- 0:01$700.00 silver. Trust me, it's coming.
- 0:05Plus we've got some big warnings about what could happen here in
- 0:08the coming week. We're going to talk about that.
- 0:10We're going to go on a field trip all the way to China.
- 0:12We're going to go all the way to Switzerland and we got a lot
- 0:15more to cover and yes, we're going to talk about $700.00
- 0:18silver because if you don't believe that we can see $700.00
- 0:22silver during our lifetimes, you're probably in the wrong
- 0:26basement. I believe 100% when I look at
- 0:29all the facts, fundamental fiscal, everything else that we
- 0:32can easily see $700.00 silver. And I've got 2 reasons why we're
- 0:37going to share that in just a second.
- 0:38But first, a big warning. The markets are likely going to
- 0:42be extremely volatile tonight, Sunday night and into the coming
- 0:47week. I don't have a crystal ball, but
- 0:50I have a real knack for knowing when big volatility is going to
- 0:53hit and it feels like we could be in for volatility.
- 0:57So buckle up, butter cups. That could affect the precious
- 1:00metals markets, the general markets and everything else.
- 1:03Now, before we get into this $700.00 silver discussion, I
- 1:07have another warning for you, something we should all be very
- 1:10scared about. That tells us how overvalued the
- 1:13general markets are right now. The general stock markets where
- 1:17most people, the people have all their money right in the S&P
- 1:22500. And a big, big part of the S&P
- 1:25500 is dominated by tech stocks and in particular AI stocks.
- 1:30And wait until you see this chart be ready.
- 1:34Take your blood pressure medicine because guys, it is not
- 1:37pretty. This came from bar chart who
- 1:40said the AI bubble is hitting the same concentration level
- 1:45that resulted in the bursting of previous bubbles, including.com.
- 1:50And when we pull up this chart, they've already got it pre
- 1:53circled in red. You can see back in the 70's the
- 1:56Nifty 50 as a that would that that was like the big stocks
- 2:00back in the 70s. They call them the Nifty 50.
- 2:03Anyway, that was their percentage versus the S&P 500.
- 2:07You can see it right there, right where my arrow is on the
- 2:09left. The next one over was the
- 2:11Japanese market. During the 80's, the Japanese
- 2:14were taking over the world. They bought Rockefeller Center.
- 2:17They were, they were going to, you know, rule the world.
- 2:20It was, you know, nobody like Japanese cars, all that
- 2:23craziness. Anyway, at that point, their
- 2:26MCS, the Japan market as a percentage of the MSCI market
- 2:31was at the same level and then crashed.
- 2:33And that's the same thing, by the way, that happened with the
- 2:36Nifty 50. Then we go to the tech and
- 2:39telecom sector as a percentage of the S&P 500 in the year 2000,
- 2:44that was commonly referred to as the tech bubble.
- 2:48And as you see, it got to 41%, then it crashed.
- 2:51Where are we now on the far right side, right here.
- 2:55It won't work for me, I'm sorry. Anyway, this one where I'm
- 2:58circling that is the AI Big 10 companies as a percentage of the
- 3:04S&P 541%. See that 41 percent, 44 percent,
- 3:1040%, it's already started to come back down, but just be
- 3:13ready, OK? We want to stay abreast to
- 3:17what's happening in the general markets and it is a bubble by
- 3:21any. Trust me, I have a degree in
- 3:22accounting, I can read financial statements.
- 3:24I know how these markets work and we are in a bubble of all
- 3:28mother bubbles in the tech sector yet again.
- 3:31I could be wrong, but I think and I know that I am right on
- 3:35that. Now let's talk about silver.
- 3:37Let's talk about $700.00 silver. And like I said earlier, if you
- 3:42don't believe that you're going to see it during your lifetime,
- 3:45you need to find some other guy that hangs out in his basement.
- 3:48I don't know, maybe talks about $40 silver or $90.00 silver
- 3:53because I believe it's coming. And here's 2 reasons why.
- 3:57The first one we're going to look at is the mining ratio.
