- 0:46Speaker 3: I'm you're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the
- 0:48Speaker 3: Sports Shock Wayne Gandee. P Diddy, bad producer. Good morning.
- 0:57Speaker 8: Take that Pee Diddy wether you said, P Diddy? What
- 1:02Speaker 8: you want me to say?
- 1:04Speaker 3: You got the floor? Why why are you looking over
- 1:06Speaker 3: here at me? Oh?
- 1:10Speaker 8: A great job by your lawyers man, you know, even
- 1:14Speaker 8: though you're still looking at some time. Make the best
- 1:17Speaker 8: out of my brother and we'll see you on the
- 1:19Speaker 8: other side.
- 1:21Speaker 9: I don't know, Big Kenny P Diddy, I think has
- 1:26Speaker 9: benefited from what uh. Celebrities like a Ray Lewis, celebrities
- 1:34Speaker 9: like a Kevin Spacey. Uh celebrities like a Harvey Weinstein
- 1:43Speaker 9: and R. Kelly benefited from for a long time, and
- 1:48Speaker 9: that was that you can't be convicted of being a
- 1:51Speaker 9: horrible person federally, that's not a federal crime. People wanted
- 1:56Speaker 9: to convict his lifestyle. They wanted to convict his morals,
- 2:02Speaker 9: and unfortunately those crimes didn't have any prosecutorial precedent.
- 2:12Speaker 3: You don't.
- 2:13Speaker 9: You can't convict a person from being horrible. And now
- 2:15Speaker 9: the stuff they could convict on, they didn't present the
- 2:18Speaker 9: kind of evidence that could get him. Does he deserve
- 2:21Speaker 9: to be celebrated. I don't celebrate people who willfully do wrong.
- 2:29Speaker 9: But because of our sensibilities, what is wrong? We talked
- 2:33Speaker 9: about sensibilities before we can P.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Did it? I'm gonna keep coming to you every time
- 2:39Speaker 3: you reach for that phone, so get ready for it.
- 2:41Speaker 3: P did it? I mean, I'm with Kenny. I think that.
- 2:47Speaker 8: I don't really think he benefit from the celebrities, because
- 2:50Speaker 8: if that was the case, he would most of them.
- 2:52Speaker 9: He will know my benefited from the celebrity in that
- 2:55Speaker 9: people see you as a big fish. Now we overstep
- 2:59Speaker 9: what we can actually he proved Ray Lewis. We remember
- 3:03Speaker 9: that case. They made a concerted effort. No, we're gonna
- 3:07Speaker 9: time all together, and we gonna And someone told that prosecutor, man,
- 3:12Speaker 9: I don't think we can.
- 3:13Speaker 3: No, we gonna.
- 3:14Speaker 9: And then when they couldn't get him, then everybody tied
- 3:18Speaker 9: to it had to be released. And you we we
- 3:22Speaker 9: saw the thing recently with Tory Lanes and Makan.
- 3:25Speaker 3: You didn't let him finish. Oh no, I'm just saying
- 3:30Speaker 3: I thought even done. No, he said he agree with Kenny.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Couldn't you go ahead.
- 3:34Speaker 8: When I said, I agree with like the different like
- 3:36Speaker 8: as you said that, Like there's a lot of cases
- 3:39Speaker 8: out there in the past we've seen that benefit like
- 3:43Speaker 8: the lifestyle. They want to go after the lifestyle, like
- 3:45Speaker 8: the Rico charges. Really how I was still trying to
- 3:48Speaker 8: figure how you get a reco charge with one person? Uh,
- 3:51Speaker 8: if there's a most time Rico charges what we just
- 3:54Speaker 8: recently saw was like twenty to thirty in a group.
- 3:58Speaker 8: So a lot of the thing was to me, he
- 4:00Speaker 8: was a lot of reaching. I think there's a lot
- 4:03Speaker 8: of people still want to convict him because of the
- 4:06Speaker 8: video of him.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yeah, he guess he should have been did well.
- 4:11Speaker 8: He got caught beating her and a lot of people
- 4:14Speaker 8: want to steal. But that's what he wasn't on trial
- 4:16Speaker 8: for assault or beating Cassidy. She got thirty million for that.
- 4:20Speaker 8: She was just forced to testify to make we once again,
- 4:24Speaker 8: to make a man look. They wanted to put his
- 4:26Speaker 8: lifestyle and shame him that who he was or the
- 4:30Speaker 8: things that he does.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Comand you Greg, he did it. I thought it was.
- 4:39Speaker 10: Very interesting that what he was found guilty of is
- 4:44Speaker 10: it was a law that was enacted maybe at least
- 4:48Speaker 10: one hundred and fifty years ago. The context of it
- 4:52Speaker 10: has changed. He he's facing twenty years still. So I mean,
- 5:02Speaker 10: I'm not I'm not celebrating anything like well, I mean,
- 5:06Speaker 10: at least it's not a rico.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Maybe that's something for him to be feel good about.
- 5:10Speaker 8: Yeah, they're gonna give him some time because of the
- 5:12Speaker 8: fact they wouldn't even give him the.
- 5:14Speaker 10: Time just because and because of a something that could
- 5:18Speaker 10: be considered a technicality.
- 5:20Speaker 11: Uh.
- 5:20Speaker 3: You look at like with like with O. J.
- 5:22Speaker 10: Simpson when he went to prison, it was someone had
- 5:26Speaker 10: a gun that made it armed robbery and saying no
- 5:29Speaker 10: one leaves the room that made it kidnapping. So it's
- 5:32Speaker 10: kind of the same thing here and it looks at
- 5:35Speaker 10: you think of it, if the judge is going to
- 5:37Speaker 10: try to make an example of it.
- 5:39Speaker 3: So, so how much time are you thinking?
- 5:43Speaker 10: It'll probably be like, it'll probably be some kind of
- 5:47Speaker 10: suspended sentence, like no time at all. Yeah, he may
- 5:50Speaker 10: not do time at all, but I'm not it's not
- 5:53Speaker 10: out of the realm possibility. But you gotta put your
- 5:56Speaker 10: dollar on something. But I would i would say no
- 5:58Speaker 10: time at all. It's going to be like a long
- 6:00Speaker 10: suspended sentence.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Big kitty, what kind of time we're looking at?
- 6:05Speaker 9: And this is just my personal opinion, the fact that
- 6:07Speaker 9: they would not allow him bail after being found not
- 6:12Speaker 9: guilty on the federal charges and guilty of two charges
- 6:18Speaker 9: of the Man Act, which Jared says he hadn't heard
- 6:20Speaker 9: of since smoking in the bandit so it's been not
- 6:24Speaker 9: used in a long time. But it seems to be
- 6:28Speaker 9: a bit of we're going to steal get you for
- 6:31Speaker 9: as much as we can get you. So I'm I'm
- 6:35Speaker 9: wondering if they're not going to try and give him
- 6:36Speaker 9: the max ten for both, ten for both, ten for
- 6:42Speaker 9: both and and I'll say ten for both, just to
- 6:46Speaker 9: offend you and make you go okay. I'll do five
- 6:50Speaker 9: for both, so at the minimum, Mama, try and hit
- 6:52Speaker 9: him with a dime, you know.
- 6:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm thinking probably possibly five years for each one.
- 7:01Speaker 8: Hopefully probably won't hit him with the whole ten. But hey,
- 7:06Speaker 8: you know, like I know, he's a New Yorker, got
- 7:09Speaker 8: the gentleman is sitting in the office, have a talk.
- 7:12Speaker 8: Hopefully he can get a part, and I mean, that's
- 7:14Speaker 8: what he's That's what he's gonna think he could bank on.
- 7:16Speaker 3: If not, he's going to do the whole ten.
- 7:18Speaker 8: I'm pretty for sure he's gonna give him five on
- 7:21Speaker 8: each one of those accounts.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Anything else we need to discuss. I wanted to get
- 7:26Speaker 3: that off the board. Everybody can get there diddy moment
- 7:30Speaker 3: and right off the bat, so we can get the sports.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I just want sure. You know, that's been much driven
- 7:35Speaker 3: in the media for the last four or five days.
- 7:38Speaker 8: So oh man, there's been so many stories there because
- 7:41Speaker 8: I was, oh, he free, oh one count one charge,
- 7:45Speaker 8: And then finally I was saying, are they I knew
- 7:48Speaker 8: the jurors and deliberation, and I was like, let me
- 7:50Speaker 8: see what's really going on. Then when I saw the
- 7:53Speaker 8: counts and the charges for myself, I was like, okay,
- 7:55Speaker 8: because you it was so many Oh, did he's free?
- 7:57Speaker 9: Did he free social media? He's free, free, free, but
- 7:59Speaker 9: he he's lot free. And one thing I would like
- 8:02Speaker 9: to ask is did he sports jock?
- 8:07Speaker 3: I think that shun Puffy Comb's shun John Comb's is
- 8:14Speaker 3: a criminal. I think that we live in a country
- 8:19Speaker 3: where our justice system is flawed because the people in
- 8:23Speaker 3: the justice system do not work together to make sure
- 8:27Speaker 3: that whatever crime that is being committed is actually researched
- 8:36Speaker 3: and placed upon the person who commits the crime. So
- 8:41Speaker 3: we do a lot of back and forth defend this
- 8:44Speaker 3: fine loopholes. So we do ourselves a disservice because of
- 8:49Speaker 3: the court system as itself. To me, the defense attorney
- 8:54Speaker 3: and the prosecutor sole job should be trying to figure
- 8:58Speaker 3: out did the person do this crime or not not
- 9:02Speaker 3: get somebody off on a crime. In this case with Diddy,
- 9:06Speaker 3: did I ever think it was racketeering? No, because I
- 9:11Speaker 3: feel like he's a narcissist, So whatever he was going
- 9:16Speaker 3: to be doing was coming from him and rack and teering.
- 9:19Speaker 3: It takes typically a group of people of people, so
- 9:25Speaker 3: it was just him. I can see where they were
- 9:27Speaker 3: going because they were trying to throw a wide net.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Probably it sounds like you're taking this kind of party
- 9:33Speaker 3: everywhere out of the country, across state lines, you know,
- 9:38Speaker 3: anywhere you can get these people. You're taking John Love
- 9:43Speaker 3: a Boy and Sally fall Through and y'all are just
- 9:47Speaker 3: flying around the world. Maybe that so I never thought
- 9:49Speaker 3: they were going to get him on the racketeering part
- 9:53Speaker 3: of this case. I'm glad that they did not give
- 9:57Speaker 3: him bail at least through the fourth of July. I
- 10:02Speaker 3: think the judge made a wise decision there to keep
- 10:05Speaker 3: him incarcerated because the optics of him we're talking about
- 10:10Speaker 3: take that definitely would have been a yacht party, definitely
- 10:19Speaker 3: to wherever location he would be limited would show up.
- 10:24Speaker 3: They got it. He has enough menyon. Now. He might
- 10:27Speaker 3: not have the a list of names anymore because those
- 10:31Speaker 3: are pr nightmares right now, but he has enough of
- 10:35Speaker 3: those people that were outside the court putting the baby
- 10:38Speaker 3: oil on. And he's the kind of guy that might,
- 10:43Speaker 3: in the time you let him have bail, start a
- 10:46Speaker 3: baby oil line because he sees himself as the tough
- 10:50Speaker 3: line yes hip hop mogul, Yes sir from thirty years
- 10:54Speaker 3: ago to now, bench shut no matter what he's been doing.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It all slides off of him him. So you know,
- 11:02Speaker 3: I'm expecting Diddy oils infusions, bad Baby coming to every
- 11:12Speaker 3: gas station that you can, you know, get it to.
- 11:18Speaker 3: But it will be interesting to see the cynics in
- 11:21Speaker 3: uh did he is fifty five fifty six years old.
