He's made himself the most important person in Sammy's champ to bring without holding the bell. 55 00:02:52,660 --> 00:02:58,660 WWE now has this easy path through a throwaway collision without pushing Sammy out of the title picture if they want to go on a minimal standpoint. 56 00:02:58,660 --> 00:03:04,660 Or they could push it out as even, I think we came down to like seven or eight if you wanted to even throw in Johnny Gargano in there. 57 00:03:04,660 --> 00:03:10,660 Bottom line in this all, Sammy has the championship but Punk's actions are driving the story at least for this week. 58 00:03:10,660 --> 00:03:16,660 So my question for you, Dr. Trey, is CM Punk becoming the antagonist in the CM Sami Zayn Championship reign? 59 00:03:16,660 --> 00:03:22,660 I don't know if he's the end, I don't know if there is a clear cut. 60 00:03:22,660 --> 00:03:27,660 I would say yes because he's the one who took the belt off Sammy in the beginning. 61 00:03:27,660 --> 00:03:32,660 He's the one that kind of jumped the line when we're supposed to have Sammy and Cody. 62 00:03:32,660 --> 00:03:41,660 So yeah, I think in a sense, Punk is the antagonist but it's retribution now instead of jumping the line. 63 00:03:41,660 --> 00:03:55,660 It's a really well done story because as a fan of all three guys, I see the good and bad parts of their characters in this storyline and it makes sense to like, okay, I can see why Punk is pissed. 64 00:03:55,660 --> 00:03:59,660 I can see why Owens is pissed and I can see why Sammy's upset. 65 00:03:59,660 --> 00:04:03,660 So it's a good storyline in the sense of its grounded in reality. 66 00:04:03,660 --> 00:04:08,660 You can actually really feel each person's point of view of their character. 67 00:04:08,660 --> 00:04:13,660 Yeah, it's exciting stuff. It's very clearly written. It's very clearly defined. 68 00:04:13,660 --> 00:04:22,660 There's the outside parts that are making things very exciting and I dig that they're putting a decent amount of title matches on SmackDown each week, Dr. Trey. 69 00:04:22,660 --> 00:04:29,660 I think some people may say it's overkill but I think it's very fitting for this feud thus far. 70 00:04:29,660 --> 00:04:38,660 And it also fits those guys. All three of those guys are people who have said all along the title should be around. It should be on TV. 71 00:04:38,660 --> 00:04:44,660 It shouldn't be held by part timers. It shouldn't be defended once every 90 days. 72 00:04:44,660 --> 00:04:47,660 This is something that all three of these guys have said throughout their career. 73 00:04:47,660 --> 00:05:04,660 So you kind of have to stand up for what you said before. Even to the point of back when K.O. and Sammy have both called CM Punk a hypocrite for taking time off after WrestleMania before he got the shot against Sammy. 74 00:05:04,660 --> 00:05:14,660 Like that was something they called him out for. So it makes sense character wise for all three of these guys to be in the ring, being the workhorses of their brand when you're in that top spot. 75 00:05:14,660 --> 00:05:17,660 So it makes a ton of sense for them. 76 00:05:17,660 --> 00:05:26,660 Dr. Trey, where does this storyline slash feud sit right now for you in everything that we're seeing in professional wrestling right now? 77 00:05:26,660 --> 00:05:29,660 As far as like ranking it as a fee, I got on. 78 00:05:29,660 --> 00:05:30,660 Yeah, rank it for me. 79 00:05:30,660 --> 00:05:32,660 For him work the question I get a little bit. 80 00:05:32,660 --> 00:05:40,660 Yeah, well, I didn't want to do like a power rankings. But if there's something that you're seeing in AEW that you like a hell of a lot more or even on NXT or on the Raw brand. 81 00:05:40,660 --> 00:05:54,660 That's really the comparison right now because for me, I think that this feud and the storyline of the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown has become the most intriguing and interesting thing in all of professional wrestling right now. 82 00:05:54,660 --> 00:06:09,660 Yeah, it is because it's being really well written. And it kind of goes against the grain. And it might be because we are biased because these are literally the three top wrestlers of the SRTU timeline. 83 00:06:09,660 --> 00:06:21,660 As far as our favorites. I mean, you can go to AEW, look at the tag team, you can go, man, you got Cajun Cope, FTR and the Young Bucks. And they're kind of doing a three way rivalry right now with those guys. 84 00:06:21,660 --> 00:06:32,660 You can look at the trios and they're going, okay, well, you got Swarve in the new level. You got Brodino in page and you got the demand. 