- 0:06Speaker 1: Welcome to Brief Recess. I'm Michael Foot, I'm Melissa Albranch.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Today we're going to talk about Pepsi versus Coke, the
- 0:11Speaker 1: song of the Summer. We found out a lot of
- 0:14Speaker 1: people have no internal monologue, allegedly. We have an update
- 0:18Speaker 1: on the Alex Murdau murder trial. Trump recently dropped his
- 0:21Speaker 1: lawsuit against the I R S. We have our best
- 0:24Speaker 1: Dealyssa joining us to talk about concussions, world travel, and
- 0:27Speaker 1: relationship advice. And we're going to answer all your questions
- 0:30Speaker 1: and rude reviews from my dms. So stick around. Well,
- 0:36Speaker 1: there's such thing as winter Green, but there is something
- 0:39Speaker 1: such a thing as Pepperman.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Okay, but I'm I'm allowed to not like. But I
- 0:42Speaker 2: don't like, Michael, I don't like winter Green. I think
- 0:44Speaker 2: it tastes disgusting.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I prefer there's barely a difference between Winterman and Peppers unless.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You don't like something, in which case I don't like
- 0:52Speaker 2: winter Green and I don't want it.
- 0:54Speaker 1: For context, I just broke into someone's desk at the
- 0:56Speaker 1: iHeart Studios and took a bunch of mints, and it
- 0:59Speaker 1: turns out their winter Green, and Melissa didn't want them.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I don't like winter green.
- 1:03Speaker 1: They're good.
- 1:04Speaker 2: No, they are not.
- 1:05Speaker 1: And you could tell you she smelled it and knew immediately,
- 1:08Speaker 1: yes that it was winter You could. I could not.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:14Speaker 1: In my head, I wouldn't know.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Do you know the difference between coke and PEPSI answer carefully?
- 1:19Speaker 1: I know. I honestly was about to give a hot take,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and then it was like, this might be the thing
- 1:23Speaker 1: that does me in. I can taste the difference, but
- 1:26Speaker 1: I don't care about the difference. If I'm drinking a cola,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and that's the end of the show. That's the end
- 1:32Speaker 1: of our show. Folks, Thank you so much for going
- 1:35Speaker 1: to need to take pepsi challenge. If I am drinking
- 1:38Speaker 1: a cola, it's it doesn't matter to me. I do
- 1:42Speaker 1: not care. They're both great, they both taste delicious. I
- 1:46Speaker 1: know this is like. And the thing is is that
- 1:49Speaker 1: it's actually the hottest take of all the coke pepsi takes,
- 1:52Speaker 1: because when your take is that it's the same, you
- 1:55Speaker 1: piss off everyone. It's not like you made the pepsi
- 1:58Speaker 1: people happy. No, they're mad at you too. So I
- 2:03Speaker 1: know God gives his like toughest battles to his sexiest warriors,
- 2:08Speaker 1: you know. And that is and it's and it's really
- 2:11Speaker 1: my cross to bear. Out of all the things in
- 2:15Speaker 1: my life like this is the one that keeps me up.
- 2:17Speaker 2: At night, I've never been more disappointed in anybody in line.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I know, I know, not only not only am I.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Outraged and enraged, But wouldn't you want me to be
- 2:29Speaker 1: honest with you?
- 2:30Speaker 2: No, I'm yeah, but you're I mean, yes, thank you
- 2:33Speaker 2: for being honest. I appreciate your honesty.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm loving this. I'm loving this. I'm loving this. It's
- 2:41Speaker 1: very military Chikh militia Melbourne.
- 2:47Speaker 2: This is I want you to thank you for the compliment.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But we're not getting away from the coke versus.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I'm really trying to change the subject.
- 2:52Speaker 2: So not only do they taste vastly different, yes, vastly different, yes.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But I think it's because I'm I will eat and
- 3:02Speaker 1: drink any most things. I love every I'm not a
- 3:06Speaker 1: picky beverage girly. If someone hands you a PEPSI, you're
- 3:10Speaker 1: gonna spit on them, slap it out of their hands.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I won't accept it. I will not accept it. If
- 3:18Speaker 2: I go something, no, I will not be as I
- 3:23Speaker 2: don't understand.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think that's a little crazy.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I think it's pretty similar to a coke.
- 3:30Speaker 2: No, it is not at all, right at all.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Maybe you're a super taster, I'm not. Do you eat cilantro? Yes, well,
- 3:36Speaker 1: then you're not a supertastious.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I like I like Clancha.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Have you seen these clips of Tyra Banks saying she's
- 3:42Speaker 1: a super taster.
- 3:43Speaker 2: No, Tira should not be speaking.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Of crazy people with hot opinions about Yeah.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Pepsi does not taste good and coke is delicious, Okay,
- 3:58Speaker 2: really tastes different. And if I go place and I'm
- 4:00Speaker 2: going to ask for like a soda, I ask that
- 4:03Speaker 2: you confirm is it pepsi or coke? And if they
- 4:06Speaker 2: say pepsi, I say no, thank you can to have a.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Nice Well, I feel like it's ninety nine percent of
- 4:10Speaker 1: the time it's going to be a coke. If it's
- 4:11Speaker 1: a pepsi, they will say we have pepsi.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like pepsi is very down south.
- 4:17Speaker 2: It's like pepsi is big down there for some.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Reason, down south of Union Square where the taco bell is. Yes,
- 4:24Speaker 1: that's where that's why they sell pepsi a Taco.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Bell, they do, which is why I don't go.
- 4:29Speaker 1: To Taco Bell. Now, maybe that's why I like pepsi
- 4:31Speaker 1: so much, because I'm always I've got I'm doing cartwheels,
- 4:34Speaker 1: both legs behind my head, drinking a pepsi at Taco
- 4:36Speaker 1: Bell four in the morning.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I here's the thing about I haven't had Taco Bell
- 4:39Speaker 2: in a really, i mean years, decades.
- 4:42Speaker 3: But.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I think I would enjoy the Mexican pizza, which is
- 4:48Speaker 2: what I used to love.
- 4:49Speaker 1: That was mine. We love the Mexican pizza. Love a
- 4:53Speaker 1: little cross cultural mashup like that. Like that is that's
- 4:57Speaker 1: Alis Island.
- 4:58Speaker 2: That's why they came.
- 4:59Speaker 1: That's true American immigration story right there, the Mexican pizza.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Summer Bell, Thank you so much. Let's get into a sidebar.
- 5:08Speaker 1: What it's finally hot in the city. The boobies are out,
- 5:12Speaker 1: the legs are out, the thigh, the thigh met, the knee, biscuits,
- 5:15Speaker 1: the ankles, the cankles, all of it all out, open
- 5:19Speaker 1: toad shoes on.
- 5:19Speaker 2: They get a petty cure.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Friends, are you excited for summer? I am excited for
- 5:24Speaker 1: some girl summer.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I am really excited about what I believe is going
- 5:29Speaker 2: to be the song of summer. And we're not allowed
- 5:31Speaker 2: to sing things, but I want to tell you the
- 5:34Speaker 2: title of the song. Are you ready?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Can I guess?
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Is it heated rivalry related? Okay? Is it a song
- 5:41Speaker 1: that I would like?
- 5:41Speaker 2: Know? It's brand new, so you may have.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Heard I'm not cool enough. I would not.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Well, I'm not that cool either, but I heard it.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But you heard it.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I heard it, okay multiple times? Are you ready?
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm ready?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Are you ready? The name of the song is Melissa,
- 5:56Speaker 2: We're Drunken Outside stah and guy, can I tell you
- 6:02Speaker 2: I am going to be insufferable this summer?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Why did I have to call you out by name
- 6:07Speaker 1: like that? They specifically said.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Melissa, We're drunken outside.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Give the coordinates of where you were saying.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It is a Soka song, so it's very rhythmic.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, electric boogloo?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Please leave? You have angered the people and Tobago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh why is it not pronounced boogoloo?
- 6:30Speaker 2: It's not that.
- 6:31Speaker 1: That's Oh that the Milicia. The Melissa song is from Trinidad.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a Sosoka song. I believe, I believe that
- 6:39Speaker 2: it is Trinidadian into.
- 6:41Speaker 1: They always do a summer cocktail. There's always like a
- 6:44Speaker 1: summer beverage like the world. I don't know. Someone will say, oh,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's the summer twenty twenty six cocktail.
- 6:50Speaker 2: What is that do you think?
- 6:51Speaker 1: And it's like the Nigerian Prince like it's always like
- 6:54Speaker 1: this weird cocktail and there's always like operal and amorrow
- 6:59Speaker 1: mixed with champag hand in a little bit of coke.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It's like something to discussed.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I'm really into Saint Germain and prosecco.
- 7:06Speaker 1: That sounds sweet.
- 7:07Speaker 2: It is sweet.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I wanted to hurt going down. I don't want like.