- 11:25Speaker 3: So from what you got, you're going with no time,
- 11:28Speaker 3: Big Kenny. Seems like maybe he's around the ten year yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 3: and the bad producer is around the five year, No
- 11:36Speaker 3: five for each sentence, oh five for each sentence. So
- 11:38Speaker 3: looking at it, ten years years incarcerated. But we are
- 11:43Speaker 3: as you said, Big Kenny, that was neat for real,
- 11:49Speaker 3: spot on when you said, and unfortunately, you can't charge
- 11:56Speaker 3: your person for being a bad person, because I'd be
- 11:58Speaker 3: under the trust you you can charge people for being horrible.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I'd have got the chair by now, I'm sure. And
- 12:06Speaker 3: sometimes you do find yourself in these situations. From a
- 12:11Speaker 3: historical point, it's like Mike Tyson, Yeah, you felt like
- 12:15Speaker 3: someone like a Mike Tyson, or even when I be
- 12:17Speaker 3: talking about with pac Man Jones. You keep doing a
- 12:21Speaker 3: little small, one or two things. Eventually some prosecutor gonna
- 12:26Speaker 3: put them all in a bowl and roll the dice
- 12:29Speaker 3: with it and see if he can create this whole
- 12:31Speaker 3: minute to society mindset. And sometimes you diddy and sometimes
- 12:37Speaker 3: you end up r Kelly exactly. So we'll be back
- 12:41Speaker 3: more than Sports Jock Show. Right after this, the men
- 12:46Speaker 3: sing to checking in a five star Sweet with some

- 16:14Speaker 8: He let it up?
- 16:15Speaker 7: Stick a kid?
- 16:16Speaker 3: What ja?
- 16:17Speaker 1: What's right to this?
- 16:18Speaker 3: Woe shock showing this woe shock wing Canzie. We are
- 16:22Speaker 3: on the third day of July. I hope is going
- 16:25Speaker 3: well for you, getting ready for the fourth Joey Chestnuts
- 16:29Speaker 3: back at the Nathan's hot Dog contest. Correct, yes, And
- 16:33Speaker 3: then he worked it out, got away from the other
- 16:36Speaker 3: hot dog company. Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 9: Yeah, and he's batting with Nathans yeah, and about to
- 16:41Speaker 9: take his thrown again.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I get.
- 16:43Speaker 9: I think the dude that has been sitting on the
- 16:45Speaker 9: top since he left his max is like twenty six
- 16:49Speaker 9: less than Joey Chestnuts minimum. You see what I'm saying,
- 16:52Speaker 9: Like this dude topped out of like fifty four hot dogs,
- 16:55Speaker 9: Joey Chestnuts up to seventy six right now.
- 16:58Speaker 3: So you know nathan hot Dog competition, which is a
- 17:02Speaker 3: big deal. On the fourth Joey Chestnut is the most
- 17:06Speaker 3: dominant eater that we have seen really in our lifetime.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Here he doesn't always win, but it seems like he
- 17:15Speaker 3: always wins no matter what the food category is. It
- 17:21Speaker 3: doesn't matter what is he is, he he's eating.
- 17:24Speaker 18: But p E.
- 17:26Speaker 19: T A.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Is planning a protests tomorrow, so I don't know if
- 17:33Speaker 3: they're just going to stand around, and Peter is the.
- 17:37Speaker 9: People the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and
- 17:42Speaker 9: they're protesting a eating contest.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Well, they say they plan on to protest the Nathan
- 17:47Speaker 3: hot dog contests on the grounds that Joey's eating to
- 17:53Speaker 3: consuming too much meat at once. When the Peter would
- 17:58Speaker 3: come about eating, I thought that would boas at home too,
- 18:01Speaker 3: when he's practicing. I thought Peter was more like the
- 18:05Speaker 3: meat coats. And I'm saying, are you gonna stop by
- 18:09Speaker 3: my house if I got some licks on the grill?
- 18:11Speaker 3: I'm saying, Peter, you saying eating too much? Are you?
- 18:14Speaker 3: Is this a diet thing? Is this health based? Where
- 18:17Speaker 3: there's other options that besides meat than meat? You could
- 18:21Speaker 3: have to foo dog your tofo dog kind of no,
- 18:24Speaker 3: no something. Now, remember you tried to tell me some
- 18:28Speaker 3: recipe and trying to make it sound delicious. A soy
- 18:31Speaker 3: dog is different different close cousins, I'm saying, but one
- 18:43Speaker 3: of them from the suburbs. That's one of the tofu
- 18:47Speaker 3: from like the inner city living TOFU homes. You know
- 18:50Speaker 3: what I'm saying, Soy, so, I got a nice little
- 18:54Speaker 3: single family rant style out out, you know, in Cobb
- 18:58Speaker 3: County somewhere. Maybe that's where they're gonna come protest that
- 19:01Speaker 3: you have other options. You have a veggie dog, a
- 19:05Speaker 3: soy dog, Tofu dog. You don't actually have to have
- 19:10Speaker 3: the original pork beef chicken blend. And and all I'm
- 19:16Speaker 3: saying is I'll be having that for you. Yeah you
- 19:20Speaker 3: should have.
- 19:21Speaker 9: You'll be grinding yours on sites like you'll hear the
- 19:24Speaker 9: squeals and everything in.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Sports Jackson with a pig lining the casing.
- 19:31Speaker 9: In natural pig. Yes, you do when it's that split.
- 19:37Speaker 9: But why Nate, No, no, no, I understand that part.
- 19:41Speaker 9: That makes complete sense. If you've ever had a smoke
- 19:44Speaker 9: sausage on the grill, if it don't pop, then that's communal.
- 19:48Speaker 3: That is, that's communism.
- 19:50Speaker 9: But I'm saying why Nathan's why did they choose this
- 19:53Speaker 9: brand is the biggest brand, because really you can't police
- 19:58Speaker 9: people's appetite if I I want to eat, I mean,
- 20:01Speaker 9: because he's a professional eater.
- 20:02Speaker 3: So you say he's eating too much, but.
- 20:04Speaker 9: Sitting around the backyard after some of that, ooh, weell
- 20:08Speaker 9: and a couple of hot dogs.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Think about the new hijacking. The new hijacking is to
- 20:15Speaker 3: go to any kind of competition and protests and protests
- 20:20Speaker 3: think a well, most of the stories we bring to
- 20:23Speaker 3: you these are, you know, the people in Minnesota who
- 20:27Speaker 3: take themselves glue themselves court to the court because the
- 20:31Speaker 3: owner has some steak, small steak and a chicken farm
- 20:36Speaker 3: that they felt didn't kill the chickens propertically enough or something.
- 20:41Speaker 9: The chickens had some disease and they were unethically killed.
- 20:46Speaker 9: Which I've always had a problem with that too, is
- 20:49Speaker 9: that you know, you didn't humanely kill them enough.
- 20:52Speaker 3: You didn't, You weren't humane enough, and you're killing them even.
- 20:55Speaker 8: Though we ride by and you see a truck with
- 20:58Speaker 8: about twenty thousand chicks only just packed in.
- 21:01Speaker 3: We see people at all kinds of sporting events, you know,
- 21:04Speaker 3: which has truly become uh the even Wimbledon is going on.
- 21:11Speaker 3: We've seen that the French open people have come and
- 21:14Speaker 3: handcuffed themselves to the next and to disturb So I
- 21:18Speaker 3: guess for the fourth of July, Nathan's is a big
- 21:21Speaker 3: event that people watch. Not a lot of sports goes
- 21:25Speaker 3: on outside of Wimbledon, right, golf, it starts out that weekend.
- 21:30Speaker 3: You got the nothing about the actual day tomorrow, you's.
- 21:37Speaker 8: Baseball, like I said, you have a depending on it
- 21:39Speaker 8: because it's falling on the weekend.
- 21:41Speaker 3: You will have some golf that John dere is going
- 21:43Speaker 3: on in Illinois. So now when I always wondered because
- 21:46Speaker 3: I don't know anyone that's part of Peter, or at
- 21:48Speaker 3: least anyone that has told me that they are part
- 21:51Speaker 3: of Peter, And I was wondering, are they like that
- 21:54Speaker 3: in every aspect of their life?
- 21:56Speaker 9: Like are you with Peter? But you drive a diesel
- 21:59Speaker 9: truck like I want to that kind of stuff, Like, right,
- 22:04Speaker 9: I'm not really green. I just love animals that kind
- 22:08Speaker 9: of thing. Or is it through and through everything is
- 22:11Speaker 9: eco friendly in their house?
- 22:13Speaker 3: And no, I don't know.
- 22:15Speaker 10: I think you're less likely to find someone who's a
- 22:18Speaker 10: part of Pita and eco friendly all the way through.
- 22:21Speaker 10: I think you're less likely to find that, like someone's
- 22:24Speaker 10: driving a regular gasoline car.
- 22:29Speaker 3: And drink milk.
- 22:32Speaker 9: Drink because because if you go to the hot dog
- 22:37Speaker 9: stand at the parking lots full of electric vehicles.
- 22:41Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. They love a good hot dog,
- 22:44Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 22:46Speaker 9: People pick and choose what they like to argue about,
- 22:49Speaker 9: and in my opinion, and no offense to the ped
- 22:53Speaker 9: of people that kind of stuff. People do that in
- 22:57Speaker 9: an effort to set themselves apart and establish an identity.
- 23:02Speaker 9: I'm the green guy, and when everybody sees Big Kenny,
- 23:06Speaker 9: they know they better have some bio degradable stuff on
- 23:09Speaker 9: them and you know, be using natural deodorant and all
- 23:13Speaker 9: of that.
- 23:13Speaker 3: The next time someone handcuffs theirself to the.
- 23:18Speaker 8: Net or do theirself on the floor, I think they
- 23:21Speaker 8: should stop the game, clear the building, just leave them
- 23:24Speaker 8: in there, let them.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Just I think that's brilliant. I think just leave them
- 23:28Speaker 3: in there, let them sit there like. I think that's
- 23:30Speaker 3: a brilliant, and glue yourself to the flow.
- 23:33Speaker 8: Yeah, just leave them sitting there and leave them chained
- 23:35Speaker 8: to the they don't make sure they don't have the
- 23:37Speaker 8: key or anything.
- 23:37Speaker 3: They can't have some other society down there. You gotta
- 23:41Speaker 3: know you bought it on yourself for you to get
- 23:43Speaker 3: out of here, you gotta strip ned because you sports
- 23:48Speaker 3: jo after.
- 23:49Speaker 1: This instanding there, what the prison once come to bus,
- 23:56Speaker 1: the hush, I know you.
- 23:58Speaker 8: See, I know, a bunch of stills, the attention listening
- 24:06Speaker 8: to what's your girlfriends?
- 24:09Speaker 12: Don't go away? Or of the Sports Jock Show with
- 24:12Speaker 12: Wayne Dantidius coming up next.
- 24:16Speaker 20: Uh oh brah, that's buzzed. Oh yeah yeah he's starting
- 24:19Speaker 20: with the woots.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And now a speech.
- 24:23Speaker 13: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 24:27Speaker 13: heart and brain.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Who's with me?
- 24:30Speaker 21: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 24:32Speaker 21: brain is saying when it's time to go home, somebody.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Call me a ride.
- 24:36Speaker 19: Love that guy, me too, know your buzzed warning signs,
- 24:40Speaker 19: call for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Buzz driving is drunk driving.

- 24:54Speaker 16: plead guilty and you can go home and kiss your

- 26:26Speaker 2: In the red zone, Not tell me who won?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Up with us? That's just up and bunch of frin
- 26:46Speaker 3: sign snitches up in the holes of a black Welcome
- 26:53Speaker 3: back to the sports Shops show. I'm in the Sports Shops,
- 26:55Speaker 3: Wayne Candid In New York, Knicks expect it to hire
- 27:00Speaker 3: Mike Brown to be their next head coach. What's up
- 27:06Speaker 3: with your Mike? I played one year with Mike's brother Anthony.
