- 0:03Speaker 1: What all right out, yo yo, going to live from
- 0:08Speaker 1: Philly and simulcast on Philly Zoe w p yo Z channel.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's the bollume Tony Fools? Yo, yo yo? Who's here
- 0:20Speaker 1: with Tony Fool's going? Tony? You know, people are saying
- 0:23Speaker 1: this is a dead sports time because you know, they
- 0:26Speaker 1: say nothing's going on. You know, you see Skip Bayless
- 0:29Speaker 1: stephen A that they're struggling to come up with topics.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Of course Cowherd he just went on vacation. But for us,
- 0:37Speaker 1: same as usual. You know, content is no problem for people.
- 0:41Speaker 1: You know, we don't need any prep. You know, we
- 0:43Speaker 1: rolled in two minutes ago, turned on the mics. Here
- 0:45Speaker 1: we are, isn't that right? Though? Ready to go, let's go,
- 0:48Speaker 1: let's talk, no problem. Content comes easy. There you go.
- 0:51Speaker 1: But before we get into the show, we gotta do
- 0:53Speaker 1: a little quick business up top. The show sponsored by
- 0:57Speaker 1: the great people at Mike's Hard lemon made. Do you
- 1:01Speaker 1: drink lemonade without alcohol in it? What do you like? Ten? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 1: if you drink regular lemonade and you're above the age
- 1:10Speaker 1: of seventeen, that's just bizarre. Go watch cam Bas with
- 1:15Speaker 1: Jojo siwas something there you go? All right, Mike's hard lemonade,
- 1:19Speaker 1: the lemonade for adults and not weirdos. All right, we
- 1:22Speaker 1: got so much to get into today, so let's get
- 1:25Speaker 1: straight into our top story story. Alright. First up, there's
- 1:33Speaker 1: a problem in our business that's come to be known
- 1:36Speaker 1: as media bias. Now, if you know, for those of
- 1:39Speaker 1: you who don't know what media biases, you know, we'll
- 1:42Speaker 1: educate you because that's what we're known for in this business, right,
- 1:46Speaker 1: That's what we do on the show our audience. But
- 1:50Speaker 1: media bias is when you get slanted coverage of sports
- 1:54Speaker 1: that's totally divorced from reality. And this is why we
- 1:58Speaker 1: have no respect for lay is like Draymond Green and
- 2:02Speaker 1: Kevin Durant themselves to quote new media and giving us
- 2:07Speaker 1: this slanted podcast stuff they're doing out there. You know, Tony,
- 2:11Speaker 1: if I want an opinion on a basketball game or
- 2:14Speaker 1: what happened, the last person I want to hear from
- 2:18Speaker 1: is a player in the game, Isn't that right? Of course?
- 2:22Speaker 1: I mean, you know, this is what we're here for.
- 2:25Speaker 1: We're the only ones who can observe what really happened
- 2:28Speaker 1: in the game because we're watching the broadcast from a
- 2:31Speaker 1: camera seven de feet away from the court. That way
- 2:34Speaker 1: we can see the whole thing. Draymond Kevin Durant. They
- 2:39Speaker 1: usually have a tall basketball player in their face, so
- 2:41Speaker 1: they can't see anything that's happened. Why do you think
- 2:45Speaker 1: they need to study the film after the game. It's
- 2:48Speaker 1: because they were obstructed. They couldn't see because they had
- 2:52Speaker 1: tall people blocking their view. Old great points, Tony and
- 2:56Speaker 1: Draymond Green. What is he? We're bab We've got fourteen
- 3:04Speaker 1: years on him, fourteen years more experience. You know, we've
- 3:07Speaker 1: seen more basketball in our lifetime than he's seen in
- 3:10Speaker 1: double that time, triple that time experiences what matters. And
- 3:16Speaker 1: we have so much more viewing experience because not only
- 3:19Speaker 1: have we seen more games, we've seen more of the
- 3:23Speaker 1: games because we didn't have a defender blocking our view.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Terrific point, Tony. Alright, moving on to the sport of baseball,
- 3:32Speaker 1: where show hey o Donni continues to dominate the mound
- 3:36Speaker 1: and the plate, doing it as a picter and hitter.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And Tony, you know, we're also known in this business
- 3:42Speaker 1: for calling things early. That's what ends before everyone catches
- 3:47Speaker 1: on and acts like it was their idea in the
- 3:50Speaker 1: first place. Well, write this down people, grab a pen, paper,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know, hit record on cassettes, you know, whatever you
- 3:56Speaker 1: need to do, take it from us. By the yet thirty,
- 4:02Speaker 1: all baseball players will be required to hit and pitch
- 4:07Speaker 1: at a major league level, or they will be sent
- 4:10Speaker 1: down to the minors. Isn't that right? Though? One percent
- 4:15Speaker 1: gonna happen. You know, with these bloated payrolls, teams need
- 4:19Speaker 1: to find smart ways to cut costs and cut corners.
- 4:24Speaker 1: What smarter ways there than saying, hey, no more it
- 4:28Speaker 1: is lazy hit only ship. You better get on the
- 4:30Speaker 1: mound and give me eighty fucking fastballs today. Yeah, you
- 4:34Speaker 1: know I've said this for years, don't You've heard it
- 4:36Speaker 1: many times. I am sick and tired of these lazy
- 4:40Speaker 1: pitches who think they don't need to learn how to hit,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you know, And I said it at the time. You
- 4:45Speaker 1: remember this. The biggest chams in baseball history was on
- 4:50Speaker 1: the Baseball Hall of Fame elected Nolan Ryan. You know, okay, yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: he was okay at pitching whatever, you know, the seven
- 4:58Speaker 1: though hit his five thousand strike outs? What what what
- 5:01Speaker 1: did he do on offense? Never hit home runs? Now?
