- 2:18Speaker 4: All right, guys, welcome back e y L biggest in
- 2:22Speaker 4: the game. First and foremost, we gotta thank you guys
- 2:25Speaker 4: for making.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Us number one.
- 2:26Speaker 4: That's a fact, a historic event. First time ever a
- 2:28Speaker 4: black podcast reached number one business charge. So yeah, thank
- 2:31Speaker 4: you guys for that. So this is a this is
- 2:33Speaker 4: an episode that actually was waiting for for a while.
- 2:36Speaker 4: And it's interesting because we in Miami. So shout out
- 2:40Speaker 4: to Jason, gotta miss everybody that made this happen. Shout
- 2:42Speaker 4: out to my man Jay good Jay good Win, j
- 2:44Speaker 4: cool up. So me and Miami at one of.
- 2:47Speaker 5: These pool parties, I forget and that's all. That's that's all,
- 2:51Speaker 5: that's all that I think.
- 3:02Speaker 4: So he was telling me about he was telling me
- 3:04Speaker 4: about a couple of rappers like to come on the show.
- 3:06Speaker 4: And it's a different type of show because it's a
- 3:07Speaker 4: business show, so everybody's not a good fit for the show.
- 3:10Speaker 4: So I'm like, I'm not really sure, So I know
- 3:11Speaker 4: who I really want to have on the show. He's
- 3:13Speaker 4: like who, I'm like Jim. He's like Jim Jones. I'm
- 3:16Speaker 4: like yeah, He's like, I can make that happen. So
- 3:17Speaker 4: then he contacted now shout out to her, and then
- 3:21Speaker 4: she put me in touch with Poeme. Shout to him.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Very professional. I like the whole situation that they had running.
- 3:28Speaker 4: So I say that to say, I'm telling like a
- 3:30Speaker 4: couple of people like, yo, we got Jim coming on,
- 3:32Speaker 4: Jim Jones, And I was kind of taken back because
- 3:35Speaker 4: I don't know. I just always looked at Jim and
- 3:37Speaker 4: as like an entrepreneur, business person, like he always had
- 3:40Speaker 4: a bunch of stuff going on. And a couple people
- 3:42Speaker 4: that I was telling they didn't really understand it. They're like, well,
- 3:45Speaker 4: what's the conversation that very about? And then I'm like,
- 3:47Speaker 4: it's like giving his resume, and.
- 3:49Speaker 5: They're like, oh right, it makes sense now.
- 3:51Speaker 4: So I don't think that they fully I don't think
- 3:53Speaker 4: people fully appreciate his business acumen. But I mean, if
- 3:58Speaker 4: you look at it, you know as far Saucy Farms, Extract,
- 4:03Speaker 4: Vamp Life, Fitness, Quarantine studios.
- 4:06Speaker 5: He has a crypto coin.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Don't forget about that, and that's sold NFT seven months ago.
- 4:11Speaker 6: N f t.
- 4:14Speaker 8: First rapper to sell the n FT seven months ago
- 4:16Speaker 8: at two point five ethereum. It's roughly like four thousand dollars.
- 4:22Speaker 8: I sold a picture of my casket. I took a
- 4:24Speaker 8: picture of my casket. Somebody brought it two point five ethereum.
- 4:27Speaker 8: Now it's like four thousand dollars in my digital wallet.
- 4:31Speaker 8: So I've been I tapped the vein and then I
- 4:35Speaker 8: kind of pulled back and I'm just trying to figure
- 4:37Speaker 8: it out because I kind of take it like a
- 4:39Speaker 8: digital baseball card, and then just got caught up so
- 4:42Speaker 8: many things, and then I started seeing like.
- 4:43Speaker 6: It was back to culture.
- 4:46Speaker 8: I'm like, nft so, and it's like, all right, I
- 4:50Speaker 8: got some tricks up my sleeve for the next next eDiary.
- 4:55Speaker 4: But even before I like he started, if I'm not mistaken,
- 4:59Speaker 4: as he was filming, he was the CAIM. He was
- 5:02Speaker 4: doing CAM work right.
- 5:04Speaker 8: Yeah, I did pretty much director for Cam, from security
- 5:08Speaker 8: to management, to video director to mors, marketing to promo
- 5:12Speaker 8: to anything that had to do with the diplomats and
- 5:15Speaker 8: anything that you've seen. I pretty much was the one
- 5:18Speaker 8: making the vision happen. And it's a vision that all
- 5:22Speaker 8: of us put together, but the work behind the scenes
- 5:24Speaker 8: and all that was a lot I had to do
- 5:26Speaker 8: with me.
- 5:28Speaker 4: So yeah, So, like I said, it made perfect sense
- 5:29Speaker 4: to me. And then once I explained it, they're like, okay,
- 5:32Speaker 4: I get it. So I'm excited to have the conversation.
- 5:35Speaker 4: So first and foremost, thank you for joining us. Appreciate it,
- 5:37Speaker 4: thank you for having me.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, I gotta tell you the line because
- 5:41Speaker 3: we lived by the line that Cam said me and
- 5:44Speaker 3: try to go way back. You know, we've been friends
- 5:45Speaker 3: since thirty twenty five years. And when Cam told him,
- 5:50Speaker 3: I'm gonna get ship, right if I spent my cake, Jimmy,
- 5:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna get you up out of five h that
- 5:55Speaker 3: was his line to me, like for years five school
- 5:58Speaker 3: and his things like I'm gonna get you by the school.
- 6:01Speaker 3: And so we finally got me up out of five
- 6:03Speaker 3: weeks to be a public school teacher.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Oh that's dope, man, Like, that's that's one of my
- 6:10Speaker 6: dream jobs is to actually be a teacher.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you used to teach a class actually right.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I told a curriculum for like three years.
- 6:17Speaker 8: They let me teach you one time during the first
- 6:19Speaker 8: time I did that, let me teach you during the
- 6:21Speaker 8: actual school.
- 6:24Speaker 6: At fifteen was mister Jones class. It was dope. But
- 6:29Speaker 6: and then they let me do it two times as
- 6:31Speaker 6: the after school program. And it was funny because all
- 6:33Speaker 6: three years my attendants.
- 6:34Speaker 8: Were perfect and actually more kids were trying to come
- 6:37Speaker 8: to the program and anybody else. And I figured one
- 6:40Speaker 8: of two weeks the kids would be done with the
- 6:42Speaker 8: Jim Jones Jim Jones, but no, they were heavily intrigued
- 6:47Speaker 8: they kept patter, they did their work. They see something
- 6:50Speaker 8: about what music does the kids, so as just to
- 6:54Speaker 8: be a part of it and learn things that they've
- 6:56Speaker 8: been watching the one to be like in rappers and
- 6:57Speaker 8: stuff like that. So I broke down a whole classroom
- 7:01Speaker 8: into a fully functioning and record label walking apartment, all
- 7:05Speaker 8: the apartments you can think of, and I bring in
- 7:07Speaker 8: the head of each department from these labels that I
- 7:09Speaker 8: used to actually speak to the kids.
- 7:11Speaker 6: And then I show the kids how to market.
- 7:12Speaker 8: And promote artists from the moment he gets signed to
- 7:15Speaker 8: the moment he puts out some music, and so forth
- 7:18Speaker 8: and so on.
- 7:18Speaker 6: It's pretty dope. I actually want to start to do
- 7:21Speaker 6: that virtually. Now, what're doing this at hargm on the Bronx?
- 7:25Speaker 6: What I mean where the school was? The school was
- 7:27Speaker 6: in Brooklyn? Did all right?
- 7:29Speaker 4: So I wanted I got a couple of questions. First,
- 7:32Speaker 4: I want to start with the music. So independent? You're
- 7:35Speaker 4: still independent?
- 7:35Speaker 6: Right? Yeah?
- 7:36Speaker 5: Empire?
- 7:37Speaker 6: Yes?
- 7:38Speaker 5: So all right? Can you break that down? Like how
- 7:40Speaker 5: what does that mean to be an independent artist?
- 7:42Speaker 4: Like do they just distribute your music and you have
- 7:44Speaker 4: to take care of like touring and marketing and all
- 7:46Speaker 4: that or like a fifty to fifty type.
- 7:48Speaker 8: It depends on what type of independent situation you win.
- 7:50Speaker 8: There's a few types. So Empire is a distribution like
- 7:54Speaker 8: so they give you distribution and they probably give you
- 7:56Speaker 8: numbers from anywhere from fifteen eighty five split to twenty
- 7:59Speaker 8: eight fist play whatever you can agree, and their job
- 8:03Speaker 8: is to make sure your music is put up on
- 8:04Speaker 8: all platforms and they monetize the music, so you could
- 8:08Speaker 8: get paid every money. And if you can make three
- 8:11Speaker 8: hundred dollars worth of music or sell three hundred dollars
- 8:13Speaker 8: worth of music, then you'll get to check money's whatever
- 8:15Speaker 8: percent out.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It is and.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Up forward.
- 8:18Speaker 8: But when artist catches a buzz with one of these records,
- 8:21Speaker 8: you know Empires compelled to give you label support and
- 8:24Speaker 8: sometimes you split my goal to a fifty to fifty
- 8:26Speaker 8: to you coup. If they put money on radio chromo
- 8:29Speaker 8: or video promo, then at that time they can act
- 8:31Speaker 8: as a label for you because you have a record
- 8:33Speaker 8: that makes sense for the both of parties to continue,
- 8:37Speaker 8: or you could just keep it how you want to
- 8:39Speaker 8: keep it, and this collect your money and then you
- 8:41Speaker 8: can sign to independent labels such as Cotch where the
- 8:44Speaker 8: numbers might be a little bit different, but you're still
- 8:46Speaker 8: an independent entity, depending depending on how you strike your deal.
- 8:49Speaker 6: But Cotch is a label no matter how you look
- 8:51Speaker 6: at it. You set that thing on fire.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yeah it was people. I see.
- 8:56Speaker 8: What people don't understand is it wasn't setting Cotch on fire.
- 8:58Speaker 8: Per Se was then set and a business model on fire.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Right right, That's what I'm saying, because you had guys,
- 9:03Speaker 3: the crew was on Depth Jam at the time, and
- 9:06Speaker 3: you had the independent thing, and it's kind of like
- 9:08Speaker 3: it's independent, but then the way they were.
- 9:10Speaker 8: Doing it, it didn't matter because people wanted to see
- 9:13Speaker 8: the diplomats exactly. So where we wanted to put the
- 9:15Speaker 8: Diplomats up, the people were going to go to get
- 9:17Speaker 8: whatever the different that's are going and I wasn't going
- 9:21Speaker 8: to get the money that I thought I should get
- 9:22Speaker 8: it a major label. So me and Cam was like,
- 9:24Speaker 8: it makes sense to do what some of these South
- 9:26Speaker 8: artists we seen were doing, and we took that model
- 9:28Speaker 8: and then that blew the whole thing up for the
- 9:32Speaker 8: whole East Coast, especially for New York and all these
- 9:34Speaker 8: independent labels that start coming out from all of these
- 9:36Speaker 8: major labels and start doing subsidiaries like rad Sony and
- 9:39Speaker 8: all these type of things solely because of us doing
- 9:42Speaker 8: what we did at Cotch.
- 9:43Speaker 6: You know, a label can't let no money slide.
- 9:45Speaker 8: If they see another business model that's working, they have
- 9:48Speaker 8: to copy so that they could jump in the game.
- 9:50Speaker 8: And this is pretty much what me and Cam did
- 9:52Speaker 8: for the East Coast of music.
- 9:55Speaker 5: That Bawling record different.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Yeah, it broke a lot of records. Make all the
- 10:01Speaker 8: money may cost like twenty million dollars something.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Don't forget the remix many something like that.
- 10:05Speaker 8: You know, I ate off of it a little bit.
- 10:07Speaker 8: Got to had a for independent artists. Was the only
- 10:10Speaker 8: independent artist to be able to get the publishing deal
- 10:12Speaker 8: at that time period, Like they were not given any
- 10:14Speaker 8: independent artists and major publishing deal and I did my
- 10:17Speaker 8: I had a big one.
- 10:20Speaker 5: So independent artists they still don't have their publishing.
- 10:24Speaker 6: It depends on independent artists are smart.
- 10:26Speaker 8: I'm not saying they don't have they publishing, the saying
- 10:28Speaker 8: major public publishing they don't give out publishing deals to
- 10:31Speaker 8: most independent artists. You have to be some phenomenal success
- 10:35Speaker 8: for them to really think that it's worth it worth
- 10:38Speaker 8: it for them to give you a major publishing deal,
- 10:41Speaker 8: and then most independent artists don't know how to retrieve
- 10:44Speaker 8: the money off their publishing, and then you have different
- 10:46Speaker 8: people that know so.
- 10:48Speaker 6: So I would so I got a whole new publishing.
- 10:50Speaker 6: I don't think I'm.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Nobody list.
- 10:54Speaker 6: I think I want nobody waiting outside for me.