- 27:12Speaker 3: He was offensive lineman and Pittsburgh back in nineteen ninety nine.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Mike has been in the NBA since about ninety six,
- 27:27Speaker 3: ninety seven. He's been a longtime assistant, been the head
- 27:32Speaker 3: coach in Cleveland, Sacramento. He had one little quick stand
- 27:38Speaker 3: there with the Lakers and now the Knicks after a
- 27:44Speaker 3: couple of weeks after firing Tom Thibodeaux. I'll go with
- 27:51Speaker 3: someone that, if I'm a Knicks fan, still makes me questioned.
- 27:57Speaker 3: So now, why did you get rid of Tom? Because
- 28:02Speaker 3: you just made a later remove the guy that you
- 28:07Speaker 3: the guy that you're hired, and Mike and.
- 28:10Speaker 10: Mike Brown will play more players. Tom Thibodeau played six
- 28:14Speaker 10: six and a half players, Mike Brown will play at
- 28:17Speaker 10: least seven.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Do I care how many players you play as long
- 28:20Speaker 3: as we win? Should I? And so they're you're not
- 28:24Speaker 3: They're not running to the ground by the time the
- 28:26Speaker 3: playoffs coming. If I won a championship, would you have
- 28:30Speaker 3: cared I only played seven players? Would you a lot
- 28:33Speaker 3: of coach for only going seventy in the playoffs? That's
- 28:39Speaker 3: Tom Thibodeau does it through the entire season.
- 28:42Speaker 9: Well, and had he won, had the Knicks won the championship,
- 28:46Speaker 9: then the same way they coined the phrase the triangle defense,
- 28:50Speaker 9: it would have been the Tom Thibodeau seven or something
- 28:54Speaker 9: like that, because everybody would have tried to replicate that.
- 28:56Speaker 9: He was able to do it by six and a half.
- 28:59Speaker 9: If it worked, he'd still be If it works, your genius.
- 29:02Speaker 9: And if it doesn't work, you get fired. And typically
- 29:05Speaker 9: when you hire somebody, when you fire somebody, especially for
- 29:11Speaker 9: big corporations, your next hire is supposed to be something
- 29:16Speaker 9: a step up. If you just going to go you
- 29:19Speaker 9: in a later roal, you could just hire somebody that
- 29:21Speaker 9: was already on the staff. Yeah, yeah, does that? It
- 29:26Speaker 9: doesn't do any good to just right?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Right? So Colorado fires Prime and then Bill Belichick takes
- 29:34Speaker 3: the job. You know what I'm saying.
- 29:35Speaker 9: You would think that it would be somebody like, oh,
- 29:37Speaker 9: it makes sense that they got rid of that.
- 29:39Speaker 3: But Mike Brown, no knock on him, he's coach.
- 29:45Speaker 8: But then they just let my get difference Sacramento because
- 29:49Speaker 8: he was having problem with the players. Same so like Thibodeaux,
- 29:52Speaker 8: that same type of mentality, so and again that same
- 29:56Speaker 8: type of ethical.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Be And that's what we asked, Kamenchi, where's the elevation in.
- 30:03Speaker 10: How it's it's it's not an it's not an elevation.
- 30:08Speaker 10: It is a shift in philosophy. At most, this is
- 30:14Speaker 10: a what they might call a retread higher. But I
- 30:19Speaker 10: think for where the Knicks are trying to go, they
- 30:21Speaker 10: were trying to get. They clearly were trying to make
- 30:24Speaker 10: that big name splash higher, even by calling the coaches
- 30:29Speaker 10: who were who already had a job.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Uh.
- 30:32Speaker 10: They were trying to get that big name to and
- 30:35Speaker 10: then make it more attractive and then trying to stand
- 30:37Speaker 10: the news cycle. Like Don Staley's name was floated out
- 30:40Speaker 10: there had to tell a lot of people like that
- 30:42Speaker 10: that's not going to happen. But I think they were
- 30:46Speaker 10: going to go with either Mike Brown or Michael Malone.
- 30:50Speaker 10: I think it was going to be one of those two.
- 30:52Speaker 10: It was just for the sake of being in the news.
- 30:56Speaker 10: Why they call those other coaches.
- 30:58Speaker 3: So he just said, Mike be Mike, m B before
- 31:02Speaker 3: m will take and again and Tom and Thibodeaux somewhere
- 31:05Speaker 3: like y'all.
- 31:09Speaker 8: I'm sure this is somewhere with his with his grievous
- 31:14Speaker 8: check and he's fine, he's and he's looking at the
- 31:17Speaker 8: check on some.
- 31:19Speaker 3: My final check thought, y'all really fired me and hired
- 31:23Speaker 3: Mike Brown. And I loved that you said that bad.
- 31:26Speaker 3: But because a lot of guys when I talked to him,
- 31:29Speaker 3: especially on texts and things, they always bring in some
- 31:36Speaker 3: some idea that whoever was released fired all that is
- 31:44Speaker 3: comforted in some check. Hey, that can't be comfortable. Can't
- 31:51Speaker 3: make you a little bit. No, for you who have
- 31:55Speaker 3: not received checks, Once you in it, you're in it. No,
- 32:03Speaker 3: you just so you just you're talking just like they are.
- 32:06Speaker 3: I'm just saying thouse the people who haven't received the
- 32:09Speaker 3: checks are the people who make the statements. Not necessarily,
- 32:14Speaker 3: I'm just saying. What I'm saying is that if that
- 32:18Speaker 3: was the case when they let you go as a player,
- 32:22Speaker 3: he's sitting there like Big Kenny Well, I'm saying, he
- 32:25Speaker 3: hasn't thought about the check yet. He's sitting there thinking
- 32:27Speaker 3: this who he's been anticipating that y'all find to say,
- 32:33Speaker 3: you didn't hide Phil Jackson, Phil Jackson, you didn't went
- 32:37Speaker 3: and you have read all back out the ground and
- 32:42Speaker 3: propped him up on the sideline in the garden, because
- 32:46Speaker 3: I mean, we went to the finals where they go
- 32:49Speaker 3: to Eastern College finals. They went to the East and
- 32:51Speaker 3: hadn't been in a dub B. This is what I'm saying.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I did what nobody could do for twenty years with
- 32:59Speaker 3: sick seven dudes, and that wasn't worth at least another year,
- 33:05Speaker 3: and then you fired me. And I'm thinking, Okay, Jesus
- 33:08Speaker 3: might want to get in the NBA. You see what
- 33:10Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 33:11Speaker 9: Surely, surely, at least Saint Paul, there's gonna be one
- 33:14Speaker 9: of them. Dudes's gotta be one of the cipos. I
- 33:19Speaker 9: didn't know Mike Brown.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Know Jesus like that. He wasn't one of the twelve.
- 33:23Speaker 3: How he get in there and you just sitting there
- 33:25Speaker 3: with like, my okay, I got what thirty million dollar?
- 33:27Speaker 3: How much they give him to walk away? I don't know.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I'm just saying I don't even know how much he got.
- 33:31Speaker 3: But my thing was that he and now his reputations tainted.
- 33:35Speaker 8: No no because no, no, no, no, no no, because
- 33:38Speaker 8: Libidou has he got fired in Chicago everywhere else. He
- 33:41Speaker 8: has this reputation of being that the type of coach
- 33:44Speaker 8: that he is, Like Greg was saying, it's just in
- 33:46Speaker 8: different philosophy.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Dibbodeaux is who he is. I just know command she
- 33:51Speaker 3: and Big Kenny that what the bad producer said is
- 33:54Speaker 3: something I hear all the time when I'm about to
- 33:56Speaker 3: checking the people and all they even with the Diddy,
- 33:59Speaker 3: well you know you get keep his money. Yeah, but
- 34:01Speaker 3: he's lost his reputation exactly. And that's what I mean.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Did he did?
- 34:05Speaker 18: He did?
- 34:05Speaker 3: He is more if you don't know from from at
- 34:08Speaker 3: least from the outwardly. But he's always shown me he's
- 34:11Speaker 3: more addicted to the fame and the access than he
- 34:16Speaker 3: is the money. Because if he wasn't in jail, he'd
- 34:18Speaker 3: have been at the Bezos wedding. He would have been
- 34:21Speaker 3: on the list. Matter of fact, he would have been
- 34:26Speaker 3: the one showed up first. He would have been walking
- 34:28Speaker 3: around with user's date, all of them. He would have
- 34:31Speaker 3: been right there together and they went together and listening, Yes,
- 34:41Speaker 3: with the bel it would have been the beazl allegedly
- 34:45Speaker 3: little the wedding reception would have been a freak off.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Allegedly well, and this is what I'm saying about no
- 34:53Speaker 3: more right, I'm talking about the bezel. He said the
- 34:55Speaker 3: bezel wedding says it would have been a freak off,
- 34:58Speaker 3: and Buffy was.
- 35:00Speaker 9: But all I'm saying bad is now, once you're fired
- 35:03Speaker 9: from a job, it's it's the reason they have inadmissible
- 35:08Speaker 9: or I'd like to strike that from the record in
- 35:11Speaker 9: court objection, because once you say something, even if that
- 35:16Speaker 9: evidence isn't in front of you, the seed's been planned.
- 35:20Speaker 3: So you got fired.
- 35:21Speaker 9: It's our conventional wisdom that people don't get fired for
- 35:24Speaker 9: doing good jobs.
- 35:27Speaker 3: You got fired from a successful team. Something got to
- 35:30Speaker 3: be wrong with you. And then they hired Mike Brown,
- 35:34Speaker 3: so we knew it wasn't like a and this this
- 35:37Speaker 3: is one of those firings where someone like a Tom
- 35:40Speaker 3: dibdou who's been around a long time. You'll wonder why
- 35:43Speaker 3: he never got back into coaching. This kind of firing.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Is that that type of situation where see, that's what
- 35:51Speaker 3: I told you, where I don't want to be part
- 35:54Speaker 3: of that. I don't want to continue. I don't want
- 35:58Speaker 3: to put myself in something that, regardless of my success,
- 36:04Speaker 3: I'm getting replaced. I just won't even go back to it.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Tom was Tom about sixty, y'all. Yeah, I take this
- 36:13Speaker 3: commentating or something like this, or you know that kind
- 36:17Speaker 3: of thing. But this is that kind of firing where
- 36:19Speaker 3: a person just feels betrayed by just the league. You want,
- 36:25Speaker 3: what else did you want me to do? We can?
- 36:27Speaker 8: Can we look at it as though he may say
- 36:30Speaker 8: this owners a little bit. I knew going into this
- 36:33Speaker 8: what I'm dealing with with this this owner. Not all
- 36:36Speaker 8: owners are the same in my experience and dealing with them.
- 36:39Speaker 8: So maybe there is opportunity somebody could ask him to
- 36:43Speaker 8: come back if they're which I understand is you just
- 36:46Speaker 8: want to leave and go away.
- 36:48Speaker 3: But wait, I'm not saying he won't come back. I'm
- 36:51Speaker 3: saying this is that pivotal moment where that makes you
- 36:55Speaker 3: question why am I doing this. This is what is
- 36:58Speaker 3: the benefit for me in this outside of just the check.
- 37:03Speaker 3: But what I'm saying is once I got enough checks,
- 37:07Speaker 3: bad producer, once I'm in it. Once I'm in it,
- 37:10Speaker 3: don't cancel the show contractually.
- 37:14Speaker 9: If I put a date on my book for your venue,
- 37:18Speaker 9: you could walk away and never do the show. I
- 37:20Speaker 9: still get paid and my heart broke because I want
- 37:23Speaker 9: to show up and show out. That's what I'm about.
