- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome back to the show, Sarah.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for having me.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, everything's so fucking insane.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: So before we get into all the fucking insane stuff and some of it's good, let's just talk about this crazy weather and I want to know what you're experiencing because I want to start this off by saying last year,
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: or at least at the beginning of this year.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: I saw that the weather patterns this year were going to be specifically weird because the top half of the country is going through, I don't remember if it's like an El Nenia or whatever, but it's going to be cold on the top of the country.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: warmer on the bottom of the country so the middle of the country is going to go nuts and it pretty much has I'm in the middle part so what we've been experiencing like I want to find out I think I can't remember if I talked to you after that snow in January but oh my god we had that snow and it immediately turned into sleep which made they call it snow crate which was
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: There's still fucking snow outside, it's all black, not a lot, but like where I live, there's this big mound and it's all black, but it's from freaking January.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, we've had days in the fifties in the sixties here, and it's rained and rained and rained and there's still that fucking snow.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: So now we, it's snowed on,
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: Was it yesterday?
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: No, was it day before yesterday?
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Monday at the snow.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: It was so beautiful.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: woke up yesterday after a rain.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: All the snow is gone.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: And now they're saying next Wednesday it's going to be 80 degrees.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: So it said it was going to go up and down.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: So what's going on in your part of the world?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm in New England.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on the coast of Connecticut, though, so a lot of times we will not get as heavy as storms.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like it'll go north of us.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: But we did get that really bad storm like a week or so ago or like we got like Rhode Island because it came in off the ocean.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: So like Rhode Island got like three feet we got about close to two feet at the like 120 inches.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: So that's, but that is slowly melting because it has been warming and it's raining, but then it just turns to ice.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you have to be so careful walking around.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's been crazy.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't have that in terms of a winter and so like February and it's been nuts.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, yeah, I mean, it's been, I was cold in everything and then our snow came.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think we had one snow day.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think what happened was it snowed at night, which made me angry.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's like, I wanna see it.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: I like looking up the window and watching it snow.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: So like, what's the point when it snows when I'm asleep?
- 3:44[SPEAKER_02]: I get all the crap.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's nice to look outside and see like this beautiful, peaceful, snowy landscape that eventually just becomes dirty and disgusting and slushy, but if I can be the chorus outside, you gotta deal with that.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, and I mean, this, it's just been a crazy winter,
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: What's happening because of the climate crisis is I think we're getting shorter winters So um, for you know, I mean, I am not a winter hater I did not like that snow thing that happened in January that turned into snow-cree It couldn't even fucking get in my car for like two weeks and Because like the snow around it was like concrete and I just couldn't do anything
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: And anyway, so I did not like that.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: But I do like the chili temperatures, and you know, but I miss California.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: And didn't you use to live in Pasadena?
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: I lived across the dinner for 10 years.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I missed the jealous.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: It was like the best climate, and I'm like, why did I leave?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: But now I like, I look back and like my apartment is like $1,000 more per month, of course.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's expensive.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: Right, it's expensive and there's threats of fire all the time.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: And it doesn't matter where you live.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: You can live in the flats, doesn't matter.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, aside from that, there's, yeah, there's the expense, there's what was the other thing that I couldn't stand about it, and I'm not, I'm forgetting it, there's fires, oh, earthquake, because you know, they've been, I don't care about the little earthquakes, and I was, you know, I was there and then were you in the Northridge Quake?
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Not the note, no, I wasn't there for me.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was there.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: The I was like 25 years old and I was living with my mother and we had the earthquake and oh my god, it was so, it was almost a seven, right?
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: So it was really big.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: And I got on the floor and I crawled over to my mother's bedroom because there was a stairwell with like no guardrails.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I just thought, I don't want to get knocked down the stairs.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I just started screaming, mommy, oh my god, what's terrified?
- 5:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then the funny thing was my dad worked for ABC News.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: And he was on the East Coast when this happened.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: So he saw over the wire that we had a nurse quake.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: And he called me and he's like, you guys just had a nurse quake.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, really?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for the heads up, but yeah, they're saying though that like even when I moved there in 1977 they were like, oh the big ones come in, the big ones come in, so they haven't had a big one and they're fucking going to and that's the other reason.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: I can handle like the 5.2 earthquakes, you know, those are nothing.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I've been through a bunch of those in life.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was in one apartment in Pasadena and it was like a wooden frame and I thought it was going to fall down on me.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: Where in the movie were you in the south or more north?
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: That apartment was more like by hunting in hospital.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like down that area.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh God it was so beautiful.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: Beautiful.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then my other apartment was a still we moved into a steel frame newer building.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: And so when when we got the earthquake so it was kind of like jello.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: But like you didn't feel like the building was gonna fall down and it just kind of swayed with it.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: Do you watch shrinking?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, but everybody tells me I should.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's very good.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think you would like it.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it's set in Pasadena.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: So whenever I watch it, it's like, oh my god, all the fucking palm trees.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_02]: I want you to watch it and tell me what you think.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I will, I will.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: And then, okay, since we're talking about TV shows, I know we're going to get politics.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm fucking obsessed with the pit.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: Have you seen the pit?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen some of the pit, I haven't seen all of it.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what, I get bored.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: I have the worst intentions, fan.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: That is my, like, I don't know if it's my most favorite show ever, but it's definitely one of them.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I love, and is it Katherine NASA?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to say her name.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: But she plays nurse Dana, and I fucking love her.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, I love everybody on the show.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: I love no whiley.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I can't believe, like, Bob and I were late to the show.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: and then we started watching it, and then we got hooked.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: So we watched the first season.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_02]: Now the second season is on, and I think we have three more shows to get caught up because then it's weekly.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: And we're both like an appant.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: My mother's anapanic because she's like, what am I going to do?
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: What am I going to do when it's over?
