- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkgirl Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day. If you become the
- 0:24Speaker 1: hawt Girl energy you want to attract. I just want
- 0:26Speaker 1: to start off this episode by saying, I feel like
- 0:28Speaker 1: the weather has been so crazy. I don't know if
- 0:31Speaker 1: anyone else is currently dealing with spring one day and
- 0:36Speaker 1: then you know, summer another day, and then winter the next.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Like it has been like really nice days where it
- 0:42Speaker 1: feels like fifteen degrees out, which is nice for us
- 0:46Speaker 1: here in Ontario, and we'll be outside, you know, no coats, whatever,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and then the next day it will be like pouring rain,
- 0:52Speaker 1: really cold, and it's like, okay, well whatever rains whatever.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And then the following day it will be like snow,
- 0:58Speaker 1: Like it will wake up to a bunch of snow
- 0:59Speaker 1: with it, Like what is going on? Like is it spring?
- 1:02Speaker 1: Is it winter? Like just a weird time of the year,
- 1:05Speaker 1: but obviously it's still winter and spring doesn't officially start
- 1:08Speaker 1: untill later this week. But it's just funny to me
- 1:11Speaker 1: how the weather has been such an interesting day, Like
- 1:15Speaker 1: I feel like you wake up and you never know
- 1:16Speaker 1: what it's going to be. Like, I'm like, do I
- 1:18Speaker 1: wear a coat? Do I not? It's just that time
- 1:20Speaker 1: of the year where it's weird weather and yeah, you
- 1:23Speaker 1: know what, at least the sun is shining today, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: I can take that as a positive going into the day.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I wanted to record an episode about my relationship with
- 1:30Speaker 1: food because I feel like my eating habits have really
- 1:34Speaker 1: evolved since I was in my early twenties to now,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and I feel like I definitely have a very different
- 1:41Speaker 1: relationship with food than I did when I was younger.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And I feel like this might relate to a lot
- 1:46Speaker 1: of girls who are currently going through either a healing
- 1:50Speaker 1: journey or maybe someone that can relate to going through
- 1:53Speaker 1: maybe a difficult time with a relationship with food and then,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you know, finally coming to a realization of a happy
- 2:00Speaker 1: spot with food. And I think food is such an
- 2:04Speaker 1: interesting topic because I think a lot of people, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 1: sometimes don't realize the relationship that they have with food
- 2:10Speaker 1: and how it's impacting themselves on a day to day basis.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And I'm not a nutritionist, you know, sometimes I think
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm like, should I you know, get some schooling done
- 2:20Speaker 1: and become one, because I am so fascinated by how
- 2:25Speaker 1: food is such an important part to our bodies and
- 2:27Speaker 1: how like literally certain foods that we eat can really
- 2:30Speaker 1: play a huge impact in our mood and how we feel.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I don't know, I just feel like I've always been
- 2:34Speaker 1: very interested in learning about the way that food is
- 2:37Speaker 1: and like the magic behind it and all that. And
- 2:39Speaker 1: then I also thought I would share some recipes that
- 2:42Speaker 1: I've been loving because I've definitely been trying out a
- 2:45Speaker 1: lot of new recipes trying to incorporate new food groups
- 2:48Speaker 1: into my day to day life, and figured it would
- 2:51Speaker 1: be a good opportunity to just to kind of share
- 2:53Speaker 1: things that I'm loving currently. I love hearing recipes and
- 2:56Speaker 1: hearing what people are eating and what they're you know,
- 2:58Speaker 1: trying out. I also love watching YouTube around that. So yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 1: just like love the whole idea of like hearing what
- 3:04Speaker 1: people are eating and what they do for meals. It
- 3:06Speaker 1: just kind of gives you some inspiration. It gives me
- 3:08Speaker 1: some inspiration to try out new things. So yeah, I
- 3:11Speaker 1: thought it would do the episode around that. Before we
- 3:13Speaker 1: get into that, I thought we could do a little
- 3:15Speaker 1: bit of a weekly recap. This past weekend, it was
- 3:17Speaker 1: my sister's twenty sixth birthday, which is so crazy because
- 3:22Speaker 1: I feel like when you're the older sister and you
- 3:24Speaker 1: see your younger sister just like grow up and see
- 3:27Speaker 1: your enter like a new chapter every single year, it's
- 3:30Speaker 1: just truly, I don't know, such a shocking experience. I
- 3:32Speaker 1: still see her as like my young little sister and
- 3:35Speaker 1: not the woman that she is now, and like she
- 3:38Speaker 1: has a career now, and like she just has her
- 3:40Speaker 1: shit together, and I'm so proud of her. But I
- 3:43Speaker 1: just feel like every year, like when we celebrate a
- 3:45Speaker 1: new age for her, it's always just such a crazy
- 3:49Speaker 1: thing to see. I don't know if anyone knows this,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but me and my sister are actually four years apart,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and I feel like I've gotten a few questions asking,
- 3:55Speaker 1: like our relationship and like has it always been the
- 3:57Speaker 1: way that it is, of like us being so close,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and and did you guys ever have like difficult times?
