- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: Joshua, your host, we got people filling up in the audience here.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you guys being here.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: As always, Kenny Mac is going to be here, helping me do this show in a little bit.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: He ran into some traffic on the way home from work.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: So he's running just a little bit late, but gotta get the show started at five.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: and he'll jump in whenever he's ready to go.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: So if you guys, before we get started here, if you want to come up, questions, opinions, takes, whatever you got for the Browns, anything you want to talk about.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: True says, Canada has traffic.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: I guess, I guess, apparently, I don't know.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: But if you guys want to come up here and talk, like always get your hands up down in the audience.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll just drop your thoughts and comments questions in the chat.

- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of crazy that we've only got four of these left, only three after this one.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: three three previews were like I said we're going to keep doing these discord lives throughout the offseason so we'll we'll do it during the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl and you know free agency and draft and everything it's going to be a ton of fun hanging out with you guys once a week like this but only three previews left after this one it is is insane Stacy says she's going to try to get in before she has to go back to work let's just cut right
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: Gotcha.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I just wanted to, I guess, to kick off that episode by saying, after that titan's game, I don't know how you watched it or anything that he can't be, our possible franchise quarterback.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: That was just like an amazing, amazing game, and I'm really happy to see him do as good as he did.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_04]: But that being said, I just think that
- 2:36[SPEAKER_04]: I hope that the coaching staff can at least see that.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_04]: And I really, really, I've been saying, since day one, I do not want to draft a quarterback.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_04]: Please, I'm so done with drafting a quarterback.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_04]: Like we need to just stick with somebody, work around them, and actually get weapons and see how that goes.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_04]: So that's what I hope that we do.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_04]: And I hope we just continue to build off of that game.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: I agree 100% I, you know, we've had these discussions all year about how weird the handling has been with the whole rookie quarterback situation, Dylan Gabriel and the third, given him first team reps right off the rip all this kind of stuff.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, Shador's the force, just everything that's gone on has been weird.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: But this week, you know, the comments from Kevin and the press conferences and everything.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's different.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Does anybody else get that sense?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Let me know in the chat where you guys think Stacy, what do you think?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: If you've heard his comments or listened to my feel like,
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like he's wouldn't, you know, if Kevin wasn't fully won over at any point before, I feel like he's getting there.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think people are starting to see him.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so I heard it, and I agree.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_04]: I have to say like it seems like he's finally starting to turn around.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's annoying in the first place that he wasn't like team whoever's gonna make our team the best chance to win, you know?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm still annoyed with the whole Dilling Gabriel and how much time they gave him, but you know what it is, but it is where we're hopefully past that now and we don't have to see that guy.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I think I do think he's starting to hopefully turn around a little bit and I mean really if Shador does good, it's going to save him as job.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like that's the only thing potentially that could save his job.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_04]: So why would you not want the guy to do to do good?
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: And then on top of it, like as Brown's fans, how great would it be to laugh in everyone's face that we got this fifth round pick that is potentially, you know, play off quarterback maybe super bowl if we're going to get crazy, but you know what I mean?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_04]: Like,
- 4:29[SPEAKER_04]: It would just be so funny because the Browns history and just like the way that we always seem to be on the losing end to finally like be able to laugh and everyone else's face.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I agree.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we've been through, this is quarterback 42.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: We deserve it.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: Damn it.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: We deserve to have a fifth or half quarterback fall on our lap and be the guy.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: My biggest fear is that he's going to look good, continue to look good throughout the, you know, the rest of this season these
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: In the office season and like draft another quarterback or something like I just I'm afraid that we'll have this great opportunity in front of us and for some reason they just won't take it
- 5:06[SPEAKER_04]: are going to start stupid to Sean and we're going to be looking at him and then oh that we just want should order to sit a little bit longer and oh god please just just let the kid do it just just let him get out there you know.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: I agree 100% I mean and we talked about this last week done a couple of episodes now talking about people saying oh it's just the Titans you know why are you guys getting so excited about the Titans and this is third start against this isn't it's not just not like a college team this isn't you know St. Mary sisters of the poor or whatever you know that you play on a
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's an NFL.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_04]: So I think the Titan's defense is pretty decent like that Simmons guy, that guy's a beast.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: I think they have a couple other pieces.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: Pretty good pieces.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, I understand the record is what it is, but why do that have to do with their offense?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they made me the quarterback that had the exact same or better stats than Shador against the Titans.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_03]: There is not a name out there, and nobody did that against them.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_03]: And Simmons did look amazing.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_03]: Our line may be made him look amazing.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_03]: And that, you know what, the Titans, really?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_03]: That was like a two-headed monster.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_03]: It was Simmons on defense.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_03]: That was pulled it on offense.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: If we could have just erased those two guys, that would have been way better for us.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_04]: In a racer coach, now,
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that that goes to what I was just about to say.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: So if you were to tell me before the Titans Game last week, we did this preview show on Thursday.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: If somebody would have gone in the future and come back and said, Josh, the Browns are going to score 29 points.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_02]: Should orstanders is going to put up four touchdowns against the Titans.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: I would say, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: We got our fourth win.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: No way.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: We just lost to the titans who doing all that.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: We, uh, we, uh, we all know.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes that we put up stats that are like crazy crazy offensive stats or crazy crazy defensive stats and still lost the game is just beyond me.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: It is like I can't that's that's kind of where I am then with with the coaching staff.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: So obviously you guys know I have been like just fire these yahu's get him out of here.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sick of watching this dysfunction on the field every week.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: And but now that shit doors in there and you you mentioned, you know, he could be the only one to save Kevin's job.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you're wrong because if we continue to see development improvement from shit or and the offense continues to look a little bit more
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the best bet for him to keep that starting position at quarterback is to have the consistency of the regime that drafted him and made him the starter now.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be really hard for these guys for this regime to walk it back to say, yeah, I next year we're going to start to shine.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you want to talk about right, like your jobs will be called for before you ever play a game.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: Now I'm sort of in that gray area where it's like what's better for the future of the team because I think
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, it's only been three starts, but I'm very encouraged by what I've seen with Shidorah Sanders, and I expect him to continue to show development and growth over these last four games to expect him to do four touchdowns in almost four hundred yards.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's probably going to be the best game he has this year, and that's fine.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's a great game for anybody to have as their best game.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to see the continued.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_04]: I got to go back to work, but I was just going to say the only other thing too about Shador that I think is annoying me is when people get a sub set about his interceptions and like always through such a bad pick.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: The guy's a rookie number one he's going to have to learn he's on this third game starting he'll get there and if you watch these other games like if any like are you watching the other games in NFL jail and hurt through I don't even know how many interceptions and yeah and and fumbles too and and that game was wild and then it
