- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us on.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Air with the Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: All right, it's good even let's check it.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Where do you stand on this holding a spot in
- 0:15Speaker 2: line at the grocery store? I have asked, I've been
- 0:19Speaker 2: with people that.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I do this.
- 0:20Speaker 2: We have to go back and get one more thing right?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Is it rude or is it okay? And what's the
- 0:24Speaker 2: grace period? So here's the story. There's a there's a
- 0:27Speaker 2: guy at the grocery store with his parents and it
- 0:28Speaker 2: was very busy. The lines for the checkout were very long,
- 0:30Speaker 2: so his parents asked them to hold their spot in line. Well,
- 0:33Speaker 2: they grabbed the last few items, so, in other words,
- 0:35Speaker 2: they weren't finished yet and they wanted him to start
- 0:38Speaker 2: moving through the line. He gets to the front and
- 0:41Speaker 2: his parents are still not back yet, and another customer
- 0:44Speaker 2: spoke up, much like Sophia did with Skeletor in Primate
- 0:48Speaker 2: with the loud people in front of it at the
- 0:49Speaker 2: movie theater, but spoke up and said, hey, it's unfair
- 0:51Speaker 2: and disrespectful. You can only wait in line once you've
- 0:54Speaker 2: got your stuff. So where do you stand on that?
- 0:58Speaker 4: Sisiny depends on how much stuff you're coming back with.
- 1:01Speaker 4: If like you're already there with your shopping cart, then
- 1:03Speaker 4: you're holding your stuff. If you're there just your body,
- 1:06Speaker 4: and then all of a sudden here come as his
- 1:07Speaker 4: parents with a ginormous shopping cart. Then the person behind
- 1:11Speaker 4: him is like, I wouldn't have gone in line behind.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You, So I think you run a risk.
- 1:17Speaker 2: If you can hold the spot, go you know whoever else,
- 1:20Speaker 2: go run and get all the things and get back
- 1:21Speaker 2: in time before your spot is up in line.
- 1:26Speaker 1: You ran the risk and you won.
- 1:27Speaker 2: But if you aren't back and your son or your
- 1:32Speaker 2: kid is up to the place at the check out
- 1:35Speaker 2: and you're not back yet, they cannot hold up the
- 1:38Speaker 2: line and wait for you to come back while other
- 1:39Speaker 2: customers behind you. You cannot do that, so you run
- 1:43Speaker 2: a risk of having to go to the back of
- 1:45Speaker 2: the line if you do this.
- 1:47Speaker 1: That's where I stay on this very clearly. I think
- 1:49Speaker 1: so too.
- 1:49Speaker 4: And also people do this at Disneyland and amusement parks,
- 1:52Speaker 4: and this is why people get in fights now.
- 1:54Speaker 1: We're seeing because they'll roll up.
- 1:57Speaker 4: With like four people.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Oh on, my mom's there.
- 2:01Speaker 2: To get remind yourself you're not supposed to fight at
- 2:04Speaker 2: Disneyland's the happiest place on earth. Remind yourselves all right?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Coming up next, I get your five hund bucks and
- 2:10Speaker 2: back to school cash. Let's get going this morning on
- 2:12Speaker 2: kiss FM it now, do you measure the amount of
- 2:18Speaker 2: time Do you calculate the amount of time it takes
- 2:21Speaker 2: somebody to respond to a text that you send out?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Do you do that? Are you that person or not? Sisney?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Is that person?
- 2:26Speaker 5: Like?
- 2:27Speaker 2: If she texts us and we don't text her back
- 2:28Speaker 2: within a certain amount of time and she sees us
- 2:31Speaker 2: texting someone else for example, Oh, in a group chat
- 2:34Speaker 2: that Rially text me and I were to respond to
- 2:38Speaker 2: the group or respond to Tanya in the group before
- 2:41Speaker 2: siciny she I wouldn't say she'd ald a grudge.
- 2:43Speaker 5: But.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Not in I don't care about the order of you
- 2:48Speaker 4: responding in a group chat. I'm just saying if if
- 2:50Speaker 4: I text you separately, that.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I know that. That's what I said.
- 2:53Speaker 2: If you text me and I don't respond to you,
- 2:55Speaker 2: but I respond to the group.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I just like noted if that's a grudge.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Okay, Anyway, in case in point, there's a friend of
- 3:04Speaker 2: minor that's watching your IG stories but didn't text you
- 3:07Speaker 2: back and you're holding.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Across I know.
- 3:09Speaker 4: So I texted Tanya, I'm just kidding. It's notna, Tanya, I.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Have a friend that I just you know.
- 3:15Speaker 4: It was one of those things where I was like,
- 3:16Speaker 4: oh my gosh, she was told me about this restaurant
- 3:18Speaker 4: that she went to, and so I was trying to
- 3:19Speaker 4: figure out what it was and I couldn't think of
- 3:20Speaker 4: the name.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So I texted her like, hey, what was the name
- 3:22Speaker 1: of that? D D D D nothing?
