- 0:00H it is time to leave your worries outside and join me Dan O'Malley along
- 0:34with Trey Trenholm and Rod Sharma right here inside the treehouse. It is Friday,
- 0:48February twenty third, twenty twenty four. I do I'm with it right
- 0:54the especially the facial expression you make when you when you do give your Friday
- 0:59it is it is. It is a sight to beld, especially especially like
- 1:06that time when I really get into it and I try to hit that note
- 1:11that only the lead singer of the Darkness seems to be able to hit.
- 1:15But yeah, once the uh, I referred I refer to that face as
- 1:21as the as the stank face. Okay, singers get it when they try
- 1:26to hit a certain note, and the stink face is most common with guitar
- 1:34players because when they when they get when they reach down to the bottom of
- 1:38the fret and they really want to lay into a high pitched note, their
- 1:41face automatically goes, yeah, it's that squint where they're trying to like gotta
- 1:47hit that and I and I refer to that as like you got to put
- 1:49some stink on it to get that note, and to put some stink on
- 1:53it you got to make that face, gotcha? Okay? And I call
- 1:59it, you know, put some stink on it, because it's also the
- 2:00face you make sometimes if you turn around and look at what you just did
- 2:04in the bowl, like the O'Malley stink. Hey you have it too,
- 2:12he just made. But it is time leave those worries outside, join us
- 2:16inside the treehouse. Let's get stupid. There was actually a lot to get
- 2:23to today, a lot of fun stuff, but there is there's some serious
- 2:27stuff going on, like you know, there was there was a pretty uh
- 2:36there was a violent stabbing in Austin last night. Oh no, but first
- 2:40birthdays. Actually the stabbing wasn't last night. It was a couple of days
- 2:47ago. But still sometimes news isn't always quickly breaking. But today is day
- 2:58February twenty third, two twenty four birthdays today. Dakota Fanning turns twenty nine.
- 3:05Started out as a little girl and I am Sam opposite Sean Penn in
- 3:13one of the last portrayals of a quote unquote act. Well, what's the
- 3:21proper way to say this? I was waiting to see what you were going
- 3:23to say. I don't want to say normal guy playing a special needs person
- 3:29because that's not exactly PC anymore, it's certain, and because normal is not
- 3:34really a fair tern because what is normal these days? I think all of
- 3:37us have realized that there really isn't any actual normal anymore. We're all left
- 3:40up in some way. So maybe it would be the proper way to describe
- 3:46Sean Pinn's portrayal of a disabled or is that that's not even proper in some
- 3:53cases mentally challenged? Yeah, but I can see some people argument whatever,
- 4:02Sean Penn played a role that nowadays he probably wouldn't get the role because he's
- 4:06not himself challenged. It's like an able bodied person portraying a disabled body.
- 4:14I don't know, because there's been this uproar lately. Well maybe not an
- 4:17uproar, but there's been argument saying it's like, well, if you're not
- 4:21this thing in real life, then you shouldn't be portraying it in a role,
- 4:28which, when you say that out loud, is also kind of ridiculous
- 4:30because that's the whole point of acting. Yes, it's like, well,
- 4:36you know, Steve McQueen was not actually bullet. Yes, a straight man
- 4:46playing a gay man doesn't matter. He's not that person either. Away,
- 4:50but saying well you have to be gay to play gay or something like that.
- 4:54Well, that's at the end of the day. I don't know.
- 4:57I'm just trying to do birthdays. It's not even that. I mean,
- 5:00if you remember, we had the guy on who used to do the videos
- 5:03he and his brothers for the Retarded Policeman and that was twenty years ago,
- 5:08but people were still and he liked, like, that's was his thing.
- 5:13Ponce loved doing it, and you know, he wanted to be an actor.
- 5:17That was but people would still say, oh my god, you're exploiting
- 5:21him. And he's like, no, like yo. He was having a
- 5:25blast, but people were still complaining. So it's damned if you do,
- 5:27damned if you don't. It very much is and and that's a great example
- 5:30because that's one that's a that's an example I think about actually pretty often because
- 5:36this is how that all worked. Everything you said, Trey is one hundred
- 5:40percent accurate. And the additional wrinkle would be the people trying to look out
- 5:46for Ponce, who was the uh, the actor with down syndrome or traying
- 5:53the retarded Policemen and YouTube videos which were hysterical. He was in on it.