- 8:43[SPEAKER_04]: Brack Pretty when you know how the game before us that was I think three.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_04]: So like these people that are these quarterbacks that have been in the league are still throwing bad in receptions Why does he not get why does he get such a short leash when it comes to the intersection like it's just it's like everything that he didn't same with the sacks like if you look at the sacks of the other quarterbacks They're all taking sacks
- 9:03[SPEAKER_04]: like strip sacks even some some of the other quarterbacks.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_04]: At least he holds on to the ball.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_04]: So it's just it's just the hate that he gets is so annoying.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_04]: But I know it's also partly probably because he's a fifth round pick and he's working out the way that he is.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure people are a little upset and of course it's the Brown.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_04]: So nobody wants us to do good.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_04]: But that's it.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'll talk to you guys later.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for jumping up your real quick and talking.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate hearing from you.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's partly just his swag or two.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_03]: Some people don't like it.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: They don't like his social media presence.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_03]: It takes a while to get used to.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: There's even probably some cloud about his old man and the way he handles himself.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_03]: And that carries through, Shidorr, and people just didn't like that.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_03]: I used to watch Dion Sanders when he was with the 49ers, the Cowboys, but when he came into the league with the Falcons man,
- 9:53[SPEAKER_03]: He just had this unbelievable swagger.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_03]: Something that wasn't part of the NFL.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I think Shidorah has that.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: And for whatever reason, the traditionalists, let's say, it just kind of rubs in the wrong way.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_03]: The kids having fun, and I think you said it in the last one, like you handles himself in the media really well.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_03]: And he also doesn't.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: fall for any of the bait that Mary Kay and Tony Grossy and all these clowns, I give them.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm I'm very impressed with him right now.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, me too.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: I've been telling people on social media all week like he's doing everything that we've always wanted a franchise type of quarterback to come in here and do off the field and now on the field.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if we had taken him at two overall, if the Browns had drafted Shador Sanders number two overall in the draft, how would we be feeling right now with the way he's played and with the way he's handled himself off the field?
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: We'd be like, I think we got our guy.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_02]: We took him at two and invested that first round pick at work.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: We got him.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so we're out in the fifth round.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's still the same guy.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's still the same player.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, Stacey was talking about the, you know, what other quarterbacks do, other quarterbacks throw under sessions, other quarterbacks are getting sacked and all that kind of stuff.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you guys saw my post about the pressure to sack ratio.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: For Shador Sanders over three starts, puts him number four, I believe it was, overall best pressure to sack ratio in the whole NFL.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: meaning the amount of times that opposing defenses are, you know, applying pressure to the quarterback and converting those into sacks, he's got the lowest, the fourth lowest in the league right now, over three starts.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: Now, that's taking out the Raven's game, which even if you had in that Raven's half, those two quarters were, he got sacked.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: What was it?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember how many times.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's still like ninth.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's still top 10.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: So it's actually pretty impressive.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_02]: What do you know what to do?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_03]: In a throw close to 400 yards, you're going to throw an interception too.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's a gamer, should he have taken that interception back, absolutely?
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, had it been like the one arm punt, like you like to say, like, I mean, if you would have got tackled right away, would we really have been that angry about it?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's the returning yard edge.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_03]: It was the time in the game, and it is what it is, but
- 12:06[SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_03]: That is probably going to be one of his best games of the year.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_03]: If not his best game, he'll probably learn from it.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen him learn all season like guys think about it at the end of preseason the last two quarters, the last two quarters of the Ravens.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_03]: He was kind of like the same guy trying to get out of the pocket, you know, and then then came the Raiders game.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: He threw short and he threw really long, but there was no intermediate stuff.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: then there's a little sprinkle of the intermediate but the biggest thing that I noticed this week man he stepped up into that pocket and when he stepped up in the pocket and couldn't rip it and you guys might have already said this he ran appropriately he ran responsibly you know and I love that because that's what we were missing even baker didn't run that much he's running way more in Tampa if you watch him right now but you got to pick your times or run and sometimes
- 12:56[SPEAKER_03]: the red sea parts and you got to take those yards and that's something we never saw with Dylan Gabriel, man.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_03]: Like that guy just would kind of float to the outside or not pass a line of scrimmage.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: That got us where we needed to be and if he can just take what we saw regardless of what you think about the Titans and just apply that to the bears.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: would be amazing.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean the touchdown run where he kind of scrambled his way out of pressure out of what was probably going to be a sack and was able to maneuver his way out of that and get into the end zone for a touchdown.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you see the athletic quarterbacks in NFL do in that area of the field.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not looking for shit or Sanders to put up 75 rushing yards in the game and be jailing hurts or Justin feels, but to be able to do that and get points on the board
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: A couple of things I wanted to mention real quick, and then Brad, I will get you up here, I promised Kevin and the chat says you can already see massive improvement in how he maneuvers the pocket and keeps his eyes down field.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: You can also actually see him going through his progressions and making some really good decisions.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to talk about that because, yeah, okay, he had the one interception.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: It was bad.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: He was trying to press a little bit.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: The browser down 31 to 17 in the fourth quarter.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: And we can't run the ball.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: We couldn't run the ball.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: It was a tie game.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: So we're definitely not going to be running the ball.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: The Titans know this.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: The run game is out of the question.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: We have to try to get back in this game.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_02]: We have to throw.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_02]: They know that.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: And he was able to still take the team down the field twice, not once but twice, to what should have tied up the game.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was very impressive in that situation to be able to do that.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, absolutely.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_03]: He was very impressive in the game.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_03]: And when you were talking about him, you kind of turned back into the blockers.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: He was able to use his blockers to run up the field.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_03]: It presented himself with some running lanes.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_03]: I just thought, really well, down on his part.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: I was just wish they would have called a better game for him.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_03]: I would say in the first and the third quarter.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: No, sorry.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, was it the first and third quarter?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_03]: They were kind of lulls, you know what I mean?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought there was just too much run, not enough of him, but maybe they took the training wheels off a little bit, maybe they got more comfortable with him, and he deserved what he got for play the calls, and they needed it in the fourth quarter.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they had a choice.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, like, that's it, right?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: This episode is sponsored by Botan Sports.

- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_05]: I was just crashing out.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_05]: Man, we all were.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_05]: We all were alive.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_06]: What are you two doing?
- 17:07[SPEAKER_05]: I couldn't find the perfect crash-outs on you.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_05]: So I just like, yeah, I was going to fall on crash-out because it was just like, like, she's all look great.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, let's talk about everything else that was awful.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_05]: Do we have a clue?
- 17:24[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, we don't have to go for it.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, no, just, man, you know, our defense has been good at home all year and then them for just to like, I mean, we lose one guy on the defense and like nobody can like replace him and let all that run game go on.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_05]: I mean,
- 17:47[SPEAKER_05]: We were we were I'm part of that all are go for almost 200 yards of rushing that game.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know what you know what it reminded me of Brad real quick.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: You see if you agree with me.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: It reminded me of the playoff game down in Houston.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: In 2013 when our defense had been so dominant all year and we're like, okay, we're going down here.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_02]: We got a chance to beat these guys home.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: We already did it once.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: We they got a rookie quarterback CJ Strauss.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_02]: We got this great defense and we got obliterated.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, it was bad.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_05]: Very bad.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_05]: Special teams, we already, we've already exhausted that.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_05]: We already know terrible.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if Bubba is not fired in this off season, I would be beyond shocked.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_05]: But as far as Shodor goes, so I've been moiling this over and moiling this over.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_05]: For me personally and a lot of my other friends agreed with me.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_05]: I need to see
- 18:43[SPEAKER_05]: The last four games, I need to see Shidore progress.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_05]: And I need to see at least that minimum 200 yards passing and a positive touchdown to interception ratio.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_05]: I need to be comfortable saying we don't need a draft to go and I know a lot of people like after the Titan game.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's that's the game.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_05]: Well, let me let me remind you that we've had some rookies on this team balled out for a game and then like the next game was just total ass.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_05]: So just just I want people just to like
- 19:23[SPEAKER_05]: Pemper their emotions on the quarterback because it's been a problem for us for a long time.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_03]: Brad was always not, you know, I totally agree with you.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm raising Shador right now, and I'm praising the progression he's made since he came into the Ravens game.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_03]: That being said, to be realistic, I would just need to see some more stuff.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_03]: Again, with Tommy Reese, what you want is you want a great play action game in some RPO.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_03]: That means he's got a
- 19:51[SPEAKER_03]: 10 yard plays down the field and they may end up into some more yak for whoever and then I would like to see him continue to step up in the pocket deliver those runs when they're necessary and that needs to happen over the next four games and if you can win one or two that would be even better but Josh made a post and one of the biggest things that he seems to be doing is there's a self belief in the offense right now and he's raising the game of the
- 20:21[SPEAKER_03]: of wine, though, but he is on the skilled players, though, and I thought that even if you didn't like the last two-point conversion, I thought there was belief when that call was called that that was going to happen, and there's belief in the team in that play, and it was because of Shidorah Sanders.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_03]: If he continues on the trajectory that he is, I wouldn't see them meeting another quarterback.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_03]: based on what we know about him today, sure, Mary K came out and said they still made draft one.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's still always going to be on the table because we don't know what the next four games is going to be like, but I like what I see.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm realistically, I totally get what you're saying about like, let's just temper those expectations just a little bit.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: But it was great to see what we saw on Sunday.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, I mean, it's...
- 21:10[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's promising and like he showed something that Dylan has it and a lot of other courierbacks we've had haven't.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just in my own expectations for him.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_05]: If I can see, you know, 200 yards and a positive touchdown to interception ratio, be like, all right, we don't need
- 21:35[SPEAKER_05]: And it's hard to do that because the quarterback position has been so exhausting to find for this team.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_05]: Oh.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_05]: And it's when you see so much that, you're like, oh, man.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_05]: My hat somebody and then, you know, then the next four games, you know, he looks, you know, like, you look like DTR.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_02]: And this is not going to look like DTR.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: That I would be going to go.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: That worst worst quarterback to ever play in the NFL.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's got the worst touchdown to interception ratio in history, one to 11, pretty freaking bad.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to take the other side of this here real quick on the Shador thing and say, like,
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: Well, one, I know you're saying like 200 yards in a positive touch on turn or make sure all that stuff.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: Sunday, just to give you guys a quick spoiler for what I'm going to get into here about this game, I'm time for an expectations for this game because they're calling for negative 15, negative 20 winch.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: And we've seen what these, I mean, what these freezing, freezing cold games do to everything in the game.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like I expected to be a lower scoring game.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_02]: then what a lot of people might think being the bears and what the Browns just showed they can potentially do on offense just because of how cold it's going to be.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_02]: And then also like I know people still want to like harp on his completion percent and just stuff like that.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's not thrown anybody.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have anybody to throw to that's that's my other thing I'm trying to keep in the back my mind like okay he's not out here throwing to a Justin Jefferson or CD lamb or you know even like a Terry McClure and level player.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, a practice squad guy and, you know, Jerry Judy, what do you do?