- 3:24Speaker 4: And then I went on with life and I forgot
- 3:26Speaker 4: about it too. And then that night I was laying
- 3:29Speaker 4: on the couch and I see that she's responded, like
- 3:31Speaker 4: she actually like saw my stories and like responded in
- 3:34Speaker 4: a group chat that we're in, And I was like,
- 3:35Speaker 4: wait a minute, and so like, either she forgot about
- 3:38Speaker 4: me and it's not that big of a deal, But
- 3:39Speaker 4: then do I say something?
- 3:41Speaker 1: And now, how do you care? Why do you care?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Doesn't there a therapy session.
- 3:45Speaker 2: It doesn't clearly want to respond to whatever it was
- 3:47Speaker 2: you were talking about, whether she forgot about you, whether
- 3:50Speaker 2: she doesn't want to talk about the topic, but don't
- 3:53Speaker 2: let that navigate any of your emotion.
- 3:55Speaker 1: That's the problem.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Fine, and you're right, and I won't let that navigate
- 3:59Speaker 4: my emotions. But what it made me realize is that
- 4:02Speaker 4: I also do this, and so now I'm hyper aware
- 4:05Speaker 4: of when someone texts me and I haven't responded to them,
- 4:08Speaker 4: and then if I see their story, then that reminds me.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I'm like, oh my gosh, I need to go respond
- 4:11Speaker 4: to the text before I.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Like their story. Yes, so you okay, So all this
- 4:15Speaker 1: stuff is a calculation. To you. What I do sometimes
- 4:17Speaker 1: is if you don't respond.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I think it seems very Now when I actually get
- 4:22Speaker 2: it sent to me, it seems really harsh and rude.
- 4:24Speaker 2: But I'll just send boop question mark boop one line
- 4:27Speaker 2: question mark.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But it's harsh. I didn't know it was so harsh.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I think you can do that's a little bit cuter.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Is the eyeballs like the two eyes just looking like?
- 4:36Speaker 6: So I use the microphone emoji and I say, is
- 4:38Speaker 6: this thing on much better?
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yes?
- 4:40Speaker 1: The question mark is harsh.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, m Elsie, good morning, good mom, Thank you for calling.
- 4:51Speaker 1: How can we help you.
- 4:54Speaker 7: My brother and sister in law just recently had a baby,
- 4:57Speaker 7: which is awesome, and we're you know, all exce about it.
- 5:01Speaker 7: I totally get that they want to be, like you,
- 5:03Speaker 7: extremely careful, protective right now. But I just said out
- 5:07Speaker 7: something that just doesn't sit well with me at all,
- 5:11Speaker 7: kind of weird. So my husband and I work full time,
- 5:15Speaker 7: and so our daughter she goes to daycare, you know,
- 5:17Speaker 7: a few times a week, and all the days that
- 5:20Speaker 7: she's not in daycare, my mom and dad you know,
- 5:23Speaker 7: watch her, and that's been a huge help and everything.
- 5:27Speaker 7: But recently our daughter had already nose major nothing major
- 5:33Speaker 7: or anything, you know, usual daycare stuff. You know, they
- 5:36Speaker 7: come home with us, nanny knows, not a big deal.
- 5:39Speaker 7: So we decided to you know, add a caution and
- 5:42Speaker 7: respect you know, withhold friend, you know, visiting the new
- 5:45Speaker 7: baby for a bit, because we don't want to risk anything.
- 5:48Speaker 7: You know, totally understand, I'm a mom, But I thought
- 5:52Speaker 7: from my mom that my brother told my parents that
- 5:57Speaker 7: they shouldn't be around my daughter because they shouldn't be
- 6:04Speaker 7: visiting the baby since they've been around my daughter, and
- 6:08Speaker 7: they wanted them to.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Wait like a few days after just as like a period,
- 6:14Speaker 3: because my daughter goes to daycare, like she's some kind
- 6:18Speaker 3: of weird walking.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Because they're concerned about your daughter carrying all the germs
- 6:23Speaker 2: that's where we are, right.
- 6:25Speaker 7: Yeah, Like, I mean, yeah, daycare is that you're going
- 6:29Speaker 7: to have more cold than ready noses and everything.
- 6:32Speaker 3: How old is the baby it's a newborn, like like
- 6:37Speaker 3: a month.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Well, let's let's flip the rolls.
- 6:40Speaker 2: If you just had your daughter, would you feel the
- 6:42Speaker 2: same way about their kids?
- 6:43Speaker 1: There was it daycare?
- 6:46Speaker 7: I mean, like, my parents are the ones who are
- 6:48Speaker 7: trying to visit the baby. Like I'm not trying to
- 6:51Speaker 7: because I understand, you know, but their daughter.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Right, Oh, so they don't even want your parents around.