85 00:06:32,660 --> 00:06:49,660 And that's a three way feud. I mean, there's elements on all the shows of these weird little three way rivalry's going on. But this one is the best well written based on the characters and what these guys have said throughout their careers and makes the most sense. 86 00:06:49,660 --> 00:07:01,660 You're just to clarify, you're not saying that like out of like a triple threat trios type feud, you're saying it's in all of wrestling right now. Correct? Yeah, like you're doing these three way feuds. 87 00:07:01,660 --> 00:07:12,660 Yeah, yeah, you know, in a bunch of different areas right now. But I will say the Osprey Moxley stuff is being really well done also. 88 00:07:12,660 --> 00:07:27,660 And then where does this whole LA solo 946 bloodline roll thing end up? That's interesting because that's kind of a three way battle. It's the kind of bloodline 946 and then LA and solo over here. 89 00:07:27,660 --> 00:07:35,660 Like it's kind of become the norm, but punk Owen Zane is the best written one so far out of all these. 90 00:07:35,660 --> 00:07:45,660 Yeah, we'll talk about 946 and Solisiko here in just a bit here in the next segment. But last question, I'll ask you here in regards to the Sunday speed of WWE championship few Dr. Trey. 91 00:07:45,660 --> 00:07:56,660 I think this is a very easy question, but I'll ask it anyway, is the best destination Sammy versus punk Sammy versus Owens or Sammy versus punk versus Owens or something else that I'm not listing? 92 00:07:56,660 --> 00:08:10,660 No, it's the triple threat. I mean, that's what we, that's why I said what a month a month ago. Yeah, like that's why I wanted this to culminate in a triple threat match because, you know, you and I have had some pretty big matches come up recently where we're like, we didn't think those would happen. 93 00:08:10,660 --> 00:08:20,660 Punk and Zane, punk and Owens, like these are things. But I mean for us, like if you were to say, hey, what would be the best triple threat match of the SRT U timeline? 94 00:08:20,660 --> 00:08:30,660 It'd probably be these three guys unless somehow you could throw stone cold in the mix. Yeah, exactly. If you somehow comes out of retirement to wrestle on this one. 95 00:08:30,660 --> 00:08:43,660 So lots of fun stuff going on in this Smackdown brand right now with the NSB to WWE championship. Feel free to share your thoughts over at patreon.com/sortupodcast in the comment section on how you feel about how this feud is going this far. 96 00:08:43,660 --> 00:08:54,660 Switching over to the red brand Monday night Raw, Dr. Trey, we had the 946 abducting solo, so Koeh and potentially setting up the next bloodline line reunion. It appears. 97 00:08:54,660 --> 00:09:01,660 So right now we've got Royce Keys, Bronco, Neeman, Lucien Price taking the war with the bloodline to another level on Raw by abducting solo, so Koeh. 98 00:09:01,660 --> 00:09:09,660 Before it happened, the Uso's and Jacob are too refused to help solo. Solo's disappearance forced them to replace them in the money that they qualify or were pent a step in and qualified. 99 00:09:09,660 --> 00:09:17,660 So in the WWE can you be taken, you could be kidnapped and instead of calling the cops, they'll just change your place in the match that you were supposed to be scheduled then. 100 00:09:17,660 --> 00:09:27,660 Solo's been here as building his own version of the bloodline now. He is the one isolated and asking for help. The 946 suddenly feels less like a side faction or more like a legitimate threat in WWE. 101 00:09:27,660 --> 00:09:39,660 And the obvious destination may be the threat becoming so big that solo, the Uso's and Jacob are too half to reunite. The 946 may be the threat WWE uses to force a fractured bloodline back together. 102 00:09:39,660 --> 00:09:47,660 Dr. Trey, I start with this question for you. Is WWE headed toward a solo secull reconciliation with the Uso's and Jacob are too? 103 00:09:47,660 --> 00:09:59,660 No, at least maybe temporarily. I still think, I don't know how you feel. I feel like solo was organically so getting over that this whole 946 thing is kind of derailed. 104 00:09:59,660 --> 00:10:10,660 And it may be the plan to derail a little bit of that baby face push he was getting. He was getting so over with the crowd, I think it was actually changing plan. 105 00:10:10,660 --> 00:10:24,660 Or there's more sympathy, or there's more sympathy form. Two degree, I mean it's only in wrestling can you actually get kidnapped and not only get replaced but you actually lose your spot. 106 00:10:24,660 --> 00:10:33,660 Like you're almost punished for getting kidnapped. There's no cops get called. We're not going to come back on a raw and solo's out there with the cops trying to rest 946. 