- 37:26Speaker 9: I'm about being the show. That's why I do this
- 37:29Speaker 9: so you can see me. Giving me money, don't do
- 37:32Speaker 9: nothing for me. I get money anywhere. I need you
- 37:36Speaker 9: to see me do what I do because I do
- 37:38Speaker 9: it different. And that's what I'm saying. These people aren't
- 37:41Speaker 9: allowed to apply their passions and their knowledge to what
- 37:44Speaker 9: it is they've made their lives about.
- 37:46Speaker 3: We'll be back more as for a shock show right
- 37:49Speaker 3: after this, What House, What Rhy? What Town?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Don't Go Away?
- 38:12Speaker 1: Or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Danfide is
- 38:15Speaker 1: coming up next.

- 41:20Speaker 3: Welcome back to the spot Shock Show. I'm in the
- 41:22Speaker 3: Sportshock Wing k Inde. We talked a little bit about
- 41:26Speaker 3: Joey Chestnut Nathan's hot dog competition. I've always wanted to
- 41:30Speaker 3: set up something. I might in the next couple of
- 41:33Speaker 3: years find a way to set up some kind of
- 41:35Speaker 3: eating competition. I've always wanted to see how that works.
- 41:39Speaker 3: You know, in today's time, you're scared because you gotta
- 41:42Speaker 3: go get five hundred different insurance companies because you got
- 41:46Speaker 3: someone like a Twitter comes solely to try to hurt him. Sam.
- 41:51Speaker 3: You yeah, he was a piece of wood and sanctioned.
- 41:56Speaker 9: Yeah, that's right. It can't just be a casual. You
- 41:58Speaker 9: gotta go through the is. You got to ask Peter
- 42:01Speaker 9: for forgiveness. Remember we interviewed the competitive eater and he
- 42:06Speaker 9: ate Kale. Right, So who protests that bugs bloody.
- 42:12Speaker 3: What's the opposite of Peter peta cave man?
- 42:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Hunters Peter hed Do they have some kind of association
- 42:22Speaker 3: I don't don't know, some kind of carnivor sports. What
- 42:27Speaker 3: what food would you choose? I've always probably something hot,
- 42:35Speaker 3: like spicy hot, like the peppers.
- 42:37Speaker 9: Who can I'm out my my fascination. I've always been
- 42:46Speaker 9: fascinated with eating contests. Do you want to eat the amount?
- 42:48Speaker 24: No?
- 42:49Speaker 9: No, no, I've always been fascinated because I wonder what
- 42:52Speaker 9: happens the next day, Like so you went and you
- 42:55Speaker 9: ate fifteen hobbin yarrow, ghost poblanos.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Most throw up, Oh well, I mean even coming up,
- 43:04Speaker 3: even coming up, that's got to be like ah, do
- 43:07Speaker 3: you think they go right after the competition in the
- 43:09Speaker 3: back just throw up?
- 43:10Speaker 9: I see, And I want to be there for the
- 43:12Speaker 9: next day still because that's still burning down there. Of
- 43:16Speaker 9: that stuff comes right out and never got into your
- 43:19Speaker 9: system and never die. So you know, those are the
- 43:21Speaker 9: things that fascinate me. Netflix will have a show on it,
- 43:24Speaker 9: maybe about twenty twenty thirty two, because I was gonna say,
- 43:29Speaker 9: when you said twenty thirty I about say twenty thirty
- 43:33Speaker 9: minutes netflick.
- 43:34Speaker 10: They had that Joey Chestnut versus Kobo Yashi. I think
- 43:38Speaker 10: that it might be sooner. You're just holding it and
- 43:43Speaker 10: that's but still even trying to get down, is uh is?
- 43:49Speaker 10: We talked about Pete Diddy five ten years over here
- 43:55Speaker 10: in five no time, by COMMANDSI grigs him free Diddy,
- 44:01Speaker 10: suspended sentence, Let me check your bag?
- 44:04Speaker 3: I got and then look how you look.
- 44:10Speaker 9: I love the commands Briggs because they always say stuff
- 44:13Speaker 9: like suspended sense or under probation.
- 44:15Speaker 3: And to me, all I hear is no bars. You
- 44:18Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. I hear free movement and all
- 44:22Speaker 3: of that stuff is what he's thinking about. Ten years,
- 44:25Speaker 3: ten years for the charges that are left. And we
- 44:28Speaker 3: talked about Mike Brown. The Knicks looks like they're going
- 44:31Speaker 3: to hire Mike Brown to be their next head coach.
- 44:35Speaker 3: In our opinion, on the same level as a Tom Dibbodeaux.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Mike Brown very successful coach. I don't know that he's
- 44:44Speaker 3: won a championship as the head coach. He's won for
- 44:48Speaker 3: several as assistant coach State.
- 44:51Speaker 2: And the Spurs.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Is that Malik Peasley the Sharpshooter is in the news
- 44:59Speaker 3: as well. Sharp Shooter and the thing with Malik Beasley
- 45:06Speaker 3: that threw me in his case NBA. I've been in
- 45:09Speaker 3: the NBA about nine eight nine years now. Uh, basically
- 45:14Speaker 3: a colorful character, all kind of from the Instagram ladies
- 45:21Speaker 3: that he likes to date, to his off the field
- 45:25Speaker 3: habits to pulling guns on families that just want to
- 45:30Speaker 3: look at the houses. I mean, now, we didn't all
- 45:33Speaker 3: we didn't all dated an Instagram model and pull a
- 45:35Speaker 3: gun on the family. We didn't all been there twin.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Come on, now, come one, come on, don't leave me
- 45:44Speaker 3: out there. At least a model leaves the model. Now
- 45:48Speaker 3: he's under investigation for his gambling habits and more information
- 45:53Speaker 3: is coming out. Uh, his agent or one of his
- 45:57Speaker 3: former agent agencies is doing him. He has all the
- 46:03Speaker 3: way down too. I was reading his barber is suing him,
- 46:11Speaker 3: and I kept thinking, how does that work? Like when
- 46:17Speaker 3: did I get in debt to the barber? The barber
- 46:20Speaker 3: come by cut your hand at the house.
- 46:22Speaker 8: Instead of like if you go to this shop, it's
- 46:24Speaker 8: like a thirty forty dollars charge, you probably go to
- 46:26Speaker 8: the house that's one hundred feet billing.
- 46:29Speaker 3: I'm a billion, I'm a billion. I'm an invoice, invoice me,
- 46:33Speaker 3: invoice me. I've known some people that have. I've never
- 46:36Speaker 3: really not calling them names. I know some barbers that have.
- 46:39Speaker 3: They do that, they mobile and like with Slaughter the producer,
- 46:45Speaker 3: I know you look over here and you think that
- 46:47Speaker 3: I haven't I know barbers that. No, I'm not saying
- 46:50Speaker 3: you that. I'm saying typically, even this man got a
- 46:53Speaker 3: barber shop in his house. Even in the jet set situation,
- 46:59Speaker 3: they closed the deal out as they go today.
- 47:04Speaker 9: I've been on productions there a barber, the barber comes,
- 47:07Speaker 9: the amount of money you know.
- 47:09Speaker 8: What I know the barber that I can give you
- 47:12Speaker 8: the promise that hello, command say that again.
- 47:16Speaker 3: The amount of money that's old that is not for haircuts.
- 47:19Speaker 3: But it's trying to say maybe no, it's in a
- 47:24Speaker 3: couple of ounces of something else. I can't talk about.
- 47:27Speaker 3: It is not the money going to the barbers. Can
- 47:32Speaker 3: I say this?
- 47:33Speaker 18: This is what?
- 47:34Speaker 5: This is?
- 47:34Speaker 12: What?
- 47:35Speaker 26: The is?
- 47:38Speaker 5: That?
- 47:38Speaker 22: What?
- 47:39Speaker 12: No?
- 47:40Speaker 3: I lost? But I can't involved in talk like that.
- 47:44Speaker 8: But sports John the story said he's going to the barber,
- 47:46Speaker 8: and Dennis, do you know you know barbers?
- 47:50Speaker 3: And also well and the Dennis also proposed to some
- 47:54Speaker 3: of the Well, let me say this.
- 47:57Speaker 9: The what I guess they're trying to get us to
- 48:00Speaker 9: believe is that your barber was willing to cut your
- 48:03Speaker 9: hair one hundred and thirty five times before he paid you.
- 48:08Speaker 9: And I mean, and that's based on what they can prove.
- 48:11Speaker 9: Now how many how much am that saying? He owes
- 48:13Speaker 9: the barb But we'll come back after the break. It's
- 48:15Speaker 9: the barbs together. Yeah, it's a barber and the Dennists.
- 48:20Speaker 3: We heard the dentist thing. They're two different people. You
- 48:23Speaker 3: can get in debt to the dentists, bad producer, but
- 48:28Speaker 3: everybody get in debt to Dennists. Some people have to
- 48:30Speaker 3: go get loans to get their teeth fixed, but a
- 48:34Speaker 3: haircut typically people have in their pocket at least get
- 48:37Speaker 3: it financed. But I'm saying that they don't have to
- 48:40Speaker 3: get a hair haircut. But the dinner, I'll be back
- 48:46Speaker 3: and I get it cut it. I ain't moving.
- 48:52Speaker 7: There is no more excuse.
- 49:05Speaker 1: You don't go away.

- 50:10Speaker 26: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 50:13Speaker 26: with illicit drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 50:16Speaker 26: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 50:21Speaker 26: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 50:24Speaker 26: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is
- 50:26Speaker 26: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.

- 51:11Speaker 1: Court on sports news gossip. Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 51:18Speaker 4: Yeah yeah yeah yo yo yo yeah yo yo yeah.
- 51:21Speaker 4: Here y'all here, y'all, y y y yo yo yo
- 51:26Speaker 4: yout out.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Check this out. Check this out.
- 51:28Speaker 3: I go by to tag his name. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 51:40Speaker 3: welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this one
- 51:42Speaker 3: shock wing Candy. We Uh, we're just talking about Malik
- 51:47Speaker 3: Beasley of the NBA. Has been in the n B
- 51:51Speaker 3: a about eight nine years now, the sharpshooter last year
- 51:56Speaker 3: was with the Pistons. I want to believe, uh, he
- 51:59Speaker 3: has come under investigation for some gambling debts or gambling
- 52:07Speaker 3: situations that they want to take a look at that.
- 52:10Speaker 3: Maybe he maybe point shaving or bet against himself. Not
- 52:15Speaker 3: a lot of information was put out about what it was.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Was it.
- 52:21Speaker 3: It's connected to gambling in some way? It wasn't that.
- 52:25Speaker 10: Nolvic and people have already like tried to gather evidence.
- 52:29Speaker 10: Who's the guy that they just kicked out of basketball worldwide?
- 52:32Speaker 3: What's his name? Johnt Border. He didn't get any time,
- 52:36Speaker 3: did he? I don't think so.
- 52:39Speaker 9: See, and now they're going to start moving to man,
- 52:42Speaker 9: we got to get somebody some time. We got to
- 52:45Speaker 9: send somebody to prison to just to make it unattractive
- 52:49Speaker 9: to do this because at some point we're going to
- 52:52Speaker 9: lose faith in the brand.
- 52:53Speaker 3: More information is facing charges. More information came out about
- 52:59Speaker 3: Malik b's from the fact that he is being sued
- 53:03Speaker 3: by one of his former agents, his dentists, and all
- 53:10Speaker 3: the way down to his barber. And that's what we
- 53:12Speaker 3: were making a couple of light of jokes from the
- 53:16Speaker 3: barber aspect. And when I say sue by the barber,
- 53:20Speaker 3: I'm talking about somewhere in like the thirty thousand dollars rain.
- 53:25Speaker 8: But it got a big head. But what he was
- 53:29Speaker 8: saying that he was lent the money from the barber.
- 53:33Speaker 8: The barber was loaning him money.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Stop, that's what That's what it's saying that he lend him.