- 4:00And this is very important and very easy to understand, our
- 4:05friend Smooch says. It reminds us that silver is
- 4:09extracted from the earth at a six to one ratio against gold.
- 4:14OK, so there's 6 ounces of silver that are mined every year
- 4:18for each one ounce of gold. Gold at 4500 would make silver
- 4:23at that ratio over $700.00, even 150 if the ratio was 30 to 1.
- 4:30I'll explain more in a second. So yeah, real silver, not paper,
- 4:34should be 150 to 750 right now. Imagine gold goes to 6000, as
- 4:39has recently been quoted by Goldman, and we're going to talk
- 4:42about the big giant Swiss bank who's also talking about the
- 4:46same thing but just took out at but just look at the M3 money
- 4:50supply and you'll see are the M2 and we're going way higher than
- 4:53anyone expects $2000 silver. No problem.
- 4:57So what Smoot is talking about guys, is a very simple concept,
- 5:02right? You get one ounce of this.
- 5:05Here's a beautiful silver round from our friends at first met.
- 5:09You get one ounce of this for every Imagine I had 6 fingers
- 5:13and each one was an ounce of gold.
- 5:15I'm sorry, you get 6 ounces of this for one ounce.
- 5:19Imagine there's six of these here.
- 5:22Here's a 5 oz silver bar from First Met.
- 5:25OK. That's 6 ounces of silver,
- 5:28Bitter mind, each one ounce of gold, OK, But the price race, so
- 5:33the price ratio, right, should be 1 to 6, right?
- 5:37And if that were the case, the silver price would be well above
- 5:40$700.00. The price ratio isn't it's one
- 5:44to 60 or higher. I don't it's probably 63.
- 5:48Whatever the gold to silver ratio, it takes 63 ounces of
- 5:52silver to get just one ounce of gold.
- 5:55And if you just look naturally at what's coming out of the
- 5:58earth at a one to six ratio, right, people can argue that's
- 6:02what the price should be. But wait, there's more.
- 6:05Because consider the fact that of those 6 ounces of silver that
- 6:09are mined and silver is a monetary metal, just like gold.
- 6:12It was money before gold. Half of it is getting is getting
- 6:17consumed by solar panels, cell phones, car batteries, all that,
- 6:22all the industrial uses for silver.
- 6:24I mean, really the argument could be made it should be more
- 6:27like, like Smoot said, three to one or four to one.
- 6:30OK, but wait, there's even more because when we look at
- 6:34historical relationships of the silver price, right, the other
- 6:39parts of the market, we are so undervalued right now.
- 6:43And the important thing we're going to look at a chart here in
- 6:46a second is to remember these relationships go up and they go
- 6:51down, they go up. They don't ever go below 0 or
- 6:53anything like that. Take a look at this comparing
- 6:57the price of silver to the NASDAQ 100.
- 7:01OK. And this comes from, I want to
- 7:03give proper credit to Gratty. I believe it is.
- 7:06Yeah, Gratty commodities TA, big smart analyst, he says.
- 7:10I've been posting this ratio was bottoming length to post to the
- 7:14bottom below. And with silver's huge move
- 7:16lately, it is now broken out above the blue line.
- 7:20As I've been saying, these market opportunities are
- 7:22extremely rare, maybe once or twice in a lifetime.
- 7:27So make the most of it, OK? And what this chart shows, I'm
- 7:31going to get a different color here for you guys.
- 7:34We'll go with green. That'll stick out nicely is
- 7:37silver versus the NDX and the NDX is the NASDAQ 100, the 100
- 7:44biggest companies on the NASDAQ, as you can see, right, It's a
- 7:48ratio. You take the silver price and
- 7:50you divide it by the NDX index, OK, It's a ratio.
- 7:54That ratio has been really high back here.
- 7:57What is this in the late 80s, It was all the way up at like .05
- 8:02basically. You can see over here, OK,
- 8:05here's that back here, even in 2011, OK, we got up to what
- 8:10point O225, where are we now? We are at .003, OK?