- 10:59Speaker 8: In this next in this next few months, I'm going
- 11:01Speaker 8: to probably change the game on how how publishing is
- 11:04Speaker 8: scene and and and brought and invested.
- 11:08Speaker 6: In all types of things. It's been right a lot.
- 11:10Speaker 6: So yeah, I mean this is there's no way I'm
- 11:13Speaker 6: not wrong.
- 11:13Speaker 8: I mean I'm going to show artists how they get
- 11:16Speaker 8: paid instantaneously on their publishing as soon as they create records.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Yeah, now that's good because remember Brian Leslie, he was
- 11:22Speaker 4: saying like how you got to track down for your
- 11:24Speaker 4: publishing and like even overseas, and it's like it's a
- 11:27Speaker 4: whole business just trying to actually get the publisher.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Right because every time your record's getting played, technically you
- 11:32Speaker 3: should be getting paid for it. But if you've got
- 11:34Speaker 3: people playing it in Germany and people playing in South Africa,
- 11:36Speaker 3: who's the person.
- 11:37Speaker 6: That's track tracking all? And it's there's people that actually
- 11:40Speaker 6: do that as people get paid for that.
- 11:41Speaker 8: And then there's people that are actually a vultuous for
- 11:43Speaker 8: that because they know if publishing doesn't get claimed by
- 11:48Speaker 8: a certain amount of time, they can claim it, and
- 11:50Speaker 8: then if it don't get claimed after a certain amount
- 11:52Speaker 8: of time after they claim.
- 11:53Speaker 6: It, they could keep it. So the record label just
- 11:56Speaker 6: there's people in general, there's people just like, who's into that?
- 12:00Speaker 6: Oh wow, that's crazy, it's just freaky wow. I don't
- 12:04Speaker 6: know how they do it, but like that. But I'm
- 12:06Speaker 6: not into none of that.
- 12:07Speaker 8: What I'm going to do is show artists how to
- 12:09Speaker 8: get paid. It's the team off of publishing from the
- 12:11Speaker 8: moment they created a record. I'm not gonna go into.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Were you ever signed to?
- 12:16Speaker 6: Yeah, I took a bunch of money from Sony.
- 12:19Speaker 5: That was after the ball How'd that work out?
- 12:22Speaker 6: Terribly? It was just an awful situation. They they were
- 12:27Speaker 6: in the midst of doing business with Jay and they
- 12:29Speaker 6: didn't think that it was.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I had some friction at the time.
- 12:32Speaker 6: I mean it was friction, but.
- 12:33Speaker 8: They didn't think that it was beneficial to Sony to
- 12:36Speaker 8: have him sign to Sony and Jay doing business with
- 12:38Speaker 8: him at the same time. So it's a piece of paper.
- 12:40Speaker 8: He was like, you have to sign this paper. You
- 12:41Speaker 8: don't owe it's no money nothing. That's how much money
- 12:43Speaker 8: they got everything. It was pretty much attached right off.
- 12:45Speaker 8: They didn't really care them like, they're not losing no money.
- 12:47Speaker 8: This money's grandfather. Then they just collecting the interest and
- 12:50Speaker 8: playing with tax money. So after you left, Sony, I
- 12:54Speaker 8: guess he is down the line. You do reconcile and
- 12:56Speaker 8: become part of rock Nation. Yeah, how what was that process?
- 12:59Speaker 6: Like? I actually I ran into you at a rock
- 13:02Speaker 6: Nation event. It was.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Downtown and y'all were talking about the history of the
- 13:07Speaker 3: label with you BIZ and Lenny Yuls was there and
- 13:10Speaker 3: I'm like, wow, this is crazy. I'm actually watching history
- 13:12Speaker 3: take place. So how did that relationship get reconciled and
- 13:15Speaker 3: how did you get to rock Nation.
- 13:17Speaker 8: It's mutual friends, man, Vic, that always work out with.
- 13:21Speaker 8: So we still have mutual friends that's I'm cool.
- 13:23Speaker 6: With and they cool with and stuff like that. And
- 13:25Speaker 6: it's worked in that favor. And you know Tom and
- 13:28Speaker 6: til Tom heals everything And as you get older you
- 13:32Speaker 6: want to make smaller moves and do things. That's that's
- 13:35Speaker 6: that's worth it.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I mean, we spoke the fact Joe, and that was
- 13:39Speaker 3: similar thing as a fan watching it, it was like
- 13:41Speaker 3: we got to watch some of the guys that we
- 13:43Speaker 3: looked up to actually age and grow and mature, and
- 13:46Speaker 3: so it's beautiful to see that. That's why, you know
- 13:48Speaker 3: what I mean, It's just a dope thing because a
- 13:50Speaker 3: lot of the times, especially growing up, we lost some
- 13:52Speaker 3: of our greatest artists because they never got a chance
- 13:54Speaker 3: to mature and grow and reconcile with some of their differences.
- 13:56Speaker 6: So I think it's beautiful that y'all got to.
- 13:58Speaker 8: To do that.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Onds shout out for the whole recomation.
- 14:02Speaker 4: So you know what, m him in fact Joe having
- 14:04Speaker 4: common with me. The first time I saw a fact
- 14:05Speaker 4: Joe in person was the Rocker. First time I saw
- 14:07Speaker 4: him in person was Kingdom. He's riding a bicycle. Richie
- 14:12Speaker 4: Parker was there. It was like real minutes of society
- 14:15Speaker 4: type viob like he was riding a bicycle and Kingdom.
- 14:17Speaker 4: That's the first time ever saw him in person. Basketball
- 14:21Speaker 4: call on basketball tournament. So let's get to this event
- 14:24Speaker 4: like fitness. You know what, I'm not sure if you
- 14:28Speaker 4: really realized what you like that that fitness wave like,
- 14:32Speaker 4: because we used to work at what we still do.
- 14:34Speaker 4: But at that time, we was working out a lot,
- 14:36Speaker 4: and we was getting a workouts from your page, Like
- 14:38Speaker 4: we would watch your page like, yo, he just did this.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Try.
- 14:42Speaker 6: We would come up with a sky I still having
- 14:43Speaker 6: on my phone. I'll show you after this.
- 14:44Speaker 3: It was that in case you missed it, in case
- 14:46Speaker 3: you did it, in case you did it. I did legs,
- 14:49Speaker 3: and so he was what we're gonna do today. I'm like,
- 14:51Speaker 3: let me see what Jim did. All that was good,
- 14:54Speaker 3: it was great.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Just do that more often?
- 14:57Speaker 6: Had I had so much was going on. So the
- 15:00Speaker 6: shoulder got twisted. Yeah, and I was like, damn, we
- 15:03Speaker 6: do everything.
- 15:05Speaker 8: I still got all the footage in my phone, Like
- 15:07Speaker 8: I still work at least five times a week just
- 15:10Speaker 8: editing and putting it up.
- 15:11Speaker 6: But I did a deal with.
- 15:13Speaker 8: Data pro for vanfit, a company called data Pro from
- 15:17Speaker 8: we just be selling everything from bands to equipment, to
- 15:21Speaker 8: challenges to work out, to fitness, to nutrition to anything
- 15:26Speaker 8: possibly think of when it comes to fitness. I believe
- 15:29Speaker 8: you're doing a soft lawn trouble. Believe it's like March eighth.
- 15:32Speaker 8: But the website goes up and find out some more
- 15:36Speaker 8: information about what we were about to offer and what
- 15:38Speaker 8: we're about to bring to the table.
- 15:41Speaker 4: It's like like, like, what's the thing that we used
- 15:43Speaker 4: to doyy beach body.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Beach body.
- 15:46Speaker 6: So it's like that, it's something like that. That's a
- 15:51Speaker 6: whole different I don't know if we're gonna hold full time.
- 15:55Speaker 8: It's definitely some great challenges. I got some I got
- 15:57Speaker 8: some dope trainers. That's uh that works with me, and
- 16:00Speaker 8: we got some dope stuff for the people. You know,
- 16:03Speaker 8: I'm heavy on being able to work out in the
- 16:04Speaker 8: house without with minimal equipment to you, So this is
- 16:07Speaker 8: what a lot of the challenges are based on.
- 16:10Speaker 6: And at the same time for those who love to
- 16:12Speaker 6: go to the gym and share you with it. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 6: I've seen that one of the towel workouts with the Dumbells.
- 16:18Speaker 6: I'm like, I don't know if I could try that yet.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I liked Jim when he was had his shoulder hert
- 16:22Speaker 3: because it was like, you know what, I can do
- 16:24Speaker 3: that and then you got healed.
- 16:25Speaker 6: I'm like, no, you know, it's one of these games.
- 16:28Speaker 4: It's a billion dollar industry and there's so many people
- 16:32Speaker 4: that need direction when they work out. I say that
- 16:34Speaker 4: to say I'm glad that you're doing that, because I
- 16:37Speaker 4: was I was thinking like they should have been did
- 16:39Speaker 4: this because it was like people was literally watching your
- 16:42Speaker 4: page and not just us like our friends that work
- 16:44Speaker 4: out too, Like everybody was like tuning in, like yo,
- 16:46Speaker 4: it's really legit the workouts, and.
- 16:48Speaker 6: So didn't rant back up.
- 16:49Speaker 8: And there's one of the reasons I slowed down is
- 16:51Speaker 8: because I did the deal and they were building a
- 16:53Speaker 8: website and I want to have all the footage. So
- 16:55Speaker 8: then that we uploaded on the website, so we can
- 16:57Speaker 8: now drive traffic to the website from my social page.
- 17:00Speaker 8: When I put up a little workout that you can
- 17:02Speaker 8: go watch the full workout at the verir fit site
- 17:04Speaker 8: and then we'll put those up.
- 17:07Speaker 6: Yeah, app, website everything.
- 17:09Speaker 5: When did you get into work like you always want
- 17:11Speaker 5: to work out?
- 17:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I've been working out for the past twenty seven
- 17:14Speaker 6: years of my life, you know what I mean. I
- 17:16Speaker 6: started I.
- 17:16Speaker 8: Started really working on when I got with my lady.
- 17:18Speaker 8: I was a bit slim, you know, I ain't really
- 17:21Speaker 8: want to look in at the other niggas, so.
- 17:27Speaker 6: I had to put some weight on. Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 8: No better inspiration than that, yeah, man, But Vamford, Yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 8: we are. We definitely got something going.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Man.
- 17:38Speaker 8: Fitness is a part of life, is a way of
- 17:40Speaker 8: life for us. So you're not just doing it for
- 17:41Speaker 8: the camera for the money.
- 17:42Speaker 6: This is something that we do every day like an army.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Yeah, so vamp Fit is one thing, but vamped Life
- 17:48Speaker 3: is the clothing. Vamp Life is the overall brand. Fire
- 17:51Speaker 3: Life is the overall brand.
- 17:52Speaker 8: And yeah, I have a clothing line called Vampire Life
- 17:55Speaker 8: that I did a lot of March through and things
- 17:57Speaker 8: like that. So Vampire Life it's pretty much what I've
- 18:00Speaker 8: been pushing since I've been doing a different mess stuff
- 18:03Speaker 8: than Villa is all over the place of It's pretty
- 18:06Speaker 8: much to the enterprise of everything that I got under it,
- 18:09Speaker 8: from the Quarantine Studios to the coin to everything that.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I want to talk about that Quarantine Studios, What's what's
- 18:14Speaker 4: the deal with that? That seems like a good idea,
- 18:16Speaker 4: another good idea, lot of good ideas.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Good ideas. It's cool with execution is everything. That's what having.
- 18:26Speaker 8: Blessed to do is to execute all these ideas that
- 18:28Speaker 8: I came with. Now, Quarantine Studios it is two Folds's
- 18:31Speaker 8: one part is there's a platform building services for artists
- 18:36Speaker 8: and artists alike. I mean for independent artists or established artists,
- 18:42Speaker 8: or even people who wish to run the services from
- 18:45Speaker 8: people such as DJs rappers.
- 18:49Speaker 5: So a PR manager, your.
- 18:52Speaker 8: Entertainment lawyer, whatever you could think, publishing or you can
- 18:58Speaker 8: return the services. And then the flip side is we
- 19:01Speaker 8: have a techie part of the platform that we've created, and.
- 19:05Speaker 6: I've figured out how to recall.
- 19:08Speaker 8: Virtually in real time with no latency, and I could
- 19:11Speaker 8: add everybody to it and I can recall with anybody
- 19:13Speaker 8: and my engineer could be on the moon as long
- 19:15Speaker 8: as he has Wi Fi and I ain't got to
- 19:16Speaker 8: do nothing but get in the booth, like I'm really
- 19:18Speaker 8: in the booth.
- 19:19Speaker 6: And that's for everybody that's on the screen. So how
- 19:23Speaker 6: does that work?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Is the typical thing would be studio time. So I'm wondering,
- 19:26Speaker 3: is Quarantine Studios a subscription service?
- 19:29Speaker 6: Well I do.