- 53:39Speaker 8: One day he got a thousand from him, then the
- 53:41Speaker 8: next day he come and got four thousand.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Okay, so I'm saying that's the case. Then the barber
- 53:48Speaker 3: is some kind of loan shark.
- 53:49Speaker 8: Well, it's because he had a loan agreement and a
- 53:51Speaker 8: promisary note with that. That's why the barber was able
- 53:54Speaker 8: to collect and he did that with the heh the
- 54:01Speaker 8: delicated smiles. The Dennists also lent him money one thousand,
- 54:04Speaker 8: two thousand, and then three thousand in in May of
- 54:08Speaker 8: that year of twenty twenty four.
- 54:10Speaker 3: These people, the Dennists in the barber was loaning him money.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Very interesting. I wonder how that would show up for
- 54:18Speaker 3: them tax in some tax even with the criminal with law.
- 54:24Speaker 9: Yeah, that sounds like laundering to me. That sounded like
- 54:28Speaker 9: laundering to me is what they'll try and put on you.
- 54:32Speaker 9: I mean, because how do you even go he might
- 54:34Speaker 9: be looking at some rico. How do you even go
- 54:36Speaker 9: about asking someone who's providing a service to you to
- 54:41Speaker 9: loan you money.
- 54:42Speaker 3: You came to cut my hair? How do we get intoday?
- 54:44Speaker 21: Man?
- 54:44Speaker 3: You got a g I can borrow. You're in the NBA.
- 54:47Speaker 3: What's so? What's funny?
- 54:48Speaker 2: To me?
- 54:48Speaker 3: Said?
- 54:48Speaker 8: He borrowed a thousand one day, went back the next day,
- 54:51Speaker 8: borrowed nine thousand from the barber, then another day, and
- 54:56Speaker 8: then and again.
- 54:57Speaker 9: I've heard lots of different theory lobbed in court, so
- 55:02Speaker 9: none of this surprises me. But I'm saying, you're is
- 55:05Speaker 9: it a bed? My thing is thinking, is the barber
- 55:07Speaker 9: placing the bit?
- 55:08Speaker 8: He's the bet or he was placing the bit through
- 55:11Speaker 8: the barber had to pay the money back to the barber.
- 55:13Speaker 8: Whatever nobody has got, they're gonna they're gonna figure whatever
- 55:17Speaker 8: it is.
- 55:18Speaker 9: It would make me ask a barber like where do
- 55:20Speaker 9: you cut like that? You would have a g today?
- 55:23Speaker 9: Then I can come back tomorrow and get nine thousand
- 55:26Speaker 9: from you days I can do that hat. I ain't
- 55:32Speaker 9: seen no hair on the floor. Nobody they're not sweeping.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Nobody's sweeping, nobody's talking barber shoply, there's no convers trimming,
- 55:44Speaker 3: trimming with the shears will and still no hair cutting.
- 55:50Speaker 3: It's barber shops don't make nine thousand dollars in a month.
- 55:54Speaker 3: This man said he come back the next day on
- 55:56Speaker 3: some Hey, when you hook up my line, you give
- 56:00Speaker 3: me nine g's too. Yeah, And that opens up a
- 56:02Speaker 3: whole nother case if it starts becoming these people are
- 56:07Speaker 3: loaning him money or he's placing bets, and how does
- 56:10Speaker 3: that work with taxes and the federal government. Malik Beasley
- 56:15Speaker 3: finds himselves and I know a lot of people criticize
- 56:17Speaker 3: he could have a gambling problem. So you can't just
- 56:20Speaker 3: sit there. You know, he made the money and this
- 56:24Speaker 3: is something. But they also have addicts. A lot of
- 56:28Speaker 3: sports people are addicts to think you think any of
- 56:31Speaker 3: this would be some sort of maybe barter. I'll give
- 56:37Speaker 3: you dental services, but you're gonna have to hit twelve
- 56:41Speaker 3: points tonight for me because you know it's.
- 56:45Speaker 8: But it's making me think that, like maybe did Barber
- 56:50Speaker 8: hit on something that he had a game in and say,
- 56:52Speaker 8: hey man, you gotta hit me off on that game
- 56:54Speaker 8: last night? Oh I did that for you?
- 56:56Speaker 3: You got to hit me off. I don't know. I mean,
- 56:59Speaker 3: it's just so.
- 57:00Speaker 8: Something weird about it now that you found out that
- 57:02Speaker 8: the loans were coming from the Barber and the Dennis.
- 57:04Speaker 9: But again, at some point, the fan, the people who
- 57:07Speaker 9: actually bet with these betting houses, are going to start
- 57:10Speaker 9: to lose confidence in the brand. I understand that if
- 57:16Speaker 9: I can beat if I missed the parlay or if
- 57:19Speaker 9: I missed the put, but if you're telling me you
- 57:21Speaker 9: out there really.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Fixing the game from inside, the games have been always been.
- 57:26Speaker 3: This is nothing new.
- 57:27Speaker 8: It's just new because of how gambling now is in
- 57:30Speaker 8: the forefront, from Shoeless Joe Jackson to all the way
- 57:33Speaker 8: to the guys at Villanova, the Dwayne McClain, Cocaine McClain,
- 57:38Speaker 8: those gots been.
- 57:39Speaker 10: Games have been fit in this case, and we've talked
- 57:42Speaker 10: about before it with the gambling part. Some people have
- 57:46Speaker 10: come up with it's from unusual betting activity, like with
- 57:49Speaker 10: John tay Porter was taking the under on the points
- 57:52Speaker 10: he would score. And then with Belik Beasley, a lot
- 57:55Speaker 10: of people bet on how many rebounds he would get.
- 57:58Speaker 10: That's not something he's known for doing in a game
- 58:02Speaker 10: for the most part. But all these people saying he's
- 58:04Speaker 10: going to get under five rebounds in this game, that's it.
- 58:09Speaker 10: And that's where they can get caught up in feral investigations.
- 58:12Speaker 10: Is unusual activity like that.
- 58:14Speaker 3: And and I'm not going to bet.
- 58:17Speaker 9: Rather than risk losing my money, I'll just find another
- 58:21Speaker 9: sport to bet on. I'll just keep my money and
- 58:25Speaker 9: go back to the old offline betting houses.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Well, the one difference because the babucer one thing to
- 58:31Speaker 3: help you out, is not the same as when those
- 58:35Speaker 3: people shoeless Joe Jackson and any of the rest of them.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Because major sports franchises now were never advocates of gambling.
- 58:45Speaker 3: But that's true. How they actually are avagant advocating go
- 58:51Speaker 3: out and gamble with the logo on the jersey. But
- 58:56Speaker 3: in fact, yes, that's true. But at the same time,
- 58:58Speaker 3: I'm just with the logo the game fixing, the fixing games,
- 59:02Speaker 3: It sends a different signal. It used to be everybody
- 59:06Speaker 3: should stay away from gambling. Now it is we responsibly, Yeah, responsibly.

- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna go all the way you may vegan.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Welcome back to the sport Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there in
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: in Atlanta. We are a day away from the fourth
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: of July. Uh, you off work? You didn't go to
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: work today. You know how we do it here in America.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: The day before, the day after, and the Monday after
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: a holiday is now considered rest weekend. Greg hasn't gone
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: to work since Tuesday. You know, That's just how he
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: does it. And right, and now what you told me? H, well,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: I have to go to work today and tomorrow, so
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: at my weekend was earlier. Oh well, you probably DJing
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: some parties. Yeah, let's say that. Let's good.
- 1:02:36Speaker 18: Then.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Kenny's in the building, the bad producer in the building,
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Mike Brown, a new head coach of the Knicks. George
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Chestnut back at Nathan Hot Dog competition. Wimbleton is going
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: on Cocoa Golf. Got knocked out in the first round.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: I want to say, that was like Tuesday. What do
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: you think about that? Did you see I watched that mansion?
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: She just didn't seem like she wasn't prepared for winning
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: a major. She didn't come back, she didn't get prepared
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: for this next one. She was like, still, I won
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: that major and I'm still in that mode. Well, I
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: know one part of her game she's not that good
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: on grass surfaces, is making that switch from from clay
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: to grass.
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: But that's why I said, so after you won't that major,
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: I would think that, knowing that woman up next, I
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: would been on some grass getting it in, trying to to.
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: And I was just wondering because you know, she was
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: crying afterwards, and she was all emotional, and I'm just thinking, like,
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: it's something else going on with her.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Is she hurt or or was she No reports that
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: she got hurt in between the Roland Garros and Wooboomton.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: From the little report I saw it seeing Man Kenny
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: was talking about it before the show, sounds like she
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: had been partying and maybe hadn't gotten around too. And
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: some of those tears could be the regret of not
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: of knowing that I didn't fully prepare to get out
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: and cheat it myself. Yeah I went, you know, and
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: it could just be a day. I knew I should
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: have got up this day, and I pushed it another
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: two days and now I'm here losing because I thought
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: I could just turn it on, turn it off, especially
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: on the surface that she's not that well equipped to
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: play on.
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: So well, that's the reason I asked, because I mean
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: not to try to take I was just one of
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: consumers that she lost. I was like, man, I wonder,
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: what's boys, John think about this right here because of
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: the fact that tennis is your thing. But at the
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: same time I was expected more. Not the first round though,
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: and then that A lot of people were.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Like, I think it's hard on especially gen Z age athletes,
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: because the millennials already had it tough, but they actually
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: have where everything is celebrated if you're in that age
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: group and has to be documented. So basically, if you're
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: what twenty six, twenty seven and down, you would be
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: in gen Z. So those athletes, everything is celebrated to
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: the max. Everything, you know, my emotions for everything have
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: to be completely back in line. It's not one of
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: those I need time for them to have fun. So
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: you see that in your That's why I think a
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: lot of the kids will you know, not kids, but
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: you see a lot of early retirements, like I just
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: don't do this no moment they burn out. I'm good,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: you know. I was trying to kick it. And then
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: you come with a championship game and you know, come on, bruh,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: you know. And I think that's the thing with coaches.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: I was seeing one of the Clemson or the South
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Carolina the gymnastic coach they fired her, and I was
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: reading or verbal abuse and I was, yeah, if you're coaching, now,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: like your level of tone, how you have to be
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: able to speak. It's almost left up to the athlete.
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: Would you please come in up practice vaults? I know
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: you they want to go, but can you please come
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: and practice?
- 1:06:18Speaker 10: It seems like it's like easy to offend that know.
- 1:06:22Speaker 10: We talked about sometime last year that the in a
- 1:06:25Speaker 10: text message the thumbs up emoji is offensive.
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: What No, No, the thumbs up emoji wasn't offensive. It
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: was a binding agreement, Oh, binding agreement. If you give
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: me the thumbs up emoji in a hey uh we
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: good on that. Twenty seven thousand dollars for the haircut
- 1:06:44Speaker 9: thumbs up emoji, now you owe me to.
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: It's just it's punctuation, the like using a period that
- 1:06:50Speaker 10: so now you, because of this must stop using loco
- 1:06:57Speaker 10: any one of those groups.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: I think the young lady that won like two or
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: three titles last year in tennis, I want to say
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: her last name might be Radicalnoe. She was speaking on
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: like as she won like two majors back to bag
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: and then she just got caught up in the whirld
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: wind of the commercial and the fame and the Instagram
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: and being invited, and she just started falling off. She's
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: trying to learn how to balance that. There's gonna be
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: some winning in this.
- 1:07:32Speaker 9: And this is the thing that I find interesting is
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: you said she started falling off, and we say that
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: as if maintaining that level was her priority, Like we see,
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: uh may be done.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: I don't know if she rank at all when she compete.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: I don't even know if she still compete, But her
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: valuation is what.
