Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: To the UK. We go Gavin greg good morning to you,
- 0:02Speaker 1: Good morning Andrew. So some bloke's been spraying pepper spray
- 0:06Speaker 1: all other people that he throw.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Yes, twenty one injured in total. Five of those needed
- 0:12Speaker 2: hospital treatment. But the chaos as the car park. This
- 0:16Speaker 2: was at the car park two Terminal three at London's
- 0:19Speaker 2: Heater Airport. The car park was pretty much in lockdown
- 0:22Speaker 2: for a couple of hours and that meant people were
- 0:23Speaker 2: hanging around trying to get their cars basically having gone
- 0:27Speaker 2: on holiday, so pretty miserable for them. And now police
- 0:30Speaker 2: have been quick to say this was not terrorist or
- 0:33Speaker 2: terrorists related. They say it was not a protest. Instead,
- 0:37Speaker 2: it looked like a group of people who knew each
- 0:39Speaker 2: other got involved in an argument. That argument escalated and
- 0:43Speaker 2: then that resulted in its alleged somebody using something like
- 0:47Speaker 2: pepper spray to spray people that they didn't like, but
- 0:50Speaker 2: ultimately others got caught up in it. Social media footage
- 0:54Speaker 2: I've seen shows large armed police response, fire engines and
- 0:57Speaker 2: officer searching a handcuff individuals. Incidentally, more suspects of being
- 1:02Speaker 2: searched for one person has been arrested. But quite extraordinary
- 1:06Speaker 2: experience and also tremendous knock on. As I said, for
- 1:09Speaker 2: those people who are at Heather today.
- 1:11Speaker 1: And speaking of bonkers whippons, some people have been throwing
- 1:14Speaker 1: custard and apple crumble at the Crown Jewels.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yes, thankfully the Crown Jewels are not harmed or damaged
- 1:21Speaker 2: in any way. They are of course behind strong glass.
- 1:24Speaker 2: This in the Tower of London, no less. But this
- 1:27Speaker 2: is a new group, new I think to most people,
- 1:31Speaker 2: called take Back Power. They appear to be an offshoot
- 1:34Speaker 2: of just Stop Oil, which of course we do know
- 1:36Speaker 2: about and have heard about. They say there are a
- 1:38Speaker 2: new nonviolent civil resistance group. They want to effectively have
- 1:43Speaker 2: a permanent citizens Assembly or House of the people, with
- 1:47Speaker 2: the power to tax extreme wealth and fix Britain. Anyway,
- 1:51Speaker 2: Andrew more of that later. Because the four people have
- 1:54Speaker 2: been arrested, they use custom and apple crumble to throw
- 1:57Speaker 2: at the Crown Jewels behind glass. Of course they are
- 2:00Speaker 2: just priceless, so plenty of concern that they might have damaged,
- 2:03Speaker 2: but yeah, permanently guard stationed in and around the room,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and thankfully no particular damage. Nevertheless, it's suggested this could
- 2:12Speaker 2: be the first in several stunts that this group carry out.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Apparently on Wednesday, they left manure under the Christmas tree
- 2:18Speaker 2: of one of London's top hotels.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Let's be on the pale and I thank you Gavin
- 2:23Speaker 1: Gray from the UK.