- 19:33Speaker 8: I can't talk about my partner that the partners that
- 19:36Speaker 8: we have that's actually building building it out. What I
- 19:39Speaker 8: can tell you this is probably one of the biggest
- 19:42Speaker 8: forms of movement in the whole space of the world
- 19:46Speaker 8: right now, and it's definitely puts a smile on my face.
- 19:49Speaker 6: But all these things you're talking about are all gonna
- 19:52Speaker 6: be built.
- 19:52Speaker 8: In from clouds and engines in the sky where we
- 19:56Speaker 8: don't have to actually use the space on your computer
- 19:59Speaker 8: and you still get the full capability of the studio
- 20:02Speaker 8: we have to it's all these type of things. We
- 20:05Speaker 8: don't have to go deep into that. I don't want
- 20:07Speaker 8: people to feel like I'm too much of a nerve.
- 20:10Speaker 8: I keep my gangster going up.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Yeah at all times. Yes, we have.
- 20:16Speaker 8: People that's building out the whole platform and it's gonna
- 20:18Speaker 8: make it very convenient for people. And this is pretty
- 20:20Speaker 8: much natural progression, like from deepers to iPhones and the
- 20:23Speaker 8: wave of where the whole record industry is gonna have
- 20:26Speaker 8: to go from the looks of things and everything being
- 20:29Speaker 8: closed in and everybody had to switch over to doing
- 20:31Speaker 8: everything virtually. This is one stop shopping. I mean, you
- 20:35Speaker 8: got executives that could be in Cali and now look
- 20:37Speaker 8: at an artist that's in the studio in Miami and
- 20:40Speaker 8: watching record and if he likes them, you can actually
- 20:42Speaker 8: sign that artist without leaving the screen. You can send
- 20:44Speaker 8: a link with the lawyer on there and the lawyer
- 20:46Speaker 8: pop up. Nobody leave the screen until the deal is done.
- 20:48Speaker 8: Ship like that, and I'm gonna have the auto sign
- 20:51Speaker 8: built in so it would be one click up a
- 20:52Speaker 8: button and you could just sign directly digitally and your
- 20:56Speaker 8: career is set. This type of shit is different, So
- 20:58Speaker 8: I'm not gonna keep getting into Now.
- 21:01Speaker 3: This is good because as you're talking, I'm thinking about
- 21:03Speaker 3: all the tech that's involved. So it's like, not that
- 21:05Speaker 3: you're nerve, but it's like, I mean that people get
- 21:08Speaker 3: to hear you talk about this because it's like, yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 3: you got.
- 21:10Speaker 4: To know, you gotta know, you gotta speak about it
- 21:13Speaker 4: because it's like, at the end of the day, it's
- 21:15Speaker 4: all about education. And it's like if people aren't properly educated,
- 21:19Speaker 4: they keep making the same mistakes and they keep getting
- 21:23Speaker 4: like mad at their regulabel. They're getting taken advantage of
- 21:25Speaker 4: it because they're not being educated. So it's like, at
- 21:27Speaker 4: the end of the day, this is why I think
- 21:28Speaker 4: our platform is so successful now because it's like, yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 4: I mean, education is the new cool.
- 21:33Speaker 6: Of course, it's cool to be educated for the life
- 21:35Speaker 6: of me.
- 21:36Speaker 8: Anywhere I'm only to gain knowledge and give knowledge. Yeah,
- 21:41Speaker 8: just I don't know it all and I can learn
- 21:43Speaker 8: it all.
- 21:43Speaker 4: That's it. That's it, And it's like, you know, it's
- 21:47Speaker 4: so many artists. I feel like coming up, how are
- 21:50Speaker 4: they gonna? And I want to get your your perspective
- 21:53Speaker 4: on this, like how has what do you think the
- 21:55Speaker 4: direction of music is now? Like you think major labels
- 21:58Speaker 4: at some point will be non existent? Or will they
- 22:01Speaker 4: always be there? Like what's your what's your?
- 22:03Speaker 6: Labels are always going to be there.
- 22:04Speaker 8: As much as the artists like to say fuck the
- 22:06Speaker 8: major label and all that, that's one of the biggest
- 22:08Speaker 8: banks you ever could do business with. At some point
- 22:12Speaker 8: you will want to match a dollar if you even
- 22:15Speaker 8: if your self contained record label that's doing one hundred
- 22:19Speaker 8: million dollars, if the Rector label say we're gonna put
- 22:21Speaker 8: two hundred on top of that hundred you've been making
- 22:22Speaker 8: what you're gonna do?
- 22:24Speaker 6: Why would you not do it?
- 22:25Speaker 8: At that point? That's money is non recoupable. You ain't
- 22:28Speaker 8: got to pay back ship once they put it in
- 22:30Speaker 8: your bank account. They hope that you selling enough records
- 22:32Speaker 8: to make some of this shit back. You understand what
- 22:34Speaker 8: I'm saying. So I don't want the labels to go
- 22:37Speaker 8: anywhere I needed, I mean, wanted to match offs and
- 22:40Speaker 8: things like that. But for most artists to understand what
- 22:43Speaker 8: they mean by fuck the labels. They come into the
- 22:45Speaker 8: game thinking that the labels is here to jerk them,
- 22:47Speaker 8: and that's so stupid because you're only gonna jerk yourself.
- 22:52Speaker 8: You know the rules, man, You get what you negotiating,
- 22:54Speaker 8: now what you deserve, So you better hope you can
- 22:56Speaker 8: negotiate what you deserve.
- 22:58Speaker 6: And that's just that.
- 23:00Speaker 8: It's like when people come in the game and they
- 23:02Speaker 8: give up fifty percent of everything, and then five years later,
- 23:06Speaker 8: when learned the game, they riffing and.
- 23:07Speaker 6: Ran on social media. Fuck this, but this is what
- 23:12Speaker 6: you agreed to when you first came in.
- 23:14Speaker 8: You dig and there's a way smarter way to go
- 23:16Speaker 8: about things than getting on the grand and saying fuck this, nigga,
- 23:18Speaker 8: because that ain't gonna get your money back.
- 23:20Speaker 6: You gotta be sound, and you gotta be small out here.
- 23:22Speaker 8: And the industry is one of the illest games ever
- 23:24Speaker 8: because so many niggas that are seen get robbed and
- 23:27Speaker 8: that's all they do is complain above, but actually do
- 23:29Speaker 8: nothing to actually get their money back.
- 23:31Speaker 3: But is it and we have this discussion all the time,
- 23:34Speaker 3: we talk about the music business, but is it really
- 23:36Speaker 3: a business like the things that you learned. You had
- 23:39Speaker 3: to go through to actually physically get that lesson right,
- 23:42Speaker 3: There was no book, right, So is it really a business?
- 23:45Speaker 8: It's definitely a business. It's one of the biggest business
- 23:49Speaker 8: moving liquid out here. It's no biggest than the music business.
- 23:53Speaker 8: But the thing about that is no different than the
- 23:55Speaker 8: crypto space. You can create your own wous within this
- 23:58Speaker 8: music business. The more you gain success and the more
- 24:01Speaker 8: you become an influencer, the more they let you do
- 24:04Speaker 8: what the fuck you want to do. And if you're
- 24:05Speaker 8: smart enough, you're building a blueprint that people going to
- 24:07Speaker 8: follow that makes you make a dollar. That's why the
- 24:10Speaker 8: game is so ill. Of course it's a business. You
- 24:13Speaker 8: did now, does the business have a hard helld No.
- 24:16Speaker 8: The building this business is built on discouragement.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Period. You heard.
- 24:20Speaker 8: You gotta be strong minded to make a dollar in
- 24:23Speaker 8: the midst of this music industry. That's why it's only
- 24:26Speaker 8: a few of them that's making that type of dollar.
- 24:29Speaker 4: I think what you were talking about, what Chris got
- 24:31Speaker 4: you're talking about, right, It wasn't that he said it
- 24:33Speaker 4: wasn't a business. He was saying that it's not run
- 24:35Speaker 4: like a business where it's like you can just become
- 24:38Speaker 4: an executive just because you know somebody Like, but.
- 24:41Speaker 8: But what really what what constitutes us saying? This is
- 24:46Speaker 8: how a business is ran if it makes money. If
- 24:49Speaker 8: I run my business from the house smoking weed and
- 24:51Speaker 8: I'm making more money than the way you run your business,
- 24:53Speaker 8: then whose business model is better?
- 24:55Speaker 5: That's true? True, true, it's in the eye to beholder there,
- 24:59Speaker 5: that's true. It good point.
- 25:01Speaker 8: Yeah, Like you could go to work winning full shoot,
- 25:03Speaker 8: and I could go to work wearing a T shirt
- 25:04Speaker 8: and still make more money than you wearities whatever.
- 25:09Speaker 6: It's the same difference.
- 25:10Speaker 8: So it all depends on how the beholder and how
- 25:12Speaker 8: people people consider business. At the end of the day,
- 25:15Speaker 8: business is about the dollar you make, right.
- 25:17Speaker 6: That's a fact.
- 25:18Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, So I'm listening to you talking now, I'm like,
- 25:21Speaker 3: this guy's a professor. Is part of the Quarantine studio?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Is there an education component where you're teaching these things?
- 25:27Speaker 6: These things?
- 25:28Speaker 8: Yes, there's gonna be education components on many things on
- 25:32Speaker 8: Quarantine Studio start from engineering because now it's not just
- 25:36Speaker 8: being in the studio. You have to learn how to
- 25:37Speaker 8: engineer virtually, So how the whole engineering school for people
- 25:40Speaker 8: for engineers that want to come on and learn how
- 25:42Speaker 8: to be engineers.
- 25:42Speaker 6: It's pretty soon there's space.
- 25:43Speaker 8: I'm going to have to have thousands of engineers to
- 25:46Speaker 8: occupy the space of all the studio sessions that these
- 25:50Speaker 8: kids are going to start doing virtually, So I have
- 25:52Speaker 8: to train all these and even train the kids feel
- 25:55Speaker 8: where they could just do it in their house on
- 25:56Speaker 8: their own instead of going on and getting paying for
- 26:00Speaker 8: a engineer. And then, like I said, the program that
- 26:02Speaker 8: the music program, I would like to put it back
- 26:04Speaker 8: up and do that through Quarantine Studios.
- 26:08Speaker 6: Everybody that we have working on it from from mal
- 26:11Speaker 6: she does uh.
- 26:12Speaker 8: She just does like tutorials for lawyers that come under
- 26:16Speaker 8: her and that we could use on Quarantine Studios or
- 26:19Speaker 8: uh Chanel, who's gonna have publicists over there, she does
- 26:22Speaker 8: the same thing.
- 26:23Speaker 6: So it's like and right now we have to begin
- 26:25Speaker 6: the stages.
- 26:25Speaker 8: So we're more of the trying to acquire people to
- 26:28Speaker 8: help run this machine and as opposed to giving lessons
- 26:31Speaker 8: and things like that. And then once we have every
- 26:33Speaker 8: every man on the ship that we need to make
- 26:35Speaker 8: this bitch cruise, and then we'll start giving the lessons
- 26:37Speaker 8: that need to be gay.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Your son, your son is doing engineering.
- 26:40Speaker 8: Right so uh, when I bought the when I first
- 26:43Speaker 8: brought the rig, my son is real dope at computers,
- 26:46Speaker 8: and I pretty much know he could do anything if
- 26:48Speaker 8: it's if it has involvement.
- 26:50Speaker 6: With the computer. I'm like, I need you to learn
- 26:51Speaker 6: how to engineer. It will set the shit up. So
- 26:54Speaker 6: I got uh.
- 26:56Speaker 8: Google Jay's uh, Jay's go to guy to help Sunny Digital.
- 27:04Speaker 8: Few people actually got on and showed him a couple
- 27:06Speaker 8: of tricks and he learned it like that.
- 27:08Speaker 6: So that's a skill that he has with him. When
- 27:10Speaker 6: you go to college.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Technology, they brought me, they brought me. I'm using this
- 27:14Speaker 4: is it man, he's a tech guy. I used yellow.
- 27:20Speaker 8: I can't so everything that I do I have to
- 27:23Speaker 8: write out, except for music. I don't music pan with music,
- 27:27Speaker 8: but everything I do I have to write out because
- 27:29Speaker 8: the way my brain.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Is right, so I have to kind of see it.
- 27:31Speaker 6: So I got big paths and ship like that, but
- 27:34Speaker 6: I can't do that ship, but everything on I can't.
- 27:40Speaker 8: I'm never going to go to the note like I'm
- 27:42Speaker 8: never gonna pop up my notes like no, I need
- 27:44Speaker 8: to go on my ouse.
- 27:45Speaker 6: And that ship. Boom boom boom boom boom boo like,
- 27:47Speaker 6: I'm a little bit of old school that ship.
- 27:49Speaker 8: I'll I like gadgets, though I got all the gadgets,
- 27:52Speaker 8: but I just can't.
- 27:55Speaker 6: Writing in my notes and giving me organized.
- 27:56Speaker 5: It's old school. It's it's not like you.
- 27:58Speaker 6: And I told her.