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: And we have to wait until January, which is not that.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, usually you have to wait years.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: They're not making you wait years in between seasons because you know what they only use two cameras.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: They don't use any boom or anything like that, so they just, you know, and they only work in one place that room.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: So I think it's easier to instead of having to get locations and all that stuff.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: But oh my god, I'm so addicted to that show I love it so much, I just love it, love it, love it, love it.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm so happy I'm quickly too because it isn't supposed to take place kind of in a real time like that's like an age like they can't like exactly right that's true that's true because it's what what what one season is one shift so I see our shift
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: So what's going to happen in this season is Noah Wiley's character wants to go in sabbatical.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: So he's going to go on sabbatical after his shift and I have a feeling, you know, in all the doctors and nurses are taking bets because he wants to do three months and everybody's like he's not going to last three months.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_02]: But either way, when we come back in January, I'll bet he's coming back from sabbatical.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how it's going to go.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: but yeah so they can I think that you know I noticed in the second season they all had longer hair but time did go by you just don't know how much so yeah it's great though I fucking love that show um okay let's let's go over to the elections and let's start just with good news and I don't have anybody's name so you'll just have to pardon me but there's an Arkansas Democrat that flipped a house seat blue woohoo oh nice and then I don't know if you saw this but
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: The number of primary votes, okay, in North Carolina, the Republican got 251,000 K plus the Democrat, got 381,000 plus.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: No, yeah, and I did the math, I did the math on all of them.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: So it was all the candidates under the Democratic ticket, all the candidates under the Republican ticket.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I think all the candidates,
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: equaled around 330,000 for Republicans and over 400,000 for the Democrats.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: So this is good fucking news.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: We're a primary and there's people are so fired up to vote.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing, like, I wish they had been this way before, but we're going to take it where it's at.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, people are fired up to vote, so they're like, I'm going to go vote in the primary.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, there's a ballot.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to vote.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to vote.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, we saw the most, some of the most egregious voter suppression with what they were doing in Texas, because I think, I think it was, I don't know if I do you know it enough to explain it, what they did.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know enough, but what I do know is Republicans love to so inviting amongst Democrats.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: So like, that's what they did in 2016 with Bernie and Hillary.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, um, they laid all that groundwork to have in fighting, um, to help themselves.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And 100% know that they are, well, I'm not 100, but 99.7% sure that that's what's going on now is they were trying to, so just trust.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I, like, I don't know enough about it.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm happy Jasmine was like, you know, let's move forward.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: And let's wrap up like we need to unite as a party.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was because we don't, I guess we won't know what really happened.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really have a horse in that race.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to be happy with whoever it was and get behind them.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I like them both.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: So, well, from what I understand, and this was on the fault of the state elections, because I think it was supposed to be, and I'm not gonna get this 100% correct.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just giving you a basic just everybody.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: So don't yell at me if I'm a little wrong.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_02]: But it's kind of like this, where they said, okay, no matter where you live, you can go to any polling station you want.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: So if your polling station is three miles away, but there's a polling station, a mile away from you, you can go to the one, a mile away.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know, somehow, that got all fucked up and specifically, of course, people of color and black voters were getting turned away from the polls.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: And so a smaller court judge yesterday extended the voting hours until nine.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: because of this, because people were getting turned away.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_02]: And then, I guess the Supreme Court of Texas said, no, you can't extend it till nine.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know exactly all the details of that.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: I did see that Jasmine Crocket conceded.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that there was definitely dirty in that race as far as, not dirty, dirty.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, like, let me take that back.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: Not so much dirty, but,
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: it wasn't definitely there was some issues and and I don't want to say hurt feelings because it's not about hurt feelings.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, you know, all the fucking races are upsetting, especially when it's between two Democrats.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I think, you know, I wanted to see Jasmine Crocket win because I really like her, but I don't.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have, I'm not against, how do you say his name, Tala Riko?
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: Jays, how do you go?
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: Tala Riko.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, hey, he's a white man in Texas, maybe he has a shot.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think Jasmine, I really like Jasmine Crocket.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: She was my preference.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: But like you said, I don't live in Texas.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: This was not my race.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's different when it's a national election, because whoever is elected is going to have an impact on legislation that affects all of us no matter what state that Senator is in.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: But in this case, it doesn't affect us because it is just a primary.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: So, and I honestly, like, I love Jasmine.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: I love how I love fighting her.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: I love how smart she is.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then I love everything I'm hearing from James.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: So it was kind of like,
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it was win-win for Dems.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: I just hate that it came down to how shady it was.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: I hate that.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that that was staged on purpose.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: Of course it was.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: And now, and again, you know, I...
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: As a social media manager, you know, I'm scrolling social media all the time, and I see things and I don't always come in it to memory, but I do know that now Paxton and Cornan are fighting it out.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: And so this is, you know, that's going to be kind of entertaining.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: my way for that we're laughing last night at the there was a third Kennedy and he had a white of not like a lot of notes but he had enough that he spoiled it and we were laughing we were just like this.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yes exactly it's like yeah spoiler fuck you yeah okay now I want to ask you a question and I'm just going to see what you think and then all way in or whatever but we've got a lot of talk right now about you know we've got a war going on that pretty much nobody wants
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Although, I think, well, I'll get into that later.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: Long story short, people think the elections are going to be canceled.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you think?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's going to try.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to try.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we need to be ready for it.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to try to create enough national emergencies that he declares martial law and he'll try to do something.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, he doesn't have the authority to do so.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: But he's going to try.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: And, of course, it's hard.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that is what we need to be prepared for that.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have a legal authority, but he's going to try and he's like, he doesn't have a legal authority to attack Iran.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have the congressional approval to do what he's using like, he did it.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like, a decade old AUMF that has yet to been repealed yet, like an authorization of military force.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: So he's using the 2001, I think.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: So it's absolutely absurd, and that's why Congress leads to vote.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but the problem is he's not allowed to do it, but he did it.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing, and that's why I'm a little bit worried about the election.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like I think we need to know he can't and be prepared for what he tries to.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, and what I just kind of want to throw out there to everybody, you know, I see people going, he's going to cancel the elections.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: The elections are going to be canceled.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I really want to please beg you, don't frame it that way.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: No, because people that people aren't going to want to vote.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: We set up an expectation, you know, if all we do, it's like it's the same argument that I was saying when everybody just kept saying, we're doomed.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: Stop making that declaration.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's not true.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you feel that way.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: But that doesn't make it true.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: I used to say to myself,
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: The universe is against me, and that's a fucking crock of shit, but I believed it, because I had a pitty party, and I thought sorry for myself, because life didn't go exactly the way I wanted it to, and then I would come up with, oh, well, the universe is against me.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: Did that make it true?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: No!