- 6:56Speaker 4: It's not even about your daughter. It's like just because
- 6:58Speaker 4: your parents, your.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Parents were around your right yes yeah, yes, okay, so
- 7:03Speaker 2: they're thinking, yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If they're not showing symptoms and there's nothing really care.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 6: I don't think it's judgmental.
- 7:10Speaker 4: They're trying to protect their baby.
- 7:11Speaker 1: That's their prerogative. That's I think I would take it
- 7:13Speaker 1: personally at all.
- 7:15Speaker 4: A month is young, But if baby's like six months
- 7:17Speaker 4: old at this point they're still kind of doing this stuff,
- 7:19Speaker 4: then that's just annoying.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I think Sisney's got a good point. Let's see how
- 7:24Speaker 2: how long this lasts. Give them the benefit of this moment,
- 7:27Speaker 2: because they just have this new baby and let them
- 7:30Speaker 2: be overprotective. But let's ride this out.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you respect it.
- 7:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I get it.
- 7:41Speaker 4: By the third kid, they're not going to care because
- 7:42Speaker 4: I was the same way with the twins. I mean
- 7:44Speaker 4: I was like, hands in his eyes, wash your hands,
- 7:46Speaker 4: but oh, do you put a.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Rag over your shoulder. Don't let it touch your actual clothes.
- 7:50Speaker 1: And then by Sevilla was just like, hey, you want
- 7:51Speaker 1: to hold her. So it's just time, Elsie, good luck,
- 7:56Speaker 1: thank you for calling.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Don't like it under your skin. It's not worth letting
- 8:01Speaker 2: it be personal. I think they're just being over protected.
- 8:06Speaker 1: His FM.
- 8:07Speaker 2: When you go to the doctor's office, they always give
- 8:09Speaker 2: me a clipboard and they say fill all the stuff out,
- 8:11Speaker 2: and I you know, have filled out right, yeah, check
- 8:14Speaker 2: check chuck check check sign. So the dirtiest place in
- 8:19Speaker 2: the doctor's office is that clipboard. It's the clip yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 2: id it has more than forty six thousand times more
- 8:29Speaker 2: germs than a toilet seat.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Questionnaire in the clip pad. That's crazy. I never have
- 8:37Speaker 1: to about that. Tell your friends that that's crazy. Today's quote, what.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Is not started today is never finished by tomorrow. I mean,
- 8:46Speaker 2: you get a jump on it, So Tanya, doctor next week?
- 8:50Speaker 1: No, no clipboard please? Yeah, your own gloves.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah exactly, I'm gonna look so instant And they got him.
- 8:58Speaker 1: There, use their gloves morning.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Why don't you point seven Kiss FM is on Los
- 9:02Speaker 2: Angeles Hights. Why don't you point seven KISSFM? All right, Tanya,
- 9:08Speaker 2: let's get to the headlines. What's happening this morning? Kiss
- 9:11Speaker 2: FM Headlines with Tanya red Well.
- 9:13Speaker 6: A pack of coyotes has taken over and abandoned construction
- 9:17Speaker 6: site in West Hollywood, and neighbors say the loud howling
- 9:19Speaker 6: has been keeping them up at night. A woman was
- 9:22Speaker 6: critically hurt after a crash involving a way most self
- 9:25Speaker 6: driving car on Venice Boulevard just north of the ten.
- 9:29Speaker 6: A small plane made an emergency landing on the sand
- 9:31Speaker 6: at Huntington Beach after reporting engine trouble and no one
- 9:35Speaker 6: was hurt. And Christopher Nolans The Odyssey keeps breaking box
- 9:39Speaker 6: office records, earning another eighty seven million dollars in its
- 9:43Speaker 6: second weekend and becoming one of the biggest movies of
- 9:46Speaker 6: the year.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Why don't two point seven It's Kiss FM. If a
- 9:49Speaker 2: guy on a date doesn't walk you back to your car.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Is that a red flag?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Did Skeletor Sophia when he first started dating you? How
- 9:56Speaker 1: old Skeletor He's twenty four, so twenty.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Four year old Skeletor walk you back to your car
- 10:03Speaker 2: at the beginning.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Well, he actually picked me up, so it's more of.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Like, did he open the door or lean over to
- 10:09Speaker 2: open the door from inside?
- 10:10Speaker 8: No, he got out, he was waiting for me. He
- 10:12Speaker 8: opened the car door, and then he actually walked me
- 10:15Speaker 8: to my apartment door when he dropped me off.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But go back to the car.
- 10:19Speaker 2: When he stood there on guard for your arrival, put
- 10:23Speaker 2: you in the car, did you then lean over the
- 10:25Speaker 2: center console and pop his door open?
- 10:28Speaker 1: No?
