• 1:31
But yes, let's uh well it just started so not really but um but moving on. Okay week six is done
• 1:39
right now we're on to week seven versus week eight.
• 1:44
This week eight. All right we're on week eight. I have week eight written down so I hope it's
• 1:49
here. All right um so it's it's week eight um and I gotta tell you boys I'm down. I uh I don't know if
• 2:01
I'll ever have another winning week. It's very depressing. I went four and five uh which I know
• 2:09
is not too bad but uh going I didn't tally up my wins and my losses until like three or four hours
• 2:18
ago. Uh so vibes were pretty low. Vibes are still pretty low because the Titans are selling
• 2:25
and uh I don't think they'll ever be good uh ever again uh but uh that that's uh that's that's not
• 2:32
this part of the pod we're talking about so I will move on to uh Chris. Chris do you think
• 2:39
I will ever be good at betting? Um I don't know the answer to that but I do know you did better
• 2:46
than me last week. Uh I went three and seven on on picks I gave out on the show. It was it was very
• 2:54
bad. It was very very bad but Silver Lining we follow us on Twitter. I pretty much made up for
• 3:00
that with my Mike Gevin's first touchdown bet plus nine fifty you know not a big deal but yeah in
• 3:08
terms of picks I gave on the show it was it was bad. It was very very bad. Surefire lost and
• 3:15
just a couple bets that I would bet again that was just on the wrong side of the Sharefire
• 3:21
Commander's Panthers over 51 and a half. One team scores 40 and it still doesn't go over.
• 3:28
Yeah uh Packers minus what minus three um they went by one uh yeah just a lot of shit like that
• 3:36
just some bounces and then I try to get cute with a few dogs the dolphins and the giants that was
• 3:43
just stupid so bad luck just mixed with stupidity was pretty pretty terrible Sunday I'm not gonna lie
• 3:53
but you know uh we'll bounce back it's week eight. All right well so Sean how are you?
• 4:00
Um yeah I didn't have a 13 in three week last like last week or two weeks ago I went five and six
• 4:13
hit my surefire so really six and six I guess kind of broke even on the weekend
• 4:22
but I had to wait till Monday night to cash the Ravens bucks over which was awesome.
• 4:28
Sean told you. I took it. Yeah good man but the bucks almost backdoor that.
• 4:40
They almost backdoor that yeah Chris Godwood sacrificed his season for that.
• 4:47
Yeah that was uh I was like the overhead and I was like I'll keep watching I won't just go to bed
• 4:59
and then they just started scoring oh my oh my gosh this could be a double winner.
• 5:06
It wasn't much like everything in my life going rough not really that's an exaggeration anyway
• 5:14
we're moving on it's week eight let's talk about some games some games that haven't happened yet
• 5:19
that we're gonna bet on that we're gonna win some money. Okay first game I'm gonna talk about is
• 5:26
Falcons bucks divisional matchup bucks are home dogs by two and a half the buccaneers I think
• 5:34
they've lost like half their team in the span of like a week I think that's pretty crazy
• 5:42
um but it's incredibly unlikely that Chris Godwood's coming back uh I there they haven't
• 5:50
put up the severity of the Mike Evans injury um but that's like uh it's like three quarters of
• 5:57
their offense right there uh so I don't know what they're gonna be able to do uh but I am gonna
• 6:05
start this one off and I'm gonna take the Falcons uh I normally don't bet on the Falcons uh because
• 6:11
I just feel like they've always been kind of like a team like the Titans where they just like
• 6:16
let you down whatever you you count on them the most uh but I was looking at the trend center
• 6:24
today I got a stat all right here's my stats uh road divisional teams who lost their previous games
• 6:33
who are now favored are 135 63 and 6 against the spread so I'm taking Falcons minus two and a half
• 6:44
and I'm calling it because I need help from the trend center I can't be trusted to make my own
• 6:51
decisions uh that being said uh the rest of the games are my own decisions but we're starting
• 6:58
off this week with a win and I'm throwing it to Sean what is next what do you got
• 7:05
uh this one's pretty simple for me uh it's the over over 46 uh currently uh Falcons are on a
• 7:14
three game over streak uh when the total is set at 46 or below uh bucks are just on an overall
• 7:25
heater uh with a four game over win streak uh so let's just keep it going um the last matchup they
• 7:32
had was probably the best Thursday night game we'll get this entire year so uh let's just let's just
• 7:40
keep it rolling uh Mike Evans and Chris Gowan both being out is definitely a bummer uh and this makes
• 7:48
it a lot more sweaty than it needs to be but Baker still slinging it um and I think this
• 7:56
opens up the Bucks playbook a bit and gets players more involved like Kay got Kay Dotman
• 8:03
Rashad White uh who who had a great both had great games against the Ravens so uh yeah give me the
• 8:10
over love this over Chris what you got I'm a little nervous because I do agree with Will
• 8:19
the Falcons minus two and a half um I it's it makes me nervous because like yes like I feel
• 8:28
like half of the Bucks offense is hurt why is it two and a half I know it's in Tampa
• 8:34
Creamsicle game I believe makes me a little nervous but I'm riding the Falcons I'm riding Kirk
• 8:39
Cousins um I also have a stat for this one Kirk Cousins in his career after a straight up loss is
• 8:45
40 and 26 against the spread so let's get a little bounce back Kirk um yeah really nothing crazy on
• 8:53
the I I honestly I don't love this it feels too easy but you know we're taking the birds so Falcons
• 9:01
minus two and a half all right moving on to the next game another game featuring birds talking
• 9:09
Eagles Bengals the Bengals are home favorites by two points uh the Eagles uh it seems like there's
• 9:17
some trouble in uh Eagle land if Cheese Stakeland I don't know uh in Philadelphia uh they hate their
• 9:26
coach they keep you all in at them everyone wants them fired they keep winning games um but it's uh
• 9:33
not not all is uh is good over there uh I'm gonna throw it to Chris first what do you think hold
• 9:38
on before you do okay um just a little refresher do you guys remember how the last time these two
• 9:47
teams met how that ended no is that that overtime again yes maybe maybe the worst ending in all of
• 9:58
NFL history that I've ever seen and it was week three do y'all remember this yes because I had the
• 10:05