- 5:05Speaker 1: That did one ten for his career. One den how
- 5:08Speaker 1: did he even make the pros People always refer to
- 5:12Speaker 1: Nolan Ryan as one of the greatest pitchers. Why don't
- 5:16Speaker 1: they say he's one of the shittiest hitters. Can you
- 5:18Speaker 1: imagine if the great the kem Be Matumbo blocked a
- 5:21Speaker 1: shot and said, hey, you know what, you guys, go score.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit on the bench until the other team
- 5:28Speaker 1: has the ball again. That's what that lazy bum Nolan
- 5:32Speaker 1: Ryan was doing. Shameful behavior by Mr Ryan. You know
- 5:37Speaker 1: he has to look around that other pitchers who were
- 5:39Speaker 1: doing it the right way. You know, Madison Bomb gonna
- 5:42Speaker 1: nineteen career home run and of course Phillies legend, Steve
- 5:46Speaker 1: Carlton home runs and you know, how can we how
- 5:52Speaker 1: can we celebrate Nolan Ryan with his zero pathetic They
- 5:56Speaker 1: should really consider putting an asterick next to Alan Ryan's
- 6:00Speaker 1: name in the Hall of Fame. I won agree. Alright, Uh, finally,
- 6:07Speaker 1: we're gonna introduce right now a new segment on the show,
- 6:10Speaker 1: because we're always coming up with great segments on this show.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Very and this is how this is gonna work. I
- 6:17Speaker 1: will read actual headlines from the front page of ESPN
- 6:22Speaker 1: dot com. What's on the front page right now, and
- 6:25Speaker 1: then I'm gonna ask Tony if he gives a fuck.
- 6:28Speaker 1: The segment is called do you give a fuck? Alright? Tony?
- 6:35Speaker 1: You ready? Yeah, let's know it? Alright, Tony? First up? Oh,
- 6:39Speaker 1: Miss Rebels win College World Series. Do you give a fuck? No? Alright? Uh?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Matthew Wolf will depart p G A for Live Tour?
- 6:51Speaker 1: Do you give a fuck? Never heard of him? No? Okay? Uh?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Lebron one logo and cod sells for two point four million?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Do you give a fun? Don't know what that is? No? Okay?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Next one? Uh, Akuna can't put pressure on foot after
- 7:14Speaker 1: foul ball? Do you give a fuck? I can't put
- 7:17Speaker 1: pressure on myself to read that article? No? Okay? Finally uh?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Last point year, Tony Chun rallies past Thompson wins Women's
- 7:29Speaker 1: p G A. Do you give a fuck? You know?
- 7:32Speaker 1: While I'm happy for ing Chun to win her third major,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'm disappointed to see Lexi Thompson continue her unfortunate streak
- 7:41Speaker 1: of folding under pressure, but I do look forward to
- 7:46Speaker 1: seeing how she rebounds at this week's Twin Bridges Championship. Yes,
- 7:53Speaker 1: all right, then this has been on new segment. Do
- 7:55Speaker 1: you give a fucking day has also been on the show,
- 7:59Speaker 1: because that right, right job, you're kidding me speaking of you,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you'll give a fuck. I don't give a funk about
- 8:09Speaker 1: producing ja. What look, first, you said, Draymond Green is
- 8:14Speaker 1: twenty eight years old. Yeah, yeah, no, he's thirty two.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Draymond has been in the league for over ten years.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well it felt like ten years to me
- 8:25Speaker 1: between the time you started talking in the time you
- 8:27Speaker 1: just finished. Yeah, ten years is how much time you
- 8:31Speaker 1: have left until you actually hit puberty. Now that's no more.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Got him? Now what you said Nolan Ryan had no
- 8:41Speaker 1: home runs? Yeah, he actually hit two home runs in
- 8:45Speaker 1: his career. Oh yeah, well you're gonna need to run
- 8:50Speaker 1: home because after the show, I'm gonna chase you down
- 8:54Speaker 1: with my car. Yeah, and I'm gonna be leaning out
- 8:57Speaker 1: the passenger window with my bat and I can hit
- 9:01Speaker 1: much better than Nolan Ryan can. Yeah. Yeah, yeah good.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And then one more thing. What Steve Carlton he was
- 9:11Speaker 1: He was a good hitter, but he didn't hit home runs.
- 9:15Speaker 1: He did no, he hit thirteen. You're you're way off.
- 9:20Speaker 1: What was that? You're way off? You know, if you're
- 9:24Speaker 1: gonna work on a show like this. First thing, you
- 9:27Speaker 1: need to check out your connections, specifically one from your
- 9:30Speaker 1: brain to the rest of your body. Yeah, the computer
- 9:34Speaker 1: into the wall. Yeah, you know, you know it's gonna
- 9:37Speaker 1: be way off. Your head is gonna be way off
- 9:40Speaker 1: when Tony hits you with his bat. Yeah, I'm taking
- 9:46Speaker 1: you deep. You guys, continue to be completely unprofessional. You're
- 9:55Speaker 1: the one with the A O L dial up connection.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Get with the program. And by the way, you're the