- 10:29Speaker 2: Cool, that's the response. That's the considered response. Guy is
- 10:36Speaker 2: standing there opens your door, then you just from the
- 10:40Speaker 2: inside lean over and just try and pop his door.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Just open the latch so it's unlatched.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Guys, this is what you do if you if you
- 10:49Speaker 2: think about it.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It's nice, isn't it. Okay, Well, let me talk to Megan. Megan.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Good morning, Megan, I'm good. So the guy I didn't
- 11:00Speaker 2: walk you back to your car?
- 11:01Speaker 5: Right, Yes, we went on our first date and it
- 11:05Speaker 5: was in downtown LA and I had to park in
- 11:08Speaker 5: a parking garage like about a block away, and after
- 11:11Speaker 5: the date, he didn't even offer to walk into my car.
- 11:13Speaker 5: So now I'm like, is that a red flag? Like?
- 11:16Speaker 5: Can I go out with him again?
- 11:18Speaker 1: No? No, it's rude.
- 11:19Speaker 2: First of all, he should be mindful of getting you
- 11:23Speaker 2: safely to your car.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Number one.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's it's just a polite thing to do, right, He
- 11:29Speaker 2: gets more time with you, he has the peace of
- 11:31Speaker 2: mind and knowing that you got to your car and
- 11:33Speaker 2: you're on your way home, like all those things should
- 11:34Speaker 2: be in Yeah. The fact that they're not, I think
- 11:36Speaker 2: it is a red flag. And I really think that
- 11:39Speaker 2: traits like that from the beginning can only get worse.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree, No, definitely.
- 11:46Speaker 4: That's why I was thinking it's a safety thing too.
- 11:48Speaker 4: It's like the parking garage late at night.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you should be walked downtown too, Exactly.
- 11:53Speaker 5: I was a little nervous, but when he said he
- 11:56Speaker 5: got in the car.
- 11:57Speaker 1: So I was like, whatever, this guy is not deserving
- 12:00Speaker 1: more time or attention.
- 12:02Speaker 5: Perfect, thank you.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I was gonna say, what's his name? Should we out him? No?
- 12:09Speaker 2: He knows who he is now if he doesn't think
- 12:12Speaker 2: about things like that.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He's just not going to be considerate as we go on.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's true.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Come on in for this one time for a second
- 12:18Speaker 2: date update. I got Alex on the phone. Let me
- 12:19Speaker 2: jump into Alex. Alex, good morning, bro, how are you.
- 12:23Speaker 9: I'm good.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I'm all right.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So this is what's always fascinating about these second date
- 12:29Speaker 2: update stories. You think one thing, the woman you think
- 12:32Speaker 2: you were totally connected with, thinks the opposite and just
- 12:35Speaker 2: stops you, like she just closes the shop.
- 12:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't get it exactly.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Something I don't need to happen something us that. But
- 12:46Speaker 2: let me get some backtory. So you met her at
- 12:48Speaker 2: an after party. Is anything good ever happen at the
- 12:51Speaker 2: after party?
- 12:52Speaker 1: No? Yeah, lots of good fun happens to Alex. Yeah
- 13:01Speaker 1: you met it the after party. What happened?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Uh?
- 13:05Speaker 9: You know I saw her at the party, like from
- 13:09Speaker 9: across the room, and uh, you know, and she's super
- 13:12Speaker 9: hot and uh so you know, I went over and
- 13:15Speaker 9: a bought our drink and we talked and it was
- 13:17Speaker 9: cool and we exchanged instas and you know, we dmmed
- 13:22Speaker 9: a little bit. Uh, nothing too exciting. But then I
- 13:26Speaker 9: was at Toppy in lest Hollywood like the next week,
- 13:29Speaker 9: and and she was there and uh so we talked
- 13:34Speaker 9: more and I went ahead and I asked her out
- 13:36Speaker 9: and she said yes, and you know, we went on
- 13:39Speaker 9: to like great dates. We went back to my place
- 13:43Speaker 9: and it was super fun and and then, I mean
- 13:47Speaker 9: I thought it was great, and I asked her to
- 13:48Speaker 9: hang out again and she said, I don't think it's
- 13:51Speaker 9: going to work out, but thanks for fun dates.
- 13:54Speaker 2: And yeah, okay, so you went to what happened like,
- 13:57Speaker 2: we'll get like, can you imagine anything that you saw all, yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 2: it's a smell something, it's it's.
- 14:03Speaker 1: A no, no, no, it's a habit they see anything.
- 14:07Speaker 9: I got a great apartment, it's immaculate. I got a job.
- 14:10Speaker 9: I'm you know, I mean, I'm you know, I'm a
- 14:14Speaker 9: little older than she is. I don't know. Maybe that
- 14:17Speaker 9: bo you know how many years afferent, like I don't know,
- 14:22Speaker 9: a dozen maybe or a dozen ish twelve It.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Says a dozen for years right there, and maybe how
- 14:30Speaker 2: you calculate time.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And I don't know.