- 7:10Speaker 2: It's not enjoyable.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It is. Don't okay, don't king shame you're coming in
- 7:15Speaker 1: hot with the I'm sorry, it's almost bride.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I don't want the drink to hurt me. Other things
- 7:26Speaker 2: can hurt me, but not the drink. I don't want
- 7:28Speaker 2: the drink to her me.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah. So they're always they always do a summer cocktail,
- 7:33Speaker 1: and I feel like that'll come too. With Saint Germain
- 7:34Speaker 1: and prosecco right.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Now, that's what I feel like. It's like very light.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Do you chill the Saint Germain?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yes?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Oh okay, So that's that's important because.
- 7:43Speaker 2: It's the Saint Germain and obviously the prosecco is chilled.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Well well, well guess.
- 7:53Speaker 1: To talk about hocktails.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And look who's here showed up.
- 7:57Speaker 1: She smelled it.
- 7:58Speaker 2: The Gail Meyer is in the building, and we are
- 8:01Speaker 2: excited about this. We weren't sure that she was going
- 8:05Speaker 2: to show it was. It was touch and gopher, Yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 2: it was, it was.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I was on tinderhooks. But what you do this weekend?
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm so glad that you asked, Michael. So this weekend,
- 8:17Speaker 2: my lovely goddaughter Emma graduated from college and we had
- 8:23Speaker 2: a lovely party for her where I saw my aunt
- 8:26Speaker 2: who hadn't seen it in a while, and my aunt is
- 8:29Speaker 2: a fan of the pod, and she had a few questions.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I'm ready.
- 8:35Speaker 2: One of the questions was just like, sometimes I don't
- 8:39Speaker 2: see you talking about me. Sometimes I don't see you.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Sometimes I see Michael walking and talking to himself.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and.
- 8:47Speaker 2: He always has on a beautiful shirt.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Love.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Okay, So don't you guy wants to know why she
- 8:53Speaker 2: sees you walking around and talking by yourself? Was he
- 8:57Speaker 2: talking to don't you get he was a friend of
- 9:03Speaker 2: the pod and She was just like, why aren't you
- 9:07Speaker 2: with him? And why is he talking to himself? And
- 9:09Speaker 2: where does he get his shirts?
- 9:10Speaker 1: That's actually a question I asked myself all the time.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That is great. I love that. Yeah, I love her
- 9:17Speaker 1: just asking the concept of a TikTok. Why is he
- 9:19Speaker 1: talking to the camera?
- 9:20Speaker 2: So I think I don't. I don't think that my
- 9:23Speaker 2: aunt understands that your TikTok is different, if not the
- 9:27Speaker 2: show at all.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Love that. That is so bad because.
- 9:30Speaker 2: For whatever reason, it's all coming to her at once once.
- 9:33Speaker 1: She's just getting on the show.
- 9:37Speaker 2: And he doesn't understand. She's very confused.
- 9:38Speaker 1: My shirts I get them from EVERYWHEM and I get
- 9:40Speaker 1: most of my stuff on eBay. Honestly, once you know
- 9:42Speaker 1: your size, you can just like doom scroll eBay that
- 9:45Speaker 1: on stuff it gets quite dangerous. Yeah, what were her
- 9:47Speaker 1: other questions?
- 9:49Speaker 2: Yeah, she's very very She was very curious as to
- 9:53Speaker 2: why you are talking to yourself? I am too, and
- 9:59Speaker 2: why I'm not w you and where you get your shirts?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Do you know some people don't have internal monologues? Have
- 10:06Speaker 1: you heard about this?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Who are these people?
- 10:08Speaker 1: I don't know, but mine's been set.
- 10:11Speaker 2: What do you mean when you people don't have internal monologue.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Some people just don't have them. Is that real? Yeah?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Do you have an internal model? Study? It's like a
- 10:19Speaker 1: certain percentage of the population.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Friends in the room, do you all have internal monologue?
- 10:23Speaker 2: It is a safe space if you don't, that's okay.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Is it just like crickets right never stops? I don't,
- 10:29Speaker 1: So I honestly envy the people who don't.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I don't. I think that's a very dangerous place to be.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I do because because that means that there isn't a
- 10:39Speaker 2: voice in your head saying to you maybe you shouldn't
- 10:42Speaker 2: do this thing, or like talking out a problem that
- 10:45Speaker 2: you just do.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah, how do they function? It's like that guy. That
- 10:49Speaker 1: guy got an MRI and like ninety percent of his
- 10:51Speaker 1: brain was missing, but he lived a normal life. Yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: there are like some real anomaies.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yeah, because I feel like I've met.
- 11:00Speaker 1: People where I'm like, you don't have an internal monologue.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I can tell you.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Don't have an internal monologue, or you don't have a conscience.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I do you know what I say, Like, there's no
- 11:10Speaker 2: like because I really feel like your internal monologue will
- 11:15Speaker 2: stop you right from doing dangerous things.
- 11:18Speaker 1: What's the ethics of someone without an internal monologue.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Yeah, if you friends, if you don't have an internal monologue,
- 11:26Speaker 2: can you let us know. I'm really curious. I'm really curious.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Is to go ahead?
- 11:30Speaker 1: It says up to ten percent of the population does
- 11:32Speaker 1: not have an internal monologue.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Okay, so that actually makes me feel better that it's
- 11:37Speaker 2: not that many people.
- 11:38Speaker 1: No, that's a lot of people.
- 11:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, but I mean yeah, then I would
- 11:43Speaker 2: have been like, oh, what's going on for the people
- 11:46Speaker 2: who know? It's not even a judgment. I'm just really curious,
- 11:50Speaker 2: Like what, I don't even know what that means to
- 11:52Speaker 2: not have an internal monologue.
- 11:54Speaker 1: They obviously can live their life.
- 11:56Speaker 2: No, no, no, they're living, but our decisions.
- 11:58Speaker 1: And drive and like hold down a job like it's
- 12:01Speaker 1: not but they're not having critical thinking solo time in
- 12:06Speaker 1: the shower, you know, like you and I are.
- 12:07Speaker 2: If I'm going to go out, let's get to go
- 12:09Speaker 2: food shopping, let's see. Right, So I'm like, okay, I'm
- 12:12Speaker 2: going to go food shopping and then maybe I'll have
- 12:14Speaker 2: to double back and go to the dry room. Like
- 12:16Speaker 2: I feel like that's a little bit of an internal
- 12:18Speaker 2: monologue also, right, it's not just like how do I
- 12:21Speaker 2: feel about life in itself. It's like regular things. So
- 12:24Speaker 2: if you don't have that, how are you deciding if
- 12:28Speaker 2: you're in the car on the subway where to get off?
- 12:30Speaker 1: We're going to let us know if that's you, because
- 12:32Speaker 1: I feel like this could be like a spectrum disorder
- 12:35Speaker 1: or something, you know what I mean. It doesn't have
- 12:37Speaker 1: to be.
- 12:37Speaker 2: There's there's varying reports that some some say.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Like psychology today says up to fifty percent of people.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Fifty percent see that? I think, is wow?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Well definitely everyone in our government. Well, actually, no, I
- 12:50Speaker 1: don't want to say that people are stupid. If they
- 12:52Speaker 1: don't have an internal monologue, no going to be brilliant.
- 12:54Speaker 1: They just process out loud.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Is that what we're out loud?
- 12:58Speaker 1: And don't we only know like five percent about the
- 13:00Speaker 1: human brain? Like there's only like so much that we
- 13:04Speaker 1: actually know.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Interesting?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Can we get into algorithms? I wanted to ask you,
- 13:12Speaker 1: did you follow the murder murders at all?
- 13:14Speaker 2: A little bit?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Okay, because it's gripped.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I don't understand what happened, what came to light?
- 13:21Speaker 1: So glad you asked what.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Came to light to allow this to happen?
- 13:26Speaker 1: There was a leged jury interference, gotcha. So his conviction
- 13:31Speaker 1: is now being questioned. So it was a twenty twenty
- 13:35Speaker 1: three double murder conviction. It's been vacated in South Carolina,
- 13:39Speaker 1: which doesn't mean he's just like walks free. He is.
- 13:44Speaker 1: He's still in prison for financial crimes. Okay, so the
- 13:47Speaker 1: criminal charges I've been vacated, but he's doing hard time.
- 13:51Speaker 2: He saw them do hard time.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Oh yes, and he's currently serving a sentence. So it
- 13:54Speaker 1: wasn't like he's released.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I know. But the loved ones, yeah, you know, oh,
- 14:00Speaker 2: of course, all those people, the victims. So when something
- 14:03Speaker 2: like that happened, you you want the person responsible to
- 14:09Speaker 2: pay for the act.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 14:11Speaker 2: It doesn't matter that he's still going to do hard
- 14:14Speaker 2: time for the financial stuff. Yeah, the people who love
- 14:18Speaker 2: the folks that he of course took care, you know
- 14:20Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Like, yeah, all right. So the allegations are that the
- 14:23Speaker 1: Supreme Court unanimously found that former clerk Becky Hill improperly
- 14:28Speaker 1: influenced jurors and denied Murder a fair trial. The jury
- 14:33Speaker 1: interference centered on the comments Hill made to the jurors,
- 14:38Speaker 1: including remarks about watching his body language. So she was
- 14:43Speaker 1: telling jurors, like watch his body language, don't be fooled
- 14:45Speaker 1: by him, like the county clerk at the courthouse.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Is it because she just wanted to be sure that
- 14:51Speaker 2: he went to jail like that he served the time.