- 8:19So if we just from where we are on this chart went up to this
- 8:23level point, O3, OK, that would be about right here.
- 8:29That would be a 10X move in the price of silver from our current
- 8:35price that we're at. That would be well over $700.00
- 8:39silver. It could go all the way up here,
- 8:42OK, which would be like all the way.
- 8:45I'll draw in there one more time for you up here into this level.
- 8:49That would be, who knows, right, 14115 hundred, maybe $2000
- 8:55silver. And with all the money printing,
- 8:57which we're going to talk about here in a little bit, you know
- 9:00that that ratio can change in two ways, right?
- 9:03The, the, the NASDAQ 100 could drop, right?
- 9:06And silver could remain the same or the NASDAQ 100 could go even
- 9:11higher and the ratio could go even higher, which could get us
- 9:16to silver prices, which are absolutely truly mind numbing.
- 9:20OK, let's see. I got some notes here I want to
- 9:23read through on this so and OK. Oh, yeah, that's the other
- 9:27thing. Here we go.
- 9:29One more very important thing to remember on this chart.
- 9:34This is what it hit in 2011. Was silver used in in industry
- 9:40in 2011? Yes, absolutely.
- 9:43OK, here's silver back here in the late 80s.
- 9:46Was silver used in industry during that period?
- 9:50Yes, absolutely. But nowhere near the level that
- 9:55it is being used right now in our world.
- 9:59OK, There is no, there's no way. Hold on one second here.
- 10:04There's no way that you can even compare the amount of silver use
- 10:10what I'm the point I'm making I'm struggling to make.
- 10:12Thank you for for sticking with me on this is the fact that
- 10:15things really are different now than 2011 19801988 when we saw
- 10:21those those that ratio extremely higher things really are
- 10:25different. There's less silver available
- 10:28and coming right of the easy silver is all gone.
- 10:33The other thing to remember, OK, so demand for silver from
- 10:37industry is much higher, but the even more exciting you got to
- 10:40think big picture about this stuff, OK, got to open our
- 10:44brains a little bit. The other thing that we can
- 10:46remember is that during that period from 2011 or from 2001,
- 10:52even through now 25 years, 30 years, nobody has been exploring
- 10:58for silver, OK? There's not a pipeline of new
- 11:02big silver projects coming online.
- 11:05Why? It's very important for us to
- 11:08remember the reason why, which is because the price of silver
- 11:11over that period of time was artificially suppressed, smashed
- 11:16down and kept artificially low. So there was very little
- 11:20financial incentive for anyone to go out or they couldn't.
- 11:24It was very difficult to raise money to go out and say I'm
- 11:27going to go explore for silver, right?
- 11:29That people that wanted to explore for silver would go to
- 11:32bankers and say, I want to raise $5,000,000 to, to go explore for
- 11:36silver. And they said, well, why would
- 11:38you want to do that? Silver's $15.00 an ounce or
- 11:41$20.00 an ounce or $12.00 an ounce.
- 11:44We're not giving you money to go explore for silver.
- 11:47That doesn't make financial sense, right?
- 11:49Because they had suppressed the, so the pipeline of future silver
- 11:53projects is, is very, very barren right now.
- 11:58And on top of that, on top of that, guys, we know this, but
- 12:02not everybody knows this. 70 to 80% of the silver that's
- 12:07produced in the world today is produced by accident.
- 12:16It's produced as a by product of copper mining, zinc mining, lead
- 12:21mining. OK, Only the visionaries, people
- 12:24like Keith Neumeyer from First Majestic Silver, that guy Sean
- 12:27Kunkuna used to be Dolly Varden, Gavin the guy, the guy from
- 12:33Silver 47. OK, there were the visionaries
- 12:36out there like exploring for silver when no one else was.
- 12:41BlackRock Silver's another one out in Nevada.
- 12:43So we, we're in for it. We're in for some very, very
- 12:45good times. And we're going to and on top of
- 12:49that, it's inevitable I'm going to get to that.