- 5:57He helped write them. He was the star of the show and everything.
- 6:00But those people that should that you're exploiting him. When at the same
- 6:04time, when he would clap back and say this this is my thing.
- 6:09I enjoy doing it, I help produce it, I write it, then
- 6:13they would say, well, you don't know any better. M hm oh
- 6:16wow, So now you just made it worse under the guise of trying to
- 6:20help. So at a certain point you just got to let people do what
- 6:25they do. And if you enjoy it, you enjoy it. If it
- 6:29offends you, then you know, go watch puppies running around in a meadow.
- 6:32I mean I don't know what to do. Yeah, I uh I.
- 6:39When you said acting, I was like, that's that's correct, that's
- 6:42what it's supposed to be. And I understand the argument of if there is
- 6:46a gay person that can play this gay character, then they should get that
- 6:49role. But if somebody's a better actor than you, yeah, then give
- 6:55it to them. I mean I think, well we can go back and
- 6:59look at them movie like Scarface and go, yeah, you know what,
- 7:02they probably should have put a Cuban in there. Yeah, had one,
- 7:12just fun, but they did. Angel Salazar is one of his right hand
- 7:20men in the show, and he's the one who trained because I know Angel,
- 7:25Angel trained Pacino to do that accent because that's how Angel talks. So
- 7:30al Pacina was just doing an impression of angels house. And it's not that
- 7:34he did he did, he didn't do a great job. I'm just saying,
- 7:38literally talking about a movie that really there are no you know, it's
- 7:42about you know, cocaine and whatever else, but oh there's there's hardly any
- 7:47Latin people in the movie. Yeah, yeah, you're right, because it's
- 7:50a movie that's supposed to be about a Cuban drug cartel and the cast is
- 7:54made up of mostly Italian Americans. I mean, if they remade the movie
- 8:00today, it would star Leonardo DiCaprio. I would still watch it. You
- 8:05damn right, I would. I would watch I would. I've realized also
- 8:09the other day I would watch almost anything with Leonardo DiCaprio. Yeah, he
- 8:13is. I didn't realize it, but he sneakily snuck into like my top
- 8:16five favorite actors without even mean, without even really realizing it. Sneakily snucking.
- 8:22Mm hmm. I like that, Raja said at the beginning of the
- 8:26show Let's Get stupid. That includes that includes my language abilities today. Uh
- 8:33so anyway, there are birthdays Dakota Fanning. It is thirty today. She
- 8:39started out and I am Sam. Most recently I saw her in Equalizer three
- 8:43with Denzel Washington. Yeah, yeah, that's if you if you have to
- 8:48fly anytime soon, that's a good one. That had that on the last
- 8:50flight I was on. That's one that'll make that's about just shy of two
- 8:54hours if I remember I fly by. Uh other birthdays today. We also
- 9:01have Emily Blunt, actress. She is forty one. She's the Rocks co
- 9:05star in the Jungle Cruise movie that nobody asked for. She was also Mary
- 9:11Poppins and Mary Poppins Returns. She was in the Devilwaar's product and lots of
- 9:16people love her for killing Tom Cruise over and over and over again. And
- 9:22actually what I think maybe one of Tom Cruise's finest films, Edge of Tomorrow.
- 9:26If you guys have not seen Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise and Emily
- 9:28Blunt, do yourself a favor. Do it. It's a great sci fi
- 9:31movie, all right, I have not seen it. Take my word for
- 9:37it. Even if you can't stand Tom Cruise, It's still worth it because
- 9:43it's a good movie and also because he dies like one hundred different times.
- 9:48I don't understand this argument of people that go, I don't like Tom Cruise,
- 9:50Like, what's not like? What's not to like about it? Like
- 9:54he's sometimes sometimes for people it's hard to separate the artist from the art or
- 10:01the person from the art. Yeah, I can do it. Like Tom
- 10:07Cruise completely shifted public opinion on him when he was with Katie Holmes and he
- 10:13went on Oprah and looked like a maniac in love. And then the worst
- 10:20thing was he goes on the Today Show and the Star prescription drug explaining to
- 10:28Matt Lauer and saying how brook Shields is wrong for postpartum depression and all these
- 10:33things. That's where it began. That's where it truly began. Where he
- 10:37was just a real prick and trying to separate the prick from his good work.
