Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Mary Payne here.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's Thursday, so it's Pop and Bravo. Thursday. We're going
- 0:20Speaker 1: to talk about pop culture. We're going to talk about Bravo.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And I've got two people here. It's Tests and Brook,
- 0:25Speaker 1: their sisters from psych Legal Pop and they've got expertise.
- 0:31Speaker 1: One's got psychiatric expertise, which we really need, and one's
- 0:35Speaker 1: got legal expertise, which we also really need. What a
- 0:38Speaker 1: great concept, Hi girls.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Hio having us?
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yes, yes, wow, Well you guys, We've got a lot
- 0:47Speaker 1: to talk about. And when I first want to ask you,
- 0:50Speaker 1: first of all, what days does your podcast come out on?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Well, we are we do change it up a little bit,
- 0:55Speaker 2: but Mondays, so the free is Mondays and Thursday, so
- 1:00Speaker 2: we're covering and just like that. Are you watching it?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Just like that?
- 1:04Speaker 1: No, but so many people are hate watching it and
- 1:06Speaker 1: doing reviews of it that I feel like I know everything.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, probably you don't need to watch the show now,
- 1:11Speaker 2: but yeah, we're hate watching and talking about it and
- 1:14Speaker 2: just like that. And then on Thursdays we do various documentaries.
- 1:19Speaker 2: The show that will come out today as this is
- 1:22Speaker 2: up is all about Ozzy Osbourne and and the Osbourne's
- 1:26Speaker 2: and how that was the first foray into reality TV
- 1:28Speaker 2: and how you know it shifted his career and so
- 1:34Speaker 2: and yeah, so we covered true crime and lots of
- 1:37Speaker 2: different other things like that.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Okay, good, Okay, so you're you touch on Bravo. But
- 1:43Speaker 1: it's not like that's not your main focus.
- 1:46Speaker 2: No, no, because a part of it was. I was
- 1:49Speaker 2: a hardcore Bravo Housewives person until I will say, like
- 1:54Speaker 2: twenty twenty happened and I was just and being a therapist.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I was in session after session after session. You know,
- 2:00Speaker 2: it was very intense, and I just couldn't handle it.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I just couldn't. I could not. I just couldn't do it.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And then since that time, I've kind of dipped in
- 2:09Speaker 2: and out. But yeah, we we've never been able to
- 2:13Speaker 2: pick up Bravo show that we both want to watch
- 2:16Speaker 2: and want to watch consistently. So I just do those
- 2:19Speaker 2: other things on my own.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Okay, okay, but Brooke, you said you are you tried?
- 2:24Speaker 1: You tried with the Valley you tried?
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I watched last season, the first this is
- 2:30Speaker 3: the second season. Yeah, right, okay, so I watched it
- 2:33Speaker 3: the first season got sucked in and then when the
- 2:36Speaker 3: second season started, you know, I was just too busy
- 2:39Speaker 3: at the time to add something else to my plate.
- 2:42Speaker 3: But I just watched the finale today and caught up
- 2:46Speaker 3: on what's happening with the characters and whatnot. But yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 3: but I we, I mean, I started watching Orange County
- 2:53Speaker 3: like season one, episode one, and that remains my favorite franchise,
- 2:58Speaker 3: and I've watched I'm watching it now. I'm caught up
- 3:01Speaker 3: on this season and it's just hard to see, Like
- 3:05Speaker 3: I think Housewives has really changed, Yeah, not for the better,
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Well yeah, it's as they they're they're more savvy, right,
- 3:18Speaker 1: so when they come on, they know immediately we've got
- 3:21Speaker 1: to we've got to bring it. We gotta we gotta
- 3:25Speaker 1: uh have something to sell, we gotta gotta we've gotta
- 3:28Speaker 1: get a divorce, We've got to have a kid with
- 3:30Speaker 1: an issue, you know. So we'll get into all that,
- 3:34Speaker 1: but first I want to talk about some pop culture
- 3:36Speaker 1: topics that are top of mind right now. My main
- 3:40Speaker 1: concern and my phone is ringing. I'm so sorry. Does
- 3:42Speaker 1: she love your phone rings? And you're like, I have
- 3:44Speaker 1: put it on airplane mode and do not disturb. So
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'm not really sure how that's happening. Okay, there it
- 3:50Speaker 1: goes double airplane mode. Okay, Kelly Wolf on Instagram. So
- 3:56Speaker 1: I've been following it really closely, and I guess I
- 3:59Speaker 1: was following her before, just like I just was, and
- 4:02Speaker 1: then all of a sudden it started popping up and
- 4:03Speaker 1: I was like, well, this is is interesting. So if
- 4:06Speaker 1: you guys aren't following Kelly Wolf because so, Kelly was
- 4:09Speaker 1: on Real World New Orleans one of the probably one
- 4:14Speaker 1: of the first five or six seasons that we saw,
- 4:16Speaker 1: if you know there from the beginning, like you know,
- 4:19Speaker 1: old school, and she was great. And she later married
- 4:24Speaker 1: Scott Wolfe and she became a therapist, psychiatrist unclear and uh,
- 4:31Speaker 1: they had three kids and they're successful, live in Park
- 4:34Speaker 1: City whatnot. But something happened where they announced their divorce
- 4:41Speaker 1: and she has gone so off the rails and she
- 4:44Speaker 1: talks in circles and she says, I have six companies,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm a millionaire, I have six dollars to my name.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm buying a property tomorrow.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Huh.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And then she says, I'm not allowed to see my children,
- 4:55Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get cops to meet me at the
- 4:57Speaker 1: house to break into my house and then like her
- 4:59Speaker 1: son comments, what are you doing? Please stop? Mom, like
- 5:02Speaker 1: it's horrible, it's horrible. And she obviously has been put
- 5:07Speaker 1: on a psychiatric holl twice, once by her family, first
- 5:10Speaker 1: one by her husband, I believe in the second and
- 5:12Speaker 1: buy her family. And she's like, they keep they keep
- 5:16Speaker 1: putting me on the psychiatric holds and I keep getting out.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And because she's a person with free will and doesn't
- 5:21Speaker 1: want to stay, she says she lives in her car.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And then she has a boyfriend that's a millionaire. She says,
- 5:28Speaker 1: she you know, is VIP status at a certain hotel,
- 5:32Speaker 1: but they'll no longer allow her to stay there. Everything
- 5:34Speaker 1: is like this and then that this and than that,
- 5:37Speaker 1: and nothing makes sense, and it goes in a circle.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And it's a lot of pictures of her bag that
- 5:41Speaker 1: says fuck off or whatever. And but what I think
- 5:45Speaker 1: kicked it off, and tests if you've been following it
- 5:46Speaker 1: like I have, you can tell me. But I think
- 5:48Speaker 1: kicked it off was maybe a month or two months
- 5:50Speaker 1: ago she had said she was getting divorced. She was
- 5:52Speaker 1: kind of posting some stuff that was kind of weird,
- 5:54Speaker 1: and she had her daughter in her car, which is definite,
- 5:57Speaker 1: definitely a miner. She has three minor children, I believe,
- 6:00Speaker 1: and had her daughter in the car who was hiding
- 6:02Speaker 1: in the back seat, and she was like, we're so
- 6:03Speaker 1: excited because we're going camping. Oh my gosh, we're so excited.
- 6:06Speaker 1: She shows the front of the car, looks like they're
- 6:07Speaker 1: going way out into the woods. And again they're in
- 6:09Speaker 1: Utah and the daughter's hiding. And then after that it
- 6:14Speaker 1: was like, no, she can't. It's an emergency order. She
- 6:17Speaker 1: can't see your kids anymore. Because so I think that's
- 6:20Speaker 1: what really kicked off this. You can't see your kids anymore.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You're putting them in harm. You're not right. But is
- 6:25Speaker 1: something like this she has been on medication for twenty
- 6:29Speaker 1: five years and now she's not or what, in your opinion,
- 6:33Speaker 1: is just somebody observing like we all are. What do
- 6:35Speaker 1: you think is happening?
- 6:36Speaker 2: I mean, and I've I know the broad strokes of
- 6:41Speaker 2: this story, but I think I would start to read
- 6:43Speaker 2: some of these rants and I'm like, oh, no, I can't.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I can't. Yeah, So to me, it seems like, I mean,
- 6:50Speaker 2: the rants and all of that, again, this is just
- 6:52Speaker 2: my opinion. It sounds like she's an unmedicated bipolar. So
- 6:57Speaker 2: she is going that is very very common, you know,
- 7:00Speaker 2: bipolar is and it's not what people think because people
- 7:03Speaker 2: throw this out all the time, like I'm bipolar. It's
- 7:05Speaker 2: like no, you know, it's periods of depression followed by
- 7:08Speaker 2: periods of just hyper animated. And you end up during
- 7:14Speaker 2: those times, these hyper times, spending money that you don't have,
- 7:19Speaker 2: making claims, you know, doing dangerous things. You know, all
- 7:24Speaker 2: the things that she is talking about, every last one
- 7:26Speaker 2: of them is like, oh yeah, that is classic bipolar. Right,
- 7:32Speaker 2: You're you're in that manick state and this is kind
- 7:35Speaker 2: of how you operate. So it and I've seen this
- 7:38Speaker 2: and it's it's really tough to watch. And usually the
- 7:42Speaker 2: people that I work with, they aren't the bipolar. They're
- 7:44Speaker 2: the family member of the bipolar. Like I had a
- 7:46Speaker 2: client for a long time whose mother was BIP. I mean,
- 7:48Speaker 2: it was just went on and on, and what would
- 7:50Speaker 2: happen is is that she would her mom would get
- 7:53Speaker 2: into treatment, her mom would start taking the medication, everything
- 7:56Speaker 2: would even out, and then something would happen.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Usually my guest would be is somewhere like Kelly decided
- 8:03Speaker 2: she's not going to take these meds anymore. And of all,
- 8:06Speaker 2: you know, when it comes there are certain things like
- 8:09Speaker 2: depression and anxiety that you can choose to take meds
- 8:12Speaker 2: or not, but piepolar, you have to take these meds,
- 8:16Speaker 2: like there is no way for you on your own
- 8:18Speaker 2: to regulate this. And so yeah, they and then they
- 8:22Speaker 2: like the mannic stages. A lot of them like it.
- 8:24Speaker 2: They don't like the depressed stages, but they like the
- 8:26Speaker 2: manic stages because those are a lot of fun. And
- 8:28Speaker 2: then the depressed and comes when you've seen everything that
- 8:31Speaker 2: you've you know, every everything, you start to come down
- 8:33Speaker 2: and then hard Yeah. Yeah, So that's what it feels
- 8:38Speaker 2: like to me. And it sounds like Scott's just trying
- 8:41Speaker 2: to as best he can figure out how do I
- 8:44Speaker 2: keep this, how do I how do I separate all
- 8:46Speaker 2: this and not have her do this in front of
- 8:47Speaker 2: the world, But it sounds like that's what she's doing.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It's interesting. She's she's calling on Billy Bush, who's Scott's
- 8:54Speaker 1: best friend. She's like, you know, Nona, and he's like
- 8:56Speaker 1: he he kind of made a statement I think on
- 8:57Speaker 1: his podcast or something was like I know that she
- 9:00Speaker 1: has said my name many times. Scott is one of
- 9:02Speaker 1: my best friends. I'm not commenting she could try to
- 9:04Speaker 1: bait me. I'm not saying anything. She called on Brad Pitt.
- 9:09Speaker 1: She'd be a good person to date, she says. And
- 9:12Speaker 1: it's just all this stuff. And it's interesting you say
- 9:15Speaker 1: that because I do have a friend whose brother is bipolar,
- 9:18Speaker 1: and it's a lot of like severe anger at the
- 9:22Speaker 1: government and doctors and stuff. Because many years ago he
- 9:25Speaker 1: fell and had to claim and then after I think
- 9:28Speaker 1: twenty years, they're like, you, we're not going to pay
- 9:30Speaker 1: you out anymore. Whatever the metal. So he felt everybody
- 9:34Speaker 1: was against him and all that, so he stopped taking
- 9:35Speaker 1: his meds and then TVs would show up at their
- 9:38Speaker 1: house and stuff and they're like, we don't need a TV,
- 9:41Speaker 1: like what? And he just sort of what you're saying.