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like...
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: we don't know right now this is this is not been written yet we can all guess because I agree with you he is absolutely gonna try that doesn't mean he's gonna be successful it doesn't mean that elections are gonna be stopped I do believe we have to be completely prepared for it
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: And we have to be not only prepared for it mentally, but we have to be prepared for it legally.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: So we can hurry up and fix that shit when it comes to, you know, when he does whatever it is he does.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: But let's not help him with making the declaration that it's not going to happen.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's serving Donald Trump.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: When you say that,
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: Got it, pisses me off.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, I've said it in close circles with friends.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to try to do this, but we can't be like, he's going to do this, but that's not.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: We don't say he's going to try.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: Then just to declare we're not going to have to be.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: Because no, we have to be smart.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: We have to write, you know, I mean, I'm not saying we should pretend things aren't true.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: Of course it's true.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's already floating that he's going to try to stop it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: We already, we all know this.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it's in project 2025.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's just, we all understand what their goals are.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: But we don't have to make their goals easier for them.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: We have to make them very much real.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that's just an issue that I have.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I feel like it's not rocket science, but Democrats are so used to being the underdogs and the O-Woe is me fucking party.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sick of it.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, we just saw, we just saw there was a poll that says Democrats are not too liberal.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: They're too weak.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, you know, I mean, we just saw, we just saw there was a poll that says Democrats are not too liberal.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: They're too weak.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: And, and, and so.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's not just the leadership.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of the time the voters have this tendency to it's the E.R.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: Democrats.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's the, you know, whoa, oh, they're so out.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, they're fucking awful.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: The president is a fucking pita racist, a rapist racist, and I'm not afraid to call him a pedophile because he never fucking sues anybody who calls him a pedophile.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Guess why?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he can't.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_02]: No, so it's like,
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: Duh, you know, I mean, I don't know, it's, oh, anyway, I get so angry, I get so angry about that too.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: I call him up, I get, I made a video yesterday and I'm the selfie thing and it was like, I call him up out of file.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, that's what it is.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because he's not gonna sue you.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: He said, you know what you can't say anything about his very tall son because you will get sued.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: So, his very tall son who would probably not be accepted by the military and that's all I'm going to say.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: But so, you know, everybody keeps saying, they wouldn't, and we know why.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, we know why, but and we're talking in code, right?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: Or, you know, Bob Biden was in the military and he, he wasn't like, oh, well, I'm a president son or a vice president or senator son or whatever, so I don't have to know he did it.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: But we all know Barron's never going to.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: If Barron would be a candidate that would be favorable for the military, he still wouldn't go.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: But I just don't think he is.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: So, okay, so, yeah, I think that
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: This is what I think as far as the midterms.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: I do think there's going to be shenanigans.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: But I think they're going to happen.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I think what's because it's really up to the states, he's not going to be able to federalize this.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I would be really fucking surprised if the Supreme Court gave him that before the election.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: As much as I don't trust the Supreme Court, I just don't see that happening.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: I could be wrong.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just guessing.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: But I think we're going to have elections.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're just going to see more of the shenanigans that we saw in Texas, where they're going to give information that isn't accurate.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to make it confusing.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to make it harder for people to vote.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's trying to end mail-in voting, which he can't do because all of Oregon is mail-in voting.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_02]: So I think we're going to get to the midterms.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_02]: It'll be a rocky road, and God only knows what he's going to do.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: But I think we're going to do it, and I think what we have to do is be prepared.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody needs to be prepared because, you know, there's going to be so many fucking restrictions.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: Have a plan.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, get the day off of work.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: If you can, you have plenty of time.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: I know not every employer is going to allow it, but if you can do it, get the day off, at least get a portion of the day off.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: just be prepared for it, have everything ready to go.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: And I know there's going to be some instances where we see ICE at the polling places.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: So you just have to, I don't know, be brave and just don't let them intimidate you.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: But I think we're going to have them.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we're going to, despite all of their cheating and suppression and all that shit that they do,
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think so too.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, I really, really do.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: And can I speak to the mail-in vote for a second?
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, please.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I lived in Oregon for three years.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: And it was so easy.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: They even sent you a booklet like explaining the issues and like where you're voting and like who you're voting.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, it's great.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: Mail-in voting is the safest way to vote.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's the safest and most secure.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why they don't like it.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Biden won in 2020 because it was heavily mail-in ballot and they couldn't,
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: couldn't break it.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I hate, I'm not even being in spiritual hip-hop, that it's a true, it's the safest method and they couldn't find ways around it.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why he was Trump was so upset that Biden won because he thought he could do it again.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: So it is the safest method of voting.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why they want to get rid of it.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: Hands down, that's it.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's just, I know, we got this crazy fucking road ahead of us, and it's going to be bad, you know, I mean, I don't, everybody's looking around now.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's got this fucking rash on his neck.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it's looks like shingles, but it does.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: But you know what, I saw some person on YouTube.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: He got some kind of, and the White House put out information saying he was using a cream.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: And this guy did whatever research he needed to do.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: And there is a cream that creates a rash and it's for cancer.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's a, what is that treatment?
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: What do you call the treatment for cancer?
- 23:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I can't think of it.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, yes, chemotherapy treatment.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: And so I guess it's this particular kind of a cream that, yeah, it will cause a rash that looks like what he has.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: So perhaps he's being treated for skin cancer on his neck.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's always outside.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: Plus, the other thing, uh...