- 23:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it sucks because the evaluation is going to be based on a lot of his stat numbers come the off season.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: We just got to keep in mind what he's working with.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, I mean, I give that, you know, whether.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_05]: I guess I just at minimum I want to see a positive ratio, you know, because it's just we've always seen the negative side of the ratio.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_05]: I want to see more positive side of the ratio, you know.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with the NYC people saying to like a lot of his, the media people saying, well, you know, he's going to be evaluated somewhat on on the winds and losses over this last stretch and I'm like, well, that's bullshit because he showed a one this last game.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: or at least tied it up and given us a chance to go win it over time, it wasn't, you know, people were like, well, you know, the Browns loss.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: So he lost that game.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: I will, I will defend that night and day like he did not lose that game.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: He brought you back with everything with a chance to win that game.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: Your defense lost it from the jump.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: Your head coach screwed it up with stupid decisions.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: That was terrible.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: So I get it.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes a defense doesn't have it, but kind of just the way the type of plane all game.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a game that you got to show up for, man.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that was the most frustrating.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, special teams are still the most frustrating thing.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_03]: The defense not showing up against the Titans was super frustrating.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_05]: When it comes to having some fans,
- 24:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and how I'm hearing around the ASC North, particularly that like every media is basically like, yeah, we got to move on from our head coach and like how our organization like, yeah, everybody's like, yeah fire Kevin, but like they're kind of like not like giving like the inclination that they're going to do that.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_05]: is like, okay, how far the AFC North is falling from Greece when we had like the best record across the board a couple of years ago.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_05]: And now we're like, you know, Joe Burrow is talking about wanting to retire from the bangles basically.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you can read between the lines on it.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's saying directly, but he's not a lot like how, you know, Anderson when he retired
- 25:34[SPEAKER_05]: So, and obviously the bank, he's having the same problem with the cults we're having there.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_05]: They couldn't put a line around them, and, you know, people are losing face and, you know, hardball, people are like, a lot of people have been done for time on for a while because of his terrible playoff record.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they have a man that playoffs want to play.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_05]: I've gave him 10 years.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so And Zack Taylor.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_05]: I think even like when they went to the yearly went to the Super Bowl people were kind of don't as Zack Taylor.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_05]: So But it's like
- 26:12[SPEAKER_05]: that's crazy right now and then you have what was not on my mingle card as far as quarterbacks don't reverse coming out of retirement.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_05]: I mean that was crazy.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, let me come on man.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_05]: That means Kenny could come play quarterback.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_03]: I've had a lot of events and panders, something man.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: Again, there's no way I'm sleeping at all.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the stuff with Kevin is, it is interesting because obviously a lot.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_02]: But when the season wraps up here, then it depends on how these last four games go.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like, if we string together four wins, it's like, okay, shoot.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's cool.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: Something really great happened.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_02]: Or we could just be embarrassing, like we were last week in several weeks this year.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: I, like, I wouldn't be surprised if they fired him and I'm also not going to be surprised if they say we're keeping him for 2026, but I can easily see them go on either way.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, yeah.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I've always been like, you guys know, I'm like, I have been saying to get rid of him and everybody, I like Kevin.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's not that I, it's not the, it's not the personal, it's not that I don't like him.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: I just games like Sunday have happened way too many times in the last six years, you know, and even if we keep him.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: Are you going to be surprised when this kind of thing happens next year again?
- 27:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_03]: The biggest thing is, though, if you're gonna get rid of them, though, so like Brad or Josh, like who's your top candidate then?
- 27:35[SPEAKER_03]: Because I'm not as confident in the candidates that are coming through.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_03]: I hear a lot of John Grootin, you know, talk.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_03]: But that's this is fan talk, guys.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_03]: This is, you know, just kind of what I'm reading in comments.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_03]: And after that, then I don't really know where you would go with that.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like what kind of candidates that you possibly want, you know?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_05]: I've been on a, and I don't know if he'll come out, but I, and I know Blake bashes me on in a little bit, but I've like Lincoln Riley a lot in USC, but I don't know if he'll come and be a head coach here, but he's like the quarterback whisper, and then Chris Shola is another good name, and Kubiak's son is a good one, and
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: I still like the is it Mike.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: I was good to make some Michael a floor out in LA with the rams because Matt floors in in green bay so it's his brother Mike.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: I got there right.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Mike.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: The ms always mess me up.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: something like that Kevin here in the chat says this job would only appeal to a first time head coach who's just looking for an opportunity.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, I think that would be what you're what you're getting, especially with this still.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: We got the dark cloud of the Sean Watson.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be here next year and that's going to, you know, make things.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: interesting, I guess.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_03]: That's the way.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you're if you're ahead, coach and even if it's a first time opportunity, you really want to deal with this dish on Watson stuff, you still like we're going to be able to roll over some cap money.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to be able to get some guys.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_03]: Shoulder is going to be if he continues on the trajectory that he's on.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_03]: We'll attract some people, but we're probably going to have to draft receivers high.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_03]: That can get you some people, but like I mean, if you're jongred, you want to deal with that.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_03]: If you're frank right, you want to deal with that.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: If you're like, you know, whoever gets fired this year, do you want to deal with that?
- 29:38[SPEAKER_03]: Like, those are all tough things to deal with, and like, you got to deal with Jimmy, like, somebody mentioned Clint Kubiak, you know what I mean?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like,
- 29:46[SPEAKER_03]: There's all these guys that could possibly be head coaches and get the hall of hands back in or something.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I don't know, but I haven't put a realistic amount of coaches together, you know, to make a decision for replacing Stephanski, even though his game calling and these last two seasons are driving me crazy.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, for real, I just wait until the season's over, I guess see what happens and see who's actually available because while our situation might not be, you know, the most ideal.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have the giants, the jets, you know, some of these other teams, it's like, well, maybe not even the jets, I think they're probably going to stick with Aaron Glenn for another year.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, sure, the titans, like none of these teams were good.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a couple nice pieces on them as do we.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know, I think either way you look at it, coaches getting fired is usually not a good thing for that team.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, that's my two thoughts about last week.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_05]: Just, you know, I want to see you should or continue to progress.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_05]: And if the Browns could free my boy off of practice got that be cool, bring him up and let him perform for the last four games of the season.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_05]: I'd love to see Luke back out in the field.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_05]: The boy Luke Floria.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_03]: off.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: The average number of the only guys catching balls in the preseason, so you have to be that'll do something.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because we are going to be down to to receive or Senator Tillman and Malachi Coral are both dealing with concussions.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, so maybe Luke will come up.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe maybe not maybe I have to bring up the I got to bring up the injury report anyway for today, but
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so we'll see if maybe maybe thrash will be active this week.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, then, then, then, you know, I like Luke Whiplier.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_05]: He looked pretty good.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't know why he wasn't starting before, but he looked pretty good this game.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if he was playing.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: Apparently you're only allowed to bench white teller for performance.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody else is good to go.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_03]: I know it was a low number of snaps, but I'd like to see him continue on his pass blocking.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see the run blocking and full display based on the windshield that you're giving me.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_03]: I can't imagine either teams going to have too many pass attempts.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_03]: Based on what we're seeing with the temperatures going to be, but I hope he moves forward and can get himself a great for game addition.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_02]: I do too, especially, I mean, one is from Ohio State.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: He was a later round pick and OH, baby.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: I owe and he was very good at Ohio State.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: He was very good in like the preseason games and stuff.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: When he was a rookie in these things, last year he got hurt missed the season.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_02]: So it's encouraging to see that whenever he does have to step in, you know, in a situation like last week, somebody gets hurt, he holds his own.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: He does very good.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: He allowed zero pressures on 24 snaps in a situation in the game, where they knew we had to pass.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: So, again, the same way I was impressed we should do in that situation.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: I was also impressed with Luke Whippler.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, did you want the, did not practice this for today?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, or why don't we go through the, go through the injury stuff?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, so you have Joel Petonio, did not practice.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_03]: Jack Conflend did not practice.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_03]: Mason Graham did not practice.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_03]: In Huntington did not practice.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_03]: Even to Joker, Dylan Samson, Wyatt Teller, Cedric Tilman, and Denzel Ward.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not ideal.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just trying to pull up here, and this is from today, right?