- 9:44Speaker 1: She's like buying a lot of things, and probably the
- 9:47Speaker 1: depression is like, oh my god, like my disability is
- 9:51Speaker 1: run out. They won't pay it anymore. So I'm depressed.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna not take my meds and I'm gonna
- 9:56Speaker 1: go nuts and buy people televisions and I don't have
- 9:58Speaker 1: the money, and it's very it's it's very interesting that
- 10:03Speaker 1: you're saying that, because I also have somebody in my
- 10:05Speaker 1: family and that's the same thing. It was like days
- 10:08Speaker 1: of like work, work, work, work, work, work, and then
- 10:10Speaker 1: like days of being in the bed. Right, So it's
- 10:13Speaker 1: the up and the down.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and everyone's there's rapid cycling, right, two days here,
- 10:19Speaker 2: two days there, But most of the time there the
- 10:21Speaker 2: depression periods always last longer than the highs, and everybody's
- 10:25Speaker 2: highs last for different periods of time. But yeah, and
- 10:29Speaker 2: it's that's the thing. It's hard to know, like is
- 10:31Speaker 2: there some other you know, some kind of schizophrenia and
- 10:34Speaker 2: all of this, But what to me, it feels like,
- 10:36Speaker 2: because this is all happening now, to me, it feels
- 10:38Speaker 2: like it's got to be some sort of medication change.
- 10:41Speaker 2: There's got to be some what what changed all of this?
- 10:44Speaker 2: You've been bopping along and everything's fine.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so, you know, it's I own six companies
- 10:49Speaker 1: and yesterday I had to let go of thirty employees
- 10:51Speaker 1: and my family. All we do is preserve lands. I'm
- 10:54Speaker 1: buying a piece of property later today, and the hotel
- 10:57Speaker 1: kicked me out, so I've got this great house I'm
- 10:59Speaker 1: gonna rent and then the next sentence, I have six
- 11:01Speaker 1: dollars to my name because I've been shut out of
- 11:03Speaker 1: all my family accounts. We're like, well then, and then
- 11:06Speaker 1: you're like, okay, why am I trying to make sense
- 11:07Speaker 1: of it? I'm actually some of it. I'm just watching
- 11:09Speaker 1: to like be sure she's okay. And it'll be thousands
- 11:12Speaker 1: of people watched it and maybe a couple of hundred
- 11:15Speaker 1: like liked it, and then it'll be no comments. Now
- 11:18Speaker 1: before there was lots of comments. We're like, ooh, yeah,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you get your husband. He's a bad guy. And now
- 11:23Speaker 1: I think people are seeing it days and days and
- 11:25Speaker 1: days and only like her son comment yesterday and said, mom,
- 11:29Speaker 1: this is insane. What are you doing? And the kid's
- 11:32Speaker 1: like fiftee. Like that kid's like fifteen that commented because
- 11:36Speaker 1: of course I clicked on him and clicked through and
- 11:38Speaker 1: found a picture of Scott Wolfe on you know, all
- 11:41Speaker 1: the typical teenage boys stuff, and then I found a
- 11:44Speaker 1: picture of like Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving which was just November,
- 11:47Speaker 1: and Scott wolf is in the picture and she's in
- 11:48Speaker 1: the picture. So something happened after that. Yeah, it's poor kids,
- 11:52Speaker 1: It's really upsetting and so, and she's drinking a lot.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You see that, a lot of drinking, and you're like,
- 11:58Speaker 1: is that helping?
- 11:59Speaker 2: Probably no, But there's also during that time there's there's drinking,
- 12:03Speaker 2: there's excessive drug use. There's sexual behavior that you know that, right.
- 12:10Speaker 2: You hear about people like sleeping with people are flirting
- 12:13Speaker 2: with someone's husband, right, really, and these things are so
- 12:16Speaker 2: they're so destructive. They're so destructive, you know. And it's
- 12:19Speaker 2: different than someone who has a parent that's depressed or
- 12:22Speaker 2: something else like this is you know, they're depressed, but
- 12:25Speaker 2: they also then have these periods of destruction. Then usually
- 12:28Speaker 2: it's the family members that have to clean up.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and I have I know somebody in my life
- 12:34Speaker 1: who did similar things. And now I'm thinking, oh, that's
- 12:36Speaker 1: what that was. It's interesting, well, I mean it's interesting,
- 12:40Speaker 1: but it's had. But it's also like I keep watching it,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I'm like, I hope she gets in her house and
- 12:45Speaker 1: gets her stuff, like you know, all right, y'all know
- 12:49Speaker 1: how I'm kind of obsessed with skincare. Right in the
- 12:51Speaker 1: last few years, I've become fixated on my neck. So
- 12:54Speaker 1: I was really glad to find go Pure Titan and
- 12:57Speaker 1: lift neck Cream. All right, I've been using it for months,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I mean maybe five months now, and I have totally
- 13:03Speaker 1: noticed a difference. It has visibly smoothed and firmed the
- 13:07Speaker 1: skin on my neck and my deca ltee. You know,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the skin there like is way thinner and more delicate.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It requires specialized care. You can't just slap any old
- 13:15Speaker 1: lotion on there. Go Pure targets the unique concerns of
- 13:18Speaker 1: the neck area. And I love the net cream so much.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I bought their shower scrub, their arm tightening cream, and
- 13:24Speaker 1: their firming thigh cream. Okay, I'm all in with Go Pure.
- 13:28Speaker 1: All Go Pure products are cruelty free, parabin free, and

- 14:00Speaker 1: The Ozzy Osborne thing is interesting. Now you guys are
- 14:02Speaker 1: going to be talking about that. It's just sort of
- 14:04Speaker 1: in the culturals, like guys of how I mean speaking
- 14:06Speaker 1: of mental health issues an addiction, right, Yes, yeah, are
- 14:10Speaker 1: you going to be talking about it in the aspect
- 14:12Speaker 1: of that, Yeah, we.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Do talk some about that.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I mean, he's been very open and honest about his addictions.
- 14:20Speaker 3: And you know, he did an interview with the BBC
- 14:24Speaker 3: where he admitted that the entire time they were filming
- 14:27Speaker 3: The Osborne's he was just stoned all the time, which
- 14:30Speaker 3: I think we could all see tell. But at the
- 14:33Speaker 3: same time, what endeared everyone to him is or to us,
- 14:39Speaker 3: him to us, is that he had these moments where
- 14:42Speaker 3: he'd be like a really nice dad, a caring dad,
- 14:45Speaker 3: and saying nice things to his children. He clearly loves
- 14:48Speaker 3: his children, and you know, just him just being you know,
- 14:53Speaker 3: can't operate the remote.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Or you know.
- 14:55Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, he's relatable in many many ways, and
- 15:00Speaker 3: so we talk about that, we talk about his music,
- 15:03Speaker 3: you know, myself. We did it with Tessa's husband Steve,
- 15:07Speaker 3: who is a huge Black Sabbath fan and enjoys enjoys
- 15:12Speaker 3: that kind of music.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And I like that kind of.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Music too, so you know, we we liked the music,
- 15:17Speaker 3: and we just we reminisced about just you know, memories
- 15:21Speaker 3: we have about him and growing up, and we talked
- 15:25Speaker 3: about his life.
- 15:26Speaker 1: We talk about it all.
- 15:27Speaker 2: We talk yeah, everything.
- 15:29Speaker 1: How old was Zazie?
- 15:30Speaker 2: It is late seventies, seventy six, seventy six.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You see, and you see people like that and the
- 15:36Speaker 1: life that they lived, and you think, wow, it's pretty good.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Seventy six. I mean, you know, I mean seventy six is,
- 15:41Speaker 1: in my opinion, a little bit on the younger side
- 15:44Speaker 1: passing away. But my god, what a life. You know.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Well yeah, his family, you know, I just they're a
- 15:51Speaker 3: very loving family, you know, and it's very powerful. And
- 15:56Speaker 3: I saw a lot of videos with him and his grandchildren,
- 16:00Speaker 3: you know, I think he had like three or four, yeah, grandchildren,
- 16:04Speaker 3: and he's just you know, like playing with the kids
- 16:06Speaker 3: and the kids are laughing and you know, it's just,
- 16:09Speaker 3: you know, in the end, just a good guy.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Well I think he was kind of a serial cheater.
- 16:14Speaker 3: That wasn't Yes, yeah, that was that was again, Like
- 16:18Speaker 3: you're talking about the drug used, like he didn't even
- 16:21Speaker 3: remember like he'd wake up in the next day and
- 16:23Speaker 3: didn't even remember he'd slept with this woman, like someone
- 16:26Speaker 3: had to tell him, you know, so it I mean,
- 16:29Speaker 3: I'm not excusing that, but it's just like it wasn't
- 16:32Speaker 3: like he was doing it intentionally. And I think that's
- 16:36Speaker 3: why Sharon always had kind of a blase attitude about it.
- 16:40Speaker 3: She didn't like it, but it's like she didn't take
- 16:43Speaker 3: it as personally as if he'd gone out and sought
- 16:46Speaker 3: someone out.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And yeah, yeah, right right with them. How old is Sharon?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Do we know? She's younger? Only three younger?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I just saw the funeral was today
- 16:59Speaker 2: and him England, and I mean I know she got
- 17:03Speaker 2: on the yo zembic, but what is going on?
- 17:07Speaker 1: I mean, she's just like super thin.
- 17:09Speaker 3: She looks really it's more than thin. It's like her
- 17:11Speaker 3: face is really gaunt. It doesn't look normal. I don't know.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Something that's interesting.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Well, it's interesting. I mean, was he sick and then
- 17:20Speaker 1: he died or was it like a sudden Because if
- 17:22Speaker 1: he was sick then he died, she'd probably just sort
- 17:24Speaker 1: of let go taking care of herself because you know,
- 17:25Speaker 1: she's very into plastic surgery and keeping up. So if
- 17:28Speaker 1: she if he had been sick for a long time,
- 17:30Speaker 1: maybe she'd been caregiving for him and not cared and
- 17:33Speaker 1: now maybe she'll fix it. I don't know, or maybe
- 17:35Speaker 1: maybe she's sick too. I don't know.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I know that, you know, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's,
- 17:40Speaker 2: so I don't know how much hands on she had
- 17:43Speaker 2: to take care of him.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You know.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I think he had that farewell concert, which if you've
- 17:49Speaker 2: seen it, it's it's hard to watch. I mean, he's
- 17:53Speaker 2: clearly struggling, and apparently he had to stop taking some
- 17:57Speaker 2: of his Parkinson's medications and some other things just to
- 18:00Speaker 2: be able to perform and perform like these three songs.
- 18:04Speaker 2: So I don't know. I don't know if this was
- 18:07Speaker 2: sudden for them, or or if this was sort of
- 18:11Speaker 2: like they knew this was coming. I have no idea,
- 18:14Speaker 2: but it's it's just shocking to see her because she
- 18:17Speaker 2: just doesn't look like herself. It's just it's that part
- 18:20Speaker 2: of it. But yeah, we also talked about what I
- 18:24Speaker 2: think is so interesting that Ozzy Osbourne is that just
- 18:27Speaker 2: how he's been able to have such a huge career
- 18:30Speaker 2: because he was introduced to a whole new generation with
- 18:34Speaker 2: the TV show, right, because we're all we're all these
- 18:37Speaker 2: gen xers that kind of remember him from MTV and
- 18:40Speaker 2: all of that time. Yeah, but so many people know
- 18:43Speaker 2: who he is because of the show, and I think
- 18:47Speaker 2: it's such a it was. It was pretty gutsy because
- 18:49Speaker 2: they were the first family, celebrity, wealthy family to let
- 18:55Speaker 2: cameras come in and follow them around. And now this formula, right,
- 18:58Speaker 2: it would be Kardashians. Would there be I don't know
- 19:02Speaker 2: what other families there are besides the Kardashians that have
- 19:05Speaker 2: made so much money from this, but yeah, would any
- 19:07Speaker 2: of us exist if it wasn't for the Osborns.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It's interesting, It's interesting.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I mean again, I don't think he was like the
- 19:15Speaker 1: greatest husband, but you do see that soft side of him.
- 19:19Speaker 1: And I remember when that show came out, and because
- 19:21Speaker 1: I was such a fan of the Real World, you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: the original Real World and all that, I was like,
- 19:26Speaker 1: somehow in me, I'm like, one day I would be
- 19:29Speaker 1: able to love, to be able to write articles about
- 19:32Speaker 1: this genre of television. Look at me now, one hundred
- 19:35Speaker 1: years later. Who knew a job would create itself? So
- 19:42Speaker 1: what do y'all watch besides Bravo, tell me what you're.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Watching, Brooke, Well, we watch you know, I don't watch
- 19:50Speaker 3: a lot of TV or TV series. I watch a
- 19:54Speaker 3: lot of documentaries. That's kind of the main thing I
- 19:59Speaker 3: like to watch. And yeah, you know I have I
- 20:03Speaker 3: have my favorite series, you know, like I I will
- 20:06Speaker 3: always watch In just like that, even though everyone's bagging
- 20:10Speaker 3: on it, and of course it's not as good as
- 20:12Speaker 3: Sex and the City, but I will never stop watching that.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I get it.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know I have my favorites. But you know,
- 20:19Speaker 3: we watch. I have to watch a lot of stuff
- 20:21Speaker 3: for the podcast. A lot of times I just don't
- 20:23Speaker 3: have I just don't have the time or the bandwidth
- 20:26Speaker 3: to get into these.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Long series on television.