- 23:47[SPEAKER_02]: this particular YouTuber pointed out that when you're on this cream, you can't be in the sun and Trump hasn't been golfing for quite a while.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's probably what it is.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, okay, I don't tell us so we all have to guess.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, that's probably, and I'm going to say something else too that I'm not sure about because I didn't finish watching, but what he did was he shot a body, like it was like a picture of a body and we're all of the
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what you would call them censor things where you're going to get rashes from shingles and normally
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: They kind of, at the way he explained it, is the shingles rash comes because it, like, it kind of goes in a line.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: And there are certain areas of the body that it's going to hit.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: And so this is what I didn't finish watching.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think that NEC part was not part of where shingles hits, but I'm not positive so I could totally be wrong on that.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I think there's a good chance that it could be this chemotherapy cream that he's talking about.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: But either way, this is just adding
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the fucking hand bruises on both hands.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he's not well.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's really not well.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: I've even, like, if you look at certain, he always walks around.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: I always used to make a comment about it being like, he's so sloppy.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: When he would always walk around with his jacket open, like in 2016.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why doesn't he learn and then, like, that the tie would drape, like, a little flaccid tongue, and it would look gross and it'd be like, uh, it's like button your jacket, man, like, look proper.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you never did.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: Now he's buttoning his jacket, and again, I have no evidence of this, but I've also been down that rabbit hole on listening to nurses on social media, I can see the outline of kind of like an all that kind of like to help it's heart, and that and you kind of wear it.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: And you can kind of know, like, oh, yeah, yeah, yes, because you know what there was also speculation when his jacket was open, I don't know, did you see that about somebody saw something and now that if you if you pay attention, his jacket's closed a lot now.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, okay, and that guy, who I don't know, he's the apesia, wait, what's, I'm not the apesia, I'm a, what's that guy's name?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, he's an Instagram and he's always talking about Trump's ill health and he's giving him two months, you know, I mean, and he's not saying,
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: that he's going to necessarily die in two months, but he just thinks that it's within two months from right now.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: Trump will either not be here or if he is here, he's not going to be able to speak coherently enough, and everyone's going to have to say, you know, all right, we have to do something now.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see, I mean, that takes us to what may.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: So sometime, maybe in May, we'll see.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: Is he Steven's to the White House?
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: I mean we're all waiting, I mean I like to sometimes find people on YouTube who are predicting his demise, whether, again, whether it's he leaves or is 25th Amendment out or whatever they think.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: And so there was one person who thought it was going to be on...
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: February 17th clearly they were wrong.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_02]: So there was another person.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't know who these people are.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't it's not like I've listened to them before and they've been right.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: They're just fucking randos, but you know, if they're going to predict a death of this guy, I want to hear what they have to say.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't care if they're fucking gristers.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: I just still want to hear what they have to say because it's kind of fun to think about it.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: But this next woman that are there's a woman who predicted March 14th.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: and she said that she got that date specifically, even though she specified it could be in or around that date, but she said I got that date.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: And then she thinks it's because like a foreign leader gets him.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: So, okay, let's just dance with this for a minute and pretend it's not true, but like, okay, let's say, maybe she's right, right?
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe she's accurate.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: And she got the date of March 14th.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe because Trump is attacking these other countries and there's tariffs and people are pissed, right?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: The world is pissed at him.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: So it wouldn't surprise me if somebody wanted to do something to him.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe like, here's a scenario that could play out because of the way she said it's like March 14th, but it could be before or after.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know a little bit before after.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just say that there was an attempt from a foreign country to get rid of him, which is not my preference.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: I do not want him murdered.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but no, I don't know.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_02]: I do not want him murdered.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I'd much rather just natural causes, but, um, in front of all of our faces, but, uh, let him be embarrassed.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, let him be embarrassed.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: Let him, or, you know, let him let him just hang around for a while, so he can suffer and know and then crash out, but my preference is all on his own.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_02]: But if it were to be this scenario that this woman is talking about, maybe somebody would make the effort a few days before March 14th, and then March 14th it would be over.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: That's just, you know, I don't even know what you would call it.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: Not even a guess.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's a psychic that I don't know even know if she's psychic.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't know what her track record is.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm never going to stop listening to when people make these predictions because if they say they have a prediction, I just want to see.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: It gives me something to look forward to.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, he's not doing well.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's really not doing well.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: He looks terrible.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then I was watching him with the state of the union speech, too.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: And he like he was really, you know how he'll always read a teleprompter and then go off book.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: And he was reading it really steadily.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: And he was even mispronouncing words that like were obvious words.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, uh, okay.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: Well, this doctor from Instagram, okay, this is gonna be gross.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm sorry in advance to everybody's gonna be grossed out by this.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: But this doctor, let me see, I'm gonna find this name while I'm telling the story.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: But Trump has a lot of extra saliva.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: You hear I'm slurping all the time, right?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's always going, and so there was, this doctor had interviewed voice, okay,
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to say this.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's E-P-I-S-T-E-M-I-C crisis, epistemic.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: Epistemic crisis, okay, that's his name.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's the Instagram guy who's always talking about Trump's health.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: So, a while back, he shared a video from a woman who is like a speech therapist, or she has like a PhD or some kind of,
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, medical, she's somewhere in the medical profession, and she's also, I guess some kind of a, I don't know if it's a speech therapist, but it has to do a speech.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, she said that with all that slurping, if it were one of her clients, she would immediately send them to the hospital because I think it was, it's either dementia or heart.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_02]: And so, I think it's dementia.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's that frontal lobe thing dementia.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_02]: And so I guess what happens is it becomes increasingly difficult for people who have it as it gets worse to swallow.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: And, okay, so there's that.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: Now this is the gross part.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: So this doctor showed us that during the state of the union, when Trump was talking aside from all the slurping,
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: he was fucking spitting out tons of stones.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: And they were landing and like they slow mode it and you could see it and he was saying that Because you know, I mean look people who still have their tonsils so Trump would still have to have his tonsils But people who still have their tonsils are gonna get tonsils stones.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's really gross But they get them but what's I guess what this doctor saying what's happening is that he's not swallowing correctly And it's getting dry in his throat and the fucking popping out
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like a throw-up that is so cool.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: That's so gross.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's just another indication that he is like falling apart in front of our eyes.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: He really is like he's decomposing.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like between his neck and his hands.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: And his ankles and like you can tell they're trying to like overdo his makeup and his hair is different too.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like it's thinning more it is and it's wider.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's going down.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think he's not quite I mean we all know that he's incredibly vain.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: Even though the look that he landed on was clownish, he was vain about it and he wanted it because he felt that was his signature branded look.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I want a definitely, I want to, I want to, I want to make a line.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_00]: I want to give you that makeup line.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: I want it to be clear.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it blended.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: No blending.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: No blending.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: I got to just bring this up.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: So first of all, let me just start this by saying that, you know, I've been a bit on a rampage because I'm noticing that Facebook has turned into the national inquire and people don't really know it.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: People are sharing
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: fucking disinformation and it's not political.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's just pop culture shit.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: So they don't understand.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: So many people don't even like, oh, so what?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I shared this thing that isn't true.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: So what?