- 14:34Speaker 9: I thought it. I got along great.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I understand, I understand. I understand. Matthew McConaughey. By the way,
- 14:41Speaker 1: there's somebody who sounds like and I can't play it.
- 14:43Speaker 1: It's like it's like Matthew McConaughey. It's like I'm on
- 14:46Speaker 1: a roller coast. You're going up and down.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Click click, whoa.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Maybe it was I get older and the nobody was charming.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I think it's charming. Hold on, what is it? A
- 14:58Speaker 1: dozen ish years? Was it? Does it for a dozen
- 15:01Speaker 1: or so? And it's not. He's definitely more than twelve first,
- 15:06Speaker 1: I mean it might be twenty. You say a dozen ish,
- 15:08Speaker 1: Who says a does you.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Definitely have a different generation if you say a dozen ish? Okay,
- 15:18Speaker 2: let's come back. It's a second D update. This is
- 15:20Speaker 2: why we come together to figure this out for Alex.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Second D update kids, f M. The whole point of
- 15:26Speaker 2: this is to try and get to the bottom of it.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It's the same thing with Ryan's roses. You just want
- 15:30Speaker 2: peace of mine, the same concept, I guess. But this
- 15:35Speaker 2: is when you're not in the deep relationship. So Alex
- 15:39Speaker 2: reached his eyes, like, okay, dude, I met this girl
- 15:41Speaker 2: at an after party and we ran into each other
- 15:46Speaker 2: on the wild meant to be, meant to be. We
- 15:47Speaker 2: went out on several dates then all of a sudden,
- 15:49Speaker 2: she comes back to my place. Didn't he say she
- 15:50Speaker 2: came back to my place?
- 15:51Speaker 1: He did?
- 15:51Speaker 4: He said, it went back to my place.
- 15:53Speaker 1: At that one problem too.
- 15:55Speaker 2: We got a few situations where someone goes back to
- 15:58Speaker 2: his place and what they see, smell, or encounter is
- 16:02Speaker 2: the problem.
- 16:03Speaker 4: But he said, my my apartment is immaculate and it's nice.
- 16:08Speaker 1: He did. Right, that's like me saying I'm six too. Well,
- 16:12Speaker 1: we don't know that.
- 16:14Speaker 5: I know.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm just saying it could be that he should be,
- 16:16Speaker 1: but I don't think he also, he did say, he
- 16:19Speaker 1: did say. Maybe.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I said, can you say anything, bro go deep with me,
- 16:22Speaker 2: anything you can think of that might be the problem.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Oh well, maybe it's our age gap. What's the age gap?
- 16:27Speaker 2: He said, a dozen ish or more? A dozen ish,
- 16:30Speaker 2: It could be twenty years when you say something like that.
- 16:32Speaker 2: That's what I'm thinking. All right, So Alex, hold on, Alex.
- 16:36Speaker 2: We got her to come on the line. You're gonna
- 16:37Speaker 2: listen in to everything. Don't say anything. We wanna try
- 16:41Speaker 2: and find out. Okay, okay, Hey Liz, thanks for joining.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Us this morning.
- 16:45Speaker 2: You're on erics writing seacrest TONI in siciny. How you
- 16:47Speaker 2: doing I'm all right, we're great. So we're calling you
- 16:52Speaker 2: about this guy named Alex. Remember going out with Alex Alix?
- 16:57Speaker 10: Oh okay, yeah, really?
- 16:59Speaker 2: How is Alex? How was Alex? What'd you think of Alex?
- 17:04Speaker 10: He was, he was really nice, But it was just
- 17:09Speaker 10: the dates we went on. We're just a reminder not
- 17:12Speaker 10: to date divorced guys.
- 17:15Speaker 2: But then why go out with him a few tures?
- 17:17Speaker 2: Like why keep going on dates with him?
- 17:19Speaker 10: Well, he was, he was really nice. I was having
- 17:22Speaker 10: fun with him, but the time, the date when we
- 17:25Speaker 10: went back to his place, that kind of became more clear.
- 17:30Speaker 10: But like I've been out with divorced guys before, I've
- 17:32Speaker 10: been out with guys who have never been married, guys
- 17:34Speaker 10: have never been married, who are older than me, Like,
- 17:37Speaker 10: they definitely have their issues too, but the energy with
- 17:40Speaker 10: divorced guys is really different. Like I feel like they're
- 17:43Speaker 10: just like they're just trying to replace their wife in
- 17:47Speaker 10: a way.
- 17:48Speaker 6: Talk to us about dating older guys who never been
- 17:51Speaker 6: married before?
- 17:52Speaker 1: What are those what are those flags?
- 17:56Speaker 5: Well, just like.
- 18:05Speaker 10: Are they older? Are they still like in college? That's
- 18:08Speaker 10: kind of the vibe. It's like they they haven't grown up?
- 18:11Speaker 1: Is the vibe? That.
