- 1:39dated January twenty seventh. Luke Bryan announces thirty plus city
- 1:43twenty twenty five Country Song Came On Tour. Luke Bryan
- 1:48might be coming to a city near you in twenty
- 1:50twenty five. The country music superstar has just unveiled plans
- 1:53to embark on a brand new thirty plus city tour
- 1:56this summer, dubbed the Country Song Came On Tour. Throughout
- 2:00his successful career, of course, Brian has performed over fifteen
- 2:03million fans, and he set to build on that already
- 2:06impressive number with his next run that kicks off May
- 2:08twenty ninth and runs through August thirtieth. He is scheduled

- 2:33select dates, and d J Rock on all dates. The
- 2:37upcoming tour is named after the Georgia Natives recent single,
- 2:39Country Song Came On, which impacted country radio on November eleventh,
- 2:43and appears on his eighth studio album, Mind of a
- 2:46Country Boy. The entire fourteen track project centers around Brian's
- 2:50rural roots and his family, and this particular song fits
- 2:53perfectly into that theme as it pays tribute to his
- 2:56passion for true country music storytelling. Fans will get to
- 2:59hear his I had a log of party anthems and
- 3:01twangy hits throughout the entire twenty twenty five headlining run.
- 3:05Two weeks before the Country Song Came On tour launches,
- 3:08Brian will bring his annual Farm tour to the West
- 3:10Coast for the first time. He set to play three
- 3:12shows in California on May fifteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth. Tickets
- 3:17for the Farm tour on sale now, and tickets for
- 3:20the Country Song Came On tour go on sale beginning
- 3:23this Friday. And there will be on one showing near us.
- 3:27One concert that will be in Cincinnati and that will
- 3:31be I Lost It Here Here We Go August first
- 3:33at the River Bend Music Center. Next. Lane co shares
- 3:38the stories behind their raw and real new album, We're
- 3:41Gonna Make It. Lane Coo has returned with their first
- 3:45full length project since twenty eighteen's award winning debut album,
- 3:48Halleluja Knights, Out now via Riser House Records, is their
- 3:52sophomore album, We're Gonna Make It. This fourteen track collection
- 3:56marks a powerful comeback for the band, delivering a heartfelt
- 3:59dose of When Lanko started building out their newest project,
- 4:03they quickly realized that there was a recurring theme of
- 4:06reflection and nostalgia las through the songs that touched many
- 4:08of their real life events. Lead vocalist Brandon Lancaster shared
- 4:12with Country Now that the themes of honesty and resilience
- 4:15woven through the album weren't intentionally planned, but came together
- 4:19organically once the track or title track was recorded, their
- 4:23newest body of work finally felt complete. It was one
- 4:27of those things where there was this theme that started unraveling,
- 4:30because when you start a record, at least for us,
- 4:32you kind of start writing and the songs just start unfolding,
- 4:35he shared. And when we started getting towards the end
- 4:37of the record, realizing there was kind of this theme
- 4:39of real life stuff and stuff that we had been
- 4:42through and touching on these things, but there was always
- 4:45this thread of hope and this spread of perseverance. And
- 4:48then when we recorded We're going to Make It, which
- 4:50we'd actually written earlier but we recorded at the end,
- 4:53it was like, oh, I think this sums it up.
- 4:55Whether it's Low Class Lovers or Honey, I lost my
- 4:58job today, or any of these songs, it's the ultimate
- 5:00idea that with that person hand in hand next to you,
- 5:03that you're going to make it through this valley. While
- 5:05they didn't have a clear idea of the direction of
- 5:07the album taking it at the beginning, they made it
- 5:10a point right from the start to pour complete honesty
- 5:12into their songwriting in hopes of connecting with their fans
- 5:15in a deeper way. I like to say that even
- 5:17though you do meet greets, do meet and greets, you
- 5:20get to meet fans every now and then, the biggest
- 5:22way they get to know you is through your music.