- 20:31Speaker 3: And if you don't get in from the beginning, it's
- 20:33Speaker 3: like I don't have eight hours to catch up on
- 20:35Speaker 3: the catch up.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I know, I know. You know I did that with
- 20:38Speaker 1: Miami because Miami, Marisol and Alexia were on Real Housewife,
- 20:45Speaker 1: Ultimate Girls Trip a couple of seasons back, and I'd
- 20:49Speaker 1: never watched Miami. I knew I should, I just didn't
- 20:51Speaker 1: have time and I couldn't take on another show, and
- 20:53Speaker 1: it was too late for me. And then it had
- 20:55Speaker 1: come back, and I was like, shoot, and so I
- 20:57Speaker 1: thought I'd escaped with never having watch it. And so
- 21:00Speaker 1: I saw them on an Ultimate Girls Shop and I
- 21:02Speaker 1: was like, all right, now I got to go watch
- 21:04Speaker 1: Miami because I love Mary Saul and Alexia. So I did.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I went back and watched the whole first four seasons
- 21:11Speaker 1: before they cut it off. I went like all the
- 21:13Speaker 1: way back like Leah Black. I went all the way
- 21:16Speaker 1: back to Leah Black. But it's like you're saying, it's like,
- 21:20Speaker 1: all right, I got to commit to it. And like
- 21:22Speaker 1: my husband and I, I know, we never watched anything together,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and because I watched so much for work, my little
- 21:29Speaker 1: my little time, Like right now I'm two behind on
- 21:30Speaker 1: the Gilded Age and I'm panicked, but we're watching The
- 21:34Speaker 1: Bear together. We watched all the seasons and so we
- 21:37Speaker 1: had two episodes left. And it's what you're saying, it's
- 21:40Speaker 1: like I don't have time to give him an hour
- 21:43Speaker 1: and ten minutes to watch two episodes of The Bear
- 21:44Speaker 1: the finale, Like I don't have that in me of like, well,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I guess, I was like, I guess I just won't
- 21:49Speaker 1: know what happened because because I watch consume so much
- 21:54Speaker 1: for work that when you want, like you're saying Brook, like,
- 21:56Speaker 1: when you want to have time to just watch something,
- 21:58Speaker 1: you it's almost overwhelming to think something like The Bear,
- 22:02Speaker 1: which is such amazing, or Yellow Jackets, You're like, do
- 22:05Speaker 1: I have fourteen hours to do this?
- 22:08Speaker 3: You know, you know it's hard because I did watch
- 22:10Speaker 3: the whole first season of Yellow Jackets and I loved it.
- 22:13Speaker 3: And then again the timing was bad. The second season
- 22:16Speaker 3: comes back and I didn't I don't know too many
- 22:19Speaker 3: episodes went by.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I didn't have the time.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Although you reminded me those girls Trip, the Housewives girls,
- 22:26Speaker 3: I have made time to see. I think all every
- 22:29Speaker 3: episode of all of those they're good because they are
- 22:32Speaker 3: so good. I mean the last one with the New
- 22:36Speaker 3: York we covered that one.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that was so good. Those six episodes where it
- 22:42Speaker 2: ends with Luanne banging them the chef.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You're like, I mean it probably it probably started it
- 22:49Speaker 1: probably started with that and ended with that. That's your yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And then we of course we have the lost season
- 22:56Speaker 1: a Morocco that we're never going to see because of
- 22:58Speaker 1: the lawsuits involved involved there. And now you know Brandy
- 23:03Speaker 1: Glamville was on that trip and speaking of like face
- 23:06Speaker 1: falling off your face.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's she has.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Said it is from some sort of parasite or something
- 23:12Speaker 1: she's got. Yeah. But and now Vicky Gumfelson has said
- 23:15Speaker 1: she got it too.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I heard her talking about that, and I'm just like
- 23:20Speaker 3: that I haven't seen this, but I've seen Brandy's face
- 23:24Speaker 3: looking weird. But like someone was saying that you can
- 23:28Speaker 3: see the parasite like moving on her face, like it's
- 23:32Speaker 3: in her face.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I've heard that as well. But because like when we
- 23:36Speaker 1: talk about stuff like this, I start to get, you
- 23:39Speaker 1: know it, just I get very I get a little queasy,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and so I can't quite bring myself to sort of
- 23:44Speaker 1: look at something like that. Like nothing gets me more
- 23:47Speaker 1: upset if I'm just like I click something in a
- 23:49Speaker 1: scroll and they show like a big like boil or
- 23:53Speaker 1: something that you know, and and it's like click here
- 23:55Speaker 1: for medical news. I'm like, you don't, really, it's too
- 23:59Speaker 1: much commercial. Yeah, And there's now like stress toys that
- 24:08Speaker 1: are little pimple popper things to do. I'm like, then,
- 24:11Speaker 1: what do you do you like stick the goo back in?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Like ew, It's just not for me. And so the
- 24:16Speaker 1: thing about Brady I've heard about it, but Vicki said
- 24:19Speaker 1: she got something similar, and from her understanding is most
- 24:22Speaker 1: of everybody on the trip and hers manifested in you know,
- 24:25Speaker 1: her gut region and she can't poop or whatever. I
- 24:28Speaker 1: don't know talking about her poop, so that we're never
- 24:34Speaker 1: seeing it. By the way, I mean, we're never seeing
- 24:36Speaker 1: now all the legal issues and now everybody on the
- 24:38Speaker 1: trip is saying they all got a parasite we're never seeing.
- 24:42Speaker 1: But it's like, would it be great if Brabo just said,
- 24:44Speaker 1: if you want to see it, pay one hundred dollars.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I would pay one hundred dollars to see it. I
- 24:49Speaker 1: would because I love it perview. Yeah, yeah, just let
- 24:53Speaker 1: let us see it. Just give it to us, give
- 24:55Speaker 1: it to us. We want it.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Well, because now it's evidence, you know, it's evidence in
- 25:01Speaker 3: a lawsuit. So and yeah, those another thing.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I was shocked.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Do you know the Bravo Docket podcasts. Yeah, yeah, I
- 25:10Speaker 3: was just looking at because I hadn't really looked at
- 25:12Speaker 3: the episodes in a while, and I was just scrolling
- 25:15Speaker 3: through the episodes and I'm like, oh my god, there's
- 25:17Speaker 3: so many lawsuits right now against Bravo. You know, related
- 25:21Speaker 3: to Bravo related to these people, so many.
- 25:25Speaker 1: So many, They do a great job over there.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Vicky is being sued for financial elder abuse.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I heard. This is the side hustle that
- 25:37Speaker 2: she had of like finance, like being a financial planner.
- 25:41Speaker 1: No, no, no, this is her work.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, this is her work.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Oh so she sold she sold this elderly woman a
- 25:51Speaker 3: bunch of crappy financial products like you know that whole
- 25:55Speaker 3: life insurance and some annuities and tied up all the
- 25:59Speaker 3: money and had some woman had to pay these like
- 26:02Speaker 3: three hundred thousand dollars a year premiums for some thing
- 26:07Speaker 3: that doesn't pay out for ten years.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I mean, really awful.
- 26:10Speaker 3: This woman needs access to her money and now she
- 26:13Speaker 3: no longer can access it without having a huge penalty. Anyway,
- 26:19Speaker 3: I mean it sounds pretty bad, Like it really does
- 26:22Speaker 3: not sound good.
- 26:23Speaker 1: How long has VICKI been on our TV, I mean
- 26:26Speaker 1: twenty something years. It's pretty amazing that this is the
- 26:29Speaker 1: first time this has happened. She's you know, she does
- 26:32Speaker 1: kind of hold herself up to be like the you know,
- 26:34Speaker 1: good work. Yeah, it's work. She's a businesswoman.
- 26:38Speaker 2: She got to work.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well I.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Do think she did expand her repertoire from just insurance
- 26:44Speaker 3: to this you know, quote unquote retirement planning. And she
- 26:48Speaker 3: was working with this man and he's also being sued
- 26:50Speaker 3: with her, and the two of them were just recommending
- 26:55Speaker 3: these things that are supposed to be good for lowering
- 26:58Speaker 3: taxes and for retirement, and it just turns out it
- 27:02Speaker 3: wasn't true, and now is really up the creek without
- 27:06Speaker 3: a pot.
- 27:07Speaker 2: It's like being a doctor and being like, I could,
- 27:09Speaker 2: I could do boob jobs. Let me just start doing this,
- 27:12Speaker 2: just start.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I know enough I did yoo.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Because that's what I thought. That's why I thought it
- 27:19Speaker 2: was a financial planning, like that she was selling things
- 27:22Speaker 2: that had to do with money that it sounds like
- 27:23Speaker 2: she didn't quite understand right. Or this other guy sounded
- 27:27Speaker 2: pretty shady too.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yeah, So, speaking of shady people, what do you guys
- 27:35Speaker 1: think about the Denise Richards divorce. It seems like it's,
- 27:38Speaker 1: you know, Aaron did himself no favors, as we call him,
- 27:43Speaker 1: Big Dick, Aaron who did himself no favors by going
- 27:48Speaker 1: on in TMZ and doing that live where he's just
- 27:50Speaker 1: oh yeah, and then I picked. I don't care if
- 27:53Speaker 1: she was banging six guys a weekend. You still don't
- 27:56Speaker 1: need to punch her in the face. Yeah, what was
- 27:59Speaker 1: the black guy about it? I don't care what she
- 28:00Speaker 1: was doing.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Well, he claims the black eye was from her running
- 28:04Speaker 2: into some you know, classic like running into some kind
- 28:07Speaker 2: of wall. But I think it tells you volumes about
- 28:11Speaker 2: both of them, just about how they're reacting to this,
- 28:13Speaker 2: because Denise, you know, is keeping her head down, she's
- 28:17Speaker 2: you know, I saw her. She's promoting something, she's doing,
- 28:20Speaker 2: she's working, she's just moving forward and working. And he
- 28:24Speaker 2: immediately is I'm a victim. Let me tell you my story.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And it's always very telling when someone shows up to
- 28:33Speaker 2: one of these things where and they cannot take any
- 28:37Speaker 2: iota accountability for their part in the relationship. So it's
- 28:41Speaker 2: always like they Denise, Denis, Denise, she did all of
- 28:44Speaker 2: these things, and it's like, well, if you can't own anything,
- 28:48Speaker 2: then that tells me so much about you because you
- 28:52Speaker 2: have zero, zero awareness, And it makes me think that
- 28:57Speaker 2: maybe all, yeah, the stuff does seem like it might
- 29:00Speaker 2: be true. Because they started playing old clips from Beverly Hills. Yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 2: and then you go back and you're like, oh, that's right,
- 29:07Speaker 2: he was like, I'm gonna crush your hand. And the
- 29:10Speaker 2: way he spoke to the way he spoke to uh uh,
- 29:15Speaker 2: I think he was teddy Teddy Jane, and they were
- 29:19Speaker 2: just sort of like, hey, we don't want to fight
- 29:20Speaker 2: with you, and he was speaking to them like they were,
- 29:24Speaker 2: you know, just really condescending and rude. And he really
- 29:27Speaker 2: thought he was something. He thinks he's something very special.
- 29:31Speaker 2: And you know, apparently that business of his. I had
- 29:34Speaker 2: read a story about how he had promised this someone
- 29:37Speaker 2: that he could cure their wife's cancer.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and speaking of lawsuits, somebody'suing him for that.
- 29:43Speaker 2: He had to close the yeah, and over six figures
- 29:48Speaker 2: like that many treatments and then he's being sued. So
- 29:51Speaker 2: that tells you a lot. Yeah, he's kind of a
- 29:53Speaker 2: con artist. I mean this whole thing.
- 29:55Speaker 3: When he was explaining the four G fire. You remember
- 30:01Speaker 3: his wacky soliloqui where he was talking about people following
- 30:06Speaker 3: him and frequencies you know, Yeah, yeah, I mean he's
- 30:12Speaker 3: that's nuts. And yeah, I think Denise just fell hard
- 30:16Speaker 3: for the d and.
- 30:17Speaker 2: You know, and then she couldn't see straight.
- 30:20Speaker 3: And you know, we talked about this on one of
- 30:22Speaker 3: our bonus episodes about you know, Portenice Richard.
- 30:25Speaker 1: She she just she just is this caretaker who just
- 30:29Speaker 1: it's a sweet.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Woman who doesn't seem to have a mean bone in
- 30:32Speaker 3: her body, and it's just just gets taken advantage of
- 30:36Speaker 3: by people.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I think, yeah, and I think that that's probably ninety
- 30:41Speaker 1: nine percent it And then I think one percent in
- 30:45Speaker 1: there is somewhere is like Denise, But I think ninety
- 30:50Speaker 1: nine percent of it is she gets taken advantage of it.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But at one percent, she knew what was going on
- 30:55Speaker 1: with him and was like, well, I have a lot
- 30:57Speaker 1: of money. I'll just let his parents move into my
- 30:59Speaker 1: house and I'll move into an apartment. Like what, no,
- 31:01Speaker 1: kick everybody outa take back your malibi property.
