- Week 7 Start Sit: Week seven is the unofficial halfway mark of the fantasy football regular season, and we are here, so let's jump into who you should start and who you should sit this week. Well, welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. I am Craig. If you're new here, I drop these videos every single week: ranking videos, start sits videos, waiver wire ads, and plenty of other things. So if you like what you see here, be sure to hit that like button, hit that subscribe. Before we start, actually, we do have a few teams on and by this week. We've got the Bills, the Jaguars, the Chargers, and the Commanders all on and by this week. So some big names there in your fantasy lineups that you need to make sure that you have a replacement for going forward. Hopefully you've already addressed that on the waiver wire, but let's jump into Thursday night football. The New England Patriots travel to Chicago to take on the Bears, and we've got some fun names in this one, some big time names. I think two offenses that are probably going to clash in this one and put up some points. I know it's Thursday night and those are usually a yawn fest, but these are two very good teams, very good offenses. And we'll start on the New England side of things. Drake May, he has been the quarterback one by. 700 miles in the last three weeks. He has been dominating. Of course, I dropped him after week, I think, two when he was really putting up some duds, and now he is dominating against me. He threw five touchdowns or four touchdowns, ran for one against me two weeks ago. That one hurt really bad. But nonetheless, he is in your starting lineup. Ramondre Stevenson is in your lineups. Travion Henderson is a sip this week. AJ Brown, I know didn't really put up The biggest numbers last week, but he had a ton of drops. That will get corrected. He is a star in your lineup. Romeo Dobbs has been put on IR. He will no longer be able to be in your lineups for the next few weeks. Demario Douglas, we're gonna go ahead and sit him. I feel like we're just chasing points if we throw him in the lineup. I know he could get some action with Dobbs out there, but I really I'm not a big believer in Douglas week after week. And then Hunter Henry, he has been. Quietly putting up some decent numbers these last three weeks. And now with Dobbs out, maybe you can say that we're chasing numbers a little bit there. But him and Drake May showed a rapport last year together. And I think AJ Brown will open that field up a little bit more for Hunter Henry. I would go ahead and put him in my lineup. Over on the Chicago side of things, I want all the pieces just like I have pretty much all year. But now with Caleb Williams back, we already saw last week that the boost that that gives this offense. So Williams is a start. DeAndre Swift is a start. Kyle Menungai, as of the recording of this, still injured, still not practicing. We'll see if he's able to go as the week goes on. Hopefully he'll be back in the lineup. But I would say they're probably going to give him one more week. hopefully that's all it is because I've got him in a few leagues. But Roshan Johnson, if he is there and Manungai is out, I would I would feel confident starting Roshan Johnson at the flex. They like using two running backs, they want to use two running backs. And we saw we saw. Roshan get those goal line carries last week. If you've got him, feel good putting him in your flex. At the wide receiver position, I want Luther Burden, but I do not want Roma Dunze right now. Seems to be that it is the Luther Burden show in that wide receiver room. What I expected coming into the year, but you never really know how that's going to shake out. It appears to be Burden and then Odunze. And then Colson Loveland got his boost, got his touchdown last week, could have had two touchdowns, got tackled inside the two yard line again for what feels like the tenth time this season. but I think Colson Lovelin is a a top eight tight end going forwarded this season. To the Steelers and the Saints, this will game is on Sunday morning over in Paris. We'll go ahead and start Aaron Rodgers, Rico Dowdle, and Jalen Warren are going to be a headache all season long. I still feel comfortable starting Warren, but Rico Dowdle definitely eats into his workload. I just think that Warren catches enough passes and he is explosive enough of a player that you can't take him out of your lineup right now. DK Metcalf is still going to continue to see targets, especially with the injured wide receivers in that room. So we'll start him and then Jeremy Bernard, the big waiver wire pickup these last couple weeks. Hopefully you got him. And if you do, you throw him right in your lineup with confidence. Aaron Rodgers loves this guy. He's going to look for him early and often and he is a bona fide start for me. Pat Fryermouth, same thing. He came into the last week kind of banged up a little bit, but Rogers loves him. He loves throwing it to him. So if you've got him, you don't have better options. Pat Fryermouth could be a good streamer this week. On the New Orleans side of things, this one's tough. I really like the Saints offense, but this offensive line is very banged up. They're going against a very good pass rush and they have no run game right now. so I am a little bit hesitant on these guys, but I still will start them. Shuck, Olave, Devon