, but a lot of
• 51:19
Speaker 8: people in this country don't care unless it personally happens
• 51:22
Speaker 8: to them. And that's a big problem.
• 51:25
  Speaker 5: In this country.
• 51:28
Speaker 8: Do you follow what I'm saying?
• 51:28
Speaker 2: Yes, I do. Yes, I do.
• 51:31
  Speaker 8: Okay.
• 51:32
  Speaker 4: My other point.
• 51:34
  Speaker 2: Go ahead.
• 51:34
  Speaker 8: I'm sorry.
• 51:34
Speaker 2: I mean, but a lot of times by the time
• 51:36
Speaker 2: you get there, by the time you get there, it's
• 51:42
  Speaker 2: too late. Absolutely.
• 51:45
  Speaker 5: Absolutely.
• 51:46
Speaker 8: My other point is Amy Acton, right? As I call her,
• 51:50
Speaker 8: in my opinion, Dr.
• 51:52
  Speaker 13: Death.
• 51:55
Speaker 8: Well, would not debate the bank. Wants nothing to do
• 52:02
Speaker 8: with anything. until she gets in office. So that tells
• 52:06
Speaker 8: me when she gets in office, she's not going to
• 52:09
Speaker 8: be making the calls. She's just going to be the
• 52:11
Speaker 8: puppet there. It's going to be everybody else around her
• 52:14
Speaker 8: giving her advice to do what she, you know, to
• 52:17
Speaker 8: do what they want her to do. Okay, she's not
• 52:20
Speaker 8: in it for the American people. I can tell you
• 52:23
Speaker 8: that right now. She should not be there. And anybody
• 52:29
Speaker 8: who votes with her got to have their head examined.
• 52:33
Speaker 8: I'm sorry, but that's the truth. That's the truth. If
• 52:37
Speaker 8: she won't debate anybody, you know, it's like Biden sitting
• 52:45
  Speaker 8: in the basement.
• 52:49
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 52:51
Speaker 8: Absolutely. You know, it's terrible. It's terrible.
• 52:56
Speaker 2: You know, and then.
• 53:00
Speaker 8: And unfortunately, they show her leading in the polls. Hopefully,
• 53:03
  Speaker 8: that changes.
• 53:04
Speaker 2: I doubt it. It shows her and Sherrod Brown winning.
• 53:09
Speaker 2: But as I say, not with my votes. I will
• 53:12
Speaker 2: not vote for the lunatic policies of the Democrats, both
• 53:15
Speaker 2: their energy policies and their sexual deviation policies. I will
• 53:20
Speaker 2: not vote for either one of those two.
• 53:22
  Speaker 13: Oh, no.
• 53:23
Speaker 8: I already voted, and I voted right across the board.
• 53:27
Speaker 8: I will not allow a Democrat. I will not vote
• 53:29
Speaker 8: for a Democrat because they are not for what we
• 53:32
Speaker 8: as Americans stand for, the majority of us anyway.
• 53:36
  Speaker 13: Right.
• 53:36
Speaker 2: I'm with you. I cannot vote for a Democrat either.
• 53:39
  Speaker 2: I'm with you.
• 53:41
  Speaker 5: No, absolutely not.
• 53:43
Speaker 8: Absolutely not. And the only other thing I wanted to
• 53:45
Speaker 8: mention was, you know, the only thing I... I voted
• 53:51
Speaker 8: for Trump twice. You know, don't agree with everything he does, but,
• 53:55
Speaker 8: you know... He's the lesser of the two evils, and
• 53:57
Speaker 8: he's done way better than anybody else ever could have,
• 54:00
  Speaker 8: in my opinion.
• 54:01
Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely. How do you even... I mean, just in
• 54:06
Speaker 2: securing the border alone. Just in that alone.
• 54:11
  Speaker 8: Right.
• 54:13
Speaker 2: Look at the Democrats are fighting him to just get
• 54:15
Speaker 2: these people out of your country that are here illegally.
• 54:17
Speaker 2: Like I said, all you got to do is look
• 54:18
Speaker 2: to New York. The wackos in New York are defending a.
• 54:24
Speaker 2: Violence person that's here illegally in New York against ICE.
• 54:31
Speaker 2: ICE is the villain and glorifying this illegal criminal. It's
• 54:36
  Speaker 2: unbelievable to me.
• 54:39
Speaker 8: And me also. It's what's going on in New York,
• 54:43
Speaker 8: what's going on in Minnesota, what's going on in Michigan
• 54:47
Speaker 8: with all the fraud. You know, he come out with
• 54:49
Speaker 8: this thing, was it yesterday or today, saying he'll pay
• 54:52
Speaker 8: people 1%. For all the fraud that they recover or
• 54:56
Speaker 8: uncover as to the millions of dollars that is being wasted. Well,
• 55:03
Speaker 8: what are our politicians doing? What's the House and the Senate,
• 55:07
Speaker 8: what are they doing? You know, that's their job to
• 55:11
Speaker 8: uncover all this stuff.
• 55:13
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 55:14
Speaker 8: You know, but none of them are doing it. What
• 55:17
Speaker 8: politician has been arrested since all this has gone on?
• 55:20
  Speaker 13: Not once.
• 55:22
Speaker 2: Yep, yep. I mean, I'm tired of the phony hearings.
• 55:26
Speaker 2: You know, Fauci took the fifth all of these times. Well,
• 55:28
Speaker 2: what's happened to Fauci? Nothing or any... I mean, talk about...
• 55:33
Speaker 2: I just want everyone to think about it, how Fauci
• 55:35
Speaker 2: just lied to everybody. I mean, how Fauci was funding
• 55:38
Speaker 2: this lab in China where we know that this virus started.
• 55:43
Speaker 2: We know that people died alone in nursing homes and
• 55:45
Speaker 2: in hospitals without their family members there. We know the
• 55:47
Speaker 2: lies that he told and the cover-up that he did.
• 55:50
Speaker 2: And we watched these hearings, and he took the fifth
• 55:53
Speaker 2: on everything. But guess what? Nothing happens. I watched these
• 55:56
Speaker 2: hearings on the Russian fraud of Trump's first term. which
• 56:00
Speaker 2: was all orchestrated for political purposes and screwed this country
• 56:03
Speaker 2: up for three years. Who's been held accountable for it? Nobody.
• 56:07
Speaker 2: I mean, all of this stuff is just a charade.
• 56:10
Speaker 2: I see it, but no one ever goes to jail
• 56:12
Speaker 2: to pay the price for it.
• 56:14
Speaker 8: No, but that's the problem. Right wing, left wing. They're
• 56:18
Speaker 8: all in cahoots with it.
• 56:20
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 56:21
Speaker 8: To a point. You know, right wing, left wing, they
• 56:26
Speaker 8: come from the same bird, unfortunately.
• 56:27
  Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
• 56:28
Speaker 8: You know, but you got to go with the lesser
• 56:30
Speaker 8: of the two evils.
• 56:33
  Speaker 19: Yep.
• 56:33
  Speaker 9: You know?
• 56:33
  Speaker 20: Yep.
• 56:36
Speaker 8: Unfortunately, that's how our country is right now.
• 56:39
  Speaker 6: It's shameful.
• 56:40
Speaker 2: Well, I don't know that Trump's the lesser of two evils.
• 56:43
Speaker 2: I'm still satisfied with Trump. I disagree with him on
• 56:45
Speaker 2: the war, but I always say I don't know what
• 56:47
Speaker 2: he knows. I mean, I can't sit here and say
• 56:49
Speaker 2: what he knows and why he did it. There might
• 56:51
Speaker 2: be reasons that they can't discuss, obviously, with the rest
• 56:54
Speaker 2: of us. But listen, I mean, I know this much.
• 56:57
Speaker 2: I know the Republicans' energy policy are in my best
• 57:00
Speaker 2: interest to have low fossil fuel costs versus any of
• 57:03
Speaker 2: the Democrats, any of them.
• 57:05
Speaker 8: Oh, without a doubt.
• 57:07
  Speaker 20: Yeah.
• 57:07
Speaker 8: Without a doubt. Democrats, they have one agenda, and that's
• 57:10
  Speaker 8: to destroy America.
• 57:12
  Speaker 4: Yep.
• 57:12
  Speaker 5: That is it.
• 57:13
  Speaker 6: Yep.
• 57:14
  Speaker 8: To destroy it.
• 57:15
  Speaker 2: And chaos.
• 57:15
Speaker 8: And people don't understand that. They don't understand that. They think,
• 57:19
Speaker 8: you know, well, just like the guy said earlier about
• 57:22
Speaker 8: the ad. Well, it's one ad on TV. Who cares?
• 57:26
Speaker 8: You know, if you're going to vote on that ad alone,
• 57:29
Speaker 8: then you've got bigger problems than voting.
• 57:33
  Speaker 19: Yeah.
• 57:34
  Speaker 13: Yeah.
• 57:34
Speaker 8: You know, it's unbelievable how some of these people think.
• 57:39
  Speaker 9: Yeah.
• 57:39
Speaker 8: You know, and everybody has their own mind. Everybody has
• 57:42
Speaker 8: their own opinions. And you know what opinions are. Everybody
• 57:45
Speaker 8: has one and they all stink.
• 57:46
  Speaker 9: Yeah.
• 57:47
Speaker 2: You got it, Tiger. All right.
• 57:49
Speaker 8: You know what I mean?
• 57:49
Speaker 2: I hear you. I appreciate your call. Thank you.
• 57:52
  Speaker 8: Yes, sir.
• 57:52
Speaker 2: I was just reading here from where my daughter lives.
• 57:56
Speaker 2: A Florida mayor was arrested Wednesday on theft and fraud charges.
• 58:00
Speaker 2: In Kissimmee, the mayor of Kissimmee is a woman named
• 58:03
Speaker 2: Jackie Espinoza. Jackie Espinoza, a Democrat, incidentally, is being charged
• 58:12
Speaker 2: with grand theft and organized scheme to defraud, according to
• 58:15
Speaker 2: the Florida Attorney General. So they say that, what did
• 58:22
Speaker 2: she do? There's her mug shots. She's 58 years old,
• 58:27
Speaker 2: was booked this morning. in the Osceola County Jail under
• 58:32
Speaker 2: full name. They had these business grant programs. I was
• 58:36
Speaker 2: just reading this. Wait a second here. Let me go
• 58:40
Speaker 2: back here. Very interesting. Let's see. Charged with grand theft
• 58:47
Speaker 2: and organized scheme to defraud. Oh, that's nothing big, right?
• 58:52
Speaker 2: She's going to do some grand theft here and that
• 58:55
Speaker 2: kind of stuff. I guess she took these programs. Let's see. Well,
• 59:01
Speaker 2: you don't care. This is all in Florida. The case
• 59:05
Speaker 2: involves a publicly approved grant program administered by city staff,
• 59:09
Speaker 2: not a secret. scheme to steal taxpayers' money. So she
• 59:13
Speaker 2: had this grant program, and she shifted a lot of
• 59:17
Speaker 2: money to her family businesses. And go figure with her influence.
• 59:23
Speaker 2: That's against the law. You're on the air.
• 59:26
  Speaker 6: Hey, Ron.
• 59:27
  Speaker 9: Good afternoon.
• 59:28
  Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
• 59:29
Speaker 9: You guys done ranting and raving about politicians? Want to
• 59:34
Speaker 9: deal with something real?
• 59:35
  Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
• 59:39
Speaker 9: Oh, you do. You want to deal with it.
• 59:41
Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm man enough to.
• 59:43
Speaker 9: You can handle this, Ron. I watched you on Friday.
• 59:47
Speaker 9: The reason for my call, has anybody got an update
• 59:50
Speaker 9: on our friend J.J.
• 59:53
Speaker 2: Not really, and I'm not discussing it. But anyway, go ahead.
• 59:57
Speaker 9: Well, okay, that's fine. I mean, if you know some
• 1:00:00
Speaker 9: personal stuff, that's not what I was looking for. Just
• 1:00:03
Speaker 9: those of us that listened and I called in Friday.
• 1:00:07
Speaker 2: He's alive and well and entitled to his privacy. I'll
• 1:00:10
Speaker 2: leave it at that, okay?
• 1:00:11
Speaker 9: Absolutely, absolutely. But just know that there are those of
• 1:00:14
Speaker 9: us out here that are still praying for him.
• 1:00:16
  Speaker 5: All right.
• 1:00:17
Speaker 9: And thank you for being there.
• 1:00:18
Speaker 2: I appreciate that, sir.
• 1:00:21
Speaker 9: All right, take care.
• 1:00:22
Speaker 2: That's it? Oh, I thought he had something important. All right,
• 1:00:24
Speaker 2: you're on the air.
• 1:00:26
Speaker 26: I was watching a Megyn Kelly show clip actually yesterday.
• 1:00:29
Speaker 26: They were talking about the Canfield Fair and the whole
• 1:00:31
Speaker 26: Amy Acton thing. And they even had on her show
• 1:00:35
Speaker 26: the prosecutor, Lynn Morrow, speaking about how the only video
• 1:00:40
Speaker 26: of that alleged attack was from the guy they arrested.
• 1:00:44
Speaker 26: And I've just been thinking the whole time, why hasn't
• 1:00:46
Speaker 26: that video been released this whole time? Because, I mean,
• 1:00:50
Speaker 26: there's a number of things, Amy, that you talk about.
• 1:00:52
Speaker 26: But one is, you know, alleging this attack. If there's
• 1:00:56
Speaker 26: a video out there of it not happening, why not
• 1:00:59
  Speaker 26: release that?
• 1:01:01
Speaker 2: Okay. I don't know that it wasn't. But anyway.
• 1:01:05
Speaker 6: Well, have you seen it?
• 1:01:07
Speaker 26: I'm sure if there was a video of the alleged
• 1:01:09
Speaker 26: attacker on the woman running for governor, you know, if
• 1:01:12
Speaker 26: it was out there, you would have seen it.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 2: I just remember watching... the prosecutor basically saying the whole
• 1:01:18
Speaker 2: thing was blown out of proportion, which obviously it was.
• 1:01:22
Speaker 2: I mean, it was clear that this guy wasn't going
• 1:01:25
Speaker 2: there to assassinate her or do any of that kind
• 1:01:27
Speaker 2: of stuff. He was just working his way through the crowd.
• 1:01:30
Speaker 2: I mean, the whole thing was made into something it wasn't.
• 1:01:35
Speaker 26: I just find it odd, though, if this video exists,
• 1:01:37
Speaker 26: why it's not out there. And if it's available, who's
• 1:01:40
Speaker 26: keeping it from being released. If somebody would know better
• 1:01:43
Speaker 26: than me, maybe there's legal issues, ramifications, I have no clue.
• 1:01:47
Speaker 26: I just found that interesting. That's just one thing. Now,
• 1:01:50
Speaker 26: here's the thing with everybody voting yes, no, for whoever, whatever.
• 1:01:55
Speaker 26: There's literally nothing that anybody's going to say or do
• 1:01:58
Speaker 26: in an ad that's going to say, you know what, Ron,
• 1:02:00
Speaker 26: like you said, you're not going to watch an ad
• 1:02:02
Speaker 26: and say, you know what, That did it. I'm voting
• 1:02:05
Speaker 26: for Amy Acton now.
• 1:02:06
Speaker 6: Oh, you know what?
• 1:02:07
Speaker 26: This flyer I got in the mail today, that just
• 1:02:09
Speaker 26: sealed my decision. I'm definitely voting for Sherrod Brown. I mean,
• 1:02:14
Speaker 26: nothing's going to change your mind. And I would bet
• 1:02:17
Speaker 26: if you asked 100 people who are going to vote
• 1:02:20
Speaker 26: for Amy Acton why they're going to vote for her,
• 1:02:23
Speaker 26: their answer would be because I hate Donald Trump. I mean,
• 1:02:26
Speaker 26: that's where we're at in politics in our country now,
• 1:02:29
Speaker 26: where you really have no clue what the person's really
• 1:02:32
Speaker 26: running on or their stance You just hate the other
• 1:02:34
Speaker 26: person much more. And it really stinks because we can't
• 1:02:38
Speaker 26: move forward with policy or anything like that. Like the
• 1:02:42
Speaker 26: last caller said, I think he hit the nail on
• 1:02:45
Speaker 26: the head. Where has anybody ever had any repercussions or
• 1:02:48
Speaker 26: ramifications or anything from all of these political decisions that
• 1:02:53
Speaker 26: have gone on over the years? Russia, COVID, you can
• 1:02:56
Speaker 26: go all the way back to the... Great Recession of 2008.