- 14:54Speaker 1: No, I mean it really is.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Well, now the thing about it is here, this is
- 14:59Speaker 2: again so she did this Allegedly she did this for him,
- 15:05Speaker 2: but if she's been the county clerk for a while,
- 15:08Speaker 2: who else was she doing this for? So now it's gone.
- 15:10Speaker 2: This is the problem with stuff like this now is
- 15:13Speaker 2: because now people are going to be revisiting the cases
- 15:17Speaker 2: where she had been involved to see if she had
- 15:18Speaker 2: done the same thing for others.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and the retrials could be higher stakes. They're saying
- 15:23Speaker 1: that they might go for the death penalty now in
- 15:27Speaker 1: the retrial. So there was this like undue influence. But
- 15:31Speaker 1: Murda is suing her in federal court for influencing the trial,
- 15:35Speaker 1: sure civil rights lawsuit jerry tampering misconduct. So this has
- 15:40Speaker 1: like blown back up again. We're all talking about this
- 15:43Speaker 1: fine like again we thought that we thought we got
- 15:46Speaker 1: the conviction, it was over, and now it's and it's
- 15:48Speaker 1: not back in the headlines. Another like trial in the headlines.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Have you seen the Trump was suing the irs for
- 15:55Speaker 1: ten billion dollars? Okay, today he dropped it. He dropped it.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he just dropped it because.
- 16:01Speaker 1: The judge was basically like, you guys have to show
- 16:04Speaker 1: evidence that the parties in this lawsuit are different because
- 16:09Speaker 1: both parties were hired by Trump. It's his private attorneys
- 16:12Speaker 1: and then his government attorneys negotiating against each other for
- 16:17Speaker 1: a settlement of taxpayer dollars that will be paid to Trump.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So the judge was like, you have to prove It's
- 16:22Speaker 1: called diversity of parties. So she was like, you have
- 16:27Speaker 1: to show that these parties are actually separate and different
- 16:30Speaker 1: and have competing interests for there to even be a hearing.
- 16:34Speaker 4: And he can't.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And he can't, so he wrapped it Withdrew with prejudice.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I don't understand what a.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Waste of time money.
- 16:40Speaker 2: It's a waste of time and money. And I really
- 16:43Speaker 2: feel like, I mean, obviously, I'm obviously I'm sure he
- 16:46Speaker 2: wants a payday whenever he can get one, but this
- 16:48Speaker 2: is just distractions, yes, exactly, Like he just wants to
- 16:52Speaker 2: distract us from the lousy job that he's doing. He
- 16:56Speaker 2: wants to distract us from the Epstein stuff like this
- 16:59Speaker 2: is all all anything that he could do to make
- 17:06Speaker 2: us look elsewhere.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Yep, he will do. And it's always like this is
- 17:10Speaker 1: one lawsuit. I'm sure there's fifty others where he's lining
- 17:13Speaker 1: his pockets that we're not talking about, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: it's crazy. He was in China last week.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Did you see how what he was saying to the
- 17:21Speaker 2: Chinese government. What was really great about our two countries
- 17:25Speaker 2: is how much American people love Chinese food. That, you know,
- 17:30Speaker 2: the same way that Chinese people have really taken to
- 17:35Speaker 2: like basketball and stuff. American people really love Chinese food.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Just as many Chinese now love basketball and blue jeans.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Chinese restaurants in America today outnumber the five largest fast
- 17:49Speaker 3: food change in the United States all combined. That's a
- 17:52Speaker 3: pretty big shape.
- 17:53Speaker 1: That is such a weird thing to say.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I mean, it is a weird thing to say. But
- 17:58Speaker 2: is it is I don't know, but is it is
- 18:01Speaker 2: it a weird thing for him to say?
- 18:02Speaker 1: No?
- 18:03Speaker 2: Right, this man, this man has lost his fucking marbles.
- 18:08Speaker 1: He really is demented.
- 18:09Speaker 2: This is he's lost his marbles and he's president of
- 18:12Speaker 2: the United States of Americ guy, We're.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Going to like find him on the side of the highway,
- 18:17Speaker 1: like walking barefoot, muttering to himself.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Do you ever hear you know that song by I
- 18:21Speaker 2: think it's by Fastball, where it's a song about this
- 18:25Speaker 2: couple who they just disappeared, and it's like they're just where,
- 18:30Speaker 2: They're just walking off somewhere. You can see their shadows
- 18:34Speaker 2: walk wandering off somewhere. It's always summer, They're never like
- 18:39Speaker 2: it's just the And it's based on a true story
- 18:42Speaker 2: of this old, this elderly couple that just disappeared.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to text Afroman and I'm going to
- 18:47Speaker 1: have him write a song about this.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Oh, you would love it.
- 18:50Speaker 1: This is like visiting Peapot the nursing home.
- 18:52Speaker 2: This is like, you know, the thing is the way
- 18:54Speaker 2: that he speaks. Also, right, he was like, and it's
- 18:56Speaker 2: a really wonderful thing, isn't it.
- 18:58Speaker 1: This is Grandpa when there's like.
- 19:01Speaker 2: The world is on fucking fire. But let's keep talking
- 19:03Speaker 2: about Lomain. Let's just do that. Let's just keep on
- 19:08Speaker 2: talking about I don't know, egg drop once on soup.
- 19:13Speaker 1: So stupid, this person, geopolitical negotiations. I just it's so embarrassing.
- 19:21Speaker 2: It's so embarrassing. And it's just there are no grown ups. Like,
- 19:24Speaker 2: there's nobody. Do you know what I'm saying. There's nobody.
- 19:29Speaker 2: No one is minding the store. The door is just open.
- 19:33Speaker 2: The cash register is just open.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Just come on in and do what.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Have you We've got Yeah, and it's all our money.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It's our money in the cash register. I'm sick about it.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And how much more time do we have?
- 19:47Speaker 1: I mean, the midterms are in November.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So to like at least two more years.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but hopefully checks a little bit more checks and balances,
- 19:53Speaker 1: like Congress has passed like a record low of bills
- 19:58Speaker 1: in the past two years, so soon enough. Did after
- 20:03Speaker 1: your Hot Girl Melissa dance party summer, Hopefully after that
- 20:07Speaker 1: they'll be a little bit of we're drunken outside, Melissa outside,
- 20:12Speaker 1: We'll be right back. We've got an extra special guest.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Welcome back to Brief Recess. We're going to do a
- 20:19Speaker 1: deep dive under oath with everyone's favorite celebrity guest. You
- 20:25Speaker 1: love her in the comments.
- 20:26Speaker 2: You do lovelamoring, clamoring.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Please welcome our dear friend, Alissa, Missdemeanor. Mayer.
- 20:36Speaker 4: That's not a good nickname.
- 20:39Speaker 5: It's exactly somebody who's never had a misdemeanor.
- 20:42Speaker 4: I want to make that very well.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm reserving the rape for any future litigation.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Fair So that makes sense.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Oh, this is great. We've got like an actual client.
- 20:54Speaker 4: We've never actually never needed you. You're on retainer.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I'm fully retained in perpetuit.
- 21:00Speaker 2: That something is bound to happen one day.
- 21:03Speaker 1: One time. Okay, So Alyssa is our good friend. We
- 21:06Speaker 1: asked her on the show one time during the pandemic.
- 21:09Speaker 1: We were all getting lunch because we're all in lockdown,
- 21:11Speaker 1: we couldn't do anything, and we're crossing the street. I'll
- 21:15Speaker 1: never forget this I have. We're in the East Village.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We're crossing to Tompkins Square Park. Alyssa just walks into
- 21:25Speaker 1: the street. Melissa shrieks, She goes. She said, get back here.
- 21:33Speaker 1: You look both ways, Melissa said, the paperwork alone, the paperwork.
- 21:38Speaker 4: That is something you say over.
- 21:41Speaker 1: The paperwork alone would be arduous.
- 21:43Speaker 2: You know why. I'll tell you why. When I was
- 21:45Speaker 2: in high school, I was going something with a bunch
- 21:48Speaker 2: of friends and one of the kids, the person that
- 21:52Speaker 2: I was with, got hit by a bus. Now okay, Well,
- 21:56Speaker 2: now this is he got hit by the bus. Not
- 22:02Speaker 2: super duper hurt, but it hit him in the shoulder
- 22:05Speaker 2: and it kind of like knocked him over and he's fine. No,
- 22:08Speaker 2: he's fine, No, he's fine. I had to call nobody
- 22:12Speaker 2: wanted nobody wanted to be the one to call his parents.
