Woman Charged After Leaving Nonverbal Man in Car | Annapolis News
A Howard County woman has been charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult and reckless endangerment after allegedly leaving a nonverbal man locked in a car while she dined at a restaurant. The man, cared for by nonprofit Richcroft Inc., was found unharmed but trapped — windows slightly open, child lock preventing exit. Richcroft terminated Sanders, who worked there just over a year, and is launching an internal review.