- 4:02Speaker 1: We have definitely had not the most perfect relationship in
- 4:05Speaker 1: the world, I think, obviously, like as you grow up,
- 4:07Speaker 1: it was always difficult, like when I was four and
- 4:10Speaker 1: she was a baby, obviously, like that was never an issue,
- 4:12Speaker 1: like very easy to like kind of you know, adapt
- 4:15Speaker 1: with a toddler, but I think it was really like
- 4:18Speaker 1: hard for both of us. When she was in elementary
- 4:21Speaker 1: school and I was going to high school, I never
- 4:23Speaker 1: had a very good relationship with her. I think I
- 4:25Speaker 1: was very embarrassed of having a younger sister. I know
- 4:30Speaker 1: that sounds crazy right now, but like back in the day,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I just feel like I would be scared that she
- 4:34Speaker 1: would embarrass me, and like I wanted to look cool
- 4:36Speaker 1: in front of my friends, and you know, because she
- 4:38Speaker 1: was so much younger, I just like never really got
- 4:41Speaker 1: along with her, and like we had our differences, and
- 4:43Speaker 1: I think it's always really tough when you guys are
- 4:45Speaker 1: in two different phases in your life, and we fully
- 4:47Speaker 1: were in two different phases, and I think that's when
- 4:49Speaker 1: it was kind of hard to be in a close
- 4:51Speaker 1: relationship with her. Of course, during that time, we were
- 4:54Speaker 1: still sisters and like got along, but I wouldn't say
- 4:56Speaker 1: like we were friends. We were sisters. We're family, Like
- 4:59Speaker 1: we're obviously I love each other no matter what, But
- 5:01Speaker 1: we didn't have a very close relationship. I wouldn't say
- 5:04Speaker 1: we got close really until my sister went to university,
- 5:07Speaker 1: and then I was graduating college or fully had a
- 5:10Speaker 1: corporate job. That's when we started to get really close.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And that kind of like flourished our friendship and we
- 5:16Speaker 1: became even closer and closer, and I would say, like
- 5:20Speaker 1: the last three years, we've been the closest we've ever been,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and it's truly been the best thing ever. Like having
- 5:27Speaker 1: a sister that's your best friend is like literally the
- 5:30Speaker 1: best thing ever. Like if you have two girls right
- 5:32Speaker 1: now or two young boys, and like you're wondering if
- 5:35Speaker 1: your kids will ever be best friends in life, whether
- 5:38Speaker 1: there's a large age gap or not. I personally think
- 5:42Speaker 1: that regardless, eventually they will be friends. Even if it
- 5:46Speaker 1: is tough for a little bit, they will find their
- 5:48Speaker 1: way to each other. And I remember my mom telling
- 5:50Speaker 1: me like years ago when me and my sister were
- 5:53Speaker 1: fighting and I'm like, oh, I wish I never had
- 5:54Speaker 1: a sister, blah blah blah. My Mom's like, one day,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you are going to thank me for having a sister,
- 5:59Speaker 1: Like I just remember her telling me that word for word,
- 6:01Speaker 1: like you are going to thank me one day for
- 6:03Speaker 1: having her, And here I am to this day literally
- 6:07Speaker 1: thanking God and my mother for blessing me with a
- 6:10Speaker 1: sister who is literally my twin the same personality, Like
- 6:13Speaker 1: I couldn't have ass for about our sister. So anyways,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I just kind of wanted to share that because I
- 6:17Speaker 1: feel like a relationship with the sister is also something
- 6:20Speaker 1: that I've never really talked about, but I think it's
- 6:22Speaker 1: such a blessing to have a sibling, and I am
- 6:25Speaker 1: very grateful that we have such a close relationship. And yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 1: so we celebrated her this weekend. We went to the spa,
- 6:31Speaker 1: we had a girl's dinner together, and then I think
- 6:33Speaker 1: she's doing another thing with her friends this weekend that
- 6:35Speaker 1: she also invited me to. So yeah, we're just celebrating her,
- 6:39Speaker 1: which is super nice. We're like twenty five days apart,
- 6:42Speaker 1: so my birthdays in two weeks from now, so I've
- 6:46Speaker 1: been in the full on party planning mode these past
- 6:50Speaker 1: two weeks. I feel like I've been trying to show
- 6:52Speaker 1: up on social media, but also like behind the scenes,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm like signing contracts, trying to figure out, you know,
- 6:57Speaker 1: things that I need to hire for this birthday party.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But I went all out, I really did. I was like,
- 7:03Speaker 1: fuck it, I'm just gonna like, go full out. I
- 7:06Speaker 1: posted something on Instagram saying like should I go full
- 7:08Speaker 1: out or should I just be like, you know, do
- 7:10Speaker 1: something chill, And everyone was like, just go full out.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what, You're right. It's my thirtieth
- 7:15Speaker 1: this might be my last big party that I do.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I went full out. I really did, and I'm so
- 7:20Speaker 1: excited to share with you guys the theme and just
- 7:23Speaker 1: like everything, It's going to be so fun. I did
- 7:25Speaker 1: actually end up hiring a content creator, which is kind
- 7:28Speaker 1: of crazy, but I'm like, you know what, I want
- 7:30Speaker 1: to get as much content out as possible, and sometimes
- 7:33Speaker 1: I feel like I need the help because obviously I
- 7:35Speaker 1: want to be like living in the moment, but also
- 7:37Speaker 1: like getting the stuff on tape. So one of my girlfriends,
- 7:40Speaker 1: who literally does this for a living, she does content
- 7:42Speaker 1: creation for businesses, she was like, I can I can
- 7:45Speaker 1: help you out. I'll help you film stuff throughout the night,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh my god, you're amazing. So it's
- 7:49Speaker 1: going to be great just to have someone help me
- 7:51Speaker 1: behind the scenes to record some stuff and also keep
- 7:53Speaker 1: you guys in the loop throughout the party, make it
- 7:56Speaker 1: feel like you guys are there with me. And we're
- 7:58Speaker 1: having a fun time together. So I'm very excited about that.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I cannot believe I turn thirty in literally like twenty days,
- 8:05Speaker 1: maybe less than twenty days now actually, and then it's
- 8:08Speaker 1: my husband's thirtieth next week. So me and my husband
- 8:10Speaker 1: were both aries. We're eleven days apart. I don't know
- 8:13Speaker 1: if you guys knew that, but we're both yeah and aries,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and we're very similar, which I kind of love. We're
- 8:18Speaker 1: both like very fire personality and I don't know, we
- 8:22Speaker 1: just like I love that we're both aries. I think
- 8:24Speaker 1: it's really fun and it makes a relationship really enjoyable.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But I'm surprising him with a trip and I'm so excited.