- 5:25And so it really is a thing where it's like, hey,
- 5:27we're putting out this record and it's been a long
- 5:29time since people have heard from us. We need to
- 5:31let them know what we've been up to, and so
- 5:33it kind of became this autobiographical thing that became important
- 5:37to us. Among the fourteen tracks are previously released singles
- 5:41and fan favorites like Low Class Lovers Sound of a
- 5:43Saturday Night. In their latest single, we Grew Up Together
- 5:46featuring Grammy nominated Christian artist Corey Asbury, Penned by Brandon Lancaster,
- 5:51Chandler Baldwin, Trip Howell, and Jared Hampton along with Corey Asbury,
- 5:55we Grew Up Together adds an extra dose of sincerity
- 5:58to the collection, since the group combining their experiences with
- 6:02parenthood and celebrating the growth that comes along with that journey.
- 6:05We kind of started talking about life, and Corey started
- 6:08talking about how he had a kid and I had
- 6:11a kid, and we just started talking about families. Then
- 6:14he mentioned that his kid was like sixteen. Now we're
- 6:16the same age. I was like, oh, whoa, you started
- 6:18way younger, and he did start young. He was like, man, yeah,
- 6:21we kind of grew up together. And when he said that,
- 6:23I instantly resonated with it, because although I was older
- 6:26than him when I had my first kid, we had
- 6:28the exact same experience, this kind of experience of hey,
- 6:32it's time to figure life out. Lancaster explained, you think
- 6:35you're a grown up and then you have kids, and
- 6:38it's kind of a different kind of a grown up.
- 6:40These powerful lyrics dive headfirst into the idea that a
- 6:43parent is leaning up or learning right alongside their kids
- 6:46and trying to grasp the understanding that even though they
- 6:49were responsible for raising that child, they're not perfect. Lancaster
- 6:53eded that while writing we grew Up Together, it felt
- 6:55as if they were simultaneously penning a letter to their kids.
- 6:59God forbid if if anything happens, it's like, here's this
- 7:01letter of hey, I wasn't perfect. And even people that
- 7:03don't have kids, I think it's also important that we
- 7:06look at their parents and think, wow, this was grand
- 7:09wise people when they're younger, and then you grew up
- 7:11and realize they were just people. It's a really special song,
- 7:14and that's been a fun one to see people resonate
- 7:16with and share their stories of either their parents or
- 7:19their own experiences in parenthood. The same sentiment comes alive
- 7:23in the accompanying music video, featuring real life footage of
- 7:25the chart topping band with their children, including many of
- 7:28those milestone moments of growing up. Fans can expect to
- 7:32see a mix of these heartfelt moments, as well as
- 7:34plenty of rocking anthems throughout Lane Cos. We're going to
- 7:37make it tour twenty twenty five. The trek begins February seventh,
- 7:41that's twenty seventh in Minneapolis, and it's currently set to
- 7:44run through March, with additional dates to be announced soon.
- 7:47We were in the studio pretty much all of last year,
- 7:50so this is the first time that we're actually getting
- 7:52on a bus and going and doing a tour in
- 7:54support of this album. So we're really ready to get
- 7:56out there and we're excited, said Lancaster. The tracklist for
- 8:00Lane Co's new album Beer with Younger Me Memories, we
- 8:03Didn't Know Where I Belong, You'll Always be Me sound
- 8:07of Saturday Night, Come Over, honestly, I lost my job today.
- 8:10Now that's honey, I lost my job today, along being honest,
- 8:14Low class Lovers, Last Call Leaving looks good on you,
- 8:17Million Dollar Memory, We Grew Up Together featuring Corey Asbury,
- 8:21We're Gonna Make It, and Nothing That You Could Do.
- 8:24Next up. Five fun facts about Kane Brown's new album,
- 8:29The High Road. Kane Brown has presented fans with his
- 8:32most personal and unapologic project to date, The High Road.
- 8:37This eighteen track project, developed over the course of two
- 8:39years amid a chaotic touring schedule and responsibilities as a
- 8:43dad of three, is finally out now via Sony Music.