107 00:10:33,660 --> 00:10:43,660 I always love the kidnapping spots. We stole them but we're not really going to do anything with them. The good ones are the brainwashing ones. I always love those ones. 108 00:10:43,660 --> 00:10:56,660 Yes, of course. But it's a weird thing because you got LA and Roma is still doing their thing but then if you put the bloodline back together it's 4-3. 109 00:10:56,660 --> 00:11:04,660 So 946 needs another even another number. They need a one or a three or 11 or something I guess. 110 00:11:04,660 --> 00:11:13,660 Well, Dr. Trey, I think we're going five on five. So I think the storyline goes where it's well hold on, let me preface this first. 111 00:11:13,660 --> 00:11:25,660 So I have to say the segment, the segment with solo talking to the Usos and Jacob backstage saying that we need to reunite like less than four weeks ago where solo was supposed to acknowledge the tribal chief. 112 00:11:25,660 --> 00:11:32,660 We're going to acknowledge the tribal chief, return in the bloodline and just turns on them is not the best creative booking. 113 00:11:32,660 --> 00:11:41,660 And that's where I agree with you that I think maybe something has changed here where we need to capitalize on this. We can't have solo and LA and I team with Royce Keys again with 946. 114 00:11:41,660 --> 00:11:49,660 We should make them more of a heel stable and make the bloodline a little bit more sympathetic because the bloodline will be full heel and now here they are acting a little bit more like baby faces. 115 00:11:49,660 --> 00:12:09,660 Because Jacob and the Usos are very popular as his Roman as his solo. So I'm thinking that we may see Jacob the Usos solo and LA Knight partner at let's say Survivor Series War Games and 946 add some sort of two additional members on there. 116 00:12:09,660 --> 00:12:28,660 And we know in the past like it doesn't take much it could be a couple members of the vision it could be a returning Drew McIntyre it could be anyone it could be somebody that isn't signed right now or it is signed in developmental territory that gets a massive push like O.T.M. Bronco Neeman Lucien priced it. 117 00:12:28,660 --> 00:12:46,660 The week before that they popped up on Ron joined forces with 946 they're wrestling um uh Brian Pellman Jr. Lexus King in a speed match and reuniting or they're getting laid out by peril stay mall in triple A. I mean it's it's amazing how quickly things turn and we don't even bat an eye at it. 118 00:12:46,660 --> 00:13:00,660 So you know I would be surprised that if we see some sort of Roman Reigns being taken out maybe there's like a match at money that there is a match at money to bank with LA Knight and Roman Reigns and LA Knight kind of sit in his promo on Monday that Roman is trying to fix his legacy. 119 00:13:00,660 --> 00:13:06,660 He's not having people come out and cost him the match he's winning them cleanly and he respects that. 120 00:13:06,660 --> 00:13:34,660 So if Roman beats LA Knight cleanly money in the bank I could see something either a handshake in the ring after money in the bank or the next night on Raw where it's just basically like not making a mend but there's mutual respect for the way that Roman Reigns is now carrying himself to LA Knight and then let's say 946 lays out Roman Reigns so that you know he has this like final eight weeks of the year taken off like he typically does and then returns it like that first raw of the year or you know rumble what have you for WrestleMania season. 121 00:13:34,660 --> 00:13:48,660 So that's why I think it plays out right now Dr. Tura. I think what we saw we've seen a lot of foreshadowing solo LA Knight and the three other members of the bloodline and 946 the two members who join him I don't know quite yet but that's my feeling right now. 122 00:13:48,660 --> 00:14:04,660 So I still get the feeling so mine is I said if you go that route my things is going to be 4 on 4 and Jacob actually is the frontman for 946 so you get Jacob Royce and OTM against LA solo and the Usos. 123 00:14:04,660 --> 00:14:33,660 That would be interesting you're right that's a very good point. I just don't see Roman you know being in war games I mean unless there's another big name to oppose him like the next challenger coming up would be the guy that would be in war games against Roman otherwise I think it's too much of a risk to risk Roman getting hurt in war games and not having available for rumble and then into WrestleMania season so yeah I like that play I like that play. 