- 31:06Speaker 2: But she's not really quick, sorry, because I think it's
- 31:08Speaker 2: more than one percent. I mean, I love Denise, She's
- 31:11Speaker 2: niece fucking Richards. Can I swear? I love her. I
- 31:14Speaker 2: think she's great, But she she likes a bad boy,
- 31:20Speaker 2: she likes a project, she likes that, and she continues
- 31:23Speaker 2: to pick men that, you know, that are very problematic,
- 31:29Speaker 2: and she's got to own some of that. I mean again,
- 31:32Speaker 2: I think that she I think again, our best qualities
- 31:34Speaker 2: are our worst qualities, right, I think because she's such
- 31:36Speaker 2: a caretaker and she's loving and sweet and wants to nurture,
- 31:39Speaker 2: I think that's amazing. But then what happens is she
- 31:41Speaker 2: keeps hooking up with these guys and then she becomes
- 31:45Speaker 2: you know now and now she's taking care of everyone,
- 31:48Speaker 2: and then never really getting back what she wanted. In
- 31:52Speaker 2: that scene from her show Denise Richardson or her Wild Things,
- 31:56Speaker 2: you know she had, there was a scene where she
- 31:57Speaker 2: had dinner with Charlie Sheen and she's trying to get
- 32:00Speaker 2: Charlie Sheen to kind of admit, like, no, you were
- 32:03Speaker 2: good for me, Denise, you know you did treating me well.
- 32:06Speaker 2: And he was so dismissive of that, like she's desperate
- 32:09Speaker 2: for but I'm I'm you know, seeing I'm doing all
- 32:12Speaker 2: these nice things for you. Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And she took she took in his other kids. Yes,
- 32:17Speaker 1: her wife had to go to rehab. She's like, okay,
- 32:18Speaker 1: what's two more? Bring them over?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you know. Yeah. So she's great in some ways,
- 32:22Speaker 2: but lack of boundaries and others.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yes, lack of boundaries. Remember when he brought the hooker
- 32:27Speaker 1: over for Thanksgiving? Yeah, and She's like, just bring her
- 32:31Speaker 1: in because like you wanted to in the car. That's bad,
- 32:35Speaker 1: didn't she want to have some turkey and gravy. Now,
- 32:39Speaker 1: you guys have not watched the Valley Reunion that was
- 32:42Speaker 1: on last night's three parts, so we got we sort
- 32:45Speaker 1: of touched on everything on the first episode. We sort
- 32:48Speaker 1: of got eight at the beginning of little Jackson Brittany,
- 32:51Speaker 1: and then we got a little more into it in
- 32:52Speaker 1: the end. Our prediction is they'll go into all the
- 32:56Speaker 1: minor issues in episode to people with my then they'll
- 32:59Speaker 1: roll in to dark, said Danny at the end. Then
- 33:02Speaker 1: they'll roll into episode three will only be about Jackson Brittany.
- 33:07Speaker 1: But it's funny because as we started talking about it today,
- 33:09Speaker 1: I said, ah, you know, yes he's been fired, Yes
- 33:12Speaker 1: he's been put away from his bar, but we're gonna
- 33:15Speaker 1: have to see what happens on this reunion for that
- 33:17Speaker 1: to happen. Because at the beginning of the reunion, everything
- 33:20Speaker 1: she says, he'll go, that's true, I did that. That's true,
- 33:23Speaker 1: which is new for Jack's right, because usually it's like okay,
- 33:27Speaker 1: but but he always has a I did that, butt,
- 33:32Speaker 1: remember what you did? Or who else in the world
- 33:34Speaker 1: didn't have tax issues. You know, everything is typical attic behavior.
- 33:38Speaker 1: And it's super interesting to me because he was very
- 33:42Speaker 1: much just like, that's right, that's true, that I did
- 33:45Speaker 1: everything in my power to push my wife away. She's
- 33:47Speaker 1: the victim, not me. A lot of pr training, a
- 33:50Speaker 1: lot of psych speak that is doesn't come naturally from him.
- 33:56Speaker 1: She does go onto a diet where Andy's saying, now,
- 34:01Speaker 1: what led you to go, you know, to rehab the
- 34:03Speaker 1: first time, because he went twice and she's the you know,
- 34:08Speaker 1: the coffee table that was thrown at her. She again says,
- 34:12Speaker 1: you through the coffee table. I mean my knee immediately
- 34:14Speaker 1: turned black, and he's like, true. She goes into and
- 34:17Speaker 1: you broke all our barstools, which we did see that
- 34:20Speaker 1: on the show. But then she said, you broke my
- 34:23Speaker 1: Stanley cup, which is very hard. I got to tell
- 34:26Speaker 1: you unbreakable, that would be hard. She said, you broke
- 34:31Speaker 1: my Stanley cup, you broke my iPhone, you broke my laptop.
- 34:34Speaker 1: She lists like ten things, probably just whatever was on
- 34:37Speaker 1: the counter he was throwing, you know, laptop, phone, cup, whatever,
- 34:42Speaker 1: And she says, and then you and then you threw
- 34:44Speaker 1: me into the bushes. And through the rose bushes. Now
- 34:47Speaker 1: this is new information, but the whole time we've been
- 34:50Speaker 1: saying this season he did something else physical put hands
- 34:54Speaker 1: on her that they're just not saying to save his job.
- 34:58Speaker 1: And you could tell the way they are talking about
- 35:00Speaker 1: it that everybody knows something else happened here. The throwing
- 35:05Speaker 1: the coffee table and making her leg turn black with
- 35:07Speaker 1: the kid in the house is bad enough. Then when
- 35:10Speaker 1: somebody else came over and they mentioned the barstool, he's like, oh, yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 1: I got mad, But who else wouldn't everybody else would
- 35:15Speaker 1: be mad about that too. He couldn't, you know. So
- 35:19Speaker 1: But when she started listing out all the things he
- 35:21Speaker 1: broke in that one episode, and he said, I was
- 35:24Speaker 1: very aggressed. He's, you know, a cooke d whatever. He's aggressive.
- 35:28Speaker 1: And she said, and he threw me in the rose bushes.
- 35:30Speaker 1: And then he goes, no, I didn't, I didn't that
- 35:32Speaker 1: didn't happen, and she goes, Jicks, we have She said,
- 35:38Speaker 1: we have it on the ring camera footage, and then
- 35:40Speaker 1: she goes everybody, some people here have seen it. So
- 35:45Speaker 1: of course everybody was like, they've all seen it. I
- 35:48Speaker 1: don't think Danny and have seen it because they were
- 35:51Speaker 1: like clutching each other. They were horrified. Wow, when she said,
- 35:55Speaker 1: people here have seen the ring camera, Zach and Jasmine go,
- 35:59Speaker 1: we've seen it. You threw her in the bushes. Now
- 36:03Speaker 1: in his mind, probably he was walking out of the
- 36:05Speaker 1: house in anger and probably pushed her into the bushes.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Whatever happened, he physically assaulted her, yeah, which we've known
- 36:13Speaker 1: all along and they just haven't said it. But when
- 36:15Speaker 1: they said it on this first episode, by the time
- 36:17Speaker 1: we got wrapped up with our recap, I go, well,
- 36:20Speaker 1: that's what it is. Now that it's been said out
- 36:22Speaker 1: loud that he physically bid hands on her, not just
- 36:24Speaker 1: the furniture. Now they have to let him go. They
- 36:26Speaker 1: have no choice.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, and we don't know the half of it.
- 36:29Speaker 3: I was actually write an article where, you know, these
- 36:32Speaker 3: domestic violence experts were talking about him, and they were
- 36:39Speaker 3: saying that he clearly, just from what we see and
- 36:43Speaker 3: when the cameras are on, he is clearly physically violent
- 36:47Speaker 3: to her. He is laying hands on her. And it
- 36:50Speaker 3: wasn't just the rose bushes time. I mean, because he
- 36:54Speaker 3: is too amped up. He is too he is so
- 36:57Speaker 3: comfortable doing these things on camera. What do you think
- 36:59Speaker 3: he's doing behind closed doors? And it's really scary. And
- 37:04Speaker 3: I think there was an episode where she was talking
- 37:07Speaker 3: to a therapist or something and she she said, I'm
- 37:10Speaker 3: starting to feel scared.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I think she was talking to be a divorce attorney.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Attorney. Yeah, and that's.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Big to say when you know you're on camera, so
- 37:21Speaker 3: you know, that's kind of a you know, cry for help.
- 37:23Speaker 3: I don't know, Tess, what do you I mean, what
- 37:25Speaker 3: do you think about?
- 37:26Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean, well, and he's coked out, and I
- 37:29Speaker 2: think he's again allegedly, I believe he's always been taking steroids, which.
- 37:33Speaker 1: That gets brought up. That gets brought up.
- 37:38Speaker 2: You go together, and then you add some alcohol in
- 37:40Speaker 2: and he says he has anger issues and so many
- 37:42Speaker 2: of these other things. Yeah, yeah, I mean I think
- 37:45Speaker 2: that it's very very telling how much he's obsessed with
- 37:49Speaker 2: this ring camera and having cameras. Who has cameras in
- 37:52Speaker 2: their house like this? Like who has cameras in every
- 37:55Speaker 2: single room of your house? Why do you need that?
- 37:57Speaker 2: Why do if you trust your partner control control? So
- 38:02Speaker 2: it's it's but it's obsessive and he's he's incredibly controlling.
- 38:05Speaker 2: And yeah, and That's why rehab was rough for him,
- 38:08Speaker 2: because he could not control, he could not you know,
- 38:13Speaker 2: invade their space. But again, I don't know what this
- 38:17Speaker 2: this place that he went to. It seems very very
- 38:20Speaker 2: Why did they Why did they let him back?
- 38:23Speaker 3: Like if he kept leaving, like yes, you know if
- 38:28Speaker 3: you leave a program.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Well yeah, I mean I've worked at lots of different
- 38:32Speaker 2: programs and I've worked at once where you know, the
- 38:35Speaker 2: people had tons of money and people had no money.
- 38:37Speaker 2: And across the board. If you're in residential program, they
- 38:40Speaker 2: take your phone, they do not let you have phone privileges. Correct,
- 38:45Speaker 2: I mean again, you know phones and I haven't worked
- 38:48Speaker 2: in the treatment and a bit, so phones are so
- 38:50Speaker 2: different now at that time, we weren't so dependent on
- 38:52Speaker 2: our phones. But yeah, you weren't. You didn't have your phone,
- 38:56Speaker 2: you had limited calls, you called, you know, And what
- 38:59Speaker 2: you're doing in rehab is you are learning how to
- 39:02Speaker 2: like life on life's terms. You're learning how to sit
- 39:06Speaker 2: with your feelings, sit with discomfort, not rage out when
- 39:10Speaker 2: you can't use the phone, right, sit and that and
- 39:13Speaker 2: he why why they kept letting him out? They did
- 39:17Speaker 2: such a disservice to him. If if they thought they
- 39:20Speaker 2: were doing good treatment. They weren't. That was such a
- 39:22Speaker 2: disservice because he never learned how to sit with his feelings,
- 39:25Speaker 2: like what was the point of that?
- 39:27Speaker 1: You just he was self filming, he was raged texting
- 39:30Speaker 1: and what he said and watch what I was live
- 39:32Speaker 1: when Andy asked him, like what kind of treatment center
- 39:35Speaker 1: was this? You know? And he said, don't blame me,
- 39:38Speaker 1: and he said, in California, the law is after twenty
- 39:40Speaker 1: four hours you could get your phone back. No, so
- 39:43Speaker 1: I so I again, he doesn't tell the truth. So
- 39:46Speaker 1: you know, my thought is okay, probably they would give
- 39:49Speaker 1: you your phone back for like an hour in the afternoon
- 39:52Speaker 1: to conduct business. But it was all day with him,
- 39:55Speaker 1: so every time he had a break, he was getting
- 39:57Speaker 1: his phone and texting her. I told you, you know,
- 39:59Speaker 1: my husband was and in patient treatment for three months
- 40:02Speaker 1: and he never not once, never, not for three months,
- 40:05Speaker 1: never had his cell phone ever. If he wanted to
- 40:08Speaker 1: make a call. It was like, I'm going to call
- 40:09Speaker 1: you at six o'clock Pacific time, and if you don't answer,
- 40:13Speaker 1: I'm going to the next person. Right because because he
- 40:16Speaker 1: had thirty minutes and that wasn't even every day, and
- 40:19Speaker 1: you had to earn it, good, to earn it, to
- 40:21Speaker 1: be able to call. And you're in a room with
- 40:22Speaker 1: a bunch of other people, so everybody can hear what
- 40:24Speaker 1: you're saying, so you can't be trying to get like
- 40:25Speaker 1: your dealer to drop some shit off. So it's insane.