over and it lost because the game ended in a fucking tie the two teams they just gave up
• 10:12
yeah and overtime they just they just stopped playing it was week three they just stopped
• 10:16
playing the game didn't Cincinnati punt from plus territory or maybe Philly did one team did
• 10:25
like there was really yeah they're playing like a bunch of bitches and overtime oh I remember yeah
• 10:31
I remember them taking I remember them taking knees at the end of overtime yeah and I was like
• 10:36
what the fuck are we doing I was thinking about that game probably a couple weeks ago every now
• 10:41
and then that game does come across my mind because I remember that went to overtime and I
• 10:47
forget what the total was but it was either a point or a half point under the total I was like
• 10:52
okay sweet I just need a team to win this game and the overheads and it ended in a fucking tie
• 11:00
yeah so yeah I mean to answer your question I remember that game okay this matchup just makes
• 11:08
me mad is all I'm trying to say but Chris what's your pick now yeah I'm back in a bad mood
• 11:19
sorry I'm sitting now you're good I'm taking the bingles minus two and a half on this one
• 11:25
yeah last week was good for the Eagles they warmed up on the Giants you know I bet the Giants
• 11:31
maybe people are like hey you know things aren't as bad as they seem here uh no the Giants are a
• 11:38
fucking are they are a disaster um so I think Eagles come back down to earth I think the bingles
• 11:46
kind of maybe win this one handedly honestly I don't trust the Eagles whatsoever um the Eagles
• 11:52
defense is like oh they're kind of figuring it out they haven't played a real quarterback in three weeks
• 11:56
last time they played a real quarterback was Tampa Bay Baker Mayfield they hung 33 on them so I just
• 12:04
I don't buy anything the Eagles are selling I'm taking the bingles minus two and a half
• 12:10
Will what are you taking I'm also on the bingles not only because the sorry
• 12:16
  I haven't I made this I have it circled um I uh I'm not I may I'm taking this for a couple
• 12:27
of different reasons one the Eagles are sort of imploding and the bingles they're still trying
• 12:35
to be competitive they they got to win some of these games uh and so they're not a dog but
• 12:43
they're kind of like in the in the sense of like a hungry dog runs fast they kind of need this
• 12:48
they need to win like every game pretty much yeah and so for that reason I'm taking the bingles minus
• 12:56
two um Sean all all of the research uh that I did today is telling me to take the Eagles um bingles
• 13:10
haven't won a home game yet uh Saquon Barkley cannot be stopped he's averaging 166 yards a game
• 13:20
which is absolutely bonkers insane the Bengals defense is terrible on the run game and just
• 13:31
kind of all around uh but congrats on your eight sacks on the Giants though on Daniel Jones and
• 13:39
and holding a newly activated Nick Chubb to 22 yards um but both teams have some great offensive
• 13:50
numbers so I'm gonna go with another over here over 47 and a half dangerous it is dangerous but
• 13:57
I live on the edge so it's gonna end at 23 23 tie yeah um before we move on I forget I do have a
• 14:07
trincer stat written down got threw it out there burrowed his career against team against non-divisional
• 14:13
opponents 30 12 and 3 at s so love he's already played that many games this is this is like five
• 14:24
or six season fifth year fifth year in the league yeah damn I'm really bad at numbers he's hurt a
• 14:30
lot so I get that but yeah that is true yeah oh yeah that was yeah that was a smart thing of me to say
• 14:37
yeah yeah I have those sometimes yeah looking back that was smart yeah
• 14:46
okay uh moving on bills at the seahawks the seahawks are home dogs by three
• 14:58
I don't really have much to say about this game uh without really going into my pick
• 15:03
but I'm gonna throw it to Sean first all right um I've got I'm double dipping in this game uh first
• 15:12
I'm gonna go bills minus three um bills are on a roll uh two straight wins uh Josh Allen is locked in
• 15:21
12 touchdowns no picks which is crazy for him um and I think that should give them a pretty good
• 15:31
shot on the road um Seattle's coming off a solid win road win actually against Atlanta um
• 15:39
they're oh and one as home underdogs um I think if Allen can just keep it keep it clean don't
• 15:47
throw any picks don't make any stupid mistakes um they could take this one easy and you know
• 15:53
Seattle's run defense they're giving up 146 yards a game so watch out for James Cook he's
• 16:01
gonna be in the kitchen cooking pun intended um again I'm also on the over here over 47 and a half
• 16:10
I'm honestly just loving overs this week um and I did some I did some digging into uh our our friends
• 16:19
over at the trend center on their app uh I made my own little trend and um the bills in the Seahawks
• 16:27
have an impressive over streak dating back to 1989 these two teams have met 11 times and the over
• 16:38
has hit 10 of those 11 times so count me in on that please what is it uh it's 46 and a half adding it
• 16:54
hell yeah so let's just throw it to you then Chris what else you got in this game
• 16:58
I'm ready to get down um cool well I'm also double dipping uh because I just took the over
• 17:03
and I'm also on the bills um bills look like they are back in f**k you mode they're just kind of
• 17:09
steamrolling everyone the Seahawks I know they just beat the Falcons kind of a fluke you win got
• 17:16
three turnovers and a scoop and score you're not getting that against the bills who I mean like you
• 17:22
said Josh how has it turned the ball over once this season that's insane to think uh so yeah
• 17:29
bills um also Seahawks no DK that's not great I know they have other weapons Kenneth Walker is good
• 17:36
but I think the bills are just when they get like in this mode it's very hard to stop them
• 17:42
and I just don't think the Geno Smith led Seahawks are going to be able to get in their way so yeah
• 17:48
bills minus three uh Will what are you taking I just have the over in this game uh I both teams
• 17:57
have been scoring I'm joking all right uh I had it written down uh but both of the teams both of
• 18:09
these teams like they've been scoring like pretty significantly in the majority of their games um
• 18:18
that's pretty much all I all I got honestly um but I love all the reasons that you guys got um
• 18:24
um I really have nothing else to add so I'm gonna move on uh I got the over over for 46 uh okay next
• 18:32
game I can't remember if we were gonna talk about this or not uh but I have it written down and we're