- 27:59Speaker 3: I'm like, I just told him to start him like
- 28:01Speaker 3: I got to do the iPad. I didn't even I
- 28:02Speaker 3: haven't seen it. But what happened was we kept we
- 28:05Speaker 3: kept doing the pads, and then my brother was like, ya,
- 28:07Speaker 3: gotta have some uniformity, like you got a yellow pad,
- 28:10Speaker 3: he got a white.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Pad, and then I kept losing pad. This is this
- 28:14Speaker 6: is money. This is this pad is an NFT now
- 28:18Speaker 6: n f T. We're gonna sell this path for a
- 28:20Speaker 6: whole NFT and I want some money.
- 28:24Speaker 8: A picture of this tag, every picture on this pad,
- 28:28Speaker 8: and we're gonna sell this ship as your n f
- 28:29Speaker 8: T and you're gonna make a shipload of money.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Speaking about NFTs, let's talk about nf So we interviewed uh, well,
- 28:37Speaker 4: the nineteen We got a reference nineteen Keys, shouts.
- 28:39Speaker 6: The nineteen Keys. That's my boy. That's like a smart,
- 28:43Speaker 6: smart gentleman.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Like that's my guy. So we was in Miami. He
- 28:47Speaker 4: was the first person to put us up on NFTs.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Then we interviewed Mark Cuban. Mark Cuban heavy on NFT
- 28:54Speaker 4: is making money. He made nine thirty two minutes.
- 28:58Speaker 6: That don't cheat him.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Then we interviewed and he said that's all he's focused
- 29:02Speaker 4: on right now is NFT. So it's been coming in
- 29:04Speaker 4: a wave right now. So how did you get introduced
- 29:07Speaker 4: to NFTs?
- 29:08Speaker 6: Oh, my man, no, whel he owns a platform, calls
- 29:12Speaker 6: that theory.
- 29:13Speaker 8: All that they've been helped me out a lot when
- 29:15Speaker 8: it came to all this crypto and techie stuff, and
- 29:17Speaker 8: I've learned so much for them. So maybe seven months
- 29:21Speaker 8: ago they was like, we got this new thing, NFT,
- 29:24Speaker 8: and it was explained to me and like, so it
- 29:25Speaker 8: was pretty much like like a digital baseball car pretty much.
- 29:29Speaker 8: They're like, yeah, pretty much. They're like, ship, take a
- 29:32Speaker 8: picture of something and give it to us. So I
- 29:33Speaker 8: took a picture of my chain, part of me texted
- 29:37Speaker 8: to her next day he was like, well, somebody just
- 29:39Speaker 8: brought it for a thousand dollars. I'm like, fucking need
- 29:42Speaker 8: somebody this technic for a thousand dollars. This ship is
- 29:47Speaker 8: a digit. This ship don't is what the fuck like
- 29:50Speaker 8: this ship. They like, that's it, and it was like wow.
- 29:54Speaker 8: And then to see you know, as ethereum goes up,
- 29:56Speaker 8: your money goes up and ship like that. So they
- 29:59Speaker 8: brought the four thousand dollars that was at like four
- 30:03Speaker 8: thousand dollars up and down because the theory of been
- 30:05Speaker 8: going out and going down and things like that.
- 30:07Speaker 6: But that's pretty much how NFT works. And you got
- 30:11Speaker 6: to you got the commission on it. It's mine, you did.
- 30:15Speaker 6: But now that person that brought it, every time he sells.
- 30:18Speaker 8: Us, you get a commissions commission for the life of
- 30:21Speaker 8: the whole NFT you So if it gets tossed around
- 30:24Speaker 8: a million times, I get a commission every million time.
- 30:26Speaker 5: That's the lst part.
- 30:27Speaker 6: Yeah, did you said you know the rate that you said?
- 30:29Speaker 3: Because it when when he was explaining to us the
- 30:32Speaker 3: first time he did he did ten percent, and I
- 30:33Speaker 3: was like, that's cool. I want to say, I think
- 30:35Speaker 3: it's like a teen percent.
- 30:36Speaker 5: He would have got fifty. He's like he just kept
- 30:38Speaker 5: raising it, like like why not?
- 30:40Speaker 8: It depends, Like what I just told you, the more
- 30:43Speaker 8: you are successful, the more you have influence, the more
- 30:45Speaker 8: you could do what the fuck you want to do,
- 30:48Speaker 8: and that is what Mark Cuban is doing.
- 30:51Speaker 6: He's a billion and he knows what the fuck he's
- 30:53Speaker 6: talking about.
- 30:53Speaker 8: He could keep fifty percent if he want. I don't
- 30:55Speaker 8: give a fuck. I'm in business with Mark Cuban. That's
- 30:58Speaker 8: the average person to think about. I'm half and half
- 31:01Speaker 8: of Mark Cuban.
- 31:01Speaker 6: What's up?
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah, as you're talking, I'm thinking to myself, how many
- 31:06Speaker 3: are you having these conversations with? Like when you go
- 31:09Speaker 3: out and you haul them and you you're kicking with
- 31:11Speaker 3: your always are these conversations that y'all having. Everybody's like
- 31:13Speaker 3: you trying to.
- 31:14Speaker 8: Hear that, you know, these are conversations I'm having with
- 31:17Speaker 8: a lot of my people, like dope. I'm in a
- 31:19Speaker 8: group chat now with shouts the Breezy Chris Breezy is
- 31:23Speaker 8: my dude. I was just had We was all in
- 31:25Speaker 8: the group chat earlier today with a bunch of dope
- 31:28Speaker 8: people from the crypto space, chelista Wilson challenge, shots to
- 31:31Speaker 8: a man, slow Bucks.
- 31:34Speaker 5: It's pretty much it's the wave right now, Like it's not.
- 31:37Speaker 4: That's why I said, when you see Meek Mill, that's
- 31:40Speaker 4: what he's talking about right now is crypto.
- 31:42Speaker 8: And this is why I made the coin because I
- 31:44Speaker 8: was you know, I've been in space for a minute,
- 31:46Speaker 8: and then it became like you know, every time hip
- 31:48Speaker 8: hop grabbed something, it's like anything to do. Like so
- 31:53Speaker 8: now you day when you see the little niggas start
- 31:54Speaker 8: talking about some shit and everybody start talking about some
- 31:56Speaker 8: shit and I'm just watching like this ship too easy,
- 31:58Speaker 8: and like, man, make me a coin now, I said,
- 32:01Speaker 8: people keep talking about all the ship they doing plug
- 32:04Speaker 8: plug whatever the ship is called, all on there.
- 32:08Speaker 6: I've been on a couple of times.
- 32:09Speaker 8: They all in there talking about the ship and everybody's
- 32:11Speaker 8: just talking about the ship, like ponge, get the man.
- 32:14Speaker 6: I need a coin now, I can't. I can't. I
- 32:18Speaker 6: don't like talking too much.
- 32:19Speaker 8: I don't like talking to people too much, especially stupid
- 32:22Speaker 8: people like you know what, I need to coin.
- 32:24Speaker 6: I'm not into investing in stocks.
- 32:26Speaker 8: I don't know how to invest in stocks, and I
- 32:28Speaker 8: was telling them to somebody the other day, but I
- 32:29Speaker 8: know how to create a stock so.
- 32:31Speaker 6: That you can invest in. And here we go, now
- 32:34Speaker 6: have the capital coin. Yeah you know what I mean.
- 32:38Speaker 5: So what's what's the science behind that?
- 32:40Speaker 8: Well, planning to build start with my own ecosystem, within
- 32:45Speaker 8: the culture using this social currency, meaning as the closest
- 32:50Speaker 8: things that's around. Even with business like GBN wise and
- 32:53Speaker 8: Sneaker still I'm fully invested in. So now with the
- 32:55Speaker 8: capital coin, in the future, you'll be able to use
- 32:58Speaker 8: the capital coin to buy sneakers at gb N Y
- 33:01Speaker 8: and so forth, and so like other companies like what's
- 33:06Speaker 8: my Dudes in Brooklyn?
- 33:07Speaker 6: That got that, that got the store, the drip store,
- 33:10Speaker 6: the Brothers I forgot.
- 33:11Speaker 8: But just like that, like just using everything around me
- 33:14Speaker 8: to kind of push the capal coin and create a
- 33:17Speaker 8: buzz and have people dive into it and things like that.
- 33:20Speaker 6: I mean, for what is worth.
- 33:22Speaker 8: They say, it's gonna be no more paper in a
- 33:24Speaker 8: minute and everything is going to be digital.
- 33:27Speaker 6: So at that point where we stand as the culture
- 33:32Speaker 6: is we're the power.
- 33:34Speaker 8: So you have people like Elon Musk who can say
- 33:38Speaker 8: whatever he wants, and these rappers think that he's fucking God.
- 33:44Speaker 6: But what they're not.
- 33:45Speaker 8: You know, what they're not realizing is that he's using
- 33:48Speaker 8: the power of our culture to fuel his whatever he
- 33:53Speaker 8: thinks about whenever he needs it, because he knows who
- 33:56Speaker 8: has the power is the culture. Anything we grab hold
- 34:00Speaker 8: of nine times that the ten it is going to
- 34:02Speaker 8: be successful and prosperous. But our people always tricked thinking
- 34:06Speaker 8: that somebody like Elon Musk is the gatekeeper when it's not.
- 34:10Speaker 6: When we're the gatekeepers, you know what I mean.
- 34:12Speaker 8: So I create a capital coin and hopes that our
- 34:15Speaker 8: culture understands the power of that coin and not saying
- 34:18Speaker 8: I'm the only one that has a coin, like shouts
- 34:20Speaker 8: a little YACHTI shot a little pump, shouts to acorn.
- 34:23Speaker 6: But everybody has the own.
- 34:25Speaker 8: Way of how they're doing it, Like some people just
- 34:27Speaker 8: solely relying on their success for that coin to make
- 34:30Speaker 8: money for investigent you know, I'm using my coin as
- 34:34Speaker 8: real social currency so that we kind of have our
- 34:37Speaker 8: own doubts that we can spend the same places that
- 34:40Speaker 8: bitcoin is going to be spending, the same places that
- 34:43Speaker 8: what is make Cuban saying, now you can use dolge
- 34:45Speaker 8: to buy so you understand.
- 34:48Speaker 6: I'm in the space, so I understand what's going on.
- 34:50Speaker 8: So I want to be able to use capital coin
- 34:53Speaker 8: to get maverage tickets too, like you did. But we
- 34:57Speaker 8: the culture, and we have so many things that we
- 34:59Speaker 8: could use in Adamue, Like we have black people that
- 35:01Speaker 8: listen to raptor on dentists.
- 35:03Speaker 6: We have black people to listen to rap that are
- 35:05Speaker 6: god this we have understand.
- 35:07Speaker 4: I mean, it's a whole culture and bigger than just
- 35:10Speaker 4: even black people. Just I feel like hip hop culture
- 35:12Speaker 4: influences the whole entire world.
- 35:13Speaker 6: We don't support ourselves.
- 35:17Speaker 2: You did.
- 35:18Speaker 8: We're going to buy the Balenciaga and somebody black that
- 35:20Speaker 8: make the same thing with the same college quality, even
- 35:23Speaker 8: ill a drip and we still want to buy the Balencia.
- 35:26Speaker 3: And I saw that you you You've made it a
- 35:28Speaker 3: very concerned effort to make sure that you highlighted black
- 35:31Speaker 3: businesses all the time.
- 35:33Speaker 6: I thought I thought it was for the entire saying
- 35:36Speaker 6: like I'm on some can.
- 35:42Speaker 8: Fly, I'm gonna put it on the d I'm gonna
- 35:45Speaker 8: put it on what it is I'm going you did
- 35:47Speaker 8: this now it's part of the fit is.
- 35:49Speaker 6: You did, like the drip report really in charge? Please
- 35:53Speaker 6: tell me who's really please?
- 35:58Speaker 2: That's the foot tap?
- 36:00Speaker 6: Yes I do.
- 36:03Speaker 5: I said this legendary.
- 36:04Speaker 3: I so uh and shouts everybody in Texas. But when
- 36:06Speaker 3: they had the snow, it was nothing but the foot taps.
- 36:09Speaker 3: I'm like, yo, dude, Like every week that goes crazy
- 36:15Speaker 3: it's funny. We actually on the third season on that show.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Next week we start the third season.
- 36:19Speaker 8: So shouts to everybody, rebush the Tavio is my guy.
- 36:24Speaker 3: So it started as I mean, I was watching you
- 36:27Speaker 3: on Instagram doing it, and then they saw it in course,
- 36:29Speaker 3: so it's an actual show that every Friday weekend shown.
- 36:32Speaker 8: We can web show every Friday, so you could watch
- 36:34Speaker 8: it Friday, Saturday and Sunday repeats and then it's on YouTube.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Can't keep it real with you? What's my wife donna
- 36:40Speaker 6: kill me? It was cold this morning and when she
- 36:43Speaker 6: she put on them us, I said, now we're doing
- 36:46Speaker 6: killing you. I said, you can't go.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Somebody gonna see you.