- 1:07:55Speaker 9: Her priority is. Her profile and access is what has
- 1:07:59Speaker 9: become her prior already. So you know, maybe practice and
- 1:08:02Speaker 9: competing are just.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: Means to an end. Yeah, And that's why we always
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: talk about that thirty is a true benchmark. Most of
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: the even great athletes are gonna probably walk away from
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: the sport by thirty. They're not doing because of what
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: they can make now in college and now by thirty,
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: and then they can parlay that into some kind of
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Instagram and then you know, each and every tennis lady
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: that wins a match, the next time they put her
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: name on the screen, they got her in some bikini.
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: Sports illustrated like that, got her own line in target
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: and win, lose.
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: A draw if you're cute. The swimmer from the Olympics,
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: I think she might have been from maybe Norway or
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: something like that. She was just pretty lady that was swimming.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: She became more popular than an't win. I don't even
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: know if she placed in the round. That's how quick
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: they do. And that's what I'm saying. And then that
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: part doesn't matter winning. Yeah, remember the you know what,
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: I'm stand at the podium, I'm drake the flag around
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: you and give you the gold medal. I mean, you
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: don't have to have it all.
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: Yeah, we could just do that as an ad campaign,
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: you know what I mean, we could just I don't
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: really need to live that.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: I could just see it in print. The Los Angeles
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Lakers looked like they've added a piece that they were
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: searching for last season by grabbing DeAndre Ayton, who was
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: the first pick of first overall pick of the draft
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: back in twenty eighteen. Twenty nineteen where Luca Duncans came
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: out of Ayton was one. I think Luca was three
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: or four and three, And in this now they are teammates.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: Eighten is twenty seven years of age. He started with Phoenix,
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: moved over to Portland. Now he's in La on a
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: two year deal. The center piece that might be able
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: to kind of quiet some of these Lebron James trade thoughts.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Now you have eight and in the middle with Lebron,
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: Luca still has Austin Reees right at least at the moment,
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: and Rudy Hachima as possible starting five for your team.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: So the Lakers, I think, with that piece have to
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: be dealt with again based on health. Now you got
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: to worry about Luca and coming back in shape.
- 1:10:48Speaker 9: Lebron and his health because and I was listening to
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: you as you were setting it up and relaying the
- 1:10:56Speaker 9: information to us, and I thought quickly that this sounds
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: like a kind of station we didn't had about the
- 1:11:01Speaker 9: Lakers already, Like oh, they got this guy, and now
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: they got him, and we're about to have this and
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: so now you better. And it ended up the way
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: that it ended up, And a lot of that was
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: predicated on the Luca being just regular Luca.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: You know what I mean, we.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: Seem like we're still waiting for him to take it
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: more serious.
- 1:11:21Speaker 16: What is it?
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: How would we define that he just you know what
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: is he?
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: What?
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: With Luca? It's uh.
- 1:11:29Speaker 10: He has often come into training camp out of shape
- 1:11:33Speaker 10: and tries to play his way into shape, right, and
- 1:11:36Speaker 10: so it seems like he starts off slow and then
- 1:11:38Speaker 10: by the end of the season it's better, but then
- 1:11:42Speaker 10: he kind of runs out of gas.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: And I'm seeing the pictures of him working out.
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: And right, because I'm saying that start the season out
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: of shape and then work up to in shape is
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: good for New Year's resolutions, But that ain't NBA. I
- 1:11:59Speaker 9: would like you, if I'm paying you to please, you know,
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: hit the gym one or two times in the office
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: and then.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: I think the move also gives them the range even
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: in two years when Lebron retires. Yeah, this contract being
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: two years eighton is now it's about can someone on
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: the Laker organization get him to live up to his potential? Yeah,
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: because he is a big man. He's a more modern
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: big man, a guy that can move around.
- 1:12:30Speaker 10: He's been asked to do things that a center would
- 1:12:35Speaker 10: normally do that he wasn't asked to do before, Like
- 1:12:40Speaker 10: we want you to protect the rim and rebound. It's like,
- 1:12:43Speaker 10: but I want the ball on the block and I
- 1:12:46Speaker 10: can face up and take a guy off the dribble,
- 1:12:48Speaker 10: not we don't need to do that.
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: But he was released from he was released from Portland,
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: but he was traded from Phoenix. And apparently you know
- 1:12:59Speaker 8: he has things they like tempotentium, missing flights, things like that.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: I guess said gen Z didn't I. I mean it's
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: that too. Yeah, he's got who didn't And we're talking
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: about the Dolts temper tantrum. Really a temple tandrum some
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: one two seventy talking about the temple tantrum.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: It's not something. I mean, poor ship diamonds and pearls.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: I mean, should have seen the iights shining.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: On the wrists.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Not money ain't the bottom.

- 1:22:39Speaker 24: So?
- 1:22:40Speaker 19: Uh?
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: Is there a standard recipe? Is the thing?
- 1:22:42Speaker 9: And who's responsible for it? I wanted to read which

- 1:23:08Speaker 4: Is that?
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Because I think every state has a different Okay, I
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: didn't know that food group or food that they claim
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: to be there. And they say it can feature game meat,
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: which is widely varied, treaded chicken or pulled pork that
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: usually has tomato and barbecue sauce. Base includes a medley
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: of vegetables and potatoes. So it just basically almost sounds
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: like the freezer broke down and we called it go
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: to Hell soup. Yeah, it's just it's kind of like
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: you just empty what's in the refrigerate, freezer broke and
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: throw it all in the foro it go bad. Yeah,
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: just put it in it, make it real spicy. Yeah,
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: just call it go to hell like what I never
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I never heard it called that. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: That possum that y'all forgot that was in the bottom
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: of the deep freeze. Yeah, yeah, next to that ground beef,
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: next to that chicken leg all that.
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: I mean, I ain't gonna let it go bad. So
- 1:24:11Speaker 9: we're gonna throw it in the pot and tonight we'll
- 1:24:13Speaker 9: eat it. Get them potatoes because they already sprouted. They
- 1:24:16Speaker 9: already sprouted, right.
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: So we get them potatoes.
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: You got them domatoes of salt, Canada money corn and
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: it is, and some barbecue sauce there and make some
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: colon bread.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: We'll be back more sports jock show right after this. Yeah,
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: just got a done, got a pleasure closing.
- 1:24:42Speaker 12: Don't go Awayne Born of the Sports John Show with
- 1:24:45Speaker 12: Wayne Dandidius coming up next.
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:24:50Speaker 13: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:24:54Speaker 13: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:24:58Speaker 13: have life insurance.
- 1:24:59Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:25:01Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:25:03Speaker 27: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: What about you?
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:25:08Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:25:10Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:25:12Speaker 27: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:25:14Speaker 27: the insurance informant.
- 1:25:15Speaker 13: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:25:18Speaker 13: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:25:21Speaker 21: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:25:23Speaker 21: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:25:25Speaker 13: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:25:28Speaker 13: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:25:30Speaker 13: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:25:32Speaker 13: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:25:36Speaker 13: two options benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:25:41Speaker 13: Log on today Benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 1:25:45Speaker 13: orbills dot com.
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: Hurting the game.
- 1:25:49Speaker 18: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 1:25:55Speaker 18: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:25:58Speaker 18: times when bootstraps enough, when stress gets to us and
- 1:26:02Speaker 18: we need to talk to someone about what we're really
- 1:26:04Speaker 18: going through. So we're gonna reach out because sometimes mental
- 1:26:09Speaker 18: health is not a one person job.
- 1:26:11Speaker 24: Is it?
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love your Mind
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: Today dot org.
- 1:26:14Speaker 18: Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and
- 1:26:17Speaker 18: the head counsel.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports Job Wayne.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Gandy Player's Lounge.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: I've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Indeed, here we go, boys out.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: You don't feel you excite entertainment, y'all?
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: You name many right?
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta squad right when the man nobody name
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: John Young God, it was right.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: Right now we gotta go. We gotta go, y'alla?
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: What basin sword shock shum this WoT shock wing gind
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: the Indiana Fever Caitland Clark's team. All right, now it's
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: everybody except Kitlyn Clark's team. She was injured for five
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: games earlier in the season. She is going to miss
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: her for the fifth game here this week is well.
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: So she's missed about seventy percent of the games. Just
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: a lot of wear and tearing. Up until this year,
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: I was reading she had never missed the game at
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: any point from when she was a little girl to
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: high school through college.
- 1:27:35Speaker 26: Uh.
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: And that's sometimes how it hits you, that wear and tear.
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: At some point you start doing big commercials and getting
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: away from your regular routine and you find yourself injured.
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: But the Fever was still able to beat the very
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: capable Minnesota Links for the Commissioner's Cup on Tuesday night.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Another thing in that game at halftime, Red Panda, fifty
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: five year old might mess up. Her name wrung when
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: she fell off her unicycle. And I know when I
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: go to the Hawks games and people do those unicycle
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: or they do all those hot wire acts, and when
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: you see them, it is an appreciation. They're doing these
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: things without any nets, and they are just one slip
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: away from falling twenty feet. Luckily, she was only on
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: a unicycle that was about eight feet tall. She broke
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: her wrists, stayed a couple of hours in the hospital,
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: and at fifty five, you know that's a major injury
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: when you're breaking it up. And this is a female acrobat.
- 1:29:00Speaker 9: She is not an actual panda, because if it were
- 1:29:02Speaker 9: an actual it would have been a bigger story had
- 1:29:05Speaker 9: a panda, actual panda endured itself at a w NBA game.
- 1:29:10Speaker 9: I don't think you can have actual animal anda's doing tricks. See,
- 1:29:16Speaker 9: that's they don't allow that anymore.
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: Well, they used to do something coming back though, I.
- 1:29:23Speaker 9: Don't think they allow that because bears used to ride
- 1:29:25Speaker 9: the bottom saying I think pandas you just get to
- 1:29:27Speaker 9: look at them, yeah, in danger, you don't.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: They don't do any kind of tricks. But her name
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: is the red Panda, A real name is wrong when yeah,
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: you could see her instantly grab her wrists.
- 1:29:44Speaker 9: She instantly in this early start into the yeah, like
- 1:29:48Speaker 9: twelve seconds, that's what the video I just watched.
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: And so good to see that she has only sustained
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: a broken wrists. Will will we see a time when
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: they just stopped trying to entertain us at halftime or
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: we already and wrote that into the liability clauses, Like
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: you know, I think I think sometimes our hubrisus humans
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: forget that over time, enough things happen. It's like anything
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: a pipe in a house eventually will burst. Yeah. I
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: know you're sitting there and you're a man. Well it's
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: been like eighteen years. You thought that it was never
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: going to go. That's just how kind of things are.
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: You got to show people like somebody's falling off, you know,
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: every other act or every other week. It can't just
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: be one person fell off over the course of a
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: whole basketball season season right as your evidence that we
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: need to get rid of halftime performance, right right, that's
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: not good, that's not good. We calculated in the four
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: people actually actually we're winning. Yeah, because you were saying,
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: how we things last that long as we complain. I
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: remember standing next to the new air unit guy on
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: some Man, these team are supposed to last thirty years,
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: and he was like this one thirty eight years old,
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: and okay, okay, yeah, all right then right, well standing there,
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: you know how on the washing machine and dryer the
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: badge actually says ten years and you're in there and
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: it's you fourteen years in fourteen year and they just
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: don't build them like they used to. No, exactly, Yeah,
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: this one building they better than they used to building
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: fourteen years. When he said it, like this one thirty
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: eight years old, I was like, wow, it's been outside
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: the whole time. You know, this thing is actually thank you,
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: sir for your service. So the fever, Dick Valley twe
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: says that the w NBA ladies the players are just pure,
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: purely jealous of Caitlyn Clark. They voted her the ninth
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: best player best guard in the w n b A
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: for the All Star voting, and Dick Votel says it
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: really is shows pure jealousy for her to be that low.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: Anybody wanted to spell somebody was number one with the
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: fans and number two with the media, they say, with
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: the players, she was, and then they were saying she
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: was fans Yeah, yeah, number one fan vote too with
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: the media. Number who was number one with the media,
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: I think it was uh, I saw it?