- 40:31Speaker 1: And he was like, well the name of it is
- 40:32Speaker 1: so and so it was a great facility. And even
- 40:36Speaker 1: Zach was like, I don't even know what kind of
- 40:37Speaker 1: place this one Nobody I've ever known, and he goes,
- 40:40Speaker 1: it was beautiful. It's a great facility. But I think
- 40:43Speaker 1: probably we'll get into that in episode three because I think,
- 40:45Speaker 1: like I said, they got a little into the Jackson Brittany,
- 40:48Speaker 1: I think we'll do the minor stories in the second one,
- 40:50Speaker 1: and then the third one will probably roll dark side
- 40:52Speaker 1: Danny all the way into what happened with Jackson. But
- 40:55Speaker 1: it's very interesting. On this first one, he says they
- 40:58Speaker 1: were supposed to July fifteenth have the divorce finalized, and
- 41:03Speaker 1: Britney said to watch what happens live. Both of us
- 41:06Speaker 1: didn't get something in on time, so it has been
- 41:09Speaker 1: pushed to October. But what she said on this episode
- 41:13Speaker 1: the reunion, which was filmed in June. She said, Jack's
- 41:18Speaker 1: called me the other day and said he doesn't want
- 41:19Speaker 1: to sign the paperwork yet because he doesn't know if
- 41:21Speaker 1: he's going to get fired and need to ask for
- 41:23Speaker 1: alimony from me.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I heard that, Yeah, oh my god, which.
- 41:27Speaker 1: He had a good inkling. And when she said the
- 41:30Speaker 1: thing about pushing me into the bushes, now we've got
- 41:32Speaker 1: it on camera verbally that he did that. Probably the
- 41:34Speaker 1: production already knew, but now verbally it's been set on
- 41:37Speaker 1: camera and they decided to air it. So now they
- 41:39Speaker 1: have to let him go.
- 41:40Speaker 2: So I wonder if there was some sort of unspoken
- 41:43Speaker 2: agreement that we're never going to bring up the bushes
- 41:45Speaker 2: and that Brittany now was like, I'm bringing it up.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I'm done because I think he's been so still since
- 41:52Speaker 1: they've been apart. She said, there are decent days and
- 41:57Speaker 1: then there are terrible days where he just spams her
- 42:00Speaker 1: all day long and goes goes through her trash to
- 42:03Speaker 1: see if she's got condoms, like all this stuff out.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah, this is very scary. It's very scary.
- 42:10Speaker 1: She's like, we didn't even have sex for three years.
- 42:12Speaker 1: He doesn't like me. He called me a tree trunk
- 42:15Speaker 1: because I had stretch marks. She was like, he was
- 42:17Speaker 1: so verbally abusive to me, but now he's but now
- 42:20Speaker 1: he wants me, you know, because he's just control. And
- 42:24Speaker 1: I think in the past what we've seen with Jackson,
- 42:26Speaker 1: if you watch Evander pump rolls, he never acted this
- 42:29Speaker 1: way about other girlfriends, even Saucy, who he's obsessed with,
- 42:32Speaker 1: because he always had some other girls to bang right
- 42:36Speaker 1: and now with Brittany because they had the marriage and
- 42:38Speaker 1: the da da da da. And she's on TV saying, no,
- 42:42Speaker 1: I used to pay seven thousand dollars a month mortgage
- 42:45Speaker 1: and now I pay twenty one thousand dollars a month
- 42:47Speaker 1: mortgage because of his debt. She's on TV telling all
- 42:50Speaker 1: his business and so he can't he can't take it.
- 42:53Speaker 1: And so, like I said, it'll be very interesting test
- 42:57Speaker 1: for you to watch it. All the what he is
- 42:59Speaker 1: saying sounds he's sounds so coached. Bess. He never says
- 43:03Speaker 1: I was really mad, I was really aggressive, but anybody
- 43:05Speaker 1: else would do the same. Or I didn't pay my mortgage,
- 43:09Speaker 1: but who else hadn't skipped a mortgage payment, which is
- 43:11Speaker 1: what he almost does.
- 43:13Speaker 2: I've never I have never missed a payment.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Who else had and had an issue with the government.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I mean, that's an issue with the government.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Who else, he always says, who else wouldn't be mad
- 43:25Speaker 1: if they saw that on their kid, you know, on
- 43:28Speaker 1: the iPad? Who else wouldn't be mad? Well, everybody would
- 43:30Speaker 1: be mad, but nobody would throw a coffee table at
- 43:32Speaker 1: their wife. You know, some people would. So it's really
- 43:35Speaker 1: it's very interesting, and I'll be interested for you guys
- 43:37Speaker 1: to watch it, especially Brook two for the legal aspect
- 43:41Speaker 1: of it, because you get Jesse and Michelle now and
- 43:45Speaker 1: Jesse's representing himself.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Yes, no, never a good idea.
- 43:51Speaker 1: And he goes, she says something, and he goes, well,
- 43:54Speaker 1: you know, I got the discovery yesterday, and they I'll
- 43:57Speaker 1: go Discovery, like, you know what the fuck you're talking
- 44:00Speaker 1: talking about, and he like makes a joke like I
- 44:02Speaker 1: used to watch suits, so I know how to do
- 44:03Speaker 1: all this, and then he goes, well, I got I
- 44:06Speaker 1: recently got Michelle's discovery and I was going through it
- 44:08Speaker 1: and I had to talk to my lawyer. And that's
- 44:10Speaker 1: when they all go, aren't do you talk to yourself?
- 44:12Speaker 1: You're your own lawyer, And he laughed. He goes, oh,
- 44:14Speaker 1: I have a team of people that I talked to,
- 44:16Speaker 1: and they all looked at Jason. Jason goes, Nope, not me.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I do trademark law. But that's It's interesting that both
- 44:27Speaker 1: of these couples have come to a custody agreement that
- 44:30Speaker 1: they're both okay with, and they're both nicely speaking about
- 44:33Speaker 1: the custody agreement, but they can't come to this divorce
- 44:37Speaker 1: agreement because of course, it comes down to money. And
- 44:40Speaker 1: Jesse and Michelle, she said, he really, he literally wants
- 44:43Speaker 1: me to pay him back for any money I spent
- 44:45Speaker 1: there in the marriage. She's like, if I took I
- 44:48Speaker 1: took a two day trip to Napa with a friend,
- 44:49Speaker 1: he wants me to pay that back. And I was like,
- 44:53Speaker 1: what about all the thousands and millions of dollars he's
- 44:55Speaker 1: spent on wine? He has to pay that back to you.
- 44:57Speaker 1: She was like, She's like, it's crazy. He told me
- 44:59Speaker 1: he would ever leave our home, which forced me to
- 45:02Speaker 1: leave our home, and then I had to pay his rent.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Am I rent? It was interesting. It's the.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Men are the worst.
- 45:10Speaker 1: He's super controlling. Jesse.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Yeah, he's controlling in different ways. I think what's hard.
- 45:16Speaker 2: What's interesting is when you're always kind of comparing Jackson Jesse.
- 45:20Speaker 2: So in comparison to Jack, Yeah, you can't. I find
- 45:23Speaker 2: myself like, Jesse's not so bad, you.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Know, right. No, he's funny, Yeah, you know, he's kind
- 45:29Speaker 1: of cute.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Yeah, he's not growing anyone in bushes, you know, he's
- 45:33Speaker 2: like you know, you know, with these cameras and all that.
- 45:35Speaker 2: But yeah, he's he's got his own he's got his
- 45:39Speaker 2: own stuff too. And I mean he essentially made up
- 45:42Speaker 2: a rumor about his ex wife that she was sleeping
- 45:45Speaker 2: for men with men for two thousand dollars or fifteen
- 45:48Speaker 2: hundred dollars a night, and then admits, no, I made
- 45:51Speaker 2: that up.
- 45:51Speaker 1: I made it up.
- 45:52Speaker 2: And Shell's like, I'm the mother of your child. Like
- 45:54Speaker 2: that's the stuff that you really have to think through, Like,
- 45:58Speaker 2: not only are you thinking to yourself, I should spread
- 46:02Speaker 2: this rumor about my partner, then you do it, and
- 46:05Speaker 2: then you talk about it on camera like you that
- 46:08Speaker 2: means that you really don't see what the problem is
- 46:11Speaker 2: with with what you're what you're doing right now.
- 46:14Speaker 1: But really, really he's pretty terrible. Yes, see.
- 46:18Speaker 2: So the jack stuff, though, I absolutely agree with you
- 46:21Speaker 2: that by the third episode he's going to be freaking out.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Jack's because you're absolutely right. People can contain themselves, Yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 2: for an hour or two. I always say this that
- 46:31Speaker 2: when you have a client and you see them either
- 46:33Speaker 2: weekly or every other week for therapy, I don't know
- 46:36Speaker 2: what's good. I mean, you can show me anything. People
- 46:38Speaker 2: can contain that. But it's really it's in treatment, it's
- 46:41Speaker 2: in reality shows. It's in these intense things that you
- 46:44Speaker 2: really see who people are. And these two men, it's like,
- 46:49Speaker 2: I gotta stop going like, well, which one's worse. I'm like,
- 46:51Speaker 2: they're both bad. They're both terrible.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And I think Michelle has said that a lot on
- 46:54Speaker 1: the After Show. She's like, nobody you like, where like
- 46:58Speaker 1: like Vicky Gumblston, where's my castle role? Like with Michelle,
- 47:01Speaker 1: she's like, where's my cast role? Nobody cares about how
- 47:03Speaker 1: what I'm going through because Jackson is so terrible, but
- 47:06Speaker 1: also what I'm going through is terrible, you know, And
- 47:10Speaker 1: she is, She's like, I'm very guarded. And Jesse he
- 47:13Speaker 1: cries all of the time, and you know, they showed
- 47:16Speaker 1: a clip of him, like you know, and then Christmas
- 47:19Speaker 1: he starts crying and she goes, you have to stop
- 47:21Speaker 1: with the tears. And he just dries it right up,
- 47:24Speaker 1: and they're like, wow, man, you miss her calling to
- 47:26Speaker 1: be an actor.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Well, I like your impression. It's kind of did you
- 47:29Speaker 2: get that from Watch What Crappens? Because that's what they
- 47:31Speaker 2: always do, that motorize hello boy.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Well she is. She is a robot. But I believe
- 47:37Speaker 1: that in her home. I believe her parents are Cuban
- 47:40Speaker 1: and Persian and so and they were both immigrants, so
- 47:43Speaker 1: I think that probably there were so many languages spoke
- 47:45Speaker 1: in her home that I also think that's her flat affect.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I think she probably learned English listening to two other
- 47:52Speaker 1: languages and also learning English, so I think that some
- 47:56Speaker 1: of her words are the pronunciation is always a little off.
- 48:00Speaker 1: So she is like a robot. But she's just very like, Okay, Jesse,
- 48:05Speaker 1: stop crying. Nobody wants to see that, Jesse. You know,
- 48:08Speaker 1: she's just very flat. And she said, you know, no,
- 48:12Speaker 1: I don't cry like that, and I am very guarded,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you know. And then they we're all like, duh, Now,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I do want to talk to you guys about Miami.
- 48:23Speaker 2: So, oh, I'm sorry, can we talk about Janet? I
- 48:28Speaker 2: have to talk about Janet?
- 48:30Speaker 1: Talk about Okay, Yeah, let's do it. Yeah, go ahead
- 48:33Speaker 1: that her.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I know people have a lot of feelings about Janet,
- 48:36Speaker 2: and I'm sorry she's getting all this hate. No one
- 48:37Speaker 2: should be writing her and saying you're an awful person
- 48:40Speaker 2: or stalking her, right, right, but her this stuff that
- 48:44Speaker 2: she did with the alcoholism, Like, I am a trained
- 48:48Speaker 2: licensed therapist. I would not feel comfortable walking up to
- 48:51Speaker 2: someone and saying, you're an alcoholic, right, you need rehab,
- 48:55Speaker 2: you need this, you need that. That was I mean,
- 48:58Speaker 2: I'm I'm amazed that nobody else was a little bit
- 49:01Speaker 2: like what is are you insane? That's hard.
- 49:04Speaker 1: That's why they're mad at her.
- 49:05Speaker 2: But not everybody, Like all these people still do are
- 49:08Speaker 2: her friends and defend her constantly. I just think she
- 49:12Speaker 2: is Again, I don't know if she studied this and
- 49:16Speaker 2: decided along the way that she was like, Okay, this
- 49:18Speaker 2: is how I have to be, you know, this is
- 49:21Speaker 2: like this is this is what I need to do.