• 1:03:00
Speaker 26: None of the bankers, none of those people.
• 1:03:02
Speaker 27: Ever went to jail.
• 1:03:03
Speaker 26: None of these people ever go to jail. The one
• 1:03:05
Speaker 26: I always think about, too, is when January 6th happened.
• 1:03:08
Speaker 6: You know, who went to jail?
• 1:03:10
Speaker 26: The lady who said that Donald Trump lunged at, you know,
• 1:03:13
Speaker 26: the Secret Service and put the guy in a headlock. Like,
• 1:03:15
Speaker 26: she lied under oath. Where is she? Does she ever
• 1:03:17
Speaker 26: go to jail with anybody?
• 1:03:19
  Speaker 6: Nobody ever does.
• 1:03:20
Speaker 26: There's no repercussions for anything. So if these people can
• 1:03:23
Speaker 26: get away with everything... What's the point? Like this woman
• 1:03:27
Speaker 26: you're talking about in Florida who got arrested for fraud
• 1:03:30
Speaker 26: or whatever, that's just one of the ones that you
• 1:03:33
Speaker 26: hear about. And it was probably so egregious that other
• 1:03:35
Speaker 26: people were worried about getting into trouble if they didn't
• 1:03:38
Speaker 26: bring it to light. This whole thing, you're going to
• 1:03:40
Speaker 26: get 1% of any fraud you bring to light or
• 1:03:43
Speaker 26: anything like that. That's never going to happen. Is Ilhan
• 1:03:46
Speaker 26: Omar going to get deported back to Somalia?
• 1:03:49
Speaker 27: You think you're ever.
• 1:03:49
Speaker 26: Going to see the day where she gets in handcuffs,
• 1:03:52
Speaker 26: put on a white plane from the Youngstown Warren Regional
• 1:03:55
Speaker 26: Airport and flown to Somalia? I highly doubt it. Nothing
• 1:03:59
Speaker 26: ever happens. And it will continue to happen unless we
• 1:04:03
Speaker 26: change the way these things work. But they're all in
• 1:04:05
Speaker 26: cahoots again. Like that last guy just said, I think
• 1:04:08
  Speaker 26: he said.
• 1:04:08
  Speaker 4: It very well.
• 1:04:09
Speaker 26: You know, I think there were, like, four members of Congress,
• 1:04:11
Speaker 26: Republican members of Congress, that voted even to, like, protect
• 1:04:15
Speaker 26: Ilhan Omar. What are these people doing? Look at the
• 1:04:17
Speaker 26: SAVE Act. We can't even pass bills in this country
• 1:04:21
Speaker 26: to make voting for U.S.
• 1:04:23
  Speaker 6: Citizens. It's absurd.
• 1:04:24
Speaker 26: And there's something going on that we all don't know
• 1:04:27
Speaker 26: about that's trying to destroy this country from within. And, yeah,
• 1:04:31
Speaker 26: I agree it's mostly the Democrat policies. But then when
• 1:04:34
Speaker 26: these things even come to light, you've got Republicans that
• 1:04:36
Speaker 26: aren't doing anything about it. So they're just as complacent.
• 1:04:40
Speaker 2: Yes, many of them are. Many of them are. But
• 1:04:44
Speaker 2: I mean, why don't you explain to me why it
• 1:04:47
Speaker 2: looks like Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown will win in Ohio?
• 1:04:50
Speaker 2: Why do you think that is? Why don't you explain
• 1:04:52
Speaker 2: that to me from your viewpoint?
• 1:04:55
Speaker 26: I think it's what have you done for me lately
• 1:04:57
Speaker 26: from Trump? I mean, look at half the people calling in.
• 1:05:00
Speaker 26: you know, they'd still vote for him, but they're still
• 1:05:01
Speaker 26: not happy with what he's done. So I don't think
• 1:05:03
Speaker 26: it's that she would necessarily, if everybody in the state
• 1:05:07
Speaker 26: of Ohio could go on their phone and say, you know,
• 1:05:09
Speaker 26: Amy Acton or Vivek, I think Vivek would win. But
• 1:05:14
Speaker 26: I think Democrats are way better organized in their delusional
• 1:05:18
Speaker 26: voting habits. They will get out and they will vote
• 1:05:23
Speaker 26: because they will find the homeless person under the bridge
• 1:05:25
Speaker 26: and give them 20 bucks and put them on a
• 1:05:28
Speaker 26: bus and ship them to the polling station or have
• 1:05:31
Speaker 26: somebody go fraudulently vote. They just do a better job
• 1:05:34
Speaker 26: at agreeing with their stupidity. And I think that's all
• 1:05:38
Speaker 26: it is, is just getting out and actually going to
• 1:05:40
Speaker 26: the polls or actually filling out the mail-in ballot. I
• 1:05:44
Speaker 26: just don't think Republicans, who are mostly at work all
• 1:05:47
Speaker 26: day paying their taxes and doing these things, Sometimes it's
• 1:05:50
Speaker 26: election day, and you've got to pick your kids up
• 1:05:52
Speaker 26: from soccer, and you miss voting.
• 1:05:54
Speaker 2: Stand by for me. Just stand by. I'll come back
• 1:05:56
Speaker 2: with Alec and more in a minute. Maybe he can
• 1:05:58
Speaker 2: explain it to us. Back after this, NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
• 1:06:01
  Speaker 2: High Heart Radio.
• 1:06:05
Speaker 14: You're worried about the 570 WKBN.
• 1:06:09
Speaker 2: Back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Ron Ferb, you're on
• 1:06:12
  Speaker 2: the air.
• 1:06:14
  Speaker 9: Ronald.
• 1:06:16
Speaker 2: Boss lady. How was it like in Amish country? Did
• 1:06:21
Speaker 2: you go into the general store to get some supplies?
• 1:06:24
  Speaker 28: I didn't get my supplies. I didn't get any Swiss.
• 1:06:28
Speaker 2: Cheese and no jerky. Did you go walking in there
• 1:06:32
Speaker 2: in your business attire suit and get some beef jerky
• 1:06:37
Speaker 2: and then look over at Mr. Miller and give him
• 1:06:41
Speaker 2: a wink and go walking right back to the car?
• 1:06:43
  Speaker 20: Mr.
• 1:06:44
  Speaker 29: Miller?
• 1:06:44
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:06:45
  Speaker 27: No, no, no.
• 1:06:46
Speaker 2: You didn't do any of that?
• 1:06:48
Speaker 6: No, I was busy.
• 1:06:49
Speaker 28: I mean, literally, I drove in almost five hours, got
• 1:06:53
Speaker 28: to the hotel, went over my presentation, got up in
• 1:06:56
Speaker 28: the morning, was in meetings, and then literally.
• 1:07:00
Speaker 30: Hopped in my car at 3 o'clock and drove straight
• 1:07:02
  Speaker 30: home by myself.
• 1:07:03
Speaker 2: And what was the theme of your presentation? I was
• 1:07:07
  Speaker 2: in sales.
• 1:07:07
Speaker 28: I had to do digital sales.
• 1:07:12
Speaker 30: Digital assets that we just really.
• 1:07:15
Speaker 2: Talk about digital assets, right? Okay.
• 1:07:18
Speaker 28: Yeah, so I had to.
• 1:07:20
Speaker 2: And how did your presentation go?
• 1:07:22
Speaker 30: Well, wow, really well.
• 1:07:23
  Speaker 9: Very good.
• 1:07:24
  Speaker 5: It was engaging.
• 1:07:25
Speaker 2: Did you take questions? Did you have some humor in it?
• 1:07:29
Speaker 30: Of course, I was actually hilarious, as usual.
• 1:07:33
  Speaker 6: As usual.
• 1:07:33
Speaker 30: Ron, I had to add in some flair.
• 1:07:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, and did you have any props, you know, that
• 1:07:37
Speaker 2: you could use, you know, like... An arrow going through
• 1:07:40
Speaker 2: your head or anything like that?
• 1:07:42
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 1:07:43
  Speaker 5: No, no pop.
• 1:07:44
Speaker 2: The pressure must be tremendous. So five hours just to
• 1:07:47
Speaker 2: make this presentation. Traveling through Amish country.
• 1:07:52
Speaker 28: It was a beautiful drive, though.
• 1:07:54
  Speaker 30: It really was.
• 1:07:55
Speaker 28: But it sucks when you're driving by yourself for five hours,
• 1:07:58
Speaker 28: and I just wanted to get home. I mean, I
• 1:08:00
Speaker 28: had a room yesterday, last night, and I could have stayed, but.
• 1:08:04
Speaker 2: Well, why didn't you take the.
• 1:08:05
  Speaker 24: I'd rather.
• 1:08:06
Speaker 28: Be in my own bed.
• 1:08:07
Speaker 2: The Puerto Rican wonder with you. Why didn't he take
• 1:08:10
Speaker 2: the day off and say.
• 1:08:11
Speaker 28: You know, he's working.
• 1:08:12
Speaker 30: He could have, but if I had him.
• 1:08:14
Speaker 28: Do that every time, you know.
• 1:08:17
Speaker 9: Well, that's... What's he going to.
• 1:08:18
Speaker 28: Do all day while I'm in a meeting?
• 1:08:20
Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
• 1:08:21
Speaker 2: He's going to explore the community in which you're in.
• 1:08:23
Speaker 2: He's going to... He's going to walk the streets. He's
• 1:08:26
Speaker 2: going to go to have breakfast. He's going to walk
• 1:08:28
Speaker 2: around and take it all in. Maybe you go to
• 1:08:30
Speaker 2: Amish country and start buying some furniture or something. You
• 1:08:34
  Speaker 2: never know.
• 1:08:35
  Speaker 7: I don't know.
• 1:08:37
Speaker 28: I'd rather do something fun. I'd rather when he.
• 1:08:39
Speaker 7: Takes a day off, we do something fun.
• 1:08:41
  Speaker 2: Like go bowling.
• 1:08:44
  Speaker 5: No.
• 1:08:44
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 1:08:46
Speaker 28: I mean, sometimes bowling is fun, but he thinks he's
• 1:08:49
Speaker 28: an expert bowler and he sucks too.
• 1:08:51
  Speaker 9: Really?
• 1:08:51
Speaker 2: But is he a better bowler than you?
• 1:08:54
Speaker 28: He thinks so, but no, he's not.
• 1:08:56
  Speaker 6: And he just.
• 1:08:58
Speaker 28: Tries to throw the, you know what men do? Men
• 1:09:00
Speaker 28: try to exert strength. So I might, you know, throw
• 1:09:03
Speaker 28: the ball like, I don't know.
• 1:09:05
  Speaker 2: Slow.
• 1:09:06
Speaker 28: 10 miles an hour. And he's like, wants to launch
• 1:09:09
  Speaker 28: it like it.
• 1:09:10
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 1:09:11
  Speaker 30: Yeah.
• 1:09:11
Speaker 28: And so he thinks that that's, and.
• 1:09:13
Speaker 5: It's, you know, no.
• 1:09:15
  Speaker 4: Right. Well, okay.
• 1:09:16
Speaker 2: Just saying. Just seeing what it is. Now, what do
• 1:09:18
Speaker 2: you make of the... Explain to... I was going to
• 1:09:21
Speaker 2: go back to Alec.
• 1:09:22
  Speaker 13: Go ahead.
• 1:09:23
Speaker 28: What were you going to ask me?
• 1:09:24
Speaker 2: I was going to go back to Alec, but I'll
• 1:09:26
Speaker 2: go back to Alec after I'm done talking to you.
• 1:09:28
Speaker 2: I lost my place.
• 1:09:29
  Speaker 3: Sorry.
• 1:09:29
Speaker 2: I was just looking at my note here. But anyway,
• 1:09:32
Speaker 2: why do you think Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown are
• 1:09:34
Speaker 2: leading in the polls?
• 1:09:39
Speaker 28: I think Alec is spot on. I think it's people
• 1:09:42
Speaker 28: upset with Trump. I think they're upset with the Iran war.
• 1:09:45
  Speaker 22: And I think.
• 1:09:49
  Speaker 5: The media.
• 1:09:50
Speaker 28: And I'm not saying that it's not tough or the
• 1:09:53
Speaker 28: gas prices aren't high right now, but it's not. I mean,
• 1:09:56
Speaker 28: you look at Dum Dum's entire reign of presidency. And
• 1:10:03
Speaker 28: I mean, it was horrible then. I think it's just frustration.
• 1:10:08
  Speaker 28: And I don't buy it. I think it's all fake
• 1:10:12
Speaker 28: outrage over this Vivek ad. I mean, I listened to
• 1:10:15
Speaker 28: it several times. You know, the people are saying, oh,
• 1:10:17
Speaker 28: he denied that, you know, like basically like he's denying
• 1:10:21
Speaker 28: that he was a victim of.
• 1:10:26
Speaker 7: Sexual whatever. He never said that.
• 1:10:30
Speaker 28: Neither did the mother. His mother just called her a liar.
• 1:10:33
Speaker 8: In the ad, it.
• 1:10:34
Speaker 28: Doesn't say anything about that, that she was molested. It
• 1:10:37
Speaker 28: doesn't talk about any of that. It says she's a liar.
• 1:10:39
Speaker 28: She lies about her past. She lies about growing up
• 1:10:41
Speaker 28: in a tent. The mother said this in 2020. It's
• 1:10:44
Speaker 28: okay for Amy Acton to go out there and call
• 1:10:46
Speaker 28: Vivek Ramaswamy a liar. He said that all his stuff
• 1:10:49
Speaker 28: with Alzheimer's drugs was fake and that he misled people
• 1:10:53
Speaker 28: intentionally to make money. And she did all that. But
• 1:10:56
Speaker 28: then now her own mother comes out, okay? Her mom
• 1:10:59
Speaker 28: said it. He didn't say it.
• 1:11:00
Speaker 20: Her mom said it.
• 1:11:01
Speaker 28: Now, Yeah, does it get a little bit, you know, dicey?
• 1:11:04
Speaker 28: But it had nothing to do with being molested.
• 1:11:07
  Speaker 1: None of it.
• 1:11:07
Speaker 28: People are like, you know, they're forcing it to be that.
• 1:11:11
Speaker 2: All right, stand by, boss lady. I think I'm going
• 1:11:14
Speaker 2: to hook the boss lady up and have Alec speaking
• 1:11:17
Speaker 2: at the same time. That should be interesting right after this.
• 1:11:24
Speaker 31: The evacuation into shelter-in-place is still in effect after a
• 1:11:27
Speaker 31: chemical leak in Toledo.
• 1:11:28
Speaker 32: Officials Wednesday afternoon said the venting of the chemical glycidal
• 1:11:31
Speaker 32: methacrylate at MC Tank Transport Inc. would continue for several
• 1:11:34
Speaker 32: more hours. This after the leak was reported from a
• 1:11:36
Speaker 32: tank late Tuesday night, as it is still not safe
• 1:11:39
Speaker 32: for first responders to get closer to it. The industrial
• 1:11:41
Speaker 32: chemical used to improve the performance of certain plastics, paints,
• 1:11:44
Speaker 32: and coatings has a sweet, fruity odor and can cause
• 1:11:47
Speaker 32: breathing issues, watery eyes, and long-term exposure can lead to
• 1:11:50
Speaker 32: it being a carcinogen. Those living within a one-mile radius
• 1:11:53
Speaker 32: ordered to evacuate. Those within three miles told to stay inside,
• 1:11:56
Speaker 32: close all windows, and turn off ventilation systems that allow
• 1:11:59
Speaker 32: outside air in. I'm Sean Galbiger.
• 1:12:01
Speaker 31: And a man and a woman and a toddler have
• 1:12:02
Speaker 31: been found dead in a Tuscarawas County home where authorities
• 1:12:05
Speaker 31: say their bodies were discovered this morning at a home
• 1:12:07
Speaker 31: after someone at the residence called 911 and then hung up.
• 1:12:10
Speaker 31: Their names had not been released and a gun was
• 1:12:12
Speaker 31: found as officers arrived. I'm Brady Hopkins.
• 1:12:15
Speaker 12: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
• 1:12:19
  Speaker 12: and sports radio.
• 1:12:20
  Speaker 1: Podcast 2.
• 1:12:21
  Speaker 2: Download the app.
• 1:12:23
Speaker 1: Free never sounded so good. A to Z dependable services, plumbing, septic, heating, cooling,
• 1:12:28
  Speaker 1: and one-day baths.