- 22:15Speaker 2: So I had to do.
- 22:16Speaker 4: And that would happen again, and that would happen again.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. It was awful. Hi, missus Smith Melissa Malbranch.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I don't know, Like he's fine, but you know, Dom
- 22:30Speaker 2: got hit by a bus. Tom got hit by a bus.
- 22:34Speaker 2: But he's okay.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 22:38Speaker 4: You know, my mother would blame you somehow, one way
- 22:41Speaker 4: or another.
- 22:41Speaker 1: My mom would want you to call some Melissa Alyssa
- 22:44Speaker 1: and my mother are very close.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I love her, We go way back.
- 22:49Speaker 1: She would want you to call.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Yeah, well I would find humor, I think, I.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Mean, it would depends, right, how bad is he hurt?
- 22:55Speaker 4: I still think i'd find humor.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like the bus driver was basically blind. Your son is
- 23:00Speaker 1: so enormous. Yeah, I can't believe that.
- 23:03Speaker 4: I don't know what happened. It definitely wasn't his fault,
- 23:04Speaker 4: for sure.
- 23:07Speaker 2: He wasn't drunk or anything.
- 23:08Speaker 4: It was nothing to do with it.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yes, the paperwork alone. And so I thought it would
- 23:13Speaker 1: be fun if we did relationship advice. Oh my god,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I think it's could be really fun with.
- 23:19Speaker 4: No one warned me.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Okay, wait, we.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Actually needed I had no idea what we were.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I did warn myself because I just made it up.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Okay, perfect.
- 23:26Speaker 1: So I also think we have to clear the record. Alessays, Okay,
- 23:29Speaker 1: she's no longer concussed.
- 23:31Speaker 4: I am no longer can cuss.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Okay, straight to camera, please, yes.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I am no longer concussed. In fact, I got past
- 23:37Speaker 4: today earlier today. Of hell, I am that of all. Medically,
- 23:42Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And so this was your second concussion? This year is
- 23:45Speaker 1: your third?
- 23:45Speaker 2: Oh okay, it was a third.
- 23:48Speaker 5: People in my defense, Oh, like, what's a year like
- 23:51Speaker 5: in this year?
- 23:53Speaker 2: My god?
- 23:54Speaker 4: Twenty six just the one?
- 23:56Speaker 1: You know what? Thank you?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Months you're talking about three? Yeah, and you know what.
- 24:03Speaker 1: The research isn't in yet on whether or not that's bad.
- 24:07Speaker 4: No one has been proven, but it is bad. We
- 24:10Speaker 4: know that it's well.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Actually, I found out after I got the third that
- 24:13Speaker 5: if I was in school, I would no longer be
- 24:15Speaker 5: allowed to play sports, right, Yeah, like kids if they
- 24:17Speaker 5: get three concussions are like not allowed to play.
- 24:22Speaker 1: What is it? I don't know, like CBT or something.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Now that's cock Andbob t CT.
- 24:29Speaker 4: It's not related, not related.
- 24:31Speaker 1: The NFL and CBT issues CT.
- 24:34Speaker 4: That's what it is.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm hoping I don't have I don't know why.
- 24:40Speaker 2: What is happening right that you are getting concussions? Okay?
- 24:44Speaker 4: In my defense from what I understood, Okay, this is.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Always whenever she tells you a story, she prefaces it
- 24:51Speaker 2: by saying in my defense.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Right, So apparently once you get hit, you can get
- 24:56Speaker 5: hit more easily after that.
- 24:57Speaker 1: That's one because you're like dizzy and falling in No.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Well yes maybe, but also like they say that, like
- 25:04Speaker 5: your symptoms kind of like settle and then get like
- 25:08Speaker 5: revamped when and like, I'm no doctor. I want to
- 25:11Speaker 5: make that very clear. I don't actually know what I'm
- 25:13Speaker 5: talking about, but this is what I've been told. Okay,
- 25:16Speaker 5: this is what the rumor is. Okay, So the first
- 25:19Speaker 5: one was like an honest mistake where I was getting
- 25:21Speaker 5: in a cab and hit my head. The second one
- 25:23Speaker 5: was my death. Perceptions was genuinely off and I hit
- 25:26Speaker 5: my head on the counter. It had been like eight
- 25:29Speaker 5: months since then, and this time was because in my
- 25:34Speaker 5: apartment in Miami, the door is normally opened. My mother
- 25:38Speaker 5: is afraid of getting locked on the balcony and so
- 25:41Speaker 5: because she has very irrational fears.
- 25:45Speaker 4: The balcony, No she is not.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Is it possible to get locked out?
- 25:48Speaker 4: No it is not.
- 25:49Speaker 5: In fact, the door is a locked so yes, but
- 25:52Speaker 5: she is not. She's very much a very strong rule.
- 25:56Speaker 5: You cannot you cannot close the door. I had a
- 26:00Speaker 5: friend the.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Door is sorry, I'm sorry. This door opened constantly.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Only when you're on the balcony, So if you're on
- 26:05Speaker 5: the balcony, the door needs to stay open.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:08Speaker 5: I had a friend who was visiting. She closed the
- 26:11Speaker 5: door because she thought she was nice to do. I
- 26:14Speaker 5: was like, oh, I'll go get something, and I like
- 26:16Speaker 5: went and then smacked right into the door.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Thinking a lot of there are a lot of videos
- 26:20Speaker 1: like this, like for fail videos.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Luckily there was no one filming, but it was in
- 26:24Speaker 5: front of a group of people, not thrilled. Yes, yes exactly,
- 26:28Speaker 5: And I would have sued her somehow.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Okay, And so we found out about this. You were
- 26:33Speaker 1: driving when you told.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Me where was I driving?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Why was I in Miami?
- 26:37Speaker 4: Oh that makes sense?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I made lawyer.
- 26:40Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, but you're feeling better now.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I was in Denver. I was not. I was in
- 26:46Speaker 4: my I was not. I was in Denver.
- 26:47Speaker 2: I was always sorry. When was that?
- 26:50Speaker 1: Oh? Yes, and let me tell you something. We took
- 26:52Speaker 1: a break to reset for this segment. Alyssa was booking
- 26:55Speaker 1: a flight. She was booking it on her phone in
- 26:59Speaker 1: the green.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, So where yous going?
- 27:02Speaker 5: I'm going to Palm Beach for the Lizzie McGuire concerts.
- 27:09Speaker 4: I mean, I'm sorry, it is not are you guys
- 27:10Speaker 4: not going to be there? I going to be there?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Actually?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Wait, so Lizzie McGuire as in Miley your No.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Her name is Hillary Duff.
- 27:17Speaker 2: That's right, I'm very much sure.
- 27:19Speaker 4: I'm very much millennial.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I forgot her and don't give a shit about it.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Le McGuire in the concert?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Wait, Hillary Duff? Who was Miley Cyrus?
- 27:33Speaker 4: That even was past my time?
- 27:35Speaker 5: I feel like yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, I didn't really
- 27:37Speaker 5: watch that, but I did watch Lizzie McGuire, KP.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Watched Tanna Montana. Is that more than yes?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Okay?
- 27:42Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, that's her time.
- 27:44Speaker 2: She's twenty five. That's about show.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Okay, yes, it's Hannah. Yeah, okay. And so you just
- 27:51Speaker 1: got back from Venice I did, okay, give us the phone.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Slovenia and Croatia, which I was there for two weeks.
- 27:57Speaker 2: How was Croatia?
- 27:58Speaker 6: For?
- 27:59Speaker 4: It was amazing.
- 27:59Speaker 5: I really was a spa for two days, which I
- 28:04Speaker 5: really needed because the first few days was my friend's
- 28:06Speaker 5: wedding in Venice, and then the second two days was
- 28:09Speaker 5: spa and then we went to Sylvenia.
- 28:11Speaker 1: The cute boys at a wedding in Italy where there
- 28:13Speaker 1: there were so many Italian.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Yes, like the agents are gorgeous, Like everyone is down.
- 28:22Speaker 2: You ever seen sometimes they'll show you like the hot
- 28:26Speaker 2: priests in the Vatican.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I have that calendar.
- 28:29Speaker 2: That's calendar.
- 28:31Speaker 1: That's not I'm going to get you one.
- 28:34Speaker 2: No, no, no, but have you seen the hot priests
- 28:36Speaker 2: in the Vatican? I mean, these are.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Beautiful, they're like real priests though, no, no, they're real priests. Okay, yeah,
- 28:43Speaker 4: that's crazy.
- 28:44Speaker 2: It was like an interesting I mean, everyone needs.
- 28:46Speaker 1: A reason to find God. If that's your reason, I mean, yeah, reason.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Can't be anymore.
- 28:54Speaker 1: So did you meet any nice boys at.
- 28:56Speaker 4: The I did not well part of us because I
- 28:58Speaker 4: feel like I knew everybody there.