- 49:23Speaker 2: But she is also you know, it's so many of
- 49:27Speaker 2: them are so tone deaf. And I think that's the
- 49:30Speaker 2: other part of it too, that it's this is a
- 49:32Speaker 2: bit of what happened with vander Pump rules is is
- 49:35Speaker 2: that as these shows get in the zeigeist longer and longer,
- 49:38Speaker 2: the people on the show become more of these characters
- 49:41Speaker 2: and they start losing a bit of that. And I
- 49:44Speaker 2: feel like Janet what she did was that she she
- 49:47Speaker 2: kind of went there, but she never allowed anyone to
- 49:49Speaker 2: get to know her, like we don't even I don't
- 49:51Speaker 2: know Janet at all, But all Janet's been doing is
- 49:54Speaker 2: other people, and it's hard to I find that just
- 49:58Speaker 2: not as bad as jack'son a as bad as Jesse,
- 50:00Speaker 2: but just as toxic, like it's really it's not okay.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Janet has been with them since the beginning of Vander Properule.
- 50:07Speaker 1: She's been friends with them forever. I can remember after Scandabal,
- 50:11Speaker 1: Janet was on Kristen's podcast a lot. They're very very
- 50:14Speaker 1: close friends. And I think she's great for the show
- 50:18Speaker 1: because she's messy like Jackson. Now that we're not going
- 50:20Speaker 1: to have Jackson anymore, maybe we need it, but probably
- 50:22Speaker 1: she won't be the one to be doing it next
- 50:24Speaker 1: season because she's going to have to have a redemption arc. Yes,
- 50:27Speaker 1: what's interesting about the Valley this first reunion was we
- 50:30Speaker 1: start off with Kristen apologizing to Janet and saying I
- 50:34Speaker 1: shouldn't have said I'd beat your ass, like, I don't
- 50:36Speaker 1: know why why I would say that's stupid, and I
- 50:38Speaker 1: shouldn't call you a whore because obviously you're not. Now,
- 50:40Speaker 1: I think if it's so too, we're gonna get probably
- 50:43Speaker 1: into that. I think Janet's like, somebody's gonna make something happen,
- 50:48Speaker 1: so it may as well be me. I did think
- 50:50Speaker 1: when we very first met Janet and Jason season one,
- 50:53Speaker 1: episode one, when we first met them, Jason said, since Janet,
- 50:57Speaker 1: you know, got pregnant, she quit her full time job,
- 50:59Speaker 1: but she came up with a full time hobby, which
- 51:01Speaker 1: is gossip, and so I thought that was hilarious, and
- 51:07Speaker 1: that's how and that's how we met her. Okay, so
- 51:09Speaker 1: she likes the gossip and she's messy. So I think
- 51:14Speaker 1: probably she's gonna you can't be a villain two season only.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Jack'sonna be a villain in all twenty seasons. You can't
- 51:19Speaker 1: be a villain two seasons in a row. I think
- 51:21Speaker 1: we'll see some sort of redemption arc with her. I
- 51:25Speaker 1: think she was just like, I don't know why all
- 51:29Speaker 1: of them got so triggered by Danny. I'm gonna tell
- 51:32Speaker 1: you something right now, as somebody who lives with a
- 51:34Speaker 1: recovering alcoholic. If I was standing in a pantry and
- 51:37Speaker 1: somebody I knew came in and sneakily took a shot
- 51:40Speaker 1: out of a bottle, that would trigger me hardcore because
- 51:44Speaker 1: of what I've been through. So I can see where
- 51:47Speaker 1: Janna would be, like, if you're sneaking in a pantry
- 51:50Speaker 1: and down it's a problem. However, the way she's handling
- 51:55Speaker 1: it and judging it, you do. Let me tell you
- 51:58Speaker 1: what's not gonna make somebody not be alcohol I guess
- 52:00Speaker 1: to call him on it, yea, because it's that's never
- 52:03Speaker 1: gonna help. So the way she handled it was ridiculous.
- 52:06Speaker 1: But again they're on a show and she's trying to
- 52:08Speaker 1: make something happen. Storyline to the detrimentate Danny, which will
- 52:12Speaker 1: be if you watch the finale and you saw jack
- 52:16Speaker 1: Jackson and I was telling Keisha, who had never watched
- 52:18Speaker 1: vander Pumpoule's my co host, I said, what you need
- 52:21Speaker 1: to know about Jackson is this is typical Jackson. He's
- 52:24Speaker 1: so focused on this one thing, and on that episode
- 52:28Speaker 1: it was Danny. How come Danny gets away with it?
- 52:31Speaker 1: How come people aren't talking about Danny. He just can't couldn't,
- 52:35Speaker 1: couldn't grasp anybody wasn't on top of Danny like they wrong. Well,
- 52:39Speaker 1: we've got twenty years of watching Jacks be horrible. We've
- 52:41Speaker 1: only known Danny just a little bit. If Danny continues
- 52:45Speaker 1: to do this four under four next season, then yeah,
- 52:48Speaker 1: he'll he'll he'll get the wrath of the viewers. Right.
- 52:53Speaker 1: But I don't. I don't think the way Janet at
- 52:55Speaker 1: all handled it was correct. She could have sat down
- 52:59Speaker 1: one on one with Nia and like, hey, you want
- 53:01Speaker 1: to tell you this is just my observation. Do you
- 53:04Speaker 1: think there's some problematic behavior? And if she says, Danielle
- 53:08Speaker 1: and I have discussed it in our Christian therapy and
- 53:10Speaker 1: we're fine, then then that's it. Then you never Then
- 53:13Speaker 1: you never talked about it again. That's under your business,
- 53:15Speaker 1: is it?
- 53:16Speaker 2: No? And I think it's it's the it's the bringing
- 53:18Speaker 2: it up and the brow beating and the and back
- 53:21Speaker 2: and back and back and back, and that's the part.
- 53:23Speaker 2: So okay, Well, hopefully maybe Janet could get a job
- 53:26Speaker 2: and and add some things to her life. And I
- 53:30Speaker 2: mean usually becoming a parent kind of gives you a
- 53:32Speaker 2: certain amount of awareness, but that that doesn't work.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Too much for no.
- 53:40Speaker 2: No, But yeah, anyway, sorry, I had to talk about
- 53:42Speaker 2: Jenny because Broke doesn't watch the show the way I do.
- 53:44Speaker 2: So I'm like wandering around like trying to talk to
- 53:47Speaker 2: someone about the show.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Text me any time. I like everything to talk about.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Now Miami, we've got Julia and Gertie. I don't speaking
- 53:58Speaker 1: of like legal things that you get the Kenya Moore
- 54:01Speaker 1: from Atlanta, and now we've got this not quite as
- 54:05Speaker 1: bad because it's not showing private parts, but we've got
- 54:08Speaker 1: Gertie taking a cancer event. Now, when somebody told me
- 54:12Speaker 1: that they'd watched, they'd seen it before I saw it,
- 54:14Speaker 1: and they go, oh, it was this cancer event. I go, oh,
- 54:16Speaker 1: so it was just like her and her four friends
- 54:18Speaker 1: and she did. They're like, no, it was like one
- 54:19Speaker 1: hundred people there. It was an event for fundraising for
- 54:22Speaker 1: cancer research. And then she's like, hold up, please record scratch.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Let me put up these text messages from Julia, who
- 54:29Speaker 1: nobody here knows, and nobody knows what this means. Make
- 54:32Speaker 1: it make sense. I didn't get it at all.
- 54:36Speaker 2: I've heard, you know, I'm not I watched Miami. In
- 54:38Speaker 2: the beginning. I haven't been watching it this season, but
- 54:40Speaker 2: I know all of these storylines that are happening, and
- 54:43Speaker 2: I've heard about this, and so tell me what was
- 54:46Speaker 2: the issue with Julia and Gerty before? Because Gertie had
- 54:49Speaker 2: breast cancer right and is now recovered, so okay, okay,
- 54:53Speaker 2: and so what happened with her and Julia though?
- 54:54Speaker 1: Okay, so they've always been close. So what happened is
- 54:57Speaker 1: Julia and Martina adopted these two little boys, like a
- 55:01Speaker 1: little boy. They're like three and one. Okay, So she
- 55:05Speaker 1: because it was probably going through the system or whatever,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and it was the legal thing. You know, they didn't
- 55:08Speaker 1: show them the first half of the season. They're showing
- 55:10Speaker 1: them now. And she had a zoom call with all
- 55:15Speaker 1: the housewives, and she wanted to tell them on the
- 55:17Speaker 1: zoom call this has happened because it's going to like
- 55:19Speaker 1: hit the press, and I wanted all of you to
- 55:21Speaker 1: know because it'll be probably a storyline. Whatever was the reason.
- 55:24Speaker 1: So they all get on the zoom and I guess
- 55:26Speaker 1: Julia's late to her own zoom and Gertie had a
- 55:29Speaker 1: business call, so Gerdie hopped off, and I guess people
- 55:33Speaker 1: are going to correct me, this is not completely right.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But I guess she texted Julia and go, so sorry,
- 55:38Speaker 1: I had to jump off. I had a call what's
- 55:40Speaker 1: the announcement? Because she didn't know. Are you going to
- 55:43Speaker 1: tell me that you got twelve more chickens on your farm?
- 55:47Speaker 1: Is Martine coming out of retirement? What's the announcement? She
- 55:50Speaker 1: did not know. It's to say we have two new children,
- 55:52Speaker 1: which is huge, and so Julia just said to her, well,
- 55:57Speaker 1: you'll just find out when it hits the press, like,
- 55:59Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you, but she got off
- 56:00Speaker 1: the call. That's where it started. Now now we find
- 56:05Speaker 1: out a little bit. The backstory is that Gerty had
- 56:09Speaker 1: just got up. So I guess they did like a
- 56:10Speaker 1: Housewives cruise, right, so you could go on this cruise
- 56:13Speaker 1: and Housewives are there and it's like four days or whatever.
- 56:16Speaker 1: And Gerty had just gotten off of one of those
- 56:19Speaker 1: cruises and Julia and Martina were supposed to get on
- 56:22Speaker 1: the next one, but Martina couldn't go because she was
- 56:24Speaker 1: having some sort of return over cancer and had to
- 56:26Speaker 1: go get tested. But Julia was committed to go. Gertie
- 56:29Speaker 1: was like, I'll just get right back on the cruise
- 56:31Speaker 1: and go with you because I hate that Martina was
- 56:33Speaker 1: supposed to be also a headliner there, and so Gerty
- 56:37Speaker 1: was like, I obviously have a job in a life
- 56:39Speaker 1: and I don't really want to, but I don't want
- 56:41Speaker 1: you to be alone, so I'll go with you. So
- 56:43Speaker 1: she went back on the cruise. So there's some back
- 56:45Speaker 1: and forth of whether Gerdy wanted to do it or
- 56:47Speaker 1: was doing it to be a good friend, and Julia's like, no,
- 56:49Speaker 1: you did it, okay, So there's some back and forth
- 56:51Speaker 1: about that. Then, unrelated I believe, to the cruise, Gerty
- 56:57Speaker 1: then asked Julia to an event, a big, a black
- 57:01Speaker 1: tie event, and then sat her like at the wrong
- 57:03Speaker 1: table with people she didn't know.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Okay, boy, that's always a big thing, sitting and tables
- 57:10Speaker 2: and of these charity events.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Okay, okay, But the main thing was Gerdy jumped off
- 57:14Speaker 1: the zoom call before she was able to make her
- 57:15Speaker 1: announcement about having these children, and Julia was extremely hurt
- 57:19Speaker 1: by that. That's where it started. So what Gerty did
- 57:24Speaker 1: at this a cancer event where there's one hundred people there,
- 57:26Speaker 1: like ten other survivors that she's met through retreatment that
- 57:30Speaker 1: are all part of this foundation what she did was
- 57:33Speaker 1: before the band started, but she was like, I'm about
- 57:35Speaker 1: to introduce to the this world famous blah blah blah,
- 57:37Speaker 1: but first, uh put the slides up. She had decided
- 57:41Speaker 1: it like six minutes before they showed the timeline of
- 57:45Speaker 1: Julia went up and was talking to Gertie's husband and
- 57:48Speaker 1: was like, yeah, it's too bad this happened, and like,
- 57:49Speaker 1: I hope we can get back to a better place
- 57:51Speaker 1: and I'm really sad about what happened. And that just
- 57:54Speaker 1: set Gertie off. It was like she was talking to
- 57:56Speaker 1: my husband like she did nothing wrong. Got the event
- 57:59Speaker 1: coordinator in their sent her a bunch of screenshots off
- 58:01Speaker 1: her phone and decided to show. It's just like pages
- 58:05Speaker 1: and pages and Larsa, you know, not the smartest bulb goes.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I don't know. After like the first page, I was like,
- 58:12Speaker 1: this is too much to read. I don't even know
- 58:14Speaker 1: what it says. Somebody just tell me. And everybody was
- 58:19Speaker 1: people were so they were also horrified. They're all going,
- 58:22Speaker 1: this is not okay, and mirasol, this is at greg
- 58:25Speaker 1: and they and they left. They all left the event.