• 1:12:30
Speaker 14: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
• 1:12:35
Speaker 2: Back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. All right, watch this. Alec,
• 1:12:40
  Speaker 2: are you there?
• 1:12:42
  Speaker 8: I'm here.
• 1:12:42
Speaker 26: Are you guys done flirting with each other now?
• 1:12:44
Speaker 2: Wait a second. I'm not flirting. Hang on. There she is.
• 1:12:48
  Speaker 2: Boss lady?
• 1:12:49
  Speaker 9: Hello.
• 1:12:50
Speaker 2: I'm here. All right, Alec, you're talking to the boss lady.
• 1:12:53
  Speaker 5: All right.
• 1:12:54
Speaker 26: Bossley, did I hear you were doing on a trip
• 1:12:57
Speaker 26: for a digital assets?
• 1:13:00
  Speaker 9: Yeah.
• 1:13:01
  Speaker 6: Digital assets.
• 1:13:02
Speaker 26: Can you tell us more about digital assets?
• 1:13:05
Speaker 2: That means she was out promoting her OnlyFans page.
• 1:13:10
  Speaker 23: No.
• 1:13:11
Speaker 28: I'm not getting into my work stuff.
• 1:13:13
Speaker 30: All about digital experience.
• 1:13:15
Speaker 28: Tools that we launched.
• 1:13:18
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:13:18
Speaker 2: You know, she's got an important job.
• 1:13:20
  Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, I can't be divulging.
• 1:13:23
  Speaker 7: We're publicly traded.
• 1:13:24
Speaker 30: Yeah, we're publicly traded.
• 1:13:25
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:13:27
Speaker 26: Okay, so you're not talking about stable coins, cryptocurrency, Bitcoin,
• 1:13:31
Speaker 26: things like that when you say digital assets.
• 1:13:33
Speaker 7: Okay, those are digital assets.
• 1:13:35
Speaker 26: I wanted to get your verbiage correct.
• 1:13:36
  Speaker 5: Yes.
• 1:13:39
Speaker 2: All right. So now tell us, first I'll start with you,
• 1:13:43
Speaker 2: Boss Lady. So do you think these people are voting
• 1:13:46
Speaker 2: for Sherrod Brown and Amy Acton in this red state
• 1:13:51
Speaker 2: of Ohio because of Trump and gas prices? I mean,
• 1:13:56
Speaker 2: I don't understand it. Why do you think that?
• 1:13:59
  Speaker 7: I think so.
• 1:14:00
Speaker 30: I think it's just frustration with Trump. I think that
• 1:14:02
Speaker 30: it's what he said.
• 1:14:04
  Speaker 20: I do.
• 1:14:04
  Speaker 30: I think it's with what Alex said. I think it's
• 1:14:06
Speaker 30: frustration with Republican Party and they hate Donald Trump. And
• 1:14:12
  Speaker 30: I think that's the independence. I really don't see. And
• 1:14:15
Speaker 30: by the way, I don't know if you both have
• 1:14:18
Speaker 30: seen the same thing. I have never seen more pieces
• 1:14:20
Speaker 30: of paper come to my door. I mean, if I
• 1:14:23
Speaker 30: get another piece of paper from Sherrod Brown, I could
• 1:14:28
Speaker 30: do a bonfire. I mean, I could literally heat my
• 1:14:31
  Speaker 30: house for winter.
• 1:14:32
Speaker 2: Which is amazing to me, all the stuff that they
• 1:14:34
Speaker 2: send you in the mail.
• 1:14:36
Speaker 6: The flyers, the text messages.
• 1:14:38
Speaker 28: Oh, my God, yeah.
• 1:14:40
Speaker 2: The cards you get in the mail, because I immediately
• 1:14:42
Speaker 2: throw them in the garbage. You're just wasting their money.
• 1:14:44
Speaker 2: And it's very expensive to do that. I just throw
• 1:14:46
Speaker 2: them all in the mail. I throw them all in
• 1:14:47
Speaker 2: the mail. I throw them all in the garbage. I
• 1:14:49
Speaker 2: don't give them the time of day.
• 1:14:50
Speaker 20: But hasn't it been worse this year?
• 1:14:52
Speaker 30: I feel like it's been worse.
• 1:14:54
Speaker 2: And I get really, actually, I get really somewhat... It
• 1:14:58
Speaker 2: actually bothers me, and I say this to both of you.
• 1:15:01
Speaker 2: I'm sick and tired of these people texting me these
• 1:15:05
Speaker 2: campaign messages that they put out on these text things.
• 1:15:09
  Speaker 2: It's like your phone isn't private anymore. It's like here's
• 1:15:16
Speaker 2: some text message that some campaign puts out that goes
• 1:15:20
Speaker 2: to your phone, and it's.
• 1:15:21
Speaker 26: Like— It's annoying from both parties.
• 1:15:24
  Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 1:15:25
  Speaker 24: It is.
• 1:15:27
Speaker 28: And both parties are so guilty of this. I mean,
• 1:15:30
Speaker 28: like I said, before you went to break, Amy Acton
• 1:15:33
Speaker 28: has ran her mouth, called him a liar, said he
• 1:15:36
Speaker 28: was just this old Alzheimer's drug, talked about his mother,
• 1:15:40
Speaker 28: and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, right? I wasn't like, oh,
• 1:15:44
Speaker 28: my God, I can't believe she stooped so low.
• 1:15:48
  Speaker 30: I mean, like, I didn't really care.
• 1:15:50
Speaker 7: I thought, you know what?
• 1:15:52
Speaker 28: It comes down to content and who I think is
• 1:15:55
Speaker 28: going to do a better job running the state I mean,
• 1:15:58
Speaker 28: to be honest, they probably both have lied.
• 1:16:00
  Speaker 4: Let's be real.
• 1:16:02
  Speaker 28: At some point.
• 1:16:03
Speaker 26: My whole thing with Vivek is I think he has
• 1:16:06
Speaker 26: higher expectations, so he wants to build a resume for
• 1:16:09
Speaker 26: his political career. What better way to do that than
• 1:16:11
Speaker 26: elect him as governor and see what he can do here?
• 1:16:14
Speaker 26: Why is Amy Acton even running for governor? If you
• 1:16:16
Speaker 26: ask somebody who's voting, she has nothing.
• 1:16:20
Speaker 28: And being a doctor doesn't mean you have anything.
• 1:16:25
Speaker 21: But that has nothing to do with.
• 1:16:26
  Speaker 28: Running a massive budget. She's got a $ 100 billion budget.
• 1:16:30
Speaker 28: I'm going to give it to her.
• 1:16:32
  Speaker 30: $ 100 billion.
• 1:16:33
Speaker 28: I mean, think about that.
• 1:16:35
  Speaker 20: Amy Ackett.
• 1:16:36
Speaker 30: She has no business, private sector experience.
• 1:16:38
Speaker 28: What the hell is she going to do with the budget?
• 1:16:41
  Speaker 6: I'm a big proponent.
• 1:16:42
Speaker 26: I don't think there's any solutions to most of our problems.
• 1:16:46
  Speaker 4: There's only trade-offs.
• 1:16:48
Speaker 26: I'm just looking for the one who keeps more money
• 1:16:50
Speaker 26: in my pocket without me needing to trade more of
• 1:16:53
Speaker 26: my time and more of my money for it. I
• 1:16:56
Speaker 26: just want somebody who can just stop the bleeding. They
• 1:16:59
Speaker 26: don't even have to do anything spectacular. Just don't do
• 1:17:02
Speaker 26: anything stupid. That's all I'm asking for, even from the
• 1:17:05
Speaker 26: local to the state level. I always take a 30,000-foot
• 1:17:08
Speaker 26: view of this. From a federal level, everything is so
• 1:17:11
Speaker 26: screwed up because our financial system and our monetary system
• 1:17:15
Speaker 26: is so out of whack. We can talk about inflation
• 1:17:18
Speaker 26: and how bad it's gotten, but it is never going
• 1:17:21
Speaker 26: to be corrected. You can't do anything with oil, with taxes,
• 1:17:25
Speaker 26: with any of that. You can solve all those problems,
• 1:17:27
Speaker 26: but we will continue to have problems in our country
• 1:17:30
Speaker 26: and trickle down from the federal level to the state
• 1:17:32
Speaker 26: level and to the local level. The only issue is
• 1:17:36
Speaker 26: on the state level and the local level, we can't
• 1:17:38
Speaker 26: print our own money to get out of the problems.
• 1:17:40
Speaker 26: So the only way we could do these problems and
• 1:17:42
Speaker 26: solve them from a political standpoint is by taxing you more,
• 1:17:46
Speaker 26: because they're not going to do the right thing by
• 1:17:47
Speaker 26: being more efficient. You have to get elected by giving
• 1:17:50
Speaker 26: away as much as you can to the voter who
• 1:17:52
Speaker 26: wants the most amount of stuff.
• 1:17:54
Speaker 6: So you have to appease them.
• 1:17:55
Speaker 26: And it continuously gets worse and worse as time goes on.
• 1:17:58
Speaker 26: And I've said it a lot before, too. The largest
• 1:18:01
Speaker 26: group you have to appease to is the boomers, because
• 1:18:04
Speaker 26: those are the ones who actually go out and vote.
• 1:18:06
Speaker 26: The young vote, they're not motivated to go out and vote,
• 1:18:09
Speaker 26: and they're not a large enough population where you need
• 1:18:12
Speaker 26: to give them what they want to actually get elected.
• 1:18:15
Speaker 26: So for a lot of these problems to get fixed,
• 1:18:17
Speaker 26: they're not going to. So like many callers have said,
• 1:18:20
Speaker 26: you can vote for a Republican or a Democrat. Usually
• 1:18:23
Speaker 26: most of them are bad no matter what. Look at
• 1:18:25
Speaker 26: our governor right now. Look how many times we've called
• 1:18:28
Speaker 26: and talked about the dumb things or the things he's
• 1:18:30
Speaker 26: done that we wish he wouldn't have done. But the
• 1:18:32
Speaker 26: issue is one's going to be far worse. It's just
• 1:18:35
Speaker 26: like you could complain about Trump and what he hasn't
• 1:18:38
Speaker 26: done until the cows come home. But I would vote
• 1:18:40
Speaker 26: for him a thousand times over if Kamala Harris is
• 1:18:43
Speaker 26: on the ballot with him, if Joe Biden's on the
• 1:18:45
Speaker 26: ballot with him. But we have so many problems that
• 1:18:48
Speaker 26: can't be fixed because our monetary system is broken. There
• 1:18:52
  Speaker 26: is no reason.
• 1:18:53
Speaker 5: Why you can't just work.
• 1:18:56
Speaker 28: But you can't get people elected that aren't being backed
• 1:19:01
Speaker 28: by special interests. And because of the way the campaigns
• 1:19:05
Speaker 28: are financed, you know, You've got outside money and outside influence.
• 1:19:10
Speaker 28: And somebody with good intentions is just going to get
• 1:19:12
Speaker 28: in there and rip it all apart and, you know,
• 1:19:15
Speaker 28: talk about zero-based budgeting. And how are you going to
• 1:19:18
Speaker 28: actually increase efficiency, do the right thing, stop the fraud,
• 1:19:22
Speaker 28: stop the wait? Everybody is beholden to donors.
• 1:19:28
Speaker 6: Every single one of them.
• 1:19:29
  Speaker 5: That's 100% true.
• 1:19:30
Speaker 6: Because the only way.
• 1:19:31
Speaker 26: You can elevate that level is if somebody helped you.
• 1:19:34
Speaker 28: But I think that's the foundation.
• 1:19:36
  Speaker 30: That's the problem.
• 1:19:38
Speaker 28: The problem is that anybody can donate a bazillion dollars
• 1:19:44
  Speaker 28: and buy influence.
• 1:19:49
Speaker 26: Well, I will say, Boss Lady, we've called Ron. Have
• 1:19:52
Speaker 26: you used any AI that.
• 1:19:54
Speaker 6: We've ever talked about to improve.
• 1:19:56
Speaker 26: Efficiency and do more work for yourself? Have you been
• 1:19:59
Speaker 26: using any of those? Because I know in government, if
• 1:20:02
Speaker 26: they actually started using them for efficiency... The way Boss
• 1:20:05
Speaker 26: Lady and I do, they could do a lot better.
• 1:20:07
Speaker 26: But the thing is, I don't think they want to
• 1:20:09
Speaker 26: because it's like layers of the onion. If you actually
• 1:20:12
Speaker 26: use deficiency to get to the center of what the
• 1:20:14
Speaker 26: problem is, you might be out of a job.
• 1:20:16
Speaker 2: I think AI can be a game changer when it
• 1:20:18
Speaker 2: comes to fraud and government waste. And if it's used properly,
• 1:20:23
Speaker 2: it can be a great asset. If you understand it.
• 1:20:26
Speaker 28: Yeah, it's going to detect quickly, like quickly. You just
• 1:20:29
Speaker 28: have to be smart enough to know the right questions
• 1:20:31
Speaker 28: to ask and be analytical. But, I mean, you can
• 1:20:34
Speaker 28: load data, more data than you could ever digest and
• 1:20:41
Speaker 28: have it pull out highs and lows, anything that's abnormal.
• 1:20:46
  Speaker 2: Absolutely.
• 1:20:47
Speaker 28: I mean, it would be the first place you would look.
• 1:20:50
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 1:20:51
Speaker 28: But they don't want it.
• 1:20:55
Speaker 26: I don't know if you're doing it. You might be,
• 1:20:57
Speaker 26: but have you given your AI access to your email?
• 1:21:01
  Speaker 5: Yes.
• 1:21:01
Speaker 26: Maybe not your work email, but private email or either.
• 1:21:06
Speaker 28: My work email, but I actually have a closed system,
• 1:21:09
Speaker 28: so I'm using it within my work.
• 1:21:11
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:21:12
Speaker 30: It does all of that.
• 1:21:13
Speaker 28: It'll remind me when to follow up. It'll tell me
• 1:21:16
Speaker 28: what to do. It'll say, hey, you didn't get a
• 1:21:18
Speaker 28: response back from this. It literally does my job.
• 1:21:24
Speaker 7: I mean, I have it doing presentations, everything.
• 1:21:26
  Speaker 28: All of it.
• 1:21:28
Speaker 26: I mean, not only from a work level, just from
• 1:21:30
Speaker 26: a personal level. For example, the other day, I wanted
• 1:21:34
Speaker 26: new home and car insurance. I find that the most
• 1:21:37
Speaker 26: But it's like getting a root canal looking for new insurance.
• 1:21:40
Speaker 26: I don't want to go online, put in all my information,
• 1:21:42
Speaker 26: wait for an email to come back for them to
• 1:21:45
Speaker 26: call me. I told my bots in my email, pull
• 1:21:48
Speaker 26: up my current declaration for my home and auto, draft
• 1:21:51
Speaker 26: an email to this, this, this, and this, you know,
• 1:21:54
Speaker 26: insurance agency, find out which email it needs to go to,
• 1:21:57
Speaker 26: and send it to all of them. I opened up
• 1:21:59
Speaker 26: my Gmail account. It's in my draft. I hit click, click, click, click, click, sent.
• 1:22:03
Speaker 6: The emails, and I got all the responses.
• 1:22:06
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 1:22:07
Speaker 26: Just personal things like that. So from a government standpoint,
• 1:22:10
Speaker 26: you don't have to.
• 1:22:11
Speaker 6: Go back through years.
• 1:22:13
Speaker 2: Wait a second. So did you find a lower rate?
• 1:22:15
Speaker 2: Tell me about the outcome.
• 1:22:18
Speaker 26: Of course they found a lower rate.
• 1:22:20
Speaker 2: Same insurance. Did you find substantial savings with the same coverage?
• 1:22:26
  Speaker 3: No.
• 1:22:27
Speaker 26: I'm a little sanguine on my current insurance provider for
• 1:22:31
Speaker 26: things unrelated to this, so I want to get rid
• 1:22:33
Speaker 26: of them anyway. I mean, it wasn't a drastic savings,
• 1:22:36
Speaker 26: but it's still better when you go out and shop around.