- 18:13Speaker 10: But then but then some divorced guys are too are
- 18:15Speaker 10: too grown, and it's hard to find the right balance.
- 18:21Speaker 2: So why older guys? Then sounds like the older guy's
- 18:23Speaker 2: path is not your path?
- 18:24Speaker 10: Yes, well no, no, I mean, I mean I older guys.
- 18:29Speaker 10: I don't know. I'm just open to whoever is like
- 18:32Speaker 10: nice and cool and and Alex seems really nice and cool.
- 18:35Speaker 10: Like there's there's nothing, so they're bad.
- 18:38Speaker 2: So just trying to wrap my head around for our
- 18:41Speaker 2: own benefit here just to understand. So there are little
- 18:45Speaker 2: signs Alex not the guy for you. Then you go
- 18:47Speaker 2: home with him and you realize he's definitely not the guy.
- 18:49Speaker 2: What was it that made you decide that when you
- 18:52Speaker 2: went back to his good question?
- 18:54Speaker 10: Okay, well there weren't even that many times that he
- 18:56Speaker 10: wasn't the guy for me before going back to his house.
- 18:59Speaker 10: So like, I go back to his house and it's
- 19:03Speaker 10: totally it's not like messy, it's not bad, it's just.
- 19:06Speaker 7: He was like.
- 19:08Speaker 10: He would be like, oh, what do you what do
- 19:11Speaker 10: you think of? Like my outfits in my closet or
- 19:14Speaker 10: like what should what clothes should I put together? Like
- 19:16Speaker 10: what curtains in this living room?
- 19:19Speaker 9: Would look good. Like it was weird.
- 19:20Speaker 10: I was like auditioning to become his wife or something.
- 19:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 19:24Speaker 10: He was like asking me about like my you know,
- 19:28Speaker 10: like my advice about his life and like how he lives.
- 19:32Speaker 10: And that's just like I'm not trying to do that.
- 19:34Speaker 10: I'm twenty four. Like I'm just trying to have fun.
- 19:37Speaker 10: I'm not trying to take on the role of someone's wife.
- 19:40Speaker 10: I felt bad though, because like it's definitely clear he's lonely.
- 19:44Speaker 10: But I mean, yeah, I'm just like not up for
- 19:47Speaker 10: all that right now at my age.
- 19:49Speaker 9: That's all.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I hear you.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Okay, Well, we have Alex on the phone and I
- 19:53Speaker 2: want to bring him in Alis. Does this make any
- 19:54Speaker 2: sense to you?
- 19:56Speaker 5: Oh?
- 19:57Speaker 9: A whole ouch number one? I mean is that really?
- 20:02Speaker 9: Oh how I come off? It's a bummer.
- 20:08Speaker 10: Okay, I did not know you on the line.
- 20:12Speaker 2: But that's good because we may not have gotten the truth.
- 20:14Speaker 2: And I think everybody's happy.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Alex. This is very constructive, Christian.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Yeah, this is the most constructive you have done, crystal
- 20:21Speaker 4: clear position on this, So this is actually really good.
- 20:25Speaker 10: Yeah, Like I just like being more interested in me
- 20:28Speaker 10: as opposed to like how I would help benefit, your life,
- 20:32Speaker 10: your apartment, your your look, whatever it might be. But anyway,
- 20:38Speaker 10: you're really nice.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but this is the best kind of it
- 20:43Speaker 2: didn't work out scenario. Everybody gets everybody, and everybody's a
- 20:47Speaker 2: nice person. It's just that it's not for me. And
- 20:50Speaker 2: I like you, and you're a good person. You're a
- 20:52Speaker 2: good guy, and you're a good wiz.
- 20:55Speaker 1: You know. So Look, that's what we knew. We learned.
- 20:58Speaker 9: I didn't know. I can't. I didn't know. I can't
- 20:59Speaker 9: even off that way, you know. I guess I appreciate
- 21:03Speaker 9: hearing it. I am divorced, and I thought maybe I'm
- 21:06Speaker 9: less over that than I thought. But you know, it's
- 21:09Speaker 9: good to hear it. Good here and she rocks and
- 21:11Speaker 9: I'm sorry, you know whatever. I think she's really cool
- 21:13Speaker 9: and thank you you good good, good to hear, good
- 21:17Speaker 9: and bad to hear at the same times.
- 21:19Speaker 1: What's your age gap between the two of you.
- 21:23Speaker 10: Well, I'm twenty four.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And he got the legs.
- 21:29Speaker 9: I'm thirty seven.
- 21:33Speaker 4: I can't about thirteen.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Yeah, he was right, he was not wrong.
- 21:37Speaker 9: All right.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Well, hey, guys, thank you, We appreciate both of you,
- 21:41Speaker 2: and good luck on your search for the right person.
- 21:42Speaker 9: All right, thanks guys, thank you.
- 21:47Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacret.