- 12:52Before I do it, I want to say thank you to channel sponsor
- 12:55Brixton Metals. They're a Canadian metals
- 12:58exploration company with four big projects in Canada and the
- 13:03United States. Of course, our friends at First
- 13:05Mining Gold. They're a development stage gold
- 13:08company in Canada. They have two huge projects,
- 13:11both with multi million oz each spring pole in Ontario and Du
- 13:15Parquet located in Quebec. You can learn more about both of
- 13:20them at their respective websites, brixtonmetals.com and
- 13:24firstmininggold.com as well. Look, here's the other thing I
- 13:28don't know. I got this with stars.
- 13:29I got all these notes to tell you guys about.
- 13:32I think the other thing that's going to push us is if we stay
- 13:36as the United States of America on the same path that we are on
- 13:40right now, OK, deficit spending, massive deficits going on right
- 13:45now on top of that, right, interest rates that are going to
- 13:48go higher, potentially increasing the interest expense
- 13:52on the massive amount of debt we have.
- 13:54It is absolutely inevitable. And we get a great example, a
- 13:58great a great piece of proof that that is indeed the case.
- 14:02Just last week when Jerome Powell himself, I'll get him for
- 14:06you. Hold on.
- 14:08Yes, this Jerome Powell, right, was speaking at Harvard
- 14:15University. And somebody asked him, one of
- 14:17the students, the last question, what's going to happen with all
- 14:21this national debt? And Powell said it is not
- 14:24sustainable. We cannot continue down the path
- 14:28that we are on. We are headed for doom.
- 14:30He said it right there. That guy said it.
- 14:33OK. And then I don't know if you
- 14:36caught this or not, you can go back and watch it, Google it,
- 14:39whatever, YouTube it, don't leave this video.
- 14:42I want you to be here and don't forget to subscribe, please.
- 14:45Upstairs, Susie. And I really appreciate you guys
- 14:49being down here, the basement dwellers.
- 14:51But the cherry on top that we got from Jerome Powell, the very
- 14:55end of his speech was he expressed, and you could feel it
- 14:59in his voice that he was fair. He said I've been trying.
- 15:02Nobody listens to me. He like he was like frustration
- 15:05with the leaders of our country that we are on a path of doom.
- 15:10He didn't quite use those exact words, but that's what he wanted
- 15:13to say, right? And that nobody is paying
- 15:16attention to him. That is the head of the United
- 15:19States Central Bank. OK, we could see silver, it's
- 15:23seven, $700,000 an ounce during our lifetime here.
- 15:28And here's a great example because this is I don't know if
- 15:31you've seen this chart, but this is absolutely jaw-dropping.
- 15:34This is a chart from Ash Crypto who has over 2 million followers
- 15:39on X 2 million right points out crash the Turkish lira, the
- 15:43country of Turkey, their currency has dumped 99.99%
- 15:49against the US dollar. This is the fate of every Fiat
- 15:54currency. I think this is it says right
- 15:56here, I didn't have time. I meant to look a six month
- 16:00chart of the of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.
- 16:04That is what every Fiat currency in the history of the world has
- 16:08a 100% history of doing. I loved it when our U.S. dollar
- 16:13was backed by gold and silver, right?
- 16:15It worked very, very well. And furthermore, consider this
- 16:19that chart compares that chart is comparing the the Fiat
- 16:25Turkish Lira to the Fiat paper. Like we just talked about this
- 16:30thing U.S. dollar. OK, that's like, that's like
- 16:34comparing the ethics of a of a bunch of people that are in a
- 16:37prison wing together or something, right?
- 16:40It's like comparing the the best horses in the glue factory.
- 16:43I'm not against, but you know what I'm saying?
- 16:46That's like comparing the the the five of the worst cars on
- 16:51the worst used car lot in the worst part of the city that you
- 16:54live in, right? That's like comparing one more
- 16:57comparison for you. Like like five guys jumping off
- 17:01the top of the Empire State Building and the guy that's
- 17:03falling the slowest says, hey, look, I'm falling the slowest.