- 10:43For a lot of people, they weren't able to do it. It
- 10:46was a scientology thing, right, That's where he was getting that from.
- 10:50Yeah, well he's not with scientology anymore. He should and he can't for
- 10:54whatever reason, he won't come out publicly against it. Maybe it's because he's
- 10:58afraid they'll kill him. Yeah, I don't even say really that he's not
- 11:01part of the church anymore. Yeah, but that goes back to then they
- 11:05will kill you, Yeah, the church. He truly was out of the
- 11:09church and thinks, oh my god, these people are nuts and I shouldn't
- 11:13have I should never have believed these things. Yes, it would actually do
- 11:16him some good to get back on Oprah's couch and jump up and down on
- 11:20it again and say I hate Scientology, and I think that would win back
- 11:24a number of people. Yeah, but he would be like in the second
- 11:26jump and they'd be like, and then that would be a Scientology sniper got
- 11:31him exactly because the leader of their church right now, his wife's been missing
- 11:37for twenty five years and there's no search for her. So if that's the
- 11:41case, like David Misscaviatt's wife has been missing forever and nobody's seen her and
- 11:46not know that she's been missing for like twenty years, And I thought they
- 11:54would know she's dead. I thought that they kind of had her, like
- 11:56they locked away that one of their camps, that's what they and but nobody
- 12:03Her assistant hasn't seen her in twenty years. Hang on, this woman has
- 12:13been missing, yes, for over two decades, and she still has an
- 12:18assistant. Yes, hello, employee of the month. I mean, but
- 12:26it's just it's just a person who works for the church. You can call
- 12:30it an assistant, but it's somebody that works for the church. But nobody's
- 12:33seen her. So I'm like, sure. Tom Cruise is like, hey,
- 12:37thank you guys so much for everything. I'll politely f off. I
- 12:41won't say anything, y'all don't get me. Yeah, but that's how that
- 12:46I have to work. Are no joke. They will get you. Yes,
- 12:56A favorite The Edge of Tomorrow. Okay, speaking of Tom Cruise,
- 12:58I am a little nervous that they're now talking Top Gun three. Yeah.
- 13:03No, no, it's not talking. It's I think it's been confirmed that
- 13:07it is confirmed Top Gun three. Man. Oh, they're really rolling the
- 13:11dice on that one. Because I will admit I liked I liked Top Gun
- 13:15Maverick. It was good. It was it was It had a it was
- 13:18a little corny in a couple of spots, but I was ultimately fine with
- 13:24it. And I've seen the movie like three times, so obviously I enjoyed
- 13:28it. Yes, I don't know if there's more meat on that bone.
- 13:33I'm with you. I kind of think they should have let, you know,
- 13:37the sniper get him. They should have just let Maverick and Penny fly
- 13:43off into the sunset and ended that story. Now, yeah, we say
- 13:46that, And I didn't think he could do that good of a movie,
- 13:50you know, thirty five years later or whatever. So I maybe he can.
- 13:56Well, I mean, when you when when your love interest goes from
- 13:58Kelly McGillis to Jennifer Connelly, then that's a sequel worth watching. Es you
- 14:05look at current pictures. I think he's exc like he's the executive producer of
- 14:13Top Gun three. They haven't said, but they haven't not said, if
- 14:18that makes sense. They haven't said that he's in the movie or not in
- 14:20the movie and what capacity he's in the movie. But he is. He's
- 14:24the one that confirmed. It's like, as executive producer, Top Gun three
- 14:26is gonna happen. And I'm with you, I was like, what what
- 14:31ice is dead? Right? If you know what happened? Like if they
- 14:35made this movie about sundown, that would be so great Top Sunday, Top
- 14:43Gun three, The Sun Rises for Sundown. He gets to go from the
- 14:50back of the jet into the pilot seat. That's yeah, but you know
- 14:56that would be you know, Fi flying Rubber turns to Hon Kong probably that's
- 15:00what you know. What's what's Sundown doing? Now, Well, that's the
- 15:05whole point. There's got to be that the transformation the heroes journey. I
- 15:09mean, in the original Top Gun, Sundown was in the back of the
- 15:13jet and when Goose died, he immediately I get he was the only one
- 15:18available to fly with someone because he was the only one I guess without a
- 15:22partner to fly with. He's just waiting around for one of the white guys
- 15:26to die so we can get in one of the jets and participate in Top
- 15:28Gun. So Top Gun three, uh, Sundown it is as a pilot
- 15:33for Spirit and gets the call up. What I'd actually, I'd watch it.