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, okay.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: So DNP is like you said, Ward, so I'm just looking to see what they have.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: Our calf.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: Senator Tillman, concussion and rev... Tillman's not playing this week, and he might not play the rest of the season.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: We saw last year, you got a concussion, he missed what?
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: Six or seven weeks?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not count on Tillman to play again this year.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_02]: Teller, we already knew his out, who won't play again this year, probably.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like you said, Samsung.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: These calf injuries, man, what's going on with everybody having calf injuries?
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: Joku with the knee, that's not great.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: We are going to be very limited in our passing options.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_02]: So Malica Corley was actually limited in practice last two days.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's, I was not expecting to see that.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe his concussion wasn't as bad.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he will suit up.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_02]: But either way, we're going to need a little help.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_02]: Especially if we don't have Tillman and in Joku.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: Kevin says not that Tillman has done much anyway.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: Very.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_02]: very disappointed.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm very, if anybody gets fired outside of above a ventrown, can we just get rid of Chattoshay?
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: Please, like, I don't know what he's done, but yeah, so just the thing, the two coaches that need to be like, just need to go, have secondary titles that go along with their main title.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_02]: So you got Bubba, who's a special team's coordinator, but he's also the assistant head coach.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: Get him out of here, he doesn't need to be doing either one of those things.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_02]: Chattoshay, wide receiver coach, and he's also the passing game coordinator, both of those things suck and have sucked for a long time.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_03]: Get him out of here.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_03]: What are we doing?
- 35:11[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, since Cooper has been gone, there's been nothing.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, that's crazy.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_02]: Crazy, crazy.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Brailin wants to come up.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk to Brailin real quick and then we'll dive into this bear's matchup.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to do him.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, really?
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: And my man, how you been?
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: Good man, for the first time in the show, I just want to say it's a pleasure.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: Glad to have you.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: Glad to have you.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Got a month or two now for my dad, which is the reason why I'm a bronze fan, unfortunately.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: I would just like to come on here and talk to you guys about the upcoming draft for this year.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think from what I've done in terms of scouting and whatnot, because I love watching college football.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you, I think this is a very wide receiver and safety strong draft.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm not saying we really need a draft a lot of safety strength, I think that they dealt with amazing.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: But I think we could probably get rid of Ronnie Hickman and in terms of the wide receivers.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a Louis fan.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: I live in Louis, I live in Kentucky.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I really have no reason to be a bronze fan besides just my family.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: But I've been following them for years anyways.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say, if we could just draft like two or three receivers, I love Chris Bell that plays for Louisville.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's projected to go on like the late second, maybe third.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: If we could do him there, I think it's a steal.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: Just obviously our quarterback's been absolutely terrible.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: Can't throw him the ball.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, I'm out of breath.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: I just had a run away for a second.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: I tried to win the show.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: You're good, man.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and let's say I love Jordan Tyson, but I really think we should just draft Cornell tape.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: Just everything about him stands out.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he'd be an alpha in the lead.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: I agree, you guys, if you follow, you know, I buck out your hand, of course, buck I love him.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: But I just love Colonel Tate.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_02]: I love what he can offer to our offense that we don't have.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: And you think about Shador Sanders, who likes to take these deep shots down the field.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: Colonel Tate has caught 12 out of 14 contested catch throws this year.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: He is amazing at going down and getting the ball winning 50, 50 balls.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: and he's a great route runner.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: He's just you're right.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: He can be an alpha in the league.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Bell.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: I know they just came out and now said he had a torn ACL a couple of weeks ago.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think in one of the games so he'll be
- 37:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of the mock drafts I was looking at a couple of months ago and stuff like had him maybe projected late first round, so yeah, I think maybe second, third round depending on how the medical's clear and all that kind of stuff.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then Jordan Tyson, I mean, if you don't go take, you have to go Tyson, but I think Tyson's injury history, which I haven't really dive that deep into yet.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: We kind of wait until after the season is over, the NFL season to really start doing our prospects stuff.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't know, the injury stuff just worries me with what we've seen in Cleveland.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the 17.5 yard average, that's something that I want to see.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_03]: These guys that are 6364, they're about 200 pounds, Mike Evans, and these guys that play in the league, they really can help their quarterbacks out, especially having that special talent of winning the 50-50 ball, because it seems like when Cardinal Tates there, it's going to be 70-30, but I mean, and I'm not just trying to be a Buckeye Homer here, like he's
- 38:18[SPEAKER_03]: plays well in that position, and the 50-50 ball is huge part of the NFL, and we don't really have anybody that can do that right now.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_03]: Other than I really like the one that Harold Fan and Junior got in the end, so I think you should do our put it right in the right in the spot where it needed to be, and he got that rebound football and like, took it, took it down, man, that was amazing.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I also like to bring another point that's good for you guys.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: draft.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: The judge's raiders, I think a few other teams, some some dude said the rams because Matt's death had my retire after this year.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, if we could trade that and then possibly get three first round picks next year and like two of the year after that, I think we're talking about if we play our cards right, just the youngest team in the NFL in terms of starting rookies.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think we might already be.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, what do we have this year for?
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, maybe not starting, but 14.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: We have 14 rookies on the last one.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's a lot.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_03]: We got way too many UDFAs.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: We got way too many first and second year players.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: And that's why you see all these mistakes.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: That gets backed.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: for me with Stephansky when he makes these play calls.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, you're using really young players.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_03]: I would rather like, you know, Kansas City Chiefs can get away with that, but they're super veteran, right?