- 8:33Speaker 1: We're going away next weekend. He has no idea that
- 8:35Speaker 1: I booked a trip for him, and I think he's
- 8:37Speaker 1: going to be very excited to have a little trip
- 8:41Speaker 1: to look forward to. So not only have I been
- 8:43Speaker 1: planning my birthday, but I've also been planning my husband's birthday.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And if you have a husband or a boyfriend, you
- 8:49Speaker 1: know that they don't really like their birthday celebrated. Zachly
- 8:51Speaker 1: was like, I don't want anything, like, don't please, don't
- 8:54Speaker 1: surprise me. With anything, and I'm like, okay, well, obviously
- 8:57Speaker 1: I'm going to surprise you with something because I'm a
- 8:59Speaker 1: birthday and I want to celebrate my husband and he
- 9:01Speaker 1: deserves to be celebrated, especially on his thirtieth birthday. So
- 9:05Speaker 1: of course I was like, no, I'm not listening to you,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and I'm going to do something for you. And I
- 9:10Speaker 1: still kept it like what he would want, and I
- 9:14Speaker 1: think that's all that matters. Like he doesn't want the
- 9:16Speaker 1: big party, he doesn't want that type of shit like
- 9:18Speaker 1: I want that he doesn't, so I'm, you know, making
- 9:21Speaker 1: sure that I do something more like private and intimate
- 9:23Speaker 1: for him where it's more so just him and I
- 9:25Speaker 1: versus like a big party. So I think he's gonna
- 9:28Speaker 1: love the trip and I think it will be a
- 9:29Speaker 1: great way to start his thirties. So that's kind of
- 9:32Speaker 1: been a little A life update is really just kind
- 9:34Speaker 1: of birthday party planning, really trying to coordinate all the
- 9:38Speaker 1: things that I need to coordinate before these next few
- 9:41Speaker 1: weeks and they're gonna get real hectic. But make sure
- 9:44Speaker 1: to be following me on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Of
- 9:46Speaker 1: course I'm going to be logging the entire experience through
- 9:49Speaker 1: my camera. But let's get into today's episode. Okay, So
- 9:53Speaker 1: let's talk about my relationship with food and kind of
- 9:56Speaker 1: where it started versus where it is now. So the beginning,
- 10:01Speaker 1: I want to say, back in twenty eighteen, maybe twenty seventeen,
- 10:08Speaker 1: around there, I was very like overweight. I would say
- 10:13Speaker 1: I was like pretty heavy. I was eating out literally
- 10:16Speaker 1: every single weekend. I was buying chips, I was buying
- 10:20Speaker 1: gummy bears every single weekend. Me and my husband when
- 10:23Speaker 1: we were dating, we were like going through the phase
- 10:26Speaker 1: of just like you're in a new relationship, you're going
- 10:28Speaker 1: out for dinners constantly. You know, we spend our weekends together.
- 10:31Speaker 1: We'd go you know, binge, eat and watch a movie together.
- 10:35Speaker 1: We'd go to the movie theaters and again eating candy, chips, popcorn, whatever.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Nothing wrong with that obviously, but like all about balance,
- 10:41Speaker 1: you shouldn't be doing that like literally every single week
- 10:43Speaker 1: and every single weekend, in my opinion, And so it
- 10:46Speaker 1: was getting a little extreme. I wasn't working out, I
- 10:49Speaker 1: wasn't having any type of healthy lifestyle whatsoever. And so
- 10:53Speaker 1: in twenty seventeen, that's when I started to realize that
- 10:57Speaker 1: I had to make a change and trying to figure
- 10:58Speaker 1: out like new eating habits. It's a workout schedule for
- 11:01Speaker 1: myself all that. And back in the day, Instagram was around,
- 11:04Speaker 1: but the influencers that I followed were mainly on YouTube
- 11:07Speaker 1: because obviously Instagram reels wasn't a thing, TikTok wasn't a thing.
- 11:11Speaker 1: So I was following a lot of fitness influencers on YouTube,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and those were the girls that really kind of helped
- 11:18Speaker 1: me through my health and wellness journey of like figuring out,
- 11:22Speaker 1: you know, healthy recipes, you know, my eating habits, what
- 11:26Speaker 1: I should be avoiding, what I should be eating, you know,
- 11:29Speaker 1: workout routines, whatever the case may be. Now, I will
- 11:32Speaker 1: say that I don't want to say that these influencers
- 11:35Speaker 1: that I watched forced me to eat the way that
- 11:37Speaker 1: I ate, but I believed that the way these influencers
- 11:42Speaker 1: were eating was the way that I had to also eat.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Non dairy products were becoming a real big thing, so
- 11:48Speaker 1: almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, all that. I feel like.
- 11:51Speaker 1: That's like when things really started to like kick off,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and I, for some reason thought that I had to
- 11:57Speaker 1: jump on the non dairy train, even though I had
- 12:00Speaker 1: had no issues with drinking dairy at all. I felt
- 12:03Speaker 1: like I needed to become a almond milk gurly or
- 12:06Speaker 1: whatever the case. I'd be. Like it was a trend
- 12:08Speaker 1: at that point where I felt like everybody was just
- 12:10Speaker 1: jumping on it for no reason at all, thinking that
- 12:12Speaker 1: dairy was bad for us. And so I feel like
- 12:14Speaker 1: that's kind of like where my toxic relationship kind of
- 12:17Speaker 1: became a thing of like following these influencers of like
- 12:21Speaker 1: how they were eating. And again, you have to understand that,
- 12:24Speaker 1: like I'm not saying what they promoted was toxic. It
- 12:27Speaker 1: was more so like I was doing these things to
- 12:29Speaker 1: myself thinking that it was the right thing, and when
- 12:31Speaker 1: it really wasn't. Like I really should have been like
- 12:33Speaker 1: listening to my own body, not following someone else's eating habits.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And that's where I feel like everything went wrong. You know,
- 12:39Speaker 1: the girls were weightlifting, so I started weightlifting. The girls
- 12:43Speaker 1: were tracking their macros, so I decided to download you know,
- 12:46Speaker 1: an app and use that to track my calories. I
- 12:49Speaker 1: was eating protein bars for lunch instead of actually eating
- 12:52Speaker 1: a lunch. Like it was so bad, guys. I literally
- 12:55Speaker 1: was just like following these girls completely and not doing
- 12:58Speaker 1: anything that my body actually needed. And that's when I
- 13:01Speaker 1: started to get extremely underweight, to the point where like
- 13:05Speaker 1: my mom I remember, was like really concerned. She was like,
- 13:08Speaker 1: you need to be eating more food. I was avoiding
- 13:11Speaker 1: every possible carb that you could imagine. Like I would
- 13:14Speaker 1: never eat pasta, I would never eat potatoes strictly, just
- 13:17Speaker 1: like lettuce, zoodles, you know, anything that didn't involve a carb.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I would essentially eat besides carbs, Like I truly wanted
- 13:24Speaker 1: to remove carbs out of my diet completely. I had
- 13:27Speaker 1: this massive fear of anything that was high in fat,
- 13:30Speaker 1: so like any type of nut butter, you know, avocados.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Avocados I avoided for like almost a year or two.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I think I literally saw it as such a bad food.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I don't know why. I just thought it was like
- 13:44Speaker 1: something that I was scared of, Like anything that was
- 13:46Speaker 1: really high in calorie or high in fat. I literally
- 13:48Speaker 1: completely avoided from my diet completely. And I think it
- 13:51Speaker 1: was because of like using that app that I could
- 13:55Speaker 1: see the calories and I could see the fat. It
- 13:57Speaker 1: kind of almost like scared me away from those foods
- 14:00Speaker 1: and made me have a really unhealthy relationship with food.