- 58:29Speaker 1: They were like, this is gross what you just did.
- 58:31Speaker 1: None of it was bad. It was just more talking
- 58:34Speaker 1: about the cruise or talking about why did you sit
- 58:36Speaker 1: me at the wrong place at dinner? None of it
- 58:38Speaker 1: was bad, but Gertie was trying to make a point
- 58:40Speaker 1: that Julia did X Y Z and nobody was on
- 58:45Speaker 1: Gerdi's side. Well, nobody's on Gertie side now because she
- 58:47Speaker 1: did this.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Yeah, when this comes.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Out, I believe money comes out on Wednesday nights, which
- 58:52Speaker 1: is tonight, so apologies it maybe it comes out Thursday
- 58:55Speaker 1: if we're late on the news, but that's the event.
- 58:58Speaker 1: So legally, I guess it's not against the law unless
- 59:02Speaker 1: it is in Florida, Like, but who everything goes in Florida,
- 59:05Speaker 1: so who knows?
- 59:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I mean their text messages, she did
- 59:10Speaker 3: say that stuff, But I mean I don't think you
- 59:15Speaker 3: have an expectation of privacy necessarily when you send a
- 59:18Speaker 3: text that's just diabolical, like.
- 59:22Speaker 1: And it makes no sense. It's the same with Kenya
- 59:24Speaker 1: at her own event doing that thing to sabotage.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Events, ruining it and also like it's just so it's
- 59:32Speaker 3: over the top cruel, mean, you know, just meant to
- 59:36Speaker 3: humiliate somebody and for what for your delicate ego, like.
- 59:44Speaker 2: And I think that's part of the problem with these
- 59:46Speaker 2: reality shows is that it's not but it's not. It's
- 59:49Speaker 2: not reality as we all know, right, but it's not
- 59:53Speaker 2: it's not how people should communicate, it's not how relationships
- 59:57Speaker 2: should be. I was chatting with a client yesterday about,
- 59:59Speaker 2: you know, she's struggling with a friend who she feels
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: like is not prioritizing her. And you know, my client
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: doesn't have kids, not married in the friend is married
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: with kids, and you know, all of that kind of stuff.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: And we were talking through like how does she want
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: to handle it, what does she want to do? And
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: the thing is is that we finally kind of decided
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: that she's going to give it some time, you know
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: what I mean, Like, she's just gonna let it lie
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: and see how she feels and see if there's a
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: time to bring it up. That's the problem with these
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: shows is that they are such pressure. And again, I
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: that's what I wonder how much the producers are in
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: their ears, Oh totally talking, talking, talking, So yeah, that's
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: a great idea.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great idea.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Yes, sense of reality of how to be. So that's
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: the problem is you're trying to make these people be friends,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: but there's no foundation of friend in any of this,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: So then how do you how do you be friends?
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: And I think this is what we're seeing a lot
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: of on Orange County.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: But yeah, this is the this is the whole shift
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: of the Housewise franchises. It used to be people who
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: were actually in the same kind of friend group, circles
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: and in each other.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: That's how they found them.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Yes, right, they would recommend, oh, my friend so and so,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: and then we would just kind of watch them live
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: their lives. And you know which, if you like reality TV,
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: you like that type of thing. You like you're curious.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: You're a curious person who who enjoys that. So it
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: went along for years like that, and then at some
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: point it changed to, well, we're just going to get
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: these random people, and if we can get someone who's
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: a big name, you know, like Martina and Narratilova's wife,
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: you know whatever, you know, then they try to get
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: big names and they bring these people together who don't
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: know each other. They're no longer we're no longer watching
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: them live their lives. We're watching them self produce and
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: show us what they want to promote, and you know,
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: and then there's there's this pressure, like you said, to
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: have drama to get attention.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: And you can imagine Gurny went backstage it is telling
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the production is filming her, and she's telling her assistant, Hey,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I just sent you a bunch of stuff. We're gonna
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: put it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: And so the production is there and they don't go,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: oh god, that's a bad idea. We just had those
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Like, it's not going to go well for you.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: But she did it anyway.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Yeah, the production seems to be egging it on, and
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: you know, they like, clearly they like this formula. But
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I don't know because are the ratings. I've always heard
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: that the ratings for most all of these shows are
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: really down.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's right. Even at the beginning of
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: the season, the Valley ratings were down, which I couldn't believe.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: But I think it's because it's so dark and the
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: people are just like, well, this is what we're doing.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: We as well, just of course I the darker the
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: better for me.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: But yeah, for o C.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I know you guys are big OC fans. Thoughts on
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the return of Gretchen. What did Terror say that? What
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: did Terror say this make about Gretchen. She said, I
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: looked over there, and she didn't say a bratstall. She
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: said she looked.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Like like AI or something.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Well, she does look like AI, but she said something
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: like I looked over there and she looked like a brass.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: She didn't say brastles. She said something else. And I
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: just watched it again last night and I was like,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: oh God, that's funny, Like, hey, love her, hate Tamra.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: She's such good TV. And I have heard a rumor
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: that Gretchen at the end of this season just Maga
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: spirals out hardcore. Oh wow, and then that's going to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: be like a storyline.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well Gretchen. Yeah. The first season, I was like,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: what is up? Not even Gretchen, all of their faces,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Like what is happening? Like? Who Emily doesn't look like herself? No,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: keeps evolving. It's she means weird too. Yeah, it's just.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Like what is Jim? Jim looks like what she has
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: looked like since we've known her. But when you show
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: what she looked like before, you're like, what, Wow, see
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I covered so much. I cover so much TLC that
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: we don't get that much. We're like, well, exactly the same,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: which wasn't great to start with, but but some of
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: them do do like full mommy makeovers and stuff, and
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: they're not doing it with their sweet sweet TLC money.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I can tell you that much. They just probably saw
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: themselves on TV and were like, what the heck? But
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: these ladies come in looking pretty good and then the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: second season you're like, whoa new face? Who this? Yeah,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Gretchen is so blurred. I don't even know how she
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: looks than in real life she's blurred.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Yes, it's unbelievable. And I think part of it is
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: that Orange County, right, if you're down there and you
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: start walking around Orange County, you know that's what you see.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: So people like lose their minds about what a person's
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: face should actually look like. But this year was frightening.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I mean really for everybody.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: What do you guys think about Emily sharing about her
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: son's issue and you know, his eating issue that he has.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: He's a young kid, he's eeing issue that he has,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: and then saying it, well, this may be related to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: him being in the autism spectrum and all this, I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: will tell you. My opinion is is we didn't need it.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: He's only ten years old and I I personally don't
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: like like it.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: And the way the way she talks about it too,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: she's just she just is so filled with anxiety and
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: she's you know, crying and what I mean. I understand
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: she's concerned about her son, but she's this isn't Emily's
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: a strong woman, you know, and she's like really not
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: dealing with this well, like she's just kind of spiraling.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: And I understand it's concerning, but it's all I almost feel.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: Like she's acting.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Jane's very calm about everything. He's taking this attitude of well,
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: let's just wait.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: Well, let's wait, yeah, let's find out what's wrong before
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: you jump to like the worst conclusions, you know.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: But you remember he does have two three three three
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: kids before he even met her, so he's like, I've
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: already done this. Every kid's gonna have some What did
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you guys think about Katie recording Shannon have a meltdown
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: then lying and saying I only showed it to my husband,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: But turns out she did show it to Alexis the
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: arch enemy and Jen Jen's like, I don't even I
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: don't think so, I don't think I did. And but
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: of course she did, and gen's just from nat like
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: she didn't see it because she's like, I don't want
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: to know. I didn't see anything with you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Sorry, I'll be honest with you. I like I like
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: Katie even though she's lying and she just lies a lot.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: She lies, But I like.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Her more than I like I like her and Jen
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: so much more than I like Emily and Shannon and
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: any of these other people. I mean, at least, you know,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: at least there's some I get it. She's the sense
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: that I get with Katie is this is that she
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: came in, you know, you don't quite know what to expect.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: She she should not have started off with that, you know,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: that rumor about Heather de burrowh calling the paparazzi. I
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: think she got bad advice from Gina. I think Gina
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: did tell her to do that, and I think that
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: a producer told her to and she got bad advice.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I think, by the way, oh yeah, I mean here
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: was lingering around Disneyland, right so the then and then
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: I think what and I feel like she has the
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: right to feel this way, which is what Emily did
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: at that reunion last year, was not okay. She brought
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: up this case of what was you know that Katie
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: gave up custody every three kids, and to bring that,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: I mean that means you might look that up. You
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: brought that in and Katie was pissed, and I think,
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: but I don't think Katie is very good about being direct.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: You have to be directed, yes, you have to. If
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: you're not, you're going to get yourself in trouble. So
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: she's not direct, so she sort of tells enough to
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: get the person to go away, instead of being like, yeah,
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: I did that.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: It's really back It really backfired on Emily. It really
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: did because people were kind of like, God, this Katie,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: she just kind of comes in and makes shit up
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: and she lies and whatever, and maybe people didn't like
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: her so much. But then when Emily came in with
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: this stuff, now you feel bad for Katie because you're like,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: why are you doing that? And this is sort of
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: it's Unfortunately for me, I'm starting to feel that way
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: about Jack's because it's like, God, now he's lost his wife,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: he's lost his job again, and now he's lost his business.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: And at some point, how much piling on can you do?
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: It's sort of like the Tom Sanderval at some point
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: how much piling on can you do? And so I
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: think Katie was sort of on that trajectory of people
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: kind of don't really like her. But then Emily brought
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: this on and people were like, well, now we feel
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: bad for Katie. So it had the opposite effect of
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: what you thought, because Emily is Katie's no mental match
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: for Emily. Emily is obviously a very smart lawyer, and
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: she's bringing these facts and Katie's like, well, that's not
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: exactly how it happened. And also I was homeless, so
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I had to give up custody my cheld. It sounded
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to me like she could have been in a battered
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: woman shelter. Yeah, and bringing that up and then having
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: her be like it was the worst time in my
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: entire life. And so no, I'm not proud of it.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I mean terrible.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: Katie's not built for this. And yeah, she has a
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: very interesting backstory.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Can we hear about that?
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: Like what you know what I mean?
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: It's obviously the little we know.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: She has a story and she's been through a lot
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: and that would be interesting to learn about. But instead, yeah,
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: we're getting caught up in these petty things, and she's
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: not going to last if she can't fight back.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: We got a little bit this last week about her
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: talking about the one son is still there with the
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: excess and then the other one decided to come and
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: she was like, you know, I just think as a mom,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I want my kids to always know I let them
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: make the choice where they wanted to live. Then, so
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I think we're gonna get a little bit more of it.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: But that whole thing of her recording Shannon having the
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: meltdown and I didn't like California is a two point.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: You can't do that, I mean, and then she and
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: then she showed it to people, which is illegal. It's
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: not good. Yeah good.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: I mean, you can understand why she would want to.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: And and I think that in her mind right she's
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: she's watching Shannon freak out, and I think she's just like,
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: oh God, I'm want to film this and show this
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: to my husband right right. And I think what happened
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: was that then I think she's like, oh, I'm with Alexis,
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: now let me tell her this, and they let me
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: tell her that, Like she's not she's not thinking these
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: things through and in a different situation, in different context,
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: this wouldn't be such a big deal, but now it
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: is because it's all coming out and it's all on TV.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: I'm still a little confused about this whole thing with
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: the blogs and Tarmera and Tarra's mad at Katie because Katie,
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: it's it's you can't. The bloggers are going to write
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: what they write podcasters like you can't. They're all mad
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: at each other because you went on this show and
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: you said this and then blah blah. It's that stuff.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: They've got to leave alone. That's exhausting. I can't that.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: No one can keep you stuff. No.
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: The first three episodes of this season have just been
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: nothing but fighting about these random things and them yelling
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: at each other.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: And if I have to hear the word blogger one
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: more time, Yeah, what's a blogger? Do you mean a podcaster?