• 18:38
gonna talk about it's the bears and the commanders um commanders are home dogs by two and a half uh
• 18:46
I learned about a half hour ago that Jaden Daniels is questionable um I saw that he went out with
• 18:53
the injury but I didn't know that he was you know I thought it I thought it was pretty you know he's
• 18:57
  he's fine he's gonna play I don't know I don't know what's going on he didn't practice today didn't
• 19:03
practice today it is Wednesday it is Wednesday my dudes um but okay let's get into it straight up
• 19:13
I'm taking the over I'm taking over 43 I even with Marcus Mariota I I feel like this offense
• 19:21
has got something you know it's not just Jaden Daniels they have a a beat they have a pulse
• 19:27
the bears their defense is fairly fairly good um but also the bears really haven't beaten anyone
• 19:37
and so I think they're gonna give up some I think the commanders are definitely gonna give up some
• 19:42
points um I'm taking over 43 and a half uh Chris what do you think well this is either gonna be
• 19:51
a really good week or really bad week for us well because I agree over 43 and a half um yeah
• 19:59
congratulations to the commanders you all the panthers to seven points um you still suck uh
• 20:06
Caleb Williams is probably gonna have a field day on this one and Jaden Daniels are not I mean
• 20:11
I mean look Marcus Mariota out here putting up Numbees and Relief shit um he did he could have
• 20:20
half a good game as good of a game as he had last week and this should still hit the over um yeah
• 20:29
over 43 and a half I think I was tempted to double dip and take the bears but I already have a lot
• 20:34
of minus signs I don't want another one so yeah bears mangers over 43 and a half Sean clean sweep
• 20:44
yeah clean sweep over 43 over 43 and a half uh like I said I love the overs this week um
• 20:52
I'm addicted guys it's it's mangers overs um I can't stop I won't stop uh they let me down
• 21:00
last week against the piss poor panthers but yeah like you said Mario they did they did
• 21:06
they put 40 points oh well no I didn't I didn't say they let me I mean like they were facing a piss
• 21:13
poor panthers oh okay score that's what I meant I'm sorry um but yeah Mariota putting up Numbees
• 21:20
as you had mentioned after Jaden Daniels went down um but yeah we'll keep that one short and sweet
• 21:26
uh but I am gonna double dip and I am gonna take a plus sign uh mangers plus two and a half um I am
• 21:36
going to operate under the impression that Jaden Daniels is good to go um mangers undefeated at
• 21:46
home and dogs bears two and oh on the road oh and two on the road um they're a little hot right now
• 21:56
though uh one in three in a row uh all at home uh this will be the toughest defense the mangers have
• 22:03
yet to face though um but I do love the dog spread here um yeah I expect if Jaden is good to go I
• 22:12
think these spreads will flip so I'm just gonna get at it while it's early and bet it while it's hot
• 22:20
that that being said he's probably not gonna play but we will see
• 22:28
if if Mario to covers then he is forever my king but bring him back bring him back
• 22:35
honestly not a bad idea not a bad idea if we're gonna suck why not just relive the
• 22:45
the glory days quote yeah exactly all right moving on sunday night football uh kind of
• 22:54
the last game we're really gonna really dive into here uh because the monday night football sucks
• 22:59
um but uh sunday night football cowboys at the 49ers 49ers are beat the hell up uh cowboys
• 23:09
look really bad uh and the 49ers are home favorites by four points um
• 23:19
both uh both both have their pros and cons man I don't show them what do you think uh
• 23:26
uh so not a total from me uh on this one fellas but uh this one's pretty simple uh if you're a
• 23:34
trend center follower um I'm going with cowboys plus four uh there are 48 trends active for this game
• 23:43
eight are for the under the other 40 are in favor of the cowboys go with the numbers
• 23:51
it's really not a hard decision for me honestly and that's really all I gotta say
• 24:03
uh I'm gonna throw it to you will I'm also on the cowboys they're coming off the buy I think
• 24:11
um yes uh they're gonna be rested the Niners man they're just beat the hell up
• 24:18
Debo Samuel he's probably not gonna play uh just getting out of the hospital for pneumonia
• 24:25
that should can fuck you up for a while uh Brett and Iuk out for the season uh George Kittle went
• 24:31
down with a uh with an injury uh he'll probably play I don't know uh we'll see but they have some
• 24:40
other pieces that are hurting on the Niners uh and I think this is a uh a bounce back week for
• 24:46
the cowboys um they uh wasn't their last game they got their shit rocked by by the Lions
• 24:54
yeah yes yeah yeah this is a great bounce back game great after the buy game let's do it cowboys
• 25:00
plus four Graves um well as a as a George Kittle fantasy over he or owner he is he is questionable
• 25:09
every single every single week that's accurate yes and he he always comes out and puts up 15 to 20
• 25:18
points so he'll he'll probably be good to go okay three it's another clean sweep I uh I thought I
• 25:27
was gonna be the contrarian on this one but yeah it's cowboys plus four and a half um you talk about
• 25:33
it just like a hunger dog runs faster game that the cowboys need to win this game like their season
• 25:40
is on life support right now it is done so if they lose um so yeah they need it more and like you said
• 25:48
Niners are I mean half their teams in the hospital um yeah I didn't know deep out in
• 25:55
ammonia I just saw I left an illness that's uh yikes yeah you left with an illness to the hospital I
• 26:03
didn't know he's in the hot I just saw I left the nail in this I didn't know he went to the hospital
• 26:06
that's bad so even if he does play he ain't gonna be 100% so I guess yeah Kittle and
• 26:13
Joanne Jennings out there um and plus yeah cowboys off a buy they're getting healthy I think Parsons
• 26:19
uh and or on bland or probably gonna play in this game so I like that so yeah give me the give me
• 26:26
the cowboys plus four and a half this game is gonna be close um I don't want really want them to win
• 26:31
this game because I like that they suck so yeah maybe they lose about field goal okay there we go
• 26:39
that's Sunday Night Football moving on we have our sure fire picks of the week uh I lost my sure
• 26:46
fire pick last week uh by a point uh thank you to the Packers um just kidding fuck them um
• 26:56