- 8:46Nashville fans may think they've gotten to No Brown through
- 8:50his music, but this album peels back the curtain even further,
- 8:53offering a raw and reflective glimpse into his past, present,
- 8:56and hope for the future. Each of these meticulously crafted
- 9:00song showcase a new side of Brown's artistry as he
- 9:03digs into valuable life lessons and powerful emotions, several of
- 9:06which include star studied collaborations. The album finds Brown teaming
- 9:10up with Brad Paisley on Things We Quit, reuniting with
- 9:14Khalid for Rescue, and tapping jelly Roll for Haunted. Plus,
- 9:18he also got back into the studio with his wife
- 9:20Caitlin on two tracks, including d us Apart and previously
- 9:25released Body Talk. In anticipation of the project coming to
- 9:28life on Caine Brown's upcoming The High Road tour in March,
- 9:32The Country Now has compiled five fun facts about his
- 9:35newest project to help showcase just how much work and
- 9:37thought went into the collection. Brown and first of all,
- 9:41Caitlyn Brown wasn't originally on Body Talk. Brown and his
- 9:43wife caused a frenzy among fans when they delivered their
- 9:46first ever collaboration, thank God, back in twenty twenty two.
- 9:50The single went on to become number one on country
- 9:53radio and remains a staple in the Singer Songwriters live shows.
- 9:57After seeing that that song earned such high praise, the
- 9:59husband and wi decided to come together on two more
- 10:01songs for the album. However, according to Brown, she was
- 10:04only supposed to be featured on due us Apart and
- 10:07not Body Talk. Body Talk was originally supposed to have
- 10:11another artist on it, and then she heard it and
- 10:13was like, what this is such my vibe, she shared,
- 10:16so of course she can be on it. Caane Brown
- 10:20thought Jelly Roll hated him. Now they have a duet.
- 10:23Over the years, Kane Brown and Jelly Roll have used
- 10:25their musical talent to bring awareness to the importance of
- 10:28mental health, each drawing from their own fair share of
- 10:30personal struggles and internal battles. We hear about these moments
- 10:35of intense turmoil and their powerful new duet Haunted, and
- 10:38it's clear the pair of country stars are strong supporters
- 10:40for each other. But it turns out they didn't hit
- 10:43it off right away. In fact, Brown revealed the taste
- 10:46of country that he was told it saved me. Singer
- 10:48hated him at first. I heard of him before he
- 10:51had ever gotten in the country industry because I was
- 10:54hanging out with some other guys that were in the
- 10:55world that Jelly was in. We had the same kind
- 10:58of background, said Brown, before adding up our buddy Taylor Phillips.
- 11:01He told Jelly so Jelly will tell you this, he
- 11:03hated me. The fiddle in the band's singer attests that
- 11:06it must have been his quiet nature in his early
- 11:08career that led Jelly Roll to feel this way. In
- 11:11an effort to shut down any confusion, Brown reached out
- 11:13to the fellow artist Taylor ended up telling me the story,
- 11:17so I ended up reaching out to Jelly. I was like, hey, buddy,
- 11:20this industry's crazy. If you ever need to sit down
- 11:22and talk to me or play cod I play a
- 11:24lot of Call of Duty, you can come and talk
- 11:26to me about it. Brown said. The pair did, in fact,
- 11:29ending up getting together to play a video game and
- 11:32quickly formed a friendship that now finds them messaging all
- 11:35the time and even random facetimes at three am. Fan
- 11:39encouragement led Brad Paisley to be featured on Things We Quit.