- 39:35[SPEAKER_03]: As far as seeing like, I like your idea, I'm 50, bro.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how many years of tanking I can handle anymore.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_03]: You know what, I just don't want to see it tired of it, right?
- 39:44[SPEAKER_03]: But again, like, if it gets to that way, I'm a Browns fan through and through.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to be young again, get, you're talking about building through the draft, right?
- 39:53[SPEAKER_03]: And we got to clear some dead out because of Dishon.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, that could be likely.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, anything else, Braylon?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: No, thank you guys so much.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: This is a love what you guys do.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: Ultimate respect to you guys and all the bronze fans out there hanging there, right?

- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: Is there anything else you wanted to touch on before we go into the Bears game?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_03]: Now let's get in the bears game and let's talk.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: Let's put this one to bed.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't a win and we saw what we need to see and let's move forward.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to do my speel and you guys just listen along and then anything I say or anything you guys want to talk about after I'm done.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_02]: Get your hands up and we'll bring up.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so on Sunday, we got the three and 10 Cleveland Browns heading to the Wendy City to face the nine and four Chicago Bears, Bears are seven and a half point favorites, the over under 38.5, the Browns are plus three, 30 to win the game.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: On Calshy, which we're doing some Calshy promotions now, if you go over there right now, the Browns have just a 24% chance to win the game.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: So if you guys think there's a chance,
- 42:34[SPEAKER_02]: The Browns pull off the upset in this very cold, maybe ground battle type of game.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: You can get a pretty nice return over on Calshia's Calshia.com slash dogs, get you $20 when you trade $100 by using our link.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll talk about stats and things, but you guys know as well as I do that coming off and embarrassing loss to the one and eleven tightens at home.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is a game against the bears.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's totally one of the Browns we'll just go and win and really confuse everybody.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like you know that's just how things go sometimes.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: Is that what I'm betting on happening?
- 43:03[SPEAKER_02]: No, but, again, nothing shocks me at this point.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: This bears offense with Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually fifth in the league, 370 yards per game.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_02]: They're about middle of the pack and passing, but they are the second best rushing offense in the NFL at 152 yards per game.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_02]: And that is not good for the Browns defense that has been getting absolutely gashed.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_02]: By running back this season, we started out strong the first three weeks.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_02]: We allowed just 57 rushing yards per game.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_02]: We were great.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: Ever since the Lions game when Jamir Gibbs torqued us, the Browns have now allowed 114 yards per game, since then the only game that we've held in the opponent under 90 was the freaking Raiders.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: In that stretch we had games, we had a game of 177 allowed, that was the Patriots, and two games of 184 yards allowed on the ground, that was the Ravens and the Titans.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: So the Andre Swift, Kyle Menongai, they have turned into a nasty running back duo for the Bears this season.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mentioned it before and they're calling for negative 15, negative 20 winch, I fully expect the bears to run at us over and over.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_02]: We cannot stop the run and those two backs, I think are just going to feast.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_02]: It also makes sense because that's what the Titans did to very much success.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: Limit the number of quarterback drop-ax, take Miles Garrett out of the game.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: Who up the time of possession, and when they do drop back, Caleb Williams is actually having a pretty strong second season in the NFL.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_02]: Last year's number one overall pick, he's got 2,900 yards, 19 touchdowns and just six interceptions on the year.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's taken only 26.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: Chicago is top three in the NFL and protecting the quarterback.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: they allow just one and a half sacks per game.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_02]: So if Miles Garrett is going to break the sack record this week, he's got his work cut out form.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_02]: Now on the flip side, Chicago's defense is a little bit interesting.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: They allow the sixth most yards per game at 357, 225 passing 132 rushing.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: So an offense can move the ball in these guys.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: They also allow 25.8 points for games.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_02]: So you know, we'll see if the Browns offense with some newfound life and energy can actually do
- 45:11[SPEAKER_02]: where should door in the offense needs to be very careful.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: The bears defense leads the NFL in takeaways with 27.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's a two takeaways per game on average.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: So ball security needs to be an even bigger focus this week than it has been, especially for should door because the 27 takeaway number includes 18 interceptions.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_02]: and then also speak in turn over Chicago's offense has the second fewish turnovers in the league so they clearly emphasize and execute on both sides of the ball in that department.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: Kenny thoughts on the game?
- 45:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: The plus 17 turnover margin is something that our Browns just turn the ball over whether it's special teams, whether it's our offense,
- 46:01[SPEAKER_03]: But going from the Wildcat doesn't matter seems who's in there, we're turning it over.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_03]: In this game, the one thing I've never liked about Safanski, I've been on with these guys for many, many years, and the one thing he does not do well is bully ball.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: And this is a bully ball game.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_03]: You just have to get down.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_03]: Your line has to get some push, bloody your nose.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody's gonna make some tackles.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's just gonna be a hard nose game, and we just don't ever seem to perform well.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I can tell you guys will remember the New Orleans Saints game.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_03]: It was, uh, what, last year it was what minus 23.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_03]: Which is a ridiculous 22.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: 22.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_03]: Why is, oh, is it 20?
- 46:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so when it was, it was still an awfully cold game.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Payton came in here with his, you know,
- 46:53[SPEAKER_03]: two in whatever team and they just taught us a new lesson on how to play bully ball and we just never ever have done it well.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_03]: We lost to the Raiders in 2021 and the kind of the same fashion where we had all four seasons of Cleveland of weather going on and
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: They just ran us over to a 10 7 or 13 7 win like we just don't do it well for I would like to see somebody push somebody around and that's mainly our offensive line push their defensive line around for once and we'll
- 47:29[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think so.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm about as optimistic as Josh is.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: I just see the ball being run down our throats and not being able to do anything because that's what we saw last week and they had no answer for it and I don't think the signing of Marie's first to the practice squad's going to change anything on that.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: No, but I do like game belly rubs back on the team that and I'm not going to be sarcastic like I really like My research I always liked him.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_02]: I like to have him on the team and I'm glad to have him back and actually Kenny was Dennis Allen not Sean Peyton who came in here and beat us That's right.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, in 2020.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: So that's another thing.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_02]: So he took over for Sean.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot
- 48:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, people will say like cold weather does not impact the game of football.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like really that much, it's the wet, it's whenever it's snowing, raining, and when it's windy.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: But freezing cold temperatures, that's a different story.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: So when we're talking like this game's going to be, you know, 28 degrees or 34 degrees, or sometimes it's really not that big of a deal.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever you're talking negative,
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: negative numbers.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's brutal.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: And we definitely saw that in 2022.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_03]: It was it was bad.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_03]: And like if you just take a look at Shelby Harris and you take a look at my college junior, you take a look at their their run stats on PFF.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_03]: It was not good.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: And I just don't see that getting much better.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: No, Brad, what's going on, man?