- 14:04Speaker 1: But I want to just say something about those apps. Okay,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I actually do not see those apps in that way
- 14:09Speaker 1: at all anymore. I think the time of my life
- 14:11Speaker 1: that I was using that app, it was a toxic
- 14:14Speaker 1: time for me specifically. But if I were to use
- 14:16Speaker 1: the app now, I actually think it would be very
- 14:18Speaker 1: useful if you're doing it right, It's actually a very
- 14:21Speaker 1: healthy tool to use, especially if you're looking to either
- 14:24Speaker 1: gain weight or lose weight, whatever the case may be,
- 14:26Speaker 1: like tracking your macros and actually understanding the protein you
- 14:31Speaker 1: need for the day today or the calories that you need,
- 14:34Speaker 1: like if you're using it for a specific reason of
- 14:36Speaker 1: like measuring things out so so healthy and so so needed,
- 14:41Speaker 1: if you're like wanting to go that direction. So the
- 14:43Speaker 1: apps now I actually love and I don't think there's
- 14:45Speaker 1: anything wrong with it. I think just at the time,
- 14:48Speaker 1: I didn't really truly understand how to use it and
- 14:52Speaker 1: what foods were actually good for you. So I was
- 14:54Speaker 1: using it strictly just like oh, low calories, low fat,
- 14:57Speaker 1: like eating protein, no carbs, Like I was in a
- 15:00Speaker 1: completely different mindset back then versus what I'm in now.
- 15:04Speaker 1: So I think back then it was toxic for me,
- 15:06Speaker 1: but I think right now it would never be toxic.
- 15:08Speaker 1: It would actually be a benefit for me. I just
- 15:10Speaker 1: wanted to say that because if anyone does use the apps,
- 15:12Speaker 1: I think they're great. I don't think there's anything wrong
- 15:14Speaker 1: with it. I just think with my personal situation that
- 15:17Speaker 1: happened years ago, I don't think it was healthy for
- 15:20Speaker 1: me at that time in my life where I didn't
- 15:23Speaker 1: really understand anything when it came to the health and
- 15:25Speaker 1: wellness journey, right, Like I really didn't know what I
- 15:27Speaker 1: was doing, and so I just remember being really skinny,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and I remember having no energy at all. I was
- 15:34Speaker 1: very tired. I was using caffeine as my source of
- 15:39Speaker 1: energy because I didn't have enough energy because I wasn't
- 15:41Speaker 1: eating enough food or actually properly fueling my body. And
- 15:45Speaker 1: I remember doing like really heavy lifting, like five to
- 15:49Speaker 1: six times a week, and again not eating enough food
- 15:52Speaker 1: to actually see the results that I wanted to see
- 15:54Speaker 1: for my body. Like, yeah, it was skinny, but I
- 15:56Speaker 1: didn't have any muscle on me because I wasn't eating carbs.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I wasn't eating you know, high protein meals. So it
- 16:04Speaker 1: just was like a very interesting time in my life
- 16:07Speaker 1: where I personally think it wasn't healthy at all, Like
- 16:09Speaker 1: I was actually doing the complete opposite. It was not
- 16:12Speaker 1: something that was considered a health and wellness journey in
- 16:14Speaker 1: my opinion at all. It was just like a very
- 16:16Speaker 1: unhealthy relationship with food and not really understanding what was
- 16:20Speaker 1: best for myself. I just wanted the goal of following
- 16:24Speaker 1: these fitness influencers, thinking that I was doing the right
- 16:26Speaker 1: thing when I actually wasn't. And I know I've talked
- 16:29Speaker 1: about this story in the past. When it came to
- 16:32Speaker 1: the realization of my journey, which was when did I
- 16:36Speaker 1: realize that I was under eating or what I was
- 16:38Speaker 1: doing was wrong. And it was in the moment where
- 16:41Speaker 1: my husband said something and my parents said something about
- 16:43Speaker 1: how I should be eating more and that I shouldn't
- 16:45Speaker 1: have to restrict myself and that you know, I was
- 16:48Speaker 1: getting too skinny. And it was the first trip to
- 16:50Speaker 1: Europe with my husband when we were twenty one. So
- 16:54Speaker 1: I can't remember what year that was, but I think
- 16:56Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, probably two years of like eating
- 17:00Speaker 1: really strict and like thinking I had to follow this
- 17:02Speaker 1: like really intense diet. So I think it was probably
- 17:05Speaker 1: two years, which is kind of wild. We went to
- 17:08Speaker 1: Europe and I remember telling my husband to make sure
- 17:12Speaker 1: that I don't restrict myself from eating because Europe is
- 17:14Speaker 1: known for the food, right, Like you want to go
- 17:17Speaker 1: on a trip and you don't want to have to
- 17:18Speaker 1: restrict yourself the entire time, Like you want to be
- 17:20Speaker 1: able to enjoy the foods that you want. You want
- 17:23Speaker 1: to be able to just enjoy the trip in general
- 17:25Speaker 1: and not have to stress about like, oh my god,
- 17:27Speaker 1: did I eat too much? Or you know, should I
- 17:30Speaker 1: have had that gelato last night? Whatever the case me
- 17:32Speaker 1: be like I remember telling my husband, please make sure
- 17:34Speaker 1: that I eat everything that I want and that I
- 17:35Speaker 1: don't restrict myself, and like he would literally like almost
- 17:38Speaker 1: force me. I'd be like, oh, I don't know if
- 17:40Speaker 1: I want the gelato, and he'd be like, no, we're
- 17:41Speaker 1: getting the gelato. If you want it, we're getting it.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Like he was like super supportive in that sense where
- 17:46Speaker 1: he was kind of pushing me out of that comfort
- 17:48Speaker 1: zone of like thinking that I shouldn't be doing it
- 17:51Speaker 1: when it's o and he was kind of telling me,
- 17:53Speaker 1: like it's okay to eat and treat yourself once in
- 17:56Speaker 1: a while, like don't be upset with yourself if you
- 17:59Speaker 1: know you're eating jill or eating a lot of pasta whatever. Right,
- 18:02Speaker 1: So we were gone for four weeks. We were eating
- 18:04Speaker 1: out every single night, we weren't working out. I was
- 18:06Speaker 1: walking every day, but that was basically it like there
- 18:09Speaker 1: was nothing that I really did kind of like maintain
- 18:11Speaker 1: my fitness journey through that. But I think that's really
- 18:13Speaker 1: where the healing journey started, was really being able to
