  SPEAKER_00: Have you ever had an experience where you thought you were going to die?

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've been in a bad car accident or you've had a close call in an airplane
• 0:31
  SPEAKER_00: or while you're swimming.
• 0:33
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've had some kind of medical emergency.
• 0:36
  SPEAKER_00: Well, I had one of those scary experiences years ago.

  SPEAKER_00: One morning I hopped into the shower.
• 0:41
  SPEAKER_00: I was feeling completely normal and I was thinking of how busy my schedule was at work that day.

  SPEAKER_00: I had a huge presentation later that morning.

  SPEAKER_00: and all of a sudden i got this strange sick feeling it washed over me like a wave

  SPEAKER_00: it's hard to describe it it started at my head and it slid all the way down to my

  SPEAKER_00: feet i remember thinking this is really weird and then the room started spinning
• 1:06
  SPEAKER_00: and i was too dizzy to stand i remember thinking my heart was going to beat right

  SPEAKER_00: out of my chest
• 1:12
  SPEAKER_00: I had never felt so unwell in my life.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_00: And then my mind sort of went dark and I thought, is this how I'm going to die?

  SPEAKER_00: Well,
• 1:22
  SPEAKER_00: after an ambulance ride to the hospital and I had some really good emergency room doctors,
• 1:26
  SPEAKER_00: they figured out the problem and thankfully I recovered and it wasn't my time to go.

  SPEAKER_00: But if you've ever had the experience of thinking you're about to die,
• 1:35
  SPEAKER_00: you'll understand when I say in a moment,
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_00: everything becomes crystal clear.
• 1:41
  SPEAKER_00: You realize what's important.
• 1:43
  SPEAKER_00: I mean, in a time like that, you can ask yourself, am I right with God?
• 1:48
  SPEAKER_00: Have I believed and surrendered my life to him?
• 1:51
  SPEAKER_00: Am I going to heaven?
• 1:54
  SPEAKER_00: And on the flip side,
• 1:54
  SPEAKER_00: you realize what's not important,
• 1:57
  SPEAKER_00: like any grudges or unforgiveness you've been holding onto.

  SPEAKER_00: Or that boss that you're so eager to please that you'll sacrifice your family time for them.

  SPEAKER_00: Or the fight you had with your spouse or a loved one or a family member.
• 2:12
  SPEAKER_00: Because it's in that crucial moment.
• 2:15
  SPEAKER_00: You aren't thinking about how many times you went to church or how far up the
• 2:19
  SPEAKER_00: corporate ladder you've climbed or how many awards you've won.
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_00: The only thing that matters is your relationship with God.
• 2:29
  SPEAKER_00: And it's easy to think you have plenty of time to make things right.
• 2:33
  SPEAKER_00: But many times people pass from this life to the next without any warning.
• 2:39
  SPEAKER_00: A lot of people put off thinking about it.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_00: Or some may think they'll have time to ask for forgiveness and they'll have time to
• 2:47
  SPEAKER_00: change their life around later.
• 2:50
  SPEAKER_00: But as you know, no one knows the day of their death.
• 2:54
  SPEAKER_00: Hebrews 9.27, I'm going to read out of the New King James Version.

  SPEAKER_00: It says, We're all going to face God one day, and he will judge us.

  SPEAKER_00: If today was your last day, would you be ready to meet Jesus?
• 3:15
  SPEAKER_00: The Bible explains how we can be ready.
• 3:19
  SPEAKER_00: Acts 6 verses 30 and 31 says, and he brought them out and said, sirs, what must I do to be saved?

  SPEAKER_00: So they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

  SPEAKER_00: When your time comes and you're faced with death, you can have a peace that passes all understanding.

  SPEAKER_00: John 5 24 says,
• 3:43
  SPEAKER_00: Most assuredly,
• 3:44
  SPEAKER_00: I say to you,
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_00: he who hears my word and believes in him who sent me has everlasting life and shall
• 3:52
  SPEAKER_00: not come into judgment,
• 3:53
  SPEAKER_00: but has passed from death into life.
• 3:57
  SPEAKER_00: I encourage you not to put things off.

  SPEAKER_00: Make things right with God today.