- 48:55[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, with me and you'll be in a world of pyramid
- 49:02[SPEAKER_05]: Um...
- 49:04[SPEAKER_05]: Uh... Voila!
- 49:06[SPEAKER_05]: It's gonna be a winner, Wonderland on Sunday, apparently.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_02]: Was it supposed to snow?
- 49:11[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know if it was supposed to be precipitation or just freaking cold.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure at that degree, it'll, if anything, it'll still be light.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you'll probably have some snowflakes.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it's gonna be like a snowball game or like a blizzard or anything, but these are probably like procrastination most likely.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Chicago is, you know, cold for a reason.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, they have that that weird like wind that comes through there.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, because of the city, how the city set up.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm pretty cool for this game, man.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, let's look at positive things.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_05]: Um, um,
- 50:01[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, I think at minimum miles should get a sack, um, where that will be in the game who knows, um, I still think he'll get a sack this game.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_05]: Depending how the wind and the cold is, it's going to be back and forth running the ball and door passes, screen passes, uh, and around stuff like that that we don't do really great at ever.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and, uh, yeah, I mean,
- 50:39[SPEAKER_05]: It's probably gonna be a low scoring game.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_05]: I could see this being kind of like a back and forth field goal game, which is also not great for when it's cold out.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, but yeah, I think I think to be close game, but you know, hopefully,
- 51:02[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I'm hoping that you can continue to, uh, progress and get the ball down the field a little bit.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_05]: But I could see this being something like a, uh, 13 to 7, 13 to 10 kind of game somewhere in there.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_03]: Well, and it'll probably be one of the biggest things I feel a lot more comfortable with Shador and that this short game is he has a better feel for the screen game overall.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: I like how he sets guys up.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_03]: He just kind of puts it right when the running backs in stride, not the running back has a stop.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: And then go, you've lost too much time on a screen at that point.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_03]: The other thing is the way that Miles played the game last week.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I love Miles.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_03]: I thought he shot too far up the field last week, and that was leading to the big gashes that you saw last week as well.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_03]: If they can just show that up, I don't know if that was a game plan or what that was, but that just never changed the entire game and that was really frustrating to see.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_03]: So hopefully that shorts it itself up, which it should because I can't imagine anybody in this weather that we...
- 52:12[SPEAKER_03]: think it's going to be it can deep dropbacks right so he shouldn't have the line that far up to and make that way to gap so that should show up for sure but I'm feeling good about with the way our game isn't that overall so we'll see what happens on Sunday but we'll see the way the way this game is not low scoring or close is if
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the bears come out here and just write down the field every time they have the ball on the ground.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, because if it's a game where like monungai and Swift, each have like 75 plus yards rushing, forget it, forget it.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the game in a high time of possession and we're not going to see the defense get gasped, and someone's going to break a big one.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I mean, I, I can see this game being who has the best Titan that can catch where they're
- 53:05[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I will say I'll take care of fan and man.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_02]: I like him.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_02]: I like the course of love.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's a nice young player, too, but.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like my hair.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_03]: Because doesn't the bear's not that other tight end, too.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's the same.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_03]: Come at.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_03]: They got loveland.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: We got no joke.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_03]: And fan ends.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, there's your tight ends.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_03]: Go around.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_05]: I think it would be a tight end.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_05]: I think girl wide receivers are going to have.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty low target numbers.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_05]: and even like the bears, I think they'll be kind of lower on the target market margin, I mean, especially as Cole has a game is going to be.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_05]: But we'll see, I mean, I mean, Patrick went homes and Josh Allen were throwing in the ice bowl game back in the playoff, so I don't know.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_05]: Why don't remember the dinner of that game?
- 53:55[SPEAKER_05]: It was Cole.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_05]: It was really cold.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they'll get both Sanders and Amari Marshall up and we'll be doing a bit of the what do you call it the wishbone offense like we did with Baker back in the the cold game against it.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was a cold game against the Panthers in the 2020 or 2019 or something.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's I mean get some big backs out there, where I'm down.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, that's, it should be interesting game just, you know, you know, Blake was like, man, it'd be nice to have our young rookie quarterback play and bad, you know, good weather.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, no, I'm one of the play and bad weather because he won't be able to play that stay him till 20, 29, Trent the earliest.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_05]: So he needs to get used to the crappy weather.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he played in Colorado.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_05]: So I mean, the weather is not great either.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_05]: Oh.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I mean, yeah, let's see how that does.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_03]: He definitely looked, well, collected.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't seem like the elements bothered him and cleave them last week.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: That looked great, and I mean, it just kind of permeated itself through the team.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_03]: And that's how they got as close as they did.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, absolutely.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: Why, why I wanted to go back real quick.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Kevin's still in here, but he made a comment earlier in the show when we first were getting started
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: Moving on from the Chicago Bears, we're not even moving on, including the Chicago Bears game.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_02]: These last four games, we've got some what he called formidable opponents.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_02]: in this stretch so obviously you've got playoff teams like you got the bears the next week you got the bills a week after that you got the Steelers all three right now are playoff teams and then you got to wrap up the season with the Bengals down in Cincinnati so there's some good teams some good defensive some good competition we're going to be going against and it's it's I'm excited to see how he performs in these situations because I mean
- 55:55[SPEAKER_02]: I like what I have seen.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_02]: I really do.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_02]: I can't stress that enough.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_02]: The progression from one game to the next the way I feel like he is learning from mistakes and not repeating the same mistakes is encouraging because you see quarterback so many times and how many times do we complain about Baker Mayfield and his happy feet when he was getting pressure in the pockets like dude calm down like you're okay get up.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: work on these things.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like the things that we, everyone was concerned about with shadores, either already gotten rid of them or in the process of it.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: So it's, I'm encouraged.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_03]: We just got a this audition for the next four games.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_03]: We just got to see that continue to happen in every single game So we'll see what he can do against the bears, but like you said with it with the way that they turn the ball over We just He needs to minimize that the most like us like the biggest expectation for him and then protecting the ball You know like I said in this cold game and this cold weather and just managing that game the way it needs to be managed