but uh but yeah our sure fire picks of the week uh Chris what is your sure fire double unit play
• 27:04
of the week looking like this week I'm glad you asked well it is again we already talked about
• 27:10
it is the bills minus three and I've got a stat from our friends at Trend Center and it's a doozy
• 27:20
so since 2001 in weeks in games played between weeks two and 15 when a road favorite who was
• 27:29
favored by less than six and a half uh or who's coming to the game favored by six and a half or
• 27:36
less than six and a half and their last game went over the total that team is 126 64 and five against
• 27:44
the spread covering in 16 straight games uh so yeah yeah I don't know I don't think I said that the
• 27:56
the factors of the stat right all you need to know is 126 64 and five 16 in a row it's the bills
• 28:05
minus three they are a fucking wagon they're gonna steam roll geno smith's bitch ass so yes give me
• 28:12
the bills minus three uh well what is your sure fire guaranteed not to lose play the week
• 28:20
so I did just say fuck the Packers but I do need the Packers here uh it's an over very
• 28:30
uncharacteristic of me uh it's the Packers Jags over 49 uh Jags defense is ass Trevor Lawrence
• 28:42
not that bad this year uh I was only throwing three picks uh he's like 11th in passing yards
• 28:50
I think the Jags have some decent offensive weapons it's kind of just decides who kind of just depends
• 28:56
on who decides to show up uh and I think the Packers can also put up a decent amount of points
• 29:04
and if they can let out let a touchdown or two I think this overcruises it's over 49
• 29:11
lock it in uh I love I love this over I saw it and I was just like over let's go I have zero stats
• 29:18
to back it up probably should look into it uh but yeah that's what I got Sean what is your
• 29:25
double unit sure fire play of the week well it's not a double unit it's a triple unit oh fuck
• 29:33
and my triple unit sure fire guaranteed to win pick of the week is the Cowboys plus four
• 29:42
both Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott oh by the way um I'm on a heater on these I've won five in a row
• 29:49
of my shirt my sure fire picks I don't know if y'all knew that or not but I didn't
• 29:55
both Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott are under immense pressure they might as well be making diamonds
• 30:03
or you know what I mean but yes heading into week eight Sunday night football matchup
• 30:10
coming off of turnover heavy performances uh Purdy threw three picks against the Chiefs
• 30:16
and Prescott had two in the blowout loss against Detroit uh it comes it really comes down to which
• 30:24
quarterback cannot fuck up um Dallas is three and oh straight up on the road while San Fran is just
• 30:32
two and four against the spread as single digit favorites um despite the 49ers ranking 13th
• 30:42
in PR plus and ninth in EPA uh they are dealing with major injury concerns and uh
• 30:53
I kind of think that leaves some doubt about Purdy's effectiveness and without his full arsenal
• 31:01
we've seen that Purdy kind of isn't that great uh but yeah like I said oddly enough the Cowboys
• 31:09
excel on the road kind of the reverse of last year uh you know but they've they've had their
• 31:16
their wins against weaker teams like the Browns the Giants the Steelers um a week ago if this line
• 31:25
this line might have been double digits it very well could have been double digits but uh the 49ers
• 31:34
just abysmal loss to the the Chiefs raised a few eyebrows uh but I think the Cowboys by week
• 31:46
it came at exactly the right time uh coming off that humiliating loss um I feel confident I feel
• 31:53
really confident that Dallas could keep this close or even pull off the upset um I'm not gonna
• 31:59
I'm not gonna bet money line but I will be putting three units on Dallas to cover this game
• 32:07
hell yeah that's rocked up is that the first triple unit play of the year
• 32:12
that is the first triple play unit play of the year uh the last triple unit play was also on the
• 32:18
Cowboys uh when they faced the Eagles at home last year I believe and that was my my big brain
• 32:27
just like they have to win this game and it's kind they're kind of in the same situation
• 32:32
they have to win this game they they have to keep it close they they fucking stomp the Eagles
• 32:38
that yeah I can't remember which one that was I think they were dogs too but they won outright so
• 32:47
is that a trend could that be a trend maybe if it happens again it's a trend
• 32:51
we'll see we will we will see okay moving on now that assure fires are done uh let's go into the
• 33:02
extra plays of the week Sean what are your extra plays what else do you got all right um I've got
• 33:12
one two three four I got five more um first up uh Colts plus five uh surprisingly uh the Colts are
• 33:22
only one game behind the Texans uh they'll they're definitely gonna want to keep this one close um
• 33:28
they kept it close week one at home um I think they could fuck around and do it again uh Colts
• 33:35
are looking more and more healthy as well uh John Taylor should be returning uh Houston defense
• 33:42
gives up the most passing touchdowns of any other team and hopefully Tony is a little more healed up
• 33:48
than he was uh last week against the Dolphins so yeah give me the Colts plus five Chris
• 33:55
is so you shaking your head calling him Tony he hates that I do that but that's why I keep doing it
• 34:01
um talking like your butt buddies or something
• 34:08
I'm just joking all right all right yeah you're only butt buddies with Chris
• 34:15
all right yes it's jealousy you're right yeah let's let's relax all right um next up uh it's
• 34:25
another Raven's over um I'm addicted Ravens Browns over 44 and a half uh plus it's James time uh he
• 34:35
may fuck around and throw a couple touchdowns and show you should be the real starting QB for the
• 34:41
Browns uh over 44 and a half yeah give me that um next I've got the uh Chiefs minus 10 uh Raven
• 34:51
Raiders are averaging uh 15 points per game uh they did beat the Chiefs last year uh 20 to 14
• 35:02
Chiefs have won the last four matchups in Vegas by 15 so give me that spread all day long
• 35:10
uh next up we got Saints Chargers under 40 and a half uh this is Chargers under plus a few stats
• 35:19
for you uh unders are one and four and sofi uh seven of eight have gone seven of their last
• 35:27
eight have gone under plus there are three trends on the Trend Center app that support this under as
• 35:32
well um next up I got last up Panthers Broncos under 41 and a half um this game is just gonna