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to keep it up because it serves whatever I believe.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: And okay, like what I'll give you an example I've already talked about this,
- 34:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then a man got thrown into the mix and I can't remember who the man was.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: All telling Caroline, live it to sit down baby girl or whatever.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_02]: They never fucking said it.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: And it shares that it according to Facebook and then that middler said it and all of them say it.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then here's how you know it's fake.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you google it, it just goes back to Facebook.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: Or,
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: There is a Facebook page, let's say it's named XYZ.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: So then whoever owns the Facebook page XYZ created a blog called XYZ.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: And then they post that information on the blog as the quote unquote source.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_02]: And that's all you got.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: If that's all you find, if that's your only source, it's a fucking lie.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: And people are sharing it.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're sharing it left and right, and then, and then it goes into the political because I don't know her name, but there was that age-old picture of Donald Trump with some ingrid issues.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think her name is ingrid something.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: She's a Swedish model.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: So people are superimposing Pam Bondi's younger face on her, and liberals are sharing it and falling for it, thinking that that was Pam Bondi.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: And then when you try to prove to them, when you show them the original picture,
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: They don't care, and they don't move out full.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's not helpful at all.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: And so I am just, you know, I mean, I try to tell people, but now what I'm starting to do is just quietly, I don't make big announcements.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not telling them they're wrong.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just unfollow them, because it's like you're sharing, you're basically sharing the national inquire.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason that it's so dangerous is because it's getting us numb.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: and we're just accepting anything we see.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: So when things that are political that come down in their lives, we just, oh, that fits my narrative.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sharing that.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_02]: And it's so fucking dangerous and it's just making me so angry.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_02]: So now the latest thing, and I'm sure you've seen it, is everybody thinks fucking Jim Carrey's been cloned.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: Have you seen that?
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: I have.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's not been cloned, people.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: No, he's not cloned, that is him.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: And it was, like, some, they're trying to say it was like a makeup guy.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and he just did it.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, just, he said that he pretended to be Jim Carrey because everybody was so gullible and he knew they'd believe him.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: And they believed him.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: That was Jim Carrey and Kathy Griffin came on and was like, that's Jim Carrey.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: I worked in Jim Carrey's house for two years.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: That was fucking Jim Carrey.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you can get some to it.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: It was his voice.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then if you, you know, I mean, he had plastic surgery.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's what happened.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: And he just looks a little different.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: He looks like what what's his face Brad Bradley, what's his face to it?
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Cooper.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: Cooper at the Cooper.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're fucking up their faces.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're right.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're doing like too much Botox on top and then it's a tagging and then some sort of cheek filler shit like Simon Cowell fuck up his face too.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like all these guys are doing the surgery and I'm like somebody tell them not to because I'd rather let's see an old man.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, aging gracefully than whatever the fuck you're trying to do to your faces.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it looks awful.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: But the fact that you know, I got corrected on blue sky by somebody who was like, oh, it wasn't.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: the clone, it was Alex, Alex is stone or whatever the guy's name is, who does like face, and you know, so I went to this guy's IG, and he did put on a mask and pretend that he was, um, oh fuck what's his name, um, I'll think of his name in a minute, Jack Nicholson.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: And so he put on a
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: was something from one floor of the kukus nest or something, some weird outfit like that, and he had a cigar.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: And he was so obviously not real.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I looked at his face, because I heard like this guy, because this person who Carmen had said it, he proved it.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought I went to a say he did not prove it, but I looked at you could tell the Jack Nicholson thing was a mask.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: He also created one for Creolea DeVille and it was the one close Crewella and I did the same thing.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: I went to his IG.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and you can see it.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: They look fake.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_02]: The person that was the Jim Carey clone did not look fake.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_02]: It was a real person.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: It looked exactly like Jim Harry did and he got like the Bradley Cooper bad face job.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then on top of it, you can also hear that it's him now another thing that I did, another thing everybody, you know, what's her name, Galane Maxwell was in that deposition.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_02]: And so, I figured out because they were saying this is not gelain Maxwell, and they would show a picture of her in the deposition, and then another picture of her from earlier.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_02]: And so, I was like, all right.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on here?