- 36:50Speaker 6: What's talking about usbody?
- 36:57Speaker 2: You gotta be thinking.
- 36:58Speaker 6: I'm like, I see she took him off. You got
- 37:04Speaker 6: things twice, Yes, took them off. Appreciate that.
- 37:08Speaker 5: Trip responsibly, not responsible that the next one.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Part that baby girl, watch that Jemmy Curb. None of
- 37:20Speaker 6: that West So, none of that. None of that's nasty
- 37:23Speaker 6: out here. If you got them walls all, you're gonna
- 37:25Speaker 6: slide down the street. Don't go yeah bowling alley boy,
- 37:29Speaker 6: you're gonna chill out.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Not with the crypto so he's integrated vertically because I
- 37:34Speaker 4: know you said that also you could use it for
- 37:36Speaker 4: the quarantine studios too, right, so.
- 37:38Speaker 8: Right now to actually acquire crypto, we acquired a capital coin.
- 37:42Speaker 8: What we've been doing is every Monday, I have like
- 37:48Speaker 8: these launch parties where we talk about crypto and people
- 37:52Speaker 8: that people ask me questions, like you know, actually on
- 37:55Speaker 8: the zapp life space and they have a space that's
- 37:58Speaker 8: like entertaining space similar to Zoom where multiple people would
- 38:01Speaker 8: come on and we talked back and forth about caple coin,
- 38:04Speaker 8: what it means, what I'm trying to do with it,
- 38:05Speaker 8: people ask me questions, and then you know, it's packages
- 38:08Speaker 8: that people to buy to acquire.
- 38:09Speaker 6: The coin insertaneously during that event.
- 38:13Speaker 8: And then right now, if you have Ethereum, you could
- 38:16Speaker 8: actually go and purchase the capital coin straight with the
- 38:19Speaker 8: Ethereum and then in the future and in near future
- 38:22Speaker 8: you'll be able to purchase the capal coin with your
- 38:25Speaker 8: credit card.
- 38:26Speaker 6: So zap theory is the only place you can get it, yes,
- 38:29Speaker 6: right now.
- 38:29Speaker 8: That theory platform, but it's on the Theoryum based so yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 8: it's and it's that currently had a set right now,
- 38:35Speaker 8: which I'm pretty hyped for because a cent is a
- 38:38Speaker 8: cent depending is.
- 38:39Speaker 3: We've we've seen a lot of these some of these
- 38:41Speaker 3: coins less than dependent.
- 38:42Speaker 5: YESO, we had, we had a penny.
- 38:46Speaker 8: And I want to say I sold through these events
- 38:50Speaker 8: maybe like forty thousand dollars in capital coin so far.
- 38:53Speaker 8: So I'm just trying to keep it organically for right now,
- 38:55Speaker 8: and it's getting people involved and let them understand what
- 38:59Speaker 8: I'm trying to do.
- 38:59Speaker 6: And you know, I got a lot of fans. I
- 39:01Speaker 6: got my own little equal system.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, And I'm thinking like now, like if you
- 39:09Speaker 3: can start integrated into some of these larger platforms at
- 39:11Speaker 3: Gemini or Cracking or even.
- 39:14Speaker 8: So what we played on doing is at least at
- 39:18Speaker 8: least selling more than half of the coins before we
- 39:22Speaker 8: actually start to get involved with these other platforms.
- 39:26Speaker 10: You gotta circulate how many how many supply? You know,
- 39:29Speaker 10: that's the next question. A million, a hundred million, This
- 39:34Speaker 10: is a functioning. Yeah, I get please, please please please do.
- 39:40Speaker 8: On Monday, we got the next seminar, so you get
- 39:42Speaker 8: your tapping and make sure poem gets your tapped in
- 39:44Speaker 8: so you could just come on. I would love for
- 39:45Speaker 8: you all to speak because people just asking questions in
- 39:48Speaker 8: general and things like that. And I'm not the smartest person.
- 39:51Speaker 8: I know a lot about nothing, so I kind of
- 39:54Speaker 8: can finesse my way through some things. You know what
- 39:56Speaker 8: I mean about the sneakers, sneaker store, how you get
- 40:00Speaker 8: GBS New Friends little Bucks twelve years ago. Thirteen years
- 40:04Speaker 8: ago introduced me to G's. You have to colisee him,
- 40:08Speaker 8: Indian kid. They seeks young kid. Just love his energy
- 40:12Speaker 8: and our relationship grew into a brotherhood and been helping
- 40:15Speaker 8: him and his family with the sneaker stores for them
- 40:17Speaker 8: for the whole time. So you know, when it comes
- 40:19Speaker 8: to that, I have revested into in that whole sneaker industry.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Definitely, definitely, And that's another thing I think, Fat.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Joe, it's a different level, but I would I would
- 40:30Speaker 3: challenge anybody against your sneaker collection.
- 40:33Speaker 6: It's different. I watched when you went through the boxes.
- 40:36Speaker 6: I'm like, he's just gonna throw those like it's nothing
- 40:38Speaker 6: like I mean, I don't really care about sneakers, even
- 40:42Speaker 6: though I love sneakers, that.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I'm like throwing them.
- 40:46Speaker 8: Like I like to wear new sneakers every time I
- 40:50Speaker 8: come outside. That's always been my thing since the youngest,
- 40:52Speaker 8: Just watching my uncles coming up, hustling and staying fly.
- 40:55Speaker 8: So sneakers is always like a pet peeve to me.
- 40:57Speaker 8: But the best thing about is that I don't give
- 41:00Speaker 8: a fuck a bottom at.
- 41:01Speaker 6: All period, Like the cool just sneakers, that's it.
- 41:11Speaker 5: That's a fact.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Let me ask you this, So, how did you who
- 41:16Speaker 4: gave you the business acumen? Like as far as like
- 41:17Speaker 4: the business strut? Like how did you learn all this stuff?
- 41:19Speaker 4: Like you you know, you got the crypto, you got
- 41:21Speaker 4: all this different stuff?
- 41:23Speaker 5: Who you follow?
- 41:24Speaker 6: Like who was your mentor?
- 41:25Speaker 4: Who was the people that actually you said, Okay, this
- 41:28Speaker 4: is how you move, this is how you get a company?
- 41:30Speaker 6: Or did you just learning on your own mistakes? Mistakes?
- 41:32Speaker 6: Is my mentor that waller kept crashing into you?
- 41:37Speaker 8: Did the games to be sold and are told So
- 41:39Speaker 8: these people don't tell you shit, and they advice don't
- 41:41Speaker 8: be worth a shit neither. It's hard to take advice
- 41:44Speaker 8: for a nigga that never know where you going and
- 41:46Speaker 8: never been to any place that you've been to. You
- 41:49Speaker 8: did so a lot of the lessons I've learned was
- 41:51Speaker 8: by making terrible mistakes, of making wrong decisions, and with
- 41:57Speaker 8: all that knowledge from learning learning of my mistakes is
- 42:01Speaker 8: what got me here. Plus I'm pretty good with common sense.
- 42:04Speaker 8: It's a lot of people lack common sense.
- 42:06Speaker 6: They think they have it, but they really like it.
- 42:08Speaker 5: Common sense not common for real. That's a fact.
- 42:11Speaker 6: Can we talk about this moment in history?
- 42:14Speaker 3: And I know it was one of the biggest stories
- 42:16Speaker 3: that you posted earlier on before we even had hery
- 42:18Speaker 3: a Leisure and that was the infamous Supreme story about
- 42:24Speaker 3: your impact on Supreme and I don't I mean, I
- 42:28Speaker 3: don't know if there was compensation, but y'all definitely was.
- 42:30Speaker 3: I mean, for me, it was the first that I
- 42:32Speaker 3: had ever seen it and just took it. And I
- 42:36Speaker 3: saw you posted the other day for his birthday, like yo,
- 42:39Speaker 3: they owe us, and it was like, oh my gosh.
- 42:41Speaker 3: But it's not just Supreme. I feel like even Cromhart's
- 42:44Speaker 3: Like I saw you guys start that and.
- 42:47Speaker 6: Then Lil Wayne took it. I know it was it.
- 42:50Speaker 6: That ship really means anything to me?
- 42:52Speaker 8: Who am to be like tell the person all you
- 42:54Speaker 8: owe me because the warrior shit And I'm just a
- 42:55Speaker 8: fly nigga like that, you know what I mean? Like
- 42:57Speaker 8: Chrome Mawson asked me to come in this store and
- 43:00Speaker 8: buying another expensive shiit. I came in there because I
- 43:02Speaker 8: was on my rock and roll shit and I like
- 43:04Speaker 8: to get fly. Say, like Supreme, they had a bag,
- 43:06Speaker 8: they paid us a bag.
- 43:07Speaker 6: They did their job. Y'all want to take a picture
- 43:09Speaker 6: for us here? You know.
- 43:10Speaker 8: The fuck with Supreme was I got that money and
- 43:12Speaker 8: bust the move out of there. You see, my head
- 43:13Speaker 8: was nappy. They didn't give a Fuckings Colas on the
- 43:16Speaker 8: phone and gave a T shirt and had they like
- 43:17Speaker 8: just take a picture like that cool with a bag
- 43:19Speaker 8: app we out, So they did and they did the
- 43:21Speaker 8: end of the day, we had just like talking shit
- 43:23Speaker 8: because I know the type of influence that we did
- 43:25Speaker 8: give them. I know what we did push them to.
- 43:27Speaker 8: And that's another thing with the culture. Like what I'm
- 43:29Speaker 8: saying is just like we pushed Supreme, we have yet
- 43:32Speaker 8: to really push ourselves to those type the type of level.
- 43:36Speaker 8: I won't say that like we've definitely we've definitely pushed Virgil.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Yes, we pushed that Virgil to the top of the format.
- 43:45Speaker 8: When it comes to I would say he's one of
- 43:48Speaker 8: the black people that we did support when it came he's.
- 43:50Speaker 5: Kind of he's he's kind of like removed himself from
- 43:54Speaker 5: that culture though, like it's.
- 43:58Speaker 6: But it's still black.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Yeah, no this but like even like Christian lu Baton
- 44:02Speaker 5: it God's black. He is black, is he? Yeah? You
- 44:06Speaker 5: would he from Frances black. But it's not like considered urban.
- 44:13Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying.
- 44:14Speaker 3: I think virgils On he's on that line of urban
- 44:17Speaker 3: what is considered urban?
- 44:18Speaker 2: Boys, We didn't, we didn't.
- 44:19Speaker 6: We didn't go to the Gap back in the eighties
- 44:21Speaker 6: because it was urban, you know.
- 44:23Speaker 5: What I'm saying. Like you know when Rockawear, I know, but.
- 44:27Speaker 8: You're not listening to see Rockawear made money off off
- 44:29Speaker 8: off of creating the look that they thought hip hop
- 44:32Speaker 8: looked at.
- 44:33Speaker 6: We didn't wear that ship.
- 44:34Speaker 8: I never wore a rocker wear at all, because that's
- 44:36Speaker 8: not I'm not from the middle of the country.
- 44:38Speaker 6: I'm from New York. I'm going to buy the ship
- 44:41Speaker 6: that Rockawear was emulating.
- 44:43Speaker 8: You heard, I'm going to buy the real ape wrecks,
- 44:45Speaker 8: going to go buy the real Parasuko jeans. I'm going
- 44:48Speaker 8: to go buy the Anie sweats from the Villa Joint.
- 44:51Speaker 8: I'm going to buy go buy the real elements that

- 50:04Speaker 8: in the song and John. They took that error made
- 50:06Speaker 8: it into Rockaway. They took that error and made it
- 50:08Speaker 8: into football. Because the white people loved hip hop so much,
- 50:10Speaker 8: they was gonna buy all those clothes period down.
- 50:13Speaker 5: So yeah, damn and the.
- 50:20Speaker 6: Okay, when when did this? When did this start? In

- 50:58Speaker 8: thing and look drippy in?
- 50:59Speaker 6: So then that spending back to Virgil.
- 51:00Speaker 8: Now he's in Virgil's doing the same thing when he

- 51:22Speaker 8: it ships covered the.
- 51:23Speaker 5: Bull he didn album with him and Drake when they
- 51:27Speaker 5: had that.
- 51:28Speaker 6: When you have the.
- 51:29Speaker 8: Influence and the success, then what you do what the
- 51:31Speaker 8: fuck you want to do because you're the leader, and
- 51:34Speaker 8: once you're the leader, people are gonna fire.
- 51:37Speaker 6: I forgot true religion. Yeah, played a part in that too.
- 51:39Speaker 6: I made true religion. I didn't play a part in that.
- 51:41Speaker 8: I made true ligion until they told me that there
- 51:43Speaker 8: was only going to send me free jeens and not
- 51:44Speaker 8: a check.
- 51:45Speaker 6: And that was when true religion was over. Remember that
- 51:48Speaker 6: the culture I come, tell me, I'm gonna get you
- 51:51Speaker 6: two teams couldn't save true religion.