124 00:14:33,660 --> 00:14:42,660 Yeah I could see that because you can still set up Jacob and Roman again down the line. Yeah Jacob is the heal and Romans the baby face. 125 00:14:42,660 --> 00:15:00,660 Yeah Jacob Jacob lays out Roman they try to figure out who did it and it's revealed it's Jacob or something like that like an old school and he's been behind the 946 this entire time because you know there's definitely tension between him and the Usos and he's the one that's like guiding him on advice and they're not really truly listening to any of the device advice that he's giving him. 126 00:15:00,660 --> 00:15:17,660 The weird thing is he's is you know the Usos are supposed to be the captains and he's kind of running them around right now. Yeah you know which I think it's a little bit of foreshadowing that like it's a way to kind of disrespect Roman in the long game like look I had your boys jumping through hoops chasing ghosts. 127 00:15:17,660 --> 00:15:29,660 Meanwhile it was me pulling the strings the entire time. Yeah who's the real travel chief now. And then the last question I'll ask you about the 946 doctor tray have they become a major enough threat to carry the next bloodline chapter forward. 128 00:15:29,660 --> 00:15:45,660 I think so. I think you need either OTM to get a win over you need somebody to get a win. You know it's a kind of it's kind of the Bronson Reed beating Roman Reigns you know was it in Australia last year. 129 00:15:45,660 --> 00:15:56,660 You need that signature moment. Because right now they're just thugs and that's and that's kind of the you know the old school heel mentality is like book these guys like they're super strong. 130 00:15:56,660 --> 00:16:04,660 But what actually comes to a match they can actually win the match they need you know a signature victory which might come in war games. 131 00:16:04,660 --> 00:16:11,660 You know they need that signature win. To kind of like go yeah these guys are. 132 00:16:11,660 --> 00:16:18,660 Critting you know credible press like like what's Royce keys is biggest victory on the main roster OTM having a match on the main roster. 133 00:16:18,660 --> 00:16:34,660 Yeah yeah so they need that signature win to kind of cement them as hey this is we got the baby face bloodline we got the heel 946 this he was going to last this can drag on a while and we can run this out for you know six months with these guys. 134 00:16:34,660 --> 00:16:42,660 I think we get like some sort of bourbon street street fight match at money the bank in a couple weeks with the three. 135 00:16:42,660 --> 00:16:56,660 The two the two who so's fought to and and nine four six and that's where I think that big nine four six win comes from them so really good stuff on the red brand as well it's becoming a compelling storyline as they kind of tighten up some of the loose ends that we're going on. 136 00:16:56,660 --> 00:17:05,660 Dr. Trey this weekend we've got WWE and a W invading Chicago land on the same night it certainly feels like Saturday is becoming a wrestling war. 137 00:17:05,660 --> 00:17:17,660 We've got worlds collide and all out both taking place at night in the Chicago area worlds collide scheduled for seven thirty at all state arena while all outs made a card starts at seven p.m. Central at the now arena. 138 00:17:17,660 --> 00:17:42,660 Don't use event page list world Clyde as a live event while reports this week said the show will be filled with commentary but the broadcast plan remains unclear I've seen stuff that'll be on YouTube some seen stuff that will be on it's a PLE very much all over the place as of right now we'll cover a W all out in just a bit but world's collage got drag and leave versus Jake Jack cartwheel last last loss to key cuss versus fatal influence. 139 00:17:42,660 --> 00:17:50,660 Triple A renaid a ray us champion lock out a Lena taking on Roxanne per red Perez the lucha bros reforming against Los perils day mall. 140 00:17:50,660 --> 00:17:59,660 C and punk remisterio and triple A mega champion on Grande Americana taking on Dominic Dominic Mysterio JD Macdonough and Omas on the NXT side. 141 00:17:59,660 --> 00:18:11,660 We had the two thousand twenty six dusty roads texting classic begin on Tuesday when they'll I'm darn Romeo Moreno limiting triple A is Los Americana so we had late lock out a Lena the hailed also defeating NXT women's champion 142 00:18:11,660 --> 00:18:21,660 Colony Jordan NXT women's North American champions and Zarya and then it's just continues the function is W. E. crossover bridge with triple A heading into worlds collide the bottom line in this all Dr. 143 00:18:21,660 --> 00:18:32,660 Trey is WWE NAW are competing for the same wrestling audience in the same market on the same night so my first question for you is does running worlds collide opposite all out help W. E. 144 00:18:32,660 --> 00:18:42,660 slash triple A or unnecessary split the wrestling audience. 