• 1:22:38
Speaker 26: They're always trying to get your business, so it's usually
• 1:22:40
Speaker 26: a little lower at first. It's nothing earth-shattering. But the
• 1:22:45
Speaker 26: fact that I saved a little bit of money there,
• 1:22:47
Speaker 26: I had to do no work for it. I had
• 1:22:49
Speaker 26: my AI agents, my five bots in my email, do
• 1:22:52
Speaker 26: all the work for me. I didn't have to spend
• 1:22:54
Speaker 26: an evening... When it's nice outside, sitting on the computer
• 1:22:58
Speaker 26: doing all this work. I talked into my phone and
• 1:23:01
Speaker 26: it was done. And that's just one of many things.
• 1:23:04
Speaker 26: You can just tell them to go through email and say, hey,
• 1:23:06
  Speaker 26: find all this.
• 1:23:07
Speaker 6: This is just, I'm talking personal stuff.
• 1:23:08
Speaker 26: There's way more, you know, efficient things you can do.
• 1:23:11
Speaker 26: You could tell it, just go back through your emails
• 1:23:13
Speaker 26: and say, hey, find subscriptions that I'm paying for right now.
• 1:23:16
Speaker 26: Just give me a list.
• 1:23:17
  Speaker 4: It's a list.
• 1:23:18
Speaker 26: You could see which things you're paying for that you
• 1:23:20
Speaker 26: don't even need. You don't realize you're paying for it.
• 1:23:22
Speaker 26: And it has all of that memory because your email
• 1:23:25
Speaker 26: is going back through years. It can go through all
• 1:23:27
Speaker 26: of the memory. Most of these AIs, you've got to
• 1:23:30
Speaker 26: pay for them to get more tokens so you can
• 1:23:33
Speaker 26: have more usage. And one of the tough things about
• 1:23:35
Speaker 26: it is memory. So it doesn't remember as much unless
• 1:23:38
Speaker 26: you're paying for more. But from a government standpoint, can
• 1:23:42
Speaker 26: you imagine the efficiency if you were just in any
• 1:23:45
Speaker 26: part of the government and said, hey, go back through
• 1:23:47
Speaker 26: the last 10 years and find this, this, and this,
• 1:23:50
Speaker 26: and find the inefficiencies here, here, and here? I mean,
• 1:23:53
Speaker 26: the fact that we don't even see or hear about
• 1:23:56
Speaker 26: these politicians saying what kind of AI they're using to
• 1:23:59
Speaker 26: make their job more efficient for the taxpayer, I think
• 1:24:02
Speaker 26: is mind-blowing to me in itself. Maybe they are.
• 1:24:04
  Speaker 6: I don't know.
• 1:24:06
Speaker 26: But these little things that you can actually use the
• 1:24:09
Speaker 26: AI for, it's not going to solve all your problems.
• 1:24:11
Speaker 26: You know, I can go through a number of things
• 1:24:13
Speaker 26: on how, you know, it's probably not as smart as we,
• 1:24:15
Speaker 26: you know, make it out to believe or, you know,
• 1:24:17
Speaker 26: how quickly it's going to take over the world, anything
• 1:24:19
Speaker 26: like that. But there are a lot of efficiency uses
• 1:24:22
Speaker 26: you can use it for right now that people just
• 1:24:25
Speaker 26: don't because they might be scared of using it.
• 1:24:28
Speaker 2: There you go. All right. All right, Alec. Thank you.
• 1:24:32
Speaker 2: Boss lady, thank you. Do you notice a boss lady
• 1:24:34
Speaker 2: went to an Amish country the other day, Alec? I mean,
• 1:24:38
Speaker 2: she's driving through Amish country. On her way to make
• 1:24:41
  Speaker 2: her presentation.
• 1:24:42
Speaker 30: No season jerks for me. Not enough time.
• 1:24:46
Speaker 26: Those Amish kids probably know how to use AI better
• 1:24:48
Speaker 26: than you do at this point.
• 1:24:51
  Speaker 20: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:24:52
  Speaker 9: Probably do.
• 1:24:52
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:24:53
Speaker 2: Oh, thanks a lot. All right, you two. I've had
• 1:24:55
Speaker 2: enough of both of you. All right. Goodbye. News Radio
• 1:24:58
Speaker 2: 570 WKBN. You're on the air.
• 1:25:03
  Speaker 13: Ron?
• 1:25:03
  Speaker 5: Yes?
• 1:25:04
  Speaker 6: Hi, Frank.
• 1:25:05
  Speaker 16: I have a lot of respect for J.J., Because he's
• 1:25:09
Speaker 16: an animal lover like myself. A pit bull named Sparkles
• 1:25:16
Speaker 16: was shot Sunday down here.
• 1:25:18
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:25:19
Speaker 16: And her two puppies were pressed against her, trembling in fear.
• 1:25:23
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 1:25:24
Speaker 16: And she laid there helpless for 10 hours in excruciating pain.
• 1:25:29
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 1:25:30
Speaker 16: And now yesterday on our local news.
• 1:25:32
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:25:33
Speaker 16: Some a-holes going around capturing flamingos. ripping their... and breaking
• 1:25:42
  Speaker 16: their necks?
• 1:25:43
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 1:25:45
Speaker 16: I can't... Oh, wait a second. Oh, my girlfriend said
• 1:25:50
Speaker 16: that grabbed them by the neck and did what?
• 1:25:54
  Speaker 13: Yeah, they were.
• 1:25:55
Speaker 16: Oh, anyways. But I also wanted to correct you on
• 1:26:01
  Speaker 16: one thing.
• 1:26:02
  Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
• 1:26:03
Speaker 16: China has moved beyond cheap labor to high-tech automation. The
• 1:26:09
Speaker 16: Chinese economy has shown remarkable resilience during the global economic
• 1:26:16
Speaker 16: crisis so far. And now the Chinese, they build a
• 1:26:25
Speaker 16: better car than anybody in the world. If you put
• 1:26:30
Speaker 16: tariff taxes on Chinese cars, like we were talking about
• 1:26:36
Speaker 16: the other day, instead of buying a car for $ 13, 700,
• 1:26:40
Speaker 16: you have to pay almost $ 50, 000 for that same car
• 1:26:47
Speaker 16: because of tariff taxes. That's not protecting America.
• 1:26:51
  Speaker 2: I don't know that you're not paying $ 50, 000 because of
• 1:26:53
Speaker 2: tariff taxes. That's not the case at all. You're paying
• 1:26:57
Speaker 2: that because of the standards of America, the cost of American... employees,
• 1:27:02
Speaker 2: particularly in the auto industry, the retirees, the health care costs,
• 1:27:08
Speaker 2: the wages costs, all the benefits that each worker gets,
• 1:27:12
Speaker 2: the taxes that the plant pays, the property taxes, the upkeep.
• 1:27:16
Speaker 2: I mean, that's why you're paying so much for that vehicle.
• 1:27:20
Speaker 2: It's not all tariffs. Tariff-related, the argument is if you
• 1:27:24
Speaker 2: let these vehicles come in from China, it'll simply wipe
• 1:27:29
Speaker 2: out the American auto industry. It'll just totally be wiped
• 1:27:31
Speaker 2: out and all the employees. And or if you ever
• 1:27:35
Speaker 2: need to convert those plants over to making any type
• 1:27:37
Speaker 2: of military equipment. I mean, there's ramifications to this stuff
• 1:27:41
Speaker 2: that affect American lives and American families and American communities that–
• 1:27:48
  Speaker 2: But it's not tariffs that is why you're paying $ 50, 000
• 1:27:51
Speaker 2: for a vehicle. It's the cost involved in everything from
• 1:27:56
Speaker 2: the components that are in it. You've got backup cameras
• 1:28:00
Speaker 2: on a car. You've got more technology on a car
• 1:28:02
Speaker 2: than you've ever had it versus what I drive. And
• 1:28:05
Speaker 2: you look at my wife's car with all this electronic,
• 1:28:08
Speaker 2: electronic dashboard, electronic cameras all over. It's a lot of
• 1:28:12
Speaker 2: technology in a vehicle today.
• 1:28:15
Speaker 16: Well, there's a lot of technology in it. Chinese vehicles.
• 1:28:20
  Speaker 9: Right.
• 1:28:21
  Speaker 2: I don't deny that.
• 1:28:21
Speaker 16: Well, and they've got a car that can go 1,000
• 1:28:26
Speaker 16: miles on a tank of gas.
• 1:28:28
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 1:28:29
Speaker 16: Or 500 miles on one battery recharge.
• 1:28:33
Speaker 2: Okay, let's let them all in. Let's not have any tariffs.
• 1:28:35
Speaker 2: And when we put GM Ford and Chrysler out of business...
• 1:28:40
Speaker 2: and all those people lose their jobs and all those
• 1:28:42
Speaker 2: communities lose those factories, what do we do now?
• 1:28:46
Speaker 16: Well, what happened when China put all of their automobile
• 1:28:53
Speaker 16: workers out of work?
• 1:28:55
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 1:28:56
Speaker 16: Their economy is still doing great.
• 1:28:58
  Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know how it's doing. I
• 1:29:00
Speaker 2: don't live in China. I know there's plenty of poor
• 1:29:02
Speaker 2: people in China, and I know China's got a whole
• 1:29:05
Speaker 2: different system. So I can't tell you what they did
• 1:29:08
Speaker 2: in China or if they give a damn about China.
• 1:29:10
Speaker 2: I know that they got that one segment over there
• 1:29:13
Speaker 2: that they treat basically like slaves. So I couldn't tell
• 1:29:17
Speaker 2: you what they do there. But I don't live in China.
• 1:29:19
Speaker 2: I live here. And it's like, what are we going
• 1:29:21
Speaker 2: to do here with the plants that close and the
• 1:29:27
Speaker 2: people that are out of work? That's all well and good,
• 1:29:30
Speaker 2: and the ripple effect that comes from it. Do you
• 1:29:33
Speaker 2: know how many businesses benefit from supplying these car plants
• 1:29:38
Speaker 2: and these large industries? Stand by, Frank. Back to him
• 1:29:41
Speaker 2: in a minute. More calls ahead. Ron Furb, Kingdom of Mahoney,
• 1:29:44
  Speaker 2: here till 6.
• 1:29:48
Speaker 1: For 35 years, thousands of our friends.
• 1:29:50
Speaker 14: For you now, it's Weather and Talk Station 570 WKBN.
• 1:29:55
Speaker 2: 454 News Radio 570 WKBN 69 degrees. Sorry, go ahead, Frank.
• 1:30:01
Speaker 16: Yeah, Ron, technology has put more people out of work
• 1:30:06
Speaker 16: than foreign competition and investment capital always seeks out the
• 1:30:12
Speaker 16: lowest cost of production. If you try to prevent lower-cost
• 1:30:19
Speaker 16: goods from entering the United States, you'll end up creating
• 1:30:23
Speaker 16: a black market, just like you do with drugs. Now,
• 1:30:29
Speaker 16: I also wanted to mention that Marco Rubio and Zionist
• 1:30:33
Speaker 16: Stephen Miller recently stated that all people with left-wing views
• 1:30:39
Speaker 16: are political terrorists. Did you hear that?
• 1:30:42
Speaker 2: I have not heard that.
• 1:30:44
Speaker 16: Well, their new definition includes far more than left-wing. The
• 1:30:50
Speaker 16: White House announced in July that far-left extremism will be
• 1:30:55
Speaker 16: treated with the same severity as Muslim terrorists. Now, anyone
• 1:31:00
Speaker 16: who criticizes the Trump administration or Israel is now a terrorist.
• 1:31:07
Speaker 16: And according to documents leaked by Rubio's State Department, groups
• 1:31:12
Speaker 16: that the administration is going to target include pro-Iranian anti-Semitic networks,
• 1:31:20
Speaker 16: anti-tech movements, and ecology movements. And if you protest against
• 1:31:27
Speaker 16: data centers... Trump and the Zionist will accuse you.
• 1:31:33
Speaker 2: I believe it when I see it. Not when you
• 1:31:36
  Speaker 2: say it. I haven't read it. I haven't seen it.
• 1:31:39
Speaker 2: I'll believe it when I see it. And I'll say
• 1:31:41
Speaker 2: it once again to everybody. I am totally opposed to
• 1:31:44
Speaker 2: any restrictions on people's abilities to express their opinions or protest.
• 1:31:49
Speaker 2: That's what freedom of speech is all about. That's what
• 1:31:52
Speaker 2: America is all about. And anybody that tries to squelch
• 1:31:56
Speaker 2: that on any level... I am opposed to it 100%.
• 1:32:01
Speaker 2: I don't care if they're Democrats or Republicans. And this
• 1:32:04
Speaker 2: whole idea that you can't criticize a country and it
• 1:32:06
Speaker 2: makes you a terrorist or you should be arrested for
• 1:32:11
Speaker 2: it is something I don't approve of, won't approve of,
• 1:32:13
Speaker 2: and will never support. All right, Fort Lauderdale, enough. Thank
• 1:32:17
Speaker 2: you for your call. News Radio 570 WKBN 457. You're
• 1:32:19
Speaker 2: on the air. Hey, Ronnie, how are you doing today? Well,
• 1:32:24
Speaker 2: I was looking for Richard Pharmacist, but you're not him.
• 1:32:26
  Speaker 2: But go ahead.
• 1:32:28
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 1:32:29
Speaker 33: Well, I just want to tell you that you have
• 1:32:31
Speaker 33: a unique opportunity with your show in Youngstown to figure
• 1:32:38
Speaker 33: out this whole Vivek Ramaswamy ad with Amy Acton. So
• 1:32:44
Speaker 33: Amy Acton says that she's born and raised in Youngstown.
• 1:32:50
Speaker 33: And the only person that I've heard defending her at
• 1:32:55
Speaker 33: this point is her brother, Has she not made any
• 1:33:00
Speaker 33: friends in the Youngstown area that could call into your
• 1:33:03
Speaker 33: show and give a test to what.
• 1:33:06
  Speaker 8: Type of person?
• 1:33:07
Speaker 2: Well, there's a couple of things. First and foremost, I'm
• 1:33:10
Speaker 2: not getting involved on a personal level in the situation
• 1:33:15
Speaker 2: of the ad that was run. As I said before
• 1:33:18
Speaker 2: and as I'll say again, I'll vote for Ramaswamy. It
• 1:33:20
Speaker 2: has nothing to do about that ad, whether it was
• 1:33:22
Speaker 2: good or bad or how it lacked taste. I will
• 1:33:27
Speaker 2: vote for Ramaswamy because I think he's a better choice
• 1:33:29
Speaker 2: of the two people that are running to be governor
• 1:33:31
Speaker 2: in the state of Ohio. That ad will not affect
• 1:33:34
Speaker 2: my vote one way or the other. I think it
• 1:33:37
Speaker 2: was a bad decision on his part. And so there's
• 1:33:40
Speaker 2: nothing more I can say about that. I'm not going
• 1:33:42
Speaker 2: to get involved in this situation between Amy Acton and
• 1:33:47
Speaker 2: her mother and her stepfather and these family issues that
• 1:33:52
Speaker 2: I have absolutely no interest in or desire to know
• 1:33:54
Speaker 2: any more about. Stand by, all right? Stand by. I mean,
• 1:33:59
Speaker 2: that's where I am on that. Back with him and
• 1:34:01
Speaker 2: more calls after this.
• 1:34:20
Speaker 21: This may be the closest they've ever been. I'm Lisa Brady,
• 1:34:23
Speaker 21: Fox News. What President Trump is saying about diplomatic efforts
• 1:34:26
Speaker 21: to end the war in Ukraine, as he also defends
• 1:34:29
Speaker 21: pausing new sanctions on Russia during efforts to free an
• 1:34:33
Speaker 21: American held in Russia. Retired teacher Stephen Hubbard, who was
• 1:34:36
  Speaker 21: released earlier today.
• 1:34:38
Speaker 23: If you were to put those sanctions on or whatever
• 1:34:40
Speaker 23: you want to call him, you could forget about him.
• 1:34:42
Speaker 8: You'd never see him again.
• 1:34:43
Speaker 23: He'd be back in jail for 25 years.
• 1:34:45
Speaker 21: The president also pointing to negotiations on Ukraine.
• 1:34:49
Speaker 23: We are maybe close to a deal for the first
• 1:34:51
Speaker 23: time in a long time.
• 1:34:53
Speaker 1: We're maybe close to a deal.
• 1:34:54
Speaker 23: When you're close to a deal and you have very
• 1:34:56
Speaker 23: delicate negotiations, you don't put sanctions on.
• 1:35:00
Speaker 21: His envoy, Steve Witkoff, meeting with President Putin in St.
• 1:35:03
Speaker 21: Petersburg today after a meeting with Ukraine's president in Norway yesterday.