- 39:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I go and I look up the deposition and it's from a distance.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way you can see her face up close.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: So what we were seeing circulated was a graphic with what I believe was an enhanced picture of her face from the deposition and then a picture of her from before whenever.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: And so when you enhance a photograph,
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: that this is what really got me.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_02]: Glean Maxwell has hooded eyelids.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: And in the photograph, she does not have hooded eyelids.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: Plus she's wearing glasses.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: So an AI enhancement is not going to know to give someone hooded eyes.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to give you eyes that are not hooded.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what the correct term is.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: So I think what it was was they got that picture from afar and they enhanced it and the enhancement guest at her eyes.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: And then there was also a difference in her nose.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_02]: But nose is, it looks like she's gained weight and then also you nose and your ears always get bigger.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: So nose is changed.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_02]: So then I went and I listened to her voice and there is a, and I really specifically wanted to hear her when she was in prison,
- 40:29[SPEAKER_02]: when Joe Biden was the president.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: Because I thought, all right, if this isn't her, then the switch was made after Trump was in office.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: If there was going to be this big switch and she's out of prison, because it was Galane who was arrested during Joe Biden's presidency.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: So during Joe Biden's presidency, she was interviewed by some television like the today show or something like that.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: And it had her on the phone,
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: And you can listen to her voice there, and you listen to the voice in the deposition.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it's the fucking same.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I had to do some digging, but I figured it out.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's galane.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a fake galane.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: But all these people are taking a graphic on the internet, and going, it's not her.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then, and they'll say things like, they think we're so stupid.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_00]: I've watched AR now, I'm a doctor.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, and it's like, oh my God, it's just, I see it so much and I wish people were more careful.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I fucking hate Facebook, but I'm on it because I'm trying to use my platform for the good.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of shit, so I'm trying to use it for the good.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_00]: Here's my thing, it's like, we know Donald Trump is shitty.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: We're seeing all the shitty things he's doing.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to make shit up.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just going on it.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because they're just so they just want they hate them so much and I get it, but let's not make it worse, but they're doing them.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, it's because it's what did you do when you make shit up?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: And it's found to not be true is that everything else you're saying.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so if he said that's not true.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not doing yourself any favors.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: Go with what you know is true.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: He fact conspiracy in the back here had like all of us do.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: And be like,
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: maybe, but I'm not going to put that out there because I don't know that to be true.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there was this woman that I knew and she was a play dressed and she's liberal.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: And so she posted something, I don't remember what it was.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think what she posted was plagiarized, but she's a friend of my mother.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_02]: So my mother told her friend, hey, you should know that that person you just shared is a plagiarist.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: And my mom's friend was like, I don't care.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: I like what she said.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, how do you even fight that?
- 42:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_02]: I will never, I don't care if what she said in that post was original to know that someone is a plagiarist.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this one was blatantly.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think she's mentally ill, but I can't really say anything.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_02]: But she has plagiarized so many things.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, my mom and I know for sure.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: but what are you going to do?
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_02]: A couple other things that I want to talk about, but I do want to talk about women in the 90s and weight and women now with weight, but before I get into that because I think it kind of ties together.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: There's definitely, and I just want to ask you, you know, like, what you're seeing out there, or or I should say, are you seeing anything different when it comes to how both women and men are talking about patriarchy because I am seeing a difference.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: Are you seeing it?
- 43:49[SPEAKER_00]: I am, I honestly, this is, I actually, one of my best friends people having this ongoing conversation for months.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think where I was gonna say turning point, but I will not.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're at a tipping point of like,
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: We're seeing, I don't know if it's coming to an end, but it's coming to a head of the patriarchy pushing.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: And like, what we did, I saw this great meme, of course, that was like, we raised a bunch of women to push back against the patriarchy, but we didn't teach the men how to deal with it.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: So basically, it's like we're coming like the patriarchy and these empowered women are coming together.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the patriarchy is pushing back really, really hard.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, it's the male loneliness of Epidemic.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's fucking not.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's a man being held accountable for their actions.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: And they're lonely because, yeah, they're lonely because their assholes and they should look in the mirror if they want to see what's wrong with their lives.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's you!
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, too.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I came up on the internet in like the 2011-2012 era, right?
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: And so that was when Rush Limbaugh was talking about a sender flow being a slut for three days on his podcast, that led me to writing an open letter to him, getting me
- 45:04[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, what was like, I was the spokesperson for rock, the slut vote, and then, you know, was this whole push for, hey, everybody, the GOP is calling us sluts and we vote and fuck you.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_02]: And so, okay, great.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: and then look what happened so we won in 2012 Obama won and then look what happened.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_02]: We got Donald Trump and everything that oddly though the first term of Donald Trump's presidency
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: The last three states needed, or actually I think maybe in Biden, the last one was, but for the ERA, we needed three more states to sign on.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: We got to and I think Virginia, I think Virginia was the last, if I'm not mistaken, I believe so.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I believe that was when Joe Biden was president.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_02]: So, but it was interesting that that ball got rolling again after all those years after all those decades.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_02]: When Donald Trump became president, but you know, I'm definitely seeing, and I am seeing it more from men, not as much as I would like, because yeah, men are kind of freaked out about what's happening, but there's a lot of progressive men that are speaking up about it and talking about
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: how we need to refocus and look at things differently.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I just want to be clear here, like, people have a tendency to think a matriarchy is all women rule, or women having all the power, and it isn't.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: A matriarchy is a feminine energy, but it's more about a certain, like, patriarchy is from the top down.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's like the trickle down, that doesn't work.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: patriarchy is like a circle.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, let's take care of each other.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: What can we do to take care of each other?
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: And focus is around children too.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I and and I'm seeing more progressive men, because I don't think the answer is just to go all women.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's an easy and lazy argument.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: We are a world of women and men.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: We have, you know, the genders, we have the sexes, lots of different people, lots of different kinds of people, it shouldn't just be one kind of person representing us.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think it should be, you know, the people who represent us should look like us and act like us and understand where we are coming from.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_02]: And so, yeah, I think, I mean, I think we are headed toward more of a matriarchal place, but that's, you know, that's later on down the road because right now we're like,
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: We're having men push back to like who are like patriarchal like another and women too who have the brainwashing being like oh you just want a whole women let's decide I mean yes, but like you want a whole women let's society and they think of it in a patriarchal mind as like we're just gonna take over for the men do some men what men have done to us yes and that is what they're scared of and that is not what we're talking about no
- 47:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's not because we have no desire to do that.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's so annoying.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's so annoying.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: But I do feel good because I think the conversation of feminism on the right, they're always going to demonize feminists.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: But the feminist conversation, the patriarchal conversation is being had and I'm glad I think it's a good thing and I think only good is going to come from it even though
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: you know, we have a long road.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's not an easy road.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's not going to be easy.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: Don't expect that.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_02]: And then the last thing I kind of want to bring up is I really want to read Christina Applegates memoir because I've been reading, you know, like I guess it just came out and I'm seeing quotes.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: One of the things that I read about her is that while she was on married with children, she was anorexic, she was eating four almonds a day and if she ate five almonds a day, she got completely freaked out and would cry and was praised for her body.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: Up and down by the world because she was eating four almonds a day.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_02]: And this is like the second gen X, and I can't remember who the first was, this is like the second gen X woman in a week that was on some television show that talked about, you know, whether it was bulinia or anorexia in order to be accepted.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, now, I thought we were going into much better direction.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: I thought we were, you know, these gen zirs and millennials were kind of like, fuck this shit.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: the skinny mini blah, blah, blah.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_02]: But they're not fucking the GLP ones come out and all of a sudden, you're starting to, I don't know if you've seen Demi Moore and I really don't want this to be about bagging on the women who are choosing it or the men who are choosing it because I think it's all coming from pressure.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's just pressure from society.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_02]: But like Kelly Osborn and Demi Moore are so skinny that it's upsetting and it's,
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying, what kind of world are we creating where women feel that this is what they must look like in order to be valuable?