- 18:17Speaker 1: indulge what I wanted, not having to feel forced to
- 18:20Speaker 1: like work out every single day. It kind of like
- 18:22Speaker 1: made me step back and realize that I can still
- 18:25Speaker 1: like maintain a healthy relationship with the workout routine and
- 18:29Speaker 1: foods that I want to enjoy and still feel okay
- 18:32Speaker 1: and good about myself. So I always like think of
- 18:35Speaker 1: that trip and just how healing it was for me,
- 18:37Speaker 1: because when I got back from that trip, I started
- 18:40Speaker 1: working out less. I started working out like four to
- 18:41Speaker 1: five times a week versus five to six. I was
- 18:44Speaker 1: eating a lot more food. I was able to regain
- 18:47Speaker 1: the confidence of eating pasta again and eating avocados again,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and like treating myself to a sweet treat when I
- 18:54Speaker 1: wanted to. Like, it was just kind of like a
- 18:56Speaker 1: year of getting back into foods that I really enjoyed
- 18:59Speaker 1: and really starting to understand the balance and how healthy
- 19:02Speaker 1: it was to you know, indulge that past to when
- 19:05Speaker 1: I wanted to or have that ice cream when I
- 19:08Speaker 1: wanted to write. So that's kind of like where I
- 19:10Speaker 1: kind of realized that I was actually being extremely unhealthy
- 19:14Speaker 1: of you know, avoiding those foods, and I started to
- 19:17Speaker 1: feel less tired, I started to regain more energy. I
- 19:21Speaker 1: wasn't using you know, energy drinks or coffee as my
- 19:24Speaker 1: source of energy anymore. It was really just like eating
- 19:27Speaker 1: enough food throughout the day and you know, realizing that, oh,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I actually feel better eating the right foods and like
- 19:34Speaker 1: feeling good about it. Right, So when I think about
- 19:36Speaker 1: my relationship today with food and how much it's changed,
- 19:40Speaker 1: is just like understanding the meaning behind how important carbs
- 19:45Speaker 1: are and how important protein is, and how important vegetables are.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And now I like, I want all those things on
- 19:53Speaker 1: my plate, if anything, I want literally everything and more.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I want healthy fats, I want carbs, I want proteins,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I want it all. I want want to fill my
- 20:01Speaker 1: body so much where I feel so full that I
- 20:04Speaker 1: can't eat anymore. I think also going into the mindset
- 20:08Speaker 1: of kind of like prepping myself for conception has also
- 20:11Speaker 1: been a huge thing for me. You know, I don't
- 20:14Speaker 1: want to say I was under eating last year, like
- 20:15Speaker 1: I was definitely eating enough food. I just think sometimes
- 20:18Speaker 1: like lunch specifically for me was a big one. I
- 20:21Speaker 1: feel like whenever I was, you know, here at the house,
- 20:25Speaker 1: noon would come around and I would just like, oh,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I'll just have a snack plate, or oh, I'll just
- 20:29Speaker 1: you know, make a yogurt bowl, like I would just
- 20:31Speaker 1: like eat a small lunch, which again nothing wrong with that,
- 20:34Speaker 1: but I felt like in the afternoons I would get
- 20:36Speaker 1: tired and I'd get snacky because I wasn't eating a
- 20:39Speaker 1: big enough lunch. And so I think it was the
- 20:42Speaker 1: end of last year I started to get back into
- 20:44Speaker 1: meal prepping, or last summer, one of the two. I
- 20:46Speaker 1: was talking about it with you guys in the podcast
- 20:48Speaker 1: about how I wanted to get back into meal prepping
- 20:50Speaker 1: because back in the day, I used to be really
- 20:53Speaker 1: into it, but I would not like eating the same
- 20:55Speaker 1: thing every single day. So what I do now is
- 20:57Speaker 1: I don't do a whole meal for the entire I
- 21:00Speaker 1: just cook the protein and then I try different meals
- 21:03Speaker 1: out throughout my lunches. So one day I'll do like
- 21:06Speaker 1: a taco bowl with like salsa, avocado, lettuce, and rice,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and then the next day I'll do like burger bowls,
- 21:12Speaker 1: so I'll do something with the ground beef again, but
- 21:14Speaker 1: just like doing something a little different that doesn't taste
- 21:17Speaker 1: the same as what I had the day before. So
- 21:19Speaker 1: that's kind of how I like to do it now,
- 21:21Speaker 1: is I just meal prep the protein and I'll try
- 21:22Speaker 1: out different lunches throughout the week. That way, am not
- 21:24Speaker 1: eating the same thing. But the point is that now
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'm actually eating lunches that fill me up, and I'm
- 21:31Speaker 1: not constantly snacking throughout the week because I didn't eat
- 21:35Speaker 1: a big enough lunch. So it's all about just kind
- 21:37Speaker 1: of like a learning curve. I think over time you'll
- 21:39Speaker 1: kind of just like realize what works for you, what
- 21:41Speaker 1: doesn't work for you. I think you'll always figure out
- 21:45Speaker 1: what is best for yourself, and you just really need
- 21:47Speaker 1: to kind of like see the signs, like if you're tired,
- 21:50Speaker 1: if you have no energy, like maybe you aren't eating
- 21:52Speaker 1: enough food. So then you need to realize, Okay, what
- 21:54Speaker 1: foods should I be including to eat more of? Should
- 21:57Speaker 1: I be doing a meal prep schedule where I'm you know,
- 21:59Speaker 1: meal prepping line. That way, I have a big enough lunch,
- 22:01Speaker 1: and I have a big breakfast and big dinner that
- 22:03Speaker 1: I have as well. That way my body is fueled
- 22:05Speaker 1: throughout the day. But anyways, the point that I was
- 22:07Speaker 1: trying to make is that prepping for conception, I think
- 22:09Speaker 1: is also just changed my perspective on food and my
- 22:12Speaker 1: body and everything, because it's amazing what you can learn
- 22:17Speaker 1: about food. I was reading the book Real Food for Fertility,
- 22:22Speaker 1: and it was just kind of like explaining the benefits
- 22:24Speaker 1: to everything that we would eat on like a daily basis,
- 22:27Speaker 1: like common foods like eggs, broccoli, proteins like beef, chicken,
- 22:32Speaker 1: all that, and just like understanding the knowledge behind those