- 17:06You get my point? That's where we're headed with
- 17:08that right now. War.
- 17:10Let's talk about war. You know, in this everybody's
- 17:13all upset about the fact that old gold went down, silver went
- 17:17down on the breakout of the of the war that's going on.
- 17:21And I don't like war, not a political channel, but you know,
- 17:24I'm not in favor of war and or anything like that.
- 17:27But this war that broke out in the Middle East and the fact
- 17:33that gold went down, silver went down.
- 17:34Let me tell you something, OK, short term noise, because that
- 17:39war, any war will be very supportive for the gold and
- 17:44silver prices #1 it increases the national debt.
- 17:48They're already calling for like a record 1.5 trillion, only 1.5.
- 17:53I mean, you know, crazy military budget going forward.
- 17:57It's extremely expensive. You've heard all the data on
- 18:00that. That only creates more money
- 18:03printing. Where are they going to get that
- 18:04money from? Right?
- 18:06They, they got to make it up. They got to borrow it, which in
- 18:09the end creates more money printing.
- 18:10But even more important, it increases inflation, no doubt
- 18:15about it, not just because of the oil prices going up, but
- 18:18because of the devaluation of the dollar as well.
- 18:21And when inflation goes up, that makes real interest rates go
- 18:27down because the higher, the higher, the higher that
- 18:31inflation gets, right? That eats away at any return
- 18:36that people are making on interest on their money.
- 18:38That's called the real interest rate.
- 18:40You take the prevailing interest rate, we'll say 4% for
- 18:45simplicity sake. Seems like that's roughly what
- 18:47you get in a money market account right now.
- 18:49You take that rate like, oh, I got 100 grand, I'm making 4%.
- 18:53I'm making 4000 a year. Well, you got to subtract the
- 18:56inflation rate. And if the inflation rate is 2%,
- 18:59well, you're in the money, right?
- 19:01You're, you're making 2% after inflation.
- 19:03But if inflation is 6%, right, that's how you get real interest
- 19:08rates. You subtract the inflation rate
- 19:10from the prevailing interest rate and inflation 6 and
- 19:14prevailing rates four, you're actually -2 that's called
- 19:18negative real interest rates. And if inflation goes to 10, OK,
- 19:23and Oh my gosh, the Fed raises rates from what, 3 1/2 to 5%.
- 19:28It doesn't matter. You still got right?
- 19:31You subtract the 10% from the 5% and you're still losing 5%.
- 19:36You still have a negative 5% real interest rate.
- 19:39That's why in the long run, ignore all the short term noise
- 19:43when it comes to this like war about gold and silver.
- 19:46And that's what drives gold and silver.
- 19:48I almost forgot to tell you that that's the most important factor
- 19:52anybody will tell you over the long run are negative real
- 19:55interest rates losing money on your savings.
- 19:59All right. On your, on your paper dollar
- 20:01savings. Against the inflation rate that
- 20:04drives gold, that is driven gold and silver for thousands and
- 20:08thousands and thousands of years.
- 20:10Next we're going to go to Switzerland.
- 20:12Excuse me and then my friends, then you come to the basement,
- 20:16hang out and subscribe to make upstairs Susie happy.
- 20:20We go on trips to Switzerland and then we're going to go to
- 20:23China. Before we do that, I do want to
- 20:25say thank you to channel sponsor.
- 20:28There they are right there first meant you can see them on this
- 20:31beautiful 5 oz bar as well. I love this 5 oz bar.
- 20:36It's really super cool. They got a whole host of like
- 20:40world class silver bullion products. firstmeant.com, OK,
- 20:45great prices, great selection, great service.
- 20:49And the best thing about it is the great feedback that we've
- 20:52received here at Ron's Basement from you, the basement dweller
- 20:57community. You guys have loved your
- 20:58interactions, the products. I mean, it really is a true
- 21:01premium retail experience. They're owned by First Majestic
- 21:05Silver, Keith Neumeyer's massive silver mining company.