• 35:41
stink on one side um yeah I'm just more or less betting a goose egg on the Panthers uh Bryce is back
• 35:49
Broncos defense is yeah do you not see that Chris no I I did not see that yeah they're they're
• 35:55
starting him against uh the best passing defense in the league so that's real great for him but
• 36:02
is is Dalton hurt or no so they're just all right they're just throwing him they're throwing him
• 36:12
in the fire um he just needed a break he's needed a breather yeah need a four week breather yeah
• 36:20
what's the whole get continue continue uh the line is nine if you're a wonder okay
• 36:26
yeah we'll see not in favor of the Panthers if you were curious but oh well then in that case give it to me
• 36:38
but yeah Bryce is back um like I said uh Broncos defense is like the best passing defense in the
• 36:47
entire league um this is not the game I would have chosen to bring it back for so I'm going
• 36:55
under all day here under 41 and a half uh Chris what else you got uh go to will I'm looking up
• 37:03
something real quick okay go to will I'm looking up a potential add real quick okay uh so we didn't
• 37:12
talk about the money in that game but I'll talk about it a little bit uh Giants at the Steelers uh
• 37:17
I'm taking the stillers minus six and a half uh listen we coined this phrase on the pod for a
• 37:24
reason Daniel the dany dimes is a further dark shit yeah okay so got you I'm I'm fucking taking the
• 37:33
Steelers minus six and a half uh he needs his sleep he needs to go to sleep he's so tired
• 37:40
out there on the field at night feeling he's also not very good uh but um I think that you know we
• 37:50
were questioning why they were putting in Russ uh Russ kind of put it together you know um they they
• 37:57
put up a pretty good game against the Jets the Jets I still think have a pretty decent defense
• 38:03
but they were putting it together like they were just figuring it out like oh we just need to throw
• 38:06
it to George Pickett's and he'll like make a play but then he'll also do something really
• 38:13
stupid or or crazy I don't know he's weird uh and I'm beginning to think that you know maybe
• 38:22
Russell Wilson wasn't like terrible he just his first year in where he was terrible he just needed
• 38:30
a good coach that's that's what I'm thinking yeah because you have Pete Carroll in Seattle great
• 38:39
coach Hall of Famer uh and now you got Tomlin it just sounds like he just needs someone smart
• 38:47
behind him he needs stability yeah he just I don't he just can figure it coaches can just figure it
• 38:55
out I don't know uh so maybe he's not terrible um so I'm taking the Steelers minus six and a half
• 39:03
um I'm also taking the Colts plus five and a half or it's plus five uh it it kind of
• 39:12
divisional games they're weird they're the only one game behind the Texans uh they have a guy
• 39:18
they're gonna keep it close and I feel like there's been there's some trend or about the Colts going
• 39:26
to Houston or something because I know there's one against it's Jacksonville against Jacksonville
• 39:33
well the Colts are also uh seven and one against the spread in Houston yeah there it is uh so I'm
• 39:42
taking the Colts plus five uh and then I'm also taking Chargers under 40 and a half uh Spencer
• 39:49
Rattler is not very good and the Chargers have a really good defense and that's my that's my place
• 39:58
uh just three extra plays and Chris what do you the what do you got what are your extra plays
• 40:03
we'll start out with the latest addition to the card now that I know Bryce Young is starting
• 40:07
it is Panthers team total under 14 and a half um they could only they could only score seven
• 40:14
against the god awful commander's defense you expect me to believe Bryce Young is going to score
• 40:21
more than that against like twice as much as that against a like you said Sean best pass defense in
• 40:28
the league I don't think so we saw what the Broncos did to poor Spencer Rattler Bryce Young is going
• 40:34
to be in hell so yeah Panthers team total under 14 and a half you said it it's James time baby browns
• 40:45
plus eight and a half uh this team actually respects him they want to play for him they don't
• 40:52
despise him like they do to Sean Watson I think James might fuck around man he might sling it he
• 40:58
might sling to the wrong team a couple times but hey that's just what James does he has James
• 41:04
that's just James being you take it you take the go with the bat um also Ravens no pun intended
• 41:11
flying high after a dominant Monday night game maybe they can make down to earth a little bit
• 41:16
just don't score as many points like the Browns keep it within a touchdown um
• 41:23
why do the schedule makers despise the Jacksonville Jaguars how do they not have a buy this week
• 41:29
uh I don't know what you mean two weeks in London and they have to play oh I see yes I see what you
• 41:38
mean that doesn't make any sense Packers minus four um just for the fact that the Jags are going to
• 41:45
be sleeping through this game uh and the Packers are a very good football team so yeah it's it's
• 41:51
Packers minus four and then we'll close out with a couple stinky unders start out Cardinals
• 41:59
Dolphins under 46 and a half Cardinals coming up flying across country on short rest after Monday
• 42:06
night football uh maybe they're a little sleepy I believe Tua is coming back this week um so I might
• 42:13
take him a little bit to get going uh so yeah under 46 and a half um thought I had a trend written
• 42:19
oh it also potentially a weather game heard uh could be a very windy game in Miami so
• 42:26
so lots of running the football last one maybe my favorite stinky under definitely my favorite
• 42:35
stinky under the week Jets Pat's under 41 and a half both these offenses suck um
• 42:44
I don't see a way where I mean it's possible neither team scores 20 points I mean Aaron Rodgers
• 42:51
is he's old he's not very good he's like this offense blows they were better last year with
• 42:59
Zach Wilson that's a fact that is a better record better stats almost across the board
• 43:07
I the Jets are bad um and the Patriots they suck so yes Jets Pat's under 41 and a half
• 43:16
and then yeah let's uh let's turn this ship around let's win some bets this week yes I would
• 43:23
love to win some bets this week well if we're kind of locked stuff on a bunch of these yeah
• 43:29
we're we're kind of all in we're kind of all in with you so we're we're either going down on this
• 43:36