- 22:36Speaker 1: proteins and the benefits to eating those things for our
- 22:39Speaker 1: bodies just made me see food in such a different way.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I think it's really something that you
- 22:46Speaker 1: should look into if you're a person that wants to
- 22:48Speaker 1: get into their prepping for pregnancy journey or whatever the
- 22:52Speaker 1: case may be. This book has made me learn so
- 22:55Speaker 1: much about food in the best way possible. I think
- 22:57Speaker 1: it's been a really healing experience for me. I still
- 23:01Speaker 1: technically haven't finished the book. I think I have like
- 23:03Speaker 1: eighty pages left. It was a five hundred and fifty
- 23:06Speaker 1: page book. Okay, It's been a very long book to read,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and I only read it, I want to say, like
- 23:11Speaker 1: maybe twice a week, and I'll like read it for
- 23:14Speaker 1: like twenty to thirty minutes a day, So I'm not
- 23:17Speaker 1: like reading enough of it where I'm like locked in
- 23:19Speaker 1: and like finishing it in a month. Like I've been
- 23:22Speaker 1: reading it for the past three months and I'm almost
- 23:26Speaker 1: done it. But I've learned a lot. It's been very
- 23:28Speaker 1: educational and yeah, just something that I've really enjoyed learning
- 23:33Speaker 1: about and just learning the benefits around certain foods. And
- 23:36Speaker 1: I think it just has made me appreciate eating so
- 23:39Speaker 1: much more in the best way possible. And I've just
- 23:41Speaker 1: been feeling like my healthiest self lately. And I think
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's just because I feel like I finally have a
- 23:45Speaker 1: really healthy relationship with food and just like understanding the
- 23:50Speaker 1: benefits behind everything, like certain fruits that I eat in
- 23:52Speaker 1: the morning, you know. Now I've been including like chia seeds,
- 23:56Speaker 1: flack seeds, hemp seeds or hemp hearts, whatever they call it.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Like I'm starting to include like more of those things
- 24:01Speaker 1: into my yogurt bowls and all that because I'm realizing
- 24:03Speaker 1: the importance around eating those things. You know, I am
- 24:07Speaker 1: not a big salmon person or a big fish person,
- 24:10Speaker 1: but you know, I've always wanted to increase my omega threes,
- 24:14Speaker 1: So I'm trying to find ways to incorporate fish into
- 24:18Speaker 1: my dinners throughout the week. So Zach and I have
- 24:21Speaker 1: been trying to have salmon once a week. Again, I
- 24:23Speaker 1: don't love salmon, but I'm finding different ways to cook
- 24:26Speaker 1: it to make me enjoy it. So it's all about
- 24:30Speaker 1: just like kind of like learning ways to incorporate things
- 24:33Speaker 1: into your day to day lifestyle. But that's kind of
- 24:36Speaker 1: what my journey has been, Like, I know everyone's journey
- 24:38Speaker 1: is different, but I just kind of wanted to share
- 24:40Speaker 1: my kind of like my path of like how I
- 24:43Speaker 1: kind of found myself again and how I did start
- 24:46Speaker 1: off in a rough situation where I didn't really understand
- 24:49Speaker 1: what healthy eating meant and now I feel like I'm
- 24:51Speaker 1: in a really good stage where I'm able to finally
- 24:54Speaker 1: eat the foods that I used to be afraid of
- 24:57Speaker 1: and like finally found a relationship where I want eat
- 25:00Speaker 1: those foods, and I understand the benefits of eating those
- 25:02Speaker 1: foods now and I think it's so important to follow
- 25:05Speaker 1: influencers like that nowadays as well. I feel like there's
- 25:08Speaker 1: so many amazing people out there that promote such a
- 25:11Speaker 1: healthy balance, you know, eating pattern. Like I know some
- 25:15Speaker 1: people have a love hate relationship for what I eat
- 25:17Speaker 1: in a day's I personally love it because I love
- 25:19Speaker 1: gaining meal inspo and inspiration from people. But if you're
- 25:23Speaker 1: doing it in the right way, Like if you're promoting
- 25:25Speaker 1: what I eat in a day, but you had like
- 25:27Speaker 1: two meals and one snack, like, please don't post that.
- 25:30Speaker 1: That's embarrassing. Like I would like to see proper meals,
- 25:33Speaker 1: proper snacks, like something that someone would actually eat and
- 25:36Speaker 1: feel fueled throughout the day. So that's my journey on that.
- 25:40Speaker 1: But let's talk about some recipes that I've been loving.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I have a few dinner recipes here, some lunch recipes,
- 25:46Speaker 1: some breakfast recipes, along with some desserts that I've recently tried.
- 25:50Speaker 1: So let's start off with dinner. One dinner that I've
- 25:53Speaker 1: recently included into our dinner rotation is oven salmon with
- 25:58Speaker 1: rice and cucumbers and we talk off with a spicy
- 26:01Speaker 1: Mao sauce. I think this is a recipe that was
- 26:03Speaker 1: famous on TikTok a few years ago. I have been
- 26:06Speaker 1: trying to incorporate salmon into my day to day routine,
- 26:09Speaker 1: as I said, and just trying to get my Omega
- 26:11Speaker 1: threes up. So this has kind of been a dinner
- 26:14Speaker 1: that I have liked that includes salmon. I can't really
- 26:17Speaker 1: eat salmon on its own unless there's like some type
- 26:20Speaker 1: of sauce that is kind of like masking the taste,
- 26:23Speaker 1: if that makes sense. If you have any good salmon recipes,
- 26:26Speaker 1: please send them to me because I would love or
- 26:28Speaker 1: comment down below here on the podcast. I would love
- 26:31Speaker 1: to see any recipes. Also, if you recommend anything like
- 26:34Speaker 1: it doesn't have to be salmon specific, any healthy recipe
- 26:36Speaker 1: that you love that I may have not tried, please
- 26:39Speaker 1: send it my way or comments on below. I would
- 26:41Speaker 1: love to hear it, and maybe I'll try and film
- 26:44Speaker 1: some recipes that you guys have sent in. That would
- 26:46Speaker 1: be such a fun series to start on TikTok or Instagram.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But that's a recipe that's new to us that we've
- 26:52Speaker 1: been trying to incorporate into our dinner rotation. Another one
- 26:55Speaker 1: we love is taco stuff peppers, where we stuff either
- 26:59Speaker 1: ground beef or ground turkey and we use a taco seasoning.