- 11:42Things We Quit as a pretty stacked lineup of songwriting
- 11:45credits by Hardy Morgan, Wallen, Jesse Fraser, Josh Osborne, and
- 11:50Brad Paisley. To Brown's surprise, none of these artists songwriters
- 11:53decided to cut it for their own catalog, so he
- 11:56was quick to snatch it up. After recording it and
- 11:58posting a few teasers to ends, his fans pointed out
- 12:01that they may need some added vocals, and they had
- 12:04one artist in mine, Brad Paisley. I recorded this like
- 12:07a year ago and put it on my Instagram and
- 12:09all the comments where it sounds like a Brad Paisley song,
- 12:12Brown said while speaking with host Cody Allen on Sirius
- 12:15XM's The Highway to kick off the new six fifteen
- 12:18studio Sessions presented by Wayfair. This ended up being a
- 12:22full circle moment for Brown, who recalls seeing Paisley in
- 12:25his first ever concert. I didn't even call him. I
- 12:27told Dan Hoff, my producer. I said, see if you
- 12:29can get Brad on it. And I was on the
- 12:31golf course and he said, we got Brad on it
- 12:34and he played the solo on it as well. Full
- 12:36circle moment because Brad was a big inspiration for me
- 12:38coming up. Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood inspired the track
- 12:43do Us Apart, Kane Brown's second collaboration with Caitlin Brown
- 12:47on the album Do Us Apart, is another heartfelt showcase
- 12:49of their love. What makes it even more special is
- 12:52the fact that it was inspired by Brown's love for
- 12:54traditional country music storytelling, particularly in his go to karaoke
- 12:59song if I Told You So, by Carrie Underwood and
- 13:01Randy Travis Do Us Apart? We always take Carrie Underwood
- 13:06and Randy Travis version if I Told You So so.
- 13:08We were trying to write a song close to that,
- 13:11he shared on Robin Holly's Friday Night Takeover. We wrote
- 13:14it and she loved it and jumped on it. Brown's
- 13:18Stay is a reimagination of Sugarland's two thousand song of
- 13:21the same name. Throughout the high Road, Brown pays homage
- 13:25to members of his family in various ways. He celebrates
- 13:29his undying love for his wife on Dewis's Apart, illustrates
- 13:32special moments as a dad on Backstreet Driver, remembers his
- 13:36that's Backseat Driver, He remembers his grandfather's resilience on When
- 13:40You Forget, and even reimagines his mom's favorite song with Stay.
- 13:45During a recent interview, he recalled his mom's passion for
- 13:47the tune recorded by Sugarland in two thousand and seven,
- 13:51and then explained how he discovered his own desire to
- 13:53introduce the original tune to a new generation of music lovers.
- 13:57That was my mom's favorite song back in the day,
- 14:00tells Billboard. What's funny is the two writers I wrote
- 14:03with had not heard the Sugarland version before I got
- 14:07this feeling like I'll be showing another new generation this
- 14:09song and their parents will be like, oh, he took
- 14:12it from this song and hopefully they will go back
- 14:14and discover the original stay, which I think is really cool.
- 14:18Kane Brown's The High Road is out now moving along.
- 14:22Parmally falls for a Cowgirl in new single. Parmelee previews
- 14:27their just announced album Fell in Love with a Cowgirl,
- 14:30with a new high energy single titled Cowgirl. Benned by
- 14:34the four piece group alongside David Fanning, James Daniel Lewis,
- 14:37Peter Daniel Newman, Robbie j and Thomas Frank Ridley Hoarsely,
- 14:41the fresh release presents listeners with a spirited country love
- 14:44song that doubles as a feel good party anthem. Traditional
- 14:48country storytelling is at the core of this track, but
- 14:51Parmally gives it a modern twist as they illustrate the
- 14:53moment a guy falls head over heels for someone unexpected.
- 14:57Their rebellious spirit comes alive right beginning in the very
- 15:00first verse, when we see the love struck man start
- 15:03to fall for her cowgirl ways while watching the woman
- 15:06sip on bud light listen to Morgan Wallen's Last Night
- 15:09and two Step across the Dive Bars dance floor. It's
- 15:12clear that her southern charmers made a lasting impression on
- 15:15his life. I fell in love with a cowgirl. I'm
- 15:18following her curves like a back road, the way she
- 15:21fit in them. Levi's makes a man want to go home.
- 15:23I only came for a minute. Now she makes me
- 15:25want to live it. Yeah, her southern charm ain't no joke.