145 00:18:42,660 --> 00:18:53,660 >> Los Tac Paxicas as you're trying to say I mean it gets eyeballs on your triple A. >> Yeah I mean it's just the double double threat right there we need one more yeah I mean maybe. 146 00:18:53,660 --> 00:18:58,660 >> I'm a I'm a I'm a big Jack Carwheel fans I'm excited to see Jack Carwheel in action. 147 00:18:58,660 --> 00:19:04,660 I mean if we get Jack's Jack Carwheel versus Doug submersault that'd be great too. 148 00:19:04,660 --> 00:19:23,660 But to me this is the largest a power play for Chicago for WWE trying to like you know kind of one up a W to me if you're not putting on TV is just a live event or you're just recording it like it's it's almost like a waste of production sense. 149 00:19:23,660 --> 00:19:44,660 >> Yeah like I most of the time I always I'm good with competition but man just running the show last minute with no real production plans trying to throw it together last minute just screams kind of desperate at the time for WWE in this in this one so whatever the A W stands is that's I'm pro AEW on this one. 150 00:19:44,660 --> 00:20:06,660 >> Yeah it's it's certainly interesting here I to me I'm pro AEW as well you know I don't watch triple A I know everybody's like really big on it right now and as they should be but to me it's not enough to like really invade anything that's going on with with all out I think WWE's making a mistake here but if they come out looking good it it'll be some interesting discussion in chatter on next week's show for sure. 151 00:20:06,660 --> 00:20:14,660 >> Dr. Tray if both shows are available to watch which card feels more like it's a must see for you I think it's a very easy question based on your last answer. 152 00:20:14,660 --> 00:20:26,660 >> The AEW show I mean although see I'm punk and I'm awesome is interesting it could argue to be the greatest wrestler of our generation versus maybe the worst wrestler of our generation. 153 00:20:26,660 --> 00:20:34,660 >> Wow. >> But those guys I mean I mean I'm awesome not a great in ring wrestler so you know I think it's a punk it's a mask. 154 00:20:34,660 --> 00:20:42,660 >> Oh no oh boss yeah. >> Okay. >> So I mean you see I mean oh boss does throw better punches and shame so I give them that. >> Very true. 155 00:20:42,660 --> 00:21:03,660 >> But I mean this is AEW shows way better and even this is not even their best show they come up with it's I would say all that's like a B plus show for them maybe on paper not even an A level show but it's still better than worlds collide because I also have a handful of things on here like there's really nothing on here that I even saw that I'm like ooh I have to see that match. 156 00:21:03,660 --> 00:21:14,660 >> Like there's nothing on the car that has me super psyched even waste my time trying to find it on some platform somewhere in the streaming etherverse. 157 00:21:14,660 --> 00:21:25,660 >> No I always feel like when they run NXT against AEW I've always felt like it's the show I that I watch afterwards right and I don't even know if I'll tune in a world's play I may just look for a couple clips some some 158 00:21:25,660 --> 00:21:37,660 some reason but outside of like that I don't necessarily think that I'm dying to go find triple a world's collide at this point so it's it's definitely all out without a doubt you're about to say something. 159 00:21:37,660 --> 00:21:44,660 >> Yeah. >> No I'm just like I'm running through the card my head I was like I said earlier is like is there a match on all out. 160 00:21:44,660 --> 00:21:53,660 >> Hey let's get into it. >> Let's get into it Dr. Trey right so we've got all out this weekend in the this area from the now arena in a half 161 00:21:53,660 --> 00:22:00,660 of the states Illinois a couple things that are going on leading up to it so this is the first major defensive will osprey's AW world championship 162 00:22:00,660 --> 00:22:07,660 rain. Mosley is two of two and no against osprey singles matches which gives the main event an actual real reason to feel dangerous. 163 00:22:07,660 --> 00:22:17,660 Mercedes Monae is not medically cleared so she will miss the show is AW1's world champion and then tonight's dynamite collision as we are recording this on Wednesday afternoon will determine which team carries the AW world 164 00:22:17,660 --> 00:22:26,660 championship into all out and then could still produce a late card edition so as of Wednesday morning you've got the tailgate pre show you got jungle jack Perry versus 165 00:22:26,660 --> 00:22:34,660 Cazio or Shabbata you've got the bang bang gang and taking on the dogs and the death writers in a tailgate ball match. 