• 1:35:07
Speaker 21: The president taking questions before heading to South Carolina for
• 1:35:10
Speaker 21: his latest midterm rally in a push to boost turnout
• 1:35:13
Speaker 21: for Republicans, including new Senator Darlene Graham, whose late brother, Lindsey.
• 1:35:18
Speaker 22: Spearheaded the Russia sanctions that are now on hold.
• 1:35:21
Speaker 21: Earlier, a White House event to highlight the fight against
• 1:35:24
  Speaker 21: transnational cyber criminals.
• 1:35:26
Speaker 34: Criminals using online scams are costing American individuals and businesses
• 1:35:30
Speaker 34: $ 20 billion, President Trump says.
• 1:35:34
Speaker 23: Countless American victims have had their life savings, bank accounts,
• 1:35:38
Speaker 23: college funds and more emptied by these thieves.
• 1:35:42
Speaker 34: Top law enforcement officials like Attorney General Todd Blanche and
• 1:35:46
Speaker 34: FBI Director Kash Patel joined the president for a cybercrime roundtable.
• 1:35:50
Speaker 34: detailing operations to dismantle overseas syndicates accused of using online
• 1:35:55
Speaker 34: scams to take advantage of elderly Americans.
• 1:35:58
Speaker 21: Fox's Jared Halpern at the White House. Just getting word
• 1:36:01
Speaker 21: that Tropical Storm Vance has formed in the Pacific Ocean,
• 1:36:05
Speaker 21: but forecasters say right now it's not posing any threat
• 1:36:08
Speaker 21: to land, centered about 520 miles south of Acapulco, Mexico.
• 1:36:14
Speaker 21: America is listening to Fox News.
• 1:36:19
Speaker 2: This is the Fox News Rundown Podcast.
• 1:36:22
  Speaker 24: Here's the story.
• 1:36:23
Speaker 20: Politics and policies taking place here in the nation's capital.
• 1:36:26
Speaker 22: Here's why it matters.
• 1:36:27
Speaker 31: What you see here is endless amounts of barbed wire.
• 1:36:30
  Speaker 22: Here's what's changing.
• 1:36:32
Speaker 21: Sources are telling us that the president is inside the
• 1:36:34
  Speaker 21: Oval Office.
• 1:36:35
Speaker 1: Here's who it affects. Carrier deployments used to be six months.
• 1:36:38
Speaker 22: Here's what happens next.
• 1:36:39
Speaker 2: It's news broken down by the people who break it.
• 1:36:42
  Speaker 1: That's the rundown.
• 1:36:43
Speaker 2: The Fox News Rundown Podcast. Listen every day wherever you

• 1:37:15
Speaker 2: Hope to see you.
• 1:37:16
Speaker 1: America's listening. A to Z dependable services, plumbing, septic, heating, cooling,
• 1:37:21
Speaker 1: and one-day baths. Pretty quiet ride on the highways. Unverbed.
• 1:37:25
Speaker 2: On NewsRadio 570, WKBN. All right, back to where we go. 505,
• 1:37:31
Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570, WKBN, and Unverbed, 68 degrees. So anyway, getting
• 1:37:35
Speaker 2: back to my caller prior to the break. So I'm
• 1:37:37
Speaker 2: not getting involved in that situation at all. I mean,
• 1:37:42
Speaker 2: the ad, I think, was in poor taste. I'm sure
• 1:37:45
Speaker 2: that these consultants thought, oh, this will work great. It
• 1:37:48
Speaker 2: seems like it's backfired a little bit on Ramaswamy. But
• 1:37:53
Speaker 2: she's leading in the polls. I'm not voting for her.
• 1:37:56
Speaker 2: This ad doesn't change my vote at all. I think
• 1:37:58
Speaker 2: Ramaswamy is a much better choice for governor. And that
• 1:38:02
Speaker 2: whole personal situation in her life is really none of
• 1:38:04
  Speaker 2: my business.
• 1:38:06
Speaker 33: So the earlier caller said there's no video of the attack,
• 1:38:11
Speaker 33: so-called attacking, you know, at the Canfield Fair. But Megyn
• 1:38:15
Speaker 33: Kelly did have, someone did have a cell phone of
• 1:38:19
Speaker 33: it in there, and it looked like nothing at all happened.
• 1:38:24
Speaker 2: Well, it was pretty much nothing and nothing. You heard
• 1:38:26
Speaker 2: the comments of the prosecutor about this situation. She summed
• 1:38:29
Speaker 2: it all up. and that's what that's why the charges
• 1:38:32
Speaker 2: were what they were it was not what it what
• 1:38:34
Speaker 2: they said it was.
• 1:38:37
Speaker 33: And the reason why there's no video is because amy
• 1:38:40
Speaker 33: acton doesn't want any video at her event now what
• 1:38:44
Speaker 33: kind of politician what's she trying to hide.
• 1:38:46
Speaker 2: I don't know what she's trying to hide or do
• 1:38:49
Speaker 2: or whatever, but the reality is, you know, the guy
• 1:38:52
Speaker 2: that they made these accusations against, like I say, where
• 1:38:55
Speaker 2: does he go to get his reputation back? I mean,
• 1:38:58
Speaker 2: I just don't– where does he go to get that
• 1:39:00
Speaker 2: back since it wasn't what it appeared to be and
• 1:39:03
Speaker 2: his name was dragged through the mud like that? And
• 1:39:05
  Speaker 2: I don't– I just don't get it, and that's why
• 1:39:10
Speaker 2: I was not charged.
• 1:39:11
Speaker 33: If you're running for governor, though, and you don't want
• 1:39:14
Speaker 33: cameras around when you're speaking in public.
• 1:39:17
  Speaker 2: I don't understand that.
• 1:39:19
Speaker 15: Do you want a governor like that?
• 1:39:21
  Speaker 33: I don't think so.
• 1:39:22
Speaker 2: I don't think so because usually people are recording that
• 1:39:24
Speaker 2: stuff just because it's a big deal to them or
• 1:39:28
Speaker 2: it's history or they want to prove that they were
• 1:39:30
Speaker 2: there or post it on Facebook. I don't know why
• 1:39:32
Speaker 2: she would– listen, I can't explain to you why she
• 1:39:36
Speaker 2: won't debate Ramaswami. I can't explain to you why she
• 1:39:39
Speaker 2: decided to quit in the thick of it with COVID
• 1:39:42
Speaker 2: as the state's doctor. I mean, can you tell me
• 1:39:46
Speaker 2: what her game plans are, what her vision is for
• 1:39:50
Speaker 2: the state? What makes you think she has any ability
• 1:39:52
Speaker 2: to run a state with a budget this large because what,
• 1:39:58
  Speaker 2: she was a doctor? I just don't see that. I
• 1:40:02
Speaker 2: think Ramaswamy is way more qualified to run this state
• 1:40:05
  Speaker 2: than she is.
• 1:40:05
Speaker 35: Yeah, I do as well.
• 1:40:09
Speaker 33: I mean, the Dems always fight dirty. So, you know,
• 1:40:12
Speaker 33: and all of a sudden the Republicans fight dirty and
• 1:40:15
Speaker 33: it's some kind of major crime. Hey, Ronnie, um, You
• 1:40:19
Speaker 33: were talking about breaking news. You said that baby boomers
• 1:40:23
Speaker 33: are dying off. So I Googled it, Ronnie, and that's
• 1:40:26
  Speaker 33: me and you.
• 1:40:27
Speaker 13: We're dying off, Ronnie.
• 1:40:28
Speaker 2: That's right. Well, it's true. When I say there will
• 1:40:32
Speaker 2: be a bunch of the housing shortage will go away
• 1:40:34
Speaker 2: as we're getting in the beginning of really the baby
• 1:40:36
Speaker 2: boomers dying off. They're just aged out and dying off.
• 1:40:39
Speaker 2: I'm at the end of it. And as you well know,
• 1:40:42
Speaker 2: there's more behind me than there's ahead. That's just the reality.
• 1:40:47
  Speaker 2: Death is inevitable.
• 1:40:49
Speaker 33: Hey, I got to go so I can enjoy life.
• 1:40:52
Speaker 2: All right, go enjoy your life. You're on the air.
• 1:40:55
Speaker 6: Ron, good evening, sir.
• 1:40:56
  Speaker 13: How are you?
• 1:40:57
Speaker 2: I am well. It's Rich, the pharmacist.
• 1:41:00
Speaker 6: The one thing everybody needs to keep in their mind
• 1:41:04
Speaker 6: when Acton becomes our next governor.
• 1:41:06
  Speaker 2: And she will.
• 1:41:07
  Speaker 6: I think it's a fait accompli, unfortunately. I will vote
• 1:41:12
Speaker 6: Republican straight down the ticket.
• 1:41:14
Speaker 2: And Sherrod Brown will win as well, I think.
• 1:41:17
Speaker 6: Yeah, unfortunately. I think it's going to be a bloodbath
• 1:41:21
Speaker 6: in November. I think this is going to be our 2024.
• 1:41:25
Speaker 6: And let me bounce this off.
• 1:41:28
Speaker 2: Of you, because you're a pretty insightful guy. I mean, folks,
• 1:41:31
Speaker 2: I'll just tell you this. I think if you see.
• 1:41:35
Speaker 2: The losses as a result, James Carville said it's the
• 1:41:38
Speaker 2: economy's stupid. Trump has nobody to blame for these losses
• 1:41:42
Speaker 2: but himself. I mean, he did not sell this situation
• 1:41:45
Speaker 2: in Iran to the public one bit. He didn't have
• 1:41:48
Speaker 2: enough money. He just didn't sell it to the public
• 1:41:54
Speaker 2: or explain to the public or make sure the public
• 1:41:57
Speaker 2: was on board with this or perhaps even understand the
• 1:41:59
Speaker 2: ramifications that have come from it. So as a result
• 1:42:04
Speaker 2: of it, the inflation and people not being in supportive
• 1:42:06
Speaker 2: of this, G2 said it best. I'm just rambling here.
• 1:42:11
Speaker 2: G2 said Trump dropped the ball on the Epstein files.
• 1:42:15
Speaker 2: He said it when that happens and he should have
• 1:42:17
Speaker 2: released everything. And Trump, G2, is opposed to this war
• 1:42:21
Speaker 2: in Iran, and I think he was right on that, too.
• 1:42:24
Speaker 2: And I don't know what Trump knows. But with that
• 1:42:28
Speaker 2: being said, that very well is– he has nobody to
• 1:42:31
Speaker 2: blame but himself if he loses the midterms and he
• 1:42:35
Speaker 2: becomes a lame duck president for the next two years.
• 1:42:38
Speaker 2: Go look in the mirror. You did it to yourself.
• 1:42:41
Speaker 2: Because as G2 said, you got away from the America
• 1:42:45
Speaker 2: First agenda by going down these rabbit holes. And it's
• 1:42:49
Speaker 2: going to come back to bite you. And the American
• 1:42:51
Speaker 2: First agenda is going to just get derailed for the
• 1:42:53
Speaker 2: next two years. And I totally agree with that analysis.
• 1:42:58
  Speaker 6: I don't disagree with it. I've been a fairly staunch
• 1:43:04
Speaker 6: supporter of taking Iran out if we could do it,
• 1:43:07
Speaker 6: because I think the world is a better place without
• 1:43:09
  Speaker 6: an Iran.
• 1:43:10
Speaker 2: But at the cost of derailing this agenda in America
• 1:43:14
Speaker 2: that needed to go on for another two years, it
• 1:43:17
Speaker 2: is not worth that. I'm telling you right now.
• 1:43:20
Speaker 6: I think what he didn't understand was, and I think
• 1:43:24
Speaker 6: what's really sad, if you remember right, we beat the
• 1:43:27
Speaker 6: snot out of them for the first two months. And
• 1:43:30
Speaker 6: then all of a sudden we just stopped. And I
• 1:43:33
Speaker 6: think the reason we just stopped was they had to
• 1:43:37
Speaker 6: use a lot more munitions than what they thought they
• 1:43:40
Speaker 6: were going to have to use. And it was starting
• 1:43:43
Speaker 6: to put our strategic stockpile, deterrent stockpile, in jeopardy. I
• 1:43:47
Speaker 6: don't think they stopped because they wanted to. I think
• 1:43:50
Speaker 6: they would have loved to have kept going, but they're
• 1:43:53
Speaker 6: running out of bullets, so to speak.
• 1:43:55
Speaker 2: Well, with all the stuff that you sold to Ukraine,
• 1:43:58
Speaker 2: with all the stuff that you used there, you just
• 1:44:01
Speaker 2: depleted it. And as I understand it from just reading
• 1:44:03
Speaker 2: about it, it isn't something that you can restock quickly.
• 1:44:07
Speaker 2: It just isn't the case.
• 1:44:08
  Speaker 6: And that's the problem. They're sending over a $ 40, 000 drone,
• 1:44:12
Speaker 6: and we're using a $ 3 million Patriot interceptor to take
• 1:44:15
Speaker 6: it down. And you can't do that. And if anything's
• 1:44:19
  Speaker 6: come out, and I read a lot. I mean, I
• 1:44:22
Speaker 6: spend a lot of time, a lot of my day
• 1:44:24
Speaker 6: is spent reading because that's what I just enjoy doing.
• 1:44:26
Speaker 6: I like learning about things and information. But if you
• 1:44:30
Speaker 6: read anything the last four years about this Ukraine war,
• 1:44:32
Speaker 6: it has totally, totally changed the future method and means
• 1:44:37
Speaker 6: and munitions that you're going to use to fight a
• 1:44:41
Speaker 6: war in the future.
• 1:44:41
Speaker 2: I agree with that, too.
• 1:44:44
  Speaker 6: I think for us to continue to build $ 10, $ 12,
• 1:44:47
Speaker 6: $ 15 billion aircraft carriers, how long do you think one
• 1:44:51
Speaker 6: of those is going to last in the middle of
• 1:44:52
Speaker 6: the Pacific Ocean when China targets it? It's going to
• 1:44:56
Speaker 6: be gone in 20 minutes. It's just going to take
• 1:44:58
Speaker 6: as long as a flurry of missiles can leave mainland China,
• 1:45:01
Speaker 6: go ballistic, and land in that part of the Pacific
• 1:45:04
Speaker 6: with that thing sitting. It's gone. Because they may not
• 1:45:07
Speaker 6: hit it. They're going to probably shoot 150 missiles at it.
• 1:45:11
Speaker 6: 149 are going to miss, and one's going to hit it.
• 1:45:14
Speaker 6: Because that's the future of war now, these drones. More
• 1:45:19
Speaker 6: people are being killed. More people in the Russian army
• 1:45:21
Speaker 6: are being killed by first-person drones than are being killed
• 1:45:23
Speaker 6: by bullets. Because you find them with a thermal imager,
• 1:45:28
Speaker 6: a guy with a drone homes in on them, the
• 1:45:30
Speaker 6: thing buzzes down, and if he can't shoot it away
• 1:45:32
Speaker 6: with a shotgun, it gets close enough to him, explodes,
• 1:45:35
Speaker 6: and the guy's dead. And that's the majority, from what
• 1:45:39
Speaker 6: I have read, of the casualties Russia... and even to
• 1:45:42
Speaker 6: a certain extent Ukraine is experiencing, are now drone-related. They're
• 1:45:46
Speaker 6: not dying from bullets. It's not a bullet coming out
• 1:45:48
Speaker 6: of a rifle. So in the Middle East, you look
• 1:45:52
Speaker 6: at what's going on with the drone warfare in the
• 1:45:54
Speaker 6: Middle East. It's become very easy now to build a
• 1:45:59
Speaker 6: very inexpensive ballistic missile that just goes up and comes
• 1:46:02
Speaker 6: down and goes bang, and you have to use million-dollar,
• 1:46:05
Speaker 6: multi-million-dollar interceptors to take them out. And they can produce
• 1:46:10
Speaker 6: hundreds or thousands of times more of these cheap ballistic
• 1:46:12
Speaker 6: missiles than we can Patriot interceptors. And I think that's
• 1:46:17
Speaker 6: what got us in trouble in the Middle East. I
• 1:46:19
Speaker 6: think Trump was coming off of a sugar high from
• 1:46:21
Speaker 6: the little escapade they had down in Venezuela that went
• 1:46:24
Speaker 6: off pretty much without a hitch. And he thought, hey,
• 1:46:27
Speaker 6: you know, roll the dice again, let's try Iran. I
• 1:46:29
Speaker 6: think Netanyahu probably did put a bug in his ear
• 1:46:32
Speaker 6: and talked him into it to a certain degree. which incidentally,
• 1:46:37
Speaker 6: it amazed me. Frank's been back two days, and it
• 1:46:39
Speaker 6: only took two days for him to start using the
• 1:46:41
  Speaker 6: anti-Semite phrase again. I don't think that's... He just can't
• 1:46:44
Speaker 6: help himself. All right.