- 51:53Speaker 8: When I said it was over for true religions, remember that,
- 51:56Speaker 8: and this whole ship was built on true religion.
- 51:57Speaker 6: It's a dog.
- 51:58Speaker 8: We ain't wearing that no more. They ain't fucking with
- 52:01Speaker 8: us the same way. Jay was like Crystal w You

- 52:09Speaker 8: You'll send you some free jeans. Oh you got me
- 52:11Speaker 8: fucked up. Well, guess what you ain't gonna do. You
- 52:13Speaker 8: ain't gonna be.
- 52:14Speaker 6: Part of hip hop no more. True ling is out
- 52:16Speaker 6: of here. Sell them in Macy's. That's fact. That's fact.
- 52:22Speaker 8: The only thing I bought Macy's is underwear. You heard
- 52:25Speaker 8: Polo teas ship like that and the big at the
- 52:28Speaker 8: polo section. You definitely go to Mason's and get a
- 52:32Speaker 8: polo fit.
- 52:32Speaker 6: Honey. They got the real polo section here. You definitely
- 52:35Speaker 6: could always go to Mason's for a good polo fit.
- 52:37Speaker 8: But don't be started wondering a round to all these
- 52:39Speaker 8: like I catch you with Maxi's and you boy, to
- 52:41Speaker 8: catch you in.
- 52:42Speaker 6: American you do something slip like boy, boy, wasn't that

- 53:06Speaker 5: Spicy spicy? Oh man, so let's we.
- 53:17Speaker 6: Got way so far.
- 53:20Speaker 9: We I was like, okay, it was really what the
- 53:24Speaker 9: is in this? Really a finer find an energy? Shout
- 53:32Speaker 9: to Jerry Rice Man.
- 53:33Speaker 5: Jerry Rice the greatest football player of all time?
- 53:35Speaker 6: I said that, bro the greatest. I said, he's the greatest.
- 53:38Speaker 6: I can't argue with your football. I got a few
- 53:40Speaker 6: football players. I like, you can't. I'm not really the
- 53:43Speaker 6: biggest football fan.
- 53:44Speaker 8: I'm like, I'm like when the Giants wanted the last
- 53:47Speaker 8: time on balling was out and before that one man
- 53:48Speaker 8: sims Want wanted like an eighties. Yeah, that's one of
- 53:53Speaker 8: my personal friends right now. You know, shouts sim shouts,
- 53:56Speaker 8: and his son's all, okay.
- 53:58Speaker 6: Yeah, eighty eight, eighty six, eighty six to ninety they
- 54:03Speaker 6: beat the Bills.
- 54:04Speaker 12: But you're part owner of the Richmond Rough rough Riders. Yeah,
- 54:08Speaker 12: how did that come a Look, he's just being I'm
- 54:12Speaker 12: trying to do something I would see, all right, So
- 54:14Speaker 12: his his.
- 54:15Speaker 8: I think I got a chance to perform at a
- 54:18Speaker 8: super Bowl at the what they call them them teams
- 54:23Speaker 8: Arena football.
- 54:24Speaker 6: We went there and we performed. I'm in there.
- 54:26Speaker 8: That ship is crowded. I'm like, damn, like ten thousand
- 54:29Speaker 8: people going on for this. Yoo, what's up with this ship?
- 54:32Speaker 8: Tell the niggas we want and I don't want no
- 54:33Speaker 8: fucking money, telling them to keep that money in.
- 54:35Speaker 6: I want ownership and this ship.
- 54:37Speaker 8: So my thing is now, these stadiums could could make
- 54:42Speaker 8: half a million dollars a day just on ticket salon
- 54:44Speaker 8: on a Saturday in a daytime when rappers just waking up.
- 54:48Speaker 6: So in my mind, I'm like, and I told this
- 54:50Speaker 6: to plenty of rappers.
- 54:51Speaker 8: I'm like, yo, I could get you all the team,
- 54:53Speaker 8: all the rappers get an arena football team. Then your
- 54:55Speaker 8: niggas could take up and come twice a year do
- 54:58Speaker 8: a halftime show, make like four one hundred thousand dollars
- 55:01Speaker 8: off the attendants alone. That ain't got nothing to do
- 55:03Speaker 8: with pretzels in sprite. And you know what I mean,
- 55:06Speaker 8: You're owner of a real team, and we really could
- 55:08Speaker 8: create our own thing when it comes to the culture
- 55:11Speaker 8: and now having arena football teams that we I would
- 55:14Speaker 8: love to go see Meek.
- 55:16Speaker 6: Mill playing futures team.
- 55:17Speaker 8: That shit gonna be lit in that stadium, especially if
- 55:20Speaker 8: they know making them coming to coach and.
- 55:22Speaker 13: I'm like, nah, I'm in there.
- 55:23Speaker 2: I'm in there.
- 55:23Speaker 6: I know half time gonna be dumb. So this is
- 55:26Speaker 6: this is how my bringing things and shit like that.
- 55:28Speaker 8: But you know, everybody, one thing I've learned is that
- 55:31Speaker 8: the things that I want to happen is not what
- 55:33Speaker 8: you might not want to happen.
- 55:34Speaker 6: And I have to learn that a lot in life
- 55:35Speaker 6: and shit like that.
- 55:36Speaker 8: As brilliant as I might see, all the dopest ideas
- 55:38Speaker 8: I might see and shit like that, sometimes it's not
- 55:40Speaker 8: gonna work when it doesn't have to. When it's not
- 55:42Speaker 8: me it's the principal to push them.
- 55:44Speaker 6: I would always tell my homies, but ain't nobody listen.
- 55:48Speaker 5: Yeah, everybody doesn't see the vision.
- 55:51Speaker 6: That's it. That's it. That would be dope.
- 55:53Speaker 3: And I'm listening to you saying, I'm like, yeah, why
- 55:55Speaker 3: couldn't they do that? Like people are gonna arena football
- 55:59Speaker 3: is big and they have like a they have their
- 56:00Speaker 3: own Super Bowl situations.
- 56:04Speaker 8: Yeah, now niggas getting lit, niggas getting fresh, the roses
- 56:09Speaker 8: pulling up niggas is now something to do on a
- 56:11Speaker 8: Saturday because niggas ain't got nothing to do anymore.
- 56:13Speaker 5: You know, you know, it would be a really good idea.
- 56:15Speaker 5: Is summer league tournament?
- 56:18Speaker 4: Like that's like you know how I Crew got the
- 56:20Speaker 4: three on three, but like a summer league in the
- 56:22Speaker 4: park with each rapper having your.
- 56:25Speaker 6: Own you actually have a I think they have. I
- 56:27Speaker 6: have like a league right now like that.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Revolt Rappers Cruly Cruly, Yeah, but they actually watch it,
- 56:35Speaker 4: but they're actually terrible.
- 56:37Speaker 5: It's like eight foot rims.
- 56:40Speaker 6: If it goes MS, I'm in, like, he's actually in
- 56:49Speaker 6: the league. How to play?
- 56:51Speaker 8: We could like thirty five or two changes at the
- 56:54Speaker 8: at the at the at the the dip said t
- 56:58Speaker 8: R you game a few years back. They but like
- 57:00Speaker 8: three points, you go thirty five? Yeah, that's two change.
- 57:03Speaker 8: I went crazy on them in the second.
- 57:06Speaker 5: Looking like.
- 57:08Speaker 6: I want crazy on them in the second half.
- 57:10Speaker 8: Me and my man don Nity Done. Nedny got in
- 57:12Speaker 8: the game and went wild with me. I said, oh yeah,
- 57:14Speaker 8: we turn it up. Hey, yeah from Harlem Boy. You know.
- 57:22Speaker 2: When you talk with the boy exactly.
- 57:26Speaker 6: Time, me go all we missed that this summer. Oh boy?
- 57:29Speaker 5: Yeah, hopefully hopefully thank when open back up this summer.
- 57:32Speaker 6: So, uh, Saucy Extracts, right, what's your involvement?
- 57:36Speaker 8: Saucy Extract has roughly been around going on, I want
- 57:39Speaker 8: to say going on five years. It took about two
- 57:43Speaker 8: years and some change to get all the legal stuff
- 57:46Speaker 8: done and then we've been in operation for about two
- 57:50Speaker 8: and a half years. Well actually in like was it
- 57:53Speaker 8: two hundred stores, you know, two hundred dispensaries in California
- 57:56Speaker 8: and then we're legal with California and Oregon.
- 58:00Speaker 6: So you do owner, you're the co owner or the
- 58:02Speaker 6: owner of the partner. Oh yeah, so yeah, I'm not
- 58:05Speaker 6: an ambassador the only way, but I got some dope
- 58:09Speaker 6: best partnershops, Tom the Man, Alex PAULI if you're going
- 58:12Speaker 6: to stide it's all you something like this must be
- 58:14Speaker 6: his No, No, it's a part. It's a part of ship.
- 58:16Speaker 6: But I'm grateful to be a partner in something such
- 58:18Speaker 6: as it's such as this business very lucrative.
- 58:22Speaker 4: So we was talking to Al Harrington and he was
- 58:24Speaker 4: he was putting us up on game. Obviously he's huge
- 58:27Speaker 4: in the space, and he was saying how tough it
- 58:29Speaker 4: is to get It's like one percent of ownership is
- 58:34Speaker 4: black in the marijuana business, and it's all kinds of
- 58:37Speaker 4: like loopholes. Like in New York, I think you got
- 58:39Speaker 4: to have like a farming license for twenty It's just crazy.
- 58:42Speaker 4: It was twenty five million dollars of capital. So how
- 58:46Speaker 4: is your experience? Like, getting up and running into marijuana
- 58:49Speaker 4: was hard.
- 58:49Speaker 6: I was glessed. I didn't have to do nothing but
- 58:51Speaker 6: be who I am. Mm hmm big.
- 58:54Speaker 8: I'm an opinion leader in this game when it comes
- 58:57Speaker 8: to smoking weed, and that's been like that for years.
- 59:00Speaker 6: Look at the Wheeze, Whisky, Leafer Snoop Dogg. Think about
- 59:04Speaker 6: niggas that's smoking New York or the East Coast. You
- 59:06Speaker 6: wanna say Jim Jones and that's that I've been smoking
- 59:11Speaker 6: gas for half my life kind of sort exactly.
- 59:18Speaker 5: The finer, the finer things like oh yo, I.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Told my man. I was like, yeah, we got chim coming.
- 59:25Speaker 6: He was like yo, right. He was like, I'm like,
- 59:29Speaker 6: oh man, this is it right here, let's sac. He said,
- 59:34Speaker 6: you have the rito back. He didn't bring me the
- 59:36Speaker 6: rito back.
- 59:37Speaker 5: So there you have it.
- 59:39Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, Yeah, smoke all know.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Some people, people you know, you know, tell them that's
- 59:49Speaker 2: good for me.
- 59:50Speaker 6: Some people.
- 59:54Speaker 5: This guy is crazy.
- 59:57Speaker 4: So now it's It's interesting though, because I put a
- 59:59Speaker 4: post up to today and I said, we selling. We
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: went from a felony to an essential business during COVID nineteen.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: But there's still thousands of people that's locked up in jail.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Especially like something like forty thousand people like that.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: I don't want to quote the world, but I'm almost
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: sure something around those numbers. Yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: So, I mean, how you know you're you're a black
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: entrepreneur in the space, like you said, you're used fortunate,
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: but there's still a lot of people that still can't
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: get in this space. And there's still a lot of
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: people that's locked up from marijuana. And like I said,
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: it's literally the central business now. So what's your thoughts
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: on the marijuana industry as far as like inclusion.
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: For what, we need to free everybody who's locked up
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: on the eight right now, they need to come home.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: And I know there's a lot of things that's going
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: on where they've been freeing a lot of people who's
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: still locked up for these bullshit charges at this point.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: For two, what the government has been doing, especially in California,
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: they have these equity programs for.
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: For some people that's been locked up. They get given
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: the opportunity to come out and start a marijuana business,
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: which is dope. But what they don't tell you is
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: that to start a marijuana biness is still a costly thing.
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: So even if you are awarded this equity program, you're
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: still going to need financial backing so that you can
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: open up a store or dispensary so that you know
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: what I mean, your licensed work something so you make
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: some money on it. But the fact that they started
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: with the equity program to give people who's been convicted
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: of these crimes in marijuana or now allow them to
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: do business in the legal marijuana space, it's dope.
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: You've got a couple of.
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: Kinks they need to wrinkle out and things like that.
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: But I think they need to add that to every
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: state that legalizes the sale of marijuana for starters. I
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: think that's the least they could do. And I mean,
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: besides freeing everybody that's locked up because of the tree.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: What do you think if you, like we in quarantine
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: were still in quarantine and most musicians make a lot
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: of money off touring, how do you feel about the
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: future of touring? Like, because I think who's who had
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: that virtual concert? Tory Lanez on YouTube.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Toy Lane, a few people.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: He did it on the video game that Boogie did
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: one for YouTube. What do you think you think that's
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: the new wave?
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: Boy?