- 15:41I would absolutely watch that movie. I want to see I want to
- 15:45see Sundown get Get get his shot. You don't I was, I was,
- 15:56I was. I was hesitant about Top Gun three. But you know,
- 16:00if they can if they can really move that story along, Yeah,
- 16:03I just don't know what the storyline would be. I don't know what it
- 16:07would be. It would have to center around Goose's son, Who's Who's apparent
- 16:10who apparently can fly now by the end of the especially because technically at the
- 16:15end of of Maverick he was retired. So yeah, that and then I
- 16:23saw the the premise for lethal Weapon five. Wow, No, there's no
- 16:30Lethal weapon five. Are you making this up now? I'm not. I
- 16:37first heard about it a couple of years ago. But then that Yeah,
- 16:42uh, Merton Riggs were retired, like and they retired to Miami as detectives
- 16:51or you know, it's like private detectives. I'm like, god, running
- 16:53scared. That's you know, you're getting really dangerously close. Well, yeah,
- 17:00but Murtag was saying in Lethal Weapon one in like nineteen eighty seven that
- 17:03he was sick of this shit. He was too old for this shit.
- 17:08Yeah, in nineteen eighty seven he's saying, I'm too old for this shit.
- 17:11And then by by twenty twenty seven, now when all of a sudden
- 17:18he wakes up and like, you know what I wasn't sicky of If I'm
- 17:21ready for more, I need a paycheck? What that is? Okay?
- 17:30So lethal weapon five top gun three? Okay, I did think and this
- 17:37is just my conspiracy theory that when the Super Bowl Arnold Schwarzenegger Danny DeVito commercial
- 17:44happened that they're setting something up for Twins two. I had read that they've
- 17:48been talking about that project for years. No, really, I just thought.
- 17:53I just thought I was really intuitive, like, oh my god,
- 17:56this is what they're setting up Twins right, let's let's not let's not burst
- 18:00Roger's belt. But yes, Roger, you're very intuitive. There was a
- 18:03successful film in Hollywood and no one ever talked about a sequel ever again until
- 18:07you thought of it. That's correct, Twins too. It should be called
- 18:15Twins too. Men o pause. Uh, just because the age like they
- 18:21shouldn't be able to it shouldn't be fertile, is what I'm saying. And
- 18:25no, no, that was a different But what was the other that was
- 18:26the one where he has the baby? I confused the two movies. I'm
- 18:30sorry, what's the one who Ronald Schwartzenekker has a baby or jor that's what.
- 18:38I don't know. What's more embarrassing, your menopause joke or the fact
- 18:41that I knew the answer to that question. I'm gonna I say we both
- 18:48take an l on that one. We should both get scientificy snipes. You're
- 19:00listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online that Treehouse on air dot com eight

- 19:18before I hit record, Daniel, you and I started having a conversation about
- 19:21artificial intelligence. You read something pretty cool this morning. Based on anything you
- 19:26read in that article about artificial intelligence, are you going to have AI helping
- 19:30you in the roofing industry? Ay? I mean there's so many advances in
- 19:33that. I'm kind of scared personally. I don't know what to I don't
- 19:37know if someday that I feel like there's a there's a movie a long time
- 19:40ago that computers were taking over the world, and I feel like that's the
- 19:44direction we're going. I'm just I feel like, one day I'm gonna wake
- 19:47up, I'm gonna come in here and log on on my computer. The
- 19:48computer's gonna be like, f you, Daniel, it's not your control anymore.
- 19:52Is the movie you're talking about where computers took over the world? Was
- 19:55that the terminator. No, no, no, no, there's just something
- 19:57else. This was. This was seriously. The computer was programming itself and
- 20:02it figured out how to be smarter than the humans. So it out smart
- 20:07at the human. And I can understand your hesitation with wanting to give artificial
- 20:10intelligence a hammer. You want to talk to a human, you get that
- 20:14human touch. You're in good hands, not robotic hands. Give Daniel Cook

- 22:37But it's it's it's a close. It's like it's like one A one b
- 22:41H. There was one other birthday that I wanted to throw out before we
- 22:45get to the violent stabbing in Austin recently, and that is Mark Price RAJ
- 22:55Trey. Do either of you know this actor by his name Mark? He
- 23:00is fifty six today. Do you know the somewhat famous role he played?