- 21:09So the silver you get from First Mint goes from the mine directly
- 21:14to the Mint in Las Vegas, NV, and then directly to you.

- 21:35Like very important person. Thank you yourself.
- 21:38And then thank RB Ron's basement.
- 21:41VIPRB. OK, let's go to Switzerland.
- 21:46And why do we want to go to Switzerland, right?
- 21:49Everybody knows. Uh oh, hold on, here we are.
- 21:53Everybody knows the smartest bankers in the world are in
- 21:57Switzerland. I mean, remember if you grew up
- 22:00in the 70s or 80s, nineties like me, everybody talked about the
- 22:04Swiss bankers, secret Swiss bank accounts, right?
- 22:08They're the ones who are in the know.
- 22:11And one of their biggest banks is called UBS United Bank of
- 22:14Switzerland, I imagine. Don't quote me on that.
- 22:17But what we like more about UBS is what they are telling us
- 22:21about gold. And we got 2 highlighted
- 22:24paragraphs to share with you. UBS forecast gold, about $6000.
- 22:29Should you buy now UBS, one of the world's most respected
- 22:33financial institutions, and I'm on the wrong screen.
- 22:37Sorry, guys. There we go.
- 22:38Now we're on the right screen. I apologize.
- 22:40One of the world's most respected financial institutions
- 22:44argues in it. It's the latter.
- 22:46The Swiss banking giant set a gold price target of $6200 per
- 22:52oz for mid 2026. That's almost like Michael
- 22:56Oliver's $500 prediction for mid 2026 for silver.
- 23:00I digress. Easing to 5900 by year end?
- 23:04What? That's OK?
- 23:05Representing up to 41% upside from current levels in an
- 23:08extreme scenario driven by escalating geopolitical
- 23:13tensions. Yeah, it sure doesn't feel like
- 23:15that could happen, huh? UBS puts the ceiling as high as
- 23:21$7200 per oz for gold. You know what that means for
- 23:27silver? OK, Why are they saying this?
- 23:30They're talking about the Federal Reserve rate cuts.
- 23:32But we know that what really matters are the real interest
- 23:36rates, like we talked about earlier.
- 23:38Sustained central bank buying. Yes, the world central bank
- 23:40banks are buying gold hand over fist and record investment
- 23:44demand. On the risk side, we're going to
- 23:46talk about the negative UBS upside scenario of 7200 per oz
- 23:51assumes a sharp escalation in geopolitical tensions.
- 23:54The bank's downside case of 4600 is worth noting in context that
- 23:58gold recently traded near that level before its latest leg
- 24:03higher. If the Fed turns more hawkish
- 24:05than expected, a return toward that range is possible.
- 24:09I don't agree with that because like we said, the Fed, the Fed
- 24:12can raise rates, but if inflation continues at a much
- 24:16faster rate, it's not going to make any difference.
- 24:22Sorry guys. I'd take a water break though.
- 24:24UBS views this as tail risk, not the base case, so meaning that
- 24:29they don't really think that will happen.
- 24:31Now let's go to China, huh? Hold on a second.
- 24:37I apologize to all. I've been getting a lot of
- 24:39complaints lately. I apologize.
- 24:42I didn't ring the the gong. Gongs come from China.
- 24:45I love China. I love Chinese people.
- 24:49There's the gong for you. The old golden gong that always
- 24:52brings us good luck with the gold price.
- 24:54Hold on here one second. And oh, before we go to China,
- 24:59we'll go to our favorite analyst, then we're going to go
- 25:01to China. Let's go check in on Rashad and
- 25:04see what he's expecting right now.
- 25:07This is interesting in the gold market.
- 25:09And again, gold will drive silver higher.
- 25:13He points out something very interesting with the gold rally
- 25:17that we've been through. So the run through October run
- 25:20from October 2023 up to date, every consolidation is getting
- 25:25larger and the rally becoming steeper.