- 56:56[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll see what that's going to be a telltale sign of a rookie to see how he's kind of progressed.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_03]: And hopefully, yeah, that Colorado experience and the elements helps.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: And kind of go with the turnover thing.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_02]: Just real quick before we wrap it up here, quick key to the game for me, like offense, ball security.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_02]: Just mentioned top priority.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: They lead the league and takeaways.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_02]: They lead the league and pick.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_02]: So it should or needs to be high-prefocused on that.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_02]: got to limit drives behind the chains.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: So it feels like we start at least one of every two drives behind the chains on either first or second, whether it's a penalty or a run for zero yards or even a bad return on a kick, we constantly put our offense in difficult positions.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_02]: And no stupid coaching decisions, please.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_02]: If we're in field goal range, take the freaking points.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_02]: If it's fourth and one in our own territory, just punt.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_02]: And no more wildcat, please.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think fans are kind of just sick of it at this point.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: It worked the first few times because it was new.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: But now teams just stuff quench on up the middle, because that's all we run out of it.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_02]: And the one wrinkle we've seen out of that formation was a total disaster.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_02]: So please, no more wildcat this week.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: Just leave Shador on the field.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_02]: Let him make a play.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: Stop the freaking run.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_02]: Do what the Titans did to us and what the bears are likely going to do to us.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: Stop the run.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: Make them beat you through the air.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_02]: We have a relentless pass rush.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_02]: A good secondary.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: But those things mean nothing if they are ripping off eight yards of carry.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't agree more.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to see a little bit more run game from us.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_03]: If you were getting through the stats, especially with Tevin Jenkins, you were saying he was pretty highly regarded as far as the best run on the team.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so he's a breast run on the team, um, I like to see what Whiplier has and let's get Quint Chan going because that's exactly what we need.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_03]: I do want to see one of the bigger backs in the game, just to wear guys down and use Samson accordingly.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_03]: The running game's going to be vitally important this and we need Chador to get the ball.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like to see regardless of the temperature, I like to see two deep shots down the field.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully we get one of them to kind of loosen the defense up.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_03]: And then I think you already heard what I said on defense.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_03]: Sure up the run game, I'm gonna agree with Josh on that, but we can't have miles firing up the field and not worrying about gap integrity.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you guys are gonna just have to clamp down on the edge, contain and stop this and make them one-dimensional and make Caleb throw because like you said, they're pretty close as far as past run is.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're close to 2000 running and they're 3000 almost 3000 passing.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_03]: predictable and that's not set them up for these fantastic plays that and Johnson seems to figure out and score big touchdowns on.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_03]: So stay home boys, stay home on your defensive lanes.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_02]: And you might get your wish this weekend.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_02]: You might get to see Rocket Sanders because I forgot.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_02]: Jerome Ford is on IR.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's done for the season.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: and Dylan Sampson's not practicing so even if he does play we're still down to two running backs in the second one's banged up so we might see I think at least be active and we'll see if he ends up getting any carriers or not but that'd be exciting to see.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_03]: I know they got trevy on Williams as well.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_03]: They resigned him to the team and he was returning kicks for the San Diego Chargers.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_03]: So he more than likely will be taking Jerome for a spot on special teams and then will he get some play?
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_03]: He looked great in the passing game in the preseason, but that's just a preseason.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_03]: He has the feel for it, which is great.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_03]: And he probably has the feel for it and practice with Stodor.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see what happens with that running game.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_03]: The reason why I want the rocket there, we were big on him and the Browns drafting him later in the rounds.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_03]: Also, he's about 230 pounds.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that would go a long way in this bully ball game that I'm telling you about.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_03]: So buckle down, bloody some noses, and let's roll.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_02]: Play football.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think is what you're saying, right?
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_02]: Just play something to tell you, man.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm what, oh, last thing I don't want to see, quit trying to be the smartest people in the room, trying to freaking out a smart everybody in it, always comes back to bite us in the butt, every time.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean you were saying earlier like go take the points when they're there like get the field goals develop your kicker make him kick a an extra point after when you're two touchdowns down the game so it's a feel for make him kick an extra point when the games on the line and tie it up is it that dad now based on the way that our seasons going that these guys experience a tie get that let that sink in their heads I mean it wasn't the loss is it something
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_03]: with this young team, it's like it said before.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you're veteran, maybe try some of that stuff, but just get them to do the basics and get out of the season and let's handle next year.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what I was saying on the show the other day.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like this is my issue with the way the Browns utilize analytics, because I don't care if the analytics would tell you in a specific situation, time in the game, score, all that stuff.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, it's fourth and one year on this yard line, go for it.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: we don't look at our offense.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_02]: We're not an offense who can just walk out there and be like, oh yeah, we'll just go forward and forth and when we don't get it, that's fine.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_02]: No, we can't, we don't have the luxury of giving up points when they're available to us.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_02]: Take the point, you've got to, that's what I hate about the analytics.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_02]: You have to take things into consideration with the, the confines of your team.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_02]: Your team sucks on offense.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_02]: You guys can't score points very easily.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_02]: Take them when they're there.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_03]: And you don't have a pinch receiver.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_03]: Pinch receivers, you get you at first down in a pinch.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_03]: And we don't have one.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_03]: We just don't have it.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: You can't do it.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_03]: And doesn't matter what you draw up.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_03]: It just shows us here that the guys are too young.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm not getting it.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_02]: Fourth and short situations have always been bad under Kevin.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: They've been maybe the play calls been good.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, oh, the design was nice.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_02]: The execution has always sucked.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_02]: Always.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_02]: It backfires more than it ever works.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, appreciate everybody tuning in, Kenny.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for jumping in here and doing another preview show with me.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_02]: Only three of these left.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like the season is just blown wide and I feel like it's fast.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's gone fast at the same time.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it's been forever because I feel like we've had the Joe Flacco season, the Dylan Gabriel season, now the Shador season.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: it's crazy when you're doing this.