166 00:22:34,660 --> 00:22:42,660 The main card is very strong you've got Darby Allen and Stephen Borden versus Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight winner becomes the new 167 00:22:42,660 --> 00:22:48,660 10th of the AW world championship will a night and gal versus Tecla winner earns an AW1's world championship match against Mercedes Monae 168 00:22:48,660 --> 00:22:54,160 and Russell dream the Brawling birds take it on the divine dominion and Chicago Street fight for the AW1's world 169 00:22:54,160 --> 00:23:00,660 tag team championship on dry day I'll eat a little versus Pock for the AW national championship Cazicco caught a defense the AW 170 00:23:00,660 --> 00:23:06,660 international championship against a muscle champ a AW world trials champions for strictly and coffee Kingston Austin Creed or the 171 00:23:06,660 --> 00:23:13,660 demand as we record this will be taken on hangman Adam page bandino and Brody King for the AW world trials championship Adam Copeland and Christian 172 00:23:13,660 --> 00:23:19,660 Caz defend the AW world tag team championship in a three way ladder match against a hardwood and cash will or FTR and the young 173 00:23:19,660 --> 00:23:27,660 bucks Matt and Nick Jackson and then finally for the AW world championship you've got Will Osprey taken on John Moxley so Dr. Trey what are you most 174 00:23:27,660 --> 00:23:31,660 interested in now that I ran through the card as of today. 175 00:23:31,660 --> 00:23:42,660 The ladder match for the tag titles I mean you get arguably the three greatest tag teams of the last 20 years. 176 00:23:42,660 --> 00:23:51,660 I mean you got through I mean you got through a new day in there and new so's but three of the top five tag teams of the last 20 years in one match 177 00:23:51,660 --> 00:24:04,660 that's pretty great Osprey or see me Osprey and Moxley I'm excited for Champa and Okada I'm excited for the tailgate brawl I'm excited for so there's four or five right 178 00:24:04,660 --> 00:24:12,660 there just at the top I'm like these and you know it does if you get swerve in the new level against you know hangman and Brody to that's that's 179 00:24:12,660 --> 00:24:25,660 pretty good one too so like even the worst I mean even Darby in in Sting Jr. because it will I mean is it it's Steve Borden and then Steven Borden so that 180 00:24:25,660 --> 00:24:32,660 would be a junior right I guess so yeah maybe we may not have the same little name yeah but he's so to me he's Sting Jr. 181 00:24:32,660 --> 00:24:44,660 So Darby in Sting Jr. versus Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher that might be the worst match on paper on the show but it's still more intriguing to me than anything on World's 182 00:24:44,660 --> 00:24:52,660 Clyde. Yeah we watch it every week right like I I don't watch AAA it's just too much for me I've got a kid I'm married you do watch it 183 00:24:52,660 --> 00:24:59,660 and is it a compelling television show for you yeah yeah it's a good show I've heard it is I've heard it's very good I mean I do feel like I 184 00:24:59,660 --> 00:25:04,660 should check it out but it's just it's just so damn much sometimes you know yeah and you get exhausted and it's overload on 185 00:25:04,660 --> 00:25:12,660 wrestling I don't want to watch you know on Fridays now or when does it air Saturdays yes but I always catch it like on 186 00:25:12,660 --> 00:25:22,660 Tuesdays well you could watch it whenever you want yeah yeah it's kind of like my Tuesday morning show yeah fair enough fair enough so I mean for me when I'm most 187 00:25:22,660 --> 00:25:26,660 interested you've got Osprey and Moxley for the first real test of whether Osprey is title random 188 00:25:26,660 --> 00:25:32,660 immediately feels like the center of AW the three way ladder match has the history and star power to see the show and then 189 00:25:32,660 --> 00:25:37,660 tonight's trio match matters because it literally changes one of Saturday's championship matches so the bottom line 190 00:25:37,660 --> 00:25:42,660 and it's all Dr. Tray is that all it has a strong wrestling card but Osprey versus Moxley needs to make the 191 00:25:42,660 --> 00:25:48,660 show feel like the beginning of the Osprey era not just another great AW pay for you I think that is the mission 192 00:25:48,660 --> 00:25:55,660 statement so