- 23:06No, Trey, I do not. We know him best as Skippy on
- 23:11Family Ties. Oh my god. Wow. Yeah. So now I have
- 23:18a follow up question for you. It is a mini version of something we've
- 23:22played in the trios for a long time, and that is would you rather,
- 23:27Raj Trey? Would you rather? I'm really bad for this and I'm
- 23:36kind of sorry if you had to trade lives right now with either Skippy from
- 23:44Family Ties or Michael J. Fox. Whose life are you taking right now?
- 23:49Michael J. Fowks shakey with money trade exactly. You want Skippy from
- 24:00Family Tie's life right now or Michael J. Fox life right now. I'm
- 24:06gonna go with Skippy. You're gonna roll the dice and go with the mystery.
- 24:10Uh income very interesting, Okay, I like it. I like that
- 24:15You're you're rolling the dice with the Skippy from Family Ties. But I had
- 24:18the shakes for years. I'll I'll go the other direction. Yeah, Trey
- 24:26already knows what it's like. Yeah, first time, Michael J. Fox.
- 24:30But do we know what Skippy's doing? Are you trading? Are you
- 24:33trading? Like Michael J. Fox living in the hills in Hollywood, but
- 24:37he's a little shaky over Skippy who could probably be working at a Wiener snifful
- 24:41right now, but he's got his steady hand, uh Hawk and Wieners.
- 24:48This is why I asked the questions. I really know. Let me see.
- 24:52Uh, I'm trying to see if there's something that says what Skippy is
- 24:57doing now. He expanded his career into television hosting. He was oh that's
- 25:03right. He was the lead on Disney Channel's game show Teen Win Loser Draw
- 25:07from eighty nine to ninety two. Wow. He was in Killer Tomatoes Eat
- 25:14France in nineteen ninety one. I'm sure you've seen it, so I wasn't.
- 25:22I have seen Killer Tomatoes one, but I have not seen them eat
- 25:26France. Oh okay, but I bet if I went to Pornhub, I'd
- 25:30find something else interesting that they might be eating. He actually seems to be
- 25:40still acting. In twenty twenty four. He is playing Mayor Thorny in The
- 25:47Girl Too. Oh yeah, how was The Girl one? Dan? Do
- 25:52you remember? Was it? Was it something you recommend? Hang on,
- 25:59let me me click on to see if I'm actually familiar with it. Hey?
- 26:03Also, he he is a member of the sitcom Legends Tour autograph signs
- 26:12with Marshall Warfield of Night Court and Jimmy Walker of Good Times. Wow.
- 26:19That is so he's in good company. Mm hmm, Well his autograph's worth
- 26:26more than ours. Yes, but I was. I was on a flight
- 26:30coming back from Las Vegas with Jimmy Walker and I know where he performs.
- 26:36And I call the club and I'm like, hey, you guys have Jimmy
- 26:38Walker this week. And they go, oh my god, is he on
- 26:41your flight? I go, yeah, they go, can you come a
- 26:44ride to the club because they forgot to pick him up. Uh. I
- 26:48was like, I'm not driving a fort Worth, Paul, I'm not going
- 26:51to do it. If Jimmy Walker yells out his catchphrase on a plane,
- 26:55does he get arrested. No, But if I'm sitting next to him,
- 27:03I do. Will said, all right, today is Fred Day, February
- 27:15twenty third, twenty twenty four, Earth days today. If you could,
- 27:26would you have sex with beer? Trey? I don't know if that goes
- 27:32against your uh, your sober lifestyle now I think it. But more importantly,
- 27:42why why would I want to have sex with something that really doesn't even
- 27:47taste that good? Like that would be the first time. Yeah, but
- 28:00I explain the why as I was drunk he couldn't taste yeah. Yeah,
- 28:07Trey sober now, so he doesn't have any good excuses, like when you
- 28:11wake up the next morning and you're going, yeah, you'll know why.