• 1:46:46
  Speaker 2: I think he's just making... I'm sorry.
• 1:46:48
Speaker 6: I'm sorry. He called him Zionist. He loves the word Zionist,
• 1:46:52
Speaker 6: which is a Jewish slur. But anyway, if you remember,
• 1:46:58
Speaker 6: when I started this conversation, I said there's only one
• 1:47:00
Speaker 6: person you can blame when Amy Acton gets elected, and
• 1:47:03
Speaker 6: who is that? You know the answer to this. Mike DeWine,
• 1:47:08
Speaker 6: because before Mike DeWine appointed her to that position, if
• 1:47:11
Speaker 6: she was never appointed to that position, 99.9% of Ohioans
• 1:47:17
Speaker 6: go through life without ever hearing the name Amy Ackner
• 1:47:20
Speaker 6: or knowing who she was. And why would a Republican,
• 1:47:24
  Speaker 6: or while he's not really a Republican, he's a little,
• 1:47:26
Speaker 6: I can't stand him. If he was drowning, I'd probably
• 1:47:29
Speaker 6: throw rocks instead of a life preserver at him. The
• 1:47:32
Speaker 6: guy's been the worst governor, and a string of bad governors, incidentally.
• 1:47:36
Speaker 6: I mean, name me one good Ohio governor we have
• 1:47:39
Speaker 6: had in our lifetimes, because I can't think of any.
• 1:47:41
  Speaker 6: Can you?
• 1:47:44
  Speaker 2: Dick Celeste.
• 1:47:47
Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, I was in middle school, high school
• 1:47:50
Speaker 6: when he was around, so I don't remember him really well.
• 1:47:52
Speaker 6: But I think, and today, he probably wouldn't be a
• 1:47:55
Speaker 6: Democrat today, though. He'd probably be a moderate Republican.
• 1:47:58
Speaker 2: Probably, if you go way back, probably Jim Rhodes would
• 1:48:01
Speaker 2: have been the most influential governor.
• 1:48:05
Speaker 6: Well, not to make you feel bad, but I think
• 1:48:08
Speaker 6: I was probably about five or six years older than
• 1:48:10
Speaker 6: Jim Rhodes as governor, so I don't really remember.
• 1:48:12
Speaker 2: Well, Jim Rhodes had really said that he thought people
• 1:48:15
Speaker 2: should have access to colleges, you know, within a short drive.
• 1:48:19
  Speaker 3: I mean.
• 1:48:20
Speaker 2: It's because of him that you get a lot of
• 1:48:21
Speaker 2: your YSUs and Akron Universities and all these places. I mean, anyway.
• 1:48:28
Speaker 6: It's DeWine. I mean, if we get Amy Acton as governor,
• 1:48:32
Speaker 6: it is 100% the fault of Mike DeWine. The reason
• 1:48:35
Speaker 6: we have a gazillion Haitians down in Springfield... The reason
• 1:48:39
Speaker 6: we have all these– it's all Mike DeWine. Mike DeWine
• 1:48:42
Speaker 6: has never met a liberal cause that he doesn't champion.
• 1:48:47
  Speaker 6: He's a disaster as a Republican governor.
• 1:48:49
Speaker 2: But I go back to say this. If Trump loses
• 1:48:52
Speaker 2: the midterms as far as the Democrats winning one house
• 1:48:56
Speaker 2: or both, then he's to blame. I mean, he can't
• 1:49:00
Speaker 2: sit there and bitch about the rest of it. We
• 1:49:02
Speaker 2: didn't go out like he was on the ballot. He's
• 1:49:04
Speaker 2: to blame because he made this current situation what it is.
• 1:49:07
Speaker 2: And he refuses to take accountability for the decisions he made.
• 1:49:13
Speaker 2: And I'm sorry. The reality is there are two major
• 1:49:17
Speaker 2: decisions that he did that are going to come back
• 1:49:20
Speaker 2: to bite him if he loses the midterms. And he
• 1:49:22
Speaker 2: looks in the mirror. He's to blame. And for the
• 1:49:25
Speaker 2: next two years, you're not going to get crap done
• 1:49:27
Speaker 2: because of those decisions that you made. Was it worth it?
• 1:49:30
Speaker 2: You determine that. President Trump, but don't go blaming everybody else.
• 1:49:35
Speaker 2: Blame yourself. Because if you would have stayed the course
• 1:49:38
Speaker 2: and stayed the American agenda and got inflation in line
• 1:49:41
Speaker 2: and oil prices down, none of these problems would be
• 1:49:46
Speaker 2: facing you at all. But you strayed from it.
• 1:49:50
Speaker 6: The other big problem with Trump is he never takes
• 1:49:52
Speaker 6: accountability when he's wrong.
• 1:49:54
  Speaker 1: He's never wrong.
• 1:49:55
Speaker 6: Like right now, he's blaming Ukraine for the diesel shortage.
• 1:50:01
Speaker 6: The Ukrainians have nothing to do with the diesel shortage.
• 1:50:04
Speaker 6: It's 100% because of the Iran War.
• 1:50:07
Speaker 8: That's what caused this whole fuel.
• 1:50:10
Speaker 6: Shortage and increase and everything like that. Ukraine, in their defense,
• 1:50:15
Speaker 6: you're blaming the person who was unjustifiably attacked by a
• 1:50:19
Speaker 6: bigger country, who's now attacking that bigger country back and
• 1:50:23
Speaker 6: doing as much damage to them as they can, and
• 1:50:25
Speaker 6: you're going to blame them for defending themselves?
• 1:50:27
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 1:50:29
Speaker 6: When realistically, the reason fuel is up is because of
• 1:50:33
Speaker 6: your policies in the war that you started. That you
• 1:50:37
Speaker 6: couldn't finish because apparently we don't have the ability to
• 1:50:40
  Speaker 6: finish it anymore. I think Cory Booker's running. I can't
• 1:50:46
Speaker 6: remember the guy in New Jersey, but they were debating
• 1:50:48
Speaker 6: the other night. And they asked the guy, what would
• 1:50:51
Speaker 6: your advice be to President Trump about the war in Iran?
• 1:50:55
Speaker 6: And the guy gave a great answer. He said, finish it.
• 1:50:58
Speaker 6: He said, just finish it, get it over and done with,
• 1:51:00
Speaker 6: because we don't need a terrorist sponsor in the Middle
• 1:51:03
Speaker 6: East like Iran has been for the past 50-plus years
• 1:51:06
Speaker 6: that we all have seen since the Iran hostage crisis.
• 1:51:09
Speaker 6: He said, finish it, take them out, put them in
• 1:51:12
Speaker 6: the rearview window, and then let's move on and get.
• 1:51:15
Speaker 2: Back to it. But here's the problem with that. The
• 1:51:18
Speaker 2: people that say that don't say how they're going to
• 1:51:21
Speaker 2: do that or how difficult that could be. I hear
• 1:51:25
Speaker 2: this all the time, and I don't think that's an
• 1:51:28
Speaker 2: easy thing to do when I hear them just finish it.
• 1:51:32
Speaker 2: As I say, Iran just has to survive, and it's
• 1:51:34
Speaker 2: survived for hundreds and hundreds of years, and it's surviving
• 1:51:38
Speaker 2: right now. I mean, he might have them on the ropes.
• 1:51:40
Speaker 2: I mean, he might have them twisting the screws here.
• 1:51:45
Speaker 2: And it could be just a matter of time, or
• 1:51:47
Speaker 2: it could go on. He created a mess. Good luck.
• 1:51:52
  Speaker 2: Like I said, I don't know everything they know. I
• 1:51:54
Speaker 2: really don't. But I just agree with the basic premise.
• 1:51:59
Speaker 2: This has derailed his presidency and the American agenda, and
• 1:52:05
Speaker 2: basically he's going to be a lame duck for the
• 1:52:07
Speaker 2: next two years as a result of it.
• 1:52:10
Speaker 6: Well, you can blame the rest of the party for
• 1:52:12
Speaker 6: going along with him, though. I don't dislike the Big
• 1:52:16
Speaker 6: Beautiful Bill. There were things in it that were decent.
• 1:52:18
Speaker 6: All of us got a little bit of a benefit.
• 1:52:20
Speaker 6: But if you look at it from the Democrats' standpoint,
• 1:52:24
Speaker 6: the vast majority of the Big Beautiful Bill didn't benefit
• 1:52:28
Speaker 6: Joe Sixpack nearly as much as it benefited the country
• 1:52:32
Speaker 6: club set. They're the people that really made out on
• 1:52:36
Speaker 6: the Big Beautiful Bill and the carve-outs and handouts and
• 1:52:39
Speaker 6: reductions that it implemented. And that's the problem. I mean,
• 1:52:43
Speaker 6: none of these politicians ever do anything on either side,
• 1:52:47
Speaker 6: a pox on both their houses. Neither party does anything
• 1:52:51
Speaker 6: for the average American, to be honest with you. They're
• 1:52:55
Speaker 6: always going either the Democrats go for the super poor,
• 1:52:58
Speaker 6: and all they want to do is get more people
• 1:53:00
Speaker 6: hooked on and addicted to government welfare, and the Republicans
• 1:53:03
Speaker 6: will throw the middle class a bone while they continue
• 1:53:06
Speaker 6: to take care of the uber-rich. They're going to keep
• 1:53:09
Speaker 6: giving them tax cuts. in a country that's running a
• 1:53:12
Speaker 6: $ 40 trillion deficit who really can't afford tax cuts to
• 1:53:15
  Speaker 6: those people.
• 1:53:16
Speaker 2: I go back to, all that being aside, the low-information
• 1:53:20
Speaker 2: voter will go vote for the Democrats, and that is
• 1:53:23
Speaker 2: the dumbest vote you can make because it will just
• 1:53:26
Speaker 2: increase the cost of, they are not pro-energy, pro-fossil fuels.
• 1:53:31
Speaker 2: If you vote for the Democrats, you're cutting your throat,
• 1:53:33
Speaker 2: you're going to make it worse. when it comes to
• 1:53:36
Speaker 2: your energy policies because they hate fossil fuels. But if
• 1:53:39
Speaker 2: that's what people vote, that's how the system is. Low
• 1:53:42
Speaker 2: information voters. We hate these prices. We hate Trump. Okay.
• 1:53:47
Speaker 2: And so let's go back to no drilling on federal lands,
• 1:53:50
Speaker 2: no drilling offshore, regulating all of this stuff out of
• 1:53:55
Speaker 2: making it more difficult.
• 1:53:56
  Speaker 6: I want my $ 7, 500 electric vehicle rebate back too. I
• 1:54:00
Speaker 6: was going to go out and buy a Tesla until
• 1:54:01
  Speaker 6: they took the $ 7, 500 away.
• 1:54:03
Speaker 2: You can afford it.
• 1:54:05
Speaker 6: Well, yeah, but I mean, that's not the point. I mean,
• 1:54:07
Speaker 6: you know, people like me and you that are well off,
• 1:54:10
Speaker 6: we should still get a big subsidy, right? Because I
• 1:54:13
Speaker 6: guarantee you, the average American... I'll take.
• 1:54:16
Speaker 2: Any subsidy the government gives.
• 1:54:19
Speaker 9: If you looked at.
• 1:54:20
Speaker 6: The demographics of that, and that was a Democrat initiative,
• 1:54:22
Speaker 6: and I bet if you looked at the economic demographics
• 1:54:25
Speaker 6: of who benefited from that, it was overwhelmingly people, families
• 1:54:28
Speaker 6: making well over six figures.
• 1:54:30
Speaker 2: Thank you. I'll be back.
• 1:54:31
  Speaker 6: Take care.
• 1:54:33
Speaker 14: Since 19 and talk station 570 wkbn ron verb you're
• 1:54:37
  Speaker 14: on the air.
• 1:54:39
Speaker 20: Hi ron there was a couple things that i was
• 1:54:42
Speaker 20: gonna say you know um everybody uh you know keeps
• 1:54:48
Speaker 20: saying about you know we should we should get into
• 1:54:52
Speaker 20: china but then i'm old enough to remember i just
• 1:54:55
Speaker 20: turned 70 yesterday and can't anybody remember how China glutted
• 1:55:01
Speaker 20: the market with electronics? The prices, you know, went down.
• 1:55:06
Speaker 20: Everybody bought Chinese stuff and everybody, nobody else was able to,
• 1:55:15
Speaker 20: you know, keep up with making stuff at a cheap rate.
• 1:55:18
Speaker 20: So they glutted the market, you know. The second thing
• 1:55:23
Speaker 20: I was going to say is everybody's, you know, saying
• 1:55:28
Speaker 20: we should just give up on Iran and, you know,
• 1:55:31
Speaker 20: that Trump was wrong and everything. Again, know the history.
• 1:55:37
Speaker 20: And since the beginning of time, when there's recorded, you know,
• 1:55:42
Speaker 20: on the Iran stuff, they behead people. They kill them.
• 1:55:47
Speaker 20: You know, they rape the women. If you don't convert
• 1:55:52
Speaker 20: to a Muslim, then they.
• 1:55:55
  Speaker 4: They do yonder.
• 1:55:57
Speaker 20: So this is what we're dealing with there, you know.
• 1:56:01
Speaker 20: But I don't know. Everybody is so upset with Trump, but,
• 1:56:05
Speaker 20: you know, they're not thinking about the other side of
• 1:56:07
Speaker 20: the coin. When COVID hit here, we didn't have antibiotics
• 1:56:12
Speaker 20: or anything. Our antibiotics haven't been made in this country
• 1:56:16
Speaker 20: for a long time. Trump's trying to bring all that back.
• 1:56:19
Speaker 20: He's trying to make us self-sufficient.
• 1:56:23
  Speaker 5: So.
• 1:56:24
Speaker 2: I agree with that.
• 1:56:26
Speaker 20: Yeah, and, you know, I don't think that's wrong. Everybody
• 1:56:31
Speaker 20: is thinking he's such a terrible person, but he's trying to,
• 1:56:41
Speaker 20: you know, do the best thing for this country, and
• 1:56:44
Speaker 20: it's not the easy thing.
• 1:56:46
  Speaker 2: I agree.
• 1:56:46
  Speaker 9: You know?
• 1:56:47
  Speaker 2: I agree.
• 1:56:48
  Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:56:50
Speaker 20: So, you know, as much as everybody hates him, hates him,
• 1:56:53
Speaker 20: hates him, and that's all they have is they hate him.
• 1:56:56
Speaker 20: They're not looking at what of the good he's trying
• 1:56:58
Speaker 20: to do. You know, he's thinking way into the future
• 1:57:02
Speaker 20: for our kids and for my grandkids and everything. And
• 1:57:05
Speaker 20: I thank him for that.
• 1:57:08
Speaker 2: I also agree with that comment. Thank you for your call.
• 1:57:10
Speaker 2: I agree with everything she says. You're on air.
• 1:57:13
  Speaker 16: Hi, Ron.
• 1:57:14
Speaker 10: Have you heard who DeWine endorsed for governor and senator?
• 1:57:19
Speaker 35: Have you heard that at all?
• 1:57:20
  Speaker 27: I haven't heard anything.
• 1:57:22
Speaker 2: He claims, obviously, Ramaswamy and Houston. Houston was his lieutenant governor. So,
• 1:57:30
Speaker 2: I mean, he claims he's a Republican. So, obviously, last
• 1:57:34
Speaker 2: time I checked, he publicly claims Ramaswamy and Houston. Will
• 1:57:40
Speaker 2: he vote that way? Who knows? It wouldn't surprise me
• 1:57:44
Speaker 2: if he voted for Amy Acton.
• 1:57:47
Speaker 27: Anyway, I was delivering in Springfield last week, and I
• 1:57:50
Speaker 27: asked the guy that was taking that shipment in, I said,
• 1:57:54
  Speaker 27: what happened.
• 1:57:54
  Speaker 10: To all that?
• 1:57:55
Speaker 27: Are the Haitians still in town? He said, no, 90%
• 1:57:57
Speaker 27: of them left. And I said, well, where would they go?