- 27:03Speaker 1: We add like cornhili pinots. You could also add onion,
- 27:07Speaker 1: sprinkle a little bit of cheese on top, and we
- 27:09Speaker 1: put it into a bell pepper. Literally one of our
- 27:12Speaker 1: favorite dinners. It's so good, it's so filling. You can
- 27:14Speaker 1: also add rice. If you want to add more carbs,
- 27:16Speaker 1: you can also add beans. It's such a fun way
- 27:19Speaker 1: to change up a typical taco, but doing it in
- 27:22Speaker 1: a stuff pepper is yeah, so so fun and it's
- 27:25Speaker 1: so good. So that's probably one of our favorite dinners.
- 27:28Speaker 1: We also love just like plain dinners when it's just
- 27:31Speaker 1: like steak, rice, avocado and that is it strictly just
- 27:35Speaker 1: like a simple bowl. We also like to add like
- 27:38Speaker 1: oven roasted broccoli. Putting broccoli in the oven has changed
- 27:43Speaker 1: my life. I cannot explain how good this is. Guys,
- 27:46Speaker 1: add a bit of avocado oil on top with salt
- 27:48Speaker 1: and pepper. Very simple, but very good. I've done, like
- 27:52Speaker 1: you know, boiled broccoli on the stove top for years. Okay,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I strictly would just eat broccoli because it's good for you,
- 27:58Speaker 1: it's healthy. You know. Putting it on the stovetop is
- 28:01Speaker 1: just easy, but putting it in the oven just tastes
- 28:04Speaker 1: ten times better. And I actually really enjoy broccoli when
- 28:07Speaker 1: it's in the oven, especially Brussels sprouts as well. When
- 28:09Speaker 1: it's cooked in the oven, trust me, if you've never
- 28:12Speaker 1: done it before, it kind of tastes just like a
- 28:13Speaker 1: little bit crispier and it's really really good. So we
- 28:16Speaker 1: love having oven broccoli with steak, rice and avocado. We
- 28:21Speaker 1: also love to make burger bowls. That's another one that
- 28:23Speaker 1: we make pretty often, which is again just ground beef, lettuce,
- 28:27Speaker 1: cherry tomato. We'll make baby potatoes, spicy Mao sauce and
- 28:32Speaker 1: that's it. It's pretty simple. A lot of these recipes too,
- 28:35Speaker 1: I've posted a lot on my TikTok and Instagram, so
- 28:37Speaker 1: if you ever want to see a visual or the
- 28:39Speaker 1: full on recipe details, those are all on my social
- 28:42Speaker 1: media platforms, which I've linked in the podcast description down below.
- 28:45Speaker 1: We also make taco soup or white chicken chili. We
- 28:49Speaker 1: also love beef chili and then marry me chicken as well.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Those are also really popular recipes that we found throughout
- 28:56Speaker 1: Pinterest and TikTok that you could probably search or again
- 28:59Speaker 1: you can find on my Instagram or TikTok page for
- 29:02Speaker 1: lunch ideas. I love doing Chaco bowls again, just doing
- 29:06Speaker 1: like ground beef salsa, avocado rice with corn sprinkle a
- 29:12Speaker 1: little bit of cheese on top. I've been loving this
- 29:14Speaker 1: pabrika sauce that I found from farm Boy. It's so good.
- 29:17Speaker 1: It's like a taheen sauce that you can put on top.
- 29:21Speaker 1: It's one of my favorite lunches that I've been having
- 29:23Speaker 1: on rotation. It's just really really filling and just like
- 29:26Speaker 1: a really easy lunch to make. I also love to
- 29:29Speaker 1: make either turkey meatballs or chicken Greek bowls. I love
- 29:33Speaker 1: just getting some taziki, making a bit of like a
- 29:35Speaker 1: Greek salad with like cucumber, red onion, and cherry tomatoes
- 29:40Speaker 1: again doing like baby potatoes in the side with some
- 29:43Speaker 1: taziki sauce and then the chicken or turkey meatballs. That's
- 29:46Speaker 1: when recipe have been making on rotation. Also can make
- 29:48Speaker 1: a chicken stir fries sometimes with it's just like chicken peppers,
- 29:52Speaker 1: onions and rice. Super simple you could put a little
- 29:54Speaker 1: bit of seasoning on top. I love using like paprika
- 29:57Speaker 1: or chili powder, cayenne pepper. I like to try and
- 30:00Speaker 1: make my seasonings at home as much as I can
- 30:02Speaker 1: without buying like a prepackaged thing. If I do buy
- 30:05Speaker 1: a prepackaged like taco seasoning or some type of seasoning,
- 30:08Speaker 1: I usually get it by the brands Siete, just because
- 30:10Speaker 1: it's like really clean ingredients and I really love the
- 30:13Speaker 1: ingredients that they use in their products. I also love
- 30:17Speaker 1: the Siete chips. That's something I snack on all the time. Again,
- 30:21Speaker 1: just really clean ingredients and just such a good snack.
- 30:23Speaker 1: It's like my favorite healthy chip. Or I think they
- 30:26Speaker 1: have like other things too besides chips, like desserts and
- 30:29Speaker 1: all that. Just a really good brand in general. I
- 30:31Speaker 1: also love to make the hot honey avocado bowls, which
- 30:35Speaker 1: is like avocados, sweet potato, grum, beef, cottage cheese or ricotta.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I'm not a big cottage cheese person. I don't like
- 30:42Speaker 1: the texture. I prefer ricotta's texture, so I usually do
- 30:45Speaker 1: ricotta instead and then I put red chlea flakes and
- 30:48Speaker 1: honey on top. That's something I make all the time,
- 30:51Speaker 1: and you probably would see that in my videos, but yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 1: it's like one of my favorite bowls that I eat
- 30:56Speaker 1: all the time. And then usually in the summer, I
- 30:58Speaker 1: love to make protein pasta salad. I'll buy like protein pasta.