- 28:18No, there there actually is a vice. Dot Com did a story about
- 28:23a beer love toy for men. A company called Blush is selling a beer
- 28:30A company called Blush is selling a beer can sex toy for men. It
- 28:33looks like a sixteen ounce can but the inside is designed to, you know,
- 28:40mimic something else. Some people have resorted to calling the sixteen ounce cans
- 28:45pounders, so this kind of fits. I like it. The label on
- 28:52the beer can Love Toy is a take on the old Schlitz logo, which
- 28:56is kind of fitting. But the brand name is Shags Scchags. They have
- 29:03three different versions depending on your preference of beer style, laggers, ales or
- 29:08stouts, and they retail for forty dollars. Wow, okay, and now
- 29:15are you are you seeing the possibility of the dando? Oh, We've seen
- 29:21the possibility of the dando for years. It's just a matter of can we
- 29:23actually take something from our mind and make a real item out of it?
- 29:33And then once I start asking that question, I hear doctor Ian Malcolm Jeff
- 29:37Goldblin's character in Jurassic Park saying they were so busy concerning themselves if they could
- 29:49that they never asked themselves if they should. And that's one of the reasons
- 29:56why we've never actually made a physical actual dan. Though. Did you say
- 30:03the can is it's like modeled after Schlitz? Yeah? The logo is is
- 30:10what did they put like a rooster instead of the bull poking through or what
- 30:15you know what? I have not seen it, but it does also beg
- 30:21a different question. Uh, and and that is based on our alcohol of
- 30:26choice. So there's the story about the beer can love toy for men.
- 30:34But the three of us are not beer drinkers. Typically, we're liquor guys,
- 30:41right, So then based on your preferred liquor, that would be your
- 30:48love toy, all right, which is pretty ironic on two levels for Trey,
- 30:52one because he's sober now and two because that means Trey's love toy when
- 30:57he was drinking. Be Jack Daniels, Raj, what is your liquor of
- 31:07choice right now? It's it is whiskey? What brand? Uh? You
- 31:14know this is gonna say. I just walked into this, and but I
- 31:18have to say it, Bullet. You know what, though, yours is
- 31:25still better than mine, Raj, because if they made a sex toy out
- 31:30of my preferred liquor, I'd be having sex with Yakov smere enough. I
- 31:38don't know which one. I mean, you could be having what titas?
- 31:41So I don't know. Oh that is true, it could have been with
- 31:44titos. But after all of this thinking, it's like, where are the
- 31:48liquors named after women. It's really bad though, so at least you don't
- 31:59drink ships sailor Jerry's. But there's still an even worse whiskey choice out there,
- 32:06because there's a whiskey called Old Granddad, and I've tasted it and I
- 32:24got it more for the cork noise it makes when you pop it open.
- 32:30Now, someone as ask me you're talking about the Granddad or the bottle?
- 32:38Did it give you a dollar in the morning and walking to the school bus

- 33:22Both Colby and I worked kind of late on Valentine's Day and we knew
- 33:24that we were going to so we went to the movie theater and saw the
- 33:28movie Argyle and we had the entire theater to ourselves and it was awesome.
- 33:32I enjoyed the movie. And because Colby's mostly deaf and requires subtitles, he
- 33:37he napped. That works out. You had a theater to yourself, he
- 33:42got a nice, cool place to take a nap after a long day,
- 33:45and you got to see him be in peace and quiet. You know that.

- 34:45the headline again of a story I need to share with you, gentlemen.
- 34:52Do you think you guys are easily tricked? Oh? You're thinking so long
- 35:02and hard about that terrifies me. Yeah, I don't want to. I
- 35:07don't know if I wanted to admit it, but yeah, Trey M.
- 35:14I'm generally. I mean, I don't know how you could have worked on
- 35:17the show for a decade and say you're easily I mean, you're not saying
- 35:25without admitting I'm a dip shit. I'm gonna say no because I've had enough
- 35:30lessons and I'm skeptical enough, just not not. I don't know that you
- 35:35know the inquisitive nature of my mind other than are just the Pavlovian beating of
- 35:39the Russ Martin Show. No, it's from from our old radio days.
- 35:45We've been conditioned to have a really, really really strong guard constantly up.
- 35:51Yeah, and I do agree that you are skeptical by nature, and so
- 35:59I appreciate you Raj being so honest as to say that you don't want to
- 36:02admit it. But yeah, sometimes you're easily tricked, like it can happen
- 36:06to any of us, and you know, we never like to admit it,
- 36:08but it is possible. But I'm curious what either of you do.