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: You think some people it was like there's nothing like
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: in person experience. They got to get back to that
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: pretty much.
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: They building a space where we could virtually do anything
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: we want to, including concerts.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: So whatever ideas we have and so exactly, and so
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: I'm we're on target.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: I mean, the back end was the biggest money we
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: can make as an artist. It was the most lucrative
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: money we can make, and in the midst of the pandemic,
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: we lost that. So there was a lot of artists
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: that's been panicking, and I know that still a lot
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: of artists that are panicking because it still hasn't come
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: back to what we know what to be. This is
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: why Quarantine Studios were created, not out of a panic,
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: but out of a hustleer's mind. That listen, I'm not
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: used to not getting no money and I like the
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: LIFs I like living, So let me figure out how
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: to use my artistry to make a buck I use
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: my artists you used to make a bucket, not being
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: selfish with myself, and I mean even selling two balls
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: to sixteen bars to anything in between has mainly a
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: substantial amount of money.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: And from then I took that model and I.
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: Invited of for artist, DJs and rappers to help them
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: make the same type of money that I was making
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: from the business model that I chose and things like that.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: So you gotta be creative out here. I mean shit,
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: because one door closes, what you that's it? You're gonna leave.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: Fuck that, I'm gonna get on the fire escape on
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: climbing the window and go to the back door. Everything
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: gotta be.
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: You gotta be no more options for me to say
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: that I'm quitting or I'm leaving you did.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: There's nowhere around that.
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: So for artists who feel that they stuck, you gotta
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: think outside the box. And if you don't know how
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: to do that, you better figure it out.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Fact period. And when you want to go to that concert,
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: you're gonna use a capo porin one hundred percent, big fact,
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: one hundred percent. So now I'm putting out an EP
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: as an NFT. Oh we just said that. We just
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: said that, And mostly want to.
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: Put out an album that you only could buy with
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: the capital coin two different things.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: Breaking news alert.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: We got to get the e Y L n f T.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, just take it.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Yeah, just to do it because I'm thinking when you
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: when I'm I was thinking about the supreme picture, I'm like,
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: that could be an NFT in itself.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: That that is. Remember we had this conversation. Now the
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: NFT thing is a real thing. It's a real thing,
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: and then that thing will go viral.
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: We gotta do us headsh us pause, gotta do kind
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: of a space where you can create anything you want.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: Just gotta be you know what people want, what people
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: might be into.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: Valuable.
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: Yes, there's a lot of value and a lot of
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: things that are around you, if you have the.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: Influence, especially I feel like somebody like Jim you know
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: the whole some people transcend music and like we have
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: this debate all the time, like who's the biggest group
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: in New York dip set?
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: Well, yeah, so you can't say what Yeah, that's always
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: in the oh yeah, no debate the biggest group? Well
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: shall we debate?
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: No, here's what.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: Here's what I'm going What we're talking about the group.
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: Statistically or no, no, no, I'm saying this.
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: Let's do it, let's do it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: We're here all right.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: Where we selling music and lifestyle.
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: So it's like who you want to be like or
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: who you want to listen to? Which one is more important?
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: Unless I said, because he could be like me and
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: still listen to that other music. That's what that National
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: dip set was. You heard you dressing like dipset and
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: you was listening to g Unit. There's no way around it.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: So you was listening to to dip set to because
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: at the time I understand.
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: But what I'm trying to tell you is yeah, no, no, no,
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: thinks was not dressing like g Unit.
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: No, you're not convinced me I was there.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: I was when I was some dudes were rocking that
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: crazy tang that joint was.
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: They were dubbs, straight doves, dude rocking crowd niggas was
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: not rock tank you had.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: That tangle was terrible.
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: Might not to say like that ship was dope becau.
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: They made a shipload of money over what I'm saying about.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: No, no, no, cultural, That's what I'm saying.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: They transcend music because it was like at that time,
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: I was in prep school in Florida and when that
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: album came out, and uh, that was the same time
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: when fifty first came out. So it's no denying fifties
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: influence as far as music and his influencing rap. But
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: the movement of dipset different, transcended music different. It was
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: like even to this day, people still dress up as
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: them for Halloween every year. It's one of these things
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: where it became a cultural you know what I'm saying.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: It's different, No, it's different. It's bigger than like even
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: like obviously you know hometown hero shout out to Styles
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: and Kiss Musically, I don't think anybody it's really nobody.
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: Jada Kiss is one of the greatest rappers.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: Of all time fact, hands down, hands down, But I
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: mean cultural influence differently, not really the same, no disrespect,
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: it's it's not the same. So I say, I have
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: to say the NFT thing like they got a bunch
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: of stuff where I feel like like Santana's Ben Dana
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: thing like that's a NFT, like you know what I'm saying,
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: the pink thing, like you know what I'm saying. There's
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: so much stuff, the chains and was wearing the chains
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: on the jeans, There's so much stuff that I feel
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: like are like memorabilia.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: Cultural moments.
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: That's just I could just live.
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: But you say the greatest group period, Yeah, who's greatest?
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: My favorite was n w A. That was mean considered
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: the group is a super Nah that's a super creup.
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: You really can't say Wu Tang.
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: Is a croup. But but once again it was the
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: music I didn't just like.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: We can't do that.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Clocks Ghost and Ray the clock Ghost, Ghost and Ray
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: the Cobody just like ghost.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Face, but nobody dressed like Ray Kwan. Now they had
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: they had a game Snow Snow.
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: Let me tell you to tell you something about only
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: niggas That Rock Wallabies was nostalgic niggas from the b
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: boy Age when he started talking about Wallabies at that
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: point in time.
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: I'm telling you one from Harlem.
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: Niggas wasn't rocking Wallabies in ninety five, and that's when
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: the Wu tangle was hitting the marble pink dripping the
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: flyers lingo ever can't out talk ghost face for nothing.
- 1:08:36Speaker 8: Was niggas wearing marble pink dripping uptown the fun somebody
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: to do it.
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: You couldn't buy that. It didn't matter. We wasn't buying
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: not one clock nothing Uptown different though Harlem is different.
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: Clocks was more of a Jamaican thing. I don't care what.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: That's.
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: That's a Queen a Queens Long Island thing because that
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: was heavy Ja making influence in Queens and Long Island
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: in the eighties. I'm telling you I cousin had big
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: Wallabees and sky Blue Peachy, all of them. He's from
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: Long Island himstad like you did, like I dig it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: But when it comes to the history of style and culture,
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: it's kind of hard to talk to me.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Right up there, right up there, I'm just talking about
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: the game.
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: You're without diplomat with move removed diplomat.
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: I understand this ship from every group that moved around,
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: from the way they dressed to what they pushed and
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: who they were. Niggas want to be rock Kim more
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: than they wanted to be Big Daddy King. But niggas
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: want to sing Big Daddy King ship all day. Nigga
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: or rock Kim was vicious Nigga different. Niggas want to.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Dress like Rack.
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: I don't kid and Big Daddy had flaship, but niggas
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: wanted that for lost shit with the Knights. I was
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: a fiend teen before nigga.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: Niggas want to dress like Rock period period.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Niggas want to dress like Grandpool.
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: Bap Nas was a poster boy for getting fly Helly
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: had his army has to decide.
- 1:10:07Speaker 13: Jungle hats j No, no no, he was waiting, did
- 1:10:13Speaker 13: forsachi everything he did, the button up situation.
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: My real stylistic niggas J is j He's an influencer,
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: He's a famous dude, but he's not the flyest dude
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: with There's a lot of fly ship, but niggas did
- 1:10:30Speaker 8: not want to dress like Jay you did when dressers
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: win Ja was wearing Iceberg and all that type of ship.
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: That was kind of a Harlem thing you heard like
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: remember that, boy, Like watch the history of.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: How niggas getting flushed crazy, like I'm gonna break it
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: off down.
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: And then you can actually say, gentlemen, how they feel
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: about it, because I know who all the stylistic people
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: and who which people was following who back in the
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: day you heard M see Ricky d was dope as fuck,
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: But niggas wouldn't want to dress like mc ricky drecky.
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: Do you hurt?
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: And we could go forth and go forth.

- 1:11:08Speaker 6: That's twenty. I still want more and I still want

- 1:11:17Speaker 8: on for the heavy niggas and got crazy with it.
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: Nobody could take taking away from the b I G.
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: Somebody put them in the clothes. It's different. Are they
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: dressing themselves or they got a style. It really don't
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: matter because when you come on from camera, you looking
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: we got we gotta throw you in it.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Get fat Joe, get fly what. I don't know.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: I don't know if people like that. Second, I don't
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: think nobody was dressing.

- 1:14:42Speaker 6: They was doing that mohawks, they were doing all types.
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: Little Wayne too. They was all thought at them.
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: Yeah, we can't say Way without them, No.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: I know, but I'm just saying Wayne, there's no young
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: thug without Little Wayne.
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: There's not a heart a bunch of these littles. But
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: nobody want to dress like Little Wayne. They do want
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: to dress like young Thug. Though Little Way he was
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: dressing like us. Young Doug got a whole generation.
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: Of kids follow him.
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: One hundred one hundred percent. He's the only one that
- 1:15:07Speaker 8: could get away with. He get away with and sell
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: them type of records that he sell. That young man
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: is a rich, stylish motherfucker he did.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: You got to understand what he's.
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: But he scaled the back, he said. He said, the
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: most gangster ship ever. That he said. He scaled everything
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: back because everything he did was a calculation.
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: But his son didn't understand what he was doing, and
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: that made him scale everything back to so his son
- 1:15:37Speaker 8: to understand.
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: He got confused.
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: Yeah, but what about other kids, people's son that didn't listen.
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: That's not his responsibility. His son is his responsibility.
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: And by him being responsible to understand what he needed
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: to do for his son, you could see that on
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: camera for other people to understand how he skilled.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: Are you put in this category to him and thug
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: to they wearing women's clothes because they said they bought
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: all the men's close Listen, I don't.
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: Like UZI my man, I like down and had this crazy.
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: That's a whole nother way. I don't know where he
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: went with it. He's on super futuristic board. Actually, I've
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: seen a lot of niggas bought with money. But that
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: was the stupidest boredom that I've seen in a wild.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: He was Joe. He told he said he would have
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: put it in the ring, but he knew it would
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: have lost it.
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: See if you if he pressed that ship, if he
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: pressed it, and then the car would.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Have pulled you pressed this ship like.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: Listen, man his own though.
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: We had a point in and and and this rap
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: and this rap business with some of these artists are
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: making so much money there possibility fuck it. Whatever we
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: got going on, shout out to them, because I would
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: say young Thug and little Uzzi pretty much all the
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: leaders of the new generation.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: Travis Scott.
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: Travis Scott, Yes you did.
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: But what I mean by is like in the is
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: a million of them that's successful under them, but they
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: all all.
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: That trio right there.
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: These kids go crazy for like they're like, oh my
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: ship is like and I had to learn how to music.
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: Or the stuff.
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: I believe for both both put my baby in there too,
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: o Little babies the baby too little baby.
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: Both both little baby.
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: That's my guy influenc of the year to me. But
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: it's a different influence than a young dog and little
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: baby is a dope blow influencer that's always going to
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: hit inside our culture. He represents the nostalgic music and
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: the future music of the niggas that like to together.
- 1:17:44Speaker 8: He's represents the new music that took over when it
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: came to streaming and independent music that started making so
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: much money. These label started to start giving out these
- 1:17:54Speaker 8: big checks. New artists coming out of nowhere because they
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: learned how to monetize. They own money from the streams.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: That's a fact.
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: You are.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: You still an an R in my own mind, okay,
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: but you were at right what Warner.
- 1:18:07Speaker 6: Warner Brothers uh ink over there as an A and
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: R director, So I pretty much was everybody's boss. It
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: was like Leo and Kevin Lows and Jim Jones, like,
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: what is.
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: What is the A and R?
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: What do you bullshit titles? That's what we thought bullshit titles?
- 1:18:26Speaker 8: Is somebody that that listens to music and gives his
- 1:18:29Speaker 8: opinion on if that ship is dope or not?
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: Did you bring any artists over there when you wear
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: A and R? Did you wear a cotch at? But
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: I remember one well. I have. I helped a lot
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: of like curated music, but the one artist I was.
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: Trying to get was Rick Ross at the time, and
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: I remember Rick Ross one of a million dollars when
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: he came out with I think it was every day
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: of hustling when it was just in the street. You know,
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: I told Kevin Lows, you you need to sign this kid,
- 1:18:52Speaker 8: Rick Ross because def Jam is about to give him
- 1:18:54Speaker 8: a milty Like I'm not giving them a million dollars.
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: I'm like, no, you need to, Like this is what
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: you're hired me for. This kid is on fire, like
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: you can't understand and they missed that both.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: How you gauge talent, Like, there's so many people that wrap,
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: so many people that have talent. How you know somebody
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: is gonna be you know, you never really know, but like.
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: Twenty seconds, let me hear their music, give me thirty
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: seconds with their.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: Music, and give me five minutes with them in the
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: room when I can tell you if they're gonna be
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: a star.