Dr. Tray does Osprey need to beat Moxley decisively to establish himself as AW's unquestioned top star 193 00:25:55,660 --> 00:26:03,660 yeah I mean you know I mean two years ago we had the we had the title in a briefcase you know and we didn't see it for 194 00:26:03,660 --> 00:26:12,660 you know 14 months or something like that so this is you know another we just saw that the torch get pass from a mega 195 00:26:12,660 --> 00:26:21,660 Osprey this is another bit of like you know torch passing in a sense from Moxley to Osprey like if if so Osprey needs the good solid 196 00:26:21,660 --> 00:26:28,660 win uh to kind of establish himself I mean and this is not the same Mox from the death writers we saw during that 197 00:26:28,660 --> 00:26:33,660 run where you know everybody was jumping this is a weird Moxley character where he's just kind of like 198 00:26:33,660 --> 00:26:39,660 you know the death or well I would say they're not lone wolfing it but like he'll shake somebody's hand 199 00:26:39,660 --> 00:26:46,660 you know if they earn his respect or you know but he's not getting the five people from the death 200 00:26:46,660 --> 00:26:54,660 writers jumping in to save his title so if Osprey gets that you know good solid win over Mox and and 201 00:26:54,660 --> 00:27:02,660 establish himself as like he is the guy and it's not just a weird like you know one month three month 202 00:27:02,660 --> 00:27:09,660 run and then on to the next guy like he needs this win the kind of like nobody else holds title or title or 203 00:27:09,660 --> 00:27:17,660 holds title wins over Omega and Moxley during their time on top yeah I think this is like the perfect opponent for him is 204 00:27:17,660 --> 00:27:24,660 is is Moxley and it's um it's the ace it's the ace of a w it's it's you know he beat one of the legacies 205 00:27:24,660 --> 00:27:30,660 and the pillars of a w and Kenny Omega at all out and now you're facing the next top guy who is to find a w and 206 00:27:30,660 --> 00:27:36,660 John Moxley maybe the next title defense is like an MJF to kind of really solidify this is now my organization 207 00:27:36,660 --> 00:27:43,660 and that will be a very intriguing character build for for Will Osprey but yeah this you know he had a we know he could 208 00:27:43,660 --> 00:27:49,660 wrestle Kenny Omega and have a great match we've seen it multiple times but now he's got a championship 209 00:27:49,660 --> 00:27:54,660 belt for a major United States promotion can he do it against one of the guys that has really carried the 210 00:27:54,660 --> 00:28:00,660 banner it not really carry the banner has carried the banner for a w since it's you know it's an exception in 211 00:28:00,660 --> 00:28:07,660 Moxley he literally lives and breathes all lead wrestling um doctor trade can all out this you're going to laugh at this 212 00:28:07,660 --> 00:28:12,660 question but let's let's talk about it here can all out feel like a major event without your girl Mercedes 213 00:28:12,660 --> 00:28:17,660 Monet on the card is a w women's role champion yeah because she was gone for like a year 214 00:28:17,660 --> 00:28:26,660 but how was the w women's division then in your eyes I mean I think it struggled I think it struggled they tried 215 00:28:26,660 --> 00:28:33,660 with stat they tried with willow they tried with tecla it's it's struggle I don't think Mercedes was 216 00:28:33,660 --> 00:28:41,660 the reason I think losing Tony storms the reason very fair counterpoint because when Mercedes 217 00:28:41,660 --> 00:28:46,660 left before Tony storm did and I thought the division was fine but then it was not only 218 00:28:46,660 --> 00:28:52,660 losing Mercedes it was losing Tony and losing you know the now Blakeman row like you lost 219 00:28:52,660 --> 00:29:00,660 your three top performers in a matter of like three months so reshuffle the deck but I think right now 220 00:29:00,660 --> 00:29:07,660 like this is a time for like a tecla or willow to really step up and become you need that counterpoint 221 00:29:07,660 --> 00:29:14,660 to Mercedes whether it's the crazy psycho chick in tecla or you know America's sweetheart and willow 222 00:29:14,660 --> 00:29:20,660 you need that balance character to kind of pop up and always be that foreign in the side to Mercedes 223 00:29:20,660 --> 00:29:26,660 in her run so this is a chance for them to really kind of define their their character careers here 224 00:29:26,660 --> 00:29:32,660 yeah I totally agree I mean this is an opportunity that with Mercedes on the shelf and unavailable 225 00:29:32,660 --> 00:29:38,660 to perform I mean this is now you know who do we got here