this isn't my fault this isn't my fault I make the picks I know but we're not the same thing
• 43:43
but it's like we're all dying on this ship together or we ride off into the sunset
• 43:50
for this weekend yeah so what could go wrong yeah if we all win there may not be a pod next week
• 44:03
if we all lose they're definitely won't be
• 44:04
because we'll be homeless right gotta send my kids to college I have a cat
• 44:15
gotta send my cat to cat school for his AIDS medication he has HIV
• 44:25
just we're airing out medical records on the pod now he doesn't take anything I think we've I
• 44:31
think we've said that the cat has AIDS by now well he has a home that's what he has now
• 44:39
right there's a safe place to live not on the streets so you guys terrorize this poor thing
• 44:48
yeah we do um I do want to I do want to comment on the uh the schedule maker thing that you said
• 44:56
Chris um this is the third game in a row that the Panthers have a three to 330 start
• 45:04
that just does not sit right with me are they they're on the road this week aren't they I know
• 45:10
yeah they're they're playing in Denver this one makes sense but this is the third game in a row
• 45:16
where they get like some type of you know midday witching hour fucking start time and this this
• 45:25
just pisses me off yeah last week definitely didn't make any sense I don't remember who they played
• 45:30
the week before it was the it was the Falcons at home and then it was the Manders uh it was either at
• 45:38
home or yeah away but whatever um yeah that's weird yeah that just does that that just really
• 45:47
rubs me the wrong way for some reason because this this this team does not deserve a three to
• 45:54
330 start time they just don't well you'll be happy to know that play at noon next week great
• 46:05
they've yet to have their Monday night game they play on Monday night or their prime time game
• 46:12
there's they might not have one I thought every team gets a we don't have a Thursday so well we
• 46:18
don't have a Thursday but we had that we had a Monday does every every team has like one prime time
• 46:24
game they shouldn't have that they should no they shouldn't but I'm not seeing
• 46:35
but yeah I agree no that's so I'm looking to try to find no you're good that does that is stupid
• 46:42
I I do hate that when to eat that happened to the Titans a couple it was more than a couple years
• 46:48
ago I forget who they're playing an east coast team at home and it was a 330 kick
• 46:55
I mean like that I think it's more of a jealousy thing than anything but because like I would love
• 47:02
to go to a a home game that's a 330 start time I would love that yeah because those games rock
• 47:08
yeah just stay at the bar longer get to the bar early stay there longer yeah there's so
• 47:17
many noon games you watch all the all the noon games at the bar and then and then there's only
• 47:24
like three or four after noon games you're not missing that much football yeah like here in
• 47:31
here in Tennessee like the bar is open at 10 kickoffs at noon it's like you got to leave the bar by
• 47:38
1115 1130 to get to the game I gotta eat I gotta have like five beers at least a lot yeah
• 47:50
um I wrote down a couple things here just little talking points um did you see what
• 48:00
you said that the Jets stink Chris I don't disagree with that but did you see what uh Julie and Edelman
• 48:06
said I did not okay um he said that that's all that yeah he said that um Tom Brady kind of like
• 48:17
changed the game again because he you know he switched teams when he was in his older
• 48:25
phase won a Super Bowl and then he said that now everyone thinks they can do it
• 48:31
and it's it's kind of just like a big middle finger to Aaron Rodgers which I'm okay with because
• 48:43
nobody really likes this guy right I hate him I think I said I said that last week I've grown to
• 48:51
genuinely hate him I think it's more I mean yeah Tom Brady he he was he might have been the first
• 49:03
switch teams when he was old and win a Super Bowl but old guys been doing like Joe Montanen with this
• 49:09
the Chiefs right far far went to the viking to the Jets and then the Vikings which oh I went
• 49:15
I want Aaron Rodgers to go to the Vikings so that would be the hilarious and then just throw a crippling interception into your career
• 49:22
oh so funny um but I think he changed the game Tom Brady did and the way that we look at older
• 49:30
quarterback switching teams it's be like oh they can still win a Super Bowl we're just like right
• 49:35
Aaron Rodgers like he's been riding that uh granted he did win multiple MVP so I'm not
• 49:40
saying he's a bum or anything but he's been riding that one Super Bowl win that was like
• 49:44
15 years ago for a long time yep yeah so I'm just like he's shown many many many times he
• 49:53
cannot get it done in the playoffs so I don't really know why Jets fans were like oh we let's just add
• 50:00
a quarterback and we're we're Super Bowl bound or at least like going to make a run in the playoffs
• 50:06
I mean I mean truth be told that is that has been the Jets biggest need for many many years
• 50:19
but like he's just too he's just too old dude he's just he's just like he can't do it he's gonna die
• 50:26
soon if he didn't tear his Achilles I would more understand it but now you've got a 40 he's 41
• 50:34
correct or is he 30 he's old you got an old old quarterback coming off a torn Achilles
• 50:43
and you expect him to just line up 40 with just a not good offense like Breeze Hall is really good
• 50:52
Garrett Wilson is he's got a lot of talent he just hasn't really shown a lot in the NFL yet
• 51:00
so they had to bring in the Davante Adams who I mean didn't do shit last week but first week
• 51:07
with the team whatever but yeah I just I love it because I just hate Aaron Rogers but yeah it's
• 51:17
it is just stunning to see the comparisons from last week or last year's Jets team with
• 51:23
Zach Wilson this year and how they were significantly better with Zach Wilson yeah and they uh fallen
• 51:34
falling like a like a jet out of the air and then they were like let's let's let's trade for
• 51:40
Davante Adams that'll fix everything that'll fix that'll fix the bad defense I I get the need
• 51:48
for Davante you know it's familiarity I get it but god how long has he been away from from Rogers
• 51:59
now like three four seasons like he was in Vegas for yeah three or four years yeah but yeah and also
• 52:12
like I mean he's he is still good but I feel like they got him more just to keep Rogers happy
• 52:22
as opposed to like trying to make this team better I it's it's tough to say like either way if