- 25:28Given the size of the present formation, the next leg up is
- 25:32going to be very steep and likely the biggest.
- 25:35And what he's telling us or showing us on this chart is
- 25:39this. As you can see, right, these are
- 25:41consolidation periods that we've had in the run up their wedge
- 25:45patterns. There's one, there's two,
- 25:49there's three, OK, went up 20% after the first one, went up 30%
- 25:55after that one. This one we went up 65%.
- 25:59But as you can see, we are back in a wedge pattern.
- 26:02We did break below barely there. But I think from ATA analysis
- 26:05that doesn't matter. What he's saying is look,
- 26:08they've gotten looks, look how small that one is.
- 26:10They got bigger, they got the wedges have gotten bigger and
- 26:15bigger and bigger in the resulting price increase went
- 26:19got bigger as well from 20 to 30 to excuse me, 65%.
- 26:26So that's what granny's saying. I think he's talking about
- 26:29imagine my computer screen goes up twice as high.
- 26:32I think he's talking about numbers like $8000 gold or
- 26:36higher. OK.
- 26:37And as we know, gold continues to be gobbled up.
- 26:40We got this good news about China.
- 26:44China gold and silver demand are both back and rising in March.
- 26:49OK, here we go. These are the Shanghai Gold
- 26:52Exchange. This is.
- 26:55Is this silver? Hold on.
- 26:57Yeah, Now this is gold. I apologize.
- 27:00Top one is gold right there. Won't let me draw on the screen.
- 27:04As you can see, March is going back up.
- 27:06Very steady down here. We see silver again.
- 27:09The furthest right bar also on an upward tick.
- 27:12But so we're hearing of all these crazy stories from China.
- 27:16I'm going to, we're going to go negative here for a second, OK,
- 27:20about China because we like to do fair and balanced reporting a
- 27:24pretty negative story about silver in China.
- 27:27And then we're going to go on a little field trip together to
- 27:30our favorite place that should buy gold and silver market and
- 27:33see what's happening there. But first, let's check this out.
- 27:37This came out over the weekend and was a story about how silver
- 27:42crashes. OK, this is this is from a
- 27:45channel called China Observer. So consider the source, but
- 27:48listen to this lady. I guess she's an influencer in
- 27:51China talking about how she's lost money on silver her.
- 28:00Grants on January 25th. Now it's now we're on the right
- 28:03screen. I've already lost over 500,000.
- 28:06Why does it always drop as soon as I buy it?
- 28:08Did I big Ting Ting single handedly bring down?
- 28:11Big Ting Ting, does her story sound familiar?
- 28:17So many people say that, and I'm guilty of saying it myself
- 28:20sometimes. Every time I buy a stock, every
- 28:22time I buy this, that it all, the price always drops.
- 28:25You think it'd be a good story? Big Ting Tang are a good
- 28:28strategy to wait. OK, back to Big Ting Tang for a
- 28:31few more seconds. The entire precious metals
- 28:33market. It's her fault she's called Big
- 28:35Ting Ting, a silver trading Blogger from Tangsha City.
- 28:39Over the past few months, her name has become well known in
- 28:42the precious metals investment circle.
- 28:44However, this Jane came at the cost of a huge losses paid in
- 28:48real money. It drops as soon as I buy.
- 28:50This helpless statement echoes the feelings of countless small
- 28:53silver traders. She bought at the high of CN¥35
- 28:56per gram, only for silver prices to start falling afterwards.
- 29:00Based with her shrinking account balance, her only choice seems
- 29:03to be averaging down, but each time she did, it only sank her
- 29:07deeper into losses. I bought at 35, then averaged
- 29:14down. Maybe every step I took was
- 29:16wrong, but I had no way out. I had to keep moving forward.
- 29:20I can only change my mindset and welcome a new life on this path.
- 29:24I hope those who are stuck with me will live happily every day.
- 29:27I wish we can all breaks free soon.
- 29:29Let's go. And that doesn't comfort her
- 29:31saying look at the people who bought properties a few years
- 29:34ago. They lost even more than you.