• 1:58:01
Speaker 27: He said, they went to Columbus, where they can hide.
• 1:58:04
Speaker 8: And I said, ah, I understand.
• 1:58:05
Speaker 10: That was from a citizen.
• 1:58:09
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 1:58:10
  Speaker 2: Well, go figure.
• 1:58:14
Speaker 36: Yeah, and as far as the Haitians that were employed
• 1:58:16
Speaker 36: at the place I delivered at, he said, there's only
• 1:58:18
Speaker 36: one or two left, but they are very good employees.
• 1:58:22
Speaker 36: I said, well, you know, every blind squirrel finds an
• 1:58:26
  Speaker 36: acorn once.
• 1:58:26
Speaker 6: In a while. Yeah.
• 1:58:30
  Speaker 2: Man, you're on a roll.
• 1:58:32
  Speaker 7: Yes.
• 1:58:33
Speaker 10: And as far as the two cents worth that Bubba
• 1:58:39
Speaker 10: Ganoush puts in, he's probably the reason they quit making pennies.
• 1:58:47
Speaker 2: All right. See you later.
• 1:58:49
  Speaker 6: All right.
• 1:58:50
Speaker 2: You're on the air.
• 1:58:53
  Speaker 6: Hello?
• 1:58:55
  Speaker 29: My turn.
• 1:58:57
  Speaker 6: Yes.
• 1:58:58
Speaker 29: I'll be doggone. Ron, this is the first time I've
• 1:59:02
Speaker 29: been listening to you for a long time because I'm
• 1:59:04
Speaker 29: not working right now. But there's some things that these gentlemen,
• 1:59:10
Speaker 29: and I call them gentlemen, are saying this afternoon that
• 1:59:15
Speaker 29: they either are reading the wrong newspapers or listening to
• 1:59:20
Speaker 29: the wrong television stations or the wrong radios because they're
• 1:59:25
Speaker 29: saying stuff that I... don't believe. And right now, it's
• 1:59:33
  Speaker 29: getting to me.
• 1:59:36
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 1:59:37
Speaker 29: The reason that I'm calling is I've worked at the
• 1:59:39
Speaker 29: unemployment office for 27 years.
• 1:59:41
  Speaker 6: All right.
• 1:59:42
Speaker 2: Stand by for just a minute. Let me do my headlines.
• 1:59:44
Speaker 2: I'll let you finish your thoughts in a minute. And
• 1:59:46
Speaker 2: then G2 will be coming up. As we continue on.
• 1:59:49
Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKVN. Evacuation in a.
• 1:59:56
Speaker 31: Shelter in place is still in effect after a chemical
• 1:59:58
  Speaker 31: leak in Toledo.
• 2:00:00
Speaker 32: Officials Wednesday afternoon said the venting of the chemical glycidal
• 2:00:02
Speaker 32: methacrylate at MC Tank Transport Inc. would continue for several
• 2:00:05
Speaker 32: more hours. This after the leak was reported from a
• 2:00:08
Speaker 32: tank late Tuesday night as it is still not safe
• 2:00:10
Speaker 32: for first responders to get closer to it. The industrial
• 2:00:12
Speaker 32: chemical used to improve the performance of certain products. plastics
• 2:00:15
Speaker 32: paints and coatings has a sweet fruity odor and can
• 2:00:18
Speaker 32: cause breathing issues watery eyes and long-term exposure can lead
• 2:00:21
Speaker 32: to it being a carcinogen those living within a one
• 2:00:24
Speaker 32: mile radius order to evacuate those within three miles told
• 2:00:26
Speaker 32: to stay inside close all windows and turn off ventilation
• 2:00:29
Speaker 32: systems that allow outside air in I'm Sean Gallagher.
• 2:00:32
Speaker 31: And a man and a woman and a toddler have
• 2:00:34
Speaker 31: been found dead in a Tuscarawas County home where authorities
• 2:00:36
Speaker 31: say their bodies were discovered this morning at a home
• 2:00:39
Speaker 31: after someone at the residence called 911 and then hung up.
• 2:00:41
Speaker 31: Their names had not been released and a gun was
• 2:00:43
Speaker 31: found as officers arrived. I'm Brady Hopkins.
• 2:00:46
Speaker 12: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
• 2:00:50
  Speaker 12: and sports radio.
• 2:00:51
  Speaker 1: Podcasts too.
• 2:00:53
  Speaker 2: Download the app.
• 2:00:54
Speaker 1: Free never sounded so good. From the A to Z.
• 2:00:57
  Speaker 1: Presented by Underdog.
• 2:00:59
Speaker 37: The family of legendary college basketball coach Bob Huggins have
• 2:01:02
Speaker 37: announced he's living with a progressive cognitive condition that has
• 2:01:06
Speaker 37: begun to affect his memory and aspects of his daily life.
• 2:01:09
Speaker 37: Brian Cashman has received a new contract to continue as
• 2:01:12
Speaker 37: general manager of the Yankees. The Bronx Bombers have won
• 2:01:15
Speaker 37: four World Series titles, had 15 division crowns in Cashman's
• 2:01:19
Speaker 37: 29 years in the job, but no world championships since 2009.
• 2:01:23
  Speaker 8: I'm Frank.
• 2:01:24
  Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verber.
• 2:01:27
Speaker 14: On News Radio 570, WKBN.
• 2:01:31
Speaker 2: Back to it. News Radio 570, WKBN. All right, so
• 2:01:34
  Speaker 2: what's your beef?
• 2:01:36
Speaker 29: Oh, I got a lot of beef, but you don't
• 2:01:38
Speaker 29: want to hear them all. I give that lady that
• 2:01:40
Speaker 29: was ahead of me credit. She listens to what's going
• 2:01:46
Speaker 29: on around her. The gentlemen, I say gentlemen, they don't
• 2:01:50
Speaker 29: listen to what's going around. They just listen to what
• 2:01:53
  Speaker 29: they want to.
• 2:01:54
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 2:01:56
Speaker 29: Working at the unemployment office, I can remember when Clinton
• 2:02:00
Speaker 29: was in presidency, he left an awful lot of our
• 2:02:05
Speaker 29: companies here in Ohio and elsewhere go overseas to build
• 2:02:13
Speaker 29: their products because it didn't cost them as much to
• 2:02:20
Speaker 29: hire someone to work on an hourly wage over there.
• 2:02:25
Speaker 29: as it did if they stayed here in America. The workers,
• 2:02:32
Speaker 29: I should say, in America, they required so much money
• 2:02:38
Speaker 29: an hour that the companies were finding it easier to
• 2:02:43
Speaker 29: go overseas and get maybe $ 1 or $ 2 an hour jobs,
• 2:02:49
Speaker 29: where over here they were paying $ 10, $ 12, $ 15 an hour. Right, right.
• 2:02:54
Speaker 29: And the unemployment rate at that point in time raised.
• 2:03:00
Speaker 29: And if they go back and check the records, they
• 2:03:03
  Speaker 29: would notice it.
• 2:03:04
  Speaker 9: All right.
• 2:03:05
Speaker 29: And nobody seems to think that.
• 2:03:07
  Speaker 2: All right.
• 2:03:08
Speaker 7: But it's the truth.
• 2:03:09
Speaker 29: Now, this president, through his business association and background, he's
• 2:03:18
Speaker 29: bringing these companies back into America. And he's doing it
• 2:03:26
Speaker 29: because the tariffs are involved. The tariffs that these countries
• 2:03:35
Speaker 29: on the other side of the ocean have put on
• 2:03:41
Speaker 29: us is slowing our production down, okay? So he has
• 2:03:48
Speaker 29: raised the tariffs up to be evened. Especially with pharmaceutical.
• 2:03:58
Speaker 29: And this way here, the tariffs are more even across
• 2:04:04
Speaker 29: the waters from here to the other side.
• 2:04:08
  Speaker 2: All right. Gotcha.
• 2:04:10
Speaker 29: And a lot of the people, they don't listen to
• 2:04:14
Speaker 29: him when he's talking.
• 2:04:15
Speaker 2: All right. Well, you've explained it.
• 2:04:18
  Speaker 29: Well, I don't know.
• 2:04:20
  Speaker 2: Oh, you did.
• 2:04:20
Speaker 29: But anyway, I want something else, too.
• 2:04:23
Speaker 2: What is it, quickly?
• 2:04:24
Speaker 29: The other day on television, they showed a company making
• 2:04:30
Speaker 29: cars in Japan or China. And it just showed the
• 2:04:35
Speaker 29: framework of it. And they were going down the thing.
• 2:04:40
Speaker 29: They found six different little things on there. that would repeat,
• 2:04:49
Speaker 29: what would you call it, little things that would, if
• 2:04:53
Speaker 29: you and I were talking in a car, it would
• 2:04:56
Speaker 29: broadcast it wherever it was going.
• 2:04:58
Speaker 2: I don't know about that, but okay, I'll leave it
• 2:05:01
Speaker 2: go there. I've got to go to G2. Thank you
• 2:05:03
  Speaker 2: for your call.
• 2:05:04
  Speaker 8: All right.
• 2:05:04
Speaker 2: Couldn't take that much longer. All right, G2, hello.
• 2:05:08
  Speaker 5: Good evening, Ron.
• 2:05:08
  Speaker 35: How are you?
• 2:05:09
Speaker 2: I'm doing well. I go back to say this and
• 2:05:12
Speaker 2: your reaction to it. Listen, and I'll just be blunt.
• 2:05:16
Speaker 2: If we lose the midterms, if there's this blue wave
• 2:05:19
Speaker 2: and Trump loses either one or two of the houses,
• 2:05:23
Speaker 2: I'll say it again. He better look in the mirror himself.
• 2:05:25
Speaker 2: I mean, don't blame Trump. you know, that a voter
• 2:05:28
Speaker 2: didn't turn out or whatever. He's got to look in
• 2:05:30
Speaker 2: the mirror himself and say, okay, did I make the
• 2:05:33
Speaker 2: right decision at the right time to derail the American?
• 2:05:36
Speaker 2: You've said it yourself, what he did with Epstein, that
• 2:05:41
Speaker 2: hurt him and what he's done with the situation in Iran.
• 2:05:44
Speaker 2: And what did you say when those two things happened?
• 2:05:47
Speaker 2: This could derail the American agenda and cause more damage
• 2:05:50
Speaker 2: to the country than these other situations. And I'm afraid
• 2:05:55
Speaker 2: that's where we're going to be.
• 2:05:58
Speaker 4: Well, I think all of that is true, but that's
• 2:06:00
Speaker 4: not the whole of it, but that is certainly true.
• 2:06:02
Speaker 4: I mean, if you were to do sort of the
• 2:06:04
Speaker 4: old ledger, you know, where you do.
• 2:06:07
Speaker 5: The list of positives and negatives on a topic.
• 2:06:10
  Speaker 8: Was it Franklin?
• 2:06:11
Speaker 6: Did that? Somebody used to do that.
• 2:06:12
  Speaker 2: Yeah, the T.
• 2:06:14
Speaker 4: And you go through that and you think about all
• 2:06:18
Speaker 4: the different factors. The reality is those were huge and
• 2:06:22
Speaker 4: they got all the media attention. Democrats who never... wanted
• 2:06:26
Speaker 4: the Epstein files released were running around saying, what about
• 2:06:29
  Speaker 4: the Epstein files?
• 2:06:30
Speaker 2: And they never released them either.
• 2:06:32
Speaker 4: They never released them, and they didn't lose any support
• 2:06:34
Speaker 4: for not releasing them because people knew they wouldn't release
• 2:06:38
Speaker 4: them because people knew they were in them. So this
• 2:06:42
Speaker 4: started the whole thing about is Trump in the files
• 2:06:45
Speaker 4: or not in the files, was he on the island?
• 2:06:47
Speaker 4: All that stuff started up again and sucked up a
• 2:06:49
Speaker 4: huge amount of oxygen. Well, while that was happening, Trump
• 2:06:53
Speaker 4: was doing some very good things. But the good things
• 2:06:56
Speaker 4: that he's done have been obviously offset by the failure
• 2:07:01
Speaker 4: to go after Epstein, the uniparty reaction to Doge, causing
• 2:07:07
Speaker 4: Doge to be basically obliterated. They passed that $ 9.
• 2:07:11
  Speaker 5: 4 billion bill.
• 2:07:13
Speaker 4: That was obviously just the smallest piece of the tip
• 2:07:15
Speaker 4: of the Doge iceberg. We expected and were demanding... Hundreds
• 2:07:22
Speaker 4: and hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud, waste, abuse,
• 2:07:25
  Speaker 4: and corruption eliminated.
• 2:07:27
Speaker 5: The evidence was there.
• 2:07:28
Speaker 4: Now, if you're paying attention to this Social Security thing
• 2:07:31
Speaker 4: that's going on right now, I think the last number
• 2:07:34
Speaker 4: I saw was 17 million records are being addressed where
• 2:07:36
Speaker 4: they're putting in death dates, dates of death, and they're
• 2:07:42
Speaker 4: updating all these records because we've got Social Security rolls.
• 2:07:46
Speaker 4: These rolls are so completely out of out of order.
• 2:07:50
Speaker 4: They're in such disrepair that people are getting paid that
• 2:07:53
Speaker 4: have been dead for decades. That began to be publicly
• 2:07:56
Speaker 4: known through Doge. And when they shut down Doge, which was, again,
• 2:08:00
Speaker 4: that was both the Republicans in Congress and the Democrats
• 2:08:03
Speaker 4: who stood up and said, if you continue to go
• 2:08:06
Speaker 4: after this corruption, we won't pass your.
• 2:08:08
  Speaker 8: Big, ugly bill.
• 2:08:09
Speaker 4: And so you got that. And then you've got the,
• 2:08:13
Speaker 4: you know, some of the other things that haven't gone
• 2:08:16
Speaker 4: the way that was hoped for. People really desperately wanted
• 2:08:20
Speaker 4: The Save America Act, that's the one that would put
• 2:08:23
Speaker 4: voter ID as a national thing on any federal election,
• 2:08:26
Speaker 4: as a nationwide requirement on federal elections. Obviously, the Democrats
• 2:08:31
Speaker 4: went berserk over that one, and Republicans quietly resisted because
• 2:08:36
Speaker 4: they all support election fraud. The ones that resisted that
• 2:08:39
Speaker 4: did that for one, only one reason. They support election fraud.
• 2:08:43
Speaker 4: So you've got, you know, a series of losses, and
• 2:08:45
Speaker 4: that's all we're talking about. And then, of course, there
• 2:08:47
Speaker 4: was the big one.
• 2:08:49
Speaker 6: The war in Iran.
• 2:08:50
Speaker 4: He ran specifically on no new wars and then started
• 2:08:54
Speaker 4: a war. And whatever their attempt to convince Americans this
• 2:08:59
Speaker 4: was in our interest, that attempt failed. Obviously, no one
• 2:09:03
Speaker 4: buys it now. I mean, I guess some people buy it,
• 2:09:05
Speaker 4: but it's only because they're really dedicated to Israel or
• 2:09:09
Speaker 4: they are really dedicated to Trump. There's some reason why
• 2:09:12
Speaker 4: they buy. It certainly isn't evidence. That's clear. You know,
• 2:09:16
Speaker 4: they're listening to the media or something. So there's a
• 2:09:20
Speaker 4: combination of factors here. But remember, as you and I
• 2:09:23
Speaker 4: have talked about, there have been some absolutely tremendous things
• 2:09:27
Speaker 4: that have happened that only happened because Donald Trump got elected.
• 2:09:32
Speaker 4: But again, those are being.
• 2:09:36
Speaker 8: Ignored, you know, pushed back.
• 2:09:38
Speaker 4: Now, there's a woman named Carol Markowitz who on October
• 2:09:45
Speaker 4: 16th published this in the New York Post. I was
• 2:09:48
Speaker 4: a Trump skeptic, but his second-term wins made me a believer. Now,
• 2:09:52
Speaker 4: how's that for bucking the trend, right? Yes, I'm embarrassed
• 2:09:56
Speaker 4: to admit that I was one of those, what's the difference,
• 2:10:00
Speaker 4: you know, what's the difference? But then she starts going
• 2:10:02
Speaker 4: into the fact that inflation was over 9%. At his lowest,
• 2:10:06
Speaker 4: he got it down to 0.68, but that was only
• 2:10:08
Speaker 4: a short time. Remember, I used true inflation, not the
• 2:10:11
Speaker 4: fake numbers from the Labor Department. You know, he then,
• 2:10:16
Speaker 4: even when people were screaming about inflation, he'd gotten it
• 2:10:18
Speaker 4: down from his policies with no help from Congress. He
• 2:10:22
Speaker 4: got it down to, you know, roughly 2, 2.5, 2.24%
• 2:10:26
Speaker 4: for a while. It was a tremendous relief.
