Luna: Saya mahu kelapa. Simple. I want coconut. Lucas: Exactly. Now, if you want to ask the price per piece, you say: Berapa harga sebiji? How much for one? Luna: Berapa harga sebiji? That's like 'how much per fruit'. Lucas: Yeah, sebiji is the counter for round things like fruits, eggs. So Berapa harga sebiji? Luna: Berapa harga sebiji? Got it. So I can say: Saya mahu kelapa. Berapa harga sebiji? Lucas: Perfect. Then the seller might say something like: Kelapa ini besar. This coconut is big. Luna: Kelapa ini besar. So if I see a big one, I can say that too. Lucas: Yes. And to specify you want two: Saya mahu dua biji. Luna: Saya mahu dua biji. Two coconuts. Easy. Lucas: Now, if you want the seller to pick a good one — maybe a mature one for coconut milk — you say: Boleh tolong pilihkan yang tua? Can you help pick one that's old? Luna: Boleh tolong pilihkan yang tua? That's polite. 'Tua' means old, but for coconuts, that means mature. Lucas: Yeah. Let's run through all five phrases. First: Saya mahu kelapa. Lucas: Then you notice one is huge. You say: Kelapa ini besar. Then you decide to buy two: Saya mahu dua biji. Luna: And if I want them for cooking, I add: Boleh tolong pilihkan yang tua?