- 36:15You think either of you would be tricked into having sex with another man using
- 36:22a sheet. No, I can be tricked. I'm not stupid. Two
- 36:31different things. Yeah, I think there's a dead giveaway. Good answer.
- 36:44So you weren't answering immediately because it was more you thought it was a rhetorical
- 36:49question. There's no way you're getting tricked into having sex with a dude just
- 36:51because he's got a sheet. No, well, there are two men in
- 36:55Canada who cannot say the same thing that you just did. Because a thirty
- 37:00three year old man in Canada has been convicted of sexual assault after he tricked
- 37:07two men, not one, but two men into having sex with him threw
- 37:10a sheet at his house. I want to know how he got caught.
- 37:16One guy simply pulled the sheet away in the first way. You know,
- 37:28I was like, no, it's a vagina. Eh, That's exactly what
- 37:34he did. So what happened was he met the men online pretending to be
- 37:37a woman named Angela. Then he'd invite them to his home for anonymous fun.
- 37:43But there were rules. There's no talking, and the men would not
- 37:46see him for her, and instead they would interact through a hole in a
- 37:52sheet that was hanging in a doorway. So some guy, you know,
- 37:57made a homemade glory hole. That's just so bad on men of Hey,
- 38:08there's got a hole in my door. You come, stick, you jump
- 38:10through it, and obviously you'll find somebody. No, it is, it
- 38:15is an amazing feat you you make a homemade glory hole in you any this
- 38:22guy made a homemade glory hole and he found two suckers. There was a
- 38:35sucking aloud but okay, uh, well no it was talking. Sucking is
- 38:40very different than talking. And since we're running with this theme of uh same
- 38:50sex relations and breaking the law, I'm going to uh continue down that path
- 38:54because at the beginning of the show I mentioned that there was a violent stabbing
- 38:59and Austin right, yes, well see what had happened was allegedly no,
- 39:08no, this is confirmed. A man was stabbed in the butt inside an
- 39:14LA Fitness men's locker room with a knife, really or with a Canadian what
- 39:22else are you going to use to stab another man in the butt? Oh?
- 39:25Wait, I hear it now. Well, stabbed in the butt by
- 39:37a guy from Toronto. It sounds like a made up story, but it
- 39:43is. It is in fact very real. Uh. There was a man
- 39:46in Austin sixty nine years old. He goes he goes to the LA Fitness.
- 39:52I'm not making this up. That's find the link here. Hang on.
- 39:57He goes to the LA Fitness and he's working out and another man requests
- 40:02to use the leg press machine that he is using. And the man using
- 40:08the leg press machine, the sixty nine year old suspect said no, you
- 40:12need to go find something else to do. The victim was eventually able to
- 40:16use the machine and he later came upon the sixty nine year old suspect named
- 40:23John Mackison, and there was an incident in the men's locker room. Mackison
- 40:32chased the victim and stabbed him in the butt with a folding knife that was
- 40:37four to six inches long. The man was able to flee on foot and
- 40:45find help at the front desk of the LA Fitness, where people surrounded him
- 40:50and protected him until the man went outside to get away, but before he
- 40:54went outside to get away. He asked the group protecting the man he had
- 40:59just stabbed in the butt, who else wants some? And he told an
- 41:06arresting officer, I just got out of prison for this. In twenty twelve,
- 41:15he pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was ordered to
- 41:19serve a ten year prison sentence. And he's now being held on fifty thousand
- 41:22dollars bond for doing it yet again. Well, I mean, that doesn't
- 41:30seem like four inches would be a deadly weapon. He's not in Canada.
- 41:40I think Texas is stretching the law. A bit violet tickling will get you
- 41:51prison time. But I tell you what, when you go back to prison
- 41:57as the butt stabber, I think you're gonna be uh popular, You're gonna
- 42:10get You're gonna get attacked with more than four to six inches. I can
- 42:14promise this is one of those times where I need a palate cleanser. Some
- 42:27old grandpa that some some yakov is that what that actually uh some some yak
- 42:37cough might actually oh god, that sounds even worse now in your contact.
- 42:45All right, I know I'm already at home, but I'm going home oh
- 42:57God. Thanks for hanging out with us inside the Treehouse on a Friday.
- 43:04A very stabby addition, we will see you on Monday for episode eighty inside
- 43:10the Treehouse. We'll see you then