- 21:54Speaker 2: All right, this is Kiss FM. Now some of the
- 21:57Speaker 2: things that social media can be good, some of them
- 21:58Speaker 2: not so good. This is actually deductive. This one here
- 22:02Speaker 2: a productive trend on social media. It's called the admin night.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Admin is something that is a word. Admin is a
- 22:09Speaker 2: word that makes I get afraid of admin. Yeah, it
- 22:14Speaker 2: makes me nervous, it gives me anxiety. But admin night
- 22:18Speaker 2: is something where you make social and admin project right exactly.
- 22:24Speaker 4: So think about all the admin stuff that we have
- 22:26Speaker 4: to do sometimes maybe it's our to do list. I mean,
- 22:29Speaker 4: it's like those emails that you need to respond to,
- 22:31Speaker 4: dentist appointments, all the stuff that you're just like, I'll
- 22:34Speaker 4: get to it eventually. Well, they're saying, have like an
- 22:36Speaker 4: admin night party with your friends. So everyone comes over
- 22:40Speaker 4: and everyone kind of kind of like handles that to
- 22:42Speaker 4: do list together. But you're like drinking, eating, having fun.
- 22:45Speaker 2: No, it doesn't work, You're not going to get it done.
- 22:51Speaker 2: The admin is you want to get all those tasks
- 22:54Speaker 2: like cleaning up my closet, cleaning up the clutter my
- 22:57Speaker 2: glove compartment, cleaning up my desk, Stroyers. You want to
- 22:59Speaker 2: get all of that done as fast and as efficiently
- 23:02Speaker 2: as possible by having people over, It's only going to
- 23:04Speaker 2: distract me. I'm a not going to do a good job.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I'm be not going to get through it. And see,
- 23:09Speaker 2: I'm not going to be focused. So I think it's
- 23:10Speaker 2: actually a terrible idea.
- 23:12Speaker 4: No, it is not a terrible idea at all. Think
- 23:14Speaker 4: about like all the random emails that you want to
- 23:17Speaker 4: unsubscribe to.
- 23:18Speaker 1: It's just I need to focus.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I can't do that and also listen to you talk
- 23:21Speaker 2: about whatever you're talking about. It's not I can't do that,
- 23:24Speaker 2: And I don't want to mix the two, like admin
- 23:26Speaker 2: needs to be torture and social needs to be pleasure.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Like otherwise I wouldn't know what's pleasure what's torture.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Sometimes you have so much stuff on your to do
- 23:34Speaker 4: list that you don't get to have the social fund.
- 23:36Speaker 1: So why not just on a Sunday, Git.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Get up early on a Saturday, get this stuff done
- 23:40Speaker 2: in the morning with coffee.
- 23:41Speaker 1: It's the best way to do it.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Well, this is taking over for twenty twenty six. You'll
- 23:44Speaker 4: see you're going to be invited to my admin night
- 23:46Speaker 4: and you better come.
- 23:47Speaker 1: No kiss FM Sophia.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Here, the situation is you're you're kind of seeing the
- 23:54Speaker 2: sky skeletor I don't kind of, but you haven't made
- 23:56Speaker 2: it official yet.
- 23:57Speaker 1: So but you've been seeing him.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Regularly skeletor wow three years your senior the scout or
- 24:02Speaker 2: an older guy. Yes, and your friend has asked you
- 24:05Speaker 2: to wing with her and you don't know if you can.
- 24:08Speaker 8: Yeah, so she wants to go out and actually, like
- 24:12Speaker 8: run a two man. And when you run a two man,
- 24:14Speaker 8: it's basically that you and your best friend you go
- 24:17Speaker 8: after two best friends. So you go, fine, two like
- 24:21Speaker 8: guys who are together as friends, and your friend takes
- 24:24Speaker 8: one and you take the other one.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Well, hold, hold, hold, but who takes one for the
- 24:30Speaker 2: team if you're not into one? Do you have to
- 24:32Speaker 2: take one for the team? Or they have vice versa?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Like what if the guys aren't equally as attractive? Like
- 24:38Speaker 2: do you go into the two men saying, okay, whoever
- 24:40Speaker 2: gets a cute one gets a cute one, and the
- 24:42Speaker 2: other one's got to take one for the two man team?
- 24:45Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:45Speaker 8: You just sometimes you got to suck it up. But thankfully,
- 24:48Speaker 8: my best friend and I have opposite tastes, so usually
- 24:51Speaker 8: it works out in our favor.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Well, my opinion is, you can't run a two man
- 24:54Speaker 2: and go out with another man of the two men. Why,
- 24:57Speaker 2: you've got a boyfriend a boyfriend, but she wants it
- 25:01Speaker 2: to be and if you do this, it's gonna for
- 25:03Speaker 2: sure screwed up if he finds out.
- 25:04Speaker 8: That's what I'm thinking, Like, I feel like it's so disrespectful.