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: But they just gonna be good at doing music.
- 1:19:22Speaker 5: So what's what's some characteristics that somebody makes somebody stuff
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: in factor?
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: Yeah, when a person walks in the room, and it
- 1:19:34Speaker 8: depends on the type of attention they come in, like
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: the aura energy the person has that energy you become
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: a fan in sstantaneously, like Damn, I like this nigga energy.
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Let me get that nigga no I needed like you
- 1:19:49Speaker 8: just you know a nigga energy that Oh he gonna go,
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: he's gonna he's gonna go with it. There's a lot
- 1:19:53Speaker 8: of things from selling, from selling lifestyle to the music,
- 1:19:56Speaker 8: but the music is the most important component before artists
- 1:19:58Speaker 8: becomes an artist. If you don't have the power in
- 1:20:00Speaker 8: that music to make me want to figure out what
- 1:20:02Speaker 8: the rest of you is about, then you're a dub
- 1:20:04Speaker 8: from the get go.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: You think music is more important than the intent, Like
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: I feel like now to all the stuff that's more
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: important than music.
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: Still need the music, still need to be heard for
- 1:20:12Speaker 6: people to want to know who you are.
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: But do you have You don't really have to be good,
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: you don't.
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: You just need to run the numbers up, that's it.
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: But you still need the music un the numbers up.
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: You need the music to run the numbers up.
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: Right now, you can't get signed at any label if
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: your numbers are not of adequate numbers that the label
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: feel that.
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: You should have. Imagine how talented you are. And that's
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: the fuck the part that's going on in this industry.
- 1:20:34Speaker 8: There are some talented motherfuckers that could become stars big
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: as Michael Jackson that won't get the opportunity to have
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: a deal because they don't have a certain amount of
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: streams on YouTube or they don't have a certain amount
- 1:20:46Speaker 8: of numbers on ig But meanwhile, these people can be
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: the next trick. These people can be the next such
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: and such. So this is how the whole industry is
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: moving right now.
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: And that's one of the things that really bothers me,
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: as me having in a n R quote unquote, because
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: now it's what am I on the internet just fishing
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: for the nigga got the highest streams? Or am I
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: looking for some real music?
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what it's coming to.
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: Can you can you make a head?
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: Now? Even can you make it head? Can you get followers?
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: Can you get you?
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: Can't you get on? TikTok? Really?
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: TikTok?
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: TikTok out? I'm about to get a TikTok. I ain't
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: got no sense.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: I even know song is I don't know, so it
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: is either that's crazy, that's.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: Crazy, like no sense I've seen people doing the dunk walk.
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: I'm like, all right, this is it all around the
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: world as niggas.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: Don't sit your ass.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: Damn many you got your girl doing it? What are
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: you doing looking like a duck calling me how much
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: money you got? I'm not got head.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: Gym. Been a pleasure my brother.
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: Yeah, you're gonna give me some trouble. We'll clear it out.
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: Oh man. Any last questions I do.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: Man as a sneaker guys question, Well, I just want
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: to know top five sneakers, top five top.
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: Five yours say you don't care about sneakers.
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: He cares about being fresh on them. Yes, whatever, But
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: what's your favorite like your top five.
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: Jawn sixes, jawn ones hot, top forces, strapped, all white,
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: preferably never did the three quarters never did the three
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: quarters from just three quarters were from home low top ones.
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: Constructions tip, you.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: Don't put the orange and blue boat Jackson's in there.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: That wasn't top five though there was a fly, but
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: that's not top five of Jackson.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: We all have.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: Well, I could go deep.
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: I could go in the Delta force in the court
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: force like them used to term me on, determinators, them
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: ship used to turn me on.
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: Like it's just so many. I can start getting into
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: the revolutions.
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: Revolutions like the agacy is the first agacies that came
- 1:23:08Speaker 8: out with the tennis ball on the back that was
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: fused and ship like that.
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: Like we can go through all the sniggers.
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: I got favorites for favorites for favorites for days. When
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: the deer doors first jumped out the hot top ones
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: with the tongue that ripped off the did you know
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: that deo doors had an extra tongue. You can take
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: the pastel on the top. No, you didn't, you take it?
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: So sixth grade my man omar came first grade, second
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: grade was that.
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: Maybe like eighty three eighty four, the.
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: Doors had the hot tops and then they had an
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: extended tongue with velcrow so you can make the tongue longer,
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: so you could tongue fuck your jeans and ship, but it.
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: Ripped like ship your herds.
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: Then they had she had the kangarooles back in the day,
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: you could stash your money in the side. You know
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: about the kangar rules, right, Nah, you don't know about
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: the rules.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: Nah.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: We started with in that erarow of the boat Jackson.
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: You gotta do something some some real sneaker history because
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: you can't really answer the real sneaker.
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: Well, he said, you should be shaming yourself. I don't
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: profess to be a sneaking you definitely, so you're not.
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: Your family got to do some history.
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: Errors of sneakers.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: You're missing lesson.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: Well I would say this, I'm a Nike and you're
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: missing errors. You can't be a sneak ahead and just
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: be nice. I don't know what delta forces. Of course,
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: I don't caught forces in clause all right, I'm thinking
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: like when you termany who rocked those, tell me who
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: rocked them were athletes. I'll know about athletes like germinators.
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: Was the Georgetown joints. Was the big Nike in the
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: That was Patrick Ewing.
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: Patrick Ewing was there, right, Dave Wingate those guys when
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: they lost to Jordan's.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: They lost to Jordan's, then they lost to Houston. Yeah,
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: you know, I know like that if you told me
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: the athlete, I got you. As you're saying, I'm like
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: the David Robinson's Okay that I remember sneaking.
- 1:24:55Speaker 8: And all that type of ship niggas that used to
- 1:24:57Speaker 8: be on the black when you had the cool g
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: and ship like that. He was the first thing got
- 1:25:01Speaker 8: sold with the coogie in ninety three, and then they
- 1:25:03Speaker 8: came out of ninety five talking about ogie sweating.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Now, I'm like, my man two chores ninety three.
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: Man eleventh grade is mam.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: She was full honey talking about four hunting.
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: Almost fainted, like the sweat is for hundred?
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: Like know where your mom brought your four hundred? You're like, yeah,
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: some rich shit call a cougie and ship like that.
- 1:25:17Speaker 8: She brought this from me. My uncle got ones and
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: all that. And then I don't know, Biggie start talking
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: about I'm not my man. Children's been here having Coolgie's Nigga.
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: Jim hip hop question Hallow top five Harlem Rappers.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Top five Haller Hallow.
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: I got five right now, I.
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: Got fined five right now.
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: That's Joelles, Cam Jells, Cam big l.
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: Herb McGruff, herb McGruff. For myself, yeah, I would put
- 1:25:54Speaker 8: myself at the top of the list. Don no disrespect.
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: I'm busting right now.
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: You know what, You're the most improved. You know how
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: the NBA to get the most Improved award. I feel like,
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: like ten years running, No, he's consistently gotten better because
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: I remember on Cam's first album when you made an appearance,
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: and to see the growth from now, from then to now,
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: it's actually pretty remarkable. He's only because most rappers get
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: worse as they get older. He's one of the only
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: people that have ever gotten better traumatically.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: It felt like it was like most rappers never hustled
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: when they was younger. M hm did you always were
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: you a rapper at the start or was it just
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: like that you could tell you wasn't a rap.
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: I was like you could tell you wasn't.
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: Learn to rap because Cam and Mace was making a
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: shipload of money and he was like, man, we teach
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: you how to wrap.
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: You left that guy out the top five. Yeah, he's a.
- 1:26:49Speaker 8: Dove two wishy watched. You ain't really got no real
- 1:26:52Speaker 8: Hong stories. I could, I could, I could?
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 1:26:55Speaker 8: Bed a rescue mission for a long time rescue You
- 1:26:59Speaker 8: heard but Charleston Mays though he definitely did a lot
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: for hallm like, he might not be in my top five.
- 1:27:08Speaker 8: As far as the influence and pushing Harlem to be
- 1:27:12Speaker 8: recognized in the world through our music, Max is probably
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: probably the biggest rapper at that time for Harlem. I
- 1:27:20Speaker 8: ever I ever, you know what I mean, at that
- 1:27:22Speaker 8: moment in time when he blew, there was no one,
- 1:27:26Speaker 8: no nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: Was like that with him.
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: And did he did? Period? It was crazy retarded. That
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: was crazy retarded, motion picture retarded. You did.
- 1:27:37Speaker 8: I will not take it away from Bethel. It's but
- 1:27:45Speaker 8: you know, I grew up with all these, with all
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: these gentlemen.
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: Yeah, now that's so I would put my man Nick.
- 1:27:52Speaker 8: I would put my man Nick, and like if it
- 1:27:55Speaker 8: was it was a six man, like I put my
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: man Nick, my man Nique Bucks Bucks.
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: Yeah, put him as a sus the top five.
- 1:28:03Speaker 8: And there's a few other ones like like Doub dub
- 1:28:05Speaker 8: get crazy, disrespectful, behind it, behind Mike Device from Harlem.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: But I'll see the six into his music too much.
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: I like Davis.
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: Davis is definitely. I liked David's dumb nice.
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: He reminds me that nineties.
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: But Dave got David is like a hybrid, so I
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: can't really just be like he's all Hall queen too. Yeah,
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: you got it. I mean it's a hybrid Queen's category
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: and ship like that, you know what I mean. But
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: Davids dead nice. You see Davis on all my projects,
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: but they got a great work.
- 1:28:34Speaker 8: But besides, just like my top five, let's get like
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: Harlem has a lot of fucking dope rappers. Got Shrewd,
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: you got Trigger, you got the Ride the Nation, you
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: got sig the Tray, you got Yellow Tape, you got
- 1:28:47Speaker 8: Rich Durama. Like, pardon me if I'm all the battle rappers,
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: like all the battle rappers, that's a whole nuther lane
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: and ship like that. And I'm talking about niggas that
- 1:28:57Speaker 8: get busy, busy like Murdon Moucas is a fucking legend.
- 1:28:59Speaker 8: When it too old and look one on one battle
- 1:29:02Speaker 8: face to face, I can't do battle.
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: I had to them. I couldn't. I couldn't.
- 1:29:07Speaker 5: And the fighting somebody, yeah somebody.
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: It's gonna go bad.
- 1:29:11Speaker 8: Just wanted to And all the battle wrapping, it will
- 1:29:13Speaker 8: be no more battle rapping, like no more like you'll
- 1:29:17Speaker 8: get locked up for having a battle rapping.
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: What's the dude from Cony that always punches everybody from Half?
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: Yeah, man, I cough is retarded, man shouts behalf. That's
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: my nigga. Man, that niggas it'll be ten times worse.
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: And that's why I couldn't do it like they being
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: a niggas like your moms and then they find the
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: information and.
- 1:29:39Speaker 8: Then daddy wasn't snitching eighty second you were a fucking
- 1:29:43Speaker 8: son of a mouse.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: You wet ass, like like what I got your child
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: support paperwork and they put it out a bit. You
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: ain't think this ship in nine years, nigga?
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: Like what, No, that was too much. That's too much.
- 1:29:59Speaker 8: Recall, Like the ship is definitely somebody's doing a lot
- 1:30:04Speaker 8: of research. When it comes to my opponent, like get
- 1:30:07Speaker 8: get everything, we need anything, It's real.
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: It's too much, it's too much.
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: They nasty with it. But I respect the sport because

- 1:30:22Speaker 8: acting involved, a lot of acting have like and not saying.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: Like acting like this the drama you got Like I said,
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: you if you've got three rounds and you got to
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: be at home, you got to get your ship right.
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: Anything like you.
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: Say something, your man comes in with the punchline.
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: Yeah, like this ship gotta be this is like baallet almost.
- 1:30:42Speaker 8: So I respect him for that because I know it's
- 1:30:45Speaker 8: not not not nothing you could do overnight when you're
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: prepping for a battle, especially when it comes to words
- 1:30:49Speaker 8: and not to mention, it's not easy.
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: Most people think it's easy to wrap. It's not.
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: It's not even easy to talk half the time you did,
- 1:30:55Speaker 8: so imagine trying to rap to music and not jumble
- 1:30:59Speaker 8: your words and most black people have.
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: This ship is hard.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: I'm telling you from the personal.

- 1:31:37Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: It's helped to bump into people that know something about
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: something you know. I mean a lot of the people
- 1:31:41Speaker 6: that do interviews with really got a question.
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: And that st that y'all seem to know your ship,
- 1:31:47Speaker 8: and you're knowledgeable about making business and showing black people
- 1:31:49Speaker 8: how to make some money, and I respect that.
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: That's what I'm about.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: We're gonna get you to investing in the stock market,

- 1:32:06Speaker 8: your I'm going to create more stocks that y'all can
- 1:32:07Speaker 8: invest in. But if y'all want to give me a

- 1:32:11Speaker 6: See if it could turn over it AI.
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: So what would you like to tell the people? What