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think Kelly too, it's for her specifically, I think there's a lot of depression there for her with her surrounding her.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but yeah, I saw her and I was
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: I was concerned.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's shocking.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was very concerned for her.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and she's yelling at everyone and saying, you know, I can't believe women aren't supporting women and it's not about women supporting women.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_02]: It is about women supporting women.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm concerned about her.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's like, I always take, like I say this about Trump, if he were my father and I loved him, I would be concerned.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: And if she were my daughter, I would be terrified.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_02]: I would be terrified if my daughter looked like that.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, you know, I mean, it's one thing like back in the, you know, 90s when the size 0, because that's what Christina Applegate was dealing with, a size 0.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I mean, so was I.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: And here I am 60 tall with large bones.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: And if I was a size eight, people came up to me.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I don't think the industry people would have but people in my real life, including my doctor, because there was one time when I was a size eight, I just got really sick and I lost a bunch of weight.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: And everybody was so concerned and I was like, don't worry, it will come back and it did.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, it because my bones are very big,
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: They're not little bones.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_02]: So when I got super skinny, my bones looked wrong.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_02]: I looked wrong.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: I remember this guy came up to me in my acting class, because I had something called severe bacterial sinusitis.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I had already had an eating disorder.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: So, but my eating disorder, I didn't get too skinny.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: But then I got sick on top of it.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I got skinny and this guy came up to me.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I did gain it back and I only had an eating disorder briefly, but he was so concerned.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, he's like, you really don't look good.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I know.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like, thank you, but I will get better and I did.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: And thankfully, I didn't have an eating disorder, but I just feel like, I
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, I didn't have one for a long, but I feel like a lot of these women, I'd like for them to come out more and talk about that because, you know, especially, you know, I don't know what it's like now.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure women are, you know, I know women are feeling it.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we also saw the two women from wicked.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember their names.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: But the two women who started in Whickardard, believe in Ariana Grande and Ariana Grande and then the women who are in the area vote.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, both of them are very, very thin.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know why.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't have a problem with someone losing weight.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's just that when you are almost like skeleton like, it's concerning.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's not only concerning for the individual who's so skinny, it's concerning that all these people online, all these young girls are looking at these people and saying, oh, this is what I need to look like in order to be valued.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, back in the mean back, I had the similar situation back in the 90s where I was like, I got down, I'm a thinker about the same height of my bout six feet tall.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I also have larger bones, I'm just, I'm big, I'm built like an athlete, and so I did like some
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: local runway kind of stuff like where you like do like be the excuse in this and that and I was like so skinny and then to the point where my mom was buying me protein shakes right and then like and I got there to do a fitting and they told me I was they were like oh you're you're kind of bigger than what we were expecting and I was like holy like that that would not was the 90s and um I'm like
- 53:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, I don't, I was like, I don't need this.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's bullshit.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I got, I got told the same thing.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, there was, there was a casting director who was overweight and she was a woman.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: And she figured out that I was wearing support hose that I had cut off kind of as a girdle.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: And she, she put her hand on my leg and felt it.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: And as soon as she felt it, she kind of knew
- 54:13[SPEAKER_02]: that that was you know my insecurity or whatever and so she told me you know you need to lose weight or you're never going to be taken seriously.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_02]: I was I was pretty thin at that point and I also had another person tell me that if I that broke the put it she told me she she she worked on suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields and Brooke Shields and I are basically at that time we were
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: the same.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_02]: I might have actually been a little leaner than her at that time.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're talking about.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: And she told me that if I didn't lose 20 pounds, I wasn't going to be considered sexy and how Brook Shields was much thinner than I was.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, and that woman was a bitch.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to say who she is and a lot of people might know her, but I'm not going to drop that name.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: But still, it was, and that's what led me to the eating disorder.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not
- 55:05[SPEAKER_02]: it was just I had heard enough and I thought that's it.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to be taken seriously unless I fucking make myself sick.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: And so I I had bulimia and I'm grateful that the bulimia that I had was not how can I say I didn't consistently do it.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: I did it.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to get into too many details because I know that that could trigger people, but I'm just going to say that it wasn't something that I did like other people.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think, you know, you hear the term binge and purge.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't do that.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_02]: I just got rid of meals that I felt weren't.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_02]: up to you know my impossible standards of what I could consume.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_02]: And so if I ate something that I thought had too many calories or something, I would get rid of it.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_02]: But it wasn't every single day.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: And then I went on birth control and I immediately gained 15 pounds and I thought, what am I fucking going to do about this?