- 15:28Thank God for the Cowgirl. I fell in love with
- 15:30a cowgirl and I ain't coming home. Palmley sings as
- 15:33the chorus, gives listeners a heavy dose of their swagger
- 15:36filled vocals. While reflecting on the story behind the song,
- 15:40the group's leader Matt Thomas shares, it's about falling in
- 15:43love with that cowgirl or just somebody different that has
- 15:45you going out and trying new things, and you're lover
- 15:48loving every bit of it. Cowgirl is the first track
- 15:51to be unveiled from the band's forthcoming album, Fell in
- 15:54Love with a Cowgirl, dropping on April fourth, The seven
- 15:57song collection will serve as part of the two hour
- 16:00album set that aims to elevate Parmelly's distinctive storytelling and
- 16:03infectious anthems that often find them putting a fresh perspective
- 16:07on love and the many adventures life brings fans can
- 16:10pre order and pre save and pre add the album online.
- 16:14The track listening for fell in Love with the Cowgirl
- 16:18feels like Home Day one, God Knew Better, Cowgirl Enough, Beautiful,
- 16:23miss Me when You're Drinking, and it's produced by Dave Fanning.
- 16:27The release of their new single follows the news of
- 16:30the North Carolina Natives most recent milestone back in December,
- 16:33as the group scored their fifth number one single, Gonna
- 16:36Love You, which they performed on Good Morning America and
- 16:39The Kelly Clarkson Show in celebration. Fans also got to
- 16:43hear the tender ballad when Parmeley performed at the Concert
- 16:46for Carolina benefit, which raised more than twenty five million
- 16:49dollars for Hurricane Helen relief efforts. We wander on over
- 16:54now to people dot com Country with a single story,
- 16:57this one about Dolly Parton. Dated January twenty eighth. Dolly
- 17:01Parton's musical about her life will premiere in Nashville before
- 17:05coming to Broadway in twenty twenty six. Dolly an original musical,
- 17:10is gearing up for a Nashville debut. The upcoming stage
- 17:14production based on the life of country music legend and
- 17:16philanthropist Dolly Parton is set to kick off a four
- 17:20week limited engagement in the Tennessee capital city before a
- 17:23planned twenty twenty six move to Broadway in the Big Apple.
- 17:27Belmont University's Fisher Center for the Performing Arts will be
- 17:30home to the show beginning July eighteenth, as it plays
- 17:33its first preview performance. August eighth marks Dolly's official opening,
- 17:38with additional shows running through August seventeenth. According to an
- 17:41official release, Dolly Parton's career is nothing short of extraordinary,
- 17:45reads the release, adding, in part with over three thousand
- 17:48songs written and twenty five number one hits, Dolly has
- 17:52firmly cemented her place in music history. But how did
- 17:55this backwoods barbie rise to become a living legend. During
- 18:00a press conference announcing the show's Nashville debut Tuesday, January
- 18:04twenty eighth, Parton, who's now seventy, said on stage at
- 18:07the Fisher Center that she always wanted to do my
- 18:10life story as a musical per variety. I wanted to
- 18:13see it done while I'm still around, to be able
- 18:15to oversee it and make sure that it's done properly
- 18:17in a way that I would want to see it,
- 18:19rather than wait till I'm gone and let somebody else
- 18:22decide how they think it should be done, she added.
- 18:25Parton also told the audience that the show will include
- 18:27lots of songs that you know, but also a whole
- 18:30lot of original songs, including a lot of country instruments
- 18:33like mandolin and fiddle. I think they'll appreciate me taking
- 18:37Nashville to New York with all those country sounds, she added,
- 18:40according to Variety, and when I had a chance to
- 18:43do something bigger and broader, where I thought, oh, I'm
- 18:45going to get to have an orchestra. That's going to
- 18:47be great if I can have strings on this, and
- 18:49that it was exciting and fun for me to write
- 18:52the new stuff. A Broadway production telling her life story
- 18:56has been Parton's dream, she previously told people back in
- 18:59January of life last year. Right now working on my
- 19:01life story as a musical, and so going on Broadway
- 19:04and opening my show on Broadway, that's been a biggie
- 19:06in my mind for many, many years, she said at
- 19:08the time. That'd be the one thing I want to
- 19:11take and make certain I get done while I'm still kicking,
- 19:14while I'm around, to stay involved in it. Casting has
- 19:17yet to be announced, with Variety reporting that three actors
- 19:20will play parton one for each stage of her life
- 19:23portrayed in the show. I wish I had three of
- 19:25me a lot of times the way I work, she
- 19:27joked at a press conference on Tuesday. Tickets for Dolly
- 19:31in Original Musical are now on sale at Dollymusical dot com.
