  There was a call up from AAA, had three calls he made

  overturned by challenges, but we'll take the win 8 to 4.

  Game two. It's frustrating.

  They were up four to two in the seventh.

  Bullpen couldn't get it done. They lost 5:00 to 4:00 because

  of the way everything else went. They are still the top Wild Card

  They could have increased that lead.

  It's three right now, but hopefully they can take these

  next two. I guess a double header

  back-to-back like that is always got to be tough.

  But then again, I don't know if it's tougher to have it

  We will keep you updated. There's a slight update on the

  Sixers and it's just playing out well because of the new Back to

  the Future we're recording. But apparently the word on the

  street is the Clippers and Sixers are back talking James

  Harden possible trade scenarios again.

  I guess because it's getting closer and closer to NBA

  training camp start, that's where that's coming from.

  No word on whether the Clippers are willing to budget or if the

  Sixers are willing to budget, but at least they're talking

  again and I feel that the sooner that this gets settled, the

  better. That way the team itself, the

  Sixers, can focus on moving forward and and starting their

  season. But we shall see.

  OK, today we are going to go back to 1919.

  And on this day wasn't a game as much as it was a trade.

  The Phillies traded good old possum Witted to the Pirates for
• 5:24
  one Casey Stengel. Now, you probably know Casey
• 5:28
  Stengel more as his. As the manager of the Yankees,
• 5:32
  he's a Hall of Famer, won 10 pennants and won seven World
• 5:35
  Series. But before that, he was a player
• 5:39
  in the in the majors he hit 294, had a 357 on base percentage in
• 5:46
  two seasons with the Phillies, played in 153 games.

  So I mean solid, not spectacular, not Hall of Fame
• 5:54
  worthy. Again, he made his his name more
• 5:58
  as a manager, but did play two seasons for the Phils.

  If you're wondering about good old Possum, he played five years
• 6:05
  in Philly. He hit 281 in 1915 on that
• 6:09
  National League Pennant team that went to the World Series.

  We talked a little bit about them and the collapse in the

  Baker Bowl the other day yesterday, but on this day in

  1919, the Phillies traded old possum Witted for one Casey

  Stangle. Now, I do have a bonus fact for

  you in 1921. This has nothing to do with this

  day, but I'm going to give you some some good old Phillies
• 6:34
  history knowledge there. The 1921 Phillies.

  We talked about them the other day, Saturday.

  They were one of the Phillies hundred loss teams, but they did
• 6:45
  feature 2 Hall of Famers on that team.

  Casey Stangle, who would go on as I mentioned to be a Hall of
• 6:52
  Fame manager. But there was also another Hall
• 6:55
  of Famer not in baseball and that was Earl Greasy Neal.

  You might know him better as the head coach of the Eagles who
• 7:04
  helped lead them to two World Championships in the late 40s,
• 7:07
  but just a quick bonus fact, there 2 hall of farmers on the
• 7:11
  team, neither one of them for the play on the field as the
• 7:14
  Phillies lost 100 games in 1921. All right, Speaking of those
• 7:20
  Eagles, it's time for our 31 questions in 31 days and

  everybody knows the the quarterback situation in Philly
• 7:28
  revolves around Jalen Hurts. But let's talk a little bit
• 7:31
  about the backups and what happens, God forbid, if Jalen
• 7:35
  gets hurt. And I think we talked a little
• 7:38
  bit about backup tight end yesterday.
• 7:39
  I think one of the biggest question marks of this team is
• 7:43
  the backup quarterback they brought in Marky, Marcus
• 7:46
  Mariota, who's on his fourth team now in five years.
• 7:51
  And the the, I guess, narrative around him last year was that he
• 7:56
  quit on the Falcons. Apparently he got benched in
• 8:00
  favor of the rookie Desmond Ridner and he decided that he
• 8:06
  was going to have his knee surgery because he was going to
• 8:08
  be benched. The team didn't really like that
• 8:11
  too much and because of that, those issues and the where this
• 8:17
  team is, I was kind of surprised the Eagles signed him.
• 8:21
  I am going to give Howie the benefit of the doubt on this one
• 8:24
  because he's earned it. But I think with the way the
• 8:29
  Eagles offense is, it is an upgrade over Gardner Minshew.
• 8:34
  Albeit he's not as fun as Gardner Minshew, he's a better
• 8:39
  running quarterback and will be able to run the RPOS better than
• 8:42
  what Minshew was. I also feel like this move was
• 8:46
  eight years too late. Remember the whole Chip Kelly
• 8:49
  thing? Do the deal and they everybody
• 8:52
  thought that he was going to trade everybody to get his guy.
• 8:55
  Marcus Mariota. Well, Marcus Mariota is now
• 8:57
  here. It's just eight years too late.

  I do think it's a significant upgrade over Gardner Minshew.

  The third spot is up. It's between Tanner McKee and
• 9:08
  Ian Book. I think McKee probably is going
• 9:13
  to remain on the team even if it's on the practice squad due
• 9:17
  to them using the draft pick on him this year.

  I have not heard. I'm anxious to see.

  That's one of the, to be honest. Like, this is one of the few
• 9:26
  questions and and one of the things that's going to make the
• 9:29
  preseason games this weekend interesting for for the Eagles
• 9:34
  is to see how the backup quarterback situation plays out.

  But I I think they're okay in a situation where, like last year
• 9:43
  if Mariota has to come in to finish out a game or do a spot
• 9:48
  start here or there. But like most teams if Jalen's
• 9:53
  out for an extended time, the Eagles are in trouble.

  I mean, I don't, I don't foresee a scenario where Mariota comes

  in like Nick Foles and leads them to a Super Bowl.

  I think those are are few and far between, but it's your
• 10:16
  backup quarterback. It's one of those guys where you
• 10:19
  hope you never have to see him play.

  I I do think we have a slight upgrade over where we were last
• 10:25
  year and I mean he runs the offense better, but I I don't
• 10:30
  know, it's backup quarterback. I mean he has starting
• 10:33
  experience. He's played for a couple teams,
• 10:36
  so give Howie the benefit of the doubt on this one and just pray
• 10:40
  that Jalen stays healthy. More on the Eagles as the month