- 29:00Speaker 5: It was a very close friend of mine, and I
- 29:02Speaker 5: feel like I knew everybody, so I'd already kind of
- 29:03Speaker 5: like xed them all gone.
- 29:06Speaker 4: It's not gone through.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Make that clear.
- 29:09Speaker 5: No one there I had ever hooked that with. But
- 29:11Speaker 5: I will say I had looked at it and I
- 29:14Speaker 5: had had adopted out.
- 29:16Speaker 1: She assessed the situation.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I adopted out.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And also, when you're entering a small community like that,
- 29:22Speaker 1: you do one thing with one person.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you cannot go twice like that's no repeats,
- 29:28Speaker 5: no doubles. Then, in my defense, I have also I
- 29:31Speaker 5: do say that a lot. I'm not realizing I I
- 29:34Speaker 5: have not done any I haven't even.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Dipped, so not even a single dip. Not she's fasting. Yeah, yeah, okay, okay.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And so you so after that wedding, you needed the
- 29:48Speaker 1: break and you had to go to the spot.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Well, I do as well.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah, so we were in Croatia.
- 29:52Speaker 5: I think I slept for four hours in the middle
- 29:54Speaker 5: of the day, which was, Oh that's not glorious. Yeah,
- 29:58Speaker 5: she's what My new thing in old day is that
- 30:00Speaker 5: I love sleep, which is great. I don't know how old,
- 30:06Speaker 5: it doesn't.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Matter how old I am is yeah, And then afterwards
- 30:10Speaker 4: we went to Sliminia, which was amazing.
- 30:12Speaker 5: What was that like?
- 30:13Speaker 4: So I had never been. I have never heard of
- 30:16Speaker 4: anyone who had been.
- 30:17Speaker 2: It was It's very niche.
- 30:19Speaker 1: It's niche Instagram girly, I'm in Slvenia. Come with get
- 30:22Speaker 1: ready with me to go?

- 30:28Speaker 1: going to be it's summer.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Yes, it's going to So I went Lubliana is the town,
- 30:35Speaker 5: and it like the main town, and that was like
- 30:38Speaker 5: the cutest little town. Their whole thing is it's like
- 30:40Speaker 5: a dragon town that like it's They say that there's
- 30:43Speaker 5: a dragon that lives under the city that like wanted girl.
- 30:47Speaker 5: I don't know, just to pretend that I don't. I
- 30:49Speaker 5: think that's a legend. I don't know if that's actually true, and.
- 30:52Speaker 1: The comments correct us if it's true, let us know.
- 30:54Speaker 5: I mean maybe I don't know. I didn't meet I
- 30:56Speaker 5: didn't meet the dragon, but I was getting in trouble
- 30:59Speaker 5: for saying this. It was like it looks like it
- 31:00Speaker 5: belonged to I think looked like it.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Belonged to Louiana.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I was giving like Game of Thrones.
- 31:08Speaker 5: I was giving like Game of Thrones, fairy Tale Land,
- 31:11Speaker 5: Like I feel like everything in Epcot was trying to
- 31:14Speaker 5: look like Leana Tower.
- 31:16Speaker 1: She's like, this looks like it belongs in Vecas.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Yeah, like exactly, Okay.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I feel like people of Slovenia will not like to hear.
- 31:24Speaker 4: No, I know, and I should.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Probably the town would look great in Florida.
- 31:29Speaker 2: What I meant more Phone, I mean.
- 31:34Speaker 5: If you told me that was true, I believe it. No,
- 31:36Speaker 5: it was the most like iconic town. People were like,
- 31:40Speaker 5: oh yeah, like it's a smaller town. You don't just
- 31:41Speaker 5: spend too much time. And I was annoyed that we
- 31:44Speaker 5: didn't have more time. I felt like we should have
- 31:45Speaker 5: had Like we were thinking just a night out would
- 31:48Speaker 5: be fine, and I could have spent like a week
- 31:51Speaker 5: there was really really cool.
- 31:52Speaker 1: What's the hot girl summer drink in Slovenia?
- 31:55Speaker 6: Is it?
- 31:55Speaker 2: Like?
- 31:55Speaker 4: I honestly have no idea.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It was like the cocktail that you have because I
- 31:59Speaker 1: know every country is like a thing.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Idea was really drinking a little champagne. I feel like
- 32:06Speaker 4: so like when in Europe.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Why not?
- 32:08Speaker 4: Ye, yeah, and they are so much cheaper there. Yeah,
- 32:12Speaker 4: so I was.
- 32:13Speaker 5: And also after the wedding, I will say I was
- 32:16Speaker 5: slowing down a little bit, which was awful.
- 32:19Speaker 4: But then I know, was that a character?
- 32:21Speaker 3: No?
- 32:21Speaker 5: And then we went to like Bled, which was like
- 32:23Speaker 5: the most amazing town, like looked Game of Thrones again,
- 32:29Speaker 5: like beautiful, and there was this man who was like
- 32:33Speaker 5: sitting on the side of the path, I would say,
- 32:36Speaker 5: and we was selling these like beautiful paintings for like
- 32:39Speaker 5: four euros.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Of course I got like five.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Because because Alyssa can never just do the one thing.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Yes, fair, but but four euros. This man was very talented.
- 32:51Speaker 4: He deserved a little bit more.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Plus the fact that when we was a couple of
- 32:55Speaker 5: my friends, he was like when we were buying it,
- 32:58Speaker 5: he turned it over and painted like right then and
- 33:01Speaker 5: there a painting of each of us, like each of
- 33:05Speaker 5: us got one.
- 33:06Speaker 2: It was like Alyssa and.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Friends like a picture of me and he was it
- 33:11Speaker 5: was so nice, and we were asking him questions like
- 33:13Speaker 5: why are you only serving charging four years?
- 33:16Speaker 4: He's like, because I like lived my life.
- 33:17Speaker 5: He is like a full blown person that like now
- 33:20Speaker 5: was just like going to town and lived seven kilometers away,
- 33:25Speaker 5: was painting people. It was like the most beautiful setting
- 33:29Speaker 5: of this like, man, it was just Yes, it was amazing.
- 33:32Speaker 4: So now that's going to go in my apartment. Whenever
- 33:34Speaker 4: you come over, you will see it.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Okay, So come to the every time I go to
- 33:39Speaker 1: Alissa's house, I'm on plant care, which.
- 33:43Speaker 4: By the way, they're not doing great.
- 33:44Speaker 1: You need to come to the monster up because the
- 33:47Speaker 1: last time, didn't you like proved she truly she put
- 33:50Speaker 1: me to work. I was wearing gloves and everything. Yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and she had me setting up all the plant somehow.
- 33:56Speaker 4: I don't even know where those they're still there.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I don't know where they can climber.
- 33:58Speaker 1: That's the thing about a monster likes to climb.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Yes, that's him, that's him.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Why did you find that?
- 34:05Speaker 2: CJ's a wizard?
- 34:06Speaker 1: What and so did your friends also get one?
- 34:09Speaker 2: Yes?
- 34:10Speaker 4: Oh my god, you just found the guy.
- 34:13Speaker 1: He's really good? Is great?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Oh my god?
- 34:16Speaker 4: Well, I what is his name? I want to like
- 34:18Speaker 4: tell his works?
- 34:20Speaker 2: Bobby, b o b Bobby that's his name. Oh my god.
- 34:25Speaker 1: If you have a lost relative, let us know.
- 34:28Speaker 4: I can't believe he just found him. Yes, it was Bobby.
- 34:34Speaker 4: But if you're in Slavena in Lake Bled, look for Bobby.
- 34:38Speaker 2: He is amazing.
- 34:39Speaker 4: I'm going to give him a plug.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Well they're going.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Yeah, well we were trying to. The next people came
- 34:47Speaker 4: over and we were like, it's ten and he was like, no,
- 34:49Speaker 4: it's four.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Like dude, Bobby's ten.
- 34:52Speaker 4: It's ten.
- 34:53Speaker 2: But isn't that like think about that though, Like this
- 34:56Speaker 2: man who's super talented, he just wants to share his art,
- 34:59Speaker 2: so he's making it a accessible as possible. And we
- 35:01Speaker 2: as American people are so trying to disgusting capitals who
- 35:05Speaker 2: were like, you're not charging them.
- 35:08Speaker 1: He's like, no, I have healthcare.
- 35:09Speaker 5: It's fine, yeah, literally, do not need the money in
- 35:13Speaker 5: any way. I Yeah, so I bought four obviously.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Yes. My mother in fact got one from Mother's Day
- 35:20Speaker 4: this morning, so she's very excited. We will see.
- 35:23Speaker 1: So you did this is like a big bonding trip
- 35:26Speaker 1: for you and your friends?
- 35:27Speaker 2: Yes, and many people that part of the trip was
- 35:30Speaker 2: three of us.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, And so have you ever done other things
- 35:33Speaker 1: with your friends that that was like really bonding as
- 35:35Speaker 1: a group.
- 35:36Speaker 2: I don't know, piercings or tattoos or anything anything like
- 35:41Speaker 2: I did that with Melissa, that is actually that's true.