• 2:10:29
  Speaker 6: Here's the thing.
• 2:10:30
Speaker 4: Eggs cost less, so they stopped talking about eggs. The
• 2:10:34
Speaker 4: cost of eggs has gone down. So they stopped talking
• 2:10:37
Speaker 4: about eggs and started talking about gasoline. Now, did anybody say, well,
• 2:10:41
Speaker 4: the cost of gasoline is still below where it was
• 2:10:43
Speaker 4: before the Democrats did all the drawdowns from this?
• 2:10:47
  Speaker 9: Nope.
• 2:10:47
Speaker 4: Nobody bothered getting into any real discussion of that. It
• 2:10:52
Speaker 4: was just look at the price of gas. You got
• 2:10:54
Speaker 4: Sherrod Brown running on inflation. The man who spent 30
• 2:10:58
Speaker 4: years causing inflation is now running as if he's somehow
• 2:11:02
Speaker 4: going to stop inflation. So there have been all these
• 2:11:05
Speaker 4: really good things that have happened under Trump that never
• 2:11:08
Speaker 4: would have happened, but they're being overshadowed.
• 2:11:12
Speaker 8: You know, think about this.
• 2:11:13
Speaker 4: 300,000 swamp creatures have been sent home. 300,000 frogs are
• 2:11:20
Speaker 4: out of the bog because Trump reduced the federal workforce. Now, again,
• 2:11:24
Speaker 4: he cut and cut, and then finally the Union Party
• 2:11:27
Speaker 4: started fighting back and screaming. You know, all the bureaucrats
• 2:11:30
  Speaker 4: were screaming.
• 2:11:32
  Speaker 5: Think about this.
• 2:11:33
Speaker 4: All the election fraud in Mozambique seems to have ended
• 2:11:37
Speaker 4: when USAID went away. Think about the sweep of pro-Brazil,
• 2:11:46
Speaker 4: pro-pick your nation, the removal of the socialists across South
• 2:11:52
Speaker 4: America and Central America that is underway as we speak.
• 2:11:55
Speaker 4: All of that happened somehow after USAID lost its money.
• 2:12:00
  Speaker 4: It's a billion dollars a week. that it's sped out
• 2:12:03
Speaker 4: in the world that no one had any idea where
• 2:12:07
Speaker 4: it was going, what impact it was having. Now, I've
• 2:12:09
Speaker 4: looked into one employee of USAID, and it turns out
• 2:12:13
Speaker 4: where she was working, and she's really angry that she's
• 2:12:15
Speaker 4: not there anymore and that Trump took.
• 2:12:17
  Speaker 5: Away her career.
• 2:12:19
Speaker 4: Listen, sweetheart, it ain't your career to go sit in
• 2:12:21
Speaker 4: Mozambique and cheat on elections. But that's where there was
• 2:12:24
Speaker 4: tremendous election fraud and a huge amount of money from
• 2:12:27
Speaker 4: USAID getting distributed and full-time staff. He has done tremendous things.
• 2:12:33
Speaker 4: You know, he did the executive order that began cutting
• 2:12:37
Speaker 4: back on men going into women's sports, boys going into girls' sports. Now,
• 2:12:42
Speaker 4: I recognize that is a small number of instances, but
• 2:12:45
Speaker 4: it is a major cultural push. Just today, I saw
• 2:12:50
Speaker 4: a flyer that was handed out to government employees to
• 2:12:53
Speaker 4: teach them about neurodiverse trans people. I mean, that entire
• 2:12:59
Speaker 4: move to destroy our culture and shift it to where
• 2:13:02
Speaker 4: all the kids are trained in sexuality, and that's the
• 2:13:05
Speaker 4: topic that predominates the schools, he pushed back on that.
• 2:13:10
Speaker 4: If he hadn't been elected, there would be no pullback
• 2:13:13
Speaker 4: by Vanderbilt or the others on going after our kids.
• 2:13:17
Speaker 4: So there are just tremendous wins here. And it goes
• 2:13:21
Speaker 4: on and on. I mean, so I found it refreshing
• 2:13:23
Speaker 4: to find this article in the New York Post where
• 2:13:26
Speaker 4: this woman who was not a Trump fan is looking
• 2:13:28
Speaker 4: around and saying, wow, there's some good things. You know,
• 2:13:31
Speaker 4: this thing in Venezuela, which was a complete surprise to America.
• 2:13:35
Speaker 4: Didn't really understand it. We, of course, have been following
• 2:13:37
Speaker 4: Venezuela for many years, watched them lock up journalists, watched
• 2:13:41
Speaker 4: how the U.S. journalists never really said anything about that,
• 2:13:44
Speaker 4: how leftists in the U.S. were so supportive of Chavez
• 2:13:49
Speaker 4: and then Maduro. Well, it's not that he went in
• 2:13:54
Speaker 4: and created a war and changed the country that way,
• 2:13:58
Speaker 4: but what he did absolutely affected China, the drug cartels
• 2:14:02
Speaker 4: and their distribution network. and our long-term energy security. It
• 2:14:06
Speaker 4: was a master stroke. And remember, the day he did it,
• 2:14:09
Speaker 4: the day he took out Maduro in Venezuela, the Chinese
• 2:14:13
Speaker 4: were there promising to bring in their navy to escort
• 2:14:16
Speaker 4: tankers to Beijing. So he simultaneously hit the cartels, the
• 2:14:22
Speaker 4: Chinese Communist Party, and that scourge of Marxism that had
• 2:14:26
Speaker 4: been seizing control of South America for the.
• 2:14:29
  Speaker 8: Last, what, I don't know, 20, 30 years?
• 2:14:32
Speaker 4: Tremendous wins that Trump has had by being in office.
• 2:14:36
Speaker 4: The problem is we're just not talking about him.
• 2:14:37
Speaker 5: We're only talking about the losses.
• 2:14:39
Speaker 4: And one other point that can't be missed, in January 2025,
• 2:14:42
Speaker 4: February and March, we started saying, oh, no, the Republicans
• 2:14:49
Speaker 4: are going to fight the American agenda. The Republicans in
• 2:14:52
Speaker 4: Congress did not stand with Trump, making him more vulnerable
• 2:14:57
Speaker 4: to donors, more vulnerable to the media. the Republicans in
• 2:15:01
Speaker 4: Congress could have gotten right around this American agenda. And
• 2:15:05
Speaker 4: maybe in that first hundred days of the Trump administration,
• 2:15:09
Speaker 4: maybe they worked 99 instead of 58. And they could
• 2:15:12
Speaker 4: have been exactly as we said then, taking the executive orders,
• 2:15:15
Speaker 4: which everybody was applauding. If you remember, he'd write an
• 2:15:18
Speaker 4: executive order, the whole country would celebrate.
• 2:15:21
Speaker 5: They could have been.
• 2:15:21
Speaker 4: Taking those, writing legislation across the top and passing through
• 2:15:25
Speaker 4: the House and Senate and getting them to his desk.
• 2:15:28
Speaker 4: If the fact that the Democrat minority in the Senate
• 2:15:31
Speaker 4: is what is the controlling factor in the United States,
• 2:15:34
Speaker 4: they could have at least exposed the Democrat minority for
• 2:15:37
Speaker 4: voting in the Senate, those senators, for voting against the
• 2:15:41
Speaker 4: interests of their constituents. Maybe he could have put pressure
• 2:15:43
Speaker 4: on them. But with Thune blocking him, with Johnson passing
• 2:15:47
Speaker 4: bills he knows are never going to make it through
• 2:15:49
Speaker 4: the Senate or get out of committee, the joint, you know,
• 2:15:52
Speaker 4: they're never going to make it through the reconciliation that
• 2:15:54
Speaker 4: goes on between the House and the Senate. Those two
• 2:15:58
Speaker 4: guys sat there and smiled at us and said, no,
• 2:16:01
Speaker 4: we don't care how many of you voted for it.
• 2:16:03
Speaker 5: We don't care what you said. We're not going to
• 2:16:06
Speaker 5: let you have your agenda.
• 2:16:08
Speaker 4: Now, of course, that doesn't let the Democrats off the
• 2:16:10
Speaker 4: hook because Chuck Schumer and Adam Schiff are sitting next
• 2:16:12
Speaker 4: to him laughing. The rest of these clowns in the
• 2:16:15
Speaker 4: House and Senate were sitting there saying, this is great.
• 2:16:18
Speaker 4: Boone takes the heat. Johnson takes the heat. And we
• 2:16:21
Speaker 4: sit here in good shape. And on spending, remember, they
• 2:16:25
Speaker 4: demanded spending. $ 5 trillion of extra debt to pass the
• 2:16:29
Speaker 4: big expensive bill. And then the Democrats shut down the
• 2:16:32
Speaker 4: government because they wanted another $ 1. 5 trillion.
• 2:16:37
Speaker 5: This federal monster can't stop spending.
• 2:16:40
Speaker 4: Now, you know, I recognize Trump's been in government. He
• 2:16:43
Speaker 4: was in for three years plus a year of COVID.
• 2:16:45
Speaker 4: Now he's been in for another 18 months with four
• 2:16:47
Speaker 4: years in between. So we heap upon Trump the blame
• 2:16:52
Speaker 4: for everything that happened while or before.
• 2:16:54
  Speaker 5: He's in office.
• 2:16:56
Speaker 4: Listen, Trump could not have taken action to stop the
• 2:17:00
  Speaker 4: $ 40 trillion of debt.
• 2:17:02
Speaker 5: That machine was moving.
• 2:17:03
Speaker 4: Now, to his discredit, he kind of liked the spending
• 2:17:07
Speaker 4: because he knew it was helping drive economic activity. But
• 2:17:12
Speaker 4: you're not living in a capitalist system when you've got
• 2:17:14
Speaker 4: the federal government using regulations and spending to decide everything.
• 2:17:19
Speaker 4: So what'd he do? He took out a trillion and
• 2:17:22
Speaker 4: a half dollars of economic burden from regulations and all
• 2:17:26
Speaker 4: of those regulations would still be in place. And we'd
• 2:17:29
Speaker 4: have another trillion dollars of burden if the Democrats had won.
• 2:17:33
  Speaker 6: So you're right.
• 2:17:34
Speaker 4: You've got to look at Trump if this thing flips
• 2:17:37
Speaker 4: and say, well, you know, he started the war.
• 2:17:40
  Speaker 6: That's all him.
• 2:17:41
Speaker 5: He had unilateral power to stop that. He did that.
• 2:17:46
Speaker 4: And the rest of this stuff, it's him, but it's
• 2:17:49
Speaker 4: really not in him. I mean, I am so angry
• 2:17:53
Speaker 4: at John Thune that I think he should be removed
• 2:17:55
Speaker 4: from the Senate, not from his position as leader. He
• 2:17:58
Speaker 4: should be ejected from the body for what he's done
• 2:18:02
Speaker 4: or failed to do, refused to do.
• 2:18:04
Speaker 5: It is a system.
• 2:18:05
Speaker 4: We didn't elect an emperor. He set fantastic direction. Those
• 2:18:09
Speaker 4: executive orders were excellent. And it was one after another
• 2:18:13
Speaker 4: after another in those first hundred days, critical issues being addressed.
• 2:18:16
Speaker 4: He pushed for the Save America Act. Unfortunately, the Democrats
• 2:18:21
Speaker 4: steadfastly oppose whatever it is he wants to do, no
• 2:18:24
Speaker 4: matter how good it is for the country. And the
• 2:18:26
Speaker 4: Republicans quietly resist and then point to the Democrats, the parliamentarian,
• 2:18:31
Speaker 4: and the filibuster as the great blockade that they can't
• 2:18:34
Speaker 4: seem to find their way around. So you're right in
• 2:18:37
Speaker 4: the war, for sure. But gas is still cheaper than
• 2:18:41
Speaker 4: it was in June of 22, and it took 244
• 2:18:44
Speaker 4: million barrels of drawdowns on the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for
• 2:18:47
Speaker 4: the Democrats to get it down, heading into 22 and 4. So,
• 2:18:52
Speaker 4: you know, it's just the problem. The media focus is
• 2:18:56
Speaker 4: so entirely on Trump sucks. And this thing with these
• 2:19:00
Speaker 4: people who hate him, I'm telling you, you had a
• 2:19:02
Speaker 4: conversation earlier today that I heard With a caller who
• 2:19:06
Speaker 4: calls frequently who just hates Trump. He's obviously a Democrat,
• 2:19:10
Speaker 4: likes to position himself as an independent, hates Trump. And
• 2:19:13
Speaker 4: it didn't matter what point you made. There was nothing
• 2:19:16
Speaker 4: you could acknowledge that was good.
• 2:19:18
  Speaker 13: Right.
• 2:19:19
  Speaker 2: Stand by.
• 2:19:19
Speaker 4: I have any affiliation with Trump.
• 2:19:21
  Speaker 9: Stand by.
• 2:19:22
  Speaker 2: Back with G2.

• 2:19:47
Speaker 2: Let's see what these callers want. You're on air. Are
• 2:19:52
Speaker 2: you there? Apparently not.
• 2:19:55
  Speaker 5: Yes.
• 2:19:56
Speaker 2: All right, you're on the air.
• 2:19:57
  Speaker 23: Hello.
• 2:19:59
Speaker 35: G2, are you familiar with Data Republican?
• 2:20:03
  Speaker 6: Yes.
• 2:20:05
Speaker 35: Have you seen what she has been putting out about
• 2:20:08
Speaker 35: these groups, the group of 1,600 spooks and former generals
• 2:20:15
Speaker 35: and basically recordings of all of them conspiring to declare
• 2:20:22
  Speaker 35: the government illegitimate?
• 2:20:25
Speaker 4: You know, the one thing that everybody can remember that
• 2:20:28
Speaker 4: ties directly to that was that letter with the 51
• 2:20:31
Speaker 4: intelligence agency people talking about Russia and how the hoax
• 2:20:35
  Speaker 4: was real.
• 2:20:36
Speaker 5: I know what you're talking about. I've looked at some
• 2:20:39
  Speaker 5: of it.
• 2:20:39
Speaker 4: I haven't looked at all of it. But we know
• 2:20:41
Speaker 4: that inside that government beast is exactly the element you're
• 2:20:45
Speaker 4: talking about, these traitors who really seek to overturn our system.
• 2:20:51
Speaker 4: And that's what you're talking about. I mean, that is
• 2:20:53
  Speaker 4: a collaboration conspiracy.
• 2:20:56
Speaker 35: The Washington Post puts out an article to try to
• 2:20:59
Speaker 35: get ahead of it, you know, making it like, oh, no,
• 2:21:01
Speaker 35: it's not a big deal. And then you have Alyssa
• 2:21:05
Speaker 35: Slotkin and Susan Rice out there telling us, you know,
• 2:21:09
Speaker 35: they're going to persecute people for their politics.
• 2:21:13
Speaker 4: Alyssa Slotkin's employer is who again? Who is Alyssa Slotkin's
• 2:21:17
  Speaker 4: employer again?
• 2:21:20
  Speaker 6: Exactly.
• 2:21:21
Speaker 4: That would be the CIA.
• 2:21:23
  Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly.
• 2:21:25
Speaker 35: And so, you know, if you put all these pieces together,
• 2:21:28
Speaker 35: I happen to watch, you know, a history on the
• 2:21:30
Speaker 35: Bolshevik Revolution, and then you have France. This is all
• 2:21:34
Speaker 35: getting really real right now.
• 2:21:36
  Speaker 2: Absolutely.
• 2:21:37
  Speaker 35: It's getting scary.
• 2:21:39
Speaker 2: I'm running out of time.
• 2:21:40
  Speaker 13: It is scary.
• 2:21:40
Speaker 2: Thank you for your call. Appreciate it. Should have further
• 2:21:43
Speaker 2: discussion about that in the future and get to call sooner.
• 2:21:46
Speaker 2: All right, G2, we wrap it up for another Wednesday,
• 2:21:49
Speaker 2: October 21st, 65 degrees. Thank you. Go back to the bunker.
• 2:21:52

• 2:21:56
Speaker 2: be on standby, okay?
• 2:21:58
  Speaker 6: Will do.
• 2:21:59