- 1:32:54Speaker 10: No, No, I mean I'm on guards on guard, oh,
- 1:32:57Speaker 10: guard page, Bilgers whatever. Caitlin was number one with fans,
- 1:33:07Speaker 10: number three with the media, behind Sabrina and Netcul and
- 1:33:12Speaker 10: Alicia Gray. Okay, and then number nine with the UH players.
- 1:33:20Speaker 10: Paige Becker's was number two with the fans, five with media,
- 1:33:25Speaker 10: and four with players as a guard.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: Which brought me to the question are women athletes more
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: jealous than male athletes?
- 1:33:38Speaker 28: I don't know.
- 1:33:40Speaker 8: It's hard to say that because we haven't had this
- 1:33:42Speaker 8: problem with hearing this with the w NBA or anything like,
- 1:33:46Speaker 8: because you had all the players through the years of
- 1:33:48Speaker 8: from Lisa Leslie to Candish Parker, you never really hurt
- 1:33:54Speaker 8: any of this talk about fan votes versus the ninth
- 1:34:00Speaker 8: voted number one by the fans in the media, but
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: then you voted ninth by your fellow peers. And we
- 1:34:06Speaker 8: always say that our peers know best or the peers
- 1:34:09Speaker 8: is playing that. So I don't know if the fan
- 1:34:13Speaker 8: is right and if the media is nine times out
- 1:34:15Speaker 8: of ten if the fans, it's like the media and
- 1:34:18Speaker 8: the fans are wrong and the players know because they
- 1:34:21Speaker 8: play against them or when it's your your person, whatever,
- 1:34:25Speaker 8: or the.
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: Well bad producer. I had moved on to, do you
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: think men are more jealous or women with a man
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: group regardless of how I feel about you vote Big Kenny. Yeah,
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: they would to where Big Kenny is supposed to be. Yeah,
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: it's happened, but that makes sense. Yeah, yeah, I understand
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: what you're saying. Big Kenny averaged eight more points than me,
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: four more rebounds, two more. Still, yeah, it's happened.
- 1:34:52Speaker 9: We ain't talking about the media not letting Barry Bonds
- 1:34:56Speaker 9: in the All Star Game. You see what I'm saying.
- 1:34:58Speaker 9: We talking about baseball on some I haven't seen it
- 1:35:01Speaker 9: in the with players. I know in the NBA there's
- 1:35:06Speaker 9: a I know LaMelo Ball had the number one fan
- 1:35:10Speaker 9: vote among guards but ranked very low on his media
- 1:35:16Speaker 9: and players. And that might have been because you know,
- 1:35:21Speaker 9: Charlotte's not a very good team. But at the same time,
- 1:35:24Speaker 9: I've seen where Trey it happened with Trey Young. He
- 1:35:28Speaker 9: was ranked high with the fan vote, but then with
- 1:35:31Speaker 9: the median players and with coaches he was ranked lower.
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: So and I would ask someone to tell me eight
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: people that play guard it's better than Caitlyn Clark, and
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: not eight players, because maybe you don't think she is.
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: Maybe you do have a Wilson and Brianna Stewart name
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: you know different, But name me eight guards that's better
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: than Caitlyn Clark, and I commit. Now that are up
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: there exactly, so she was. If she was, if you
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: moved her from nine to say five, this wouldn't be
- 1:36:26Speaker 3: a story because people could imagine, you could name it Sabrina,
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: Escue Alicia, you know. But they're trying to figure out
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: where you get the other four people from.
- 1:36:37Speaker 9: And I think that some of this you talked about,
- 1:36:40Speaker 9: we've seen it in the NBA. I think sometimes when
- 1:36:44Speaker 9: it comes up in sports like the NBA or baseball,
- 1:36:46Speaker 9: it doesn't come up until we start talking about All
- 1:36:50Speaker 9: Star games. But with Caitlyn Clark, she's been the target
- 1:36:55Speaker 9: of people's ires. It's like, this is our chance to
- 1:36:58Speaker 9: give her her ten years.
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. We couldn't get her on
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: the rest of these charges, but we gonna make sure
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: that weigh her now. Were gonna get her there. I
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: couldn't get on the rico. She still got the shoe
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: release sold out in the winter. She still got the
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: deal and the rookie into this and the most that.
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: But this All Star Oh you what you say, ain't
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: nobody leaving the room? Kate le'clark? You number nine.
- 1:37:25Speaker 8: I don't know if it was dig bytwe but if
- 1:37:27Speaker 8: somebody said that the the w NBA gonna miss their
- 1:37:31Speaker 8: gift with cait Lencark. She should go and start her
- 1:37:35Speaker 8: all league and watch how.
- 1:37:38Speaker 9: I'm saying, because a lot of this and I'm like,
- 1:37:41Speaker 9: it's the result of we need more money, we need
- 1:37:44Speaker 9: more attention. W NBA is just as important. We need
- 1:37:47Speaker 9: more money, we need more attention. And now here it
- 1:37:51Speaker 9: is you got the money, you got the attention, but
- 1:37:53Speaker 9: it's all going towards one person.
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: Now that's what they matter. They don't need to expand
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: the w n B. If Caitlyn Clark is not going
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: to stay around. When you say not stay around, I
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: mean if she starts her own lead, you can expand
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: like she's like they did with the Valkyries and these
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: next year. I think they're going to do with two
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: more teams if Caitlyn Clark is going to be I
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: don't watch w NBA unless Caitlyn Clark play, unless it's
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: like it has to be Asia Wilson against Brianna Stewart,
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: if it's not like the Aces versus the Liberty, I
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: don't watch any other w NBA. It's people who's daughters
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: and sisters and wives play in the w NBA, and
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: they don't watch unless Caitlyn or Brianna is playing Asia.
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: That's it. That's so when you're laughing at that, her
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: power of the game, her ushering in it. It is
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: as equal to what Michael Jordan brought to the NBA,
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: where if you told people Michael was not playing, they
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: blew off the game. We'll be back with more to
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: Sports Jock Show right after this. Yeah, you're playing that.
- 1:39:25Speaker 7: You're so hot?
- 1:39:26Speaker 28: Can you see you guess kills in the bedroom and shutify?
- 1:39:30Speaker 28: So man, how did youse you still nen come through him?
- 1:39:34Speaker 28: See you want to come to see me because you
- 1:39:36Speaker 28: know you want me. I'm gonna say, you white kids, you.
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: Got it on.
- 1:39:43Speaker 12: Don't blow Awayne Born of the Sports Jock Show with
- 1:39:46Speaker 12: Wayne Dandiez.
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: Coming up next.
- 1:39:49Speaker 26: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:39:52Speaker 26: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:39:55Speaker 26: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:39:59Speaker 26: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:40:02Speaker 26: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:40:06Speaker 26: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.

- 1:41:54Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:42:18Speaker 25: Logdon say you can see a sports jaint I'll sing even.
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: Welcome back to this one shock show up this one
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: shock Wayne Kenny. What I'm talking about? Caitlyn Clark. Even
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: Dick vital at eighty five feels like, uh, the other
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: players in the w NBA are just jealous of Caitlyn Clark.
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: And I was just as we went to break Greg
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: just let you know, Magic Bird, Michael Jordan. They ushered
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: in this kind of superstar over team. Like I'll go
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: watch the Falcons play anybody in a regular season game.
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: I'm not going to see a preseason game, but I
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: don't care. It's the Falcons against whoever came in. Whether
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: you're starting quarterback out there or not, doesn't change my idea.
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: But if I'll go to the Hawks game and the
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: Hawks are playing Charlotte LaMelo Ball, if LaMelo isn't playing
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: and Trey is playing, I'll still go to the game.
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: But if I get note that Trey is not playing
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: for the Hawks and LaMelo is not playing for the Hornets,
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: I start trying to find some young friends that might
- 1:43:36Speaker 3: just want to go on a romantic date with their
- 1:43:40Speaker 3: significant other. That's just how the NBA built their model,
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: and that's how most people buy their tickets. So with
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: this expansion, and that's why I say the league needs
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: Juju Watkins to bounce back fast because they need her.
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: He's another component of driving this expansion. But without Caitlin
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: Page and that to drive those teams, why go watch?
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: Can we have some comments?
- 1:44:14Speaker 9: Yeah, Lawyer listeners Online Sports Jock have been listening from
- 1:44:17Speaker 9: the beginning. We got our loyal listener Jared Lloyd and
- 1:44:22Speaker 9: both Uncle Charlie have evoked the Donald Trump name in
- 1:44:27Speaker 9: the case with Diddy. They say that Jared says that
- 1:44:30Speaker 9: Trump had similar charges in Uncle Charlie feel like he'll
- 1:44:33Speaker 9: get a pardon.
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: He still got films and tapes.
- 1:44:35Speaker 9: He used the Trump hotel for a lot of freak offs,
- 1:44:38Speaker 9: and after a year or two he may get pardon.
- 1:44:40Speaker 9: Our loyal listener Keith Ramsey says he first heard of
- 1:44:44Speaker 9: the man act regarding former heavyweight boxing champion Jack Johnson,
- 1:44:48Speaker 9: and then the next time it was a vote was
- 1:44:50Speaker 9: with a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Chuck Berry. Uh,
- 1:44:53Speaker 9: and Uncle Charlie wanted to know Barbara to parlay Man.
- 1:44:58Speaker 9: He also feels like it may be something.
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:45:02Speaker 3: He says, Horace Grant put more back than the NBA
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: on his back. I don't know what that means. Sound
- 1:45:09Speaker 3: a little weird. NBA. Yeah, more than the NBA on
- 1:45:13Speaker 3: his back.
- 1:45:14Speaker 9: And Uncle Charlie say that his sixteen year old granddaughter,
- 1:45:17Speaker 9: who's my cousin, want to know why I keep.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: Clocking in with me? And I say this because I'm
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: obsessed with time. So she's sixteen. We're gonna have to
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: differ on that question right there. So do you get
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: a sense that people want Puffy not to be punished?
- 1:45:39Speaker 9: Now this is and see this is the what I
- 1:45:42Speaker 9: think makes it so convoluted is people understand crime and punishment,
- 1:45:47Speaker 9: but the Rico stuff make it sound like y'all being petty.
- 1:45:50Speaker 9: So people ain't with being petty and vindictive.
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: And and you do all that out there to make
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: you try to knowing he wasn't gonna count kids and
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: constructed justice.
- 1:46:01Speaker 9: You know what I'm saying, That targeted kind of is
- 1:46:03Speaker 9: what they think. And now that goes all the way
- 1:46:06Speaker 9: back to those Robin Hood types throughout history, anybody that
- 1:46:09Speaker 9: seems to be successful outside of the normal blueprint of
- 1:46:14Speaker 9: what we consider success.
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: Because it was so vast right right right, and in
- 1:46:20Speaker 3: so many different locations, right, so it gave me the ability. Well,
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: and I'm saying, but does that just sound like jet setting?
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: And see that's what now this is.
- 1:46:31Speaker 9: I think what makes it difficult when we come to
- 1:46:34Speaker 9: ditties and cases like this is in one vein we.
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: Glorify those activities. That's what rock stars do? You jet
- 1:46:46Speaker 3: set you go place to the place. Well, I'm saying
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: they never we never thought it was a federal thing.
- 1:46:53Speaker 3: We just thought it was jet set jets. We just
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: thought it was rock star lifestyle, right, But you brought
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: it into a Rico calls when you start, I don't
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: know whether you were hiring people in La. Uh huh.