- 25:07Speaker 8: But then my friend she's like, well, you guys aren't
- 25:09Speaker 8: in a relationship and you're not official, and he hasn't
- 25:12Speaker 8: asked you, and this and that.
- 25:13Speaker 2: So, but your friend has the motive to want to
- 25:16Speaker 2: get you to do this because she wants to meet
- 25:17Speaker 2: the other man of the two man, so she's got
- 25:20Speaker 2: an agenda here.
- 25:21Speaker 1: This could really screw up your situation.
- 25:24Speaker 2: And your intention is probably to go out and kind
- 25:27Speaker 2: of pretend to be after this OA, but not really.
- 25:30Speaker 1: So I think it's a bad idea.
- 25:31Speaker 4: No, I say, keep your options open. This guy is
- 25:34Speaker 4: not making an official with you, and you know what,
- 25:36Speaker 4: it's fair game.
- 25:37Speaker 2: And to you, skeletor if you're listening, she's being offered
- 25:40Speaker 2: to go out and have a run.
- 25:41Speaker 1: A two man, so get on it. Bro get on.
- 25:45Speaker 1: It sounds intense.
- 25:46Speaker 8: He is listening, Thank you, Ryan.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Clock is ticking turned twenty one too. Things are going
- 25:52Speaker 1: to change.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Skeletor m sweating during this show. I actually perspire now,
- 25:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's kiss FM. Yeah. I have those moments
- 26:01Speaker 2: where you have they call egg on your face. You
- 26:03Speaker 2: don't like get egg on your face. It's a moment
- 26:05Speaker 2: where you you ask somebody something and they don't answer
- 26:08Speaker 2: you back, or it's a form of rejection in a way. Actually,
- 26:12Speaker 2: I went to extend my hand to shake my hand
- 26:14Speaker 2: to somebody just yesterday, and they didn't see it, and
- 26:18Speaker 2: so I tried to slowly, casually bring it back down
- 26:21Speaker 2: to my hip pocket as if I didn't extend it.
- 26:24Speaker 2: But third party people saw me extend it knew that
- 26:26Speaker 2: I was blown off. Now, they didn't bring it up
- 26:28Speaker 2: and make it awkward. I didn't bring it up and
- 26:30Speaker 2: make it awkward, but we all knew it happened. Bekayla,
- 26:33Speaker 2: This is what you can relate to, right, this just
- 26:35Speaker 2: happened to you. What was the moment you had egg?
- 26:38Speaker 2: The expression egg on your face?
- 26:39Speaker 1: What happened?
- 26:40Speaker 11: So I was at a friend's birthday party, and so
- 26:42Speaker 11: we had a lot of mutual friends there and he
- 26:45Speaker 11: waved at me, or so I thought, and I waved back,
- 26:49Speaker 11: and he was waving at the person that was next
- 26:51Speaker 11: to me, and I was so embarrassed because he walked
- 26:54Speaker 11: over and he walked over to the other person.
- 26:57Speaker 1: No matter what it.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Says about you, is your polite person waving to strangers.
- 27:03Speaker 2: So at the end of the day, you're a good person.
- 27:05Speaker 2: How about you at the restaurant and they say, enjoy
- 27:08Speaker 2: your meal before they can finish, you go you two?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I say, have a nice day, you too. Anyway, it's
- 27:17Speaker 2: egg on our face. We've all had it happen. But
- 27:19Speaker 2: it says you're a good person. You're polite, you're courteous.
- 27:21Speaker 2: You know what. You went out of your way not
- 27:23Speaker 2: to have that person feel bad. You didn't know who
- 27:25Speaker 2: they were waving to you, that's true, but out of
- 27:27Speaker 2: being kind and generous, you waved back and they didn't care.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Way I look at it.
- 27:33Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 27:34Speaker 2: One on two point seven kiss FM. I was gonna
- 27:39Speaker 2: do it for us this morning. One more thing before
- 27:42Speaker 2: we go. What's your favorite piece of equipment at the playground, Tanya?
- 27:46Speaker 1: I like a swing, me too. Because I pumped my legs. Yeah,
- 27:50Speaker 1: I'm going to pump. What about you?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Isn't he the slide? You guys have a favorite playground
- 27:55Speaker 2: piece of equipment. Mikayla in the back.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Room, being too, How about Druby. I like the teeter totter,
- 28:02Speaker 1: of course you do. My kids always get hurt on
- 28:04Speaker 1: that thing. Be careful of the teeter totter.
- 28:07Speaker 6: But you can't do teeter totter alone.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I thought it was called a seesaw.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Is it not.
- 28:14Speaker 1: We're out of time this teater it's a sea saw
- 28:20Speaker 1: the same thing? Is it the same thing?
- 28:22Speaker 2: With me?
- 28:23Speaker 1: We'll come back tomorrow. I always called it a teeter totter.
- 28:26Speaker 1: But stay too, you guys confused, she said y