- 31:02Speaker 1: There's a lot of like protein pasta brands out there
- 31:04Speaker 1: that you could buy, and I'll just make like like
- 31:07Speaker 1: a Greek inspired pasta salad usually. And yeah, those are
- 31:11Speaker 1: kind of like my favorite lunches that I would prep
- 31:14Speaker 1: throughout the week. For breakfast, I've been kind of simple.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I feel like I'll do like eggs with sour dough bread,
- 31:19Speaker 1: and then I'll usually do some type of Greek yogurt
- 31:21Speaker 1: bowl with Kiwi blueberries, raspberries, honey, cinnamon, and then I'll
- 31:28Speaker 1: top it off with like chia seeds, black seeds and
- 31:30Speaker 1: all those different kind of seeds on top. I've also
- 31:33Speaker 1: been having my protein oats again. This is something that
- 31:36Speaker 1: I like recently brought back into my routine. I used
- 31:38Speaker 1: to make these all the time, literally one of my
- 31:41Speaker 1: favorite breakfasts and so filling. But that's just like protein
- 31:45Speaker 1: powder oats, milk. Put them on the stove, and then
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'll add like any tip of topping you want. I
- 31:49Speaker 1: love adding like blueberries, bananas, chia seeds, almond butter. I
- 31:53Speaker 1: love almond butter on protein oats. I use a vanilla
- 31:56Speaker 1: protein powder and it almost tastes like cake batter. It's
- 32:00Speaker 1: literally it's crack. I'm obsessed. I don't have it every
- 32:03Speaker 1: single day. I usually like do a rotation of the eggs,
- 32:05Speaker 1: sour dough, and like Greek yogurt, and then I'll do
- 32:08Speaker 1: protein oats the other day. So that's kind of like
- 32:10Speaker 1: my breakfast rotation. I don't really have too much breakfast,
- 32:13Speaker 1: just because I'm a very routine person. I kind of
- 32:15Speaker 1: just like to eat the same thing the odd time.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I would crave like a berry nut smoothie where it's
- 32:21Speaker 1: just kind of like bananas, strawberries, almond butter, protein powder,
- 32:25Speaker 1: almond milk, or oat regular milk. I've been drinking dairy.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I don't drink almond milk or oat milk anymore. I
- 32:31Speaker 1: used to, obviously, as I said, but I converted to
- 32:33Speaker 1: dairy last summer and it was literally the best decision ever.
- 32:38Speaker 1: But I don't know just in terms of like how
- 32:40Speaker 1: I feel like, I feel like it was kind of
- 32:42Speaker 1: bloated with oat milk. Like, again, there's nothing wrong with
- 32:45Speaker 1: you know, the non dairy products out there. There's some
- 32:48Speaker 1: that obviously are not the greatest, but yeah, no, I
- 32:52Speaker 1: was buying a good oat milk back in the day
- 32:54Speaker 1: and then I just was like kind of noticing inflammation
- 32:57Speaker 1: for no reason. So that's kind of why I switched
- 32:59Speaker 1: to dairy. And it's been great since I switched, and
- 33:02Speaker 1: I love the taste of dairy now. And then for dessert,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I've been making a lot of banana chocolate desserts. You've
- 33:06Speaker 1: probably seen that I've been making ban and oat cookies.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I've been making banana chocolate sea salt bark. This is
- 33:13Speaker 1: something that I recently tried that I'm obsessed with. It's
- 33:15Speaker 1: so good, guys, you need to try it out. Super simple.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I actually just posted it on my TikTok this week,
- 33:21Speaker 1: so definitely check that out. I love the banana bread
- 33:26Speaker 1: cookie dough balls, and yeah, that's kind of it. I've
- 33:30Speaker 1: just kind of been like going on rotation for like
- 33:32Speaker 1: making those healthy desserts, eating kind of like those same breakfasts,
- 33:36Speaker 1: shared my lunch ideas that I keep going back to
- 33:38Speaker 1: some of my favorite dinner recipes. But I would say
- 33:41Speaker 1: those are like typical recipes that I have on a
- 33:43Speaker 1: pretty like frequent basis that I usually always go back to,
- 33:46Speaker 1: like just something that I always try and buy at
- 33:49Speaker 1: the grocery store, all the ingredients for. It's just easy,
- 33:51Speaker 1: it's healthy, it's good, and I just love to eat
- 33:55Speaker 1: those recipes. Well, that is our episode for today. I
- 33:58Speaker 1: hope you guys enjoyed this episode. It's Zach's birthday next week,
- 34:01Speaker 1: and I think we're leaving on our trip the day after,
- 34:04Speaker 1: so it just might be a little stressful trying to
- 34:05Speaker 1: get a podcast episode up. But the following week, I
- 34:09Speaker 1: am going to be posting an episode in regards to
- 34:12Speaker 1: just like my twenties in general. It's like what I've
- 34:14Speaker 1: learned throughout my twenties before entering my thirties. I think
- 34:18Speaker 1: that's going to be a huge episode to really really
- 34:21Speaker 1: talk about, and I think that's something that you guys
- 34:24Speaker 1: should all listen to, just things that I've learned throughout
- 34:26Speaker 1: the past ten years of being in my twenties, things
- 34:29Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to going into my thirties, entering a
- 34:32Speaker 1: brand new decade. I think it'd be a really fun
- 34:34Speaker 1: episode just to kind of really lean into just kind
- 34:37Speaker 1: of like other mistakes I've made or lessons I've learned
- 34:40Speaker 1: throughout the past ten years of being in my twenties,
- 34:43Speaker 1: so I thought that'd be a really nice episode to
- 34:46Speaker 1: do before entering my new decade of turning thirty. Anyways,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I hope you guys enjoyed this episode. Thank you guys
- 34:53Speaker 1: so much for listening, and I will see you guys
- 34:55Speaker 1: in the next episode. Four