- 29:36Yeah. OK, so and then there's a couple
- 29:38other stories about people who lost money or, or they haven't
- 29:43lost money. That's what I want to say to my
- 29:44friend Big Ting Tang from all of us in the basement.
- 29:47We talk about this all the time. If you're going to buy silver,
- 29:51buy it as a generational investment.
- 29:54Don't buy it with money that you think you're going to make in a
- 29:56week or a month or whatever the case may be.
- 29:59OK Buy it because you fundamentally understand the,
- 30:03the, the concepts behind Fiat money systems, paper money,
- 30:07right? Money printing, inflation,
- 30:10preserving your wealth over a long period of time.
- 30:13Big Ting Ting. And I have to remind myself of
- 30:15this as well. Like look, Ron from the basement
- 30:19and you our viewer, right? This is a long term process of
- 30:24preserving wealth. You know, if you want to be a
- 30:26trader, no problem. I have no, no qualms.
- 30:29People do whatever they want. Most people who try to trade
- 30:32anything in and out, make a quick buck, wind up losing.
- 30:36It's a long term prospect. And we talk about this all the
- 30:39time, guys. Volatility, Silver in particular
- 30:42can be very volatile, right? Like that January 28th or 29th
- 30:47day where silver went down 4050, whatever it was per oz OK.
- 30:51But but over a long period of time, if you believe in the
- 30:56fundamentals of silver and you believe in the numbers that back
- 31:01it up, silver will maintain wealth and so will gold, much in
- 31:06my opinion, much better than than than almost any other
- 31:10assets that are out there and available.
- 31:12And just because now we heard how horrible it is for people in
- 31:15China, let's go to the let's go to the big major Chinese silver
- 31:20and gold market. Our friend David Lee has a video
- 31:23clip from the Shenzhen Shubai market, which is like I think
- 31:27the biggest gold and silver market in China.
- 31:29The gold jewelry prices 5400 gold bars 4850 a Troy oz silver
- 31:36jewelry selling at $101.00 per Troy oz.
- 31:40Now it's very important to remember those prices include
- 31:44value added taxes. OB 80s jewelry price includes
- 31:49craftsmanship as well. So we aren't saying the price of
- 31:52silver's at $101.00 in China right now, but we do know that
- 31:57the actual price for physical metal in China is recently been
- 32:01hovering around $10 per oz more on the Shanghai Gold Exchange
- 32:07versus the LBMA in London, England, where we derive our
- 32:11spot price. But let's watch, let's go, let's
- 32:14go for a 24 second. We're going to, we're all going
- 32:16to go here together someday. This is the the Shubai market in
- 32:20China. And you, you judge for yourself
- 32:23if people are actively pursuing silver and gold.
- 32:50Are you? The gong fell over.
- 32:55All right, guys, I don't know about you, but to me it looks
- 32:58like the Shoe Bay market is quite, quite busy and I can't
- 33:01wait to go there someday. Maybe we'll be there together.
- 33:04What I do know is that we're together right now down here in
- 33:08the basement, an incredible community of people on behalf of
- 33:11myself and upstairs, Susie, we love you.
- 33:13Thank you for being here. If you celebrate Easter, we hope
- 33:16you had a great, great, great Easter.
- 33:19Please, we'd love for you to come back.
- 33:21Subscribe to the channel. Give the video a thumbs up.
- 33:24It's not too late to do that. Press that thumbs up button.
- 33:26Leave a comment in the comment section.
- 33:28Trust me, you can pretty much say whatever you want, OK,
- 33:32Right. OK, Be respectful, please.
- 33:35We always, you know, look, I, I have my opinions.
- 33:38You have your opinions. We all have our differing
- 33:40opinions. It gives us an opportunity to
- 33:42learn from each other. OK?
- 33:44So leave a comment in the comment section.
- 33:46And thank you for being here. Take care of yourself.
- 33:49You're important. And we'll see you.
- 33:52And yes, I see you. We'll see you.