- 35:47Speaker 2: That's so funny. I think I was there, Yeah, yeah, yeah, do.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You get your nose pierced?
- 35:52Speaker 2: It was your nose, wasn't I having to get it
- 35:54Speaker 2: was my nose because I had to get it repierced
- 35:56Speaker 2: because it it closed during the pandemic pop out and
- 36:00Speaker 2: then whatever, I had to get it redone.
- 36:03Speaker 5: Okay, So here's my favorite part about that. We went
- 36:04Speaker 5: to a random tattoo place from that, which, by the way,
- 36:07Speaker 5: why did we do that?
- 36:08Speaker 3: Then?
- 36:09Speaker 2: But then the next time we went to Maria No,
- 36:11Speaker 2: we did.
- 36:13Speaker 5: This shitty place right, So that place I remember I
- 36:16Speaker 5: did it, and I like jolted or some not by much,
- 36:19Speaker 5: and I was like, he got really mad and he
- 36:22Speaker 5: was like, if you had.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Moved any more, I would have like taken your ear off.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Right, But you're so lucky. I'm so good. You're so lucky.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I'm so good. I remember. It was like a douche
- 36:32Speaker 2: she got.
- 36:33Speaker 5: And then when we went to Maria Tash they were like,
- 36:35Speaker 5: we do this to babies, like that is not true
- 36:38Speaker 5: that you like could have moved right, and you were
- 36:42Speaker 5: like this guy was was trying to make himself look better.
- 36:45Speaker 5: I know, which is why from now ever since then,
- 36:47Speaker 5: I will never go anywhere for any of them.
- 36:48Speaker 2: But Maria, it was a good experience at mariotas.
- 36:51Speaker 5: Something that's like right legit, Yeah, because we went to
- 36:54Speaker 5: this place and he literally, you know, he was like
- 36:56Speaker 5: in this like we did no research, right, We just
- 36:58Speaker 5: went it was on bleak, went down these rickety steps.
- 37:01Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like not good. We were all like, yep,
- 37:03Speaker 4: we're doing this. We're in at lunch. Uh, in the
- 37:05Speaker 4: middle of our lunch. Yeah, in a lunch.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I followed you to just.
- 37:11Speaker 4: So, Yes, I've bonded over a trip to a piercing
- 37:15Speaker 4: with me.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Yes, But did you ever bond with a bunch of
- 37:17Speaker 2: people and get like matching tattoos?
- 37:20Speaker 3: Oh?
- 37:20Speaker 4: Are you trying to hit that's something I see what's
- 37:22Speaker 4: going on?
- 37:26Speaker 5: Literally, Oh no, I see what's going I know what
- 37:30Speaker 5: story you're trying to get me to tell. Okay, So
- 37:32Speaker 5: I was in Porto. We had a friend, I had
- 37:36Speaker 5: a friend in from Australia. I had a friend from London.
- 37:40Speaker 5: I we obviously am from the US. We were all
- 37:43Speaker 5: together in Porto and we decided this is so cool.
- 37:47Speaker 5: We all live in different parts of the world, like we're.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Going to do this every year.
- 37:50Speaker 5: We're going to make sure we do a trip every
- 37:51Speaker 5: single year, and we're going to make it so that
- 37:54Speaker 5: we get a line for every.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Place that we go to.
- 37:57Speaker 6: And so you were dead, soberly sober absolutely, Yes, for
- 38:04Speaker 6: sure in Porto, which is not known for wine.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Wine Portugal.
- 38:11Speaker 5: Yes, And so we went to a place they did
- 38:16Speaker 5: not speak English. I had to call my friend who
- 38:18Speaker 5: was port and he was like, I don't this man
- 38:22Speaker 5: does not understand. He thinks all you're asking for is
- 38:24Speaker 5: a line, and I was like, no, that's what we're
- 38:26Speaker 5: asking for exactly what. Yes. So we got on the
- 38:30Speaker 5: back of our neck and we're like, this is such
- 38:32Speaker 5: a great idea. And then the next day we well,
- 38:35Speaker 5: not the next day. We were really still into it
- 38:37Speaker 5: the next day, and then like a month or two later,
- 38:39Speaker 5: it was like a curge all of this, Like there
- 38:41Speaker 5: are two ways this goes. One is we get the
- 38:43Speaker 5: one line and never again, or we do this and
- 38:47Speaker 5: we keep it up and we have a barcode on
- 38:49Speaker 5: the back, so there's no way this wins.
- 38:52Speaker 4: And so what ends up happening, of course.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Is that we did the one time never Yes, When
- 38:57Speaker 1: did you realize this was maybe a mistake.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Longer than it should have been, like about a month
- 39:02Speaker 5: and a half two months later, when people started.
- 39:05Speaker 4: Like making comments, right, what is that?
- 39:09Speaker 2: Well, so Alyssa comes back and she was just like,
- 39:11Speaker 2: well I did this thing. And I was like, all right,
- 39:14Speaker 2: let me see it, like what is it? And then
- 39:16Speaker 2: she shows it to me and I was like why
- 39:19Speaker 2: did you do this? And she was like, I don't
- 39:21Speaker 2: because I promised that I would, so I couldn't.
- 39:23Speaker 4: And you were like a loyal friend. Yes we did
- 39:26Speaker 4: say that, Yes I like it.
- 39:28Speaker 2: But Melissa said she's going to do something. I'll do it.
- 39:30Speaker 2: She'll do it, no matter how stupid it is, no
- 39:35Speaker 2: matter how much. In the end, she decided that she
- 39:37Speaker 2: doesn't really want to do it, but she said she would,
- 39:39Speaker 2: so she who was it?
- 39:41Speaker 4: Somebody? In fact, somebody want to I think it was
- 39:44Speaker 4: one of you.
- 39:45Speaker 5: But somebody came up with like a new story that
- 39:47Speaker 5: I thought was much better, and I started telling this story,
- 39:50Speaker 5: but like I would always end up not telling their
- 39:52Speaker 5: fruit story every time, so it defeated.
- 39:53Speaker 4: The purpose was that like when you die, it's like
- 39:57Speaker 4: the year that you were born and the year that
- 39:59Speaker 4: you die.
- 40:00Speaker 5: There's a line in between, and it's the line I
- 40:03Speaker 5: got the line in between, and I.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Was like, that's so beautiful.
- 40:06Speaker 1: That sounds like something a drunk person made up.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Yeah, but that's like the story I'm going to tell everyone.
- 40:10Speaker 5: But if you never once have I stuck to that
- 40:13Speaker 5: one story.
- 40:13Speaker 2: But the other thing about when the dash, there's supposed
- 40:18Speaker 2: to be dates between the dash and there's no date, no,
- 40:20Speaker 2: no the dash in between?
- 40:22Speaker 1: Where's your birthday? Though?
- 40:23Speaker 2: But where's the date?
- 40:24Speaker 1: Oh?
- 40:24Speaker 5: I see you I should have I'm not gonna do
- 40:26Speaker 5: that because youth date on it, right.
- 40:30Speaker 2: But so I don't know who told you this to
- 40:32Speaker 2: do this. This is the most ridiculous thing because the
- 40:34Speaker 2: whole thing I want to say was what do you
- 40:36Speaker 2: I wasn't me.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I think it was not me you to this.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I did not come up with it, not that I'm
- 40:44Speaker 4: not that clever.
- 40:45Speaker 2: But the only way to do it if it makes
- 40:47Speaker 2: sense that you nineteen whatever dash and then the end day.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And the thing about that also is.
- 40:53Speaker 1: That you have to die tattoos posthumously.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Yes, no, I'm not doing that. That's that's what I mean.
- 40:59Speaker 4: This is a whole plan is.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Well, I did not tell you to do I did
- 41:04Speaker 2: not tell you to do.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Put it in your will. Please finish the top two before.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Totally random thing about people in there in their wills.
- 41:12Speaker 2: But the woman who does my hair shout out to
- 41:15Speaker 2: Lorraine in her will. She has it that not to
- 41:18Speaker 2: straighten her hair smart because she's like really worried that
- 41:23Speaker 2: somebody might get over zealous and decide that her hair
- 41:26Speaker 2: needs doing.
- 41:27Speaker 4: People do get like they. I have seen it at
- 41:30Speaker 4: funerals where people I'm like, that is not the same
- 41:32Speaker 4: person who did.
- 41:33Speaker 1: That, right, that person's hair. Yeah, people are frying their
- 41:37Speaker 1: hair with the flat iron.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Yeah, well I'm not No, no, just.
- 41:40Speaker 1: People in general. I notice it now, and it's because
- 41:42Speaker 1: of Melissa. She talks about We've talked about this, and
- 41:46Speaker 1: once you said it, I can't unsee. You can't see
- 41:49Speaker 1: it now every time I see is the root.
- 41:51Speaker 2: You can't get rid of the prison, No, you know
- 41:53Speaker 2: it is.