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Do you mean a content creator? What's is anybody sitting
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: down and writing ye old blog? Yeah, like blog and
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: talking about It's like it's like one time, you guys,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: this was This is such a callback to original New
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: York City leu Anne when Leu Anne had some one
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: woman show or something that she did and she was like, oh,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I got to go tomorrow. I gotta get the dailies, Darling.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: And you are like, she's going down to Yale newsstand
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: to pick up the dailies to see what they said
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: about her one one appearance on Broadway for five minutes
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: or whatever. But she was like, oh, I've got her
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: run down. I got a look at the dailies. And
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: so we say that all the time. It's such like
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: an old person thing to say. And so is blogger. Yeah,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: so is blogger. And I don't know. I did hear
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: them mention Kiky Monique, who I know who I'm really with,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: and they said Kiki same and I was like, oh, girl, geeky,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: you're listener a text and be like, oh, what do
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you think She'd probably be like, oh my God, tell
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: these women to leave my name out of their mouth.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: But listen, I know a podcaster who tamor reaches out
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: to and tells things to that man where I got
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: that Maga information about Gretchen.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so they all do it. And it was at
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: the end of The Valley Reunion Part one. Somebody said
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: something about things being leaked and Jack Jackson goes, what,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I don't link anything, and they said, sometimes you do
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: and he goes, I do everything on camera. This is
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: why our show is so good. So he's also been
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: trained not to say my show. And he goes, this
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: is why our show is so good because we do
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: everything on camera. And he looked over it Janet and Jason,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: and he goes, you guys are the ones who live
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: in the reddit threads and leak stuff all the time. Oh,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: so they all do it. Tammer does it, Katie does it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Normally does it they? I think Gina doesn't do it
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: because I just think she's too busy. Gina. I love.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I love Gina.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Gina. I go back and forth on Sometimes I really
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: like her and sometimes I'm like, uh, Gina, you know
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I love. I hadn't heard this before, but I love
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Amy Phillips's Gina impression. If you've ever, I was cracking
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: up like Rye because she does it so so well.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: And there is that Gina kind of you know, that
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: New York accent and some of the things that she's
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: talking about. And but god, the hurt she cannot you know,
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: she's looking better, but the fashions, oh, she's never been
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: quite she's never quite gotten it.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: No, and there's so many of them, and we love
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: that about them. We love that about them. I mean
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: even like lu Anne, who's got the best body probably
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: on the planet. The things that she's been posting lately,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: I'm like, what are you doing? What are you speaking
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: of that? Did you guys watch Love Hotel?
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: You did, Brooke right?
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: I think I watched maybe like an episode of it thinking.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: About covering it, but I think it didn't grab you.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: But I feel like I'm seeing it now with all
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: these guys that Shannon is, all the guys she's.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Bringing around, Oh yeah, yeah, Yes, it's hilarious because it's
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: like some of these guys she sort of dated on
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: the show. The only guy she dated on the show
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: really was this guy Earl that lived in Michigan or
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: something or Florida, I don't remember. He had a couple
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: of houses. And then this guy that she brought to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: the other event, whose name is a He's an African
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: American guy. He lives in bel Air and he had
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: been a model. His name's going to come to me
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: in a minute. Very good looking.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: You remember him? Yeah, he came to that last party.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, And they were talking at dinner one night
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: on Love Hotel, and he was talking about where he lived,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: like he was saying the street, like where he lived
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: in bel Air. He's like, oh, I know exactly where
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: that is. And then Earl got all Mag's like, I
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: can't get in the conversation because I don't even know
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: what you're talking about. I'm not from bell Air. And
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: he's like, and I don't eat vegetables And she's like what.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: He's like, why you don't need vegetables. He's like, so
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: he's like, drop this guy. He's not gonna live long.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: He doesn't need vegetable. To look at him that she.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Likes, Yeah, are you a Shannon fan? Do you like Shannon? Uh?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: No? I mean I like Shannon because she's wacky. But
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: I heard somebody say on a podcast like how many
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: times can we hear Shannon say? Are you kidding me?
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Like I I think she'll go
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: the way of Vicky. I think they'll fase her out
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: at some point and maybe phase her back in. But
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't be sad if we had a break room Shannon.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: I really wouldn't. I don't dislike I think that she's
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: extremely hard to work with.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: I think, yes, apparently something else came out. I mean,
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: I think that's the other thing too, is I think
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: that that rant that she did that Katie filmed. I
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: think all those women have seen this fifteen times. I
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: think that's why it didn't bother any of them. I
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: think they were like, oh, yeah, there's Shannon.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: I think I think Emily's I think Emily said that
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I'll watch what happens live.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: So I think that she. Yes, I think she's absolutely
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: the worst to work with. But I mean they played
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: that old scene of like it's not my fucking plate,
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: you know, I mean, I play you know she is.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: She's so good at that. But just this last episode
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: when she went to Katie like what done? You know
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: she does done?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I would never speak to you again. I will never
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: like it.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Okay, how is that going to work?
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: But but that I was like, oh, Shannon, you know
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: there is some piece of this that I do think
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: much like any other you know, like musicians or actress,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: you have to grow in some way, shape or form.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: You have to evolve as a person. And I think
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: that the best sort of reality stars are people that
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: you know, allow people to see them evolve and grow
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: and and do things differently and and accept that. And
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: and that's the thing about Shannon. It's like she just
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: she has no idea. She's just someone who has no
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: idea like how she is in the world. She has
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: low awareness. And I think Shannon's always been about Shannon.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: So I don't think Shenon thinks about other people. I
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: really don't think she does. I think she thinks about herself.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that. I think she's I think she's
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: an involved mom. I think she's interested in what her
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: kids are doing. But beyond that, now, I don't know.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I don't so interesting. I did buy her her vitamins tincture.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Oh how is it?
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: It was like a for real, for real tincture.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: Out of business.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't. It didn't cure me of anything after
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: one bottle, though, I get listen, I'll always try a product.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I'm like, sure, listen. I take Vina CBD every night,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: shout out Tamara Judge.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well you've got you've got some of.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: That, right, Yeah, I got it. I had those gummies.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: I don't do well with them.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I no, I take the melotone in CBD. I don't
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: take the THHC one. No, no, no, Yeah, I had.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: I mistakenly bought like it was a low dose like THHC,
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: and I just took one or maybe half a one,
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: and the next day I was just like, no, I can't.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and I take the melotone in CBD gummy. And
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: then lately I've been taking magnesium because somebody said that's
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: good for you rain or whatever.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: It is very good, and it's a natural relaxing too. Yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: it's good to take a night.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: So I said that to my daughter. I was like, God,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: it's just I'm sorry. I was supposed to get up
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: at nine fifteen, like a couple of days ago. I
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: was like in my bed and she came in there.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I was like, what I'm supposed to be happened? I'm
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: like paniced, you know, because it was like nine thirty.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: And I told her later, I go, I'm sorry about that.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I was supposed to be.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I have my alarm set for eight forty five. I
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: really I'm telling her this. And I told her that
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I was taking the magnesium and she goes, well, that
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: really makes you tired. I go yeah, And I said,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: when I already take the melatonia, And she goes, Oh
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: my god, you like roofied yourself. I was like, oh,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: maybe I shouldn't take melatonia CVD and magnesia. Maybe that's
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: why I can't get up.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm surprised that Tamor isn't promoting that more on
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: the show because it's a it's a successful business and
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: then she has yeah, because there's because that's one of
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: the you know, main purposes for these house I have
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: shows us to promote businesses, and and that sort of
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: seems like it's uh going away a little bit.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Well they're probably just like you're allowed to
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: mention it once per season, and you know if they
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: if they start a product while they're on the show,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: then Bravo bits ten percent yeah of sales.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: Well, I wonder if they're showing things now that are
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: things that are like just more entertaining, because it sounds
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: like Tama's business works very well and things are running well.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: What's interesting about that?
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: You know, it's not shutting down.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: So yeah, and I think that they know that people
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: love the I've got a candle line, I've got you know,
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: you know, essential herbs and oils and that thing. I
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: think they know that that we all kind of get
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: that and get what it's entertaining to watch it.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: Three work versus five wik Yes, well, I remember Heather's
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: I think this was just last season Heather's wardrobe capsule, right.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: Yeah, collection, that's right, I was it was. I think
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: it was.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: It probably didn't do well because it was just made
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: for people who are built like a pencil stick.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be rough. I will tell you the
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: funniest thing. We'll wrap it up, but I will tell you, guys,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: this funny thing other day, just on my algorithm, popped
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: up on Instagram. I don't. I try very hard not
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to go on TikTok as I go into a hole
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: and I can't.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: I don't even don't don't.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: It's a problem. So I was just trying to stick
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: with Instagram. I found that easier to put down. And
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: at Terry de bro Ad popped up and it's him
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: and he's got a jar like this big this just
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: take a jar of this big of some kind of
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: a cream and he's walking and as we get older,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you know what happens. Our skin It gets creepy and
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: he's like showing his like creepy jiggly skin and he's
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: like so what we need is d and we have
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: found is this specific ion peptide Da da da da
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: for your skin. It does in the skin. You don't
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: want to be my wife. Heather loves it. So you
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: should get this champagne uh, champagne blah blah blah with
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the pep tae blah blah blah blah blah. And he's
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: talking about it right the product, and then he goes
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: and so the how you're gonna do it is you're
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: gonna and it's like he was going to say, go
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to Champagne cream dot com. That's that's the easiest way
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to do it. Go over there and tell him, I
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: said you Cote is Terry like that. He's walking through
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: his living room talking like, let me tell you he's
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: in a scrub on Terry to borrow. And when he
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: gets to the and the best way to get it
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: is and he says it twice. A dub over came
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: over that sounded like a reverse like Korean movie dubover.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: It was a person in an accent going Champagne cream
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: dot Com over him, saying like, sh't a I don't
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: know what kind of robot voice. Scary it was, but
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: it's him doing the whole ad, and I don't know
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: if the original website that he said closed down or
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: he screwed it up. And he goes, I'm not doing
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: it twice because it is a complete other person, possibly
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: another accent, saying Champagne cream dot com screaming you guys.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I died. I was like, well, I mean I was,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I was all in. I was like, oh, yeah, I'm
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: not crapy skin, I've got it. Yeah, Oh what's it?
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Gonna sell it to me?
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Terry?
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: And I'm like, he looks pretty good, and I'm like
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: watching the whole thing, and then it's like Champagne creep
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: dot com.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: I was like, what, I always question if those ads
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: like with Terry, I've seen a lot.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: He has a lot of it, a lot of stuff.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: They have all this money, they seem to be constant.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Maybe that's how Yeah.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: Well, like and doctor Drew is always on all these
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: commercials I see, and I wonder, is this really Doctor Drew.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: I feel like the ad itself is an AI ad
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: where they're using people. I don't know.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I I this was Terry that he was in that
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: penthouse that we see them doing those stupid dances in
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: all the Times and it is him walking around with
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: the Terry and Heather du bro cream and he's just
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: throwing in the air and he's all happy about it,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: and I was like, look at him, he's ten years old.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: The Men that Robots voice came on and I was like, no, yeah.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Well, and also they don't even live in Orange County.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: I mean no, they they have oh they have an
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: apartment at the Balboa Bay Club or something.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: So he was just going to be washed away about
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: the tsunami. Oh wow, I looked at the map. It
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: looks scary.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: Yeah, well the tsunami warnings, I think we're a little premature.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: But yeah, that's also annoying too that they don't even
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: live in the county.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: So anywayeah, well, do you ever notice that Terry always
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: has to make sure that the audience knows how much
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: they're spending on these parties. So he's like, how much
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: is this party in relationship to the Nobu Party? You know?
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, She's like, well the Noble Party was thirteen thousand, thousand, thirty.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: Do you think it's because he's like, let's make sure
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: to say it out loud because it's a write off
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: for your job.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: It could be that, and or I really feel like
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: he wants us all to know that throwing a six
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: figure party is just a regular Tuesday night for them.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: I think he wants us to know how wealthy. They
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: always wanted us to know how wealthy they are.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: We know, we got it. We see we see it,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: we've heard it, we've seen the home, we've seen the thing.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: We got it, we got it. Yeah, you guys, tell
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: everybody where they can find you on social media and

- 1:25:34Speaker 2: we normally do Sister Wives or a big Sister Wives,
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: you know, that's what we and we didn't intend to
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: be Sister Wives recaptors, but it really was. We started
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: the show right after Christine left Cody, and so everyone's
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: very the show got good.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Yeah.

- 1:26:21Speaker 2: topics and then we talk about our own lives. I mean,
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: you know, we're sisters. We're dealing with our parents that
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: are aging, we have kids. It's a lot about being
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: a gen xer and dealing with just the insanity of
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: it all.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Gen X that's yeah, that's me nineteen sixty eight. You
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: can sixteen nine right in the middle of it. I
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: try to fight with Amy Archer a lot until her
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: she's not gen X and she doesn't like that. Yeah,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: she's bordered.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: She's seventy five, seventy six.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: She's borderline, and I always try to talk about like, yeah,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: she's like, I've built my whole career on it. Please stop.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: We love Amy, We're a mutual friend. Is Amy. Everybody
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: follow me over on the Instagram at pink Shape Pod.

- 1:27:06Speaker 1: the same stuff. It's Pink Shape Podcast. And again I
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: try not to go over there because if you send
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: me something over there, I might see it in a week.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Because I don't. It's not good for me. It's not
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: good for me because I get in and I kick
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: it out and then I'm way too invested in like
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: the twenty two year olds that are having a fight
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: and like, why do I care. Yeah, it's a problem.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: It's a real big problem. I was recently down and
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: out for a couple of weeks and I got very
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: involved in a lot of TikTok scandals that I have
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: no business caring about none. So find me over on
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: Instagram at Pink Shade Pod and I will talk to
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: you later.