behind the scenes in in a w there 226 00:29:38,660 --> 00:29:43,660 could really kind of catapult and carry the banner at least for the women's division so it has 227 00:29:43,660 --> 00:29:47,660 me excited dr. Tray I think I think all out is is going to be a really fun show this Saturday 228 00:29:47,660 --> 00:29:53,660 from the now arena yeah I mean and Jeff I'm so proud of you because you said can the women's 229 00:29:53,660 --> 00:29:57,660 division hold up without Mercedes you didn't even mention the fact that Mayo world is not on the show 230 00:29:57,660 --> 00:30:02,660 yeah I've got I mean she's injured I really don't like taking those types of shots at her 231 00:30:02,660 --> 00:30:06,660 because of everything that's going on there's obviously insane sensitivity around it 232 00:30:06,660 --> 00:30:11,660 but I made my my things you're very clear on the podcast where just it just does you know 233 00:30:11,660 --> 00:30:15,660 want to use the word that she doesn't look like she belongs but how about this it may be 234 00:30:15,660 --> 00:30:21,660 a too much too soon when it comes to my world a little bit of the soul Rukka still over the 235 00:30:21,660 --> 00:30:26,660 soul Rukka when Rukka first got to the main roster to me it's like that classic like 236 00:30:26,660 --> 00:30:31,660 jobber gets the title all of a sudden really I mean she worked as a jober in a w and all of a sudden 237 00:30:31,660 --> 00:30:37,660 you know she's running the gambit and gambit in the in the Owen Hart cup with a great story 238 00:30:37,660 --> 00:30:43,660 and then they put the TBS championship on her and she just promo wise not there in ring wise 239 00:30:43,660 --> 00:30:47,660 you know a stuper tube behind I think she'd be somebody that would be performing on a 240 00:30:47,660 --> 00:30:53,660 valve in WWE rather than being on like an NXT roster so it's insulting but you know 241 00:30:53,660 --> 00:30:57,660 this is what we're here for we we got to kind of like call it like we see it but I mean her story 242 00:30:57,660 --> 00:31:01,660 and everything that she's gone through is very very powerful motivating and I think if she continues 243 00:31:01,660 --> 00:31:04,660 on the path that she's on she will absolutely most certainly start picking it up 244 00:31:04,660 --> 00:31:08,660 because she's in the ring with some of the best I'm sure she's getting phenomenal advice right now 245 00:31:08,660 --> 00:31:15,660 so I think the sky is ultimately the limit for my world and AEW with that said 246 00:31:15,660 --> 00:31:20,660 let's get a couple plugs and sponsors out of the way you can download the show at patreon.com/srtupodcast 247 00:31:20,660 --> 00:31:24,660 and a store will show feed on Apple Spotify Ruby down those podcasts 248 00:31:24,660 --> 00:31:29,660 don't forget to rate review and subscribe you can fall us individually on X for myself at SRTU Jeff 249 00:31:29,660 --> 00:31:34,660 and for Dr. Dre Franklin at the Dr. Trein of course don't forget to follow the show on X at SRTU Podcast 250 00:31:34,660 --> 00:31:39,660 with that being said what is going on in the wonderful world of Dr. Dre Franklin this week. 251 00:31:39,660 --> 00:31:46,660 So like Jeff said you can follow me on X at the Dr. Trein you can find me on Instagram and Facebook Dr. Dre Franklin 252 00:31:46,660 --> 00:31:49,660 when you're on Facebook be sure to check out Rockets H Championship Wrestling 253 00:31:49,660 --> 00:31:53,660 we have our next big show coming up October 3rd so be on the lookout for that 254 00:31:53,660 --> 00:31:58,660 but you can follow all of the highlights from Rockets H Championship Wrestling over on the YouTube page 255 00:31:58,660 --> 00:32:01,660 youtube.com/rocketshabyship Wrestling 256 00:32:01,660 --> 00:32:05,660 but most importantly get out there and support your own local independent wrestling shows 257 00:32:05,660 --> 00:32:10,660 where you two can find your next person that will have a really sad story that they put a title belt on 258 00:32:10,660 --> 00:32:12,660 on AW or TNA. 259 00:32:12,660 --> 00:32:17,660 Yeah who knows yeah one of the others so there you go support all the great things that support the 260 00:32:17,660 --> 00:32:21,660 Sto Realta show and yeah thank you for downloading thank you for making a 261 00:32:21,660 --> 00:32:26,660 part of your week over to patreon.com/srtupodcast and get your show from there 262 00:32:26,660 --> 00:32:32,660 until next week when we recap and review AW All Out and everything that took place with Worlds Collide 263 00:32:32,660 --> 00:32:36,660 for Dr. Dre Franklin I am Jeff Pek this has been The Sto Realta Show