- 19:36Now we join the news and comments from Saving Country
- 19:39Music with the first article data January twenty eighth, Charlie
- 19:43Crockett reveals new major label album, Lonesome Drifter. All that
- 19:48hard work over the last many years is paying off
- 19:50in spades for old Charlie Crockett just announced officially. Crockett
- 19:54has signed a major label deal with Island Records and
- 19:57we'll be releasing his debut major album call Lonesome Drifter
- 20:01on March fourteenth. The twelve track album, recorded at Sunset
- 20:05Sound Studio in Los Angeles, was produced by Shooter Jennings.
- 20:09Shooter and I barely talked about it, Charlie says about
- 20:11the recording process, I just brought all of my guys
- 20:14out and the album made itself. It was live without
- 20:17a lot of overdubs. There were no inhibitions, I wasn't
- 20:20being judge and I didn't feel self conscious. Shooter knew
- 20:23how to cut loose and let this thing unfold. Crockett
- 20:27will release the title track and video on Friday. Explaining
- 20:30about the track, I started writing the song back when
- 20:32I was still playing in subways in New York. It's
- 20:35how I learned to play electric guitar with an amp
- 20:37on my shoulder. While I was waiting for the next train,
- 20:40I wrote songs. A few years later, I was in
- 20:42California working on the Ganja farms, and I came up
- 20:45with the Lonesome Drifter section. Hopefully, Island Records handed Crockett
- 20:49a big suitcase full of cash, and you know he
- 20:52wouldn't take it if they didn't let him keep all
- 20:53of his creative control. Wyatt Flories is also signed to
- 20:57Island Records, and it appears it's worked out for him
- 20:59so far. Things are starting to really fall into place
- 21:02for Crockett. After many years of paying dues, you finally
- 21:06are seeing his name drift higher and higher on festival
- 21:09posters and see the venues he's playing continue to increase
- 21:12in capacity. This includes headlining Rodeo Houston on March seventeenth,
- 21:17and on Sunday, February second, Crockett will be competing for
- 21:20Best Americana Album at the twenty twenty five Grammy Awards,
- 21:24underscoring just how hard working Charlie Crockett is. He recorded
- 21:27Lonesome Drifter in March of twenty four, before his album
- 21:30Ten Dollars Cowboy came out in April and its companion album,
- 21:34Visions of Dallas came out in July. Don't be surprised
- 21:37if Crockett has more music up his sleeve for twenty
- 21:39twenty five as well. Peeping at the track list for
- 21:43Lonesome Drifter, it looks like we'll hear Crockett's version of
- 21:45Amarillo by Morning made popular by George Strait, as well
- 21:49as a new version of his signature songs Jamestown Ferry
- 21:53originally recorded by Tanya Tucker. That track list is Lonesome Drifter, Game,
- 21:58I Can't Win, Jamestown Fairy, Easy Money under Neon Lights,
- 22:02This Crazy Life, The Death of Bill Bailey, Never Know More,
- 22:06Life of a Country Singer, One Trick, Pony, night Rider,
- 22:09and Amarillo by Morning. Next, Sierra Ferrell announces twenty twenty

- 23:25first in Lexington. Next country artist in Martina McBride's father,
- 23:31Darryl Schiff, has passed away. It was a local country
- 23:35music legend and went on to be nationally recognized and
- 23:37also happened to be the father and mentor of country
- 23:39superstar Martina McBride. Darryl Schiff of The Shifters and the
- 23:43small town of Sharon, Kansas has died at the age
- 23:46of eighty six. Darryl Schiff was a dairy farmer and
- 23:49cabinet shop owner in Sharon, Kansas, just north of Oklahoma,
- 23:53and moonlighted as a country and country rock musician. Schiff
- 23:56exposed his children, Martin, Steve, Martina and Jeanut to country
- 23:59mussey as they were growing up, with Martina especially taking
- 24:03interest in the music, coming home from school every day
- 24:06and singing along to albums from artists like Reba McIntyre,
- 24:09Connie Smith and Patsy Kline for hours. By the time
- 24:12Martina was eight years old, she was already singing in
- 24:15her father's band, the Shifters, with her brother Marty also performing.