Vale, and I guess even Juwan Johnson could be a start. He's coming off a few rough weeks. I'm very worried about this passing offense in this game. Like I said, the Steelers pass rush is very good. The Saints offensive line is very not good, very banged up, and I'm worried about it. But When you look at the running backs, I'm gonna sit both of those guys. I don't really feel comfortable with Camara or Miller. I think both of them have shown flashes. If you're in a deeper league and you need a a running back, I think Camara could be a good start. He seems to get some passing work. I could see them dumping off to him when that blitz comes from the Steelers. but if I don't have to, I'm not looking to start either of those guys. To the 49ers and the Falcons. This one is getting very, very hairy. You've got Brock Purdy is a start, Christian McCaffrey is a start, and George Kittle is a start. And then at the wide receiver position, I have no idea who they who they're gonna have. I mean, they may have Christian Kirk back for this game. It's getting very, very thin very quickly for the 49ers. So I really don't want anything to do with that offense outside of Purdy, McCaffrey, and Kittle right now until I see how things shake out. On the Atlanta side of things, kind of the same story there for a while, but seems to have shaken out Pennix. Bijan, Drake London. I want to start all of them. And then Kyle Pitts, he obviously had a couple touchdowns last week, but I don't know that you can bank on that every week. Drake London still hasn't found the end zone yet. That's going to happen at some point, maybe even this week against San Francisco. I'm gonna sit Kyle Pitts unless I have better options. For the Bengals and the Ravens, you've got Joe Burrow a start, Chase Brown a start, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, all our starts, and Mike Gasicki is a sit. Think that Bengals offense is going to look to really run the football in this game coming off of that bye. They struggled to run the football early in the season. And I think they probably addressed that during the bye week. I I could see an emphasis on that and Chase Brown maybe having a big day for Baltimore. Hopefully Lamar Jackson is back this week. If he is, he's a start for me. Tyler Huntley would be a sit. Derek Henry, Zay Flowers, our starts. Jacoby Lane, I think you can fire up as a flex play. He should see plenty of targets in this one, especially if Lamar is back. I think Jacoby Lane is a fine flex start for me. And then a Mark Andrews, I will throw him in at my tight end position as well. Over to the Buccaneers and the Panthers, Jalen Daniels has been playing very good football. Not necessarily fantasy football that I want in my lineup. So I'll sit him, Baker Mayfield, if he is back this week. I don't want him in my lineup at the first week he comes back from that injury. So I'll sit both of those quarterbacks. Bucky Irving, I will start. Kenny Gainwell will be a sit. Omeka Abuka seems to have a firm grasp on that wide receiver one position that we thought coming into the season he would have. So he will be a start going forward for me. Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst, and Kate Otten are all sits for me. On the Carolina side of things, Bryce Young, a little bit of a slow start last week, still turned it into a decent day. This Carolina offense will have better days than they had last week. So I'm starting young, Chuba Hubbard, Tet McMillan, Jalen Coker, and Dar Darren Waller. I like I said, I think they're gonna have much better games than they had last week. For the Giants and the Texans, will it be Jameis? Will it be JJ McCarthy? I don't know. It's gonna be a headache. If I knew for sure it was JJ McCarthy, he would be ranked, you know, a low end quarterback two for me, probably around quarterback twenty or so, if I had to guess off the top of my head. But I don't know who it's gonna be as of the recording of this. I don't know if they will have all of the reps. They may split the game. I have no idea what's going on in New York, but I don't want to start either of those quarterbacks. I don't want to start any of the running backs either. They just recently released Najee Harris, so it kind of clears things up a little bit, but Still a murky situation there in the running back room. The only guys I want to start are Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely for the Giants. And then over to the Houston side, CJ Stroud is playing some great football right now. One of the better quarterbacks in the league, especially in fantasy football right now. He will be a start. Woody Marks, I would assume, will get the full backfield to himself with Houston going on a bye next week. I can't imagine that they bring back David Montgomery this week. So Woody Marks will be a start for me. Nico Collins will be a start. Marvin Harrison Jr., I still want to see it. We only saw about nine routes last week, and I want to see more out of him. He looked pretty good when they threw him the ball in week seven, but going forward or in week six, but going forward, week seven and beyond, I want to see it before I throw him in as a flex or potentially a wide receiver two someday. Dalton Schultz, I will sit him as well. To the Colts and the Vikings, this one could be a bore fest. Who knows? with these two offenses, you never know what you're gonna get. Both