- 41:53Speaker 5: It's also like the little curl things that like end
- 41:56Speaker 5: up you can never get rid of them.
- 41:58Speaker 1: And there's always one little I mean, uh, a celebrity.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I'll tell you who it was after one chunk in the.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Back, see exactly you missed? Yes, and it's still curly.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Yeah, this is what used to happen.
- 42:10Speaker 5: Like in high school, we would all use like really cheap,
- 42:13Speaker 5: uh flat irons and our hair looked fried, and I
- 42:18Speaker 5: stopped doing it. That's why I like, I'm wearing my
- 42:19Speaker 5: hair natural today. It's like my new thing is to
- 42:21Speaker 5: not do it looks really great.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Do you have any product in there?
- 42:25Speaker 4: I do with jav And aircream.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Okay, that is my favorite.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Now. It's nice.
- 42:30Speaker 4: It's got like it's got like a little bit of something.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I mean, if I'll bet you if you went to Lorraine,
- 42:35Speaker 2: she would like, wavy you up. She's always saying that,
- 42:39Speaker 2: how do you wavy? She'll know, She'll know, Lorraine, Yeah,
- 42:43Speaker 2: call me, I don't know. We're I'll go with you.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I'm bald.
- 42:52Speaker 1: And I sat there and hung out with Yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 2: I love it.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Will do appear.
- 43:00Speaker 2: She's the one who put Remember I want to get
- 43:03Speaker 2: a septem piercing.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Wouldn't that because I'm going to come.
- 43:06Speaker 4: I have a perfect place on Bleaker Street.
- 43:09Speaker 1: The stairs on Bleak Wait.
- 43:11Speaker 2: You you had said to you, asked Brad and he said, no,
- 43:16Speaker 2: I'm not allowed.
- 43:17Speaker 4: I'm going to be honest. I'm with Brad on this.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I would do it.
- 43:19Speaker 4: For the story. I think it's funny.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I'll get it and then we'll take it out.
- 43:23Speaker 2: What's that stuff?
- 43:24Speaker 1: I'll do it for a couple of photos and then
- 43:26Speaker 1: we'll take fine.
- 43:26Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, yeah, do it for the Instagram story of pain?
- 43:30Speaker 4: Do you see how I when I mean.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I've heard, I actually heard that the septum is less
- 43:35Speaker 2: painful than the nostril because the no, she was looking painful.
- 43:39Speaker 4: But it's like a cartilage versus not.
- 43:42Speaker 2: I feel like I felt to go through every layer.
- 43:45Speaker 1: And I watched it go through it. I was there.
- 43:47Speaker 4: I know I was there. We were all there.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Yes, I don't know. I must have been drunk.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Yeah, why did we go? You went to like why
- 43:54Speaker 4: did we go to Maria Tash? Afterwards?
- 43:56Speaker 1: You do it?
- 43:56Speaker 4: Redo it?
- 43:57Speaker 2: I had to redo it, take it. It fell out
- 44:01Speaker 2: during the pandemic and then nobody was doing stuff close
- 44:04Speaker 2: to the face, so I had to await.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of the pandemic, can we pull up the
- 44:08Speaker 1: photo again of Alyssa's air conditioner? God, what happened? What
- 44:13Speaker 1: happened during the pandemic to Alyssa's air.
- 44:15Speaker 4: CONDI during the pandemic, Yes, it was.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Because we were all on zoom and we facetimed you
- 44:20Speaker 1: because you're sure exploded.
- 44:22Speaker 4: And I think I never found out.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I never knew what this was like.
- 44:26Speaker 5: I think it was something like this place by the way,
- 44:29Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure it's illegal. I had no I had
- 44:32Speaker 5: no heat for two years I lived there, and I
- 44:37Speaker 5: like went to them and asked about it, and they
- 44:39Speaker 5: were like, we'll get to it. Then of course, two
- 44:42Speaker 5: years later was still not getting to it, and then
- 44:45Speaker 5: they had this whole thing happened and they were I
- 44:47Speaker 5: was like, what went wrong and they were like, I
- 44:48Speaker 5: don't know, And then like I never heard that.
- 44:51Speaker 2: What street were you living on? Christopher right?
- 44:53Speaker 4: I remember, Yeah, it was a terrible part.
- 44:56Speaker 5: It was a terrible I also remember that my I
- 45:00Speaker 5: was on the phone with my dad, I think, and
- 45:04Speaker 5: I was coming in and I like somehow I was
- 45:06Speaker 5: on the phone with him and there's a woman was
- 45:08Speaker 5: who was going in and she was like, isn't it
- 45:10Speaker 5: amazing that we can get into our building and into
- 45:14Speaker 5: our apartments just using a credit card. You don't need
- 45:17Speaker 5: a key, and you don't need to use our key.
- 45:18Speaker 5: And my dad overhears this and he is like, you
- 45:22Speaker 5: need to get out of.
- 45:22Speaker 2: That apartment immediately so dangerous, yes, and she.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Was bragging about it.
- 45:27Speaker 5: She was excited about like, yeah, I never I never
- 45:30Speaker 5: bring my keys in this amazing And I was like
- 45:33Speaker 5: say this, and then my dad was like, yep, and
- 45:36Speaker 5: we're moving and so yeah, yeah he was. So I
- 45:40Speaker 5: moved to Brooklyn soon after that, but like he literally
- 45:43Speaker 5: was like, it keeps me up at night now knowing
- 45:46Speaker 5: that my daughter is so unsafe, like it was a problem.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Do you want to read our dms for us to
- 45:51Speaker 1: want to read some reviews all the things people saw us? Okay?
- 45:54Speaker 4: Is it negative?
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Sending us positives.
- 45:58Speaker 2: The negative ones are really interesting.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Okay, this is tell us from the dms. These are
- 46:05Speaker 1: all the wild things y'all send us on the internet.
- 46:08Speaker 1: So we're going to get into it with Alyssa. Yeah,
- 46:11Speaker 1: extra special guest reader.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 46:14Speaker 5: While I'm too angry and tired to write an eloquent email, okay,
- 46:19Speaker 5: I still wanted to reach out to seek both of
- 46:21Speaker 5: your guidance, advice input regarding a truly shocking situation involving
- 46:25Speaker 5: the school board in my hometown. The board has banned
- 46:28Speaker 5: Mother of a Revolution from being performed at the upcoming
- 46:32Speaker 5: Spring Wind symphony performance, stating it's indoctrinating students. This from
- 46:37Speaker 5: a school that has had us singing religious songs in
- 46:39Speaker 5: a church every Christmas. I myself was cast as a
- 46:42Speaker 5: Lady of the Night in limis errab my shining moment
- 46:45Speaker 5: online only line and play in play making money in
- 46:49Speaker 5: your sleep.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Uh so proud.
- 46:52Speaker 5: The instructor has followed the school board's guidelines from the start,
- 46:55Speaker 5: but regardless they now have banned it a week frire
- 46:58Speaker 5: is this legal? How can I, as a community member
- 47:01Speaker 5: help fight back? I include the full meeting here, walk out, walk.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Out, do us sit in protest. That's my advice. That's
- 47:10Speaker 1: what I would do.
- 47:10Speaker 4: You would for a spring show, you would actually do that? Okay.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Wether of a Revolution was composed by Omar Thomas for
- 47:16Speaker 1: contemporary wind ensembles. Does not have lyrics, soulous and it's
- 47:22Speaker 1: about it has to do with trans LGBT issues. It's
- 47:28Speaker 1: like a celebration of bravery of trans women.
- 47:32Speaker 2: But it has no lyrics exactly.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so what's the big How is that in doctrine?
- 47:36Speaker 4: How would they even know what it was about unless
- 47:38Speaker 4: you actually did the research exactly.
- 47:40Speaker 1: So it's like it's not like preaching to the children.
- 47:43Speaker 1: It's a wind ensemble.
- 47:44Speaker 4: Yes, okay, it was so stupid, so you really would
- 47:48Speaker 4: like take it to this absolutely.
- 47:50Speaker 1: When I was in the fifth grade, I staged a
- 47:52Speaker 1: protest for what. They closed the playground. I'm not kidding,
- 47:55Speaker 1: and I alerted the press and they came. My parents
- 47:58Speaker 1: were called. They had a with the superintendent about you
- 48:02Speaker 1: don't don't fuck with me even in the fifth grade. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:05Speaker 1: keep swinging bitches, you can't hit me.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Wait, but she asked, is this legal? Is it legal?
- 48:10Speaker 1: I mean if the school board decided yeah, yeah, okay,
- 48:13Speaker 1: And then.
- 48:14Speaker 4: She says, how can I, as a Communian member help
- 48:16Speaker 4: fight back.
- 48:16Speaker 1: That fight back?
- 48:17Speaker 3: Ye?