- 1:47:08Speaker 3: You're taking this prostitute with you. Y'all are flying from
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: LA to New York, from New York to London, from
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: London to Puerto Rico. Like you kind of created a
- 1:47:20Speaker 3: web where I could use Rico. Well, because I'm pimping
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: all over the web, you see, because you're because you're
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: legally using.
- 1:47:37Speaker 10: It varies by state. Like if this was all done
- 1:47:40Speaker 10: in Nevada, you would have these problems. But you're going
- 1:47:43Speaker 10: from state to state because I'm pimping. So that's why
- 1:47:48Speaker 10: I'm asking. When I talked to people, it seems like
- 1:47:51Speaker 10: with any I don't know, I don't know anyone that
- 1:47:58Speaker 10: that seems to be. People want him to go to jail.
- 1:48:02Speaker 10: Everybody wants to seem to let everybody out. When I
- 1:48:08Speaker 10: talk to him, it's always but it's like they are
- 1:48:10Speaker 10: not really committing a crime, So why are you trying
- 1:48:15Speaker 10: to get him.
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: In a crime.
- 1:48:17Speaker 9: I think people have convinced themselves that the only crimes
- 1:48:20Speaker 9: are crimes that will produce.
- 1:48:23Speaker 3: Uh grave bodily in to kill you. You could have
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: killed that girl kicking, That's what I'm saying, kid cud.
- 1:48:32Speaker 3: He did say somebody blew his car up. All right,
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: what are you saying now? Somebody blew his carl. Now
- 1:48:38Speaker 3: he don't necessarily know if it was Diddy or some
- 1:48:42Speaker 3: Diddy people, but the car did get blown up.
- 1:48:47Speaker 8: Playboy, you okay, hey, Playboy you okay? Right inact so
- 1:48:52Speaker 8: they Playboy, they robbed your house allegedly supports John Kenny
- 1:48:57Speaker 8: left this common off. Somebody said they want to circle
- 1:48:59Speaker 8: this show for Monday about Kenny supposed to sing?
- 1:49:03Speaker 9: Keep talking about did you want to hear the solo
- 1:49:06Speaker 9: from making fun of the Uber conversation? Remember I told
- 1:49:09Speaker 9: you to dude made me listen to his solo from Cats,
- 1:49:12Speaker 9: and now Keith just running with that joke like I'm
- 1:49:14Speaker 9: gonna sing the sot. If he had paid attention to
- 1:49:19Speaker 9: the story, he would have known how that was a
- 1:49:22Speaker 9: traumatic that made me delete the apps, that made me
- 1:49:27Speaker 9: delete the whole app The man I want listened to
- 1:49:29Speaker 9: the story.
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: We won't really, we won't relive that at all. We'll
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: be back to sports after this, Don't Go Away or
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dantibus coming up next.
- 1:50:10Speaker 13: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:50:13Speaker 13: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:50:17Speaker 13: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:50:20Speaker 13: life insurance.
- 1:50:21Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:50:23Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:50:25Speaker 27: forever life insurance.
- 1:50:26Speaker 3: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:50:28Speaker 7: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:50:31Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:50:33Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:50:35Speaker 27: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:50:37Speaker 27: the insurance informant.
- 1:50:38Speaker 13: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:50:41Speaker 13: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:44Speaker 21: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:50:46Speaker 21: leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer is easy.
- 1:50:49Speaker 13: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:50:51Speaker 13: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:50:54Speaker 13: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:50:57Speaker 13: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:51:01Speaker 13: Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today Benefits
- 1:51:05Speaker 13: or Bills dot com. That's Benefits or Bills dot com.
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Giant, Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: It's time for the school board when we put a
- 1:51:20Speaker 5: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:31Speaker 26: Uh huh yeah, what y'all want to do?
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: You want to be ballers, shot callers, brawlers.
- 1:51:45Speaker 16: We'll be dipping in the bins with the spoilers on
- 1:51:48Speaker 16: the load from the Jake and the tour is.
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: Trying to get right to the Sports Shock Show. I'm
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: the Sports Shock Wayne Gandyes and uh fick. Prayers out
- 1:51:57Speaker 3: to Ronnie Coleman, the bodybuilder has been hospitalized sixty one
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: years old with some health issues. Rick Flair, big shout
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: out some prayers to who the man himself? Rick Flair
- 1:52:11Speaker 3: seventy six dealing with skin cancer once again? Is Rick Flair?
- 1:52:18Speaker 3: So and big shout out to my man og Oliver Gibson.
- 1:52:24Speaker 3: Eight years in the NFL. Started with the Stealers back
- 1:52:29Speaker 3: in ninety five, ended up with the Cincinnati Bengals. Fifty
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: three years old. Passed away the other day. No autopsy
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: yet of what he passed, no cause of death, but
- 1:52:46Speaker 3: only fifty three years oh Og liked to talk. Still
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: ain't made the play, Og, but he had a lot
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: to say. One of those conversationalists, you know, glad when
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: you make a play. Though we're gonna miss, let's talk
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: about that play. He'd love to talk, but they never
- 1:53:05Speaker 3: made the play. O g Out of Notre Dame got
- 1:53:09Speaker 3: drafted to the Stellers. Won the Super Bowl as a
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: rookie back in ninety five with the Stellers. But rest
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: in peace for you, reports Oursha Dork Sanders could be cut.
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: It'd be something interesting here. We are about three weeks
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: away from somebody opening a training camp. I don't know
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: who's in the Hall of Fame game, but that's typically
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: the first two teams to go to camp. But reports
- 1:53:37Speaker 3: with Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, Dylan Gabriel. Remember they drafted
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: Gabriel in the third round. Joe Flacco was there last year.
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: They brought in Kenny Pickett. So somebody's gonna start, somebody's
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: gonna be the back back up and somebody's gonna hold
- 1:53:52Speaker 3: a clipboard and then somebody. Then somebody gotta go find
- 1:53:57Speaker 3: another team. They got five on the roster, including five
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: those teams carry three. So how's it? How do you
- 1:54:11Speaker 3: see it shaping up? The mm hmm.
- 1:54:14Speaker 8: I'm gonna have to see. So he's gonna get cut
- 1:54:17Speaker 8: before camp, he's not. Ain't gonna have a chance.
- 1:54:19Speaker 3: To No, no, no, no. I think sometimes we forgot
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: like they don't they keep a starter or backup and
- 1:54:27Speaker 3: then a third quarterback. And when you have two rookies,
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: in my mind, Joe Flacco is the backup. That's why
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: you keep it guy like Joe Flacco.
- 1:54:40Speaker 9: And as Deshaun Watson under contract, yeah, he number three,
- 1:54:46Speaker 9: he's a clipboard holder.
- 1:54:48Speaker 3: So you're looking to see whether Kenny Pickett can start
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: Joe flackup back up, and then you got to make
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: a decision between the other two, which is shador and
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: I forgot Kenny. I forgot Kenny Pickett was there. Actually,
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: That's why it never hit me that somebody and the
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: only advantage I'm saying with the Dylan Gabriel kid is
- 1:55:14Speaker 3: that he was a third round pick versus should do it?
- 1:55:17Speaker 3: Who was a fifth right?
- 1:55:19Speaker 9: So I mean that that conventional wisdom wouldn't be that
- 1:55:21Speaker 9: he was two rounds better than you.
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: So going into the watch out, as we get closer
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: and closer, it is July, and so who's in the
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: Hall of Fame game?
- 1:55:35Speaker 10: I know it was connected to because the team selected
- 1:55:38Speaker 10: are always connected to one of the players going in.
- 1:55:41Speaker 10: I think it's the Chargers and Lions. Chargers and Lions.
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: So they'll start camp probably around the twenty first, twenty second.
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: It's closer than you think. Trying. Okay, when is the game?
- 1:55:57Speaker 3: July thirty first, Yeah, they've so, yeah, in camp. Two
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: weeks they packing right now? Yeah, two weeks. Let's start
- 1:56:06Speaker 3: training camp because you usually start training camp two weeks before. Yeah,
- 1:56:09Speaker 3: it'll be in campon Ohio at eight pm on July
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: thirty four. Will be in camp around the sixteenth, seventeen,
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: Like two weeks they're being training camp, the Lions and
- 1:56:23Speaker 3: the Chargers. Yes, okay, so we'll start seeing football here.
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: It doesn't seem like it's back, but it is back.
- 1:56:31Speaker 3: What else do we have here? As we go into
- 1:56:35Speaker 3: the holiday week and and the Randy Moss says he'll
- 1:56:41Speaker 3: be back with ESPN after his camps of battle. Good
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: to see him. Damian Lillard was released from the Bucks.
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: He's a free agent, right, yes, okay, after two years
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: with them, just never really was a good fit. I
- 1:56:56Speaker 3: never liked that. I never did like that trade. I
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: thought that Drew Holliday was a perfect point guard for Joannis. Yeah,
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: they needed more scoring and they not necessary and I
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: didn't think that was the Yeah, so Damian Lillard, and
- 1:57:14Speaker 3: I was happy for Damien to get on the team
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: to try, but I never saw his style with them
- 1:57:20Speaker 3: them being like that. So it's not a surprise. So
- 1:57:23Speaker 3: now he's a free agent, probably find himself down to
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: where Houston, Phoenix.
- 1:57:33Speaker 10: I heard lawyers the Warriors. Okay, he put it back
- 1:57:36Speaker 10: in the Miami is a possibility.
- 1:57:40Speaker 3: He may. He may just really just take this next
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: year off to the rehab because it's like about you know,
- 1:57:56Speaker 3: I mean, he's not he well because of the season. No,
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: that's why I know. So you're talking about but I
- 1:58:05Speaker 3: come back. You're not retiring right yet? Yeah, so he
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: has because you gotta think Damian Lillard, Jason Tatum, and
- 1:58:14Speaker 3: Tyrese Halliburton will basically won't be available until next playoff
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: season in a sense, bas case right after All Star
- 1:58:27Speaker 3: break bas case will be then, so it's almost like
- 1:58:32Speaker 3: a year off and sad for him at thirty five
- 1:58:34Speaker 3: thirty six that he has to go through that is
- 1:58:38Speaker 3: Damian Little and Miles Turner, which they're going to have
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: to answer quite a lot of questions in Indiana. He
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: is now with Milwaukee. I think that was a move
- 1:58:49Speaker 3: to keep Gianni's from wanting to leave Milwaukee. If I'm
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: a active center that's only about twenty eight twenty nine
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: years old, someone that can help him down low. So
- 1:59:00Speaker 3: my Turner now is left Indiana and with the Milwaukee Bucks,
- 1:59:06Speaker 3: and we are a notion. The truth is he will
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things
- 1:59:15Speaker 3: up on the Sports Jut Show with Wayne Candy. When
- 1:59:52Speaker 3: here the sounds of ocean gives a swortshock Just a

- 2:01:11Speaker 3: we are on a boat and you are intoxicated. Those
- 2:01:18Speaker 3: two things added together with a slight fall sounds like
- 2:01:23Speaker 3: a funeral. We're protect each other around bodies of water.
- 2:01:28Speaker 3: Every year we come back and we talk about someone
- 2:01:31Speaker 3: is drowned, and a lot of times when you're reading
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: the story, it sounds like if somebody would have just
- 2:01:37Speaker 3: kept an eye on them, it would have worked out.
- 2:01:42Speaker 3: You fell off a boat and nobody recognized you fell off,
- 2:01:46Speaker 3: or like an hour that means you're not being paid
- 2:01:50Speaker 3: attention to. So from the Sports Shock Show, enjoy your
- 2:01:54Speaker 3: Fourth of July. We will try to Big Kenny be
- 2:01:59Speaker 3: with Edie Alco about bad Producer will be somewhere getting
- 2:02:04Speaker 3: some much needed sleep because he keeps falling asleep on
- 2:02:07Speaker 3: the show and Command You. Greg will be trying to
- 2:02:10Speaker 3: get his money back from Malik Beasley. Good luck with that.