capable of putting up points, but just haven't made it happen this year. Daniel Jones, as of right now, is the starting quarterback, and I want no part of that. Jonathan Taylor, I definitely trust him. He will be in my lineup. John er John Downs. Josh Josh Downs is a sit. Keenan Allen right now is a sit. If you don't have better options, I could see Keenan being a flex play. Definitely gets the targets that you need. In a deeper league, I would be okay putting Keenan Allen in. Certainly not in a 10-team league. I don't think I'd put him in, maybe in a 12-team league. And then Tyler Warren, as of right now, still injured with that groin issue. On the Minnesota side of things, coming out of the bye, Kyler Murray, we'll we'll put him in there. I think better days are ahead for him and his rushing value. Aaron Jones has been solid all season long. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and TJ Hawkinson are both injured as of right now, coming out of the bye. I assume TJ Hawkinson will be back after suffering a concussion right before the bye. I would think having two weeks off before the game would get him cleared, but certainly keep an eye on that. If he is in, I will put him in my lineup. To the Dolphins and the Jets, Malik Willis, we're sitting, we're basically sitting this entire Miami offense outside of Ollie Gordon. He has been good to rumble into the end zone. If you need a running back, he is a solid RB two option for you week in and week out. On the Jets side of things, kind of the same story, a little bit. Geno Smith, we don't want any part of right now. I think he could be an okay start this week if you absolutely needed a quarterback, but I'm certainly not rushing to the wire to pick him up. Brees Hall, still injured as of right now. I I don't know if he'll be back this week or not, but Braylon Allen has been very good in his absence. Garrett Wilson's obviously a start. Omar Cooper, I think you can go ahead and put him in your flex. They've obviously used a high draft pick on him and they want to get him featured. Came back last week and got him involved right away. So I would expect the same this week against Miami. Adnaye Mitchell's still injured right now, and Kenyon Sadiq has had a very quiet last few weeks. The Browns and the Titans, this is a an intriguing matchup, maybe one that we didn't expect coming into the year with the Browns currently leading the NFC North or AFC North. Deshaun Watson is a sit for me. Quitchon Judkin still injured as of right now. Jaleel McLaughlin and Audrick Estime, I don't want to start. Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion. I think you just if you have you start if you need If you don't, you keep on the bench. I mean, they're you what you've gotten so far out of them this season is probably what you are going to continue to get the rest of the season. They're gonna have games where they look really good. They're gonna have games where they don't look good. But I think both of those guys are very involved in that offense and at any point could pop off. A guy that's not very involved in that offense is Harold Fannon. He's had a very down few weeks here. And I just, if I've got a better option I can turn to, I would rather put them in my lineup than Harold Fannon Jr. right now. Talk about not being very good. Cam Ward has not looked good. He will not be in my lineup anytime soon. Tony Pollard, low end RB2, just like every week. If you've got better options, go ahead and sit him down and put a better option in there. But If you need running back with bye weeks, I get it. Throw him in your starting lineup. Tajay Spears is a sit. Carnell Tate, I feel comfortable with as a low-end wide receiver, too, high-end flex play for him, a week in and week out. A little bit matchup dependent, but I think he could have a good game here against Cleveland. Moving on to the Broncos and the Cardinals, this Broncos offense has been very underwhelming this year. Bo Nicks is a sit, RJ Harvey. If you're in a full PPR league, I guess RJ Harvey could get into your lineup just because of the pass game value that he brings. But J.K. Dobbins is the running back that I would prefer in that league or in that game. Seems to rumble in for a touchdown or two. and then Jalen Waddle has been hit or miss, obviously banged up right now as well. So if I've got better options, I'm definitely looking to to bench Jalen Waddle. On the Arizona side of things, Jacoby Brissett is a sit for me. Tyler Algier did not look great last week, and Bam Knight actually got A lot of the work in that one. I still feel comfortable starting Tyler Algier personally. I think that you can run against this Denver team, and I think that they'll look to use him a little bit more in this game. Jeremiah Love is obviously injured right now, so we're staying away from that. Michael Wilson, a little bit of a down couple of weeks here since they moved on from Marv. But I think if you've got him, you've got to just keep throwing him out there. He gets so many targets that eventually he's going to have a good game. Kendrick Bourne, I think same thing, gets so many targets. He is a good flex option for you. And then Trey McBride, you're obviously starting every single week. Over to what should be a very exciting offensive match in the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. Give me all the pieces in this one. Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft. I want all of them. And then Josh Jacobs, welcome back to the lineup, sir. They have already come out and said he is our starter. He will be getting the full workload. And even if he doesn't, I mean, even if they ramp him up, he's going to get the red zone carries. He's going to shine at the goal line, those short yardage carries. That's what he does best. That's why they brought him in. so even if he doesn't play in between the 20s, he's going to get those high value touches. You want Josh Jacobs in your lineup. I wouldn't have any hesitation throwing him right in right away. On the Detroit side of things, give me that entire offense. Goff, Gibbs, St. Brown, Williams, and Laporta. Every single week that I have said to start Jamison Williams, he has had a down week. And every week I have said to sit him, he has exploded. So take that for what it is. You never know with him. He he is a a guess every single week. It just depends on how confident you feel in him this week. To the Rams and the Raiders, Stafford is a start. Kyron is a start. I know he came out and said some things in the media after that game on Sunday when they lost to the Cardinals. that he needs to be in the game more and that's why their offense has been s being so slow and stagnant at times. I I think that he may get punished a little bit for that. And so that's why I have Blake Corum in my flex cons flex consideration this week. Corum got the start last week against Arizona. It was a weird deal, but we've talked about that all year in games where they don't think they need Kyron Blake Coram gets more run. In the bigger games where they need Kyron, they lean on him heavily. This could be a game where they lean on Kyron heavily, but I'm still gonna put Corum out there in my flex if I have to. And then Puka Nakua, obviously you're starting him. Devontae Adams set to miss six to ten weeks with that hamstring issue, really devastating blow for the Rams going forward this year, but it opens up opportunities for a guy like Tyler Higby. And one more note before we move on, Terrence Ferguson is set to come back in week eight from the IR. I don't know if he will or not, but certainly be checking your waiver wires for him because he will have a big role in this offense going forward with DeFonte Adams missing time. On the Las Vegas side of things, Cousins, you can sit him this week. I don't feel comfortable against that. Rams defense, I know that they maybe haven't lived up to the hype, but they are still a good defense. Ashton Genty and Brock Bowers, I will start both of them. Genty has made me very nervous these last few weeks, and I know a lot of people feel the same way. But Trey Tucker had a big week last week. I don't have him on this list, but I feel like I'm chasing points a little bit if I put Trey Tucker into my lineup this week. If you don't have better options and you want to throw him in there as a flex or a wide receiver too, I'm okay with it. I think that the volume will be there. I think that the Raiders will be down in this game and throwing quite a bit. Over to Sunday night football. This one should be very fun between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks. Ken Walker's return back to Seattle. I want a lot of pieces in this game as well. Mahomes, Walker. Rice, if he is back and healthy. If not, Xavier Worthy, I will put into my lineup. But expecting them to be at full health, I would definitely prefer to have Rice in my lineup over Worthy. And then Travis Kelsey, he can be a start at the tight end position for you. On the Seattle side of things, Sam Darnold is a start. Zach Charbonnet should be back this week. I'm not rushing to throw him into my lineup right away. First game back from that knee injury. I I'm hoping I have better options than him. but then George Pelani and Emmanuel Wilson, I am Cautious on those. I think Emmanuel Wilson will get the majority of the run in this game over Zach Charbonnet. So I think if you've been leaning on Emmanuel Wilson, you probably are good to do that for another game, maybe two. And then Jackson Smith and Jigbo, we are obviously starting him. And finally, Monday night football the Cowboys and the Eagles, Dak Prescott, Javante Williams, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, we are starting all of them. Jake Ferguson is taking a seat. And then for the Philadelphia Eagles, man, they are a shell of themselves right now. Tanner McKee should throw it about 50 or 60 times in this game, but I'm not gonna rush to start him. If you need a quarterback, he could be a good fill in option. Saquon Barkley's still injured as of right now, so Damian Pierce will be getting that start. If you need a running back, Pierce could fill that role. He got into the end zone in week six, but I'm not rushing to start him this week. Devonta Smith, I think, is quarterback proof. You can Definitely start him with confidence. and then the rest of the receivers, I'm kind of staying away from Dallas Goddard. I do feel comfortable starting him. All right, guys. Well, that's all I've got for you this week for the starts and sits for week seven. Let me know down in the comments who did I miss, who would you have starting that I had sitting, or vice versa. Let me know down in the comments. Hit that like button, hit that subscribe, and I will catch you guys on the next video. See ya.