- 24:19Martina would continue to perform in her father's band, including
- 24:21playing keys and other roles, up until she married engineer
- 24:24John McBride in nineteen eighty eight and moved to Nashville
- 24:28the following year. In total, the Shifters performed nearly every
- 24:31Saturday night for some seventeen years at local functions, VFW
- 24:36Hall's and other locales. After Martina left for Nashville, Daryl
- 24:40Schiff continued to play music around Sharon, Kansas. As Martina
- 24:43McBride began to find fame, first as more non neo
- 24:46traditional as country performer before going into a more country
- 24:50pop direction, her father began to find his own level
- 24:53of national fame too. Darryl Shift would go on to
- 24:56perform on the Grand Old Operating numerous times and recorded
- 24:59two albums in Nashville, including twenty twenty one's Satisfied, which
- 25:03was produced by Martina and included performances by McBride and
- 25:07her brother Marty, reprising family harmonies in some of the
- 25:10songs they grew up singing together, like Heartaches by the
- 25:12Number and Satisfied Mind. Martina McBride started her singing career
- 25:17in a family band, and in many respects she carries
- 25:20that legacy forward Today. McBride's brothers, Martin and Steve regularly
- 25:24play with Martina in her touring concert band Dall Shiff's
- 25:28family band legacy and mentorship would reach all the way
- 25:31to the top of mainstream country, but it all started
- 25:34in a small Kansas town and a family band singing
- 25:36for the love of the music. Now with tiptoe over
- 25:40to the boot dot com with the first article dated
- 25:42January twenty sixth, Parker McCollum ends a show halfway through.
- 25:48Parker McCollum is just a couple of stops into his
- 25:51twenty twenty five What Kind of Man tour, but their
- 25:54singer hit a roadblock during his State College, Pennsylvania show
- 25:57on Saturday night. McCollum kicked off his show as planned,
- 26:01but as he started making his way through the set list,
- 26:03it became clearer and clear that he wasn't feeling his best.
- 26:07Fans in the crowd documented the performance on social media,
- 26:10including several moments where it seems like McCollum is feeling
- 26:13ill and struggling to power through the songs. Eventually, McCollum
- 26:17decided he was too sick to keep going, and he
- 26:19addressed the crowd with a profuse apology. I'm going to
- 26:23call the show. I'll give each and every single one
- 26:25of you all your money back, the singer said from
- 26:27the stage. It's from the deepest part of my heart
- 26:29that I apologize for having to do this. He continued,
- 26:32I've never done this in all the years I've been
- 26:34singing country music. I hope you guys will forgive us.
- 26:38In addition to promising to refund fans' money, mccoum also
- 26:41vowed to put a new date on his calendar for
- 26:43his state college fans. He reiterated that sentiment is an
- 26:47apology posted to social media after he got off the stage.
- 26:51I was getting pretty sick before the show and tried
- 26:53to make it through, McCollum explained, Sadly, I couldn't make
- 26:56it happen. Definitely not how we wanted the show to
- 26:58go on, but we are going to make it up
- 27:00to you very soon. Though some fans were disappointed that
- 27:04McCollum's show didn't go on as plan, most seemed supportive
- 27:06of his decision to reschedule. He said he was throwing
- 27:09up fifteen minutes before the show, but wanted to give
- 27:11us what he could wrote a TikTok user who posted
- 27:14video from the concert. He made it about halfway through
- 27:17the set list and honestly sounded so good until the
- 27:19last two songs he sang, It's okay, Parker, we still
- 27:22love you. The next scheduled stop on McCollum's tour will
- 27:25take place on January thirtieth in Kingston, Rhode Island. Next.