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: I can't eating disorder this away.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: So I just stopped.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I was afraid, because I thought, if I keep doing this, I'm going to ruin my esophagus.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to ruin my teeth.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to ruin my stomach.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_02]: So I just stopped.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I was really grateful that that was, because I think in my eating disorder, the control was about controlling calories and fat and nutritional intake.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: As opposed to me having, I know some people have eating disorders because maybe they were coming from abusive families
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: having some kind of a life that they didn't feel they control, and they felt they could control the food.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: That was not my mindset.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: I had a different mindset, and I don't want to say one is better than the other, or whatever, because if they're all fucking bad and they're all unhealthy, but that was what I had, and I was just grateful that it was easy for me to stop, and it was just kind of such a fucking relief, and I didn't do it for that long.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, I grew up in that time, and I remember just looking around and thinking,
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: and I can't do this and I just it was awful and now I look at some of these women and I think this is worse than the 90s.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: Where are we going?
- 57:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh I know when I um last like last year I mean the last couple of years I had not this past year because I I don't do it anymore but I had a I had a bit of a drinking problem.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_00]: I was drinking way too much and I put on a lot of weight and um
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm down, like, over 60 pounds now.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: But by congratulations.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, thank you.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_00]: I feel better.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: My heart's better.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm able to exercise better.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_00]: I agree I don't snore at night anymore.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_00]: My wife likes that.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, I have, I did use a GLP one.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_00]: I absolutely did.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_00]: And it actually curved my cravings for alcohol.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't drink alcohol.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't drink at all anymore.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: But once I got to, like, my goal weight.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I stopped now I take a maintenance every other week or whatever, but like,
- 58:02[SPEAKER_00]: I do think people might be up using it.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, and that's what I mean, there's always going to be a piece.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's the people who use it responsibly.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: And then there are the people who take advantage of it because they just, you know, whatever.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: Whether they don't have the time to go on a diet proper, whatever it is that they're doing, and they do abuse it.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_02]: And then they get too skinny.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_02]: Because I think, you know, I was looking at Kelly Osborne last summer.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_02]: she was had lost weight, but she looked good, you know, she was a smunder and nobody would have looked at her and said she's overweight, not anybody at all.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then it just kept getting worse and she kept losing more and she kept losing more.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like right now I'm on this, and I'm gonna let you go because I know I've kept you forever longer than I expected.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_02]: But I finally have figured out,
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: how to lose weight as a post-menopausal woman and the funny thing is is I have been a allergic to dairy ever since the 90s before we had all the alternatives with that nothing.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I would eat dairy and I would get cystic acne.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_02]: Although, it would aggravate my already existing cystic acne.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_02]: Because when I stopped having dairy, I just, I think it cleared up about 70%.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, I have avoided dairy for 30 years.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_02]: I recently, I won't go into the long story of it, but I recently started incorporating it back in.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_02]: And now I've incorporated, I was incorporating good culture cottage cheese.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_02]: That was okay.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_02]: the Greek yogurt, the non-fat Greek yogurt, and so far so good.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the interesting thing was when I started eating that and replacing other meals with that, I started noticing that I was leaner.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not thin, but like I could see.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: My stomach's kind of not as bloated and my thighs are a little bit like I can tell by the way my clothes are fitting me.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm actually right now using
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm logging everything that I eat, all the, you know, I'm like, here's what I ate, tell me my macros for the day.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm logging it all, and I'm actually eating more than I ever have because I was one of these women in the 90s who was like, restrict or strict or strict, if you wanted to be thin, you stopped eating.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_02]: So that's what I did.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_02]: And you did a lot of cardio.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_02]: When you're a menopausal post-monopausal woman, that does not work.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_02]: And so I am not used to eating more food.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_02]: And basically I have bumped my cat.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_02]: I went from starvation mode, which actually was holding the weight on me.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think I was eating anywhere from 1,000 to 1,200 calories a day.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_02]: and that just wasn't enough.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I wasn't getting any workouts or anything and I wasn't needing enough protein.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now I've up to my protein to about 100 to 150 grams a day.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm just doing light working out.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going crazy.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_02]: If I lose weight too fast, I get what's called, let me think, what is it called?
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_02]: Basically hallucinations,
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_02]: I smell burning smoke and I smell like rotting meat.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's a thing and I'm not, again, I'm not gonna get into that.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember what it's called, but
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_02]: when I lose weight too fast, that triggers it.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_02]: So I have to be slow.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm eating around 14 to 1500 calories, and I'm noticing a difference every single day.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_02]: Every week I put my, you know, I wear the same pants to go to the store because I'm just like, I wanna see each week.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_02]: what my body's doing because I won't weigh myself and each week they're getting looser and looser and looser.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I finally figured out for me and everybody's different what's going to work but I'll just tell you right now if you're a woman I'm 57 if you're a woman
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_02]: whether in or past menopause and you think calorie restriction and lots of cardio is going to do it for you and you're not losing weight.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_02]: Trust me on this it's it's it's definitely about maybe upping your calories and getting about a hundred to a hundred and fifty pro grams of protein every day and getting some strength training and straight what it's all about.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say I was going to say strength training yeah you want to get your bones so they yeah.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_02]: And you don't even have to do a lot.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you just do enough to wear your, you know, making a difference, but you don't have to sit there for an hour and do it.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_02]: I like do 20 minutes.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I do different variations of it.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_02]: Some days I don't have as much energy plus I have arthritis.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_02]: So I have to work through the arthritis and all that shit.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_02]: So I just do, like, I don't push myself.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I do, I motivate myself and push myself to do it in the first place, but I'm not overly, like,
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, I have to keep going.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not doing that to myself anymore.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just being cool and it's happening.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm glad.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm grateful for it.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I mean, I don't know.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think about all this stuff and I think here we're talking about, you know, losing weight in this net and then like, there's the world's on fire.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_00]: I need to be burdened.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_00]: I need to be burdened.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_00]: I need to be burdened.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_00]: I need to be for the revolution.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_00]: I can't, like, be out of breath.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_02]: Go off stairs.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_02]: I need to be healthy for the revolution.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_02]: There's my excuse.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, oh, so always, it's always a good ton talking to you.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, I say this every time, but tell everybody where to find you.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: You can find me pretty much everywhere as Sarah Wood writer, like writing things down, and then a blue sky as Sarah Wood.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, that's where I'm at.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_02]: Alrighty, we'll Sarah.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's always fun talking to you and I know we'll talk again.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