• 52:32
Davante Adams has lost a step because he has had such a dog shit room of quarterbacks since
• 52:41
since Aaron Rogers like it's it's incredibly hard to I don't know kind of factor in his ability
• 52:50
when the ability of the person throwing the ball is incredibly low varies and is also incredibly
• 53:01
low Gardner meant you you know if they take him out and then they then he gets put in as a backup
• 53:07
he'll be he'll be great but uh you know doesn't really doesn't really have that same magic oh the
• 53:17
yes and and the Raiders are going back to Gardner this week so yeah it could be could be the right
• 53:25
right week to the Raiders then AOC get hurt yes I think he broke his thumb yeah I think that's awesome
• 53:33
yeah well hey now it's backup Gardner so yeah all pets are off he's got nothing to lose
• 53:43
um well will you mentioned uh that Russ you know and his coaching stuff but you said that
• 53:52
Pete Carroll was a Hall of Famer um I don't doubt that but you guys think that he's gonna like
• 53:59
like he's gonna make it there like is he gonna be in attendance for his Hall of Fame
• 54:08
induction because the dude is 70 yeah yeah it's gonna die before he gets into the Hall of Fame
• 54:15
he's 73 and he's still going strong he looks damn good I think he's gonna I don't want to jinx
• 54:23
anything but I think he he's got a while left he may be the first hundred he may be the first human
• 54:31
to live to 150 see I don't want to put a number on it and then like two days later something tragic
• 54:39
happens but um well you you can't you can't stop tragedy but you know but I just yeah okay fair
• 54:48
but yeah I think that was he was always the guy who's like hey you know who the oldest coach in
• 54:54
the league is Pete Carroll and everyone's like what he looks so good he's so he looks so fit blah
• 55:01
blah blah blah that was the thing for like five years yeah so it's like yeah he is old but like
• 55:08
he'll get in in the next like 10 years so yeah I don't know what the rule for coaches is if you
• 55:17
have to also be retired for a certain number of years I don't know man it took Bill Coward forever
• 55:26
and uh he's a much better coach than Pete Carroll yeah it took him forever to get in the Hall of Fame
• 55:33
that's fair so yeah maybe he won't go yeah I guess it's true with coaches that don't go
• 55:39
so I don't know I just I maybe he'll die it just it just popped it it just popped in my dome dude
• 55:45
I would I don't know like he got me thinking a little bit I was like I don't know if he
• 55:51
fucking make it there dude like like I mean as long as it's not years from now I think you'll be fine
• 56:00
is he um did is this like his first year not being a head coach or was that last year
• 56:07
this is this is first year not being a head coach oh yeah okay so he probably won't get inducted
• 56:17
like first ballot because however long you need to be retired will also be he also retired the
• 56:26
same year as fucking Bill Belichick Bill Belichick's not retired technically he's not retired
• 56:36
  he was fired oh shit
• 56:42
yeah well never mind I see but yeah like kind of like what we were saying I don't know what the
• 56:48
precedent is with coaches getting in like like you said it took Coward forever yet and he was
• 56:54
he was a better coach than Pete Carroll so I don't know how long it's gonna take Carroll to get in
• 57:00
but I would imagine yeah he he'll get in it's I I mean with the NFL a greatest again different
• 57:06
with coaches but it's not incredibly difficult to get the NFL Hall of Fame
• 57:13
or a pro football Hall of Fame excuse me uh-huh do you like so with with pro football
• 57:21
is that is that would that like include like Nick Saban I don't know what it uh no it's a
• 57:29
different completely different Hall of Fame I mean they have a college football thing yeah
• 57:32
but they do they have like a regular football Hall of Fame I don't know no okay well
• 57:42
in in Canton no all right but no he coached the Dolphins for a little bit yeah sucked yeah
• 57:52
um geez I mean okay mentioned Bill I you mentioned Bill Belichick I don't even think we've touched
• 58:05
on the fact that he's dating that 24 year old guy playing and doll
• 58:13
what the fuck dude god bless him how have we not talked about this yet just lining it up in the
• 58:19
end zone I've seen that like it's not that chicks first go around with a 70 year old man
• 58:28
Jesus Christ from what I've read she's she's been at this game for a little bit I mean dude
• 58:35
chase that bag I I get it but like god damn he's a Hall of Fame 74 year old just that just
• 58:44
I don't want to say this but I'm gonna say it uh do you just imagine being being a chick and just
• 58:53
having Bill Belichick on top of you like that's just so gross no I can't imagine that
• 59:05
for me he probably has a pretty good uh game playing in bed
• 59:09
and he's probably like I'm gonna lay on my back and you do I'm not moving
• 59:29
okay all right well we'll get off that subject real fast because
• 59:33
I mean I feel like we gotta talk about it D hall to the chiefs oh whatever
• 59:44
why okay hold up why does it have to be them I was up at 5 a.m this morning and because I wake up
• 59:53
I wake up fucking early scrolling on my phone then I no I'm not a farmer I'm like the opposite
• 1:00:04
of a farmer I throw food away I was scrolling on my phone and then I get the USP and alert that
• 1:00:17
de hop is being traded to the chiefs and I was like just swiped it away I was like cool whatever
• 1:00:29
like what I mean we're sellers I mean like I'm I'm not going to be surprised if
• 1:00:38
maybe Landry is the next to go yeah we're we're probably not going to trade Jeff
• 1:00:44
Jeff just because that is a guy to like build around he's got a heavy contract no one's gonna
• 1:00:50
want to take that on he's still young he's still pretty young but that Jeff is a guy you should
• 1:00:58
kind of build a defense around and you're kind of already doing that with uh sweat and you know
• 1:01:05
all those other young guys but yeah dude uh it's a fire sale right now I think anyone's up for grabs
• 1:01:13
honestly we traded Ernest Jones today too I don't know if you guys saw that yeah we just got him
• 1:01:22
like eight weeks ago like literally eight weeks ago I'm just so like whatever with this team right
• 1:01:31
now like I was kind of with you Sean I saw that I was like well I don't like it was the chiefs but
• 1:01:37
I'm not like whatever just get it like we knew it was gonna happen just get it over with um when we