- 48:18Speaker 1: Walk out? I think there was also there was a
- 48:20Speaker 1: walk out a similar situation this week. Oh wow, of
- 48:23Speaker 1: a song that was I guess there's a lot of
- 48:27Speaker 1: trans orchestra music happening lately. Maybe this is the same situation,
- 48:31Speaker 1: but maybe Yeah, but they they also all the kids
- 48:35Speaker 1: walked out.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Oh I love headline, Yes that, I love I love
- 48:38Speaker 2: kids teaching adults, yes, yes, yes, say.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Of the bringing back Peter Pan all of a sudden.
- 48:44Speaker 5: Anyway, okay, please, I can't either the incessant giggling.
- 48:51Speaker 2: So tiring.
- 48:53Speaker 4: Are you constantly?
- 48:56Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sorry. We have a good time and
- 48:58Speaker 2: we like each other.
- 49:00Speaker 1: God for we experienced joy.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Is their happiness here? That's not okay, that's.
- 49:05Speaker 2: A problem.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Expressions of joy.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Maybe that's something to look internal.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 49:13Speaker 5: The next one could not get through the first one.
- 49:15Speaker 5: I tried car buying. She repeats her privileged status and
- 49:20Speaker 5: he brags about blowing through money.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Okay, let me just say something about that. Does this me? Right? Yeah? Yeah,
- 49:27Speaker 2: So I think we were talking about I know, I
- 49:32Speaker 2: do remember. I think it was like, oh, how are
- 49:35Speaker 2: you like what happened to you this weekend? And I said,
- 49:38Speaker 2: I have a bone to pick with the car industry, right,
- 49:42Speaker 2: And I said that I'm going to complain about something.
- 49:45Speaker 2: But I know this sounds privileged. I know that it's privileged.
- 49:49Speaker 2: And my problem that day was I had gone to
- 49:52Speaker 2: buy a car and I could not understand why it
- 49:54Speaker 2: took off fucking day, right, And what I wanted to
- 49:58Speaker 2: make clear was like, yes, well, I was annoyed to
- 50:00Speaker 2: how long it took. I also understood that I was
- 50:03Speaker 2: lucky to be in the position. That's what I was
- 50:06Speaker 2: trying to say this apparently pissed this person up. I'm
- 50:09Speaker 2: fucking sorry.
- 50:10Speaker 5: Okay, that's like you know that there's always somebody worse off,
- 50:14Speaker 5: Like there's like that saying that people say when like
- 50:17Speaker 5: ever you have any like you're not allowed to have
- 50:20Speaker 5: any complaints anything bad in your life if you are in.
- 50:23Speaker 4: A position of privilege, which is obviously not true.
- 50:26Speaker 5: Right, you can also be aware that there are people
- 50:28Speaker 5: who are worship scenario, then still be okay, R comfortable.
- 50:32Speaker 2: That was the point that I was trying to make. Yes,
- 50:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry if you were so offended.
- 50:36Speaker 5: By yes, yes, especially if you started with I know
- 50:39Speaker 5: I'm coming from a place of privilege.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Yes, and this is whatever that pissed this person off
- 50:44Speaker 2: more than anything.
- 50:45Speaker 4: Yes, Yes, I mean I don't have a car, but
- 50:46Speaker 4: it's fine.
- 50:49Speaker 1: On a show.
- 50:50Speaker 4: And oh my god, is there a negative of me?
- 50:52Speaker 1: I'd like to leave a review of the three of
- 50:55Speaker 1: us in our friendship. Oh my god, I have a
- 50:57Speaker 1: memorialized in a text message.
- 50:59Speaker 4: This is Can you send me a seasoned desist?
- 51:01Speaker 1: No, I did send you.
- 51:04Speaker 6: A real one.
- 51:05Speaker 1: We'll pull that up. The season desist I had to work.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Oh I still have it.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Okay, it was Basically, she took me to a sample
- 51:11Speaker 1: sale and dragged me there and I was like, my friend,
- 51:15Speaker 1: I was like, I don't really want to go, but
- 51:17Speaker 1: you're like, I promise there's men's clothing.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Oh right, And there was gotten there all the way
- 51:22Speaker 2: there and.
- 51:22Speaker 1: It was all women's clothing. And I sent you a
- 51:24Speaker 1: season decision.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Said, and you said something about that I owed you
- 51:26Speaker 5: Skittles for life or something.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Yeah, are they?
- 51:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:30Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I'm any minute, any minute.
- 51:33Speaker 1: I'll eat anything. Stop this.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Earlier there was a full season desist. I kept it.
- 51:40Speaker 1: I notized, Yeah, I.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Think I was, wasn't I the witness?
- 51:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Okay, so this is from twenty nineteen. Of
- 51:48Speaker 1: us were attempting around the time to go somewhere and
- 51:51Speaker 1: do something, and some of us were upstairs, some of
- 51:56Speaker 1: us were downstairs, and we're trying to just coordinate getting out,
- 52:00Speaker 1: literally out the door of someone's apartment. Okay, text f
- 52:03Speaker 1: for Melissa. This on the group chat. Alyssa Meyer says, downstairs,
- 52:07Speaker 1: coming up, Melissa. Albranch says, how are you getting there?
- 52:11Speaker 1: Alissa says with you. Melissa says, okay, I'm coming up.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Alyssa says, will come down. Now. Alissa says, I'm down.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Melissa says, omg, the two of you are going stuck
- 52:25Speaker 1: them down in the elevator trying to find each other.
- 52:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I don't remember, but yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 2: I'm sure it happens.
- 52:35Speaker 4: With each other.
- 52:36Speaker 2: You remember them? No, oh, okaye, each other.
- 52:38Speaker 1: You're probably in the same elevator car. I'm on my
- 52:42Speaker 1: way up. I'm coming down. I just got I just
- 52:45Speaker 1: got up.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Well, what I think is funny is like my anger
- 52:48Speaker 2: is so predictable. I like, I get so bissed off
- 52:51Speaker 2: and I'm like, you know what, fuck the both of you?
- 52:53Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Yeah, especially because it's so easy for me to cancel
- 52:57Speaker 2: plans and be like, I don't want to do this.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Come back.
- 53:01Speaker 5: The number of times I've tried to see a Broadway
- 53:02Speaker 5: show with you and you're like, is it past five o'clock?
- 53:04Speaker 4: Yes, every Broadway show is past five o'clock.
- 53:08Speaker 2: No, it's some of them, Like I don't like it
- 53:11Speaker 2: when they started eight.
- 53:13Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a really big intention, but you don't
- 53:16Speaker 4: see the show.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Well, I have to tell you. What's really interesting is
- 53:19Speaker 2: like I think at least once I've given my ticket
- 53:22Speaker 2: away a ticket that I've paid for.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Because I'm not doing this.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Because immediately I start thinking about time. What time am
- 53:31Speaker 2: I going to get out? Yeah, I gotta take the
- 53:34Speaker 2: train by the time I get home, you know what.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Never mind, you do have a good time.
- 53:38Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I think I might have been
- 53:40Speaker 5: at that show you gave your ticket away.
- 53:43Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure I had to bring.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Somebody else with you. I want to I want to
- 53:47Speaker 2: read this. I want to read this because I think
- 53:48Speaker 2: it's really really funny. I do love both these people.
- 53:53Speaker 2: They're so smart and funny. The three stars. They gave
- 53:56Speaker 2: us three stars. By the way, the three stars is
- 53:58Speaker 2: because it's so unc comfortable to listen to as a
- 54:01Speaker 2: white dude. Michael clearly has a lot more power and
- 54:04Speaker 2: privilege in the world acknowledge. But in the friendship, it's
- 54:07Speaker 2: all Melissa.
- 54:10Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 54:11Speaker 2: I'm not sure she actually likes Michael, and it seems
- 54:14Speaker 2: and it seems like Michael is full of nervous laughter
- 54:17Speaker 2: waiting to be dragged by her. I am uncomfortable.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I will say.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Beautiful, beautiful, thank you what an mpath.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Beautiful because you're the victim in the situation.
- 54:29Speaker 2: You love that Okay.
- 54:31Speaker 4: But here's the thing.
- 54:32Speaker 5: One of the best things about you is all of
- 54:34Speaker 5: your one liners that I have used to take notes on.
- 54:37Speaker 4: Do you remember that?
- 54:39Speaker 5: Okay, go kick rocks, kick rocks, no socks. You are welcome,
- 54:45Speaker 5: wanting and invited.
- 54:46Speaker 2: I say that all the time.
- 54:47Speaker 4: Yes, something about.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Behind God's bag, when when God was a child.
- 54:53Speaker 5: When God was I've been around since God was a child.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Something about lipstick, like when you pack your lipstick or something.
- 55:02Speaker 5: I have them all written down.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Mother has lived ship.
- 55:07Speaker 5: Yeah, that happens. Yeah, that happens. Behind God's back is
- 55:09Speaker 5: my favorite.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Or like when something is far away, I'm like I
- 55:12Speaker 2: don't want to go there, and you're like why because
- 55:14Speaker 2: behind God on not going.
- 55:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:16Speaker 1: So thank you for joining us. We're gonna wrap up.