• 1:01:44
do eventually trade pretty much everyone who's worth a shit if we don't get one motherfucking
• 1:01:51
offense alignment in one of these deals I'm gonna lose my shit because Nicholas Pete Freer is
• 1:01:58
one of the worst offensive linemen I've ever seen what the hell happened to this guy like he was
• 1:02:04
like he was never he was never like great or really like he was always solid like he weren't like
• 1:02:13
you counted on him to not be awful and now he's just the worst like he's playing hurt what the
• 1:02:20
hell is going on with this guy if we can't get one just I don't even care if he doesn't work out at
• 1:02:27
least let's try to get someone in the building who's not a human traffic cone because these guys we
• 1:02:32
got right now suck aside from a couple but I mean god like just the fact that we're getting a fifth
• 1:02:38
round pick for dee hop is atrocious when a mari cooper who in my opinion is not really that like
• 1:02:44
he's fine he's nothing special gets a third I don't know that that's mainly what pissed me off
• 1:02:52
yeah um yeah I mean sorry I think I think the titans sign someone off of someone's practice
• 1:03:01
squad and it's kind of like that that guy sucks but to throw him in there maybe he won't suck
• 1:03:12
and like I was hearing someone talk about it on the radio uh I think it was today uh and they were
• 1:03:19
they were talking about right tackle and he's like I mean this was kind of like the year after
• 1:03:24
we drafted LeWon uh like right before we drafted Conklin that they were just like well right sides
• 1:03:33
looking rough who's gonna who's gonna give up the sack this week who what what quarterback are we
• 1:03:39
gonna destroy from the right side this week uh and so that's just kind of what it's turned back to
• 1:03:48
turned back to which is unfortunate but um that's uh I'm just kind of wondering when we're gonna you
• 1:03:57
know if if we're ever gonna be good again I mean I I'm just so indifferent about this team right now
• 1:04:04
I do not care I watch I will watch every game because I guess I kind of I don't know it won't
• 1:04:12
feel as good when we're back up if we ever get back on top it won't feel as good if I don't suffer but
• 1:04:18
I I just do not care yeah I hate to like keep beating a dead horse and you know I I say I've
• 1:04:30
said this many times on this podcast you should have just signed a J Brandt that's all you had to do to
• 1:04:43
not fucking suck for the next five to seven years because that's what our timeline is gonna look like
• 1:04:52
is just a five to seven years of just absolute hell again I've been through this once I've been
• 1:05:00
through it twice I've been through it goddamn three times if you would have signed a J Brown
• 1:05:07
all of your problems would all of these problems would be gone they would be non-existent
• 1:05:14
you would not have to had signed de hop in the first place you for a J Brown money who is
• 1:05:23
what six seven years eight eight even years older than he is you wouldn't have to sign Calvin Ridley
• 1:05:32
who cannot catch a ball he's bitchin about his targets like oh yeah I need to be targeted earlier
• 1:05:39
in the game you had the same amount of targets last week dropped like all of them yeah so I was
• 1:05:47
I was last week I was at work I have to work on Sundays unfortunately I was listening to the game
• 1:05:56
and every like down was just like oh Mason Rudolph he's going for Ridley and incomplete
• 1:06:05
and hit just through his fingertips uh it's drop ball and I'm just like what the fuck are we what
• 1:06:12
can you not catch a ball like what the fuck are we paying you all this money for okay but anyways
• 1:06:21
you could have if you had a J Brown you could have gotten like some if even if you wanted to
• 1:06:28
move on from Tana Hill you probably could have gotten some quarterback on the free on the free
• 1:06:34
agent market that would be worth a shit like you could like turn into Tana Hill like Tana Hill was
• 1:06:42
putting up fucking Mahomes numbers with AJ Brown you get rid of him he's like a bottom 20 quarterback
• 1:06:49
in the league he fucking sucked it's just getting a getting rid of AJ Brown was literally just the
• 1:06:59
male in the coffin oh yeah it was I hate having to repeat myself on it but it's just so true like
• 1:07:09
oh it makes me so mad it was so mad it was the turning point I mean you can look at that
• 1:07:15
exact moment we have been dog shit ever since I mean yeah John Robertson should be impressed
• 1:07:22
and you're talking about Kevin Ridley's targets he's been bitching about his targets the last two
• 1:07:30
weeks you cared a guess how many times a football has been thrown in his direction 24 17 okay 17
• 1:07:38
targets in two weeks in two weeks and he's been he was targeted and he was three catches on nine
• 1:07:46
targets whooped he do last week and then the week before against Indy no kid which that was no catches
• 1:07:53
on eight targets that was one thing that pissed me off when he was like oh I'm just not getting
• 1:07:58
targeted enough it's like you had eight like you had eight targets like what more do you want for a
• 1:08:04
wide receiver two that's insane he had more targets that week than and the week he gets
• 1:08:12
indy than the two previous weeks combined and he's complaining which I mean I don't blame him for
• 1:08:19
signing really because he was a good receiver last year he's just been off well I hear that one
• 1:08:26
one new game against the Jets and I mean he'll get traded and they'll probably end up being amazing
• 1:08:32
I just I mean I'm just back to being like this team sucks I don't really care about anything
• 1:08:39
Brian Callahan he might just be awful he might that fourth down call was horrendous that was
• 1:08:49
the fuck man why would you do that I don't know last week was the first time where it's like
• 1:08:55
oh the coach is just being terrible like before it was like okay the players suck so what do you
• 1:09:03
really expect me to do but last week was like this was one of the worst coach games I've seen
• 1:09:07
from the Tennessee Titans as a whole in year probably since Kray was first year
• 1:09:14
yeah you had a 10 point lead on the Buffalo Bills 34 straight points 34 straight fucking points
• 1:09:25
I had Titans plus nine I was a little I was a little salty oh we want to wrap up
• 1:09:32
  oh yeah we do
• 1:09:38
says a minute left on mine oh really oh shit it's not it's not sure enough on my end
• 1:09:46
and so Titans suck will right yeah Titans suck will take us tight and suck will win on our bets
